01:35hrs: I woke, disencumbered the Xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting, when I was in the Stroke Ward, and he fitted new CCTC cameras, and searched for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet five-months later) £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, recliner of my body-mass. Positioned myself semi-perpendicular, and almost without realising it, found myself in the wet room, and dropping the PPs to use the Porcelain Throne, when I discerned I didn’t need to!

WDP09LWD 125.0.0 So, I had a wee-wee, and it was another of the rare, but long, long, ongoing, ‘When will it ever stop’, LSDOP (Long-Slow-Drawn-Out-Painful) variety. The pain with it was not precisely excruciating, but it was there for the entire time the wee-weeing took place, and that was a good few minutes it lingered on afterwards! Definitely got an infection in the bladder again! Humph!

While it was slowly trickling out, I pondered on the day’s needs, thus not overthinking about the uncomfortable searing stings from the piddling session. A day indoors today, cause the things are to be delivered from Amazon, between 07:00 and 22:00hrs, and the Stroke After Care man said he would call if he could find the time!

5Fri01I got in the kitchen what seemed like hours after I’d woken up, but it was only half an hour or so. I took the medications and made a brew, the first of oh so many today! The thirst was with me again and as strong as ever. I leaned out of the appallingly badly designed new kitchen window, to take a shot of the morning view.

WDP 08L01WD 125.0.0 I got the computer on and began to update yesterday’s blog. I knew it would take me a long time, cause I had taken so many pictures while I was out and about. As I stood up to go for another wee-wee, Back-Pain-Brenda gave me one heck of a twinge! I froze where I was, dropped the stick WDPH01Land nearly went over. But my being such a fit, athletic, in tip-top condition, agile, nimble sort of energetic young man, I used my tremendous courage and physical abilities to avoid falling over. This may be pandiculating the truth a tad? Hehehe! This wee-wee was another unsettling LSDOP type.

It was cold in the flat this morning. Everything had shrunken that could do. Hehe!

WDP09LWD 125.0.0 The getting the post finished and sent off to WordPress, took me over five hours in the end! The slog was broken by five trips to the loo, every one of the LSDOP style! But at least the expected and anticipated further Libert-Global Virgin Media Internet going down on me didn’t happen. Yet! I went on the WordPress reader section, not a lot on there. But what was on, shone out.

I made an Iceland order.

Then got the ablutions done. And they went well for once. I needed another Porcelain Throne visit, too. Yes, a few dropsies; Toilet roll, toothbrush and paste tube, shaving foam can, razors, soap and Haemorrhoid Harold’s cream; but minimal bleeding, no toe stubbings, clouts again anything hard, and I avoided the sock-glide battle by leaving the 5Fri006socks off! Smugness Creeping in Here! Haha!

WDPright05aWD 125.0.0 But, however, and notwithstanding, the pins were in a right mess again. Paler than never, new blotches and blood papsules, spider, lymph vessels. CVI (phlebitis) and Clopidogrel. But the lumps and Varicose veins seemed far less obvious?

Also, the old ankle ulcer had calmed down from yesterday.

5Fri005WD 125.0.0On the L9 coming home yesterday, the bus went around a corner sharply, and I banged my arm against the trolley handle. I remember saying to Louie, well that’s another bruise to come up and laughing about it.

5Fri007Well, here it is (Above) Humph!

I got myself dried and freshly adorned. And found a letter had been delivered while I was ablutionalisationing. From the Stroke CityCare team. Six pages, with forms to fill in. They are 5Fri007ccalling next Friday 11:40 to 12:40hrs.

It’s getting misty now and light drizzle with it. I took a break from the sending-me goggle-eyed computerisationing and got the much-belated hand-washing done. Only a long-sleeved shirt and a pair of socks. Wrung them out and got the shirt hanging above the sink in the kitchen, and the diabetic bamboo socks on the flat airer.

5Fri08I checked on the Tracker for the Amazon deliveries. Best as I could tell, the torches and tea bags might arrive for 19hrs, and the Dressing Gown via Post Office delivery could be about October next year. Haha!

I daren’t go out to take any rubbish to the chute, in case a delivery arrives and I miss the intercom… that’s assuming it will be working today?

WD 125.0.0 I got some graphicalisationing started in CorelDraw, to get me ahead with the task hopefully. It was a slow grind, with the fingertips often losing sensation and causing me all sorts of messes to try and sort out, Tsk!

After giving up on the computerisationing, due to the ailments granted adscititious hassle, and the ever-correcting mistakes problem it was causing me. Not the least is the frustration and the mind’s acataphasia, I had to surrender.

