What are these two TFZers up to?

INCHCOCK TODAY

Monday 1st March 2021

Croatian: Ponedjeljak 1 Ožujka 2021

00:45hrs: Woke requiring a wee-wee. Which has been something of a rarity this week. So, I delayed not and hauled my overly-stomached torso from the warmth and discomfort of the c1968 recliner, caught my balance, and hobbled over to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket).

What a struggle that was! A weak, trickling affair that caught me out with both PMD (Pre Micturition Dribble), and CMD (Cessational Micturition Dribble). A check on the NHS Urologist chart proved that the wee was in the number 6 status! Very Dehydrated? I thought I’d been keeping up with the spring-water guzzling too? I’d better make sure today that I take a lot of it in.

I went to make a brew of Glengettie to get me started drinking. Made a decent looking mugful and added the milk… but the milk had curdled a smidge. That was the Sainsbury’s Jersey full cream one too! Hey, ho! I opened a bottle of Cravendale full-milk and made another brew. I took the missed evening medications. Tsk!

As I was stirring it up well, the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived. Oh, dearie me! All the signs were that it was going be another Trotsky Terence dominated evacuation. And it was, but with a difference!

I hastened to the wet room and settled quickly on the seat (Not wanting the embarrassment like yesterday of any early escapages). To my astonishment, there was no movement at all; well, the gurgling was there in the innards. I got the crossword book out and began to use it… but only for a few seconds. The action started, as anticipated; it was a victory again for Trotsky Terence. Stinky-phoo, mostly liquids followed by a generous dollop of the gooey, sticky mass of faecal matter. I’ve never had such a chaotic, squishy evacuation as this one was!

Thank heavens I’d got the fresh TP rolls out ready after the nearly as onerous evacuation yesterday. Cleaning up took me a least ten-minutes, if not more. Then, the problem of getting the product to go away! I lost count of the times I had to refill the water tank. And I destroyed the wooden stick with so much prodding and poking of the congealed mass to encourage its eventual removal from the bowl! I felt exhausted after I’d finished!

I decided to take the morning medications with another Acute Diahorrea Relief Capsule. I hope this one might work.

The usually dependable, trustworthy, Chinese manufactured Boot’s Sphygmomanometer failed to work the first time again. But it did show that the SYS had tumbled from yesterdays high of 180 down to 149. The DIA was 80. and the PULSE a little high as 94bpm.

The made in Hong Kong Chinese Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer gave me a surprise. The body temperature had shot back up again? 37.5°c – 99.5°f, a bit over the top that was? Of course, I can’t get to talk to the Doctor about these readings, neither on the email or landline phone!

Lots of ambers and reds on the Excel record sheet now!

As I was starting the Sunday’s updating (I hate Sunday’s 👎), it dawned on me that I could hear the World Wide Hum! I could listen to the noise from above of the motor running? Jenny can hear that down on the 9th floor as well.

I got the updating finished and posted the diary to WordPress. Emailed the link. Pinterested a snap or two, then I went on Facebook catching-up. After which, I read and replied to some comments on WP. Next, I visited the WordPress Reader section.

Getting tired now. I went to make a brew, and I found that the morning had turned foggy, to put it mildly. Made a brew of Glengettie Gold.

Nearly time to get the ablutions sorted out. I was getting the watch and bands off of my wrists. I noticed the Warfarin alert band had been strangulating the arm. So that was what the itching was earlier, Hahaha!

I’d wondered, like.

I foolishly opted to divert and get some handwashing done before going to the ablutionary duties. I think it safe to say I got carried away somewhat with it this morning. I started off, doing the grey that should have been brown, Indian made, thin, cold, too long flimsy lounge pants, and a made in Pakistan Maroon zip-up jacket.

Got then done, wrung, rinsed and hung. The gear should be dry enough to wear by around mid-November or so. But I’d not finished yet, oh, no, when I go off on a tangential wandering, I do tend to get a smidge hypnotised with things.

Out came the mucked-up blue Pakistan Maroon zip-up jacket. And to long-sleeved t-shirts to get the Inchcock handwashing treatment as well. I must admit, this operation caused me more pain then the Porcelain Throne and wee-weeing put together earlier in the now freezing day. Colin Cramps kicked off, and I just knew that shaving was going to give me more agony later on. (Unfortunately, this was so!) EQ knew!

I got in the wet room and did the de-nasalising first, which went smoothly for once. The teeth cleaning left me with a little discomfort for some reason? I used the twin-bladed Bic razors for the first time. Which, with afterthoughts, may not have been such a good idea after all.

With the feet being hidden by the socks yesterday, I was surprised at my plates’ state. Both old ulcer scars seemed to be trying to make a comeback. And the tibial and spider veins were getting more prominent for the first time in months. Mind you, they were still more artistic than the idiot Andres’s pile of bricks at the Tate gallery looked!

The showering was an easy, almost accident-free session, to start with, anyway. There were no Dizzy Dennis visits and no banging or knocking into anything either, and Neuropathy Pete didn’t give me any right leg dances! Plenty of harmless dropsies suffered throughout the shaving and showering. I think I ought to have been given a medal, or a mention in despatches, for my heroism in using the… wait for it – Sock Glide! Smug-Mode-Adopted! Especially with my putting on the new extra-long f diabetic socks for the first time! I put these on partly due to the Weather forecast on Radio Nottingham for tonight -3°c, 26.6°f. The too-small Morrisons PPs were worn as well. They are not very good protection but do keep one warm, at least. As with the long mesh bamboo hosiery. Not cheap, but just worth the investment. I also noted the signs of water retention in this photo wot I took after the session.

I’m afraid I flaked-out after that. There was no sleep, just a horrible awakeness and frustration at not nodding off, despite the weariness I felt.

The door chimes rang, Josie was returning the things from her Sunday lunch. She liked the cheesy potatoes.

I settled again and just sort of hovered between wakefulness and sleep-mode – not actually attaining any nod offs, though. Eventually, hunger arrived, and I got a nosh prepared. A disappointing result, the peas and leeks were okay, mind. Taste-Rating: 2½/10!

The day-dreamings went on and on, but would sleep arrived? No! Sweet Morpheus denied me even a little shut-eye. After a horrible night, sort of dreaming but being awake, the need for the Porcelain Throne needs, and SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley) stirred me into action. Of a sort!

INCHCOCK TODAY DIARY

Saturday 27th February 2021

Mongolian: 2021 оны 2-р сарын 27-ны бямба гараг

00:30hrs:  I woke, in complete denial of moving, went into a slugabed mode and nodded off again. Repeatedly!

When I stirred for about the tenth time, it was 02:48hrs, and the need for the Porcelain Throne cruelly forced me into physical activity, Humph! Freeing my overly-stomached body from the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety-recliner, and catch my balance for walking, was a battle to get it done in time. The need for the evacuation was growing more urgent, and I moved as fast as possible, only just getting there on time!

Trotsky Terence yet again won the PTDDSB (Porcelain-Throne-Daily-Domination-Stakes-Battle). Poor old Constipation Konrad was annihilated! Almost 50% liquid, running droplets of red and brown, with streaks of white evacuated into the WC bowl! Messy, but not painful today, though! But the foul aroma produced did me no good, Eurgh!

Then the farcicalities started!

  • First, the cleaning of oneself must have taken a third of the toilet roll, and ten-minutes!
  • Then, the evacuated product was encouraged to go down into the sewer, which took three hand-fillings of the water tank and eight flushes to complete!
  • Then I found some of the ‘liquid’ had escaped earlier, and the PPs needed changing! That took effort, time and cost me £2 for the too-small substituted by Sainsbury’s PPs! They had to be used up!
  • I washed and then put some of the Harpic bleach White & Shine toilet cleaner with baking soda and lemon around the WC bowl. (I highly recommend this most effective, fresh-smelling product!)
  • Pleased the sorting out was done, I turned to leave the wet room… Oh, Dearie me! I hit the back of my right shoulder blade on the edge of the doorframe as I was leaving.
  • Of course, me being the brave, heroic, confident, none-whinging type of person I am, there was no cringing or sobbing involved. Ahem!

I made a brew and took the evening medications I’d forgot tot ake, with an extra pain-killer, and rubbed in some Phorpain Gel as far as I could reach, anyway. Then did the Health Checks. The body temperatures was a touch of anosmia, at a high 37.6°c – 99.68°f, in the red. I wasn’t caught out by this. I’ve a little fever and been shivering a little all morning. The Boots Sphygmomanometer readings were just fine, though. SYS 137. DIA 63, and the Pulse at 88.

