Inchie: Sat 16th Sept 2023 Took Another Tumble

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
While Carer Chris was getting Inchy back up on his feet, he said, “I’m going to do another rhyme about life!” And he did, as you can see. When the morning Carer arrived, there he was at his computer working on the aforementioned ode. When the next Carer called hours later… there he was, still on his computer, working on the aforementioned ode. It’s not as if it is any good, but he continues to dish out this rubbish. Which possibly proves the validity of what the old man wrote?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Not as good as last week. But I’m still here despite the new ailments found lurking within… and around. Hehehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Easy-Peasy, pudding & pie! No idea what that means?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Another day of disasters. Well, maybe not disasters, but calamities, maybe. It all started so well, as well. I was feeling well… to start with.  Then the cock-ups started!
I’ll just mention two of them in this intro. Cause they cost me so much time, it’s now gone 20:00hrs, and I’ve just started this blog. Plans went askew, as they usually do! No, I’ve changed my mind; I’ll reveal what I remember of it, more or less how and when they happened in this amazingly popular blog, so as not to keep my mass of followers on tenter-hooks. It’s not fair to either of them. It’ll be a little sparse… that’s another thing, poor on and off all day. I’ll make a start; the Carer is due soon…

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Up and at them this morning. (I hasten to add, this morning, well moment, only!)  I dislodged the nocturnal pouch from the day bag. When getting up, the balance was a bit dodgy, and I ended up plopping back down into the £300, second-hand bought, c1968, nauseously beige-coloured, not-working, rusty, rickety, crumb-holder of a tatty recliner. A bloody experience. Poor blood flowed out, and as I got up again to do the balance exercises before trying to walk, I on the Ottoman. I’m not sure which hurt me more. Hehe!
Off I poddled, very carefully to the wet room to Germoloid and wash my end. Picked up , & off to the wetroom. After washing and medicating Harolds’ wounds, putting olive oil in the ears, and then I sprayed some Brut over myself, I got the fresh dressing gown on.
You wouldn’t believe how painfully I accidentally shoulder-charged the door frame when leaving. Naturally, this started both , joined in then. I was a bit of a confused wreck for a few minutes! Nothing new there, mind you.
After a sit-down, drink of spring water, and a couple of the delectable Le Petit Beurre biscuits, I decided I must get on with things, and not feel sorry for myself. (As if!)
I found this photo on the right when I got onto the computer.
Must have been yesterday when I took this one, unknowingly. Then realised I’d not done the waste bags and safety checks. So, I did.
Made up[ the bag from three bins and put them near the door.
Then to the kitchen and took a picture through the window, hence the flash reflection. You can tell I’m a professional photographer, can’t you? Hehehe!

Checked in the kitchen, taps were okay, the oven was not left on and the fridge & freezer doors were shut–too.

Back on the computer. Sorted the photos from the SD card for yesterday’s blog updating, and was doing a reasonable job of it, if you don’t mind me saying so.
Then, an interruption for the use of the .

Another half-hour was lost! The mess, and I had to change into new Protection Pants due to my not being quick enough to get there to avoid a little seepage!
So more cost with having to re-Germoloid and Germolene my more delicate parts again. I was slowly sinking into a depression. But forced myself out of it, and into the kitchen with the aim of making a brew of tea.
But arrived. Got the eye drops done, and we had a little natter while she issued the medications for me.
I took her blood pressure. She’s one of the best BPs I’ve ever seen.
Hello, back to the .
What a mess again!
However, I did get there in time – only just, fair enough. But I was pretty pleased with my dexterity in getting there…
Not so with my dropping the toilet roll onto the WC; I’m getting wee’d off with doing this so often lately. The blame is on my , and after reading about the symptoms yesterday on the web, .
I’m losing my grip or hold on things so much more often this week. The right hand and fingers are getting stiffer and even less sensitive to touch. The digits often freeze on me. That’s how I dropped the mug of tea a week ago. Which managed to avoid the whole of the kitchen floor as it landed directly on my poor little .

I then got carried away when spending three hours, just doing today’s Ode! Even worse, I got involved in researching suitable words for other rhymes. Again, it’s messing about with my brain. I’m certain she’s getting more masterful at it.
Carer Joanne arrived, and we had a little chinwag. mutual moans and laughs. At last, I remembered to pay her for the eye pads she’d fetched me last week to use for the .
Bless her cotton socks.

