03:05hrs. I woke, smiling to myself, the thoughts of a dream I’d had lingering, but slowly fading away. A cracker of a nocturnal phantasma, judging by what I could recall. I was on the balcony, and in from the flat, walked a lady of appealing features. Somehow or other, we were chatting and dancing away in what seemed a dancehall! Sometimes, although infrequently, dreams can be good, and this was one of them!

I moved in an effort to extract my plump, short, wobbly body from the second-hand, £300, c1968 recliner. I recognised and appreciated the lack of many of the ailments, that were not playing me up! Of course, the EQ had to let me know that this situation would not last for too long! It was right, as usual. Huh!

WD 0.0.0. I caught my balance, and off the few paces to the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-Wee Bucket). While I waited patiently for the surprising LLP (Long-Lasting-Powerfull) wee-wee to stop, I had a Mind-Maze-Medley of silly, futile, blood-curdling, daunting and unnerving thoughts attacked what little-bit of harmony I had gained from the supercalifragilisticexpialidociously enjoyable dream. What didn’t pass through the grey-cells while I was waiting for the longest-lasting ever wee-wee to end, would be easier to list than those that did! I was not sure if it was the physical effort, (although it did it all on its own), or the thoughts-storm, but I felt drained afterwards. Humph! (Drained, I wrote that without thinking, I should have typed worn-out. Haha!)

WD 0.0.0. I hobbled to the kitchen and got the kettle on. Then needed another wee-wee. Back to the bucket, and realised it was too full to risk using it again. So took it to the wet room and emptied and cleaned it, and used the WC. Which with this effort being of the PS (Persistent-Spraying) wee-wee mode, needed some cleaning up of the over-spray. Tsk! Al sorted, and off to the kitchen.

7Sun01WD 0.0.0.A2 I opened the new unwanted thick-framed, light & view-blocking kitchen window, to take a snap of the morning view. And had to rush a bit, as the rain poured in over me! Hehe! As I was taking the cap off of the milk carton (the finger-ends are becoming unaware of contact made again, now), I dropped the cap and nearly fell over the stick as the hand lost its grip at just the wrong time, as I was bending down to pick up the lid! Ah, well, mustn’t complain after yesterday’s far easier polyneuropathy-hassle day.

7Sun02Then got the kettle on and got the morning medications out ready. I still can’t get used to taking so few tablets now they have cut them down.

Got the health checks done. Another highly acceptable set of results. The temperature was a little low, but not much, at 34.5°c.

It was a far nippier this morning. So I took the tea to the computer and had a look at the forecast on Google.

7Sun07

So, rain all day, the temperature creeping up, and a chance of a storm. Mmm!

I created a graphic or two for today’s page-top and Thoughts, then began updating the Saturday blog. I make it sound so casual a thing, but it took me over two hours just to do the graphicalisationing (this included stopping for three wee-wees of varying types). And the fingers were beginning to dance about, then the shoulder joined in. Ah, well, at least the arm and leg are being calm for me. Duodenal Duncan, Shaking Shaun, Anne Gyna, Reflux Roger, Arthur Itis, Colin Cramps and Kevin Kidneypains are no bother. Even Back-Pain-Brenda too! Got things finished and posted off.

7Sun10Made a start on this post, and needed a leak. Another of the LLP (Long-Lasting-Powerfull) wee-wees. Then went to make another brew.

It was looking bleak outside! Mind you, it was a little bleak inside the flat, then! As I got the things needed out for making Josie’s nosh later, the fingers Axonotmesi inspired insensitivity, caused me to drop the spoon twice and the walking stick again! How I managed to take this photo, amazed me. I rested the camera on the ledge, and used the left hand only to take the shot! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

I opted to have a drink of the spring water instead of struggling to make a brew. As I returned to the computer, I opened the tatty-torn, moth-eaten curtains on the balcony, and the rain was really giving us some hammer! I took a shot of the view without opening a window of course. I value my fingers too much to keep opening the metal spring clip opener that needs pushing and pulling at the same time and has had a few chunks of my fingers already. I noticed that some poor devil was having their roof repaired or replaced, and did a zoomed-in photo of the house. I bet they have a few leaks!

7Sun16

7Sun11I got the ablutions tended to next, as it was nearly eight o’clock. The legs looked far improved and had lost a lot of water retention.

Did the teggies. Shaved without suffering any cuts. Showered without dropping the soap (Fair enough, I did drop the facecloth). Body sprayed.

To the kitchen. Olive oiled the ears. Made a brew, and went on the WordPress Reader section. Then onto CorelDraw, for another try to get some graphics done in advance. I haven’t much time, as I will soon have to get Josie’s meal preparation, to make sure it is ready for a midday delivery.

After another long, slowly productive session with the graphics, I prepared and delivered the meal. I explained about the cheesy potatoes, I may have put a bit too much butter in them, but they will go down smoothly. The balsamic vinegar in the peas and the types of tomatoes used. Josie was looking much betterer today.

7Sun34bBack to sort my nosh out. Peas in balsamic vinegar, gherkins, tomatoes, crispy edges of cheesy potato, franks and bacon juice chips (fries).

It was I fear, a failure, taste-wise. The Franks were uneatable after one slice was. I don’t know why, but they tasted a bit stale, so they went into the bin. The tomatoes were bland in the extreme. The gherkins, potato skin, peas, and chips were all eaten up, with a couple of slices of Milk loaf bread. Flavour Rating: (Of what I ate; 7/10 – the rest, 2/10).

Washed up and settled to watch a Creek DVD, until Josie returned the things, I stayed dressed. I don’t want to scare her. Hehe!

Josie returned the tray, plate and cutlery, all washed. We had a little natter. I was so glad when she said she enjoyed the nosh. I get pleasure from being able to do something for her.

Then I got the handwashing done. A little more effort required tonight, as I had put on a thick long-sleeved shirt, as it was a bit nippier today. Rinsing and ringing out took ages. I left the shirt hanging to dry, but it will take a while, to dry enough to put it on the airer, in the morning at earliest.

Settled to watch cat correction thingy programmes on TV. But only as an aid to getting to sleep, as I had seen this episode before. The mind churned: I realised that the urine sample would not be needed on tomorrows visit to the surgery, after all, got up and moved it from where I’d left it in view, back in the medical drawer. Got the list of things to mention to the Doctor put in sight.

I had a very odd and quirky wee-wee. No definition for this one yet, as it was the first time ever type. SWGSS (Short-Weak-Gently-Sprinkling-Spraying) wee-wee mode?

The mind toyed with what needs doing and the reasons why they will not get done. Tsk!

Zzzz!

  1. Supercalifragilisticexpialidociously fun dreams are the best. Seems like you skies are copying your wee wees in a way. That’s a really well arranged meal. It’s nice some of it was edible by your dual grading.

    • Haha! No dreams last night, I’d hoped for another female visiting me, but no!
My wee-wees (well the last three) have been rather reluctant, sprinkly affairs. I’ll mention it the quack later, not that she’ll be interested, of course. The list of things to mention is rather long. Haha!
I can reccomend putting n some balsamic vinegar in garden peas, lipsmackingly good!
      All the bestest, Sir.