5Fri13WD 125.0.0Ar5Fri09ound 14:00hrs, the doorbell chimed, and a highly-stressed looking Post Office worker, delivered the parcel containing the cheapo-clearance sale priced dressing gown. Which was a bit of a disappointment in many ways. The deep brown colour on the one shown on Amazon (Left), turned out to be a terribly uneven beige sort of tone, Mind you, I am partially colour blind. I opened the package, and bits of cotton fell out of it. Took the towelling cotton gown out, and even more bits of fluff and white cotton ended up on the carpet. I hung up the purchase to photograph it, and left a trail of bits from junk room to the kitchen, in the hallway. Closer inspection, and reading of the paperwork, this was a one-size option? Although I clicked on Large/Extra Large on the order page, the thing was a little small for my endomorphic, adipose, and overweight, many stomach-folds and chins adorned body to fit into. Hey-Ho! Always the Shlimazel!

I cleaned up the kitchen tops a bit, made a brew of Glengettie. Rearranged the drying handwashing, and went for a wee-wee.

WD 125.0.0 Crikey! What a one that was! A multiple-problem one! To start with, it was another BOBSL (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived) wee-wee. But Little Inchies fungal lesion was haemorrhaging. After cleaning and medicating, then changing the PPs, the wee-weeing started again! This time it was a totally different style, in the LSDOP (Long-Slow-Drawn-Out-Painful) mode. Humph!

5Fri10Around 15:25hrs, the intercom lit-up and rang out. Fortunately, I was in the hallway at the time, it was the Amazon delivery.  I opened the foyer door and waiting for the chap to arrive at the flat. He handed the parcel over, I thanked the young man, off he shot, and I took the stuff into the kitchen, to open and inspect the contents.

5Fri11I tried out one of the wind-up torches, and it worked fine. I left one on the Ottoman near the recliner, for my use, and put the other three away as pressies for Christmas. I resisted making a brew of the Punjana black tea, I would enjoy that treat in the morning, I was too tired to appreciate it at the moment. I still had a part-filled mug of Glengettie anyway.

So, now I could start on the meal preparation. I got some black bean sauce and chopped some tomatoes in with it, got it in the saucepan warming up slowly, and kept an eye on it, stirring it regularly. The oven had been heating up to low heat for hours in readiness.

5Fri14WD 125.0.0 I opened the tray of vegetable risotto. Punctured the film, and got it into the oven.

I checked and stirred the sauce and tomatoes, and realised I had put in Korean BBQ sauce my mistake for the black bean sauce! But I left it. I even added a drop of the Sukang Puti vinegar to the mix as well. I’ll try anything once. Haha!

While the Vegetable Risotto cooked, I kept stirring the sauce in the pan, while I had a look at the contents of the meal on the sleeve label. They were: Cooked Risotto Rice (36%) (Water, Risotto Rice), Tomato (20%), Roasted Vegetables (16%) (Red Onion, Courgette, Red Pepper, Butternut Squash), Onion, White Wine, Water, Vegetable Oils (Rapeseed, Sunflower), Pesto Sauce (3%) (Sunflower Oil, Basil, Medium Fat Hard Cheese [Milk], Salt), Regato Cheese (Milk), Garlic, Herbs, Garlic Purée, Demerara Sugar, Cornflour, Salt, Tomato Purée, Rehydrated Sun-Dried Tomato, Black Pepper, White Wine Vinegar, Basil, Sugar, Garlic Extract, Basil Extract. Mmm?

I put a sourdough baguette in the oven half-way through cooking. Got a Limoncello dessert, a bottle of fresh orange juice and an apple on the tray with the cutlery all ready for dining! And awaited the feast to cook!

5Fri12The mixture did not look overly attractive when I served it up and mixed in the Korean BBQ sauce and tomatoes in the dish.

What a stab in the dark meal, but it was the best, the most enjoyable one I’ve had in ages! Gorgeous Flavour! The Aldi sourdough baguette was warm inside and so crispy crusted! I’d overcooked it a bit, but it turned out lovely! The vegetable risotto and BBQ sauce went down a right treat! Even the few drops of the Sukang Puti Vinegar could be tasted. This must be the most potent vinegar on the market? The Taste-Rating of 9.25/10 was deserved!

I dined and wallowed in delight as I gobbled-up the meal. And felt well surfeited afterwards. I lay there, satisfied and happy, then fell-asleep.

WD 125.0.0 I woke an hour or so later, in a desperate need of a wee-wee. And what a calamity followed as I tried to get up quickly out of the Xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting, when I was in the Stroke Ward, he fitted new CCTC cameras, and searched the flat for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet five-months later), £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working, uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner, to go for my wee-wee! .

WDPright03WD 150.0.0a I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick, and entirely concentrating on getting to the wet room, didn’t realise that the food tray was still on my knees, it fell off, I wobbled, lost control (still half-asleep?) of the stick, and fell in a heap over the Ottoman. Knocking over the airer and handwashing on my way to the floor! Hit my chin and caught the right arm on the bruise, then all was silent. I lay there, I must have looked like a collapsed rhinoceros amidst the clothes, the now bent airer, and the walking stick having come to rest close to the Little Inchy location! I freed myself of the entangled airer and clothing and moved away on my knees, which started Arthur Itis off, I moved to some stable furniture and used it to get myself back on my feet, (Not an easy task!), retrieved the stick, and off to the wet room!

wdp02LeftWD 125.0.0 But I didn’t make it in time! My earlier joy at the wonderful meal, dissipated, to be replaced with an ‘Embarrassing and Self-deprecation’ mood! At my age, something like this has to happen! Even the wee-wee (what was left off it), was one of the RWPS (Reluctant-Weak-Painful-Spraying) type! Humph! I cleaned things up, changed clothes, and put on a new set of PP’s.

