GM2turq03 WD 150.0.100 01:25hrs: The much-hated all-around ‘Hum’ noise sounded for forceful than ever, as I was abruptly roused into a simulated form of life. Then, I so many things became noticeable by their strangeness and unusuality. And Confusion Conrad took over my thought processing for a short while, well, a fair bit of time actually! Which in my responses to, caused me a few injuries, but at least woke me up entirely. Hehehe! (Not funny at the time, mind!)

WD 150.0.100 I felt the chilly draft coming in through the wide-open balcony door. What?

WD 150.0.100 As I moved to get my lumbering wobbly-body out of the recliner to shut the doors, I realised I had all sorts of weird and wonderful things all over and around me! Pairs of washed socks, a bath towel, a bottle of mineral water, and packets of instant mashed potatoes and other stuff?

WD 150.0.100 Throwing the things off of my body to get to close the door quickly, I knocked many things off of the Ottoman.

wd 150.0.100A And stubbed the end of my foot against the metal swivel chair leg. The pain from the overgrown toenails was excruciating!

WD 150.0.100 wd 150.0.100AI got to the sliding doors, and hurriedly closed it. Trapping my right thumb! Argh!

I turned around, and the room looked like it had just been bombed! What the hell had happened? I could only think of one explanation. Nocturnal Phantasma Wanderings, yes, sleepwalking. It had to be somnambulism of some kind, indeed. I recalled yesterday’s moments of being temporarily out-of-it, was this a follow on?

As the scene was identified and the realisation that I was not dreaming sank in, then I started to panic. “What other acts of silliness had I unconsciously done in the rest of the flat?” I was about to set off to investigate, and the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived suddenly and urgently (I thought). So off to the wet room, which looked like I’d left it last night, thankfully.

WD 150.0.100 But Constipation Konrad ensured nothing was evacuated this time. Rock Solid! I did manage a weak dribbling wee-wee, though. You watch, in a few hours, I bet things change again, and Trotsky Terence gets the upper-hand. Tsk!

A quick clean up and I nervously started my search for any damage from my (assumed), noctambulations, in the kitchen.

1Mon001WD 150.0.100 I found that I’d washed a shirt and left it soaking in the bowl in the sink? The place looked like a right mess and unkempt, but this is normal. Humph! I got the shirt rinsed, fabric softened, all done, wrung and hung.

The mystery of why and how the socks were found already hanging on the rail, was not of interest to me at this time. The mind can only cope with so much.

1Mon01I got the kettle on the boil, got a mug prepped with a Thompson Punjana tea bag, and tool a photographicalisation of the morning sky, with the moon partially covered with clouds. I can use this snap later as a background for a thought’s graphic. The mind kept jumping from one thing to another topic, always.

1Mon02wd 150.0.100A As I got the milk from the depths of the refrigerator, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down, and the jug slipped from my grasp. I was impressed with myself, how I managed not to drop the pottery! Then cleaned up the milk form my naked stomach, jammy bottoms and off of the floor. Made the brew, took the medications, olive-oiled the eardrums, sprayed Saccades eyes, and made up a black waste bag.

It has been a hectic morning so far. Whoopsies, Accifauxpas, frustrations and confusion. An everyday start, really for me. I do hope that the NHS R4Vad people look seriously into the questionnaire results, on Vascula Dementia, cause I’m beginning to fret a bit over my recent mind-fumblings.

Got on the computer, faffled about on different things, no concentration this morning now. I found an email from Jenny. She has got the lemon bleach for me. Also, she’d bought some lemon mousse which she knows I’ve been struggling to find, bless her, how kind. I got the money and wrapped it in a bag, put the plonk and bits I’ve got for her and Frank, and into a carrier bag. Put it near the door to remind me, when Jen rings to let me know she’s coming,

I’ll put it outside for her to collect as we swap bags. Lovely! ♥

This reminded me about cancelling the Government food parcel, so I got the address off of the letter and went on to the Government site to follow the instructions and change things. It said to reregister and click ‘Yes’ on “Do you have a way of getting essential supplies delivered” Will stop the supply. So I did.

1Mon05b

I was pleased with the ease of getting it done. Smug-Mode-Utilised! Haha!

Both camera batteries were showing low, so I got them on charging. I got on and updated the gloomy Sunday diary. Nicodemus was acting kind towards me, but Duodenal Donald and Toothache Tim were beginning to bother me. Can’t win them all!

Went onto Pinterest, then WordPress Reader and comments, well, comment.

0530hrs: I went on another Porcelain throne visit, but that was a failure too! Things felt Rock-Solid in there. Oh, dearie me! So, I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea.

1Mon04a

What a surprise when I saw the fog!

I made a start on this blog; then I had to go on CorelDraw to catch up with the graphicalising.

1Mon06The doorbells chimed out, it was Jenny, who’d left the bleach and lemon Mousse in a bag for me outside the door. She hadn’t warned me she was on the way, so I hadn’t put the payment, wine and nibbles out for her to collect. I called her on the phone and thought I’d be able to ask her my phone number which I forgot and lost the book with the list in. Klump! She was busy, so I didn’t ask her with asking, just thanked her, and she said no hurry. Wonderful woman!

I carried on with the CorelDrawing.

Five hours later, (12:30hrs) Humph!, I phoned ILC, Obersturmführeresses and Catwalk Model Warden Deana. I had to bother her, to get Caretaker Robert’s telephone number, that was lost with the notepad of numbers. Tsk! She didn’t give it to me but kindly asked what I wanted him for, and she passed on the message, asking him if he could call to collect some bags I could not carry to the waste chute. Walking is currently the at it most painful, with the toenails etc.

The blood nurse is not coming until the 12th; I will beg her then to phone the clinic for me to see if anything can be done to assist me in getting the nails cut.

I started to make a template in advance, on WordPress and CorelDraw.

Late now, I should be getting the meal prepared cheesy potatoes and, erm, er, maybe, perhaps. I’ll have a look at what’s available int fridge and freezer.

WD 150.0.100 Ah, that changes the plan! The Leicester grated cheese, with a use-by-date of 27th May printed on it, has gone mouldy! So, agravannoying!

13:40hrs: Hello, the innards are telling me I need to use the Porcelain Throne again. But I dare not, in case the caretaker calls. Oh, dear!

Ah, well, another think on the fodder finding for my food. I have some halloumi cheese sticks, a packet of BBQ skewers, and I can have them with some frozen peas, methinks. Mind you, I’m not hungry, really, now. I was tired, yes.

I’ll have a go on Facebooking, while I wait for Robert to arrive. No, No, I won’t! I’ll see if I can get an order in for Morrisons, I could get an order without waiting for three weeks this time. I’ll give it a try!

WD 150.0.100 Got all confused, the delivery pass was not accepting my card, the same one I pay for the Groceries with! After much kerfuffle, I gave up. But, I still got an order in, for three weeks. Original order is coming tomorrow morning, and Iceland later. At least I’ve got some batteries on the list; if they arrive. I can listen to the radio in the wet room again.

