GM 90.0.002:05hrs: I stirred from my slumber, feeling sedentary, reluctant to move. Jejune thoughts came and went; the brain didn’t want disturbing with anything too important. Nor in the least bit like any conscientious physical or mental activity! The maundering mind mused over puerile irrelevant facts and figures for awhile. The eyelids were heavy, and Borborygmus rumblings and gentle but scarily bubbly-sounding emissions of wind started in unison!

I was just not interested in moving! The dry coughing was annoying me; it prevented me from getting back to sleep! Hehe! Inevitably, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived.

WD 150.0.0 Off to the wet room, got the stick out of the way, and plumped down on the throne. It was hard-going, but I forced the activity along. I wish I hadn’t now – the pain! One unpleasant mess to clear-up and medicate afterwards. The whole nine-yards of hassle to deal with this morning. What a start to the day!

WD 150.0.0 Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding and was sore. The messy bowl (the Sennas had been working at last, too well!) needed cleaning. The evacuated product required much effort and flushing to get rid of! Which when I was in the middle of sorting things out, the metal four-pronged walking stick was caught with my left foot, and it fell, clouting the right foot big toe. On the way down, it knocked the pen off of the floor cabinet, which flew up in the air. It fell into the toilet without touching the sides, into the mess within! Crying was an option that I barely resisted!

1Mon04However, I reckon that the pins (legs) were looking betterer than they were yesterday! There was undoubtedly hardly any hassle from Arthur Itis this Monday morning. Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald were making up for this, though. The stabbing pains from Ann, and the dull droning aches from Donald. As I left the wet room, limping a little, the toe was still a bit tender, I took care in case any dizzies, or loss of balance came on, not to use the stick too close to the right leg. What am I saying? I get them every day! Every hour, or less sometimes! Stop being splenetic Inchcock! (“Okay, Sorry!”) I think the pins will soon be looking healthy again.

1Mon01To the kitchen, where I was pleased to find I had not left any taps running, fridge door open, or parts of the stove left on! I got the kettle on and took a photographicalisation of the morning view. Made the brew of Glengettie Gold tea, and off to the computer to get the Sunday Diary updated.

WD 150.0.0 I got the computer on and checked first to see if Facebook had been repaired, and I could get back to tending to my beloved photo albums. As if! Third day with no access to collections now. Grrr!

1Mon02

I pressed on doing the Saturday blog and got it finished and posted off. (When I say this, it sound so easy, but took several hours) Then put what few pictures I had on Pinterest. Then went on the WordPress Comments. I checked the Amazon parcels; The one packet of red potato snacks and the 6 packets of Taokaenoi seaweed and the one bottle of Hickory sauce are due today. The absolutely ridiculously priced pack of 12 toilet rolls (I daren’t say what I’m paying, Oh, dearie me), are due on 18th to 20th March. Which was initially 16th, today. Will they ever arrive, or not? A few WUP (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees were taken.

1Mon05I took a break, had a wee-wee, of the WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) so very slowly, variety.

Then got the medicationalisationing sorted out. I remembered I should have made a vial of sample erm… water, for the nurse to collect, so had to fill the sample pot, which was no bother, the trickling is rampant today. Had a guzzle of the over the counter cough medicine as well. Then olive oiled the earholes.

I began on this post. I stopped and went to get the veg in the crock-pot. Onions, I’ve got two more in the fridge. I used the last of the other fresh vegetables up. Mushrooms, onions, and peas, seasoned with a little sea salt, light Soy sauce and vegetable seasoning stock cube. Oh, and a spoonful of mint in vinegar.

Weary-eyed,  I started to do the handwashing. Which went far better than yesterday, no big spillages and no toe-stubbings! Done, wrung and hung, I went to get the ablutions done.

During which, I needed four WUPs (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees! But as with the handwashing, the ablutionalisationing went of a lot betterer than Monday’s. A few dropsies, only the toothbrush, razors (2), and the fresh air spray. Moreover, no toe-stubbing and the Sock-Glide tussle was injury-free!

Unfortunately, the chest pains started again as I came out of the wet room. I got the towel on the airer. Then made up three general waste bags and a large recycling one. There was no one about, so I took them to the waste chute.

WD 150.0.0 I came back and had a WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) wee-wee. And decided it might be a good idea if I put the hot tap on instead of the cold one to fill the kettle with, and turned back to fill it. I now have some very artistic little scold-marks on my hand and arm. Frumpworthy Grobblecurses! I got the Savlon cream and used the last of it to ease the tiny blisters, but they all popped when I applied the medication? Now this made wonder. On closer inspection I found the ‘Use-By’ date on the box, to be ‘Oct 2006’! Ah, well, I don’t know how I’m going to get out for some more!

1Mon05bOn the computer again. I had a check on the Amazon bits progress for today. Nothing crucial, each one a bit of a treat actually.

Seaweed Snack, which was £1, I could have got packs of six far cheaper, but I thought it was commonsensible to try one first to see if I liked them. Did you see that? A moment’s logicality sneaked in there! Haha! I must not get carried away with it, though!

The toilet rolls I ordered but dare not tell you how much they cost, but TORK-UK company do not do a tracking system apparently.

1Mon06a

WD 150.0.0 I went on their website. Tork-UK is a New York owned and based firm, and their prices were a little less for the same thing than Amazon. But, not a lot, as Paul Daniels used to say. I looked up the details about the product, not that there was much of it.

1Mon06b

I shall have to work out what those, ‘M’ and ‘MM’ measurements are in English as I know it. Thank heavens for Google. 94mm is 3.7″, and 200mm 7.8″ per sheet, not too bad?

Of course, they have to arrive yet! Wednesday to Friday it says they are due. The lorry might get highjacked? And on Thursday, I have to go to the Podiatrists in the morning for an 08:30hr appointment, I hope it doesn’t arrive while I’m out! Oh dear, I’m worried now! If it comes on Wednesday, that would be the best thing. I’ll be stuck indoors anyway, I can’t go out until Thursday. I will soon need some bread and milk, although I can manage without them really, I suppose. Fresh veg and fruit will be sadly missed. Ah, I think I’ve ordered some of that stuff, from Iceland for tomorrow! I get confused easily, you know!