I had this inane idea, of picturing the pot and me attempting to release the contents of the day pouch, which actually came out a bit decent, I thought. (Right)
However…
And what a one…
My right hand fingers froze as I was about to close the release valve. The pee shot all over my legs, feet and the carpet, not to mention the 1966 second-hand Hopewell’s G-Plan cabinet!
I faffed about trying to spray the disinfectant on the paper towels and tread them down, then remove them to the bin, and repeated the process. The third time, the towels were breaking up, and I could not use the picker-upperer this time.
So I got more fresh towels and.. wait for it… Bent down to gather the residue in them.
Of course, I should have known better. The Fall Team Lady, Sarah, told me not to bend down from now on. But when I keep constantly dropping and knocking stuff over, I don’t really have a choice? The urine must be cleaned up and the smell obliterated… But I’m sorry, I tried it now…
As I leant down with the fresh towelling, a visit from had me toppling forward, hitting my face on the cabinet and scraping against it on my way down slowly to the floor!
I’d a few little scratches on the chin; two teeth had been loosened, and were bleeding. was upset with me landing on her knee. This started of the bothersome , then joined in. Getting back up was its usual struggle. But at no time did I consider using the alarm wristlet.

The whole day crumbled after this one. Although, when arrived, he helped me… well, he cleaned it up all on his own for me. A nice lad.
He asked if I needed him to ring the ambulance or Doctor’s. I think the neuropathy shakes and shudders made me look worse than I felt. I was lucky for once, I think; at least the bag didn’t burst open on me and make things even worse. When taking the medications, the right-hand fingers played dead again. I all but dropped the bottle of soda I was drinking from to get the tablets down. I took his BP, and here are the recent results from the Carers tests. They are a healthy lot. Haha!

I shall now, at 00:20hrs, invest some time in getting something to eat, at last.

I hope to be back in the morning,
And doing a lot less moaning,
I hope not to be groaning,
Suppose I’ll be mentally fidgeting?
If I can make time, do some vacuuming?
The computer needs fragmenting,
My teeth and jaw are stinging…
My back is really aching,
I am unfortunately anticipating…
a struggle with the ablutioning,
Trotsky Terence, Porcelain Throning…
I hope Little Inchie stops bleeding.
And I’ll try to stop burping!

Inchy: Friday 8th Sept 2023 – With Moments of Mental Yobbery!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Easy-Peazy! Even I found it in about ten minutes! Hehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A had me over in the kitchen, and onto the floor, within about ten minutes of waking up.  But, he was assisted by giving way at the same time. Clouted my cheek on the corner of the counter on the way down with a sort of crunch-thud. Haha!
Minutes later, when I was shaving, made me turn to get , and I completely misjudged it. I spun around, giving the door frame a half-decent shoulder charge. I turned quickly when  I thought I may have left the tap (faucet) running, which did the trick. I must have splashed some of the soapy water on the floor, and soon found it! Luckily I fell against the shower chair, which saved me struggling to get back up again, at least. A good start!

The night pouch was even darker this morning, (which I don’t think is good for my chances of ever getting the bothersome and sometimes painful, always frustrating, and/or irritatingly, often needing to be emptied, which meant a trip to the wet room then kitchen to clean up) removed permanently.
Whipped back the balcony window curtain, using the long picker-upperer, To see the view of the morning mist, surrounding the flat’s complex.
I went onto the balcony, to try and take a photo of the front car park through the glass.
It didn’t come out well, as you can see from this fudgy picture that I took. Not so good?
I got some potatoes in the crockpot straight away. I did this because there’s always a chance that my ever-present, will allow me to forget later.
I spent some time sorting the waste bins out. Got them placed at the front door, so the Carer can see them and take them to the waste chute for me; bless them.

Onto the computer, I’m so far behind with the blogging, and I got settled to have a good bash and try to catch up. Hehehe! I should have known better, of course. A Porc failedDemand for the , so off to the wetroom, which produced no evacuations, just effort, pain and failure to perform. Haha! A little bleeding. So, I cleaned up and shaved, applied
Germoloid ointment. Which was a blessed relief! Shaved & washed. The Carer arrived. Medications & eye drops issued. I took my and his BP. Benjamin’s was great! Mine was not so good. As was expected.
I did Carer Chris’s later on.
Here are the written figures before they went onto the NHS sight for analysis. One came out as Normal, the other as Ideal. Two Fit Carers I have!

