A bright morning with snow.

Bright-looking urine in the bag is good!

Down to just four visits today.

Email from Asda – order on its way.

Made a brew of Glengettie.

Asda order arrived.
.
Pondered on whether to have casserole for a nosh?
Put the rest of the fodder away.
Fridge before and after delivery.
Note that it is not full!
Tried the Vegan butter later. It didn’t
spread well, but tasted grand!

Took some more view photos of the light snowfall. See
above… Not the houses, which I reckon must either have
a Cannabis farm in the loft, that, or they are so rich
that they can afford to heat the attic? Hehehe!

.

The footfall in the snowfall, in the bottom field.

Later, a man and his dog caught my attention.
Well, it was the wildly wagging tail of the dog
mainly. Boy, that dog loved the snow!

During the day, I had the attention of Carer Josef,
Carer Adele, also & I think Carer Carolynne.
But since the arrival of
any name could well be the wrong one.
Sorry about that!

The snow gave us another covering.

Throne visit six attended. Every one of the
previous sessions were a watery-gurgling mess.
This one was the complete opposite..
lost out to the new King
of the Throne’s return – !
followed the evacuation.

Then, I walked into the door frame on my way out...
And pulled the  tubing
that was stuck in Little Inchie. Naturally, this left poor
.
Undaunted by this mini-series of acci-whoopS,
I made a refreshing mug of Thompson’s Punjana tea…
Taking the first drink of it at the computer,
gave me a nudge,
and the mug and tea dropped from my grasp!
Of course, I took this in my usual casual, calm,
devil-may-care-but-not-me nonchalance.
.
I was close to crying with frustration!

I made the meal of the day…
I’d forgotten about the potatoes in the slow cooker. Not that
I needed them; I’d gone a smidge.OTT without them.
The plant butter on the bread rolls tasted wonderful.

Did a bit on this blog, mostly getting things wrong, lost
all concentration as my eyes failed, and my head
drooped. I gave up!

Would you believe it? Another visit!

Lots of hassle today – what about I cannot say yet.
combined with Doreen Dementia’s and Sweet Morpheus’s ploy to ensure my getting very little sleep, a dark depression brought on by the day’s events that I will reveal later on in the week; I am at the lowest point in the contentment stakes that I’m been since, well many a year.
Another cut-short thought circumstances beyond my control (I’m getting a lot of these days lately) in detail diary I fear.

According to my notepad, I got up at 04:00hrs, failing to sleep again. After getting the kitchen mopped and making a brew and Carer Richard arrived. Still looking a little under the weather; bless him. I hope he’ll be alright later on. I tried to cheer him up a smidgeon.

Took this shot of the foggy morning…

Stayed misty all day long.

Went to refill the one-litre water bottles from the cheaper 2-litre ones… Whoopsiedangleplop! The cat shot off of the bottles, hit me in the middle of my forehead, and generally soaked me and the floor as ~I dropped it, and it spun around on the floor, liberally distributing two litres of water.

Mopped the floor and put the togs in the laundry bag.

Had a visitor and got all agitated afterwards.
On the Computer.
Carer Sam arrived to do the checks and medications.

Then four lines of scribbled notes happened, and it said it was 13:30hrs. No idea what I wrote, but @I must have been stressed to write that bad, even for me. Hump!

Seems I took a picture of the Chestnut Way car parking.
And somehow missed it?

I went back to the computer to get Sunday’s blog completed.
Took the above shot through the sliding windows and balcony ones.

Says here that ~I was feeling drained again. Not sure if that meant tired or I emptied Cathy Catheter’s Pouch.

Remembered that the Blood ~pressure has to be taken four times a day now. I created the graph near the top and put it on here later in the evening when I felt so tired.

.

Had a nosey about what to eat, and I ended up with a Sweet & Sour Noodles pot. I’ll not try them again.

Carer Kara came to serve me. Medicines and safety checks. Nice to see her, she doesn’t come very often… well, as I’d like. Hehehe!

I was fighting off falling asleep – Marvellous, innit? Get yer head down, and you can’t sleep, give up, get up, and you try working on the blog, and you’ll fall asleep in the computer chair! Not only that, you knock a bottle of spring water off the shelf, and Back-Pain Brenda kicks off when you bend to retrieve it. Fed-up? Me?