I added the findings of the results to the now working again Excel chart. Apparently, the temperature has been high for a while now. Not that I can get to tell the Doctor, of course, or do something silly, like ask for advice.

I got the ridiculous idea of going out on the balcony to take a shot of the moon and the car park below Chestnut Walk. The car park one was not one of my better efforts… in fact, it was absolute crap!

The picture of the moon wasn’t up to much, either.

The worst thing was that the fever got worse, and I was going sweaty then freezing alternately. Ah, well, I can’t win them all! Well, any really!

The computer started alright the first time. And set to updating the Friday Diary, and I  got it finished in a decent time today.

I emailed the link, Pinterested some snaps, and at this stage, I was handicapped with Colin Cramps having a half-hour bash at the left hand and fingers! I had to stop typing altogether. He doesn’t usually attack like this during the day; night time is his standard attack time.

I took the opportunity to make another mug of Glengettie and take the belated morning medications with another pain killer to ease the shoulder’s pain. I had a couple of mini swiss rolls with the brew. Then I got some leeks cooking in the crock-pot.

I got involved in the Health Unlocked site, reading in my Anticoagulation pages.

I made a couple of comments and then joined the Peripheral Neuropathy Section and made a comment there. The lady answered very quickly. I’d told her of the after-effects of the AstraZeneca Vaccine. It’s nice to see how others cope with the problems they have that I can relate to, and offer a little support… and get some back, as well. ♥ I enjoyed an hour or so reading of others ailment. Nice break! And, I was beginning to feel a bit better in myself as well, at last! The shivering had stopped, and the shoulder was easing off. Yee-Haa!

I got the leeks from the crock-pot into a saucepan. Washed the dish-bowl and opened a can of Hubbard’s cheapo Chilli-con-Carne. I added it to the saucepan and out in the garden peas. Gravy seasoning, two vegetable Oxo cubes, and a beef flavour pot to the mix stirred it up well, put it on low heat, and a slash of Balsamic vinegar and a pinch of Roast Capsicum seasoning, and lastly, some passata with basil!

That was that; my evening nosh all planned! I’d got some of the Milk Roll bread left from last night to soak it up with. I’d have liked to risk using the Dynamite Chilli.

But I’m aware that things are not yet settled healthwise after the dangerous AstraZeneca vaccine from a week ago! Gawd, I fear having a second shot!

Ah, well, I must try to get some more graphics done to use later off onto CorelDrawing. I got three drawings done to use, and the weariness was dawning.

I was moving into ‘Kaput-Mode’. So got the Chilli meal prepped and served up.

Although it was tasty enough, it took a lot of eating for some reason. And I managed to get the things into the sink to soak and even started to watch an Auf Wiedersehen Pet episode, but blissfully I nodded off, and I slept for five hours!

Zulu: NgoLwesihlanu Ngomhlaka 29 Januwari 2021

01:40hrs: I’d been waking up all through the night on and off, the actual sleep obtained might have been two-hours; in a few minutes here and there mode. My body clock told was on target as I shone the torch at the clock.

I began to fumble my way out of the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly-beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety recliner, and as I was catching my balance, and eyeing up the distance to the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) I realised that I did not want, or need a wee-wee! Well, there’s a thing! It must be months since I’ve woken up and not had to go wee-weeing? Threw me out a bit at first. Hehehe!

Slightly non-plussed, I wandered into the kitchen and got the kettle on. Made a brew of Glengettie, and got the Health Checks gone. Things seemed all out of sync with me not wee-weeing, somehow.

The blood pressure was taken on the Boots Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China. The SYS at 169.

The Chinese made by Shenzhen Relee Electronic & Technology Co. Ltd, contactless thermometer, sold by Amazon, gave a satisfactory reading of 36.7°c and showing in the green.

I took the morning medications, musing over whether I’d missed taking the Furesomide earlier, and that was why I didn’t need a leak?

I limped to the computer, got it booted up, and the innards insisted that I visit the Porcelain Throne, so I did! A delay in the actions starting again, so I had a go at the crossword puzzle that I was struggling with yesterday – I’m still struggling with it now. Hehe!

Constipation Kondrad was a winner this morning, he thrashed Trotsky Terence easily. I’ve missed the pain of passing torpedos lately, but they were back now. Gruellingly slow and butt-clenchingly hurtful! Then the main motion was followed by a wee-wee, that was of the RTV (Reluctant Tinkling Variety. It took that long, I had another crack at the crossword! Still didn’t get a single answer though!

The fetched the bucket emptied cleaned it and sanitised contact areas in the wet room. Back to the main junk room, I thought how cold it was, then realised I’d got the new so-called, Warm & Comfortable lounge pants that were delivered yesterday, on.  I was not impressed.

I got the updating of the Thursday diary completed. The ailments were not too bad to me at all! Posted it off, and sent the email link. Then onto Facebook catching-up. Visited the WordPress Reader Section, and realised as I went to make a brew, all that work and time, and no more wee-weeing? Something amiss here?

I made the brew, taking this kitchen view photograph as the light was just beginning to break the darkness. I checked the incoming Emails, mostly unsolicited.

Found the Coronavirus local figures, new cases down a bit more, but they are still coming, so let’s hope for the bestest!

Time to get the ablutions sorted out. Off to the wet room.

Blooming marvellous session! From going in, to coming out, I had only seven dropsies! Yes! And, there was nae bother with the teeth-cleaning.  Just one cut shaving! Fair enough the showering let me down a bit; one clout of the head when I dropped the loofah, and a toe-stubbing against the trolley wheel. Nasty one!

However, overall, a smashing session! Smug-Mode Adopted!

I’d accrued some new pot-marks and spots again, though, to join the one on the head yesterday. Tsk!

I got the waste bags made up and added them to the ones already in the bag on the walker-guide. And off to the waste-room.

A deliveryman was taking a new cooker into one of the flats at the other end of the lobby. I got into the chute room and deposited the many bags down the funnel. Injury and Accifauxpas free, too!

Back to the apartment, and went on CorelDraw to try and make a few graphics up for the upcoming templates. Still, unfortunately, at this time, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters started to fail and return. Still, I got a few done, took me far to many hours, though.

I was feeling a little drained mentally already today. Not Good! Decided to have a read of the NCH Magazine.

This did not last long, due to my nodding off, and having a dream I could have done very well without suffering… Hehehe! Taken from notes scribbled when I woke up, not many actual memories. So some are as confusing to me as well. Still, I thought worth mentioning for the reminders’ humour content: I was in heaven in a massive queue of applicants at St Peter’s gate…

All dressed in white – People in pink arrived, with facemasks on… they were those not killed by the Coronavirus and were separated and sent down different passages…

I was taken in a blue bubble – and told because I was not in the EU at the time of my demise, I’d have to pay a surcharge to get into Heaven – then they put my life on a monitor screen, gave me a button, and told me to press it each time I felt I’d done anything that I think would have please the Lord, left me to it … The monitor exploded, and it reminded me of when the beef pastie blew-up the other day…

I was in a giant pie, slowly cooking, I could smell the chilli… As the flesh began to melt and fall off of the bones, oddly not bothering me… I woke up in a hospital bed of sorts, but I was chained in it, and electrified barbed-wire circled the cubicle? At the end of the ward, a nurse was sat behind a machine gun next, covering us all.

That is all I could decipher from my scribbled notes. (I had to guess at some words) It really annoyed me that I could not decipher the last sentence on the notepad. Humph!

I woke, in need of a rare-today, wee-wee. Wrote the notes, and had a weak-unwilling wee-wee.

I noticed how cold the new Amazon sold lounge pants were. I was a little disappointed. Be fine for Summer, I suppose, but not February.  Brrr! I bought these because they said Soft & Warm. Fibbers!

I discerned that the model they used had remarkable similarities to my physical attributes. (Ahem!) The only slight differences being; He is taller, younger, more muscular, flat-bellied, had hair on his head and chest, and was more attractive to women.

I got the meal prepped and served up—a little better this time. The minced beef was not so fatty. The meatballs were grand tasting, the potatoes okay, the last of the leeks and onion were tasty enough. I got the chilli-flavouring right for once, too. I defrosted the wholemeal deli rolls from the freezer to soak the gravy up, they were decent enough—flavour rating: 7/10.

Washed the saucepan and slow-cooker, and left the pots and cutlery to soak in the sink. Down in the recliner, and had the longest sleep, unfortunately, a broken-often one, that I’ve had for a while.

ZZZ!