The shortage of Olive Oil for my ears was wrangling at me, still. So I had another search for medical olive oil and found that Ocado, do some.
So, made an order for groceries to be delivered on Monday, hoping the Ocado have some in stock to send.

I spent hours and hours catching up on blogging and artwork on CorelDraw for future blogs. Despite this, I am still far behind schedule.

Suddenly the last Carer call was done, and I hadn’t used the , Nor had I had anything to eat… no, that’s a fib. I’ve had a banana and several of the gorgeous Le Petit Beurre biscuits. Irresistible, in fact, I’m sorry I found them now. They should be banned! Haha!

A late meal was hastily prepared. The potatoes I’d put in the crock-pot, about 14 hours earlier, were drained and on the plate. I added the last of the just out-of-date smoked ham, after sniffing each piece. some were removed. The yellow & red tomatoes, these were four days out of date, but tasted lovely. Some bits of no-butter butter were placed on top of the potatoes. Some tangy sauce on the plate, to dip the bread with ham squashed in them… nice! The tasteless Asda raspberry ready-made jelly was well-edible to me.
Then… as I was picking up the tray of fodder… again, I got a hit. And the plate and food had to be scraped up from the tray and floor! I was in semi-agony by the time I cleaned things up and dolloped the once attractive-looking food back on the plate. But I ate it all, well, not the bits with dust from the floor on them.
Flavour Rating: 4.8/10!

Then, I got weariness and tiredness come very late for me. Got the pots washed, and I honestly almost fell asleep at the sink doing them! Flavour Rating: 8.8/10!

As I was checking that the taps (faucets), and hobs were not left on, and made my way out of the door, I remembered I’d not checked the fridge and freezer doors. Went back to do so.
They were okay, and the view outside I thought was amazing for the early hours of the day. Taking this photo of the houses, I noticed how surprisingly light the sky looked for this time of day?

I almost dropped into the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, in search of .
But with almost immediate effect, began his tirade of fear, guilt and shame-producing verbals.

The Git!
.
Ah, well…

Today, I almost relaxed; It went less rancorously!
I still hate HMG for living costs & acting recessionary…
It’s down to them, and the power of the Oligarchy!
Thought Storms were there,
But somehow, I coped uncaringly…
Not that the day went happily or cheerfully…

, was a bully,
Concentrationless, confusionableness; barmy!

There was sparse logic or congruency!
Decisions, and actions, were taken bathetically,
Indeed, the whole day went chimerically,
Hence I wrote this piece of cacography!
The day was full of anfractuosity…
I didn’t get much worthwhile done, you see…
Spent most of the time self-admonishingly!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Mmm… a little dark this morning?

Sorted the waste bins into one bag, and put it near the door.

Looking good?

Mist clearing sooner today.

Made a brew of Glengettie, and dunked a few (3) of my newly discovered favourites biscuits. Tasted buttery, with an iota of salt taste. No bother to the bad teeth!

Aha, at last, some relief from pain, from !

Worked conscientiously on getting the Wednesday blog done.
But with so many interruptions, and me forgetting I’d not done it, it was well late by the time it was posted.

A couple of snaps were taken.
Both through the glass in the balcony.
The top one didn’t come out well. Tsk!
The bottom field shot was an improvement.

Started cooking the meat for the stewpot.

Potatoes in the slow cooker.

Then did a search of the web, to see where I may be able to get some of the Samaritan Olive Oil, for the ears. I’ve only got a day or two worth left to use. Spent yonks on searching and failing. The only one available was from Amazon, and I’ve finished with them, because their last three deliveries were left by the driver down in the main lobby, and I didn’t even know they’d been delivered! Other stuff left as well. I’m not up to going all that way down repeatedly in hopes that they will be there. I used to check on the internet tracker, but of course, often this was not possible; Due to failing… I found one other company that delivered it. Made an account with them (that took me an hour). Filled in the contact details, and as I was about to put the bank details in, I saw an icon: ‘Click here to ensure we can deliver to your area’; so I did – and they couldn’t. Shit!
What a waste of time! I’ll ask if any carer is on Amazon and I can pay then and ask if they can order some for me. I’ve asked Chris, Benjamin and Marie for now, but all a no-go. Someone must be on Amazon who can help me? Never mind, I’ll investigate if I can use cooking olive oil on the web tomorrow. I can search the supermarkets for olive oil sprays as well.