I went to check on the bags at the door, and they were all gone. Bar a bag of glass jars) I struggled to get the wheeler-guide going, and went to limped down to take the bag of recyclable glass jars, and they had gone? I was a bit concerned about the caretaker, if it was him who fetched the bags for me, was not communicating with me? I got down and found him, he was a new face, (I hope Robert is on holiday and not poorly) and he had not fetched the bags, a ‘woman’ did?

With well-aching feet and toes, I limped to the lift, and dropped off the bag for Jenny at her door and rang the bell. She’ll sort out who deserves them for me.

1Mon06bThen I got the ablutions sorted out. Another mystery, but a nice-one: Shaking Shaun, Nicodemus’s nerve-end failures, Anne Gyna and Dizzy Dennis were all so kind to me. The dropsies were only six, and little bleeding. Which was pleasing, but the toes, feet and Arthur’s knees were bothersome.

1Mon06CGoing to the kitchen afterwards, I saw the change of getting a moody-photo in, using the strong evening sunshine and the shadows. I did notice that both legs had gone thin, which in contrast to my wibbly-wobbly gross stomach hanging out all over the place, which gave me the guilts.

1Mon06aI got the meal prepared and served up, and a decent one it was. Those naturally Imperfect chips are the best of the frozen ones I’ve ever had. Overall, a flavour-rating of 705/10.

WD 150.0.100 Again, the sweet-Morpheus refused to come. Sleep deprivation seems to be the thing nowadays, with the lock-down. I bet a lot of others have it as well. Especially the poor devils with neighbours above who play music and watch TV at full-blast every night! They should do what I do, and invest in a pair of headphones so that others can get some sleep, and they can still watch their telly.

WD 150.0.100I watched the TV and nodded-off, woke, watched some TV and nodded-off… for hours and hours repeatedly, before finally getting off to blissful sleep.

WD 150.0.100 Then had to get up when the innards started rumbling, to visit the Throne Room. I struggled and failed to pass again.

Back in the c1968 recliner, I changed to a radio station, some classical music was found, and slowly but surely, the Thought-Storms abated, and I was drifting off, at last…

WD 150.0.100 The landline burst forth its ring and flashed. It took me a few seconds to respond, I struggled out of the chair, banged my elbow on the Ottoman as I nearly lost my balance; silently swore, and two paces to the phone… and it stopped ringing! Grobblecockski!

I got back down again, and it took ages before I’d unwound enough to get some sleep!

WDPrightWD 150.0.100 Again, I was on the verge of slipping into bliss, and the Pillow-Shaker Fire alarm activated! False alarms have occurred a lot of times. The NCH bloke said it is when someone on Blue-tooth on a similar band is using something on their internet or ethernet, laptop, computer or Ipad thingies? Anyway, I had to get up just to check, but there was no alarm on-site or Fire Brigade attended.

I gave up, got up, knocked the bottle of water off of the Ottoman, and did some imitation cleaning in the kitchen. Hey-Ho!

00 May 02

GM00303:25hrs: I woke after a nightmare-ridden kip. I lay a few moments trying to recall anything about the dreams, but only the fact that they were about my past failures and mistakes came to mind, nothing concrete, no details or facts.

WD 50.0.0 Then, as the brain slowly engaged gear, yesterday’s memory blanks were pondered over. I decided, that as soon as, well, if, things get back to normal again, I must get in touch with the Vascular Dementia Group, if I can find their details, and mention the increase in the ‘Out of it’ episodes I’m having. I was more worried about it, this time, for some reason. Within seconds, the recently regular need for the Porcelain Throne arrived and distracted my thinking.

I painfully disentangled my surprisingly twisted and yet sprawled over everywhere humongous body from the recliner. I knew walking was not going to easy today (Well, when is it?). RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis), the feet souls and the overgrown toenails, all gave me hassle on the way to the wet room. I did notice that the nibble pots from last night, seem top have been untouched. Nibbled-less?

WDP001However, the session went well, indeed, much easier than yesterday. Barely any bleeding from the rear end and Little Inchies fungal lesion had not been bleeding at all! Wonder-fabulous! Not as hurtful, and over quicker too! Oh, Yes!

I cleaned up and medicated things, and hobbled, taking extreme and concentrating on not to get any toe-stubbings, to the kitchen.

6Sat01There was a slowness to my thoughts this morning. Not necessarily a bad thing, I think.

Before I turned on the light, I spotted the partial moon through the thick-framed, light and view-blocking window. I got the kettle on made a brew of Glengettie Gold, and took a photo as best I could of the morning 6Sat02view.

Then I decided to get the handwashing sorted out. This is an example of what happened yesterday, the mind kept changing priorities and forgetting what was going on before. I got the togs done, wrung and hung, and the tea had gone cold!

WD 50.0.0 So, I made another and remembered belatedly to take the morning medications. Realising, as I got the pill-dispenser out, that I had not taken last nights doses! This was not a very promising start to the day, Konrad Confusion seemed to be in charge again, not Inchcock!

Sorry if this sounds confusing, but it was to me, baffling!: When I got on the computer, I even jumped between tasks, it was all very disconcerting. Instead of getting on with the urgent need to update the Friday post first, I got the photo’s uploaded, resized and then instead of putting them in yesterday’s diary, I started to create the template for this blog? In the middle of doing this, I checked the Emails. Found one I’d missed somehow, from Jenny, and wrote a reply. Then, not back to this blog, or the Friday one, oh, no! I made up a Thought graphic on CorelDraw. I needed to get a grip!

I started the updating on Friday’s blog.  Pressed on, and got it done with relative ease, but still with problems that delayed me somewhat. This was because Nicodemus, Saccades-Sandra, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley and Shaking Shaun, were all being so kind to me, too. No, the addled-brain is the guilty party this time!

I got it finished and tried to concentrate harder. I got the link emailed off. Put some bits on Pinterest. Went on the WordPress reader. Then did some Facebooking, and commenting.

6Sat03Back to the Porcelain Throne again. Although Arthur Itis was getting a little painful again, I think the knees were looking much better than yesterday. The faces in the patellas had morphed changed. Hehehe! The evacuation was another decent one too! Still, Constipation Conrad drove, but far less bothersome.

6Sat05aI got a wash, and off to the kitchen, to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

I investigated the options for the nosh later. I had a check on the freebie potatoes and found they had roots growing out of them. So I removed them, it took me a while to get them sorted out. I got them cooking in the crock-pot on a low setting. Added some vinegar and salt and cleaned up the counter. Made the brew, took the midday med’s a little early, I know, but at least I remembered them this time. Hahaha!

The plan was to have them with some peas and the steak that is on its last use-by date in the fridge.

WD 50.0.0 I spotted some dogs walking their owners in the bottom field, and went to fetch the camera. But, could I find it? No! Bemused, I fossicked around, getting more and more frustrated with myself. I found the old camera eventually, not the new one yet, and gathered it and returned to the kitchen window.

WDP 003lrWD 50.0.0 WD 50.0.0A The bottom field was devoid of any tellurians of any type by then. The tea had gone cold! I’d left the hot water tap running, and that was cold! And I felt a right twit then! I’d had the Panasonic camera in my pocket all the time! As scatterbrains, simpletons and schnooks go, I must be in line for some sort of medal or award by now, surely?

