More out of it than with it today,
Ideas and plans just fall away daily,
Logic, eye-sight, and hearing fade away.
Dementia Doreen, the brains stowaway…
Is with me every second of every day!
Even when I have a brain scan or x-ray…
Even my hopes are in disarray…
Several times today… and this sounds eerie…
I’ve not been me, but looking at me!
Occasionally this happens, & seems like cajolery,
This scenario holds traces of insanity?
I question my own humanity…
Struggling with the catheter and my cecity,
Losing track, thoughts and memory…
Now the mind-medics say ‘encephalopathy’,
I’ll look that up when this blog has gone away,
Is that owt to do with my Peripheral Neuropathy?
Encephalopathy? It doesn’t mean a thing to me!
Hehehe!

Sorry, got a lot on today – up to the neck in it,
without the ability to get the jobs done.

First Wee-Colour Check.

2nd check. Not sure how I got the colour to look silver? Hehe!

The ankles were looking a lot betterer!

The urine colour also looks betterer!

Georges (Asda) delivered the dressing gowns.

The darned valve leaked again on the

Care Kara called, as did Carers… erm… Sam? and… Kara, Jo… maybe Josef… I’m guessing here… What a mess I’m in.

No idea now what happened for many hours. After Asda on the notepad, something about massage evacuation? A tumble? Lost memory, Mind blanks, and Bladder  problems, leaking?
Not with it at all, here, mates.

Found the George throw on the Carers chair.

Late evening nosh.
Veg; potatoes, vegan cheese and butter,
Did some baked spuds to add.
Think I enjoyed it.

Maybe got my head down earlier than usual.

Woke up in as said above ‘Agony!’ with leg cramps! Trenches and dips in both legs, the right one far worse.
After ten-minutes or so they died down, and I realised that the pouch needed emptying…
Oh, Dearie me!  acci-whoop I lost balance bending down to take the wire off of the valve – the wee splashed over the bucket… mostly on me!
Struggled to the recliner to get back upright, and first thing was to get to the wet room, to strip off and wash myself. During which, I dropped the bottle of disinfectant, and it landed…
On , on the exact spot where the nail had dug itself in! No doubt about it – I was pissed off…
I knocked a selection of the medications off of the floor cabinet… the last olive oil bottle shattered as it hit the floor! At least it missed my feet and toes! I suppose!
Back into the main room, and got disinfecting the carpet, threw my cloths in the laundry bag. I continued cursing as I got back down into the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner. But could I get back to sleep? No!

I lay there full of self pity. A pathetic site, it must have been.
I’ve not felt this low for… well, ever before.

    • Hi, Tiim, thanks.
Just how I like my oven cooked spuds, mate… burnt!
I looked (pointless really) on Amazon, and they had severak secind had Kodak Fujifilm FinePix S’s, second hand refurbished. But I reall don’t want tpo use them again if IU cam help it. I’m a bag of nerves when I ordered anything from them, cause the last three deliveries were left in the ground floor lobby! The complaints oages have to have one hte resons ticked, but nothing concerning unsafe deliveries – I’l hoping that Kara will help me to finish with them when she gets a chance. And maybe let them know why in the process?
Oh… foing the seasrch for the model, I found one second hand at £59.99, from Holland… when I saw the delivery was £65 it put me off. Hehehe!

There must be sometrhing I can send to you in thanks mate.

      Cheers.

      • Not a thing in return. Your daily dose of Inchy humor is good enough. Now that all our evaluators use iPads for photos, I have a bunch of those cameras. The one I sent you is pretty much brand new, so it should keep you in the photo business for a while.

  1. Cheers again, Tim.
Great to be able to take itwith me to record things at the hospitals, Sir.
Dosen’t look too complicated for me to get my head around, another good point!
    Keep safe, Sir.

  2. Yeah, Inchie humor is one excellent reason to stop by! I marvel at the meals you prepare for yourself. I personally enjoy the preparation but loath the clean-up. Consequently, I often opt out by making really simple meals that never include all the food groups. Naughty me!

    • Hi, Doug an furry.
I’m so with you on the likes of food preparing and washing up afterwards mate! ✓
I too occasionally (on a bad day), have canned tomatoes with something added, the vegan sausages are nice with basil added.
Or, a can of veg soup, add some peas, liquid smoke, basil or oregano, and some imitation bacon bits. Sourdough roll to dunk in it. Today, I’ve got some pork knuckle to have, with chips of potatoes and some fresh peas to go with it. A pot of soy lemon yoghurt – Grrreat!
Of course, how things go with the district nurse and the catheter removal and insertion of a new one, and the computer problems go, will decide if I do or not. Hahaha!
Might end up eating at gone 0200hrs again, with a pot noodle. With added gravy of course and some bread.
I’m getting hungry now after talking about this… Hehe!
Carer Kara just called to look at the computer – hopefully it might, possibly, mayhap be working properly. (Did that sound too confident, Doug?)
      Cheers mate.

      • And very nice sounding that is too, Doug!
        Computer still playing up, mate.
Carer KAra helped, but we keep finding other problems caused by whatever is was, when I open anything not opened since the intrusion.
Trying to get help from a Computer shop, is impossible here. Tsk!
        Cheers mate.
