Kept waking up throughout the night, I think I may have been having the same type of dream repeatedly? I kept trying to get up out of an old tin bath, and people would stop me. I’d found myself in a courtroom and I’d be charged with something (So annoying that I can’t remember what, though), and was fined astronomical amounts of cash, and be confined to the old bath and given an ASBO by a laughing judge with a beard every time?
0510hrs: I stirred and took the medications with an extra Senna, and tended to a WRHD session. NOT GOOD! Painful again, and Little Inchy’s lesion was bleeding once more after I’d gone weeks without this happening too! Damnations, I thought this had been sorted, Huh! Combined with my Memory Whoopsiedangleplops of recent, and depression set in.
For some reason, I found the view from the kitchen window this morning to be extra appealing?
Made a good strong brew and got the laptop on to update the diaries. Checked the emails. It seems I’m going to lose the frozen foods I’d got on order from Morrisons due to my own fault in going out and forgetting the delivery was due. Got to pay the delivery cost twice as well. As I say, no one but myself to blame!
Must remember the Morrisons delivery this time.
Did a bit of graphicationalisationing.
0800hrs: Ablutions tended to, dug out the Hydrocortisone cream and doctored Little Inchy and his lesion. Got the things for the bus trip to town, to put the tax man’s cheque in the bank and get another miniature Quiche Lorraine.
Back onto the laptop and CorelDraw graphicationalisationing, then the pleasant Morrison man arrived with the goods.
He put them in the kitchen for me.
I got them stored away.
Then got the jacket and bags and went to the bus stop with the jars for the bottle bank. Met Deana in the lift and she offered to take the jars for me as hse was passing. Nice!
I noticed a new instruction sign on the side of the L8 bus.
Then, Whoopsiedangleplop number one of the day!: I got on the wrong bus and ended up going to Arnold by mistake! Regrettably, I started to do the crossword on the bus and didn’t notice this until I was half way to Arnold. Well, this is definitely further proof of my being a worthy again! ![]()
So no going to the bank today, although things did work out well in other ways. I found a shop that sold and had in stock the DeoFab fabric freshener spray and at £1. So I bought four of them because I like the scent a lot and use it to spray my clothes, carpets and shoes.
Called into Asda to get a little Quiche Lorraine. They were five pence dearer than the Morrison ones. Got two custard doughnuts to drop off for Deana later when I call to get some recycling bags. Some other bits as well, nibbles for the nurses.
As I passed the Market Place it looked a bit busier today, but still sad.
It used to be so popular and busy a few years ago, now looking barren. But things change don’t they?
To the bus stop on High Street behind the Asda (Walmart) store, half way up the hill at the side getting near the car park, I espied a youngish lady of
what I think might be incredibly fashionable sense conscious.
I took a photograph of her hair style and colouring as she demolished a large packet of crisps.
I plodded on up and beyond her and to the bus stop. The message board told me the L9 was due in 16 minutes, that would be 20 minutes past the hour. The timetable in my pocket said it was due at 11 minutes past the hour? Got a bit confused here. Anyway, the bus arrived at 25 minutes past the hour.
As we got to the Sainsbury Store island where a right turn in required – the traffic was gridlocked for a good while, possibly due to the end of the road being blocked off for the underground Gas Workings.
We moved at last after ten minutes or so and the driver did his best to catch up.
Back at the flats, I was in urgent need of the porcelain.
But, it as delayed due to there only one lift being available, and that was being occupied by workmen taking stuff up and down. Tsk! Eventually, I got up and into the flat, only just in time… it was a close call!
Sorted out the things and got the slippers on, and updated this tosh to here.
Got the custard doughnuts and went down to give them to Deana and collect some orange waste bags. This was not to be. It took ages to get down with the workmen still lugging material up and down, but I got to the Community Hut, and no one was in, all locked up.
Back to the foyer of the apartments and saw a tenant, Joy I think her name is, and as we both waited for the one lift to become free, I gave her the custard doughnuts. At least she smiled and thanked me, bless her.
Called on the off chance of seeing Olive, but she was out too.
Another WRWW and I updated this again and did some Facebooking for an hour or two, it seemed to run a bit better today.
Got the mini quiche lorraine with a slice of smoked cheese on top in the oven. BBQ Chicken legs, lettuce, onions, pickled egg, roast onions, yellow and red little cherry type tomatoes, Nordic style bacon, beetroot, sliced green and yellow peppers and sliced cox’s apple.
It was reet grand!
Watched a bit of TV in between nod-offs.
About 2300hrs I got up for a WRWW and stubbed my toe, first time I’ve done this for over a week now… just thought I’d mention it like.

Taking BJ’s photo and chinwagging to him, I was telling him about me having my first ever quiche, and it dawned on me then… I’d forgotten all about the Morrisons delivery that must have arrived while I was talking with Olive.
Which he did when the noise died down, and the other tenants had left, bless him.
The Morrison man called as soon as I got in. They could not deliver again today after all. Made arrangements to have it tomorrow at the same time as I should have been here to receive it today, twixt 0900 > 1000 hrs. The man apologised for not being able to sort it sooner. I told him it was my fault anyway and thanked him.
Feeling depressed and was well and truly pissed off with me now.
Made a large mug of tea and got on with updating this tosh. Then did some graphicalisationing for at least five hours.
Took the medications and got the fodder ready.
Called on Olive, she was in great form and twinkling! A talk laugh and cuddle and I returned to number 72 and added some lamb gravy granules to the vegetables.
Got the fodder served up in the bowl and tucked into it.