Irksome Inchies Dairy, Thursday 28th January 2021

Thursday 28th January 2021

Welsh: Dydd Iau 28ain Ionawr 2021

00:30hrs: I woke, and spotted spots of blood on my bulbous, heavily ladened stomach, jammie-bottoms and the recliner arm? I got a tissue to wipe the wound, but it didn’t seem to want to stop bleeding. So, I dismounted the recliner to catch my balance.

The need for a wee-wee caused me to stop en route to the wet room, and I utilised the overnight bucket—a strong effort this morning, of the FBL (Forceful-Blasting-Lengthy) style. I cleaned the knuckle and applied some Germolene. The flow continued, so I had to use some Daktacort on it. That woke me up fully! Argh! But it worked, and the bleeding was stopped completely within a minute or so. It was a good healthy looking deep-red, mind you)

Then I got the jammies, and my red-spotted belly cleaned up. Wide awake now for sure! I got the kettle on, took the medications, and did the Health Checks. The body temperature was just fine again.

I took the morning medications.

Utilising the Boots Sphygmomanometer, manufactured by, ZDEAC (Zhongshan Daguan Electrical Appliance Company Ltd) in Guangdong, China, the SYS was down a bit on yesterdays reading, at 163.

I observed that the NCH (Nottingham City Homes) provided monitor, had better readings this morning. Humidity and Room Temperature both nearly in the Green!

I got into updating the Thursday, no, I mean the Wednesday blog. A few hours later, I’d got it finished and posted off. (Somehow, the photo I took of the terrible tasting meal, was lost into the ether from the SD card… again?) I Pinterested a couple of pictures. Then went on Facebooking. Then, I went on the WordPress Reader section – so few new posts came up. Is there a problem? I don’t like the idea of missing some of the blogs. Mmm!

Opened the WP comments, and lots had come in, I like that. I read and replied where I could.

A summoning of me to the Porcelain Throne came from the innards. I didn’t mess about, and made my way to the wet room – musing en route to myself; “What will this visit be like, a Trotsky Terence or Constipation Konrad victory? I got in and sat on the raised seat, and I felt that ‘things’ wanted to activate, but only ‘Phut-phuts’ of wind were managing to escape.

I grabbed the crossword book, in expectation of a struggle ahead. This crossword I was looking at was a lot harder than the others in this book. I’d been stuck on it for days. I got one answer, and I felt hopeful about this, leading to more success, but no!

The motion moved, and a massive ‘never passed one as big in my life’, proceeded to escape. Very little pain, or even discomfort, only at the beginning, not messy, Harold’s Haemorrhoids were not too bothered by the monstrosity and no bleeding from anywhere! 👍 👎 But the sheer volume of the single super-sized, torpedo-shaped evacuated product, convince me that I would have to flush the tank a few times to get in down the tube. I wasn’t wrong! After a couple of refills of the tank and five or six flushes, it was cleared. Phew! I felt all worn out by the time I’d got it sorted, antisepticated the contact surfaces and washed my hands.

04:00hrs: This calls for a good fresh brew of Glengettie. Off to the kitchenette.

I noticed it was not raining, and decided to take a couple of photographs to the left of the window.

The nest one, a view straight down onto the Chestnut Walk car park.

As I was taking the second picture, weirdly it was as if someone had just turned up the volume up on the dreaded ‘Hum’. Grrr! Wikipedia suggest the possible causes as; Mechanical Devices, Tinnitus, Spontaneous otoacoustic emissions, Jet stream, and Animals? One conspiracist blames the Russians, see the Hum Locations below. Hehe!

I got carried away and side-tracked there, sorry.

I got some mushrooms in the crock-pot, and added some Squid vinegar, chilli powder and sea salt, left them to marinate. I’ll turn them on later, providing I remember, of course!

Made a brew of Glengettie, and returned to the computer.

I opened the latest YourArea magazine to see if anything worthwhile mentioning was on it, and the Coronova figures.

Testing stations report said that: 496 People tested positive got Coronavirus in Nottinghamshire in the last 24 hours. It’s all very confusing, and not over yet!

I sorted a little brekkers for myself to nibble. Last of the pork & mushroom pâté, small tomatoes (salted), and the Milk Roll bread last.

Ablutions, next. Off to the wet room. The teeth cleaning was a bit painful, only three dropsies, though. But I’ve had worse.

👎 The shaving was annoying, I had a combined attack from the ailments. Those being, SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley) and NN (Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters), well three actually, who made sure the dropsies while shaving added up to at least ten! I got fed-up of bending down to retrieve the razor, BPB (Back-Pain-Brenda) stinging at me, and then literally involuntarily throwing the razor away again! The picker upperer was utilised after the third dropsies!

👍 A much easier showering session. No banging into anything, no dizzy spells, only a couple pf dropsies, and free of toe-stubbing – Yee-Haa!

The burn on the knuckle was weeping as I dried off, leaking a tiny bit of blood, but nowt serious. The Germoloiding of the piles stung a bit. The embrocating and rubbing in of the Phorpain on Arthur Itis’s knees and Cartilage Cathy went okayish.

The Daktacort application to the fungal lesion was as is usual, damned painful! But it had to be done with the bleeding yesterday. If I missed doing it and it started again overnight, I might be in a medical pickle again in the morning. I’m going to give it another go tonight before I settle down. I shudder at the thought of doing this ailment treatment.

As I was doing the deodorantisationing and looked in the mirror (Some I try to avoid, nowadays!) I spotted what assumed was a bit of fluff from the towel on the top of my head. I tried to pick it, nope, flicked at it, nope, no movement… ran the scrubbing brush over my dome to shift it… then realised it was not a bit of fluff. Hahaha! What is it is a mystery to me? Why and how would a spot appear within a few hours that was not there five hours ago? Mmm?

I just hope that it doesn’t spoil my young, masculine, attractive features that the ladies love so much… Oh, alright, sorry!

I went and sat on the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly-beige-coloured, uncomfortable, rusty, whiffy, not-working, uncomfortable,  rickety recliner, to enable me to use the long shoe-horn get the slippers on.

It was a bit of an awkward manoeuvre, but after some wriggling and fidgeting I got them on. Then felt the of lump underneath the thick quilt that I was sat upon… Oh, dearie me!

It was the wholemeal sliced loaf of bread I couldn’t find last night, Tsk! Nicely crunched up and reshaped now. Hehehe! It could happen to anyone… but maybe not?

I remembered the mushroom marinating (not than I’m sure mushrooms do marinate?), and I got the crock-pot turned on auto.

That is supposed to get it to boiling, then go a keep warm, I think.

I also noticed how my yarmulke was looking a little well worn. So I hand-washed it and hung it for a few weeks to dry, hanging over the sink’s side, on a strainer.

I did another hour or so on the updating of this blog. It was a grind, hard work and frustrating. SSS was the main culprit. Her attacks were all of short-duration but, persistent. I reckon I made more mistakes, and probably missed many them, more than I’ve done for ages.

At one time, as my arm jerked, I got a full screen come up, with warnings galore that I didn’t understand were about, but no option to do anything, Cancel – Close or the likes.

I closed down the internet, and opened it again… things seem to be working? Tsk! Then on CorelDraw, the programme closed of its own accord in the middle of me working on PNG graphic?

I left it a minute or two, and then I reopened CorelDraw, I’d lost all the work done and had to retitle the name to save it… more memory lost! Oh, dearie me!

I felt frustrated, fed-up, flustered, peed-off, het-up, ennuied, woebegone, demoralised, annoyed, stressed out and scunnered! Plumph!

Closed things down, silently cursed under my breath and forced my tired body and wearied mind to get the nosh sorted out and served up.

I’d hoped to share the grapes with Jenny, Doris and Frank, but now so glad I didn’t, needed the bad ones picking out before going on the plate. Eurgh! Still, I enjoyed the cold meal. Taste Rating was 7/10, but each grape had to be inspected before eating it – tow found with fur on them. I’m a lucky so-and-so!

I washed the pots, checked everything was off, lights, stove, faucets etc. and as I was about to go to the recliner to settle down (albeit early, even for me) to search for Sweet Morpheus. I heard a clunk coming from the hallway. It was the NCH Newsletter, and the ‘Lounge Pants’ from Amazon, via the Royal Mail.

I put the magazine on the ottoman, got into the pants and down into the recliner, and turned on the TV. The Thought-Storms invaded within seconds.

Once I dropped off into the land of kip, again I kept springing awake repeatedly, horrible night.

Swahili: Jumao tarehe 20 Januari 2021

00:25hrs: I came back to semi-consiousness, the first thought was of the Iceland delivery that is due, and will they send any bread this time?

