No night bags all week, so I have had to empty the day bag overnight a few times. Hey-Ho! Then off to the most popular room in the flat, the room. Another battle is to encourage the evacuation product to evacuate. Haha!

The carer arrived, got the medications sorted and had a little chinwag.
Then… back to typo the again.
on the way back to the , with still in command.

Got some Apache potatoes in the crock-pot after removing the growth shoots, of which there were dozens of.

AGAIN!
Getting fed up with this.
Surely thinks, being so solid as they are, you’d expect
the visits to be less often, not more?

Made a mug of Glengettie… and took these snaps below.

I enjoyed watching the man and his tail-wagging dog.

Got on the computer…
What was going right… well, nothing was real.
Memory blanks for words and happenings. Distractions via the agony of the  tube in poor little Inchies!!! I think this may be due tri the lack of night pouches. The nurse did say it was important to put the night bag on as it gives the day bag a chance to flow, getting rid of the infection as it did so. That makes seance to me, but no bags have arrived yet.  They certainly won’t arrive at the weekend, so the stinging pains look to be contended with a little longer. Then the pain from the evacuating product causes more bleeding from . Of course, agonising pains mean nothing to me whatsoever.

Back again to the Wet room.

Fancy that one of the Enoxaparin needles was bent. Still got in the mould of elephantine stomach both times safely.

Youngsters were spotted trying to make a snow slide for their multicoloured plastic, whatever they were called.

Got another reminder from Severn-Trent!

By gum, the snow’s cleared mighty fast?

Aha, it looks like we might see sundown shortly.

Back Again!

The sunset began earlier than usual.

The sun was going down so fast…
It seemed like just ten minutes later…
In the first of these shots, just caught the last glimpse of the sun as it disappeared from view.
The sunset was all over, just some reflection from the disappeared sun. Not sure if reflection is the right word… can anyone help, please?

Carer Josef arrived, we got the medications done and
had a little natter. Which I enjoyed

Carer Jo-Anne – no night bags. Ah, well!

Closed down the computer around midnight and got some nosh sorted

Apache potatoes (7.2/10)
Imitation Porkies (6/10)
Orange tomatoes (8.3/10)
Sourdough rolls… (7/10)
Lathered with delicious Flora Soya butter. (9.2/10). (For Billum in Ohio)
The average score is beyond my skills at the moment.

I enjoyed it, and emptied the 7th-level rated urine coloured.
pouch.

I took this wobbly, blurry shot of the pouch as I emptied it.
A bad photograph. Due to my bending and shaking and bad eyes.
The colour was, as I said, top,  worst graded 7.

Nightie-Night!
Well, Good Morning (04:00hrs).

Not much gen today. It’s been another in-and-out-of-it day, up and down, and I fell asleep on the computer chair. Carer Carolynne, or Sam, or… came in and woke me, saying I? was slowly slipping floorwards… Hehe!

A smidge of bloody urine in the well-filled bag this morning.

Emptied the bag and bucket, washed and disinfected. Got the waste bags sorted. And called to the Porcelain Throne. Messy! Got the ablutions done, many cuts shaving, but nothing serious. Then… back on the Throne for the second session. Cleaned the floor.

Checked on the lack of food in the fridge. Hope the new bank card arrives soon… then I’ve got to get the details changed on all the sites… Oh, dear.
Off to get the ablutions done. No showering; it is too early to disturb folks with the noise of the drain and pump. Had a stand-up job. But it still took me over two hours to finish everything, including Throne visits three and four. (Yes!) Snf that was without doing the teeth (I forgot, Humph!) And didn’t medicate Little Inchies Fungal Lesion, Harold’s Haemorrhoids or even put the eye drops in! I did the olive oil in both ear holes.

Had a mock clean-up in the kitchen.
Then, much to my surprise, the Ocado delivery arrived. This was because Ocado takes your money as you ordered (before the card was cancelled) and then compensates you for any shortages within the next five working days, as I understand it.

The good news was that they had sent some Apache potatoes, and bread, lots of bread. I had a job to get it all in the freezer.
I pondered on having a can of the minted pea soup with some potatoes this evening. Then realised it was afternoon already.
Had I had another Mind-Blank?