Well, I could have done without that series of Whoopsiedangleplops!

WDPright02WD 125.0.0 The Arthur Itis knees, Back-Pain-Brenda and a new pain in the ribs, now! I had to sort out the room. The airer is now bent out of shape. (As would be most things that my substantially voluminous, jelly-mould body falls on!)

The tray and cutlery had to be collected and washed. The carpet had to be cleaned with the brush and dustpan (carefully), too late to use the hoover. The clothes refitted on the airer, which was still working!

WD 125.0.0 Then, sod-me, I needed another wee-wee, this time I fetched the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket). It was a different type again! Of the LRWS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) variety. I wonder what the hell is going off with the bladder?

I got a wash and changed PP’s again, just in case anything happens later. Got a drink of Springwater by the recliner and sat down on it… not the springwater, the chair! Much to the displeasure of Arthur Itis and Back-Pain-Brenda.

WDP 12cHowever, despite the recent altercationalistic happenings, sleep actually came, no getting up for any wee-wees, no dream and no ailment pains woke me up? They perhaps felt sorry for me? Hahaha!

Inchcock – Sat 12 Jan 2019: The highlight of the day being the few moments that I was Not Wee-weeing! Tsk!

Saturday 12th January 2019

German: Samstag, 12. Januar 2019

00:30hrs. Another different awaking mood this morning. I was in a ‘Sod-it-I-Can’t-Win, so why bother!’ Mode. I lay there atop of the £300 second-hand recliner and spotted some bits of mushrooms and cheese on the carpet that I had missed when cleaning up from last nights disastrous falling asleep while eating. And I seem unperturbed by this?  Normally, I would have verbally ostracised myself for being so incapable.

I suspect that as I age, I think I am sensing sadness and weltschmerz at the way things are going on earth?

I got the idea and urged to do a funny ode about the EIBWBBBs (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles), or rather the sudden lack of them. This thought had lodged firmly into my challenged brain.

I got free of the £300 second-hand 1970 built rickety recliner, with complaints only from the knees this morning. I was forced to grab for the disinfected bin for a wee-wee, a short-sharp-painfull one, not a long forceful hose-pipe type one. But I knew I was going to take the medications shortly, and this includes the Furesomide tablet. So things may change in the wee-wee department. (Boy was I to find out how right I was!)  I went to empty the tub, then returned it ready for any further use that may be needed, to near the computer.

I sensed great mansuetude in myself this morning. I felt ireless. Even a little apanthropinisational. But why?

Cleaned up the bits on the carpet missed last night, not an easy task with the knees playing up. Then off to the kitchen to do the Health Checks.

6sat05

6sat03All was looking good on the Health Check results.

Please take it as said, that the SSPWWs were taken many times throughout the morning and up to around midday when the frequency eased off a little.

I got the computer on and started to compose the little ode to the Weevil Wars Ending.

As I was getting to the end of it, many hours later. The concentration had gone to pot on me. I reckon I spent over six hours on this post, from scratch and including the photographs of course. I also mad a header graphic up to use for this post alone, which took a great deal of time on its own.

I made a very late start on this diary.

The concentration was getting a little worse, so I took a break and got the nosh sorted out. The afternoon seemed to lighten up as I got the fodder from the crock-pot.

6sat07Minced lamb, chestnut mushrooms and peas in lamb and mint flavoured gravy. A small wholemeal baguette, to soak up the gravy with. Mmm! And a limoncello dessert for afters.

After eating up all of the meal, I placed the tray on the chair next to the recliner and considered what my actions would be after I had washed up the pots and pans. Not a lot… Zzzz!

Inchcock – Tue 8 Jan 2019: Sorry it’s a long one. But it was such a busy, painful and Whoopsiedangleplop day, yet an enjoyable one. Hehe!

Tuesday 8th January 2019

Mongolian: 2019 оны 1 дүгээр сарын 8-ны Мягмар гараг

23:10hrs. I woke with the brain in its natural receptive mood for worries, fretting, panicking, nervousness, utter-confusion, and agitation. I expected this to be interrupted as it normally is, by a call to the Porcelain Throne, an SSWW (Short-Dahrp-Wee-wee) or my discovering I was surrounded with signs of nocturnal nibbling evidence.

But no, not this morning.

2tue03WD 128.0.128However, the dwaal of thoughts soon faded into the ether, as I caught sight of the greatly extended and much more obtruding than usual stomach! With the heart op scars now more defined and stretched wide? A few more papsules had grown as well?

