Sat 31 Oct 15: Inchcock Today: Grafted way sorting the kitchen – looks worse than before I started now. Humph!

Saturday 31st October 2015

01topj5Woke 0655hrs, very late for me that.

Went into the kitchen and saw the state it was in – my head wobbled thinking about where to make a start. Tons of things to find permanent homes for now I’ve got the storage drawers in and made up.

Quiet suddenly the reflux valve and angina started kicking off both at the same time. Not good this, never had the both bothering me at the same time. Was it nerves about the mess to sort or what? Last night I was really happy when I settled down too?

01topj4As it got a bit lighter the colouring outside looked beautiful.

Off to the porcelain – Little Inchy had been bleeding again, seems like every night and day lately, must mention this to the nurse on Monday I thought – that reminded me of Monday’s agendas: Asda delivery 6 > 8am, GP appointment,  Chemists to collect me padding for Little Inchy, bus to town then out to meet Brother-in-law Pete who would be there to have his treatment on his skin cancer and results from his last examination. He doesn’t like hospitals, I like to think I manage to keep his pecker up when I go with him every time, stops him thinking about the procedures as I waffle on about other things and don’t let him get a word in, plenty of jokes, anecdotes, memories etc. Then I have to go to see the Nottingham City Homes people about the drilling in me flat, find out if it is okay to fix me book-case with two screws?

Hello, the flipping innards are rumbling again now too. Get a feeling this is not going to be a good day somehow?

Took me medications with a cuppa and got the laptop going.

Did some Facebooking but felt guilty about not attempting to get the kitchen sorted, so I’m logging off (Forcing myself you know?) and will try to get some sorting out done… (1110hrs).

Sun04 Sun06 Sun05

Sun02 Sun01Many many hours and much frustrations and pain later, I gave up sorting as I was well snickered and Anne Gyna was visiting again making me feel sorry for missen.

The place didn’t look any better than before I started me sorting?

I reckoned one more bask tomorrow at the kitchen should have it finished – well perhaps not…

Had a shave got in the bath, had a good soak making sure I didn’t fall asleep in it I got out sooner than I wanted to, then… Whoopsie

AGCT05I  went over onto the floor getting out of the bath again!

Made me nose bleed.

Well tired and now getting irritable with myself, I became even more annoyed when I WC’d and found me haemorrhoids bleeding again!

What a pickle the place was in. Tsk!

No nosh, just took medications with a cuppa and a pot noodle, then collapsed in me chair. Well drained, worried about if I would be up to doing some more sorting in the morning?

Slept right through until gone five in the morning.

  1. Don’t envy you sorting things out! It is amazing how much stuff one can accumulate, a fact that rears its ugly head the time you move and have to figure out where to put it all! When I moved to where I am, I’d lived nearly 50 years in the old place, and that’s 50 years to accumulate a truck load of things one doesn’t really need! Fortunately, when we moved, we were smarter than we realized, and actually brought just what we needed, but it took an auction to deal with everything left at the house!

  2. Oh goodness luv, I started organizing a few things last week, and suddenly my well cleaned living area looked like a junkyard. It takes so long to go thru my files, and even longer to find new homes for them, so for several days I had to sit in there with all that junk surrounding me.
Sorry I haven’t been around much. Another death in the family, making 7 in 2015. My poor kids are beginning to look at me strangely, like they are wondering if I’ll be the next one. I could be repeating myself here. Right now I’m not sure what I’ve said, done or will do any time soon.
I do remember telling you to stop those Whoopsiedangleplops though. And just like a typical man, you just ignored me, again. I guess I’ll have to cross that ocean in the middle of winter to box your ears just to get your attention here. Just don’t think I could handle losing anyone else this year luv. So take better care of you, or I’ll be on that ocean in a flimsy little canoe with all that icy weather hitting me, and I’ll arrive at your door with icicles hanging from my ears, a red nose, and chattering teeth that won’t let me say a single word. You will have to crank your gas ring up so high it might explode, but at least I’ll get warm in a hurry.
Now, take better care of you luv.

    • I can understand your getting confused Angie. Like me, when things get sorted properly maybe we will feel better? I hope!
More classic quotes from you pet: “I’ll arrive at your door with icicles hanging from my ears, a red nose, and chattering teeth that won’t let me say a single word. You will have to crank your gas ring up so high it might explode, but at least I’ll get warm in a hurry.”… I love it when you do these for me.
No so good this morning after me medicalisationalistic procedures yesterday. Hey-ho, I’ll do me best thanks pet not to have any ore Whoopsiedangleplops. Thanks for caring. X

      • I can only try luv. I’m still trying to get my Twitter timeline set up for my blog, and get my life sorted out with so many people gone from it this year. Up all night again, without realizing it. My doc is coming to visit today, and I haven’t made it to the bank yet. I started out for there yesterday at daylight, and now it’s tomorrow. I think it is anyway. Take care of you luv.

      • Good your still trying to get things done gal! Try to remember anything that’s changed from the docs last visit and remember to tell her/him please. I fang you! TTFN pet. X

      • Doctor visit went well. She just stopped by to check in because of the latest death in the family, and we talked for a while, then she left. Going for a day out with a friend tomorrow. She went with me a couple of weeks ago on a shopping trip and had so much fun she wants to try it again, so if the elevator is fixed, we leave early in the morning. Turning in now, so I can be rested and ready. Keen on being good luv. I’m sure trying to be here.

      • Well done Angie – I really hope you have a smashing time… no not smashing, wonderful time! hope you honker is working on yer vehicle? Hehe! X

      • Funny luv. It almost was smashing, when we stopped for fish and chips. I was backing up and my chair kept going faster and faster and I moved a table some people were sitting by before I could stop it. Shook me up as much as it did them, but no one was hurt, thank the lord. Frightened a lot of people, but made a guy sitting at a nearby table get up to help us make our escape from the place. Fun in spite of that teeny little smash up.

      • Whoopsiedangleplop with chips! A first there for you Angie. I’m so glad no injuries ensued, and even happier that you had a good time out. Does your friend live nearby to you?
Have a good day pet, and please accept a cyber-cuddle to comfort and mollycoddle you. X

      • We live in the same building. I’m on the 16th floor, and she is on the 10th. We don’t have a 13th floor, so that makes her 5 floors under me, and just across the hall. That’s pretty close, at least close enough for us to meet frequently and have fun. And oh, we do have fun. I make sure my chair is in very low gear now though. I don’t know how it got in high like that, but I hit something wrong — other than that table. It did bring a lot of people to their feet to help us out the door though.

      • Next time you go there Angie, I bet you don’t have any trouble getting a table! Hehe!
Nice to have someone like your friend nearby, I’m glad to hear it.
I’ve got Steve from Age UK coming today to finish the book shelf and fix it to the wall – it’s only taken two weeks up to now to get it built and this far. He is a busy bloke though.
        TTFN X

      • If I can’t get a table, I know how to TAKE one luv.
Sue and I have been friends for a long time. Not sure just how long, but she has lived her 8 years, so at least that long. I guess we liked each other from the beginning, because we have been friends for as long as I’ve known her. It is nice to have people living here and so close as friends. Makes me feel good to know there are some people close by that I can visit, and who visit me.

      • I’d love that too gal. So happy you have Sue as a friend you can get along with, super!
Must get in the bath now – carefully of course and have a Whoopsiedangleplop free soak before Steve arrives. Take care ta. X