Late afternoon, the first snow of the year descended. I tried to get some shots in, despite it being so dark already, with the hopes of catching some snow in them.

Got a few flakes in this one…
And this one…
And again…
Not sure about this wider snap… The snow had stopped by the time I took this one.
Carer Kara was here, and as she left, she handed me two letters that had been posted. One was the… The British Gas electricity bill… for
£453!

Got some tomatoes seasoned to have some sausages with later.
The peas & potatoes had lost favour!

No more snow, but looking glum.

Computer blogging and mistake making.

Oh, not so clear again.

Nosh-Time! (00:45hrs)

Vegan Sausages…
And they were Grrreat!
Added the links to the tomatoes. Which were
seasoned with sea salt, vinegar, basil, and
some imitation soy bacon bits too!
Sourdough bread to dunk in the tomatoes
and dribbled all down the dressing gown.
acci-whoopFinding its way between my legs vis the chest
and mould of the stomach and onto poor
Little Inchies Fungal Lesion. Not only that,
but it got onto the tubing and other bits of
So sleep was further delayed due to the need to clean up
myself, the chair and change clothes.

During this, I managed to misplace my hearing aids.
With , and all getting worse, there is no chance of reading the subtitles!
So, no watching football on the telly.
It took me until about 03:30 hours, but I eventually found
the hearing aids. They had fallen and ended up underneath
the 1963 Hopewells E-plan cabinet with the doors falling off.

I got the picker-upperer but had to get down on my knees. Why?
Because right at the back against the wall, I spotted my missing wind-up torch… three various tablets… the missing ultra-black-ink pen, a letter
from British Gas telling me I must update my cash card details,

Getting back up… Hah!

I got settled, took some painkillers, swore a bit and off in
a search of around 04:40hrs!

PHOTOS OF THE DAY (Un fings, like…)

The pins and plates looked betterer

Day bag soon filled, then stopped in the afternoon?

I had a natter with my family from the Manor Laboratories
in Cincinnati. Cute they are! ♥

INR blood test, tea & notepad.

Not exactly sure what this was supposed to be a photo of…
But I got it wrong again.
I’m good at that!

Afternoon sky – a bit glum here.

ODE TO GLUM
That’s an odd word, innit, Glum?…
Another odd word to me is sistrum…
Could be because I’ve just taken my Diascorium?
Whichever end of the social spectrum…
Short of dosh, gelt, pounds, yen, or ngultrum,
Have a drink, perhaps some rum?
That should help you not to be glum!

Darker now, no sign of a sunset…
Cragknangles!

The bottom field.
Not a soul in sight…
Chestnut Way car park…
Not a soul in sight.

Goodnight!

At certain times today, I was with it -ish!
But not very often, really.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The night bag this morning. 5-6 on colour patch.

Blimus! This is the day pouch an hour or so later.
Full and bloody – or bloody full. Hehehe!

Two more hours later, this!.

Carers table.

Bad photo of right foot.
But it is better than yesterday.

Evening shot of the sky.

Evening shot of the sky, slightly lower.

Down a bit more…

Down to the car park.

Now you may be wondering where all the details
and other photographs are?. So am I!
I remember having problems with the computer last night. Seriously disconcerting. It was so bad that I had to force close the computer and reboot it again. I think as this was done, It was Carer Jozef that arrived, and I moaned and groaned at my luck a little. Sorry, mate.
Worse was to come!
I’d lost six hours of CorelDraw work. The Ode, photographs, header cartoon graphics, and what was saved were virtually too hard to find, as they seemed to have been saved all over the hard and external storage… I was furious!
But defeated. I turned off the computer, hoping to sort it all out in the morning. Then took the evening shots above and got the stew made.

Well, not stew, more a can of soup, to which I added a mass of soy imitation bacon bits and a load of baked mini-cubes of potatoes.
Along with the traditional for me, tomato passata, liquid smoke, BBQ sauce and salt and vinegar.
Despite my so low mood, I enjoyed it.
Flavour Rating: 7.8/10.

Worran ‘orrible day!