And where has all the hair gone? Ah, that was one of the side-effects of Furosemide, hair loss, I remember now!

I thought to myself: I could blow-up here! I hope I don’t get the dizzies and topple over onto my gut, or Splat, thud, silence, no more me! Hahaha!

WD 128.0.128 With an operose effort, I extracted the more than usually stretched like a balloon stomach from the £300 second-hand recliner and got on my feet. There no bones, joints or any part of my torso, legs, knees, ankles, feet, even toes that didn’t moan in a complaint at my actions of movement! Oddly, the only bit of me that didn’t show any pain was the bulbous abdomen! In fact, it felt as if it was not a part of me. Some bizarre stuff going on here? With a few Oohs and arghs, and the occasional silent curse, I made my way limpingly to the kitchen.

But, within a few minutes, things seemed to settled down pain-wise. I assumed the problem was my marathon-hobble yesterday. The bones and joints, having not been used for six days or so prior, were unhappy about it. I’m glad I didn’t croak-out over the six or seven days when I spoke to or saw nobody. What a stink I would have left for the other tenants. Especially, if the tummy had exploded! Hahaha!

Had an SSWW. As I got the gear out for the Health Checks, thermometer, hypodermic, medications, creams, lotions, and sphygmomanometer, etc., I had to divert back to the wet room and for a Porcelain Throne session. Back to the messy, liquified type. But, no bleeding from the front or rear, which I welcomed. There was a lot of involuntary wind escaping, though. A quick wash, and back to the Health Checking.

2tue05

2tue04

The hemadynamometer took a couple of tries before it worked. Must do a battery check if I remember late.

As the fluid appears to be going down in the legs, the BP seems to be rising?

I took just a half a Furosemide today with the other medications.

Started computerisationing. 2tue06

It took me a phenomenal amount of time to get the Monday post completed. As I expected it would. Yesterday had been a photo-filled painful marathon, that needed a lot of concentration and detailed presentationing to get anywhere near how I wanted it to appear. The Liberty-Global Virgin Media’s poor performance didn’t help at all. Eventually, I got it sorted and posted.

I checked the Emails, and Sister Jane and hubby Pete had sent me their kind permission to visit them today at their castle (Christmas and birthday presents to be taken). So, a long day ahead for yours-truly. Got to get blogs sorted, gather the pressies for Jane and Pete’s Christmas and birthday treats. Do the ablutions. Then carry the gifts with me on my walk to the doctor’s surgery for the blood test. Then walk carrying them into town, take some photos while I wait for the bus to arrive to get me to West Bridgford, then walk burdened to their mansion with the pressies. Get Pete to take some posed photographs. Get told-off by Sister Jane about as yet unknown things (My increasing weight will no doubt be on her agenda, Hehe!) Then leave early, catch a bus to town, then another to the hospital; so I can get to the clinic for 1430hrs. Then get a bus to… But its no bother at all! I’ve frit myself thinking of it. Hahaha! I think the wee-weeing and body will cope alright, though. (He says confidently)

2tue15b

I made a start on this post. But had no time to Comments, Facebooking or WordPress reader section viewing. I shall certainly not be fit enough when I get back to do anything. Anyway, I must get the ablutions done.

All cleaned and cleansed. I got the pressies in the bags, realised the weight and just knew that I would struggle on my hobble. But didn’t understand how bad it would be at this time, and thought I’d cope alright. What a Luftmensh!

I set out, with foolish confidence that I’d get through the walk to the doctors for the blood test, and then carry on hobbling into town, to catch a bus to Sister Jane’s splendacious security mansion with its Burg-Wächter PointSafe, two-alarms, a bedroom converted to a wine cellar, nine CCTV cameras. And hubby Petes collection of spy cameras, drones, tasers, knuckle-dusters, cars, electric bikes, truncheons, spectacles with cams fitted, Danalock Bluetooth Z-Wave Smart Lock, and 2tue07motion sensors. Well, with the amount of cash and things left to them by distant unknown relatives, and all their winnings on the Football Pools and Lottery over the years, you can’t blame them! Jealous? Me? Au Contraire!

The lift cage was in a bit of a state as I noticed as I got in it. Mind you, so was I. Haha!

2tue08By the time I had limped down Winchester Street hill and got onto Mansfield Road, the toes and left foot was giving me enough bother for me to consider my going back home. But, my desire to see Jane and Pete, and supply them with some alcohol to keep them going (Guffaw!), I decided to press on.

2tue09The traffic was heavy now, as I arrived in Carrington at the surgery in a right pickle, physically. The weight of the bags had taken a lot out of me, and I knew I had twice as far to go yet to get to town afterwards.