A leaflet was put through the door, weel, six of them were! I threw five straight into the recycling bag.

1Mon07WD 150.0.0 But had a read of the Farmfoods one. Unbelievable! They were advertising packs of 18 toilet rolls, @ 3 for £11!!! This may get them stampeded by the ruthless, nasty, hoarders of Nottingham. And will end-up in disaster for them! I hope not! But can already envision the responses from the Brexit-weary, Coronavirus C-90-frazzled, angry muggers, shop-lifters and gang members, even ordinary citizens, will be; after they have hastened to the stores to find they have sold out! A verbal insulting, vicious-marathon and possible blood bath will follow! Mark my words! The poor staff are going to be in for it when they run out of stock!

I rang Sister Jane to tell her of the advert. We had a natter, and things sounded better for her hubby Pete, medically speaking, I’m glad to say. Got a bit of a dizzy while talking to her, and most of the conversation didn’t make it to the memory-box. Phwert!

1Mon08WD 150.0.0 Back on the computer, but the usual old folk’s weariness was dawning fast. So I gave up, after trying Facebook first. Still no access to my photo albums! Grrr!

1Mon09aI got the chips in the oven and checked the vegetables in the Crock-Pot. The Amazon delivery arrived, and I left them to sort out later and pressed on with the nosh preperationing. And what a nosh it turned out to be. An 8/10for flavour. Super tasty! I could have done with an extra x6 servings of the Truffle Fries, but still.

1Mon09bI did the washing up, took the medications and opened the three bits from Amazon. The salt & vinegar flavoured seaweed snack pack (Not tried yet), six packets of Japanese style seaweed crispies (delicious!), and the Moores Hickory Marinade (Very costly!) I’ll ask on the TFZer Facebook if anyone knows how to use this Marinade.

1Mon10I put the boxes behind the £300, second-hand, grottily beige-coloured, c1968, not working, uncomfortable, falling to pieces recliner.

Then found boxes I’d put there earlier and had not removed yet! But I’ll get around to it sometime, I’m sure…

Washed, changed, and got settled to see some TV. The usual happened; watch a few minutes, nod-off a few minutes repeatedly, but no proper sleep for hours! Spit!

Oct 19

02:35hrs: I stirred, stewing over a dream I’d had. It was a scary, horrible, nerve-tingling load of memories of my past failures, all mingled together, with the added lack of future in the mix. Not nice at all!

After freeing the memory-box of these thoughts, I moved the body, piece by piece, in a bid to assess what the ailments would be like and up to this morning. Thank heavens, RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis), seemed to be much kinder to me, especially after yesterday’s heavyweight-pounding he gave me. This morning stiff knees were so much less painful. But, Duodenal Donald was on top form, as was Back-Pain-Brenda. As I rose free from the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner, and got upright, there were no Dizzy Dennis episodes, and I caught my balance, as the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived.

wdp02LeftWD 0.0.30Bacci I got the stick and hobbled to the wetroom. The evacuation was a bit more of a struggle this morning, and messier. Cleaning up after the session, I managed to stub the toe again against the seat-riser’s metal leg. (Oy-Yoy-Yoy!) Washed and off to the kitchen.

WD 0.0.30B Kettle on and took the medications. Realising I had missed last nights dosages, so just added one Warfarin to the morning’s intake. Made the cuppa, and had an astounding wee-wee, a CMOUSTSTBOWV (Catching-Me-Out-Unwilling-Slow-To-Start-Then-Blasting-Out-With-Venom), it almost made me feel dizzy and drop the GPEB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket)!

I got on the computer, set things up. Then went on the WordPress Reader for a much-needed catchup session. The nex wee-wee was not long in coming, a BOBSL (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived) version.

Then made a start on this blog up to here, and got around to updating yesterday’s post.

WD 0.0.30B I began updating the Friday blog. About an hour or so, and two more wee-wees, both of the ELDOP (Extra-Long-Drawn-Out-Persistent) mode; I again needed to visit the Throne Room! As I hobbled to the wet room, the urgency became suddenly higher, I am so embarrassed to say so, but I did not make it in time! And yet, only liquid seemed to escape? I got very nearly seated as the evacuation proper started! And it might have been a lot again and softish, but the losing liquid convinced me to make an appointment to see the Doctor. So, I washed, threw the dressing gown in the laundry bag, and changed into fresh PPs. Funny how when you’re on your own, and something disturbing and shamefaced-making happens, how you still feel the redness in your cheeks coming on!  (Almost Whimpering now!)

wdp02LeftWD 0.0.30Bacci As I was exiting the wet room, I caught the clothes airer, and it tipped over, sending the trousers on it flying, and landing with almost perfect precision, on my stubbed toe! Bloody hell! What next, I asked myself. DDD (Depression-Deranged-Daftness) Mode Defcon level to Two! The EQ was worrying silent and inactive about these things this morning!

Back to the updating process. In a negativistic, defeatist, melancholic mood. I got the Friday post finished, eventually. Not without needing another two ELDOP wee-wees, and the innards I believe, brewing up for another evacuation!

I then went on the TFZer Facebook, for another catching up session. By-gum; that took me ages. Better get the ablutions done now, so I can catch the bus to town, in the hope of the store having some Potato cakes left on sale. Fingers crossed, I’ll be reet-miffed if they don’t have any. Hehe!

6Sat02aThings might not go so good today, oh, I’ve already said that sorry. It’s just that I had to have three wee-wees while doing the ablutions! There were far fewer dropsies, however. The razor, the showerhead and the body-spray can, which was a little encouraging! And the legs looked in better form, not a lot, mind, Oh, yes! Arthur Itis is definitely a lot easier this morning. As for clopidogrel, lumps, bruises, scars and blood papsules on the legs, they had also calmed down? It’s confusing innit?

6Sat03I dressed, made a brew and checked on the Saturday bus L9 times, only four L9’s today. 10:32 the one to town, and I have limited time with it arriving in the City at 11:02, and the next one home is at 12:02hrs. Just an hour to go to Tesco for the puff pastry fingers, and the Bargain shop in search of the Potato Cakes!