Fed-up, I may have said that already, I went to put the kettle on, and what a moon was showing up in the early night sky – Grrreat

Just look at the two-tone colour of it!

The last two above were taken much laterer.
Not so good, are they?

Carer Richard arrived as I was making a pan of stew… of sorts and dishing it out into a bowl. Richard kindly waited for me to finish this before , and gave the medications when the meal was readied. He left me with the tray balanced on my bulbous belly – checked the taps etc., and took the waste bag on his way out.
I ate the rather sad as-it-turned-out meal. Got the pots washed, and with the four-pronged walking stick, Metal Mickey in my hands, I went to lock the front door… well, it’s the only external door. Hehe! ,

Back into the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner.

And Zzzz!

Nearly midnight now.
Another gruelling day – pain & confusion.
No notes at all. I’ll do my bestest.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Only a bit of blood in the first pouch emptied.
Carer Sharon called; she cheered me up a smidge.
Mini-natter waste bags taken.

Got the slow cooker warming up.
Took this shot and got the pots washed.

Seasoned the spuds. Not had them yet!

Sunshine, the only burst all day.
Catheter tubing is very uncomfortable…
No, bloody painful!

Fifth bag emptying of the day.

Seems to be filling up better today…

An hour and a half later…

Iceland delivery.
Amazed to see some bread rolls.
Checked with a magnifier…
They were sell-by today’s date.
Still, they said they didn’t charge me.
Plenty of from in the fridge still.

I went on my fifth visit to the Porcelain Throne.
Blimey, the bag was spilling again…
Blood in the urine again.

Another bag-clearing episode.

Carer Kara called. She said she’s going on her holiday
so will not see me for a fortnight. Sad!
I’ll miss her wit and help.

Made an Asda order for next week.
Little Inchy bleeding away, and no

to use. Hard work using tissues alone.
Oh, and painful!
Mind you, come think of it, applying
the ointment is not nice. Hehe!

Throne evacuations are still incredibly messy.
At least I have some capsules to take.

Gotten Himmel & Flipping ‘eck…
The catheter bag has filled again!

Well, early morning here again.
Going to get summat to eat with the potatoes,
and then get my head down…

No Carer’s been to put the night bag on the.
I did get a different Carer call earlier, in mistake for going to Neighbour Josie. Not that it mattered in the slightest.
Then ten minutes later, another unknown one arrived to do a courtesy visit.
But no one to fit the .
Still, I can make a meal now without carrying the bag around with me.
Bit of a silver lining there?
I must remember to check the bag each time I wake up during what’s left of the night. I usually do keep waking up regularly, so it should be no bother. As long as I remember to check it.

♫ Food, Glorious Food ♫
Off to get it made. Back in the morning… I hope. Hehehe!

Got things cleaned from the mess of the evacuation.
Then started to get the done.

The Was filling quickly.

Abolitionising has been done, and I got on with the medicationalisationings.
Adjusted the mechanics of the as best I could.
The had been kicking off since waking up, but now she was really giving me some. Argh!

Finally, I got dressed.

Proper frosty out there now.

Did a bit of tidying up in the kitchen to make room for the arrival of the food from Walmart-Asda, although it’s not due for a few hours yet.
Got the waste bags sorted out.

Then, back to the . Messy, still.

Carer Richard arrived. Looking a little unwell to me. A bit worried about him this morning. Not that it stopped him from doing his usual comprehensive welfare checks on me. I showed him the tube that came off of the night bag. Within minutes it was replaced. I told Richard of the appointment with the Medical Monitor at the doctor’s surgery on the 2nd, and a temporary was enjoyed, when I told him I’d got through to the Easy-Lift people and arrange a lift there and back, in fact… it was a

The Walmart Asda Delivery Arrived
I was well-pleased with the driver’s attitude and kindness.
The driver kindly took the food through to the kitchen for me.

He put the food where he could find space; there’s not a lot of that.

Bless him!

They had some Potatoe Rostis in stock today.

And, unlike last week when they had none, so I ordered more than I needed. Cunning eh? They all came!

Mid-afternoon view from the kitchen.

Came to sort out the medications and do the Health & Safety Checks on the taps and cooker. She put my mind to rest about both Catheter Pouches having urine in them; She said that this often happens. Bless her. Then checked the taps and oven. Also moved some of the bottles of water delivered to a safer place for me. Bless her.

Sunsetting view this evening.

