Tue 15 Sept 15: Inchcock Today – Knuckled down to sorting stuff out! Well…

Tuesday 15th September 2015

Head Tue

Woke at 0445hrs: No cramps last night – I put it down to the magnificent magnesium tablets.

No memories of dreams, just a sensation and certain knowledge that I’d had many and didn’t like them? They left a sense of guilt, terrible guilt in me for some unknown reason?

Determined that I should get me medications pots done, and make a start on sorting some of the bags that need doing today overcame me.

I decided to get yesterdays diary finished and posted, then do me Facebooking and make a start on this diary first, being as it is too early to start me sorting yet (Noise – neighbours).

PMClad2WC’d, made a cuppa and took me medications.

WC’d again, no blood from little Inchy yet.

Started on the laptop. Facebooked, emails did a graphicalisation for the TFZers site (For Pat) and then got on with sorting me medication pots out like a good boy.

I did an order from Asda for tomorrow and ordered some A4 folders in the hope that I can sort out me official paperwork into individual folders for each department like.

Rang BJ to see how he was going, he seemed alright bless him.

He’s coming to see me tomorrow, no, Thursday if his car gets repaired.

P1020015Had a wash and shave and titivated up, then did me medication pots up.

Out of me Omega capsules, so I got ready and went on a walk to Holland & Barrett on Sherwood to get some with the smaller tablets if they had any.

Called at the Community shed on the way out and dropped off some more mail for the previous tenant – nobody P1020017around in the shed again.

Up through Woodthorpe Park and into Sherwood, one or two of the regular Nottingham Pavement Cyclists en-route.

Over the hill (No not talking about missen…Hehe) down and across the P1020016pelican lights into the Holland & Barrett shop as the sun struggled to come out.

The nice lady looked for some Omega3 for me in smaller capsule but found none – she sold me some liquid stuff with lemon in it. the label reads that it can be taken by using it as salad dressings like?

P1020013Walked back to the flat and put me bottle away, then WC’d – Little Inchy’s lesion only leaking the slightest bit.

I looked at the bags that needed sorting in the living room and shuddered at the thought.

Then I looked at the terribly large P1020014amount of bags and box’s that need sorting in the bedroom and shuddered even more violently.

Laptop on to update this diary.

I decided to get some sleeves files or whatever you call them to sort out the paperwork into different relevent sections, Utilities, insurance, Nottingham City Homes, the old house, bills, water rates, council tax… etc.

I ordered some A4 folders with me Asda order for delivery tomorrow – hopefully this will force me to make a proper start at sorting further?

The now usual tiredness and weariness overcame me, and I got me nosh on sharpish.

Checked emails, no answer from the police about me Pavement cyclist email I sent them.

P1020018Facebooked a while then got me nosh ready and enjoyed it muchly.

Seasoned baked beans, bread thins, oven fries, crispy bacon – followed by some very naughty Lemon Cheesecake and Fromage frais.

Good this was, rated it 8.8/10.

Settled down to read me book while awaiting an episode of New Tricks coming on BBC 1 at 2100hrs.

Nodded off waking up just before 2100hrs and put the set on to watch New Tricks – It’s lost it for me has New Tricks, all the actors have changed? Don’t like this lot and the humour has gone from the scripts – not that this bothered me much though, I fell asleep after about ten minutes.

Tsk!

  1. I forgot what I was going to say luv. And it seemed so important at the time. Isn’t that so frustrating? Even more frustrating though, is trying to sort my yarn back into the packages they are supposed to be part of. Each was bought to go together, now it’s all over the place and I am trying to find the colors that go with each project again. Six storage containers filled so far, several bags, and some open containers just waiting for me to get the rest of the storage containers I will need. I got the okay from my son to draw more money out for more containers while they are still on sale, so hopefully I will be able to put more projects back together after the sun comes up. Kinda hard to match colors in artificial light. Slow going, but it will be done, and my son will get me a closed pantry for the canned goods, and bring it to me in the next few weeks. It will probably be my Christmas gift, but that’s okay with me. If only there was a filing cabinet now. I don’t want much, do I? Take care of you luv.
Ah, just remembered what I wanted to say — about your “over the hill” remark. Personally, I’m older than the dirt the hill is made of.

    • I agree one hundred percent with you gal on the memory or lack of being frustrating. An hour ago I took the DCIM card out of the laptop, put it back in the camera, took a photo of some leaflets, nipped in the kitchen to put the kettle on, returned and haven’t seen the ‘>@#$< card since! Despite spending ages not finding it. Hehe!
I hope you get your yarn sorted soon Angie, you might need some to repair the sales on me raft when I come over? (Wonderful dream that).
I'm starting to sort out me paperwork, but it ain't working out to good – got some folders today but am no too tired to do it, can't concentrate. Tsk!
It's not age that puts me over the hill Angel, it's me wondering mind… Hehehe! Hey-ho. Age is nowt to worry about, it's the person inside that matters, I've always believed that.
Your turns of phrase should be recorded somewhere so others can pay you each time they use them?
I saw a cafe today in town selling portions of seafood pizzas at £15.00 ($23.20)! Cor blimey, no wonder there was no one outside on the seats when I took the photograph! What would a slice of seafood (It didn't say what seafood, shark, octopus, pizza cost over there Angie?
We've both come to a hiatus in out organising, but we can do it I'm sure.
Well done again, hope the bugs haven't been bothering you.
      TTFN pet. X

      • Around here you really can’t buy just a slice of pizza luv. And I’ve never seen a seafood pizza, but it would depend on the kind of seafood, I’m sure. For $23.20 I could get a large pizza with a double order of wings, including anchovies on the pizza + all extras. Add a tip for delivery, and it would come to about $30. They must be charging New York prices, but even in N.Y.C. a slice wouldn’t cost that much.
I’ll start working on some new sails for your raft today, when I get some rest. My son told me to go on and get the containers I need to finish the job, and he will be here Sunday with a closed in pantry for my canned goods. I’m sure he will have to build it from a kit, but he’s good at that. He built his own house, so a pantry will be a cinch–I hope. He’s as smart as I am there, hehehe. Now don’t laugh at that, I’ve built several pieces of furniture from kits before, and some of them are still here with me. I’ve had to give some away because they were too large for the space I have, and sure wish I had them back, but just no place to put them. I’ve made a dent in the yarn though, and hope to have it finished before the day is over. My cleaning lady will be here after lunch to help, but I think the yarn will have to be all my own project. Trying to put the colors back together for each afghan they were purchased for. I’m tired just thinking about it.
        Take care of you luv.

      • The pizza was advertised at one of the new types of eateries Angie – all clinical,, metal seats and not a very warm atmosphere at all. I don’t think I’ve seen portions advertised in any of the shops, but some restaurants offer them – not at this price though!
That’s decent of your son, thank him for me please.
My DIY efforts with furniture have never been very successful, shame.
I thought today’s mission for me, to sort me paperwork out and get them into the new folders was a bit of a task – but your yarn sorting sounds worse that my paper sorting. Good luck with it gal.
        Hugs. X