I signed in, remembering to ask for an appointment with the doctor for next Tuesday. My remembering to this, made me feel good! I took a seat, getting out the crossword book from the cram-filled bag. Then, I heard moments later, the voice of Nurse Ann bark out my name. I followed her, as she showed obvious annoyance at my slow limping pace and maladroit struggle to keep up with her on the walk to her torture roo… sorry, treatment room. “Go straight through, sit there, I don’t have much time allowed, let’s get on with it!” I was not in any condition to argue, I sat got the arm ready, and she soon had the blood taken. I continued to waffle throughout. She asked what the problem was with my foot, and I told her, not that my words got any reception much. My taking the wrong paperwork with me didn’t help matters. I got the impression that she considered me a bit of a kvetch or jobbernowle. Oh, dear! Still, the gal was only doing her job conscientiously. I thanked her and slipped her a mini bottle wine for a New Year treat. She put it out of view straight away, telling me she did not want anyone to think she was drinking on the job. I thought of a funny response to that statement, but judiciously, I kept it to myself. I handed a bag of nibbles in on the reception desk as I left.

Amazingly I had spent only 13 minutes in the surgery. Now I was out in the dark again and had to hobble to the City Centre. Which was no problem time-wise as I had an hour and a half to get there. Usually, this route would take me about 40 minutes, but I knew I would have to keep stopping while the toe pains lessened and starting again.

2tue10As I got to the Boulevard traffic island, the first of many to follow stops were taken. The pain was on my limits of tolerations, but each time I stopped, the pain died down and off I’d go again… I’m losing my plot here, sorry. As I rested, I took this photograph of an overhanging bush on the pavement side. Bootiful! A winter-growing delicate flower it seems.

2tue10aWD 128.0.128 I pressed on, up the hill and down to near the junction with Huntingdon Street, where this Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist belted by me so close I felt a draught! Git! I put down the bags and had to zoom in to get this photo of the animal. A bit blurry I know, but I was shaking with part surprise at the idiot doing what he did, and rage!

Still, it gave me time for a couple of minutes to recover and let the toe pain lessen, before starting-off again.

When I got into town, I still had a while before the first West Bridgford bus was due. Although the 40-minute walk had taken me well over an hour with the toe hassle and breaks, I needed to take. I was concerned about this and decided to have a look at the state of the foot as soon as I got a chance. If the skin were broken, I’d rub some of the Phorpain gel on it. I dare not take any extra painkillers while I’m on the Furesomide.

I visited the Victoria Centre shopping mall in2tue11 search of chocolate treats for Jan and Pete. I got a chocolate football boot for Pete; and an Angel one for Jane. I had their name put on them in icing. After paying for them, I reorganised the bags, so they were both on the top of the other stuff, I didn’t want to break or squash them.

WD 128.0.128 I left out onto Upper Parliament Street; it was getting much lighter now. I went over to the bus stop, and for the devil-of-me, I could not recall which bus I needed. I knew it was either a number 5 or 7. After asking someone who did not know, I checked the route timing on the board and decided it was number 7 I needed. Which fortunately arrived in ten minutes.

2tue11aI got the camera against the window of the bus, with the intention of taking a photograph of the Nottingham Forest ground as I went over Trent Bridge.

I took this terrible accidental shot from the bus before we got to the bridge. The shaking about made me catch the button I think. Then at the next bus stop, a large lady sat in the seat in front, and that the end my picture plans.

I alighted on Davis Road, right at the end of Jane’s road. Avoiding a long walk, which was good! I rang them, to let them know I was on the way. I was greeted at the door. A sad sight I must have been. I was in much pain, shattered, and struggled to get over the doorstep when I was admitted and had been given permission to enter. Chuckle!

Jane asked about how many cards I’d had – Boing! I’d put them all on top of the DVD shelving, and forgotten all about them, this did not impress Jane in the slightest! To be fair, it didn’t impress me much either!

A great welcome awaited me. These are photographs I took on my wonderful visit:

Sister Jane helped me clarify a few things:

  1. I am eating the wrong food for breakfast. It should be boiled egg or cereals!
  2. My fluid-filled gigantic Furosomide induced stomach is my own fault for overeating.
  3. I can get off the bus at the railway station and catch a tram into town, then get an L9 home.
  4. My weight is my fault, and I must get it down.
  5. The flat needs cleaning and tidying urgently.
  6. I have to stop buying things I don’t need.
  7. I have no will-power!
  8. I must stop eating pork pies!
  9. They both liked the pressies I’d took them, particularly the bottles of wine. Hehe!

2tue12dPete took some shots of me to use in future graphics, bless him.

After telling me the best way to go home, we hugged, and I departed.

WD 128.0.128 Just avoiding this Pavement Cyclist while I was at the bus stop. Grumph!

I had a while to spare before the bus was due when I got in town. I had a walk around. A bit busier today.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

2tue12gWD 128.0.128 The toes started to ache and hurt again. I caught the bus home, without seeing any fellow residents en route or on the bus.

When we arrived back at Winwood Heights, the bus going the other way was in front of us unloading.

I called out to the folks who got off ahead of me. I could see, Penny, Mary and Welsh William… They just increased their speed. Hahaha! By the time I got in, they had all gone, along with my chances for a litter gossip or natter.