WDP Dec 26bWD 50.0.0 I made another brew, Morrisons Extra Strong Assam this time, and returned with it to the computer. I’d sat down for only a few seconds, with the aim of getting this blog further updated, and Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shaking Shirley and Saccades Sandra all came at me at the same time! They seemed to be working in unison?

WDPH01LHowever, after having me holding on to the cupboard to prevent my toppling out of the chair, and thinking how lucky I was, that this didn’t happen while I stood up; within a couple of minutes, all three had departed my body!

What’s going on here?

6Sat10The all-around Hum, suddenly grew in volume again, just like yesterday. Annoying, enough to drive one mad!

I was sat there typing, listening to the mind-destroying ‘Hum’, and a few clangs from above, and I am sure I heard a noise that sounded like things clattering to the floor from within the flat. Off to investigate. I got distracted from my search when I checked the hallway. When I saw a large official-looking envelope near the door, I became twitchy. wrought-up, and adrenalised. I had no option but to open it straight away to find out what it was all about. Which I did!

WD 50.0.0 It was a dirty great 20 page A4 two-sided Questionnaire from the Vascular Dementia R4VaD (Whatever R4VaD is). Twenty pages!

This is going to be a challenge I thought I’d better make a start on it.

Back in a bit…

I was side-tracked for the first stand-alone wee-wee of the day. (It had to come, Haha!) Wot-a-shocker it was too! Or rather, wasn’t! It turned out to be a TBKIWAWBC (The-Bladder-6Sat15Know-It-Wants-A-Wee-But-Can’t!) version.

An hour -and-three-quarters later, I’d got the questionnaire filled in. Phew!

I espied some dog walkers as I was doing the paperwork, and thought I’d try to take some snaps of them. But it was a rushed affair, and I didn’t really zoom in enough, but still, I tried my bestest.

6Sat14

I gathered the black bags together, put some on the Trolley-Guide, and got the large envelope sealed and took it with me to post it. I’m not going to risk walking out with the stick like the other day, too risky! A bit of a messy job hobbling with five bags, pushing the walker, and trying not to crease the envelope up. I got the waste chute utilised and rid myself of the bags.

I got down in the lift and went to walk through Winwood Court for the first time for a few weeks.

6Sat28

Aha, blocked-off! Fair enough. So I made my way back through Woodthorpe Court and out into the sunshine on Chestnut Walk, to limp up to the post box.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

6Sat22Plenty of yobboes about on their bikes and skateboards up and down the road. Many residents coming and going in taxis too. The sunshine was reasonable, a breeze helped.

I stopped a moment or two for some pain relief and took a snap of my beloved Woodthorpe Court from outside the Extra Care Winwood Court.

Made my way back, and could not believe how long it had taken me to walk a few hundred yards to the post-box and back!

WD 50.0.0 Scotty opened the door for me to get in, and I was so glad he was there, cause I’d not taken the key fob with me!

I know, I know! I’m a Yolop!

Still, Scotty and I had a little natter from a distance. Really enjoyed it, nowt serious and we had a laugh or two! He’d had to take a seat, to recover from carrying hos booze from the taxi. Hahaha! Jealousy showing up hear! Hehe!

6Sat24I got the one-day out-of-date beef in the oven. And for the next forty minutes or so updated this diary.

I closed everything down, drained but worried cause I thought I’d forgotten something important I had to do? Grobbledangerations!

6Sat28I still do now.

Got the nosh sorted out. Last of the fresh spuds, steak, a can of vegetables sausages and beans. The steak reminded me of when Dad went out into the yard and worked on his shoe mending cobbling lark. But he had an easier job to cut through the leather! Hehe! Rating 6/10.

I got the pots washed, took the medications, and settled in the recliner to watch a film on the TV. Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shuddering Shirley, and constant Thought Storms ruined things.

Inchcockski – Wed 22 Apr 2020: Mental and physical purgatory. Humph!

April 22

2020 ttttApr22

Wednesday 22nd April 2020

Latin: Die 22 Aprilis MMXX

000 April 22

01:20hrs: I woke with Duodenal stinging away, and I was fretting over the Diabetes course link not working later on. To my feet, and the regular wee-wee was taken, another WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) variety.

I was reminded of my sitting on and breaking the new headphone last night, as I spotted them looking in a sad state hanging off of the £300, second-hand rickety-recliner. Well, they lasted about four months, I think.

WD 69.0.69 2Tue11I made a brew, took the medications and had a look for the latest (Yesterdays only found, too early for today).

Cleaned and disinfected the emergency wee-wee bucket, had a quick wash, and onto the computer to start the updating of the diary.

Which was cut short by the arrival of the Porcelain Throne being needed, and off to the wet room I limped. What a change this time. The pain was far less, but the evacuation was so sticky and messy, runny, and had an aroma more fouler than yesterdays!

Pressed on with the blog (for several hours), got it finished and sent off the links via email. Then on Pinterest, WordPress Reader and next, The TFZer Facebooking.

Had to make a couple of graphics for today’s post.

Back to the Porcelain Throne for a second visit. Exactly like the first one, but I think the pain was a bit less this time. Duodenal Donald was giving some stick still.

3Wed03Handwashing was done, rung and hung.

Had a bit of off-time on U-Tube, then got the ablutions sorted out. At a cost!

WD 69.0.69 WD 69.0.69A Whatta-a-farce! It suited this Klutz, come farceur Inchcock down to the ground, ideally! But at least the ablutions went differently than usual. With new Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxpas. Oh, Yes!

  • On getting in the room, the third use of the Porcelain Throne was needed. Messy, smelly and not much evacuated.
  • Cut gum on the toothbrush. Dropped toothbrush and then razors several times.
  • Dropped the mouthwash bottle! (It burst open after landing on my foot!)
  • Bent down, holding onto the sink, to get the plastic bottle, and the squashing caused Little Inchies fungal lesion to start bleeding. So, more hassle to sort out!

WD 69.0.69 Bigger farce than the ablutions, I tried to get on the Zoom site, for the Diabetes course. As they (Ingeus) said, at 09:30hrs.

So, I downloaded it, where to I have no idea, but the screen stayed the same, other than telling me ‘The meeting has not started” and the sad Ingeus people told my to log-on at 09:30hrs for the 10:00 session? The message kept repeating and putting cookies on the computer every 5 seconds? Pressed load and run again. 3Wed10aNothing changed. Totally lost now, I left it running.

Tried again, and thought I was getting somewhere. Zoom wanted to know the meeting I needed to get into. No idea what to put, so I typed in Ingeus prediabetes. But it would not allow any spaces in the block. So, I pressed to join.

This led me to a page wanting a password, email, date of birth etc. So I filled them in.

Well fancy that, I got thrown out for Invalid meeting ID. (3,001).

3Wed12 (2)

I think I recall mentioning three or four weeks ago when they first contacted me about this conference type meeting, that I thought, with Ingeus involved, it’s not going to go right. Huh! Spot on Inchock!

The phone chirped, and it was Caroline (I think), from the direct support team. At the time, I was in pain from Duodenal Donald and was up all uptight about the Porcelain Throne visits and my not getting through to Zoom for the meeting.