Arrived. Gave me the tablets. Told me of an electrical fire in a flat yesterday. All okay; the Fire Brigade apparently were taking photos of inside the flat. No one was hurt. Not sure when it was. Took a waste bag with her as she departed.

SHERWOOD SKIES TONIGHT
THESE WERE TAKEN OVER A PERIOD OF ABOUT HALF AN HOUR.

The dark cloud prompted my love of pareidolia

An animal with fire coming from its mouth? Hehe!

And then, back to looking dark?

Bootiful!

♫ FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD ♫

Potato fries, tomatoes (Bitter Italian [‘The Best’ Asda] Piccolo or something like that), mock mackerel in BBQ Sauce, wholemeal cobs (Buttered), and a pot of cheesecake. Flavour rating 705/10. It would have been an even higher score, but for the Asda Extra-Special Aromatico Piccolo tomatoes (Urgh!).

I had planned to watch a football match, but Sweet Morpheus denied me.
Although I kept waking up every few minutes, then drifting off again.
The moment I moved in the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, the kicked off. But, of course, it didn’t bother me. Tsk!

Carer Richard Arrived. Richard to the .
Got the medication given to me. We had a little chinwag. And he was off on his rounds. Taking the waste bag
with him for me to the bin.

Monday 04:30hrs: After another abysmal night’s lack of sleep, I gave up. and had, between them, given me the third sleepless night in a row. The Angina was the worst it’s ever been. A series of reasons, of course, are all confusing.

Who can we blame, then?
Well, on first thoughts, they were the people who assured me that they would be handling, ordering, fetching, monitoring and issuing the prescriptions.
But let’s be fair to them. They lost the Carer who did most of the monitoring, that was , taken ill last Monday. The poor lad was going to return today, they thought, but it seems he is still incapacitated. I wish I could contact him to see how he’s going on. Pound to a penny, his Diabetes-2 is involved in some way. (I later found out it wasn’t… Big Gob!)

Did the Doctor inform the pharmacy about the doubling of the Ann Gyna tablets (Omeprazole)? Did the chemist forget about them? Personally, I blame the Parole Board!

After wee-weeing and two, I say two visits in the following fifteen minutes, I got the health Checks done. BP and all that rigmarole.
Oh, dearie, me, back up to Hypertension-2. A shame that. I suspect that the lack of Omeprazole for the Angina and the lack of sleep had some bearing?

Got the blog updated and posted off to WordPress. Then I Pinterested some pictures.

I went to make a brew of Thompson’s Punjana. And took three pictures out of the kitchenette window, which had roughly the same view.
The top one was in Auto+ mode, the second in Auto, and the third one was taken in Night Scene mode
.

None of them came out as I would have liked. And I’ve learnt nothing from this little experiment… Other than when I reach up to turn the window handle, the pain shot right around the back into the… I think the kidney or bowel area.
A quick swearing session and the need for yet another visit to the overused this morning.

The session was again in full control of Trotsky Terence. Got the ablutions done while in there. A stand-up job; too early to use the noisy shower.

Finally got a brew made and got an email that came in from Iceland.

Minutes later, I was back, seated on the Porcelain Throne. A heck of a messy job this one was. I was cleaning it when a carer came in. I asked about the Omeprazole 20mg. But she didn’t know and could not help me get in touch with Richard.

arrived and gave me the medications. We spoke, and she is going to ask about the prescription situation for me.

Then. the DVT Warfarin nurse arrived; it was Hristina.
She soon got the blood taken. The IRN result form has not arrived from last Monday yet – Postal Strike and work to rule in the UK, don’t you know. Railway workers, NHS Nurses and power workers are all to follow. Oh, dear!
That was followed by the Iceland delivery arriving.

I struggled to get the bags into the hallway.

The treat bottles were put in the 1963-built, falling to pieces, Hopewell’s E-Plan Sideboard, with the doors falling off.

A shame Richard has not got back to work, but better safe than sorry.
I still think his Diabetes-2 is part of his problem. All the best to him.
Thanks for caring for me, my mate! Keep safe!

I got the coffee treats and what should have been Richards into the fridge.

If the lad can’t get back to work, I’ll have to hand the burgers and meals to someone else.
Gawd! is persistent this morning! Oh, it’s nearly teatime!
Came back, and she’s got the prescriptions for me. ♥
UNFORTUNATELY: They’s only sent one box of Omeprazole – with a difference. They were 25ml and not 30 like the last ones, white, not yellow, and with a new name;
Lansoprazole”

Came; I can’t remember why.