As I glanced at the notepad, I did my best to read what I had written down lat night. But it was a forlorn hope, although I do seem to recall having a cracking headache as I got my head down?

Then, as is a regular occurrence, the instant, urgent need for a wee-wee arrived. And the diurnally battle to get my flubber-blubber-bellied body out of the second-hand, c1968 recliner, up onto my feet. This morning it was a relatively easy task. But the pains from Harold’s Haemorrhoids were as bad as they have been for many months. Caught my balance easily enough, and I wobbled over to the overnight-wee-wee-bucket.

Another record broke here, I reckon. I passed more in this one visit than ever before! It took me so long, I thought I’d never stop! I was baffled at how so much liquid could have come from the stomach. (Then again, confusedness does come to me so easily)

I went to get a bottle of the made-up spring-water and cordial, for there was a thirst-and-a-half on me this morning. I took this photo from the light & view-blocking window of the morning view. The wind was howling, yet I could still hear the ‘Hum’ as well? As I closed the window, the rain started to come down.

Heckithump! Back to the bucket for another wee-wee! Another marathon session. Not blasting, but I had no control over the flow, on and on it went again. Now, the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) needed emptying. A big bucket, it is too! I emptied and sanitised it, and washed the hands. I replaced it near the computer, cause it was obviously going to be needed again. Tsk!

I fetched the bottle and started the computer. I got the photos uploaded into CorelDraw, and titivated them top look a bit better than they did, which was not good.

Five minutes into doing this, and yet another incumbent wee-wee was needed. Not quite as long this one, but it started to hurt a bit towards the end, and for the first time, there was some PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling)

By the time I’d got the photos done, and in the WordPress gallery, the two-litre bottle of spring water had all been drunk! I washed my hands and went to make up and refill the bottle. I also spotted that the airlessness thingy, supplied by Nottingham City Homes, showed a temperature and humidity as both being in the green, only just, but this was far better than yesterday.

I pressed on with the WordPressing and got the Tuesday diary updated. Nicodemus and SSS were both being so kind to me… But of all ailments, Colin Cramps was giving me bother in the left-hand fingers. Usually (and regularly) he does this at night after I settle done in the c1968 recliner. But now he was having a ball with me, Gawd blimey, he was! I got the Phorpain gel, I and had a good rubbing in session. Of course, it doesn’t help ease the pain, but the doctors say the rubbing in helps? I realised I had not taken the morning medications yet, so I did along with an extra Zapain that the mystery tenant angel gave me.

The Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer, gave a much better reading this time. SYS down to 156. DIA to 81, and the Pulse at 82.

This was a pleasant change for me.

The Chinese made Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading was a little higher, at 37.3°c, but it was still with a been background colour, so it must be within range methinks.

Oh, dearie me! Back to the NWWB, and getting fed-up with it (Hehehe!), I had one more marathon session. This time, there was no PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribbling) or PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling). Another long session. Washed the hands, and noted that Harold’s Haemorrhoids were getting even more painful, why? I suppose it’s because I’m doing such a lot of sitting down at the computer?

While I was up, I made some waste bags and got them into the box on the three-wheeler walker in the hallway.

As I got on with the updating, I also noticed that warm, wet sensation from the rear end! Damnations, the haemorrhoids were bleeding! Off to the wet room, and cleaned and medicated Harold’s area. Got new PPs on (this is costing me a fortune!) Washed up and returned to the computerisationing.

Despite Harold, Colin and stopping for wee-wees (three-times!), I got the blog finished. Posted it off, Pinterested pictures, and Emailed the link. Did some Facebooking, and realised that I had not had a wee-wee for an hour? Not complaining, mind!

Then went on the WP comments. Next, the WordPress Reader section.

Made a brew of 99 tea, the first cuppa today. Then made a start on this post, but Colin Cramps is still playing me up, so, things will take a long time to get done… if at all!

Off to get the ablutions done, all but a shower that is. With the Iceland delivery due to come so early. I’ll get the shower later on. The toothache was baddish. Not a single cut shaving. Soon done, and out to the computer, oh, after making a mug of Glengettie.

I didn’t get far, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrives, and with the Iceland delivery that could arrive at any time – bad timing! I rushed things along as best I could – and believe it or not, the evacuation apart from painful, with pushing thing, was almost perfect. Not smelly, or messy. And cleared in one flush!

Back on the computer, and the wee-wee demands reignited. Humph! And this one was a marathon again! Colin Cramps was getting even worse now, so I had a look to see if any Codeines were in the pods. What a mess they were in! The spill cover was loose, and all this week’s medications are mixed up, some pods with two tablets in, and others with nine!

It’s not been a good day up to now, has it? As I thought this, EQ indicated it was going to get worse – he’s never wrong! My spirits sank, and the bottom lip started to protrude. Hehehe!

I got dressed properly, I and made another tasty brew of Glengettie tea.

The intercom sounded and lit up, aha, the Iceland deliveryman arrived. I let him in, and got my facemask on and waited at the front door for him. He put the bags through the door for me, and off he trotted with a can of rum in thanks.

As I was taking the carriers through to the kitchen, it dawned on me that there were only three of them? I was sure I ordered more than that.

But of course, I could have made mistakes on the order. It has been known for me to (not much!) Hehe! I looked at the email with the list of products. Oh, dearie me! A little short of the essentials today! EQ was right again!

Next, I decided to get the showering done, before starting on the CorelDrawing graphics. Then realised I’d not got my Yakult on, I’d left it in the wet room.

So, I trudged off to fetch it, as it was getting colder, or I was anyway. I foolishly thought that I’d coped wellish with today’s Whoopsiedangleplop, Hah!

Granglesknackersbuggerit!

I’d only left the hot water tap (faucet) running in the wetroom sink! The water was stone cold! And would not heat up until about 17:00hrs. So much for taking a shower, then!

Of course, this didn’t make me boiling mad at myself, start name-calling and insulting me, oh, no! self-hatred and loathing didn’t come into my mind at all. Depressed? Me? No!… This lying lark is not good! I was self-conscious about my repeated failures, memory blanks, inability to comprehend, and knowledge that things are not going to get better! I could have flooded the poor soul/s in the flat below! Just pure chance that the overflow coped with it, and although belatedly, I found out in time to avert a disaster. I got an acidy taste in the mouth, self-hatred, most likely.

I got some mushroom cooking in the crock-pot, added some Squid and malt vinegar, and sea salt. I was not concentrating as I did it, and dropped the salt pot. Somehow, it didn’t matter, at the moment.

I had a peep at the YourArea Emagazine, for updates to the Coronova locally and weather.

I forced myself to try CorelDrawing again, at least Colin Cramps was easing off at last, then remembered seeing an email from Jenny earlier, and opened it. I sent a reply. I hope they are doing alright down there in their flat. Jenny has Nora living with her while the lockdown is on, a wonderful gesture, the dear Doris appreciates it so much and deserves it.

Back to CorelDrawing at last. I got just one graphic done, sad innit?

The weariness fell as I got the nosh prepared. This meal was so easy to prepare, nowt hot, so no worries over the oven not working. It’s a shame that Iceland failed to deliver the other three packs of cooked meat and the bread, else I’d be able to make more easy meals, especially as I enjoyed this one so much. The taste-rating of 8/10 given.

Between eating, getting the pots washed and taking the evening medications, I needed three wee-wees! I prayed that they would not interrupt my sleep. Or even worse – any escapages would be suffered overnight! Please!

What a great, nights kip it turned out to be! ♥

I put a Die Hard, DVD,

I soon fell asleep and stayed wee-wee free!

I dreamed, but memories didn’t come back to me,

Had a straight five hours sleep, so you see,

I was just waking up, that spoilt my glee!

Mind you, then I needed another wee-wee!

Sunday 10th January 2021

Swedish: Söndag 10 januari 2021

00:45hrs: I was re-envigorated, (speaking loosely), back to life, with vague bits of flotsam and jetsam milling about in the brain, about the dream I’d been having. It was not enough to remember exactly what happened, but I knew I was underground, in caves possibly, and being pursued by an angry mob. That’s all, really… Oh, and I was young and fit!

A few moments later, getting my monolithic-sized stomached body free of the £300, second-hand, decrepit, c1968, rickety recliner, the need for the Porcelain Throne became apparent. And it grew more urgent by the second! My swaying, butt-gripping wobble to the wet room, (I could have qualified for entry into the Ministry of Funny Walks competition) with the addition of Balance-Loss-Leslie, must have been one of the most hilarious to look at, I’ve ever done.