I went on the Zoom site again, and realised that my stupidity knew in limits! Either they had changed the day to the 23rd, or (more likely) I’d put it down for the wrong day on Google Calendar! I could and do cringe at myself!

I’m not sure how it got it, but I am now a member of Zoom?

3Wed14Just think; I’ve got this to go through again now, in the morning! Hoggledruidisations!

I really am getting wee’d off with myself. What a Chaleria of a Nebech!

I hobbed and wobbled off to get Porcelain Throne visit number five, I think. Huh! Constipation Konrad has been instantly replaced with Trotsky Terence!

Well, I discovered I’d got spots and blemishes all over the body!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

3Wed02I washed and medicated certain delicate areas after the visit to the Throne.

Incidentally, the reconstructed taped together little clock I broke, twice, is still working! A tiny speck of success in my accident-prone, ill-fated, pointless existence! Of course, any iota of victories I may have always fallen under the umbrella of the ‘It didn’t really matter anyway’ section. Tsk! But they do help keep me just this safeish-side of the ‘Losing all hope’ barrier.

Got the nosh sorted out, I’d have prefered getting the brain and mind sorted out, but why dream of the impossible? (Blimus, I’m going bonkers here – what a wassuck!

I was a little concerned in my choice of having the maple marinated lamb steaks, with Duodenal Donald playing up. But my spirits after making one of my more-stupid cock-ups over the timing of the Diabetes meeting, and getting myself all heck-up, I was in an even lower than earlier. So stayed with the lamb idea, which may prove to be a nasty mistake later. But was I bovvered? Nae!

4Thu01I sorted the meal prepping. Got the lamb in the oven, they are thin slices so only need twenty minutes to cook. Checked the mushrooms were cooked and added them to the can of curried beans, with a splash of hickory. By then, the meal was ready to be served up. Smashing! Taste rating, 7/10.

Enjoyed the meal no-end. Up to now, no reactions from Duodenal Donald, he’s not any worse than he has been all day.

I got the things washed up. I imagine my guilt at getting things all mixed up again earlier on, made me decide to get some cleaning done, for I knew how painful it would be. Maybe not precisely self-flagellation (perhaps purgation, though), but my indeterministic frame of mind thought it a good idea.

WD 69.0.69A I got some black bags made up and limped to the waste chute. I trapped my hand in the chute and broke the elastic band on the alarm alert bracelet. But the alarm itself bounced away from the chute and landed on the floor. I cannot remember feeling more relieved for months. Phew! If it had gone down to the bins twelve floors below, it would probably have been the deciding factor in my wish to carry on. But, there it was, in the middle of so many things on my mind; my Zoom cock-up, Duodenal Donald now getting worse, the confused state of mind, came a little good luck!

WD 69.0.69A I almost cheered up, turned to leave the waste cubby-hole, and gave myself a crackingly painful toe-stubbing on the door edge! As I limped, slightly more than usual back to the flat, the good luck that I was over the moon about minutes earlier, faded.

WD 69.0.69 I planned to get the kitchen floor mopped up next, but I’d left the tap running while I was out, and no hot water was available. (Had this been a ploy from me, to avoid the cleaning? I don’t know!) I decided to boil the kettle and clean the floor edges of the cupboards by hand. Surprising myself at getting back up on my feet each time, with less bother than I usually have? Life is so confusing, especially to the already confused!

WD 69.0.69 Duodenal Donald was getting worse, a lot worse. So I lamely gave up on the cleaning and took the evening medications, with gulps of the ineffective Peptic medicine. I dare not take any extra painkillers with the others, so gritted my teeth instead. (Hahaha!)

WD 69.0.69 I settled to watch some TV. Surprisingly, with it being so early yet, I nodded off into the land of bliss! Which was broken, by the ‘Klunk-Bang-Tap-tap-Knocking’, coming from somewhere above the flat? I was niggled at this breaking my precious sleep at first. Then realised how early it was still, so irked, but not worried about the ‘Klunk-Bang-Tap-tap-Knocking’, not this early. It might have been Herbert doing his models, a repairman or anything, it didn’t matter. I was the oddity for trying to sleep so early, to catch-up on missed kip.

So, I got up, pants on, and tried to do some more cleaning up. The door buzzer rang out. It was the catwalk model, Obersturmführeress Warden Deana, just checking, that was nice. Pleasant to have a little Socially distanced chinwag.

I got back into the night attire (Well, stripped off). And into the £300, second-hand, not-working, rickety recliner. Pulled the bobble cap over the eyes, and went in search of some rest, sleep, sweet Morpheous…

The ‘Klunk-Bang-Tap-tap-Knocking’ started again and was persistent this time. All one could do was to try and put up with it. Eventually, it stopped, but by then, I was so agitated about not sleeping, it was hard to get any.

GM cap01b WD 128.0.0 04:25hrs: I woke up, with what I thought was perhaps the most urgent ever need for a wee-wee! I sort of rolled out of the £300, second-hand, none-working, c1968 rickety recliner, and fell forwards to the sound of a thud-thud, as the poor old knees hit the deck, and oaths flowed, and panic gripped me! The pain was almost ignored, in my desperate efforts to get to the bucket in time!

WDP 03LWD 128.0.0 It seemed to take an aeon to get to my feet again, and I made a frantic lunge for the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket), as I whipped the jammie bottoms down. Ever felt a right fool? I did! Absolutely nothing happened for a couple of minutes! Then slowly but surely, I felt the progress being made through my innard’s tubes, as the pain increased as the liquid neared its escape hatch, Little Inchy. It still took more time, some grimacing, and forceful encouragement to get things started.

I burst forth with several viable verses of Argh, argh, argh! Arghhh! Argh! As the pathetic yet so uncomfortable trickle took a few more minutes, and barely covered the bottom the of the bucket! Mmm? I must have another urine infection. What with Constipated Konrad in charge at the rear end, movements were a problem already, without this as well. Tsk! Wallupfestations, Finglegloberisations, and Dangwangles! and a Humph as well!

WD 128.0.0 The final insult, if that is the right word, Little Inchies fungal lesion started to pour blood! It squirted upwards and went over the nightshirt. However, a soothing few words from EQ; “Don’t fret over this, mate, or what’s coming soon will really get to you!” Actually calmed me down a bit, and by the time I’d limped carefully with wide-apart little steps, to the wet room, things were being accepted without too much annoyance. I went through the cleaning and medicationalisationing with the usual gritted teeth, but not feeling sorry for myself. True! The applying of the Betamethasone corticosteroid cream, was actually less painful than it usually is?

I cleaned up, took off the shirt and changed into new PPs. Hobbling at a steady rate as well, to the kitchen, I found I was singing to myself, mostly Billy Fury and Rick Nelson stuff, as I got the kettle on. (Important things first, you know!) I even felt a smidge proud of my decision to put the teabag pots on the floor, so I could get at least some exercise in. Haha!

I took the medications and made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea. As I was taking it into the junk-computer room, it was as if someone had poked Duodenal Donald into life, and he was not in a happy mood at all with me. I returned to have a few good swigs of the inept, none-effective Peptac medicine, in a most likely failed attempt to ease the stabbing pains from Donald. I decided to take a Macrodol as well, cause I reckon that Constipation Conrad is still having a go at me, no signs of any Porcelain Throne needs yet, and this is very rare.

