Welsh: Dydd Iau 9 Mai 2019

03:30hrs. Up out of the £300 second-hand c 1968 rusty recliner and of to the WC. Along with a cracking headache from yesterdays cut and tumble.

Water heater light still on, but no hot water?

wd 255.102.0 Not feeling too good at all, down and many various new pains. Tsk!

Back to the WC, another RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee).

Updated the Wednesday post and sent some stuff to Pinterest.

Back to the WC, another RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee).

wd 255.102.0 Made a brew and took the morning medications. The headache throbbing away, differently, this time on the left side, but the cut and bruise are on the right side?

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) again!

Tried to gather the thoughts and tasks for the day.

  1. Carer at around 07:00hrs to fit ankle-support.
  2. Amazon will be delivering some diabetic socks sometime today.
  3. I have to get to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights Flats, and Administration shed for the Generalleutnantess Wardens Temporary HQ, Sarcasm & Insult distribution area, Tenants Socialisation Shed. Rumourmongering Clinic. Telling Inchcock off Zone, Things like crockery and pottery to be stolen from, and residents room, to try and get some help with reporting the hot water not working.
  4. Drop some nibbles off for the Social Hour gathering, which yet again I will have to miss!
  5. Get in touch with the Haematology Anti-thrombosis Therapy team, to get the new Warfarin doses.
  6. Do the full Occupational Therapy exercises.
  7. Calm down and not feel so depressed. (It is terrible at the moment).
  8. Must stay in all day, for delivery, hopefully, a plumber to get the hot water going, visit or call from Mental Health nurse, etc.
  9. Take extra pain-killers. (Head and returning leg stiffness and soreness)
  10. Stay close to the WC. Tsk!
  11. Remember to take extra Senna to try and move the solids.
  12. Jump out if the balcony… Only joking, Hehe!

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again!

Went on TFZer Facebooking.

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again!

Got a wash and changed into the togs, got the sock-glide and Ankle-Support out ready for the carer to call.

wd 255.102.0 I got myself in a bit of a panic, searching for the wrist-alarm. Eventually finding it on my wrist! What an Eizel!

Doing things on auto-pilot now. I still keep thinking hot water is available from the tap. Saucepans of water on the stove on a low setting. Hope I don’t get the shakes again when using them, Phwert!

Made a brew and awaited the arrival of the carer.

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Tsk!

Carer arrived, and I explained how and why I was feeling a tad depressed. He fitted the Ankle-Support for me, told me to have a good day, and off he poddled.

I went on Coreldraw for a while, to do a template. Before going to try and see Julie to ask her to call the maintenance people for me, about the hot water not being on.

wd 255.102.0 08:40hrs. I used the walker-trolly, having loaded it with raffle prizes and nibbles for the Social Hour that I will have to miss yet again! Walked nice and steadily to the Nottingham City Homes, Winwood Heights Flats, and Administration shed for the Generalleutnantess Wardens Temporary HQ, Willmott-Dixon workers breakfast and tea-break room, Sarcasm & Insult distribution area, Tenants Socialisation Shed. Rumourmongering Clinic. Telling Inchcock off Zone, Things like crockery and pottery to be stolen from, and residents temporary hut. But it was still unopened. So I took a slow wander to the end of Chestnut Way and started back again.

Coming towards me I spotted Cyndy. She had a natter with John (That may be the wrong name, Tsk!) at the bus stop. Then I followed her, with her treats for the social hour crew. I explained about the hot water situation and that I had hoped to ask Julie if she could call for me. The hearing aids tubes being waxed up solid and stuck did not help. Bless her cotton socks, she whipped out her mobile and rang them for me straight away ♥. All sorted, it is on an emergency, and they will arrive sometime today, or night. I was thanking Cyndy for her help and noticed a white van going down the road through the window. The trailer wasn’t going through the window, I was looking through it… made a mess of that sentence, didn’t I? Tsk! I thought it might be the new diabetic socks being delivered.

wd 255.102.0 I chased after the van, which got delayed waiting for a works tractor, and caught up with the chap and asked him if the parcel was for number 72 – but it wasn’t, it was for number 62. Ah-well!

The rush with the trolley-walker about creased me – but I managed it. (Smug Mode Adopted!)

I met Doris as I was going into the flat. She couldn’t stop, cause she needed to see Robert the caretaker to get him to have another look at her gone haywire radiator settings.

Got in and to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Tsk!

Updating this diary, and a jolly decent electrician chap appeared to sort out the tripped water heater. We had a natter and laughed while he did it. He then showed me where a boost button was for the water heater. Pressing it, causes it to run for an hour. Brilliant, he gave it a press for me. It had tripped-out. About the fourth time, this has happened.

