2Tue040000hrs: I stirred this morning to find a distinct lack of confusion in my mind; I seemed concentrated much more than usual, the main theme going thought the grey-cells was the INR blood test being at 0750hrs! And, I must not forget this and get carried away doing anything else.

Of course, spotting the scribbled note, I’d left on the TV screen, helped. Hehe!

Detaching the body with the colossal midriff, was not easy, but I’ve had the job worse before. No ailments are playing up you see. Amazing, I know! Off for a wee-wee.

To the kitchen to do the Health Checks and take the medications.

2Tue02f

Every reading was still too high, but lower than of late. Does that make sense?

Off for another wee-wee… I’ll stop mentioning this now, take it as I had to go for one often throughout the day. Tsk!

2Tue03Confidently, I set off on an evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetle patrol. There were just three dead infant ones in the wet room. The kitchen produced only two dead infant bodies. The spare room, well, I can only blame myself for leaving a carrier bag on the floor with some crumbs in it. The carcasses looked old, though.

I still sprayed the bug killer around!

I set about sorting the updating and finishing off of the Monday blog. This took me around four hours, due to the inordinately large amount of photographs I took yesterday around town.

2Tue05Started on this post. Then off to get the ablutions done. Too early to take the bags to the chute. Made sure I had the paperwork and nibbles for the medical staff, and off down and out onto Chestnut Way.

Took this photograph of Winchester Court in the midst of the mist. Haha!

3Wed10 I got into to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Generaloberstesses Wardens Temporary HQ. WC, Willmott-Dixon workers breakfast and tea-break room. Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationalistic Area. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Crockery and pottery to be stolen from location, and residents porta-cabin. A few folks in there, one spoke to me, and I realised I had not got my hearing aids in. Back to the block and up to the apartment and got them in the earholes. Back down again. What a Meshugener, I am. I’m getting a mite fed-up with myself! Haha!

The chinwags were hard to come by this morning. I got the sense that my beloved neighbours were a little uptight? Doreen, Lynne and the Sturmscharführeress Wardens were okay, though. Said my farewells and off on the mini-hobble into Carrington. This is the route taken.

2Tue15a

P1030849On Winchester Street, I got an update on the Mystery Boots. They were a different position yet again. Hehe!

3Wed10 At this point, Hippy Hilda and Back-Pain Brenda both started giving me some gyp. A little early in the journey for my liking, but, there you go. I put on a brave face and continued on my way. 2Tue15b Sorry. I struggled on getting gloomier by the minute if you must know. Hehehe!

P1030850The next piece of Nottinghamian Street Art was in the Sherwood Vale, bus shelter.

Another Shaking Shaun affected photographicalisation I fear. The food and bottles, with the cigarette packet and nub-ends, really ought to go in the Tate gallery. The arranged chips under the seats, gave this Nottinghamian Street Art piece, a rounded appearance. What am I talking about!

P1030851

I took a snap of the corner bend on Winchester Street Hill. I think you can tell by the quality of the picture, that Shaking Shaun had joined in with Back-Pain-Brenda and Hippy Hilda in annoying me. Oy Vay! Still, overall the ailments were bearable at that moment, and I had no real bad

P1030852Down towards the main road, I came across some Nottinghamian Street Art provided for us by nature.

I looked closely as I passed these leaves, and there was what looked like a broken beer bottle underneath. I kicked it to the corner of the wall, in case someone caught themselves on it with their feet.

P1030853Onto Mansfield Road and up the hill towards Carrington.

I took this photo for Sister Jane and hubby Pete to see. They used to live in a flat in this house some years ago. About 1896 if I remember rightly. Hahaha!

The passageway led to a shed, where Pete kept his scooter and motorbike?

P1030854Up over the hill and down into Carrington, I saw this plant growing over some wooden fencing. I took the picture because it reminded me of Christmas.

Back-Pain-Brenda eased off going down the hill, Shaking Shaun was coming in short burst occasionally, usually when I was taking a photo. Tsk!

P1030855I felt a bit sorry for the motorists in the traffic queue trying to get into town at the Carrington lights.

I arrived at the surgery around 0720hrs, so I was in plenty of time.

I booked myself in and got the crossword book out. I was over the moon when it was Nurse Nichole who called me later.

Also, I remembered to mention a few of my concerns healthwise to her. She asked me to Email the Health Checks results to her for last and this week. We had a natter and a laugh, a good one too, cause the blood did not want to stop flowing today.

All done and sorted, I left some nibbles and departed. It was too early to use my bus pass and too early to go to the chemist for my prescriptions as well. Humph!

I called in the Lidl store and came out with milk, tomatoes, cooked chestnuts, Assam tea bags and some nibbles for the social hour box.

P1030857On my way walking back into Sherwood, I had not gone more than 100yds and was taking a photo of another failed business in the row of Carrington shops, and a Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist rode into my vision.

A young lad, hoodie over his face and on a decent looking bike, condition-wise. I could not help but think to myself “I wonder if he stole that?” He had the appearance of a Zombie, with dark black eyes. Needless to say, I said nothing to him.

P1030858A few hundred yards further along Mansfield Road and another Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist came at me at high speed.

I turned around and had to use the zoom on the camera to take this shot of him tearing along the footpath.

Naughty boy!

P1030859I kid you not, but a little further on near Church Drive another Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist came by me from behind, allowing only a foot or so between his bike and me as he did so.

The Swine!

P1030860It got worse, then! Yet another Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist was free-wheeling it down the hill towards me!

Of course, I wasn’t worried (Lie mode Adopted) as she gave me less room than the earlier one did!