Time to get things and self ready for the trip. Which didn’t take too long, but the time spent grubbing around, and double-checking things delayed me, and I ended up having to hasten to the bus stop! Humph! This did not stop me stopping to chinwag with Pete for a minute or so, in the Winwood Court Social Room as I passed through. Many residents were there, for the Saturday cooked breakfast. Mo, John (Herbert) and others, along with Pete (I may have got his name wrong, grand chap). Out to the bus stop and had a natter again until the bus arrived. Struggled a bit with the Arthur Itis knees that started to flair up en route.

6Sat03aI gt off of the bus last as is usual, and photographed Lynne and Welsh William as they shot away, as did all the others, very wise of them, considering my unstable walking with the three-wheeler guide. I’d have kept my distance too, to avoid being caught with the trolley wheels. Giggle!

6Sat04I walked through the Vic Centre (Mall) to the Tesco store. Where I was pleased to find some Puff Pastry fingers, and a bottle of handwash liquid. £5.30 less, I hobbled out and onto Milton Street. Where this ignorant slob, git and animal 6Sat05of a Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist nearly had me over! Further along, this L-plated scooter rider seems to have cured his parking problems, by parking on the pavement near the taxi rank?

WD 0.0.30B Oy-yoy-yoy! There were three young men, druggies or alcoholics I think, judging by their appearance, goggle-eyed, threatening behaviour, and lack of ethics as they were asking folks, or rather demanding money from them. The tallest of the three came to me and muttered something, that was incoherent and put his hand out, palm upwards. I suggested he goes forth and multiply! (Although I condensed to two-words!) This was not bravado or courage. It was my disgust in their comportment. The moment I realised what I said, I nearly wee’d myself! Haha! He leaned down closer to me, gave a blink of disbelief, and just walked away, to join his fellow erks as the turned into a hotel car park. The female Intu security officer from came and asked if I was alright. It then dawned on me as I looked around, that the yobboes were being shadowed by a group of the Security people. She told me to take care and chased after the other officers who had followed the trio of twits into the car park. Interestingly, I can’t recall seeing a single proper or imitation police officer anywhere on my walk around the City today? Although there may be some in the photographs, I took, and there were many made today.

I crossed over the road and called in the Little Waitrose store to get a pack of their £2 Kenyan peas. Which I did, but they had gone up to £2.09 today. Still, if they taste as good as Tuesday’s, they will be acceptable to me. I love ’em!

Out, and down the road to the Bargain Store. Where I had luck again, in getting the things I wanted to. A packet of Italian flakey pastry swirls and several packs of the Bangladeshi made potato biscuits. The trolley bag was now filled-up to its limited 6Sat05acapacity.

Paid-up and outside, where I took this ‘moody-shot’ on Milton Street. Not bad at all, I think? The hands were not shaking too bad at all now. But the famously (to me) moody Arthur Itis was growing more of a hindrance as the day went on. I limped down to Upper Parliament Street, where I took a people filled shot of Clumber Street. Then crossed over the pelican lights, and took a closer shot of the Nottinghamian shoppers, alcoholics, illegal immigrants, students, house-breakers, mobile-using, gang members, druggies, knife-carrying, spitting, nicotine addicts, beggars, muggers, and shoplifting citizenry.

6Sat18a

6Sat09I walked along Upper Parliament Street, to the Queen Street bus stop. Certain, that after checking earlier this morning on the web, that the next bus goes out at 12:05hrs.

WD 0.0.30B But I had got it wrong again! The next bus isn’t until 13:05! Well over an hour to wait. I could have caught a 40 bus in twenty-minute time, but the thought of crossing the road when I get off on the hill and bend in the road put me off that idea. The knees and danger of crossing over Mapperley Rise determined I would have a walk around town on the flat and take some piccies instead. Then catch the 13:05hrs L9 home.

6Sat12I started my slow, steady, no-rush, time-killing hobble into the Slab Square.

The atmosphere I felt around me, was one of fear, suspicion and trepidation. The EQ guided me in thinking this, I don’t know why though? I opted to pay a visit to the Poundland Shop.

6Sat11As I made my way along Long Row, I spotted the MOD Pizza palace, where trade seemed about dead as a dodo, again. This place can’t last much longer, surely!

I pressed on, casualty sauntering and with the trolley doing its own thing as the leg started to lose its nerve contact again. I got to the Poundland store and hobbled around at my leisure. I ended up buying: Wholemeal sliced cobs, Pringles, mini stilton cheddars, cocktail sausages, honey-roast almonds and ready-made BLT sarnies. After paying for them at the self-serve checkout, I spent more time trying to sort out and get everything into the carrier and trolley bag, than I spent shopping! The result was a wobbly to control trolley. He-He!

I had a hobble around the Slab Square and took some more photographs.

6Sat10Then up Queen Street to the L9 bus stop.

From where I took a snap of another ignorant, law-breaking, uncaring, smarmy,  nasty,  young Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, weaving his way through the pedestrians on his way up Queen Street.

The bus arrived, and I ensconced myself in the corner side-saddle seat. For about ten bus stops, I was the only passenger, but the bus soon filled-up with folks, and by the time we got back to the flat, it was well filled, with many Winwoodonian’s too. I struggled off the bus, the Arthur Itis knees no better.

6Sat17I walked back through Winchester Court along the link passage to the big Winwood Court lounge. Where it looked all abandoned at first.

But around the corner on the left, I spotted a lady and Big John (Herbert), starting a big jigsaw puzzle. We exchanged greetings, and I carried on, due to a sudden need for a wee-wee. As I did my best to hurry along, I realised that I had gone all that time while I was out, without needing to go, amazing! Baffling, mind?

The rest of the trip up to the flat, is a blur, as desperation turned almost into a panic – Would I make it to the WC in time!

And, Holly Mackerel, it was close-call! It was an ELPJL (Extra-Long-Powerful-Jet-Like) wee-wee that actually tired me out taking it!

Weakened, tired and weary again (which is not unusual at this time of day for the old scrote). I was not up to doing the hand washing, that’ll have to wait. Washed and stripped off, into the jammies, and got the nosh prepared.