Got the fodder ready:
I was soon setting out and up the gravel hill and into Woodthorpe Grange Park and left down the path onto Mansfield Road.
The contents crammed in so much that stuff had been left on top and at the side of it.
Left over the hill and started off down Edwards Lane to the traffic island.
then left along Valley Road, the ring road.
As I departed, the rain came down a bit heavier.
next traffic island. From under the umbrella. I have to say, I’m well pleased with this brolly, nay bother from the wind with it at all. Mind you, it wasn’t very windy, come think of it.
I got the bags and bus-pass and made my way to the bus stop and off to Arnold to get some fresh veg. Had a nice chinwag with one or two on the bus.
Back on the laptop to update things and do some more work on graphicalisationing for a few hours. The time shot by, and soon it was time to get the meal ready.
Balsamic Onion and Cheese Quiche, red and yellow tomatoes, beetroot, gherkins, pickled egg, extra blue cheese slices on the top & cheddar cheese cubes… I believe there might have been two fresh cream horns and a pot of mandarins in jelly lurking in the vicinity too?
Popped onto the scales…
Getting late now, took the medications and had a wash and brush up, then called to see Olive. Her grandson Roger was there, and we all had a good chinwagging session.
Into the kitchen to start the meal cooking and the sky was amazing.
Got the food served up.
Did I did some more of the graphicationalisationing and started this update. The time went so quickly, and it was soon time to go down again to collect the clothes.
In town, I got off on Queen Street and fought my way dangerously through the crowds down through the City Centre and onto Exchange Walk.

Dentist – with Japanese trained concentration camp guards in place of the usual staff! Humph!
Wearily, I got through the crowds.
Got the meal prepared in no time. Beef slices, a tiny tin of garden peas, pickled eggs and beetroot.
throat is so much easier too, now. Arthur Itis no bother, Duo Denal no bother, Hernia Harry not bad at all. Rea Flux and Anne Giner were letting know they were there, but generally, I was feeling good, so good I stayed up.
The kitchen sink that the emergency plumber had sorted out for me, was working okay.
Heavy rain was descending when I got down the lift and outside.
When we reached the Newstead Abbey bus stop, the weather seemed to brighten up a touch.
Back to the bus station via the Market Place.
He had lived in Sweden for many years and told me about the ice and snow they have to contend with.
Got the rather heavily seasoned nosh served up. Buffalo wings, pulled pork on BBQ sauce with baked beans, and no bread, but I did have two rice cakes.
0420hrs: Up and out of the now working once again £300 second-hand recliner and off for a WRHD, not so bad this morning, no bleeding and a lot easier.
Checked this weekend on the Goggle Calendar. Mustn’t forget the Doctor in the morning, and the Foot First Chiropodist on Saturday morning.
Warden Deana rang the fancy ‘I only wanna be with you’ (Dusty Springfield) tune on the door bell. (Anyone calling to see me, please feel free to press the door alarm button several times, I love the song.) Hehe!
Got the food on. Tonight it would be mild Chilli Con Carne, vegetables and chips, with black bean sauce.

Another hour or so and the plumber arrived. He looked at the situation and went down to his van to get another of the black pipe units and returned.
I cleaned up the area. Then back on the laptop and did a Birthday graphic for Marissa Bergen. Took me many hours to get it something like I wanted it to.
Shame that means getting a bus and tram to get there, and the same to get back. Hey-ho! Oh no, it doesn’t! It’s at the City Hospital, innit? So I can walk there and catch a bus back almost to the flats! Great that. Providing I’m in a decent state regarding Anne Gyna and Arthur Itis and the weather is okay, it’ll not be too bad at all hobbling there. Most of the route is downhill going as well.
I reckon if I leave the flats for about 0700hrs, or maybe a little earlier, say 0630hrs to be safe, I should get there for around 0800hrs, the opening time for the Phlebotomy Dept.
Got the meal prepared and on the plate.
Observed the hand written note that I’d left next under Koala Katie to remind me of the INR blood test and call at the chemists for my prescriptions.
As I walked down Winchester Hill, a sorrowful sight was beheld:
WRWW, and got the meal cooking. I tried one of the tomatoes I’d bought at Asda, Lancashire grown Tomkin Tomatoes they were called, an odd nobbly rugose shaped.
WRHD session (Again).
Got the fodder prepared.
The weather was glorious.
Into the pound shop Pound Shop and got some cooked bacon. Then over the walkway into Victoria Shopping Centre (Mall).
covered cashew nuts.
I was feeling good as I entered the foyer, but when I got around to where the lifts are, though… Flipping ‘eck!
On the 7th floor, I had to stop for a few minutes for a rest.
The cheesy potatoes came out looking good, but the taste buds had not returned to their usual appreciative mode yet, but it went down rather better than the last two meals did.
Ate the meal watching a DVD called ‘Golden Years – Grand Theft OAP’, it was one of the best British comedy films I’ve ever seen.
I checked the Google diary afterwards, to see what I’d have on next week.