I had to stop on the computer to get the ablutions done in case the Nurse arrives early to take the blood sample.

Off to the wet room. A marvellous start, I must say!

1Mon05aWD 128.0.0 I picked up the clock I dropped into the WC yesterday, off of the shower chair. And dropped it again! It’s now in a few more pieces. Well, Gruelling-Gromble-Garblisations! With a double Tsk!, thrown in! The teeth cleaning went injury-free. The shaving brought a couple of minor cuts. Dropsies were the carbolic soap. (Well, I am using the carbolic longer than usual, and it’s getting smaller all the time, Hehe!) The razors (3), the Foam spray, and towel were the only other dropsies, so, not too bad.

WD 128.0.0 I did struggle in getting the smaller PPs on and banged the shin, knees and elbow as I flailed about to keep from going over from Dizzy Dennis’s input. But, I’ve had far worse.

Back to the computer, and the landline rang. It was Jenny, bless her, asking how I was, and if I needed anything ordering on her Sainsbury’s order, she’d managed to get through. I asked for a bottle of bleach, not that I am desperate now, but you never know! Bless her ♥!

2Tue02I decided before starting on the computer, to get some cleaning up done. Smug-Mode Adopted! I made a start by doing the handwashing, not a lot, but needed all the same.

2Tue01I used the unexpectedly delivered from Morrisons, Comfort fabric conditioner. The bottle indicated it was Intense. Which is possibly why I ordered it, all of six weeks ago!

WD 128.0.0 Gawd, it funked something awful! I can’t believe that anyone would put such a disgusting scent like this in any washing product. Eurgh! I had to get my nose right in the spout to smell anything. Then when I did, I regretted it! Foul! I added some lemon disinfectant in it, but I’ll 2Tue08anot give it away, it wouldn’t be fair on anyone to do that and have their clothes stinking of it! No wonder it was on Special Offer!

Then, I moved the moving carpet back to its’ proper position and tried to straighten it.

2Tue07Then the real challenge. The stumper, the pitfall or bugaboo! The nerve-testing, pain-giving task of cleaning the electric fire surround! I purposely did it now, then if I could not get back up off of the floor again, at least the nurse might be coming shortly and might rescue me, as Nurse Hristina had to do a fortnight ago! I didn’t do a good job of it, but at least it looked better than before.

I sensed that Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding again, so when the washing was done, wrung, and hung, I went into the wet room to have a look at the lesion. No bleeding as such, just a tiny bit of leaking.

2Tue09WD 128.0.0  But, by gum, the legs were looking particularly welmish, yellowish? The knees anyway. Not surprising really, they have been through it this morning. They can be vagarious in appearance at the best of times. The drop out of the chair onto them, then the ablutionary batterings they took. Tsk! I could be arrested for cruelty to Arthur Itis’s Rheumatoid knees, I think! Hahaha!

The intercom rang and flashed, it was the Phlebotomy nurse. I think her name is Sheila, she’s been before, and a cheery soul and gal. We had a patient natter while she took the blood patiently. She soon had done. Bless her cotton socks! ♥ I handed her the things that had been duplicated with the unexpected Morrison order arriving a day after the Iceland one had. Shortcake, tomatoes and something else, I forget now. But they were all only going to go off if I’d kept onto the, so she did me a favour.

2Tue21I got on with updating this blog to here, then went on the TFZer Facebooking to catch up. Then on the WordPress Reader section.

Looked at the latest figures for Coronvirus in Nott’s, from the Morringham Post site.

2Tue11Had cracking Dennis Dizzy spell while I was doing this.

Once again a violent. Unsettling but a very short one. Unnerving.

There is a programme on TV tonight, about the Flu Pandemic of 1918. If I stay awake long enough.

WD 128.0.0 An Email from ‘Zoom’ who are running the video lesson for the Diatbeted course arrived. I couldn’t get anything to work at all. Got in the email, I clicked the link, pressed save file and got this screen up. But didn’t have a down arrow on the above where it told me to click on the icon. Lost now! I do not think I will be able to join them in the morning at 09:30 hours as instructed.

2Tue22

2Tue13WDP 003lrI’ll see how it goes when I try to get on in the morning.

Life is a frustrating bind nowadays!

The session was a repeat of the last one, but shorter in duration, painful.

The pins (legs) had calmed down a lot. Clopidogrel affects had lessened from earlier.

2Tue14Got a rather special meal. Sweet potato fritters, tomatoes, skewer thingamajigs, and turkey lumps. A wholemeal cob, lemon yoghourt and a can of the Clementine juice.

Flavour: 8/10 for this one.

Did the washing up. Jiggled the handwashing 2Tue15onto the airer. Then went to the wet room to try to pass water (formally know as ‘have a wee-wee’), but only managed a hurtful trickle. Had a wash and brush-up.

Duodenal Donald gave me some stick again.

Back to get the jammies on.

Blimey, the pins were still warped, but signs of the Clopidogrel and vein eruptions had almost vanished!

I should write a book “The Ever-Changing Legs!” Hehehe!

I got settled in the £300 second-hand, rickety recliner. Getting set to watch the 1918 Flu Pandemic documentary.

G2Tue16ot the headphones on and watched the end of the preceding programme.

WD 128.0.0 Unfortunately, I then nodded off. When I woke up a few minutes later, there was no sound coming from the headphones? I checked the cable-plug was in the TV set, yes! Then found as I was fumbling my way back into the recliner, the extension cable plug had fallen apart. Then proceeded to sit down on the flaming headphones, breaking them!

There are times, too many times; when the point in bothering becomes questionable.

GMX06a WD 150.0.0 02 From approximately midnight, I had Thought Storms aplenty. Broken by a precious few nod-offs, they were only a few minutes long, the instant I jumped awake, it was as if I had been searching in my slumber, for worries, concerns, and fears, building them up for when I woke, and the soul-destroying Brain-Storming recommenced!

04:30hrs: I woke for the umpteenth time, and all signs of mental aggravation had gone. I was no longer bedevilled! Not knowing why this suddenly occurred was a mystery, but of no interest to me, I was just so pleased that they had. In fact, it put little life into me as I cheered-up.

Getting out of the second-hand, £300, c1968, not-working-broken-down, most cringeworthily sickening beige-coloured, rickety recliner, has not been done with such ease for many a month. I should have known better than to let myself get carried away! Good fortune, for me, is transmundane.

WDP 03eWD 150.0.0 02 WD 150.0.0 a02 As I gained some semi-balance and was reaching for the four-pronged walking stick, and Dizzy Dennis had a go at me. (He’s not attacked me so ferociously for a while, but he made up for it this time!) I floundered and fortuitously fell back in the chair, via hitting my bum and piles on the way down against the arm. By ‘ecky-thump, I felt that! It took me a few minutes to gather myself, get over the shock, and then I tried (successfully) again to get up on my plates (feet).