P1030861Then, I’d still got the camera in my hand, a young girl appeared from around the chap in the photo, making him jump.

She must have been hidden behind him in the previous picture.

At least she had lights and bell on her handlebars. Not that she was using the ringer, though to warn folks.

What a little flurry of Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist! Hehehe!

P1030862Back-Pain-Brenda was a lot easier, Shaking Shaun was coming less often now, but Hippy Hilda (I forgot to mention her to Nurse Nichole, Huh!) was a little persistent!

The traffic to the City was not getting less dense.

Believe it or not, but Anne Gyna didn’t visit once… yet anyway.

P1030863The traffic jam in the town lane started to lengthen even further along, backed up over the hill.

I heard a horn being sounded and looked in the direction I thought it came from, but see no reason for the hooter to be sounded.

Maybe someone just got frustrated, or even saw someone they knew? But it didn’t sound like happy-horn-papping to me. Just think, somebody buys, say a VW Golf. (I looked up this price before making up the diary) At A starting MSRP of $20,910, oh, I’ll convert that to pounds… £16000.12 (Blimey are they that much nowadays, must be) and has to sit in a line for Gawn knows how long to get to work to earn enough to pay for the car! I bet its the same all over the place, though.

P1030864I got into Sherwood and started on the climb up Winchester Street Hill.

Surprisingly, Anne Gyna kept off, not bothering me in the least. This was actually worrying, welcome yes! But a little concernment about why. I wish that Hippy Hilda would do the same! Never happy am I? Huh!

5Fri11As I got to the last steep part of the hill, I noticed that the Nottinghamian Street Art from 3rd November, ‘The Meat Pie Carrier bag’ display Haha! Was still on show, a few yards further down the hill than the one (on the left) from last Saturday.

It had been retouched a little.

P1030865Todays updated artwork, (photograph on the right) had the now topless pies all upside down and out of the bag.

The last hundred yards was completed with a struggle. I got towards Chestnut Way, and the need for a wee-wee started to get more urgent.

P1030866I could have done without the vans and cars parking up on the pavement again! I struggled to get through with the bag. But, I can understand the driver’s problems. If they park correctly on the road, then the bus cannot get through? Hey-ho!

I called in the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights, Generaloberstesses Wardens Temporary HQ. WC, Willmott-Dixon workers breakfast and tea-break room. Sarcasm & Insult distribution area. Tenants Socialisationalistic Area. Telling Inchcock off Zone. Crockery and pottery to be stolen from location, and residents porta-cabin, to make use of the WC – but it was engaged. HAd a short natter with some of the residents in there waiting for the first bus.

Out and made my way quick as I could to the WC in the flat. As I limped along, I met Cyndy and Mary coming the other way. A little natter and laugh with them. Into the foyer and saw Olive in the laundry room, but dare not stop to talk to her, so need for the wee-wee now more significant than ever, I’m afraid. I waved to her and shot to the lift. It seemed to move very slowly. Hehehe! Got in, dropped everything and shot to the porcelain room.

Ahh, how satisfying to find I made it in time!

I had a wash, then put the purchases away. Did the Health Checks.

Got the computer on, and sent the INR Warfarin Anticoagulation and Health check-list for last week with this weeks to date, off to Nurse Nichole.

Made a start on updating this blog.

Brother in Law Pete sent a photo to go in today’s Inchcock. Here it is!

2Tue15c

P1030867I went to make a mug of tea, and had a look down from the unwanted needing more cleaning, light & view-blocking kitchen window, that I been given no keys for the locking safety mechanism, and only two for the four actual locks, and noticed these two birds in the lower field. Took this zoomed-in shot of them.

Then I went on Facebook to add the photographs to the albums.

2useGot the nosh prepared and served up.

Those chicken mini-sausages had garlic in them, but I enjoyed them all the same. Flavour Rating of 7.9/10 given.

Got the pots washed, did the lat Health Checks and medication taking.

Picked out some TV programmes to watch. Roughly here is what of them, I managed to stay awake to watch. Law & Order. 15 minutes of 2 hours. Heartbeat 10 minutes of 1 hour and a War Documentary 2 minutes of 1 hour. Hehe! Humph!

  1. I think you need to take a plastic sack with you, collect those boots, and start taking them around with you and do a photo series of them placed in different locations along your walks. It would be art worthy of the Met. Nurse Nichole! Oh boy. what a lucky man you are. You know ELP’s song “Lucky Man”? A version for you could go something like this:

    “Inchy has to hobble
    Nurse Nichole, quite a score.
    Walking on the sidewalks
    Pavement cyclists make him sore.

Ooooh! What a Lucky Man he is!
Ooooh! What a Lucky Man he is!

    White faced and leather
Dusty boots don’t look too bad
    Topless pies upside down
    Outside of the bag.

Ooooh! What a Lucky Man he is!
Ooooh! What a Lucky Man he is!”

I see you ran across a pavement cyclist in training. That traffic backup looks like what I have to deal with daily around here. At least seeing Nurse Nichole made up for a B– meal.

    • Hahaha! I might call it, ‘The Mucky Boots Meanderings’
What great lyrics, Tim. Had me in tucks! Hehehe!
No doubt about mate, Nure Nichole is a medicine to me!
So, you have to cope with the same jams then, sorry to hear that.
The trainee Pavement Cyclist had a scarily determined, threatening look on her little face!
Had accifauxpa this morning, along with many Whoopsiedangleplops already, and it is only 0345hrs! I think I’ll have a marathon hobble to talk to and feed the mallards… I mean the Anas platyrhynchos Anatidae Anseriformes Aves. Haha!
      Cheers.