6Sat18Which didn’t take me long. Warmed up the last of the cheesy potatoes, made twp sarnie cobs, opened the ready-made BLY sarnies and added a ready-cooked chicken thigh. A Limoncello dessert and orange juice.

Got settled in the Xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working recliner £300, c1968, second-hand, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty recliner, TV on, and started to feast on the meal.

WDPleft05WD 0.0.30B Turning on the sleep-inducing TV, I realise now, far too late, might not have been such a good idea! Oh, no! I fell asleep while eating my nosh. Waking an hour or so later, to find the food distributed between my stomach and legs, the arms of the recliner, the chair the legs were on, and the carpet! It looked more like the meal had exploded rather than the tray just slipping off the stomach! I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. So, I laughed! At first…

WDPright05WD 0.0.30B I roused myself (much angering Arthur Itis) and began to sort out the mess. During which, the need for a wee-wee arrived. I was making my way to the GPEB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency Bucket) and gave my toe a stubbing on the corner of the Ottoman. I managed to avoid shouting out loud, but inwardly cursed. (You know, things like, flipping heck and Oh bother!)

WDPleft05WD 0.0.30B The wee-wee was another one of the ELPJL (Extra-Long-Powerful-Jet-Like) mode. I had a job hanging on to the bucket! Boy, it was seemingly endless, dragged out affair. Fagged me out too!

WDPright05WD 0.0.30B Getting back to the clearing up the meal-mess, I trod on what was once a buttered tomato cob, and went over, via the Ottoman on my back! Knocking over the flat airer and clothes on it, which landed on my face and head! There was no question as to laughing or crying this time! Humph! I had to crawl to the walking stick and use the cabinet to assist me in getting my lumbering flobby-body back up again off of the floor. Arthur Itis was really pissed-off with me now!

WDPleft05WD 0.0.30B All the bending to pick up the detritus spread all over, took me ages. And then Back-Pain-Brenda joined in with Arthur Itis in giving me a lot of pain. I had to fetch some spray to clear up the tomato seeds and juice stains. Then getting back up again was even more difficult than last time! I did consider using the alarm wristlet to call for assistance but decided against it. Imagine someone calling and seeing the state I had got myself into! Too embarrassing! However, I now had room to follow the physio advice on getting up, so I rolled to the chair, and got up piecemeal, using the cushion part, then the arms of the seat, and managed to rise again. A bit like a Walrus, without the tusks. Hehehe!

Then I needed a wash-up and another change of clothing! I was fed-up. I was in agony. Now I had even more handwashing to do in the morning! I was pissed-off, too!

WDP 03Getting back to sleep was prevented for an eon it seemed, by the mind going over the farcical situation I found myself in, repeatedly.

Boohoo!

Sunday 31st March 2019

Russian: Воскресенье 31 марта 2019

0100hrs: WD128.0.0 I stirred with my mind full of memories from the ridiculous dream I’d been having. As I reached for the pen and pad from the Ottoman to write down details before they shot off into the ether, the right foot slipped from the stool Ottoman, and I clouted the back of my right heel and hit my ankle on the corner, on the way down! This surprised me somewhat as I knew that I’d left the magnificently aged ci1968, second-hand, rickety recline in the up position wit7Sun03h the leg support raised outward, as I always do when settling down in search of some sleep. How it got lowered, I was not sure, but I do not recall lowering it.

The first thing I did was to take a look at the poor old foot. Well, it almost looked like the limb was trying to transmogrify into a copy of Sister Jane’s foot?

By then, of course, all recollections of the dream had been long gone and evanesced into the mesosphere of the space-time continuum, perhaps? They had undoubtedly departed from my eensy-weensy, nanoscopic-sized brain-box storage area! So annoying this was. Humph!

I vacated the recliner without too much hassle and lunged at the EGPWWB (Emergency Grey Plastic Wee-wee bucket) Yesterday’s day-long DTAADs (Dribble-tinkle-and-all-done) style wee-wees, were now UWTWW (Unwilling-Weak-Trickle) Wee-wees.

The call to the Porcelain Throne arrived while I was still trying to encourage the unresponsive bladder to permit the UWTWW to start! Off to the wet room.

7Sun02WD128.0.0 The evacuation was a really messy one, requiring an exorbitantly long time in cleaning up afterwards. I checked the pins out – Blimey! The lower part of the legs which suffer the Axonotmesis problem, seemed to have erupted, well the skin had, with all sorts of mini-blotches, blood papsules, tiny new spots of varying colour, a new spider vein display, etc. With the shin bones seemingly warping and knobbly? I picked out a couple of runs of new blains or sores, almost in line on each leg. Yet the swelling in the feet seemed to have gone down a bit? Still, the changing daily state of the plates makes a bit of interest. I can’t imagine what it would be like to wake up with the body in the same condition as the day before. Haha!

WD128.0.0 7Sun01Washed up and off to the kitchen. The sphygmomanometer worked the first attempt. The results were another thing that caught me out this morning. Sys at 143 was a little low – Dia also low at 67, but the pulse was at 102! Maybe the clouting my legs and rushing about in response to the wee-wee and Throne needs had affected the level?

Ah-well, I must press on, lots to get done computerisationingly this morning.

Visited the WordPress Reader section. Had another (even shorter this time) UWTWW. I realised I had not put my clocks forward one hour. I only had four to do manually, the second-hand £2 wristwatch, the wall clock, and two battery-powered mini-clocks, one I keep near the computer to use as an extra alarm the other in the wet room. The wristwatch was done okay. Then the wall clock too. When it came to changing the mini-clock near the computer, the farce began:

WD128.0.0 Getting off the scabbard cover from the back, and trying not to use too much pressure and break it, it shot off and away when it did come free, hit my chin, bouncing off to his the oil-filled radiator and disappeared! When I got down on the floor to search underneath the second-hand bought 1966 E-plan cabinet, an Accifauxpa was suffered.

wda128.0.0 I pulled at the lower region, and instantly the warm wet sensation of Little Inchies fungal lesion bleeding sent my spirits down a peg.

wda128.0.0 As I stretche7Sun07ad under with the torch for the plastic, I hit my head on the edge of the cabinet.

wda128.0.0 Located the bit of clock, and shoved my hand to the back to collects it. I really do not know what I caught it on, but it made me jump and had a couple of marks on the wrist then I pulled out the hand? Another Mystery of Woodthorpe Court! Aliens, Weevils, ghosts or what? Hehe!