More searching on the web, and I spotted that Morrisons claim to sell it. This brought forth great joy, and I got on their site to order some Samaritan Olive Oil. I nearly broke into a smile!
My favourites came up, and knowing that a minimum order of £40 was needed, I ordered other stuff to make the required total.
When I put in ‘Samaritan Olive Oil’ it indicated that this is not recognised or in stock! Another hour-plus lost without any luck!
Made worse by… you can probably guess what’s coming…
Yet still, it didn’t get to me like it usually would have? Worrying this is. Also, I had a few visits from , and the days mock, unexplainable accepting of things, no came to an end.
I poddled to the wet room to have a shave and en route, had an ; it didn’t have me over but caused my right shoulder to wallop into the door frame. And all was forgotten about the minutes-earlier farces, and all felt, was how lucky I was not to have gone down on the floor! Even when burst into life! I’d drifted back into my earlier mode of ‘Hey Hoeidness!’ Of course, how long this will last, depends on the aggressiveness of my ailments, getting the flu jab done, and finding a way to get some ‘Samaritan Olive Oil’ for the ears. Also, depending on the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, grotesque succubae, Whoopsiedangleplops, ailments, extraterrestrials, ectoplasm, spirits, accifauxpas, rent increases, food price hikes, and the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited, currently contented but pointless, insaneness of mind?

The evening looked very nice.

Good heavens. look at the time!

Oh, the food! Crikey I’ve left it on the hob cooking!
Turned off the computer, not even having made a start on this template yet… All save! Phew!
By gum that was nice!
Flavour-Rating: 902/10.
Worth all the time and effort to make, for once!.
As I started to eat it, the Carer Arrived!

Finished the nosh and went to clean the pots & dishes.
Beautiful night sky again!
Straight ahead from the kitchen window…
Then to the left a bit…
Does anyone remember the ‘Golden Shot’ quiz on the telly?
Bob Monkhouse compared it…
Left a bit… Up a bit… A smidge right… Shoot!
A great show, I thought. Produced by ATV for ITV between 1 July 1967 and 13 April 1975, based on the German TV show Der Goldene Schuß. The hostesses distracted from the games sometimes, but… Hehehe!

TTFNski, Each!

INCHY: Sunday 20th August 2023 – Worried, frustrated and took a tumble.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Woke up worried about the situation with the mystery of whether or not the cushion, bed, or both are arriving on Monday. Always on a damned Friday, I get confusing unclear communications from someone late on Fridays. No Meridian management to ring for advice; no Wardens at the weekends.
This means I can only advise them when the delivery is due! It makes it look like I’ve not told people in time, but what else can I do to get help moving the debris in the room to make what for the bed to go in? If it’s coming, it’s unclear what is arriving on the mobile phone text message left for me. It could be catheter bags, the bed, the cushion, or any permutation of?
So frustrated!
The Spain v England Football Final didn’t help my sanity! In the first half, when Spain got the only goal, they played better than England, who made midfield errors that led to the Spanish goal.
In the second half, the Ispancha back-handed feminine referee made damned sure that England lost the final, not that England needed her help. Losing the ball, bad passing, and lack of movement was not a good display. Spain could have won without the referee letting them dive to the floor if they looked like they would be tackled, commit foul after foul, etc. But they did deserve to win without a crooked referee in charge of the game. Fair enough! England used up all their good luck in beating Nigeria and Australia.
I keep worrying about how it will go tomorrow. Bet I get it in the neck and take the blame. I’ll have to try and move some stuff myself now the match is over.

