Inchcock Today – Sunday August 6th 2017

Sunday 6th August 2017

Bosnian: Nedjelja 6. Avgust 2017

0600hrs: Woke to find the TV remote still laying on my generously padded with flesh stomach, and arose from the £300 second-hand recliner in need of the Porcelain Throne. The right arm seemed to have gained a different texture during the night? Hehe!

Another good start to the day here. The only ailments bothering me were Hippy Hilda and Arthur Itis. Even Haemorrhoid Harold and Little Inchy were both free of blood. The three little stab wounds in the left hand

The only ailments bothering me were Hippy Hilda and Arthur Itis.

Did the Health Checks: This morning seemed to be a bit different than the rest of the week? But I was feeling fine, even a little ebullient, buoyant, almost. Due to the ailments absence most likely.

Made a cup of tea, to find the milk had gone off, again! Opened a new carton of milk and made a bigger mug of Co-op 99 tea, and enjoyed it, as I took the medications.

0915hrs: Diary work started. Emails, WordPress reading. Then onto Facebook and the TFZer site. Did some graphicationalisationing prep work for a few hours.

1200hrs: Got the black bean sauce in the saucepan and added onions, peppers, garden peas and mushrooms. Warmed it through and got the Quorn minced beef added, and stood over it stirring it often.

It seemed to take a tremendous amount of time and effort to get this simple meal prepared.

It looked good, smelt good and tasted utterly repulsive, disgusting and awful!

The last time I try Quorn Mince, then.

I don’t think I ate a quarter of it. The inside of the apple had gone off too!

The bread and the potato cakes were excellent, though. Humph!

Doing the washing up and noticed a lady and her dog at the Gravel Path hill near the Copse.

A long way off, but tried to get a decent shot of them. Another dog impatient to get on with his walking and sniffing. He was not amused at being kept waiting and stumped around the lady and the pram constantly to let them know!

Hehe!

Accifauxpa time again:

Washed up the pots and things, and getting into the jammies, I thought it might be a good idea to pop into the spare room to fetch some bleach stored in there, and scrape my chin on the storage box edge. Fall forwards and grab the nearest thing to stop the fall onto the brolly I’d left open to dry the other day and got entangled in it. Thus, ending its short but useful life. Hahaha! Luckily it was the cheap Pound Shop one.

Found some films to fall asleep watching.

TTFN each.

  1. Good to hear you were relatively free of ailments. The stab wound was your necessary sacred blood letting required for successfully assembling a shelf, but the scrapped shin was not good. Too bad the minced beef was bad. It does look decent in the photo. At least the bread and tater cakes were good.

    • No more blood letting, I’ve decided – it’s becoming addictive lately! Hehehe!
As for the meal, I do not know what went wrong for sure. It smelt and looked lovely – but tasted like… well, er… wet warm cardboard!
I think when I get some more food in tomorrow, I’ll stick to the beef in black bean sauce for a couple of days, surely that must be tasty. Or is it my taste-buds or innards? I’ll get some more potatoe cakes in later today methinks. Hehe!
Hope the animals are doing well in the rain?
      Cheers.