I moved to Wee’d-Off-Defcon-Status-Three. Off to try my bestest to stop the lesion bleeding. It took a long time and used up the last of the Hydrocortisone cream.

Tap, tap and knocking noises from above.

Make a brew and took the medications. Had some cornflakes for a late brekkers, and watched some YouTube clips, before making a start on the job of making up some blog templates for future use.

Five hours later, 14:50hrs, I’d got them made up and saved to file, then began to create the blogs.

Throughout the day the tap, tap, knock-knock noises could be heard from above. Didn’t bother me at first, but as I became more and more tired, they irritated me.

7Sun10Took the medications and got a simple to make a meal of canned tomatoes and sausages.

Washed the pots, well, left them in the bowl to soak anyway.

Off to the Porcelain Throne, another messy affair.

7Sun11I took a last snap with the old Sony camera through the unwanted, hard to clean, step-ladder needing, light & view blocking new kitchen windows, of the rather moody looking skyline.

I was so tired and drained now. Yet pleased that I had got in front with the blog draughts, or should that be drafts? Hehe!

I almost flopped onto the £300 second-hand recliner. I put on a Doctor Who DVD, that’s all I recall until I reluctantly woke at 01:30hrs.

Inchcock Today: Sat/Sun 29/30th Dec 2018: Wee-wee splash-back like a hosepipe! Depressed Weary and Poorly, and the body growing like Robert Morely! Tsk!

23:25hrs. WD 51.2.51 I woke, and the first thing that registered in my muddled brain was the unbitten tomato sandwich, squashed into the folds of my bloated stomach! The mind simply accepted this fact, without any expostulatory self-recriminations. Then it moved on to other concerns, and, with a degree of clarity in there too! This, I found surprising and worrying, such a rare stance for my grey-cells as I gain consciousness in a morning?

I removed the belly-dwelling sandwich and had a feel about of the legs. Again, I was surprised, to find that the fluid build-up seemed have gone down a little. Surely one-half of a Furosemide tablet, taken ten hours earlier, seemed to have made some effect already? Or, maybe, was being hopeful? The usual morning struggle out of the £300 second-hand rickety, rusty recliner was not as severe as usual, and I thought I might be right about the fluid retention going down a bit…

WD 51.2.51 That was until I caught the swollen tibialis muscle against the corner of the Ottoman! I take it back, perhaps the fluid is not going down after all. Hehe! A decent purple-blue bruise appeared in seconds. Tsk! But, of course, the pain meant nothing to a man like me. (Lie Mode Adopted!)

I Iimped on, muttering to myself as I did so, to the kitchen to get the Health Checks done and the medications were taken. The legs seemed to swell up as I hobbled on, and were rock-solid again by the time I got the few paces to the kitchen.

6Sat05

6Sat03My sphygmomanometer worked on the second attempt. The new thermometer which I was conned into buying worked, but I still can’t hear the ending beeps, even when the thing is in my ear-hole?

The readings for Sys, Dia, and pulse were all rather low this time. The weight, had gone down a bit? The temperature was looking good to me.

GC blue f03WD 51.2.51 I took one Furosemide with the other medications, and off for the usual SSWW (Short-Sharp-Wee-wee): which after the Furosemide being taken last night and this morning, have now turned into LHBLWWs (Long Hosepipe-Blasting like Wee-wee). Cor Blimey! I got splashback all over the place. You wouldn’t believe how much and how far it went – well, I can’t believe how much and how far it went!

I took me ages to get things cleaned up. I have now positioned three plastic bins, one in each room. Humph! No going out today, then. I do not think the Protection Pants would cope if another blast like that one comes along uninvitedly. As the paperwork that came with the Furesomide said: “…blocking the absorption of sodium, chloride, and water from the filtered fluid in the kidney tubules, causing a profound increase in the output of urine – never a more accurate statement read! Hehehe!

WD 51.2.51 By the time I’d got the sorting outdone, another LHBLWW arrived! Forearmed with knowledge now, I made use of the grey bin in the kitchen and avoided the spray-back… well, most of it. Humph! I might run low on disinfectant and Germolene cream soon.

6Sat06I went on an EIBWBBBs (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles) search and destroy mission. I got the 5p coin ready on the kitchen towel to photograph any prisoners I caught.

Something else hard to believe – I didn’t find a single Weevil, dead or alive!

I set about updating the Friday post. Considering all the mayhem and overabundance of events suffered on this day, I was pleased with how the end product came out. Titivated it, and got it sent off to WordPress. During this process, I utilised the thin deep grey bin three times for an LHBLWW!

6Sat15

Emptied and disinfected the grey ‘Emergency bin’, and went to make a very small mug of tea.

While waiting for the kettle to boil, I took five photographs from the unwanted or liked light and view-blocking new window. I tried each one in a different option on the camera. To see how they compared to each other in taking nighttime shots of the same view.

WD 51.2.51 Unfortunately for me, I forgot to make a note of each one’s mode it was taken in! What a Nebbish! Here the yare, anyway. Tsk!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Back on the computer and made a start on this blog. Just the one LHBLWW needed.

Checked the Emails, then went on the WordPress Reader.

6Sat07I spotted that the papsules on the back of the left hand were returning again? A mystery these are. I forgot to mention them to the Dr Vindla yesterday.

Still, I can get another chance on Monday when I go for another Warfarin INR blood test and my appointment with the doctor. I think the original meeting might have been about the memory blanks and forgetfulness? But I forget for sure. Haha!

I went on Facebook to update with the TFZers and get the latest photographs in the albums.

The legs seem to be filling up again now, far more than when I woke up… what’s going on here? Tsk!

6Sat22I’ve decided to get some brekkie now.

I’ll go and have a forage around to see what fodder is available… Tomato sarnies, pickled gherkins, and chestnuts with a drop of hoisin and balsamic sauce, so I can try both of them out.

Not keen on the balsamic sauce, a little too sweet, but the Hoisin was tasty and tangy. As brekkies go, a Flavour Rating of 5/10 for this one.