WELL, SNIPPETS, ANY WAY…

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Today was possibly, maybe, perhaps, conceivably, feasibly perhaps, I imagine, I dare say without too much doubt (although this may be debatable), it is plausibly my worst day since being born, then years later, finding out from the midwife that mater’s first words and action as the accoucheuse lady handed me to mother in a bloodied pillow slip.

This is Genuine; Mother also admitted it years later.
Telling me that she took to me later.

“I don’t want it; throw it in the Trent!” Then dropped her fag ash from her Park Drive all over me.” Not one of the best starts to life, but now I’m nearing the end of it; it dawns on me that nothing seems to have changed?

Ah, life’s been good to me”

Not much of Diary again, sorry. I even had a roughly three-hour spell of total memory loss, a Mind-Blank, if you like. Mind you, when I came back into ersatz reality, the sunset was just starting, and I spent about two hours photographing the sun and skies… I’m just addicted to the beauty of it. Not a lot I can remember, my scrawled notes are not of much use, I’m afraid.

Anyway, here I go…

Up around 06:15hrs, and realised that the need for the porcelain Throne was due. I got the night pouch off of the .
Hastened to the Throne and a messy job it was again.

To the kitchen to take these three terrible photographs of the view.

Sorry about this…
Not good at all…

Made up the waste bags, a brew and Carer Jozef arrived. He was obviously running behind and wanted and or needed to press on with his rounds. So I did not engage him in any gossiping. Nice lad.

Made a start on updating yesterday’s blog. The pouch was filling up and needed emptying a few times more than usual… but every single time I bent down to open the valve for emptying, I went light-headed, and Dizzy Dennis paid a visit. This went on all day and is the same now at 23:00hrs

Then, the mind blank arrived. Not the foggiest memory, but a Carer had been and signed the log… who or what happened? I know not.
Also, my little finger was hurting and the left side of the jaw too???
A tumble? Had I walked into a doorframe again? Mmm?

I remember Carer Caroline arriving, and I found out that I’d not given her a torch, so did so. Lovely gal!

Things came back as normal as they can be for me around sunset time. And boy, did I get fascinated by the changing sky… Yes, I did! Hehe!
Here are all the Sunset photographs I took; I think I spent ages, with a few interruptions:

First shot

Clouds move all the time…

Sun lowering…

Coming through…

Nearly through…

Took a close-up

Getting brighter…

Ah, the colour comes…

Darn it! Had to go empty the pouch.
Got back in time to catch these beauties…

Wonderful!

Wider shot…

Picturesque…

Globble-rots, off to use the Throne again.
All changed again…

Awesome, the sun is not gone yet…

She has now, but she was still lighting the clouds…

Grrreat effects!

Daunting…

Hello, the sun’s showing again?.
How does that work, then?.

Outstanding!

Another change? I love this!

Mother Nature…

All gone dark… but not for long….
Horison lights up?

The strip narrows.

Then goes…

The high sky goes grey.

Horizon strip white…

Well, a bluey-pink. Hehe!

Nightie-night…

Hello, hello. Can you see this?

I do believe I’m just seen and taken a shot of Jupiter?

Putting the camera away, Carer Richard came in.
I’ve missed the lad. He seemed in a decent mood and looked better than he did last week, I’m pleased to report.
He said he’d change the day catheter in the morning and then add the night pouch to .
I feel like I spoke a lot, but can’t recall what about some sort of moaning, most likely. Grumpy Old Men do that!

I had a handful of fries done in the air-fryer, then a pot noodle with tons of seasoning in it. Dunked some bread in it.

Sleep came easily…
As did the shooting awakes with a jerk!
HUMPH!

THE PAROLE BOARD WILL CUT IT SHORT!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

DVT Nurse, then the Urology Nurse Fiona, who called twice; First, to take off the catheter and scan the bladder and returned to scan again. She was not so happy with this one. and to see how and if the urine was flowing. She’s coming back tomorrow to do another bladder scan, with ink inserted. And if necessary, to put the catheter back in. Oh, dearie me! Amazon delivery. Important letters arrived. Trotsky Terence was in full charge of the many messy Porcelain Throne usages. I took a tumble in the hallway. Got to stop taking the Anti whatsit capsules… but may need to start taking them tomorrow according to the ink reading results on the scanner. I’m thoroughly confused now. Although this is nothing unusual.