The jammies and PPs were almost torn off in my haste, I landed on the plastic raised bog contraption with such a bang, and I was off-target a smidge. Harold’s Haemorrhoids paid the price! The evacuation started straight away, and it flowed, for a long time, but without any interruptions, or pain! Damned messy though, and heavy bleeding too, (I assume from the poor old piles taking a battering as I plonked my bum down?) A good bit of cleaning up had to be done again. No doubt about it, Trotsky Terence is making a comeback and won the DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle) for supremacy, over Constipation Konrad.

As I turned from the washbasin after medicating and cleaning, the adventitious right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance kicked-off, with a short but brutal flailing performance. Neuropathic Pete has been overdoing the dancing over the last few days. But this time, he caused me no injuries, I was lucky enough to be in the middle of the wet room, used the sink to hold onto, and I was too far away from anything lethal to knock into or against. Also, the attack only lasted about 30 seconds, so no falling over involved either. I could not help it.

Feeling a little perkier with my having a spot of good fortune, I got the Health Checks done, the terrible ‘Hum’ became louder, a lot louder suddenly? Humph! You can’t win ’em all!

The sphygmomanometer, made in China for Boot’s, knocked back mt Smug-Mode a bit, the SYS was right up to 183, and that was just after the evacuation involuntary right leg neuropathic dancing bout. But the pulse was still lower and fine.

My Hong Kong manufactured Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer reading, was fine again, at 36.9°c, and in the green. The urge for a brew of Glengettie was yielded to this morning, as the Terence Toothache, didn’t feel so tender. (I am a Fool!)

I got the kettle on, opened the light & view-blocking, hard to get at to clean, new kitchen window, to take a photo of the view. The Nikon camera was not working again, so I had to use the Canon, which is not very good at taking night pictures at all. I doctored this photo on CorelDraw, to make it a little lighter.

Back to the front room and got the computer on, the tea was cool enough now, so I took the medications with it, then got down to sorting the updating of yesterdays blog. I remembered to put the nurses visit who phoned and woke me last night to inform me, she’d be calling Monday, onto the Google calendar. Got the photos uploaded from the SD card, then worked on the updating. I got it done and posted it off. Emailed the link, then Pinterested some snaps, and went on the WP Reader.

A wee-wee, then I passed some involuntary wind and wound up on CorelDraw, to create a few thought graphics for the IT. I got three done, then it was time to get the ablutions done, so I will have time to get Josie’s meal done.

Things got ridden with Confusional Conrad while I was taking the shave and shower. All memories from here have moments of lucidity, and blank periods, only a few scribbled notes to work from, in the morning?

The ablutions were a complete blank.

Found this photo.

The waste bags were gone, so I assume I made some up and added them, to those in the box and took them to the chute.

Jane rang, rang back. Cooking Josie’s and made meals at the same time, for Josie and me.

Dropped a saucepan, and also I think my dinner bowl. I woke later in the recliner, with a sharp pain in my right hip, so I may have gone over at some stage.

Delivered Josie’s nosh, found photo’s I could not remember taking.

I felt more confused, but I just plodded on, I think. I recall getting some Iceland minced beef, the fatty so-called less than 5% fat packet I started last week and froze it.

Dizzy Dennis attacked regularly, and the weariness forced me to get my head down earlier than ever before.

Found this picture from the ablutioning.

Fell asleep in the chair, woke with the right Hippy Hilda in agony, and was not sure if the door chimes went or not in my sleepy haze. I investigated and found a bag from Jenny with pickled eggs and minced beef outside the door. Bless her.

I drifted into having no idea what I was doing at this stage. I was sure I’d forgotten something.

Shattered and discombobulated as I was, I could not get back to sleep for hours, and could not think clearly, which helped me cope with the sudden sanity-testing, over-active Thought-Storms.

I seem to recall that the minced beef Chilli con carne was fatty. Thank heavens Jenny has got me some better sort for the next CCC. Thanks, Jenny, I’ll get the money down to you after the nurses have been today (Monday). So kind of you.

Not sure if I’ve missed anything out, one of my worstest periods of blank incertitudes for a long time.

Indeterminate Inchy’s Friday 8th January 2021 diary

Hello, hello, what’s all this then? Hehehe!

……………………………………………………………..

Friday 8th January 2021

01:35hrs: I woke with a start, something, possibly a noise I imagine, has stirred me from my slumber – and it had to be investigated in case it was an alarm, something collapsing, or an alien invasion. Haha! I forced my ailing elephantine body form the recliner and had a wander around. But I found nowt suspicious, maybe I was dreaming of something, but I have no memories of having any nocturnal dreams?

Mind you, it has been known for me to have tiny bits of nightmares occasionally come back to me during the day. Of course, if there is not a notepad and pencil handy at the time, smatterings of the dream dissipate before I can get to record them on paper. I wonder if any of you out there have this problem?

Ah, well, at least it got me up and hobbling around. The toothache woke up simultaneously as I did (Ah, maybe that is what made me wake up suddenly?) I had the customary morning wee-wee, and it was a powerful one this time. With the teeth being so painful, no tea had an uncooled drink of spring water with a squirt of lime juice in it, I thought it would be less hurtful than hot tea – I was wrong! Tsk!

I put the computer on and got the camera card to upload last nights photographs to finish off the Thursday blog. The Microsoft Photo importer was not working, so I used CorelDraw to get to them on the external ‘F’ drive. Simple enough, it worked on the fourth attempt! Grugglekronks!

I pressed on, grinding away, cursing Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters when they let me down, and found time for the odd prayer for the toothache to ease off. Oh, and about five wee-wees, which had turned into the even weaker ones, but with pre and after dribbling! At long last, I got the blog down and posted.

The teeth were still too painful for me to risk a hot drink, despite my wanting one, the craving had to wait.

Into the kitchen to make a spring water bottle up, and took a photo of the lingering fog outside.

Back to Computer Cameron, and sent the email link off. Then Pinterested a couple of pictures, and onto Facebook updating, which took some time. Went on the WordPress Reader, and as I did, the oddest of noises was heard as it was today, like a metallic scuffling, crunching sound again. I ignored it, but I made a note of the time, it was 04:40hrs, seemed to be coming from above the flat?

Tim Price said about taking the Health Checks later on after I’d been to the Porcelain Throne, it might bring the HP down. As I thought this to myself, the need for the Throne arrived! Spot on time! Off to the wet room, I limped.

As I got myself seated, the urge and need to evacuate seemed tp lose interest completely? I got the crossword book out, and…

Finished a Crossword Puzzle! Swank & Smug Modes Adopted! Admittedly, there were only about five clues left to get, but I’d been trying for ages, today, I solved them all bar one I had to cheat on. But at least I don’t think I would ever have got the answer. So quickly, in five to ten minutes or so. That cheered me up, I’ve been doing that puzzle for months determined to get it done, shame about that one clue, Tsk!

The torpedo suddenly started escaping, massive it was again, messy as well, but that didn’t matter to me, the lack of any pain at all was a morale boost! Honestly!

I began to whistle and hum songs to myself, as I was cleaning up, but as soon as I saw the TP, red, a deep red and lots of it – I went from joyous to jejune (I think tat’s the word, I’ll check it later), in a few seconds.

This did not look the usual colour from Haemorrhoid Harold’s clan, and it had run down the legs? But at the back of my mind, I think just perhaps with taking so many Paracetamol, thanks to the cock-up from Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the launderette and pub, near the Lidl store, not sending any Codeines – and the toothache making me eat Paracetamols like peanuts, this may be affecting the blood. Cause the INR level fell this last week, no, this last Monday. What am I rambling on about? Pass!

I took the medications and started the Health Checks. The SYS has at long last, come down a bit, to 159. Far better than the160’s and 180’s it’s been lately. The pulse had tumbled as well, from 92 down to only 72!

The 哈尔滨仙帝非接触式温度计, that’s the Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, (I asked Mr Google -Simplified Chinese) gave another good reading in the green, of 36.8¨c.

So, all in all, there were pluses and minuses today, up to now. Collectively, for the most part, with everything taken into account, by and large, and weighed-up, at the end of the day; taking into consideration that I’m not fully in control of the mind this morning, the apatheticness, of which I am renowned for,  and the toothache, I’d better ring the Doctor. Hehehe!

I decided to see what was available for me to gormandise on, for brekkers. The Chicken and cheese pasty, that Iceland had substituted for the beef pasty, ly there in the fridge, dried, curled up puff pastry leaving crumbs all over the moment I touched it, tempted me. That’s all I had, just the pasty.