Off to the kitchen, a little slower than usual, cause I didn’t trust Dizzy Dennis an iota. He’s a most cunning ailment. He’s on a par with Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters as top-dogs in the catching me out at the most optimum, dangerous timing, to cause me the greatest bother! The Swine!

I got the updating finished for the Sunday post and sent off. Nicodemus was particularly kind to me this morning. Then got the link Emailed. On to TFZer Facebooking, I always enjoy that. Spent an hour or three on it. Next, on the WordPress Reader section. Some great reads and photographs on there!

1Mon02I had a quick check on the latest sad news from the virus.

The landline burst into sound and flashed. I thought it might be the Phlebotomy Nurse calling to say she would be in tomorrow and give me the time scale. It was Sister Jane calling, bless her.

During the socially-distanced chinwag, she told me to write clearly. I mentioned the problems that are stopping me doing so. She suggested I have plenty of time on my hands, and I should learn shorthand. Hehe!

She and Pete are waiting for their free food parcel to arrive. Jane is very disappointed with the last one. They gave her amongst the many freebies, instant coffee, they use filter coffee, mentioning with a smiling voice; ‘Of course, you don’t get a free parcel do you’ (Muffled laugh, suspiciously heard!).

She mentioned that she had been doing some cleaning. Pointing out she realises I don’t, and I should get more exercise done. After the conversation, I felt about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Hahaha!

The doorbell chimed, and I found a pot of butter on the carpet outside. Obviously the work of Angel Jenny again. Bless her cotton socks!

Some tip-tapping noises were keeping me company from somewhere, as I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea, and then made a start on this blog.

Within a few hours, I’d got as far as here, and the need for CorelDraw graphicalisationing grew more urgent, as I realised I was out of page-top, Thoughts and Day graphics all together! So, with the tap-tapping now accompanied by some clump-banging, I visited CorelDraw ad started what turned out be a marathon session. But only managed two of the six graphics I needed to do. Humph!

I went to make a brew of Glengettie and pictured a man and his dog.

1Mon05b

1Mon06bThe intercom rang forth, it was the Iceland delivery. It’ll or nothing innit? Haha!

I put a can of plonk in the hallway for the driver. He was very chuffed! Which pleased me, too.

I made a start on the problematic, complicated and time-consuming task of getting the stuff in the cupboards fridge and freezer.

The doorbells chimed out again. I was a little miffed at being disturbed in the middle of mess sorting out the groceries; but thought it might be the other pair of trousers they have not delivered yet, so my spirits raised just a tad.

It was Josie returning the tray and things from the nosh. She said she enjoyed it and was, at last, isolating herself. Both made me feel good for her.

Back in the kitchen, and crammed the stuff, after reorganising the things a little. Plenty of nosh in now. Bleach might be a problem, but not yet, I’ve now got a bottle and a half left, so things are not anywhere near desperate.

I got the oven warming up. Then pondered on what to have for the nosh, my choices were multitudinous. Hahaha!

I thought I’d have some of the oddly called ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’ from Iceland, chips. This will mean more room in the freezer. Some cooked meat of some sort; or sausages will make a little room in the fridge for me.

It really is jam-packed in there now.

I nipped to have a wash, nothing serious, like an ablutions session, mind.

WDP 11mL1Mon05aWD 150.0.0 a02 Crumps and botherations! I knocked the clock off of the toilet top, and guess where it fell?

I assume you’ve guessed right. Straight down into the water in the water in the WC. Grrr! So very-most annoying!

I got the chips in the oven and sorted out the nosh ingredients available to use. Then I made a start on one of the most flavourful noshes of the year so far! Inspired, I was. Mind you, I kept changing my mind of what meat to have, ending up with one of the turkey sausages.

A wholemeal cob, a bottle of spring water, a terribly crumbly tasteless apple (One bite was enough to convince me to bin it!), and a Skinny Bar nougat (Tasty) were the extras.

The main plateful was the best bit. ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’ I seasoned with black pepper and vinegar, the Netherlands-grown Piccalo tomatoes were fantastic considering how out of season they were, sea-salted. I used some of the frozen petit pois for the first time and added some demerara sugar. I was not too impressed with the peas, but everything else on the plate went down fine and flavoursome. A rating of 9.26/10!

I was so impressed with my effort, I took shots of it from different angles on the tray. Did you notice the last picture had something added for an extra treat? Hahaha!

1Mon10

I ate it all up (Well, not the crap apple) masticating so slowly and savouring it. Apart from the fruit being thrown away, I ate and enjoyed the lot. It was about the time I made a decent meal!

1Mon06CInto the kitchen to do the washing up. I spotted two youths on the bottom field, a skateboarder and a cyclist, so my hackles-lifted. I’m not sure if they were rolling spliffs, cigarettes, or taking crack, but I took this decentish shot of them. When I viewed it on the camera, I realised the Saccades Sandra as playing and jumping about my focussing, shame! I used this shot as a background and made a Thoughts graphic in the morning.

I was determined to get some sleep tonight. (Huh!)

WDP3eLWD 150.0.0 02 Took the medications, and as I got settled into the £300, second-hand recliner, I soon realised I needed to use my hands to feel my way safely into the seat. (Luckily, Nicodemus’s Neortramsmitters’, and Shaking Shaun didn’t visit me st the time) Saccades Sandra was bad tonight, and I could not use the ploy of watching TV to help me get to sleep. Getting the focus right, too bothersome and headache encouraging. Then Toothache Tim kicked off. This was not going to be a peaceful night, methought. Sadly, I was right! I eventually got myself into a semi-comfortable position. Pulled the woolly hat over my eyes, and prayed that the Thought-Storms would not start.

WDP 2019B01AWD 150.0.0 02 The landline phone rang and flashed. I fumbled to get my spec’s on and get to the phone in time. It was my new Phlebotomy nurse. She will be calling in the morning between 0800hrs and 12:00hrs, to take the Warfarin Blood for testing. I thanked her, and returned to the chair, noticing that Saccades had eased off, and I could focus easier again. Which was good!

For some unknown, but pleasant reason, the Thought-Storms did not arrive. Which, on the face of it, was magnificently encouraging thing.

WDP 02lbWD 150.0.0 02 But the IBON (Inchcocks-Bundle-of-Nerves), anxiety and agitation attacks started the moment I got back down in the recliner! I really cannot recall how many times I struggled up, to go and check on something, taps (faucets) lights, oven, wet room sink, etc. over the next few hours. By the time I dropped of, the physical efforts and mental fatigue helped me nod-off.

At least I got a few hours in. Hey-Ho!

GM BrownLWD 50.0.0 03:50hrs: Woke for the third time, this one involved bubbling, rumbling and grumbling from the innards, which forced me to do what I had been resisting for a while getting up! But I knew the Throne session was likely to be another painful and challenging affair – Gawd blimey was I right!

Got a bit of a wobble on en route to the Porcelain Throne, but nothing overly worrying. A marathon (Ten minutes) slow hurtful grind, to complete the evacuation was as bad as one ever has been. Bloody too, but at least not messy. The wee-weeing was but a trickle. Little Inchies fungal lesion was stinging, but not bleeding. I was baffled by the difficulty I’d had passing. When I left the wet room, it was with a different-styled, more full gate and limp. Hehe!