Burnt fingers on the oven. Then I lost the mobile phone. Found it four hours later… I prefer not to say where I found it… Oh, go in then… It was in the oven!?!? Luckily the oven was not on. The question is, why and how did I put it in there in the first place? Pass!

So, an even busier day, the photos and graphics will get put on. Many memory blanks, it’s getting late already and I’ve not started the blog graphics yet.

Two morning photos were taken between the multitude of messy, spongy, gooey visits suffered.
.

.
Potatoes are put in a slow cooker around 08:00hrs.
Got taken out around 21:00hrs.

.
Got the Night Catheter off.

.
The eighth visit to the .

.
The ninth visit to the .

.
Nurse Fiona arrived, she was a breath of fresh air, Bless Her! (Yes, I fell in love again!) She was here for well over an hour. When she’d painlessly removed the catheter from Little Inchie, she did a bladder scan.
Too much urine in the bladder. Back to water drinking. That amount of urine should have been released into the catheter. She said she’ll return later in the afternoon to have a look. Constantly reminding me to drink, drink, drink! Hehe!
So I drunk!

The Asda order arrived

.
Made sure I guzzled water while putting the food away!

.
Delivery

.
Bit naughty with the biscuits?

.
Cut back on this order

.
Although… maybe not enough? Haha!

.
When Fiona returned, I’d shrank a two-litre bottle of Valley Spring water. A one-litre Sunrise water and a flavoured 2-litre Elm Water.
I showed Fiona the water bottle for the urine and the drops I’d passed, and Fiona seemed happy enough with my efforts. She asked me to try and pass again, which I did, but not a lot. Seeing the liquid changed her mood a smidgen, And she did another bladder scan there and then.
She, or someone else, will return tomorrow with a different scanner. I don’t think she was impressed with whatever it was that the scanner revealed. She repeated that if I can’t pass more water, they will have to refit the Catheter in the morning; if so, I’m to restart taking the Acute Pyelonephritis capsules.
It’s all go here!

Teatime rains

Around 19:30 hrs. Wonderful sky!

Carer Kara and Joseph called during the day. Kara will try to contact Easy-Link to get a lift to the Coppice Mental Health Hospital for me. And contact Easy Link about whether or not I owe them or they’ve taken the money out.

Well, fancy that!

Straps were left by Fiona in case the catheter has to go back on tomorrow.
at the thought of it!

Fiona left reminders for me about things. I can’t remember what they were at the moment. They were for the carers as well, I think.

Carer Richard Did the late call on me. Checked the Meds, taps, and cooker. He wrote a message in marker pen on the fridge door, as he knew I was abbot to cook my belated meal of the day, to remind me to turn off the taps and cooker.

Early morning nosh prepared.
Very nice, too, it was.
Flavour Rating 8.5/10.

I REGRET I’M NOT VERY WELL TODAY. THE ANNE GYNA TABLETS, ALONG WITH THE MONTHS PRESCRIPTIONS, HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVED OR FETCHED (As you can read in the Ode above, my love).

HAD CARER RICHARD NOT GONE OFF SICK, I’M CERTAIN THAT HE WOULD HAVE SPOTTED THE PROBLEM AND SORTED THIS OUT.
I’m not up to coping with computing. The constant noise from the imbecile dwelling above me and the Cataract, Glaucoma eyes worsening
. The big thing is the Angina pain from the lack of tablets; this is also constant. The months’ prescriptions were, I was informed by a Carer, coming Friday – then Saturday; it’s now Sunday, no chance of getting any today. Today, they are coming tomorrow, on Monday. Tuesday, I’ve got an appointment with two different nurses, one DVT and another, can’t remember what department she is from… possibly the Mental Health hospital, but I’m guessing here.

PLEASE FORGIVE THE LACK OF CONTENT. TUESDAY WILL BE THE SAME, WITH THE APPOINTMENTS I’VE GOT TO GO TO.
I can zoom in on CorelDraw and Word, so will try to put the Ode, HC Log and Nottingham News Snippets in. For any photos, I’ll just not have the time to doctor or comment much on any. Cheers.

Early morning shots.