12:00hrs: I’ll be back later to update this blog if I get time.
15:20hrs: I’m back. Bruised and bleeding as it happens. Thanks to as I was stretching to get a box of whatnots! I took a tumble, hitting the handle of the four-wheel walker trolley on my way down, and I stubbed my toe. . Right on the wrong digit…  Don’t think I swore or felt sorry for myself, but I had to abandon the tidying-up job. I casually wiped the blood away (not worth mentioning, but it might make me sound braver than I really am, Hehehe!) and Germoloiding the minuscule bruise. I’ll take a photo of it later to prove just how innocuous it was if it can be seen. Har-Har!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

05:30hrs: I woke and rose from the depths of the £300, second-hand, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working recliner. In a state of some agitation over the short notice of the bed arriving and no one to ask about it, it was late Friday night, and no one in charge was here at the weekend. I determined I’d have a go at getting the room cleared on my own; I’ll see how I go with it.
Other matter filtered through making it into the brain. Like the final of the world cup for the ladies. EQ warned me not to expect a victory for England. I didn’t, and they didn’t win. Sister Jane phoned me at half-time; we were both doubtful of their gaining a victory. SADLY!

There was not much in the night pouch as I went to take it off the
A sudden gush and it looked fuller?
It looked like a good 3 rating. However, during the day, Carer Rhamat classed the second check as a ‘6’ on the card! On her 12:00 call. It was a ‘two’. I’ve just done another review, with the cards, and it’s a ‘three’?

The day is breaking through the balcony doors.

Kitchen sorted.
Ablutions and Porcelain Throne.
Urge! Haha!

Blepharitis Eye Gel and Spray were used.
I’m getting used to these reading glasses now!

First mugs of tea. Sainsbury’s Extra-String Brown Label

Started updating the photographs.
I got a message from Norton re-drivers that all need updating (18). So bought the package and waited while it updated. Got a text from the bank needing code to use.
Norton then needed my password. Then Norton said to restart the computer, telling me I can use my computer now.
Then, a bill receipt for £44 arrived that had gone through. However, another message came through from Norton; telling me that one of the drivers could not be updated.
Getting all confused now? So I clicked to update it… Another message: This cannot be updated at this time, but this will not affect anything or harm your computer. Then why make me buy the updater in the first place then?

Watched the Football match. Carer Rhamat, Sister Jane, who called at half-time, and me, all agreed things were looking bleak for the England team. I’d sooner not go into detail. Sob!

I decided to get as much done as possible in the spare bedroom, to make room in case the bed does arrive.
I spent a few hours grafting away, trying to clear the rubbish as I went. And there was a great deal to be bagged.
The first lot that Rhamat took for me.
Second dollop, Carer Benjamin, after the cleaning-up session ended so ignominiously. Why? I’ll tell yers…

Just as encouraged me to drop a box of cans & bottles I was struggling to move, an instant
erupted with a vengeance like never before!
Not a plain simple one, of course, Oh, No! Not me!
I was falling after knocking the leg on the four-wheeled walker, and , not just any toe, but the one that hurts without it getting bashed about, but the flipping! Then the trolley I’d grabbed hold of, brake gave way, and down onto my knees I went. That did not please either or , nor did the forehead that hit the corner of a box of bleach! I was a little dizzy by the time I’d got through on my hands and knees to the c1966, £300, second-hand charity shop bought in 2008, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, recliner.
That was enough for me. Not that it bothered me, of course.
Well, maybe a little. Somewhat… Aargh!
Got some cream Germoloid cream on the head scratch…
Then dolloped some Of the…
MedPhorpaingel on the knees and chin.
Hard graft!
Much mess still needs doing, though, in the room!

Carer Benjamin came for the evening call and saw the funny side of the bruised head. Hehehe!
I put the Blepha gel on the eyes, and
Sprayed on the water spray, while Benjamin was here.

Checked on the potatoes in the slow cooker.
Added some liquid smoke and.

Twinkly sun shot.

Then off to get the potatoes cut up and chop up some beetroot to add to the can of chunky veg soup. Fingers crossed.
We’ll see…
Not bad at all. Flavour-Rating 7.2/10

Got the washing up done and was in the process of trying to get a decent shot of the oddly-shaped moon, and Carer Benjamin arrived. He got the medicationings done and added the
to . I got my last health Check monitoring done and took Benjamin’s BP. It came out as “Ideal” at SYS 120 and DIA 66. Mine was slightly different at 148-59, “Hypertension High”. Fit lads, Benjamin and Christopher. Jealous? Me? Yes? Hehe!

Back to trying to get a shot of the high in the grey sky moon.
Made a mess of that!
Horizon shot.
Made an even bigger mess of this one trying to take the moon.
It’s the white bit bottom left. My camera skills are getting worse! Mind you, I was taking these and carrying the walking stick and catheter night bag at the same time  Best excuse I can think of, Hahaha!