To the kitchen and made up a cup of Macrodol and sipped it down, leaving a sachet of the, biologically inert, non-absorbable osmotic laxative on the counter, to remind me to take another later. Took the normal medication, and made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea, which I took with me to the computer, made a start on the template creating on WordPress and CorelDraw, and let the tea go cold. I carried on with creating today’s and the Monday template, the7Sun01n went to get another brew.

I had another go at getting an Iceland order in. But failure again, no slots available. Ah, well, Nemo Mortalium Omnis Horis Sapit!

Got on with updating the Saturday blog. A long job, compliments of nerve ens of Nicodemus.

I went to make another brew, and it became pellucid, well not clearly, but possibly that I needed another visit to the ~Porcelain Throne… I thought at the time, with the extra churning and bubbling from the innards that were kicking-off.

WD 50.0.0 But, I was bamboozled and fooled again. After much waiting and a complete crossword finished, I assumed things were not going to move. So, I had a wash and to the kitchen to make the brew and of Glengettie. And had another mug of Macrogol. I’ll have to be wary; in case things do start to flow suddenly! But my confidence is low, as is my blood level with all the flipping bleeding!

Finished the blog. Started this one.

Henceforth, I got blank-spells that kept coming an going. Doing the updating in the morning, I found scribbled notes I’d made, so details might be sketchy, and some happenings I can recall with clarity? Poor old sausage!

7Sun02No dogs and walkers out.

CorelDrawing.

Ablutions: painful, dropsies galore.

Legs misshaped and almost orange coloured?

7Sun03Josie’s nosh made and delivered. A patched-up meal, kippers cause I’m out of the smoked haddock, A tipple. Josie looking well today.

Jenny bleach. Forgot bleach on the Iceland order, they only sell the one type at the moment, expensive Domestos, but I added one to the order. I thought I’d call Jenny to see if there was any item that she needed adding. But a message came up telling me I had so many minutes to complete the change to the order, so I chickened out and completed added the bleach sharpishly.

Black bags made and sorted (eight) and to the waste chute,

The bleach that Jenny got for me was perfect, Sainsbury’s own label lemon-scented. I have been using two a week. Thanks, Jenny ♥. But not Iceland.

Got the pots washed and started to make my nosh. Took some photos.

7Sun03

I seemed to be coming out of a dream. According to my notes on the pad, when I found the pots had all been cleaned and stuff was taken out ready to do my meal: “Felt not ill, blanks, bleeding, leave out lesion”? Hehe!

7Sun03aWhile sorting the cooking, I spotted some dogs taking their owners for a walk, below in the bottom field, and took a snap of them. I clearly recall the little black poodle, I think it was, was hyperactive, and the bigger dog, the poor mite, had Arthritis and needed a little prompting from its loving owner.

7Sun04aHad to nip for a Throne visit, but again, it turned out a false alarm.

But, there was bubbling and brewing going on in the innards!

Washed, back to the kitchen, the sky had changed, bootiful!

7Sun04bA canned mixed grill, extra hickory and gravy and black beans added, along with two of the Icelands tasty beef burgers. The bread was a tad dry around the edges, but still.

The burgers were fine, but I got the seasoning wrong. Taste Rating: 6.5/10

Did the washing up again, got head down.

TV on, but blissfully, I fell asleep pretty soon. And it was grand.

7Sun04cWD 50.0.0 A couple of hours later, I woke with a start, most likely from the headphones I’d left on when some music came on the TV. Which was really lucky! The intercom was chiming away. Fumbled out and to the machine, it was the Morrison order I’m made seven weeks ago and thought would be cancelled!

Pressed the man in, and got some trews on, by which time he was at the door. He left the bags in the hall, said something I didn’t catch, and off he trotted.

I got the bags into the kitchen. What a great surprise.

Shame I’d just made an order in with Iceland for tomorrow, now I’m really going to struggle to make room in the fridge and freezer! Oh, dearie me!

1Mon04A few unavailables, and substitutions, as was to be expected. Shame I ordered the mil from Iceland now, they had substituted a 1-litre with 2-litre whole milk. The only thing that I was bothered about was having no Lemon Meringue mousse, I’m getting withdrawal symptoms. Hehe!

I struggled to keep concentration as I faffed about making room in the refrigerator and freezer for the food.

I’m afraid the two hours kip I enjoyed, was to be all of the sleep for the night. I did have a few nod-offs, but each lasted only a few minutes, I’d wake, and the Thought Storms would howl away at me.

Humph!

000 April 18

GM0056Sat0403:15hrs: I woke up, with the theme tune, “Life, is the name of the game, and I wanna play the game with you” ringing in my head? It took me a while to recall where the tune was from.

It was the introduction to Bruce Forsyth’s Generation Game. What brought this to mind, I don’t know. But I do remember watching it all those years ago and being amazed at how much work Bruce put into it to make it work. My favourite Game Show of them all on TV.

On the radio, it was Just a Minute, with host Nicholas Parsons, Clement Freud, Kenneth Williams, Derek Nimmo, and Peter Jones, they were my preferred panellists. Two shows I hated to miss, and the reason for my buying my first tape recorder and DVD. Ah, they were the days!

I seem to remember getting home and putting the motorbike away in a rush, to get in and my new colour TV (Wigfalls 3/6d [17½p] a week rental) on to watch it. Happy Days! The Larry Grayson and Jim Davidson efforts at hosting the later shows, were as expected, abysmal. I just thought I’d mention it, like.

As I lay there, hearkening back to my more confident, happy and in good health days, the stomach-churning burst into life. Thus the one thing that mattered (I thought at the time), was to escape the £300, second-hand, none-working, c1968, rickety recliner, catch my balance and stick, to get to the wet room lickety-split! Which, I surprised myself in doing quickly and accident-free, Slight swagger mode adopted (Temporarily).

WDP Dec 26bWD 0.95.0 I shall not go into too much detail of the terrible, trying, tantamount to agony-ridden evacuation.  But Constipation Conrad had the upper-hand in the battle. I was on the Throne for about 20-minutes. The crossword book as tackled. Blood flowed. And all with the one line of the ‘the Generation Game’ milling about in my head. Hehe!

WD 0.95.0 Then, as I made my way to the kitchen, Toothache Terence kicked off. Soon to be joined by Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun. And extra Cocodamol was taken with the Codeine and other medications. For about five minutes, the mind-haze and memory loss had me worried. I was so close to pressing the alarm wristlet, thinking what can tell them, how do I explain what I’m going through without sounding potty? I was so pleased when things seemed suddenly to go back to my usual, merely semi-confused state. Yet, puzzled to how quickly and abruptly, things changed again.

WD 0.95.0 Of course, this triggered the fretting all over again, it always does when I have a memory blank, even a short couple of minutes one like this; I just had to check things, taps, lights, stove, door. When I got to the hallway, I found two letters on the floor.

6Sat07

One double-sided A4 from Citycare. I p[ointed out their plans an dedication to making sure we are all safe and instructed us what to do if we have any of the symptoms of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We have to call 0300 131 0300 – Option 1, then Option 5, between 0830am to 1700hrs pm, Monday to Friday. Being as it is Saturday morning now, I hope I do not get any symptoms for two days.