I got it in the oven heating up, went for a wee-wee, and heard the metal scraping noise again? I plodded out of the door to listen where it was coming from, but it stopped. A mystery this is. I wonder if anyone else has heard it?

I got the chicken pasty out and not a plastic plate wit high edges (to catch the crumbs), and returned to the computer, so I could eat the nosh with the plate in an open drawer while typing this blog. You’ve got to admit, I sure do get some stupid ideas!

And all credit to Iceland, their substitutions are slowly getting as bad as Morrisons and Sainsbury’s. Obviously, that was a joke, no other shop could ever be as bad as that pair of substitutionally-insane stores. However, they did manage to sell a short-dated, split packaged, foul-tasting, sickening crap, chicken Pastie, that no doubt they would have had to throw away – I can’t imagine anyone buying another one once they have tasted their first one! Of course, poor old sods like me who can’t get out to buy any food can be sent them in their order as a substitute… I’ve just proved that… Spit!  Mind you. I ate it all, didn’t I? All four-ounces of it!

Ablutionisationing time arrived later today. The right leg had lost a lot of fluid content, was still pale, Clopidogrel marks were returning. The old ankle ulcer was getting a smidge, more colourful methinks. A new, mark or two developing. The Throne evacuation was messy, but not soft. If that makes sense. But virtually pain-free.

Hours spent on doing this blog, until, the sudden arrival of hunger!

I dug out the last part-pack of chips from the freezer, opened a tin of boczek and peas, and sliced a few tomatoes for a nosh. And a pot of lemon mousse.

Apart from the chips, that were terrible, the tomatoes being bitter, and the boczek being terribly fatty, the peas and lemon dessert,  tasted alright. Flavour-rating; 3/10, shame that!

I can’t recall owt after that, but I woke up in the recliner later.

TFZer Battles the Virus!

Thursday 7th January 2021

Macedonia: Четврток, 7 Jануари 2021 година

23:55hrs: I stirred back into imitation life, passed the seemingly regulatory blast of wind as the innards rumbled away. Up and out of the recliner with little difficulty, this morning, caught my balance and passed an FBL (Forceful-Blasting-Lengthy) style wee-wee in the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket), and off to the kitchen to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

Moving with such ease that it almost had me worried?

I got the kettle on and took a photograph of the morning view, from the light & view-blocking new kitchenette windows.

As I was closing the window, the ailment free start to the day soon ended—the adventitious right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance kicked-off. I think I may have dented the cupboard door with my right patella as it slammed into the door a couple of times! It was only a short fling, but was enough to leave me with BPB (Back-Pain-Brenda) and CKC (Cathy’s-Knee-Cartilage) giving me some gip! When I made and took the first sip of tea, the toothache started as well!

Judging by the warm wet sensation in the PPs, I think that Little Inches fungal lesion had been pulled in the dance and was bleeding. Off to the wet room, to find this was so. Ten minutes, and much discomfort later, I’d cleaned things, washed and medicated and got fresh PPs on. I was a smidge more unoptimistic for the day, now!

I got the computer booted up to load last nights photos, and the summoning to the Porcelain Throne arrived, so back to the wet room. (The most used room this morning, Haha!)

Oh my, oh my, and Wowser! I settled, and with no signs of any movement, I got the crossword book out, I’d got one answer written in, and the evacuation began, with little effort from me. A big torpedo again, yet amazingly. No pain and no bleeding! Damned messy though! Cleaned up (again) and back to the computer.

The tea had gone cold of course, so off to make another one, Co-op 99 this time. I did the Health Checks while waiting for the water to boil. The sphygmomanometer results were not good. SYS up to 181 and the pulse up to 92! I’d hoped things were getting better with the SYS, the last few were 162, 168, 167 and now this, 181? Tsk!

The Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer gave a better reading of 36.8°c and was back in the green waiting range colour.

The tea had gone cold again, so off to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana. I saw the Morrison substituted can of chilli-con-carne, and pondered on what to have for my nosh later on. The Stagg and a tin of beans of some sort, I’ve plenty to choose from bean-wise. Might add some tomatoes, onions and make a drop of gravy to go in as well. Then again, knowing my dithering, dilly-dallying and tergiversation, it may be something else I decide on by the time I’m ready to start the cooking?

I got back to the computer and started updating the Wednesday post. But drinking the tea was just too painful with the toothache.

Got the post finished in a couple of hours. Some odd noises while I was doing it, from somewhere above the flat? Hard to describe, though. A sort of rattling come tap-tapping sound? And the flaming ‘Hum’ was slowly getting so much louder.

I posted off the blog. Emailed the link, Pinterested some snaps, and went on Facebooking catch-up.

I went on the CorelDraw and used the photo that Brother-in-law Pete had emailed about his hair growing and him being in remission (Marvellous!), to make a humour graphic. I hope he likes it and gets a laugh from it. Hahaha! Well done, Pete!

Carried on with the Facebooking. Then went on the WordPress Reader, ended up sorting and answering the comments.

Several more wee-wees was taken, but they had, just like yesterday, have gone down to the weak WUNT (Weak-Unwilling-Negligible-Trickling) style.

As I got up to have another wee, BPB and CC were both still protesting about the earlier involuntary right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, in no uncertain terms. By hurting, a lot! Hahaha!

Spotted a card had come through the letterbox. Royal Mail seems I have a parcel at their depot, they can’t deliver it cause there is some money to pay to cover short postage. Is this a con-job? Mmm!

I’ll ask someone what they think if I ever get to see anyone.

The fog and mist were freezing, as I opened the window to try to take some snaps of the weather wintery weather, well, it is January. (See how quick I was there? Haha)

I looked further into what to dine on today. And got the meal prepped, far too early in the day, but I carried on with it. I opened the can of Kala Chana beans, drained them and tasted some of them. They were okay tastewise and soft enough to risk with the damned toothache.

That’s the toothache that the dentist told me, is nothing to worry about! Nothing for her to worry about maybe! Swine!

I put some mixed Oxo in with the beans and got them into the saucepan. (That’ll be the one I burnt, last night) Sliced some tomatoes and onions, and I added them to the pan and gave everything a joy-good stirring up, all ready to just warm up later. What, do yer think? I do hope it comes out alright.

Well, on the last template now. So I need to get at least one made up for tomorrow. So, I had to make some graphics up. Onto CorelDraw and did so. A long job. Got the needed graphics finished at long last. Making the templates is another long job, but that will have to wait until I get the ablutions sorted out. Back in a bit, I hope!

I’m back. Everything,  (well, not BPB or Toothache Thomas, but other than these) went spiffingly, ablution-wise. My recently acquired acrasia was all calm for once. Why? I’ve no idea! The total dropsies were only about half-a-dozen. Not a single Balance-Brain, or Dizzy Dennis attack! Only two tiny cuts shaving! After drying off without incident, and medicationalisationing so comfortably, I was tempted to hang on in the wet room for a while for some calamity to happen, I felt it must come, but it didn’t. Hehehe!

I set about getting the templates started. And boy, did take me a while. The template log looked like this when I started, just the actual templates to make up now I have all the graphics done and ready now.

No interruptions, I got belting at it… Seven hours later, I got it finished!

I kept checking on the CCC (Chilli-Con-Carne) in the saucepan as I put the heat back on. I tasted some, it was a little stong for me, but I liked it. The new beans seem to go well with all the other stuff I added to this aromatic, veritable nosh.

I took a couple more photographs of the evening view, to the accompaniment of Herberts, banging and scuffing.

Then I served up the meal and got the saucepan etc. washed quickly. As I mentioned earlier, it was a tad strong, but as I ate it, I began not to notice it so much. No bread was eaten with it, just a lemon dessert afterwards. The flavour rating given was 7.9/10, well praiseworthy. But, I kept spilling the liquid down my front and dirtying the quilt. Humph!

I got up and washed the things up. I was getting proper cold again in the flat. Well, it does if some idiot keeps opening the window to take photographs. Chuckle!

No Thought Storms again, as I settled in the c1968 recliner. Put theTV on, but didn’t see any of it, for Sweet Morpheus came so easily. Not surprising really, as it was three hours passed my usual head-down time.

The peace lasted for four hours then something, perhaps a noise of some sort (I think), had me springing awake. I had to do a search for the cause of whatever it was that disturbed my slumber, nothing found. By then, I’d stubbed my toe, walked into the door frame, and needed a wee-wee… Tsk! So, stayed up and got the updating done on this blog.