I was totally done-in when I arrived home. The toes in agony, SSWWs needed repeatedly, and I was really hungry for some reason.

2tue14WD 128.0.128 First thing I did was to investigate the troubled tootsies! Not a pretty sight, and I could not see what had caused this ailment? Yesterday, there were no signs of lesions or blood? I could not apply any pain-gel, while the skin is cracked.

I got the Health Checks done for midday and evening together. The medications were taken.

I got the sourdough part-baked baguette in the 2tue15oven. When it was cooked, I broke it up and buttered bits of it, adding the salad selection and egg to it. Oh, and a mini pork pie. Please don’t mention the mini pork pie to Sister Jane, I beg you.

It went down a treat! I gave this effort a Flavour Rating of 8.9/10.

I got the TV on, to watch a ‘Frost’ DVD episode on.

WD 128.0.128 I hadn’t got far into it, when I heard noises, and this was with the headphones on!

I got out of the recliner and had a wander around in search of any danger the noises might be from.

Whe2tue15an checking the spare room, I thought this scene outside. It looked a bit like a computer generated image. I fetched the camera to take this photo. The new cladding looked like it was from a computer game.

I imagine the lighting at the time helped give this effect?

The noise did not sound again, and could find nothing untoward, so back to the recliner.

I think I fell asleep before I restarted the DVD.

Ah-well!

Russian: Четверг 3 января 2019

23:45hrs. I almost burst awake, instantly aware that I was in need of the Porcelain Throne, to relieve demands from both front and back. The panicky rising from the £300 second-hand recliner was more farcical the ever this morning.

WD 69.0.69 I found myself sort of sliding off of the recliner, banged the swollen knees on the Ottoman, ignored the pain and got up, tripped over a slipper and knocked over the mineral water bottle, and made my way as fast as possible to the wet room. It was as close as one could be, to being too late… but, I made it, (phew!) and the splashing and spraying commenced the moment my bottom hit the Throne seat, from both areas in need! Messy, remarkably slapdash and embarrassing, the mess I had to clean up afterwards!  I felt so unclean and decided that although it was so late, I had to get 4Thu03amyself under the shower.

I shaved and did the teggies, then got under the hot spraying water, and used the carbolic soap! Scrubbing brush and sponge were well-used, too!

The fluid retention didn’t look any worse than yesterday, then again, no better. Hehe! The left wrist where it had hardened the other day, now 4Thu02had a pretty pattern on it. I thought for a moment that it looked like a maggot with a nose and eyes at the far end? Hahaha!

WD 69.0.69 As I was drying myself off, I spotted several of the EIBWBBBs (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles) lurking about on the dry part of the wet room floor, near to the door! Three live ones and two dead carcases. I grabbed the Sanmex Bug Killer can, and it was empty! Out and to my ‘Repellent Armoury drawer’ to collect another can of killer spray… WD 69.0.69 Tripping over the same slipper again as I did so.

4Thu001 WD 69.0.69 On the way back to the wet room, I saw that I had left the flipping oven on all night. Again! I ran in and turned off the power to the stove.

I gave the wet room a good spray with the Sanmex, then did the hallway as well. I got myself dressed, and off to investigate if any damage had been done in the oven. All looked dirty and stained inside. Clobberwockers!

At least it was warm in the kitchen. Hehehe! I calmed down a bit then and pondered on why the Weevils had returned; then realised with all my self-pitying and dizzy-spells yesterday, I had not sprayed the bug killer anywhere at all. Klutz!

I tidied up a bit in the front room and got the slippers on.

Ah, the Asda (Walmart) delivery is due this morning twixt 06:00 > 07:00hrs. I know I had a delivery on Tuesday from them, but with my not daring to risk going out while I’m in the Furosemide, and the possibility of losing the bus service, I got some stuff in. But, of course, there is a delivery charge and minimum buy! So, this is not going to help me lower my ridiculously large stock of fodder in the cupboards.

I got the Health Checks done, with the sphygmomanometer working on the first try.

4Thu01

4Thu001aEven the new thermometer worked the first time and quickly for me!

The BP confused me a little. The sys was higher, but the Dia was lower (almost poetical that, Haha!). The temperature was the highest ever I think, but as Tim Price told me, this is no problem, as for some reason it has been too low for a long time now until I started using the new ear-hole thermometer.

Took the medications. And set about updating, finalising and posting off the Wednesday Woes diary to WordPress. Then made a start on this blog. Between a few close-call LHBLWWs (Long Hosepipe-Blasting like Wee-wees) One, which I was forced to take in the emergency bucket, to avoid a leaking torrent!

I got some chips in the oven to have with a mini-pork pie for breakfast.

4Thu06aI went on the WP reader and comments while I waited for the chips to cook.