I spent hours on CorelDrawing and making a few more page header graphics.

WD 51.2.51 A Blank Spot followed. And I found myself waking up in the £300 second-hand recliner, in need of an SSWW, which again turned out to be an LHBLWW.

6Sat23Dizzy Dennis paid me a visit as I got the meal prepared. I wish I hadn’t bothered now.

I think the taste-buds have gone off a bit again. Pork ribs with seasoned baked beans and a defrosted cob. To me, it all tasted horrible, not just not nice. I left most of it, and I usually would gobble up all of the seasoned beans.

I felt suddenly drained.

I got the pots soaking in the washing up bowl, had another LHBLWW and into the night attire and on the recliner. Despite my weariness, it took me ages to get off to sleep! No hobbles, you see?

Scots Gaelic: Didòmhnaich 30mh Dùbhlachd 2018

23:42hrs. I bestirred with the belief that I had been sleeping for so long like never before, and must have overslept by hours and hours! Then realised it didn’t matter in the least if I had overslept, no medical appointment today. Had grope of the fluid affected legs, they seemed in the same condition as they were yesterday, which was less solidly swollen than the day before… I waffled a bit making that statement didn’t I. Tsk!

WD 51.0.0 As soon as I tried to move my pharaonically-stomached body from the £300 second-hand recliner, I realised I was wrong about the state of the legs. Fair enough, they did feel less filled with fluid, but, oh boy, the pain when I stood up! From the top of the legs down to the ankles were positively painful, every time any part touched against something… like the floor! Ah-Well, nil desperandum! No doubt now the blood’s starting to move, it will ease off in a while.

I shuffled slowly and carefully to the kitchen, when I saw the clock, I realised I had only been asleep for about four hours!

WD 51.0.0 I was getting the Health Checks and medication taking things ready, when the innards erupted and despite the condition of my legs I hastened frantically, quicker than I had ever done before, to the wet room and the desperately needed Porcelain Throne! I did not make it in time! An uncontrollable liquified evacuation. No more details should be told. Nuff said! A lengthy cleaning up session took place.

Back to the kitchen and the Health Checks.

The flipping sphygmomanometer was not in the mood for playing this morning. It took four tries before it worked. Tsk!

7Sun01

I found a blobby patch of whatever it was on the lower right arm, and the papsules seem to have changed colour again?

WD 51.0.0 I made a brew and took the medications… no sooner done, than the stomach rumbled and grumbled and it was back to the Porcelain Throne in another hurry!

7Sun05WD 51.0.0 I got there with a few seconds to spare this time (and was so glad that I did!) Splattering and spluttering, this evacuation was more liquified than ever. But, I could sense… well, I could feel squidgy activity, brewing in the innards still! So, expecting another wet discharge was imminent, I remained  where I was and had a read of the ‘Catastrophy – Europe goes to war’ book, having now finished the Clarkson biography, I thought I’d get back to this exact detail-filled massive (Hardback 628 page) history book, filled 7Sun07awith so much delineation that, it is perfect for an opsimath like me.

And, I got it for only £10 reduced from £30, at The Works – discount store on Long Row in Nottingham City Centre.

As to whether I’ll live long enough to ever finish reading it, I don’t know. Hehehe! As I awaited the threatening onslaught of the third evacuation, I pondered on this thought. I decided that the cleverly manipulated changes in human behaviour, conduct, demeanour, outlook and accepted protocols, is of benefit to the elderly. Who surely must feel less bothered about snuffing it, seeing the madness of mankind, cruelty, lack of empathy and greed getting worse all the time? This train of thought, cheered me up a bit. I got side-tracked again there, sorry.

WD 51.0.0 The third evacuation arrived, less of it, but even wetter than the first two of the day! Nuff said again!

The tummy continues to emit warning signals, even now. The odd rumbling session and occasional little stabs, of mild discomfort. I fear things may be on the move yet again soon. Where the heck is it all coming from! I hope I will be able to get to the surgery tomorrow for the blood test and doctors visit.

Went on the TFZer Facebook page.

7Sun10Feeling peckish, so got a breakfast prepared. Chips, bits of Polish Pork Boczek, beetroot, tomatoes and onions.

Watched a YouTube Dvd while eating it. I nearly ate it all.

Went on CorelDraw to another try at getting some page header graphics done.

Managed to get a few done before Dizzy Dennis called again. I must mention this to the doctor in the morning.

Zombielike I just sat feeling sorry for myself…. fell asleep so early… but I needed it I think if only to escape the discomfort I was feeling.

Sister Jane rang. Not sure what was said. I do recall telling her of the side-effects of the Furosemide, I think.

Zzzz!

Inchcock – Sun 2 Dec 2018: I hate Weekends! Just thought I’d mention it, like. Tsk!

Sunday 2nd December 2018

Welsh: Dydd Sul 2 Rhagfyr 2018

23:25hrs: The brain woke up at the same time as my body this morning (rare! Hehe!) The mind was free of the usual fearful, apprehensive and vacillating thought-storm, for a change, no barrage from the encephalon today. But I did have a headache.

As I lay there, thinking ‘By gum, it feels all warm and snug this morning in here’, I moved the head and felt a bit of pain from the back of it? I had a feel around and found a tiny lump or bruise. But cannot recall anything happening that might have caused it? Well, at least it explains my headache. Hehe! Then again, this is not surprising, with my having had the Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun visits last night.

I unhitched my hog-like, outsize, paunchy-stomached body free of the £300 second-hand recliner, and made my way to the Porcelain Throne. Another firm-flatulent evacuation. During which, I spotted just three of the EIBWBBBs (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles). I cleaned up and antisepticated the hands and contact points.

7Sun02Then, adopted a Weevil-Seek and Destroy mode with the bug killer, in all of the rooms.

I’m pleased to report, that when I collected them all up, they counted to only nine, all dead EIBWBBBs in total! I reckon that mayhaps, the colder wet weather was helping keep these alien invaders down?

7Sun05I went to the kitchen to get the Health Checks done. I turned off the light to take this photograph out of the window of the rainy start to the day.