Inchy, the Innocent Idiot: Wednesday 6th January 2021

♥ TFZer, With the twinkling eyes! ♥

Wednesday 6th January 2021

Polish: Środa 6 Stycznia 2021 r

23:20hrs: It’s getting back to normal now; I woke up, involuntarily passed wind, and needed a wee-wee. Accompanied by the almost ever-present SSS (Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley), and near-agony from BPB (Back-Pain-Brenda).

Getting my humungously large bellied-body from the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, sickeningly-beige-coloured, not-working, uncomfortable, rusty, rickety, recliner, had its moments. I did the catching the balance motions a little differently, to try and avoid the pain from BPB, and ended up slumping back down in the seat, which annoyed Harold’s Haemorrhoids at a bit. On the bright side, I missed hitting the arms of the chair, or it could have been a lot worse. Tsk! Cartilage Cathy’s patella wasn’t happy with me, either!

I utilised the ONWWB (Overnight-Nocturnal-Wee-Wee Bucket) Cripes, what a difference, it was of the LPPPS (Long-Powerful-Persistent-Peeing) mode. I’ve not moved so much in many a month. No way could I have drunk that much since the last wee-wee, last night? It took me ages, but there was no PMAD (Post-Micturition-After Dribbling).

I adopted my investigative-mode to try to work out why I was running short on the Codeines. I decided that I must have identified the wee small tablets wrong, and I’d taken two Furesomide, which means I’ve missed either a beta-block or Codeine.  (The medications last month arrived without any inner lids, and they all fell out all over the place, and retrieving them was a nightmare, even worse the three tablets mentioned all looked the same to me), Glibblebonks!

I must remember to thank the super-efficient Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the pub, near the launderette and Lidl store, for their care, professionalism and compassion that they have shown to me.

I tackled the Health Checks next. Starting with the Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometerisationing. The Sys was down from 168 to 168 this time. Not a lot, but better than being up? The Pulse was down from 97, to 92.

The new Chinese made, Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer, showed a reading of 36.8°c. Which shows as being in the green, as acceptable! Compared to yesterdays reading of 37.5 in the red, it is a good one.

Took the medications, dubious as to what I was taking. I’ve had six wee-wees and two small mugs of tea up to now between all these activities. The wees seem to be getting weaker, and less volume, on each one.

I made another brew and took pictures of the view, through the disliked, hard to clean, light & view-blocking kitchen window. Look a tad eerie, don’t they?

These could possibly be used as a thriller, mystery or scary book cover. Hehe! I made a graphic for the diary top, then made another brew, had another wee-wee, and got on with updating yesterdays blog, which took an inordinately long time – but the result of a silver-lining search about this fact was that apart from SSS having a ball trying to dislocate the shoulder, the reason for my delay, was just a lack of concentration… again!

I stopped to make another brew of Glengettie, and had, wait for it, two wee-wees, one after the other?

Got the tea back to the computer, and pressed on and finally got the updating finished. (Phew, worra job that was!)

Made yet another mug of tea, Co-op 99 this time, and hard to believe, but I had another weaker wee-wee!

I posted the blog and email link off. Went on the WordPress reader. Then on Facebooking catch-up. Which I caught up with. Hehehe!

A wee-wee, and yet another mug of Glengettie. Took this photo, of the view, and decided to get the Ablutions done. After yet another wee-wee, that had now died down to a UTD (Unwilling-Trickling-Dribbling) variety. Which did surprise me a bit, cause I was still taking in too much tea!

The full-Monte today. And things went swimmingly on all fronts. (Which is surprising with me being a bad-luck lad, and an aquaphobic) No stubbed toes, no… I say, No shaving cuts! Fair does, Dizzy Dennis called on me a few times in the shower. But overall, a great session. Smug Mode Grade2 adopted! Anyway more good news, the plates and pions were looking fine!

As soon as I left the wet room, a (what proved to be a series of) involuntary right leg Peripheral Neuropathic Schuhplattler dances started. I was close to going over on two occasions as I recall. I clouted my hip on the edge of the doorframe. The shaking of the leg was on and off for about three hours after that. I’ve never had it last that long before. Still, it calmed down in the end, back to the odd little flutters and kicks, which look far worse than they are. Hey-Ho!

Then, back to the wet room, to medicate the areas in need, that for some reason I’d not done earlier. I took the clothes with me to change into after the medicationalisationing was done. And the landline rang and flashed!

Jane and Pete, Jig-Saw Puzzlers supreme

It was Sister Jane, she said she’d ring back and give me time to get dried and dressed. Bless her. We had a great natter when she rang back. I learnt a lot from it; I’m eating too much and the wrong food, should not have Squid sauce with anything but fish, and other gems. Hehehe!

Pete was at the City hospital to get his test results from his second bone marrow testing. He deserves a bit of luck, just for how he’s handled things since the Big C was diagnosed.

The left arm was getting attention from Colin Cramps, we were on the phone that long. I foolishly changed to the right hand, but SSS’s cunningly sudden attack made me drop the phone despite taking care! I banged the right knee trying to catch the handset, and then I had Cartilage Cathy to contend with, Tsk! We still nattered on, though, I was enjoying it. Until the pain of holding the phone with the bent arm, got too much. She was expecting Pete to return soon, and we agreed to give up our repartee.

I made up some waste bags and took them to the rubbish chute. Returned and getting the three-wheeler in the flat, backwards cause it’s usually easier, I caught my ankle bone against the door edge. I recall saying something like, “Well, blow me!”, as I laughed off the incident, as the right leg went into a mini-dance routine, and I hit my toe against the bottom panel. Luckily, me being a heroic man of phenomenal bravery, I was not bothered in the least bit, of course! Ahem!

I stopped crying, as the door chimes rang forth with Dusty Springfields tune to “♫I only want to be with you!♫

It was ILC, Desktop dancer and Warden, Obergruppenfürheress Deana. I asked her if she could ring the Chemist or Doctor’s for me, to get the prescriptions back into packets and not the pill-pods, I know it will mean more struggling for me to make up my own dosage pots, but at least I won’t be running short of medication missed off by the super-efficient Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, next to the pub, near the launderette and Lidl store, and have no lids to allow the tablets to spill all over the place and get lost! Deana told me it was time to take down the Christmas cards, so I did. I took this photo earlier to remind me to ask her, cunning, eh?

I forced her to take some New Year pressies, and she told me to remind her to ring the chemist – Hahaha! Me? Remember?

I rang Jenny and forgot why I was calling her! She had ordered me some minced beef, tp be delivered Sunday afternoon, bless her. I’m sure she will not wake me if they come after 15:00hrs, I can fetch them on Monday morning, I hope. I bothered her to help because the Iceland ones are not very nice, and despite claiming less than 10% fat, looked greasy to me when cooked, a lot of colouring went into the grinder with the meat and fat.

Well shattered now, I’ll try again to make a meal that I can eat all of.

I burnt the peas, made a right mess of the saucepan, and spent ages soaking and cleaning it. Tsk!

I was originally, going to have a steak slice,  but I had to make do with the Morrison substituted chicken and bacon pie. Didn’t find or taste any bacon in it, mind. The Leicester cheesy potatoes came out alright. The Spanish tomatoes were not too bad for once. The specially-burnt garden peas tasted fine! And, the lemon dessert went down a treat.

All in all, a flavour rating of 7/10, I think the taste buds are reactivating, perhaps, maybe, possibly.

I got the pots washed, and finally got the saucepan cleared of the black bits. Good and early, I got down in the c1968 second-hand recliner and got the TV on, Law & Order programmes to watch.

The first one, I must have nodded-off eight or nine times at least, but only for a few seconds or minutes each time. I decided to give up on the telly, and get my head down properly…

Not only did I not have any Thought-Storms, but I drifted off quickly, and the best bit… I stayed in the land of slumber for five-uninterrupted hours! Grrreat!

Sadly Missed!

Monday 4th January 2021

Icelandic: Mánudaginn 4 Lanúar 2021

01:35hrs: In slow motion this morning, the gradual renewal of consciousness arrived, with the brain working straight away! Not very well, a little confused, but activated! Facts, worries, fears etc. soon started milling about in my poor battered mind. Yes, it was a Thought-Storm!

As the toothache got peskier with me, I realised I’d had six-hours-kip! Albeit fragmented, the total was the longest for many weeks. The lack of taste, coughing, and then the blasted-loud ‘Hum’ came to mind. Luckily, the need for the traditional early-waking-wee-wee arrived to break the thoughts.