I then did some draughts on WordPress.

Sorted some bags of rubbish and took them to the chute.

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Tsk!

wd 255.102.0 I decided to catch the bus to Sherwood. What made me think of doing this with all the things on today’s list I’ve no idea. I got as far as the lift and thought; What are you doing pillock? The socks are being delivered today, and the IRN nurse is due? A brain freeze maybe? Tsk! Ay-yay-yay!

4Thu02Got the meal early today, I felt like I could eat some today. I got the balance right for once this time. Battered fish fingers, apple, and tomatoes, with some milk roll bread made into tomato sarnies, and a lemon mousse, but I didn’t eat the dessert and left some tomato slices and some apple, but not much. A filling nosh, all the same. Nice and tasty too.

Half-way through eating, Sister Jane rang. The line was terrible, but we had natter of sorts, bless her. Oh, I’m making my meals too big, and overeating bread, I think. Hahaha!

4Thu03aBack to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Double-Tsk!

15:40hrs, the doorbell rang out it’s Dusty Springfield “I only want to be with you” chime. It was the Diabetic socks, being delivered. Thanked the man and stored them away in the airing cupboard with the others.

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Double-and-a-half Tsks!

I fell asleep, and the nurse let herself in and woke me gently so as not to make me jump. (This didn’t work, Haha!).

As I walked her to the door after giving my blood. Well, she took it, haha!, I found a letter near the door. It was dated 24th April? I have an appointment with a Dr S K Raghunathan at the C-SKR2C Stroke medicine, located near the outpatients, on the North Corridor. N5, City. For Tuesday 25th June 2019 at 10:30hrs. I have to take with me: This letter – A list of medications including how much you take, and how often (I have no idea really?) – Glasses and hearing aids that I use – And an up to date mobile phone number. I added this date to the Google calendar. And I thought retirement and old age would mean peace and rest. Schmuck!

Back to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Treble-Tsks!

4Thu05I opted to nip down to the foyer and see if a washing machine was free to use, taking the stick and laundry bag with me. One was not in use, but only the device I have never used before was available. I noticed that Gruppenführeress and Ballerina Warden Julie was doing the Fire Alarm Testing with another lady, and she threw the clobber in the machine in seconds and got it going for me.

wd 255.102.0 The timer showed 20 minutes. I liked this, cause the clothing I was washing was from the Oaks Home and had only been worn once, I liked the idea of not waiting for too long.

I nipped outside in the drizzle, and by gum, it was nippy! I took some photographs of the complex from Chestnut Way.

4Thu08The new ceiling had had some new, I think, roof light openings.

I took it that they were not finished yet?

Another look at the machine, and it was 4 minutes left. So I hobbled in ready to move the togs to the dryer when the washer ended its cycle. I moved the stuff and got the dryer going, then out to the foyer and the crossword book.

4Thu08aI noticed Angela and Roy coming in from a taxi, and took this snap of them. A grand couple.

I asked if it was alright if I put their photograph on my blog and Angie agreed.

They both looked tired-out, bless them. I wished them well, as they went to get the lift up to their flat.

wd 255.102.0 Went to check on the dryness of the laundry in the dryer. It felt okay, so I started to take out the things to fold them, and found an odd sock! Humph! After a search, I found the missing sock still in the washing machine and rescued it!4Thu04

Packed the bag and off to the elevator. I couldn’t help but notice the mess that had been scratched on the reflective wall end. Huh!

I got in the flat, to the WC, for an RWPSWW (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying-Wee-Wee) yet again! Flipping heck. Tsk!

I put the wet sock on the clothes airer and stored the rest away.

I took the evening medications and made up next weeks dosage pots. Then made a brew, it was late, but I decided to catch up on this blog to save time in the morning. During which I had four visits to the WC for an RWPSWW. Getting ridiculous this Wee-weeing!

I realised that I had forgot to take off and wash the Ankle-Support. But it was far too late to get it done and dried now. Schlemiel!

  1. Your post is quite early today. Nice selfie in the lift. Looks like the skylight is not yet finished. Nice of Julie to get your washing going in short order. It looks cold, grey and wet in your photos. We had a cold wind this morning, but it’s warmed up this afternoon. Decent looking meal.

    • Morning, Tim.
Late night up for me last night, Sir, so I did the blog while I was up. Talking of up, the wee-wees changed to the power mode suddenly, and stayed that way for all night I had to get up and have eight of them… whoops, ninth coming! The Emergency Grey Bucket has been restored and well used.
      The skylight caught me eye.
A bit nippy again this morning. Gloomy with it. If you can send a little of your afternoon warmth this way, I’d appreciate it, mate. Hehe!
      Taketh care. Tim.
      Thanks for caring.