WD 128.0.128 Unfortunately, for me, this is when I spotted the light on in the stove and realised I had left the oven on all night!  What a nebbish!

WD 128.0.128 After taking the picture, and having the brainwave to use it as backing for my Thought of The Day; I left a finger in between the frame and the window casing as I closed it. I also believe I am a mashugana! I silently muttered something naughty under my breath!

Taking the medications, I added a stool softener capsule and Codeine Phosphate to the morning doses. The painkiller, to counter my headache, finger pain. Now Duodenal Donald is starting to kick in too. So, I had a decent guzzle of the ineffective, weak, not fit for purpose cheaper substitute for Aludrox medicine, named Peptac. Humph! At least Shaking Shaun is giving me a break. Odd moments of instability indicated that Dizzy Dennis seems to be lingering in the background, preparing an attack, though.

7Sun01

WD 128.0.128 Golly-gosh, the Sys, Dia and pulse readings were a little high?

I got on with updating the Saturday post. But did not get far…

7Sun07

Back on again… Tsk!

Finished the Saturday blog at last. 0500hrs!

Went on YouTube and dunked some biscuits.

Started this post off. 05:55hrs: Got up to here, and decided to get the laundry sorted out and done. Down and deposited the washing in the machine and back up to the apartment.

Hello, another Porcelain Throne visit called for?

7Sun10Watched some YouTube car crash videos, then back down to swap the clothes to the drier.

I took the recycling bag down with me to drop outside near the caretaker’s door with the others there already.

Down and out, The scaffolding is disappearing from around the foyer area outside, now. I put the big white bag of recyclable materials down 7Sun12and added my mint sauce jar and chestnut jar in the glass recycling bin.

They looked out-of-place mixed in with the other tenants, Chardonnay, lager, wine, Gin, whiskey, rum, and champagne bottles, etc.

When I emptied the drum, I found a tea-towel at the bottom that was not mine. Some poor soul had missed it earlier when taking their stuff out. I put it on the window ledge in clear view, so if they realise and come to have a look, it will be easy for them to spot it.

7Sun11I moved the things to the dryer, the filter was cleaned out, well done to whoever did it.

Two residents came in when I went out to take this photo on the left, of the rain puddles outside.

WD 128.0.128 They did not speak, nor did I because as they came into view, I had my camera up to my eye! I got a look of suspicious, surprise and superiority. (Work out what a look like this looks like if you can. Hehehe!)

Back again to the flat, and updated this blog, until it was time to go back to collect the clothing.

WD 128.0.128 Argh! A third visit to the Throne! Not good this! And a heavy duty one as well. A smidge of blood in there, too. Feeling uncomfortable in the lower regions now! Humph!

The alarm I set chimed out, and down to the laundry room again.

WD 128.0.128 I went to get one of the toothbrushes to clean the filter with, and they were gone? Used my fingers. Got the togs out and cleaned the drum with the antiseptic wipes I keep in the laundry bag.

Up to number 72 and got the clothing in the airing cupboard. Made-up the freshener and pod pots with new supplies and put back in the bag.

0900hrs: On the Inchcock Today blog amending.

1250hrs: Finished the blog updating. Many (SSWWs in between)

Weary and tired, I thought I’d have a sit down in the £300 second-hand recliner with a drink of spring water and lemon cordial, and watch a DVD. I soon fell asleep.

I woke to see the landline phone ringing light flashing. Escaping the grip of the recliner in time before it stopped, it was Sister Jane who rang.

WD 128.0.128 Unfortunately, as I was chatting, I realised that the fungal lesion had been bleeding and dried, and moving out of the chair had cracked things and started the flow of blood again! Huh! Lucky or what? Still, I chatted away with Jane as the blood flowed down my leg, and enjoyed it. Not the blood running down, I mean the Sister Jane chinwagging)

Off to the wet room to clean up and medicate things.

6Sat06Got the meal sorted and served up. I reckon if it weren’t for the Morrison’s anaemic, flavourless, plastic-like beef slices, this meal would have been one of the best ever this year, tastewise. The bean flavouring came out perfect for once, balsamic vinegar, half-a-spoon of demerara sugar, mustard and oregano. The potato slices cooked just how I like ’em. The yellow toms were tasty, too. 9/10 Taste Rating!

Health Checks were done, and I took this photo from the kitchen window as the sun suddenly came out.

6Sat07

The twinkle reflections were not planned or wanted, but it came out looking a bit different anyway.

I watched some TV (all of five minutes or thereabouts, Hehe!), before nodding off into dreamland.

TTFNski each.

Inchcock Sun 18th Dec 2018: Another lonely chinwagless weekend. Weevils still visiting. Humph! Ah-Well…

Zulu: NgeSonto 18 ngoNovemba 2018

WD146.0.0 0015hrs: Woke with a cracking headache over the left eye. On the plus side, I didn’t go through my usual unpleasant expergefactory process of self-discriminatory, nit-picking and fault finding of my day’s actions, decisions, worthlessnesses, and fears. I just lay there trying to work out why I was feeling so glumpse and nefastous with myself, almost self-hating, for the few psychotomimetic, awkward moments that lingered pesteringly.

I was saved from this mental dysphoria, by the summoning from the innards, for me to attend and utilise the Porcelain Throne.

I extracted my outsize, paunchy elephantine stomached torso from the £300 second-hand recliner with no bother or hassle whatsoever. (My EQ told me this would not last for 7Sun07along!) Off to the wet room.

WD146.0.0 As I was seated doing my duty, I scanned the floor of the room and spotted about seven of the Evil ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles.

Completed the evacuation, and gathered up the ‘all dead’ carcasses of the weevils. Put them in a paper towel, and said a few words over them as I wrapped them up, sprayed them with disinfectant and deposited them in the waste 7Sun07bin. Hehehe! They all seemed to be adults, which was worrying because the last week they have mostly been young ones?

In the spare room, I discovered more Weevils than of flat. EIBWBBB’s were scattered all around. Tsk!

Washed up, and off to the kitchen to get the Health Checks done.

7Sun05

7Sun10The Sys, Dia, and Pulse had all come down nicely.

Off for an SSWW.

This headache continues to grind on. Humph!