Got the nosh served up, I can’t believe I’m eating breakfasts after so many years. But the fear installed in me, by Sister Janet and Scharführeress Nurse Ann demanding and commanding me to eat brekkies, soon broke my resistance! Hehehe! I think my telling her of the Furosemide problem, caused her to need a wee-wee herself. Haha! She had to shoot off, so only a few seconds of conversation, nice of her to ring.

4Thu06I had a look out of the unwanted kitchen windows, with the extra glass to clean that I cannot reach to clean, the light and view-blocking view and that I have to take photographs out of, blind because I have to hang out of the window to get over the ridiculously wide ledge… what was I saying?… Oh yes! I got the camera back inside and checked on the viewer whether the Asda delivery had arrived or not yet. It hadn’t.

WD 69.0.69 So, I got the computer on to update wicked Wednesday Inchcock Today.

4Thu07

I had my now seemingly regular second visit to the Porcelain Throne, a decent one this time, not too messy, and leaving the wet room as I heard my mobile ringing… Mobile? At this time in the morning? It was the Asda, delivery lady. She wanted me to go down to l4Thu05et her in. Had the communication which they usually contact me to be let in, panel broken down. With the landline not being connected, I could not press her in – so I went down to let her in?

WD 69.0.69 I took the walking stick with me cause of the legs. She got in, and I forgot to ask if she’d tried the phone in the foyer entrance. The poor think late a bit late, and it showed in her face an actions. To help her out, I suggested she just put the good in the lift with me, and she could get off then. She did! I went up in the elevator with the bags and loose bottles etc. and made a few trips from the lift doors to the flat door and got the stuff inside and put away. To make up the minimum order with me not being able to get out yet, I’d ordered things like spring water, kitchen towels and bleach that I did not need, but could use later. The freezer had to have little re-jiggling to get the mousse, chips, lamb burgers and iced orange suckers in. Tsk! I got an Asda (Walmart) store-baked Sourdough Baguette. When I picked it up from the bag and felt the weight and solid touch to it, I got a feeling I would not take to this cement and flour bread. Huh! I’ll just make a couple of turkey sarnies, some sauce of some sort, gherkins I have in to use, but I forgot to get any tomatoes.

Went on CorelDraw to do some TFZer Graphics, not done any for a while, all the weariness and falling asleep doesn’t help.

WD 69.0.69 No graphics not done yet, Sister Jane called, told me not to buy anything too much in, food-wise, it was a bad connection again, but she did point out that I had got her Birthday wrong still this year, as I did last year, you’d think that after 89 years, I could get it right. Hahaha! Sorry Jane, only joking! Oh, and I must do something else.. but while I was typing in the previous words, I forgot what it was! Oy Vey!

Tried to get some pictures made up again on CorelDraw. (Failed)

WD 69.0.69 Oh, dearie me, I’ll have to give up concentrating, Dizzy Dennis is back with a vengeance. Although the Furosemides (Long Hosepipe-Blasting like Wee-wees) are less frequent and I think, not so forceful. (Later, especially in the morning, boy did they start again!) Mind you, I have to take the Furosemide in an hour or so, I can expect the tsunami any time after that to begin again. Big mouth me! Just typed this in, and had to shoot off for another Furosemide imposed LHBLWW!

Been up for 14-hours now. The weariness is creeping in.

5fri001So drained again now, I made three sarnies of buttered Sourdough bread with pork loin.

WD 69.0.69 Tough would be the first word to describe my biting into the Asda (Walmart) Sourdough Baguette!

In fact, I loosened two teeth in the process!

As for the taste, cardboard!

I planned the viewing for the goggle-box. Two episodes of the A-Team, then a Police documentary, followed by a 40 stone life programme. I didn’t get half-way through the first A-Team before I nodded off. Tsk!

I hope for a better Furisemide… er… Friday. Hehehe!

Inchcock Today: Wed 2nd Jan 2019: Stuck indoors again. no natters or chinwags, Wee-weeing like a champion, Dizzies… normal sort of day for 2019, then! Hehe!

Wednesday 2nd January 2019

Welsh: Dydd Mercher 2 Ionawr 2019

22:15hrs. WD128.0.0 Shot awake after about four hours, and everything else, bar getting to the ‘Emergency LHBLWW (Long Hosepipe-Blasting like Wee-wee) Bucket!’ was put on hold.

As I struggled to contain the long-lasting blast and avoid the splashback, a picture came into my mind, that later I put to artwork, and used it for the Thought of the Day, above.  Haha!

After the torturous, hurricane-like evacuation, (No doubt about it, this Furosemide is taking effect now!) I washed the hands and checked the £300 second-hand recliner area that I had scrambled out of in such a panic. No indications of any Nocturnal nibbling having taken place. Smug-Mode Adopted!

Made a brew and got the computer on while it boiled (the kettle, not the computer).

WD128.0.0 A high-priority call to the Porcelain Throne was responded to immediately. A look around the wet room during the evacuation process revealed not a single EIBWBBB (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetle) Amazing! Almost as amazing as the scent I’d left behind me on my recent movements. Cor Blimey… Stinky-Phoo!