I settled down in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner. Turned on the TV and swiftly drifted off into a deep, dream-filled sleep. Waking up in the same position five hours later, the TV still on, and… this is true, by the way… no crumbs found! I can’t recall anything about the dreaming; I just know I had them?

Keep Safe, & Have a Great Day!

Late getting off to sleep again, so I was late getting up. Just gone 06:00hrs. Took off the pouch, and made up the waste bags, Then I hobbled off to get the ablutions done – another struggle there, but I have had far worse ones. Two cuts shaving, only tiny ones; the after-shave stopped them from flowing blood easily enough.
Carer Chris arrived. We had a natter and laugh while he sorted the medications out: He’d brought the missing medication up, the Atorvastatin, they are half strength these ones, so I have to take two until the chemist can get some of the full-strength ones in stock again. The gentleman from the opticians called on the landline. He was at the flats. I told him to ring 72 on the panel, and I could admit him. He rings on the panel, but only for a few seconds, then stopped… The telephone rang again, I asked if he had got the right one of the three courts; he said yes. I went down painfully to the front door lobby in my dressing gown but saw no one. I returned to the flat in case he was up there… The landline rang again, and it transpired that he was at flat 12, not 72.
The landline rang again. He said he was outside the door… I hobbled down again, thinking he meant the lobby door, no one there, back up to the flat. He rang the bell and smiling told me of his visiting the wrong flat. A nice chap. Handed me the new varifocals, so now I have two pairs now.
Made a brew and got the computer on…
Carer Joanne arrived. I thanked her for fetching the spectacles for me yesterday; bless her. Told her of the cost of the Bleptha medications that I had to pay a fortune for, and she mentioned that her catheter bags, she had to pay for. Took her ages to get them back on the NHS
!
She said she would try getting some eye pads for me. I told her of the optician coming.
Then I went to clean up the wet room and found a can of lemon cleaner foam to use. It had a price tag on it… 49p. I think I must have bought it in 1980! Hope it doesn’t explode if I use it. Hehehe!
Then a couple of hours searching for the costs of Protection Pants from Asda then Morrisons. As the current stock is getting low now. I got myself confused about the prices and spent ages going back and forth from site to site. But I found some own-label that were cheaper than the others, not men’s, but suitable for both sexes. Morrisons had some of the vegetable risotto on sale, so they got the order. I’m hoping I got it right this time! No more double orders for Inchy!
He says with little confidence and a nervous twitch!

PHOTOGRAPHICALISATIONS

Excellent colour in the night pouch!

Waste Bags Gathered.

Taken during the ablutions.
The legs are so much better, visually!

Carer Chris this morning. Looking broody? Hehehe!

The age-old Bathroom Foam spray!

Puffer clouds getting thicker now.

The glasses from which the optician chose a frame that should be capable of new lens fitted. The gentleman also said he’d return this afternoon with the done glasses shortly.

Clouds getting thicker still.

A bit of a mini-mudslide, I don’t recall it raining?

Ah, thicker than ever now, but beautiful!

The optician man returned with the new varifocals. They were in a very frame that he had chosen earlier.
They may take me some getting used to. But that is not surprising after nearly three years since the last pair was issued. Naturally, with the Blepharitis in both eyes and the left eye due to being cataracted on the 31st of August, might not get done unless the infection has cleared up!

WORRIED
The text message I got Friday evening about something medical being delivered on Monday, has got me worried. The Social Service lady who called on me said she would see Meridian about me getting a hospital bed and also ordered a special cushion for the recliner, that avoids bedsores.
But the email gave me no time to contact Meridian to ask for help or find out what the plan was. Weekend arrangements yet again! So, come Monday, I’ll not know if the cushion or bed is arriving until they do, on Monday. Three days’ notice, proved to be one day’s notice; cause Meridian will not know about it until the day it arrives and will not have time to sort out any help with
moving the things around in the room to make space for the bed to go in. I’m gonna get the blame methinks for not informing them in time. But had no choice in the matter. Maybe they contacted them to let them know? But again, no management would be in the office at the weekends… I’m getting anxious now.

I made some baked potatoes for Nosh.
Well buttered with the tasty none-butter butter, and sea salt, with some mini-tomatoes, and a strawberry dessert.
Tasty, even with just spuds! Rating: 7.8/10.