Made a brew (the last one went cold) and made a start on finalising the Saturday Diary. Got it posted off, and began to make this one up.

Went on Facebooking, a lot to catch up on this morning, with my not doing any yesterday due to the early arrival of Fatigue Francis.

I decided to take an extra painkiller, the aching head is getting worse I think. Ah-well!

Spend a good few hours on TFZer Facebooking, WordPress Reading, Comments etc. By the time I had got caught up with yesterday’s blog updating and posting, the headache had eased off.

Did some graphic titivating on CorelDraw for later.

7Sun24I tended to the ablutionisationing as soon as it was 0800hrs, and I could use the shower without disturbing my neighbours too early with the noise. Had a refreshing session, didn’t cut myself shaving. (Although, I managed to cut my gums with the toothbrush, Klutz!)

The view outside was decidedly different on the left to the right?

7Sun25Seeing my beloved Tree Copse looking so thinned out and sadly damaged more by yobboes cutting paths through from top to bottom, made me feel so depressed.

I decided to get out a bit for a bit of exercise and fresh air.

Thought I’d call at the Co-op to get some more apples to replace the Lidl Cox’s that had all got mouldy centres. I’d thrown them away.

Took two black bags to the waste chute. Paid a rather messy visit to the Porcelain Throne, cleaned up again. I gathered the bag, hearing aids inserted in the lug-holes, the correct 7Sun20glasses put on, put the gloves on, ensured I took the recycling jars and bag with me, made sure I had some money in my pocket, and set on my little hobble around the block, so’s to put it. See the tiny route map below left.

Down in the elevator, out of the lobby and to the recycling and glass bin.

7Sun21

I added my empty gherkin and vinegar bottle to the Thatchers Vintage Cyder, Peroni, wines, Champagne, Gin, Whiskey, Absynthe, Jack Daniels, Spirytus Rektyfikowany, Balkan, Zubrowka Bison, Huangiju, Kirsch, Cognac, Rum, Tequila, Lager, Freya Birch Spirit 40% Whisky Exchange, Black Cow pure milk Vodka 40%, Harrowgate Rum 40%, and Sangria bottles in the bin. I even found a bottle of a new one me; Brewmeister’s Armageddon beer (which has an incredible 65% abv according to the label)! I looked this beer up later and got this report: A Scottish brewery has created the world’s strongest beer — but a pint of Armageddon will cost drinkers a mind-blowing £80! Still, no good me being jealous. Hehehe!

7Sun27Over the road and off up the gravel hill path to the Woodthorpe Grange Park. Hippy Hilda and Arthur Itis being no bother whatsoever! Off course, Anne Gyna didn’t like the going uphill.

WD146.0.0 At the top, I took this sad photo of the once beautiful thick tree copse. Looking rather threadbare and frayed now. Heartbreaking, for a nemophilist like me!
Waking down the path to the Mansfield Road gate, and doing a bit of nephelococcygia (the act of finding shapes in clouds), daydreaming, and 7Sun28watching the dogs taking their owners for a game of ball – I was suddenly feeling so contented, comfortable and warm. Despite the sunshine producing no heat.

WD146.0.0 It had to happen, a rabid 6’6″ young Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, shot speedily by me while I was standing still watching the clouds (Well, one has to have a hobby. Hahaha!) And the git belted by me so close, it made me jump a little. Oy Vey, the Nudnik!

7Sun29 No longer in my contented frame of mind, thanks to the Herbert on the bike, I plodded on out of the park and up and over the hill into Sherwood.

I called in the Charity shop to see if I could find a John Q or The Negotiator DVDs. No luck.

Out and down to the Wilko store and had a look around. I came out with kitchen rolls, some nibbles for the Social box and a bottle of washing-up liquid.

Paid the lady, and out into the oh so cold sunshine. Up the road and into the Co-op store. Leaving there with some fresh tomatoes, oven chips, marshmallows and Cox’s apples, hopefully, these will not have rotten cores like the Lidl ones did.

7Sun31Down the hill, and left starting off up the dreaded Anne Gyna prompting Winchester Street Hill.

I did notice an unusual shape in one of the bigger clouds, just out of interest, can you also see it? Think eagle

Anne Gyna soon started to complain as I walked up the incline.

When I got up to Cavendish Vale, I turned into the road to take this view of all three components of Winwood Heights. Woodthorpe Court on the left, the new Extra Care block and Sturmscharführeress Warden’s Offices in the centre, and Winchester Court on the right.

7Sun34

Note the old Volkswagon car? ‘K’ registrations, that would be a 1971 VW Fastback Mark 3 with the 1.6H engine, I think.

7Sun34a

I moved on up the hill again and came across these flowers/plant sticking above the fencing further up. I’ven o idea what they are, but they do look just like the ‘Special White Radishes’ I got from Sainsbury’s last week? Apparently, they are not them, but they did remind me of those radishes. More pointless waffle, Sorry!

7Sun34bAs far as I could tell, up near the garages on Winchester Street, the Mystery Workers Boots and little bin had both vanished! Being replaced with the larger, somewhat rusty container. Nottinghamian Street Art at its finest! Hehe!

The short way up to the top of the hill, and left into Chestnut Walk.

7Sun35a

I took the opportunity to picture the scene in front of me. The barren and abandoned looking, lonely, unpopulated view of my beloved Winwood Heights.

In the complex, I didn’t see a soul all day again. Gawd, I hate Chinwagless Weekends!

Got in the flat and Fatigue Francis dawned, earlier than ever on me. Did the Health Checks.

7Sun38Prepped the fodder and got it served up.

A few of the chips I’d bought, the gherkins, tomatoes, fried dried onions, Cox’s apple and a buttered pork sarnie. Followed by a pot of lemon mousse.

I ate it all up, wished I’d done more chips, though. A well deserved Flavour Rating of 9.3/10 was given!

I’m afraid the blues joined in with the weariness and all I did then (Apart from having many SWWWs, medications and the last Health Check in between getting up to check repeatedly that I had not left any taps on). (I’m going bonkers here you know!) Was to watch a DVD film, Seagal’s ‘Glimmer Man’. But after many nod-offs and rewinds, I gave up. Tsk!