The Health Checks were completed, and medications, taken.

3Wed001

3Wed001aThe sphygmomanometer worked at the first try.

Having missed last night’s medications, Humph, Klutz! I took just two of the missed tablets, those I thought it would be safe enough to have with the morning ones.

I made yet another brew of tea! My thirst this morning is concerning, or instead why I keep drinking is bothering me. Maybe a side-effect of the Furosemide?

WD128.0.0 As I settled at the computer, I started sneezing, and the dizzies returned. As I absorbed this, I had to dash off for another LHBLWW. It was a good job I didn’t use the bucket,  because I passed enough fluid, in a jet-like fashion, to have filled it twice over! Oh dearie me, another flipping day stuck indoors, I dare not risk going out. If this lasts another day, I’ll ring the Doctor, or 111 to ask for advice. The Protection Pants are good at catching the blood from Harold’s Haemorrhoids and the Fungal Lesion. But I doubt they would contain the torrent of a full-blown LHBLWW, and if any bleeding were going on at the time, they would positively not cope. It’s a good job I anticipated something like this, and I placed an order from Asda for Thursday, no no worry about fodder anyway.

I was feeling the cold, despite the high temperature in the room. The fluid retention in the legs and ankles are far less acute, but the back-pain has returned. Dizzy Dennis is annoying me regularly. (Mind you, the note in the Furosemide box, did put these in their list of possible side-effects) Good gerrin’ owd, yer know!

I got the Tuesday Diary finished off and posted it. Went on the WordPress Reader, the then comment section.

WD128.0.0 During these actions, I made two mugs of tea, and took3Wed01a four LHBLWWs!

An acute pain developed in my left lower arm/wrist. No swelling, no bruising or discolourations, mind? But just above the wrist, there was some hardening?

2019? Worra Life! Hehe!

I will try to ring Sister Jane later, but she is not an early riser, so I shall not risk her ‘Wrath’ by calling too early.

Another LHBLWW, getting fed-up with this. It’s affecting the concentration, and I am making so many errors… No, maybe not, I’ve always done that. Hehehe!

3Wed05I went to sort some breakfast out, and watch YouTube clips, while I eat it.

Minted peas, few chips (Fries), chestnuts and a mini pork pie.

Another LHBLWW while making the breakfast. Fancy that!

3Wed05a1aI used the bucket twice without emptying and disinfectantising it. Two wee-wees and I could hardly lift the bucket, it was over half-full! I took a photo of the container to let you see how big it is.

Shame there is no value to urine, I could be rich selling it! Hahaha!

3Wed05a2Got the brekkie all eaten up.

WD128.0.0 The legs were inspected, to find they had blown-up again! And I think there was an extra pot-mark spot or two developed as well. Oy Vey!

At least Dizzy Dennis was not visiting so frequent now.

I went to make a brew of tea, the day had lightened up well now, a bit of sunshine behind the tree copse in the distance. Very pretty, so much so, I took a photographicalisation of the view to the left and right. In the right scene, the sun is coming from behind the flats, to give the panorama aspect of the picture effect.

3Wed05a1

I had another LHBLWW (Long Hosepipe-Blasting like Wee-wee), treated myself to one in the wet room this time. I think it was a little less volumatic, too.

Went on to CorelDraw to create some Inchcock Today draughts, no, drafts!

A lot of banging about from Herbert upstairs this morning?

After a further three and a half hours, I got the drafts all done! I’m well drained now but can report that while creating the posts, I only needed three LHBLWWs.

For some odd unknown to me reason, the left leg is much more fluid-filled than the right, and the left lower arm is more painful and stiff than the right one. Just thought I’d mention it, like.

Oh, and the surgery called while I was creating. They gave me the new Warfarin doses and initially gave me an appointment for the next blood test for, 14:30hrs next Monday. I begged for an earlier appointment, and she told me there was none available.  She is aware of my odd sleeping patterns, and I asked if there was one on Tuesday available. She had a look, and returned to me a few minutes later… she could fit me in at 0720hrs on Tuesday 8th, bless her. That should fit in with my City Hospital appointment and give me plenty of time to make the hobble to the clinic. I hope it isn’t raining or snowing then, I think someone told me on Monday, snow was due?

Got some nosh prepared, drained entirely now, but pleased the dizzies have stayed off.

Oh, I must take some Warfarin out of the pots I have already done, now the dosages have been reduced a bit.  I’ll do it now while I think of it.

3Wed29I had a lamb burger sandwich using bread thins. I also tired a new dessert style. A pot of Asda Walmart raspberry ripple mousse, and sprayed some of the Wriggly cream (the low-fat one, haha!) on top of it. By the time I got around to eating it, the Wriggly had dissolved, but by gum, it tasted so good!

Took the evening medications and got the Health Checks done.

There were so many programmes on the telly that interested me, including the A-Team. Farcical of course, I can’t believe I wasted my time writing down a schedule to watch…

Zzzz!