Disentangling myself from the grotty, £300, second-hand, c1968, unsteady, not-working, incommodious, sickenly beige-coloured, haemorrhoid-testing recliner, was far easier for some reason… oh yes, the urgent need for the wee-wee possibly? Another half-hearted effort, of the UTD (Unwilling-Trickling-Dribbling) variety, this time with a lot of annoying PMAD (Post-Micturition After-Dribble).

I went to the wet room to clean things up, giving the door frame a fair whack on the way in. I may have muttered something along the lines of “Well, fancy that!”

Not the slightest desire for a mug of tea, that worried me a bit. I got the made in China Chinese made Harpin Xian Di contactless thermometer used. And got a fair result at 36.3°c, a bit down on yesterdays 36.6°c, but it did feel colder all around this morning, Brrr!

The £38.99 Boot’s made in China Sphygmomanometer readings showing that the SYS at 162, was the same as yesterday. If I remember right. Still a smidge high, but it always has been for months now. The annoying thing is that whenever a medical professional takes the BP, the Sys is around 145? Even doing so with the same machine!

A new pain, just under the left nipple on my chest, started up. I don’t think it’s Duodenal Donald or Anne Gyna? The End is Nigh! Well, hopefully, not. Hehehe!

As I was about to start the blog updating, I needed to divert to the Porcelain Throne, which I did. There felt like no rush, though, as it proved when I got down on the Throne. The indications were that the DESB (Daily-Evacuation-Stakes-Battle) between Trotsky Terence and Constipation Konrad, was going to be a different result this time, a victory for Constipation Konrad. And it was! After the torpedo had wedged itself solid, getting the motion started, I needed a lot of effort and input. It took ages before it began moving again. The pain was maybe on a 5/10 on the agony-scale, so not too bad. Not messy at all, solid and the largest dollop that flushing three times failed to clear away!

I added some bleach, toilet cleaner and the last of the sink-unblocker liquid then poked a stick down into the water, left it a few minutes and tried a fourth time at flushing… Nope, it didn’t have it!

I put more bleach in (and got the rear end cleaned, there were just a few blood spots). After each flush, I refilled the tank with the jugs of water from the sink, to hasten the process. I lost count of how man times I refilled and reflushed the tank, and eventually, it looked alright, but I had no confidence and would check it later. Writing this reminded me, and I went to have a look!

Shit! The evacuated product is back up in the bowl again! Another hour lost, unplugging, refilling, flushing, and still, I’m not sure it’s all gone. I’ll leave it, and keep an eye on it, not that I can much more, while I get the ablutions done. Retirement they call it, huh! Never been busier!

I got the blog finished, emailed the link, went on Facebooking, then the WP Reader. I was getting a tad confused at this time.

I turned off the computer to cool down and got the ablutions seen too. The Blood nurse is coming anytime after 08:00hrs. But, yet again, my woolliness, tergiversation of mind activated, and I ended up hand-washing the maroon zip-up jacket, instead. But not before taking this photo of the moon. Tsk! More indecisiveness to the fore! I suppose as a shilly-shallying persons go, I must be the cream? Hehehe!

Blimus O’Reilly, and Dangnationables! I got in the wet room, and the evacuated content was coming back up into the toilet bowl again! I spent even longer than the last time trying to clear things! I got the stick to try to reach and break up the torpedo again, the stick broke. Flushed and refilled the tank several times, to many to count, put bleach down it, toilet cleaner, disinfectant, more bleach, and still it kept coming back up!

Many more flushes and tank refills later, I’d tried the last of the drain unblocker and put mould removal in as well! I’m praying it will keep clear this time, but the water keeps turning a light brown after a minute or so of flushing! I’m fed up with it now! Sulking-Mode engaged!

At last, I got the ablutions started: No showering, it’s too early for that with the noise. The session was off to a bad start, as the toothache was worsened by the Detox toothpaste cleaning. Dropsies three.

Aha, bit if good luck with this. Fair enough there were five or six dropsies, but there were only the two cuts! The medicating went well also, no complaints, and only three dropsies!

As I was getting the new PPs on, I lost balance; but I did not go down this time. Luckily I fell towards the door, which very unfortunately set of SSS with her shoulder-shuddering. Yer, can’t win ’em all!

Then, I noticed the colour of the water in the toilet bowl. Scrapbongles! Brown! So, I flushed and refilled a few times, no success. I had a go at poking with another stick, without any luck. A damned good job I had plenty of bleach in, cause I poured a full bottle in, and left it to hopefully work, while I got dressed.

Back to have a look, reflushed and refilled the tank, and waited. I’m still not sure it worked, but at that moment it was almost clear. I can get depressed, you know!

I took this shot with the Canon camera. Then put the kettle on, it’s about time I tried a mug of Glengettie.

More out of habit than really needing or wanting one. The taste-buds going on strike is a puzzle to me. Back to the computer, and booted it up, and downloaded some photographs. Not that the Microsoft Photo thing was working again. I’ve found that when the One-Drive photo thing refuses to recognise the SD card, if I go on CoralDraw, and import, sometimes the F-Drive comes up, and I load from there, as it was today. If I leave the SD card in the drive, sometimes, anything from 2 minutes to an hour later, the One-Drive crap opens and reads the card? Farcical!

As I was uploading the pictures, the intercom flashed. It was the Vampir Nurse, bless her, Caroline; I think her name is. I pressed the admit button, and the gal was up and in the door within two minutes!

A nice natured gal. She did not mess about getting the blood taken, but she had the nouse to chinwag while doing it.

This was marvellous for me, after seeing nobody, and going chinwagless for several days now. Apart from Josie, of course. Who, I am the proud Sunday Chef for, and someone for her to wake up nearly every week. Haha! Bless her!

Caroline soon had me sorted out, and with a part-armful of blood, she went to leave. But I wasn’t having her go without a treat of a can of plonk of her choice. Being her first port-of-call so as to put it, I could understand her rushing a bit, to try and make a good start to the day.

I took the belated morning medications and back on the computer to update this blog.

Doing the pleasing job of CorelDraw graphics was still needed, so I had a quick look at the comments and then got on with it. Three hours later, the wariness dawned, a bit later than usual – that’ll be because I was enjoying doing the graphics for the blog templates. Unfortunately, I still have some more to do yet. But I made progress with them.

Feeling not so bad now, I feel up to some chilli-con-carne, I’ll do some cobs in the oven to go with the CCC.

I’ll be back in the morning, or later this evening to update things. TTFNski.

Tuesday 01:30hrs: I’m back, updating.

I got the Chilli-Con-Carne can in the saucepan and added some Squid Sauce (Anchovy),  made some gravy and added it with the garden peas. O actually felt I could manage this, at last, I felt hungry again. I’ve not been sop desiderate over a meal in weeks, I just hope to eat it and enjoy it. It looked like it was well-eatable to me.

I put the rolls in the oven, to find one single one in there from yesterday, that had now been cooked twice. Haha! Ah. Well, at least I was still feeling hungry, but not for that cob, of course.

I got the meal served up in the basin and the cobs on the tray. Down in the recliner, put the TV on to watch, got ‘The Bunker’ showing on TV film on, and started to wallow in the food, and enjoy the film. Peace, contentment and satisfaction, great!

The landline light flashed, oh, dearie me, what timing. I fought my way out of the recliner without any Accifaupas and got to answer the phone in time before it rang off.

T’was the Doctors surgery receptionist, with the results of the INR test, and new dosages. The INR level was down to 1.7, and she checked that I had any loaded in-date,  Enoxaparin hypos in stock. I told her I had about eight 80mg needles in hand. (I’m not sure how I knew this but felt sure I was right I was wrong as it happens, Humph!) The patient nice receptionist gave me the new dosages for Warfarin.

Which was massively increased, considering the 1.7 level, I thought. Tonight 3, Tue 2.5, Wed 3, Thurs 2.5, Fri 2.5, Sat 3, Sun 2.5. And she will arrange a blood test for Monday, 12th January. The blood will be that thin, I anticipate Little Inchies fungal lesion, and Harold’s Haemorrhoids to be bleeding well after a couple of days. Maybe I could use the Warfarin intake as my main meal for a few days? Hehehe! I thanked the kind lady.

Putting these details on the calendar, I noted that someone from the DVT, Warfarin Anticoagulation team will be contacting me tomorrow? I can’t remember this being arranged, or happening? I made notes of the details of the call.

Back to the now gone cold, Chilli-con-carne, but I still ate it all up. Although the last session, I didn’t enjoy so much. Lost the plot in the film, turned it off, and put some radio music on instead.

Which I think helped me to nod-off. Cause I got five hours sleep in! Grrreat!