WD 0.95.0 They also kindly gave us a 107 digit email address to use. That’s a guess at the number, cause Saccades-Sandra is playing up and I can’t focus properly to read it. Luckily, Saccades and other ailments I have are not sufficient to get me a weekly food parcel. So, I shall be of no bother to them. And am so glad that Nottinghamshire County Council, have supplied Sister Jane and hubby Pete with a delivered box of food weekly. Jane told me this while she was out shopping for eggs, bacon and some wine. They didn’t take the car or electric bike with them, that remained in the new garage at the mansion on the tree-lined avenue, with the eleven CCTV cameras, burglar alarms, pressure alarm pads and wine cellar. But, I’m contented in my three-roomed flat and being isolated and unable to get food.

Shame I don’t qualify for a weekly food parcel, but there you are. I’ll just stay here, with Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters dying and Peripheral Neuropathy making me have accidents and dropping things, scolding myself etc., Mechanical Aorta valve replacement, Hernia Harold, Burgabasia-Bernie, Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, Stuttering Stephany, Anne Gyna, Rheumatoid Arthur Itis, Little Inchies Fungal Lesion bleeding away accompanied my Haemarrahoid Harold, Fluid Retention Robert, Furesomide induced wee-wees, Craig Cramps, Dizzy Dennis, Back-Pain-Brenda, falling over when I get an involuntary Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance from Neuropathic Nigel’s right leg, Conrad Constipation, Reflux Valve Roger sticking, Prediabetes Petunia demands, injecting Enoxaparin in my tummy,  battling and getting injured by the Sock-glide, coping with the memory blanks, and picking at the bloodied scars from Clopidogrel Clive’s growths on my legs.

As I said, at least I don’t qualify for a food parcel, like others who have cars, wealth, health and the nerve to accept their food parcels. At least I have Jenny ♥ keeping her eye on me, and others, and a caretaker who brought me a bottle of bleach when he heard I couldn’t get enough.6Sat02

But, it doesn’t bother me at all! Tsk! Hehehe!

WD 0.95.0 I made a start on checking Emails and went to check up on the latest Coronavirus statistic.

Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failed at just the wrong, the most inopportune time!

The right hand did one of its as yet rare, shooting off in varying directions, just as I was typing. The bout merely lasted a few seconds.

But it was long enough for me to get this these two windows to appear on the computer screen!

I don’t know what the fingers or hand hit to get these up, but it frit me I can tell yers!

Being a computer workings idiot is not easy. Becoming one was!

I thought I’d buggered it up now! Understanding things, working out what it was on the screen was beyond me.

Fear of losing the computer and depression took over the mind for a minute or two.

I closed the windows and sighed muchly with relief when things 6Sat03seemed to be working okay.

Maybe, if things ever get back to normal, I might be able to find a college or something that runs courses on understanding the workings of a computer. What am I thinking? with my memory? And the courses will be night ones! And Nicodemus’s nerve-ends are dying anyway, so are not going to get any better, only worse, which means I’ll have to eventually give up computing all together, that hurts!

I continued to search for the virus figures. I don’t think they are anything to get too hopeful about yet.

I went to make a mug of Glengettie and came out of the doldrums a little. Especially as I made the brew, without any spills, shakes or nerve-end interference. That was a nice change.

WDPh 01WD 0.95.0A Then, carrying the tea into the junk room, I dropped the mug! I was so low in spirits, it didn’t seem to bother me much. I just cleaned up the mess, thinking how lucky I was in not breaking the cup.

I was determined to pull myself from the darkness.

The cold sunshine went in, and a tiny few spots of a shower fell. It lasted only for a minute or so. I carefully made another brew, Thompsons Punjana this time. Then took a couple of pictures of Chestnut Walk. There was still an earthy petrichor smell already, which was lovely.

6Sat11

A couple of free parking spaces, and no illegal parking at this end of the walk, ah, Saturday innit! Oh, I just noticed there was a bit of naughty parking on the double yellow lines. I think they have wisely decided to ignore this activity, with us having so few spaces available.

At long last, I got the updating started for the Friday blog. Soon got it finished, thanks to Nicodemus being kind, and despite Shaking Shaun doing his best to knobble my typing. Haha!

The rear-end wind continues to plump and plop, but not foul-smelling. Ah, I must take a mug of Macrogol first. If Colin Cramps lets me, he’s having another bash at the poor old fingers now. Dangwangles!

6Sat12WD 0.95.0 Checked the comments. Then some bits on Pinterest. Next, the WordPress Reader. Then onto TFZer Facebooking. Then I tried to get an Iceland order in, but no luck, slots unavailable. Even if they were, I can still only be allowed one bottle of bleach. Nowhere near enough for a week for me. Thankfully, Robert, our caretaker brought me a bottle that’s getting me through for a few days.

6Sat13Much CorelDrawing, making graphics for the blog tomorrow.

Mental fatigue made me leave the CorelDrawing.

I got the handwashing sorts out. Dressing gown, jammie bottoms and socks. All done, wrung and hung. I put the gown to hang in the wet room.

Got the ablutions done. No sock-glide confrontation, I left the bamboo socks off. The dropsies were a little higher than of late, that would be due to Nicodemus’s nerve-ends not sending any contact messages to the brain. At times this can get confusing and so frustrating. Especially when folks say, ‘Just be careful!’ Looking 6Sat19at me as if I’m an idiot.

Which is true! Haha! Because the neurotransmitters fail to tell the brain, as they come on and off-line variably and at their will.

WD 0.95.0A The shaving produced a few tiny nicks, nowt serious. Little Inchies lesion had bled only a few spits, again, no hassle; even the applying of the Cortiscord cream was not too painful. Which was a nice change for me!

6Sat18I got the nosh sorted out. Chicken breast, and tried the weirdly named Iceland fries, branded as ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’. They were okay. The chicken breasts were a bit rubbery. Some seaweed crispies and an apple on the side on another plate. Two mini-Vienesse lemon cakes. No, that’s what they are called. I went to look at the part empty box. Lemon Whirls. A can of the delightfully tangy Clementine drink, too.

Ate it all, and I’d had my fill. Oh, the apple was awful, soft, dry! Never mind. A Flavour Score of 6/10.

I went to do the washing up and espied some dogs taking their owners for a walk in the bottom field.

6Sat17

I wish I could have a cat here in the flat, but I can understand the impracticality of it fully. I can take tumbles easily enough now, with the dizzies and neuropathic dancing legs, Arthur Itis… and a multitude of others with a ‘Let’s-Have-Inchcock-all-over-fancying’ nature. Imagine me having a pet to fall over as well! Hehehe! But it’s still sad making.

I got down in the Zyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward, and pilfering my money, recliner.

I watched a film all the way to the end; but with perhaps about fifteen few-minute nod-offs in between. Waste of time, I couldn’t follow the plot.

I lay afterwards, trying to ignore the rampant Thought-Storms, mostly of guilt, self-hatred, and isolation problems.

I must have nodded off eventually, cause I woke up in the morning! Hangalisationing Horror-time!