I had a phone call from Easy-Link to confirm they have booked a lift in the morning at 10:00hrs. For me to go to the Doctor’s. Grrreat!

I got a call from Easy-Link, to confirm the lift in the morning to the Doctors… well, nurses’ appointments at the Surgery.

Better get something to eat, then. Vegan sausages, tomatoes with basil, rolls… I’ll go and see what is available. I made a decent meal, but I took a photo of it, and it is not on the SD card. This is not surprising now, as I found I’d left it on the computer.

Came in. I was still groggy from sleep. But did notice the lad was still not looking or sounding very well. Croaky voice, coughing a lot, too.
He checked on the medical draw, and we spoke a lot..
. but most if what was said had gone into the ether.
I should see him in the morning.

Oh, I’m going to see the nurses Tuesday… pick-up is at 10:00hrs, I mustn’t forget.

06:10hrs: I woke up in the usual fashion with a jerk after having already woken up several times in a similar fashion. Had a wee-wee, quick wash, utilised the , the first time, which was followed by four more by midday! Changed into socks, PP’s, trews and dressing gown.
The second visit to the, . Made a brew of Glengettie.
Got some spuds cooking in the slow cooker.

Got the fridge dates checked. There were some I could not see or decipher, thanks to , and the foggy, not to mention .
Took a snap of a large number of vehicles this morning down on Chestnut Way in front of the Woodthorpe Court block of flats.

Made up some waste bags; I had to dish even more of the Asda potatoes that had gone green overnight.
Got the computer on and had a go at the free find three logos competition.
Not doing any worse this year; my record stays a two (February).
All other times it was one, like today.
Got on CorelDraw and Word to make this template.
Back for the 3rd visit.
Then an amazing thing happened. What a Shock!
Mr Fries, Liberty-Global Virgin Media went down. Humph!
How do they get away with it, being such rubbish and overcharging idiots like me for a pathetic service?
And Fries still gets his phenomenal salary and guaranteed bonus?
Not that I’m jealous of the Smoke & Mirrors; financially manipulative man, of course.

Arrived, and it was nice to see him. He was yawning at the end of his shift. Got the medications sorted, and we had a mini-natter. He checked the taps, stove and lights left on for me. Richard found some medications out of date, which we wrapped and threw away.

number four visit was activated. this time, only just got there in time. This is a problem because I need to go out to get some money. At this rate, I dare not go out, but will still need the cash to keep paying bills. A dilemma here!

Made a brew of Glengettie tea and eventually got back on the computer. Updated the Sunday blog and sent it off to WordPress.

and Ty arrived for the second check visit. Ty helped me with the Amazon confusion I was in. I took another Paracetamol cause the bladder was still playing up pain-wise.

Rang out, and the DVT Warfarin nurse came in and did the INR blood test for me.
A different nurse this time seemed in a rush, but pleasant enough.

Visit number five was attended to. With the evacuations in control of Trotsky Terence and a few close calls, I may have to leave getting out to get some cash for fear of getting caught out? Leaving me in a quandary: if things are the same tomorrow?

acci-whoop I got a text message from Asda telling me of the shortages and substitutes on today’s order. Oh, dearie me… Another cock-up on my behalf! I thought I’d cancelled this order when I made the one for Sunday. Apparently not! What a clot! In fact, this got me self-hating and cursing at myself!

As I made a start on this template, I changed my mind. And decided to get the done instead. Fancy me equivocating? Ahem! Off to the wet room with the clothing needed for after. Hope the shower still works and there is enough hot water to get a shave safely.

Commenced: The visit… erm, six is it? Was needed. I’m becoming something of an expert on the Throne! Hehe! Good job I didn’t go out to get some cash, after all.
My fears of the shaving cuts were right. At least eight cuts were gleaned; I thought  I was going to break the record… but it was close. Another couple and I would have.
The showering was a little farcical all around. Hit my head on the power box – Twice! Dropped the picker-upperer when trying to retrieve the loofah and then head-butted the tiles when I lost my balance bending down to get it! All this pales into insignificance compared to the pain that came from , and him getting crushed in the process! Crying was an option I had considered at the time…
But getting out of the shower and stubbing my
