00 May 12

03:45hrs: I stirred, again with the thoughts of how I am going to get the door to the balcony open. Then the mind moved morosely on, to thoughts of all the bother I am causing over the prescription volunteers to collect them from the chemist, for me. Then the toenails twinged without my moving my feet, and how can I get them cut, to over the thoughts. But not for long! The sudden and urgent need arrived, for a wee-wee! (Which seemed to set the trend for the day. Tsk!)

WD 0.50.0 I manipulated my way out of the £300, second-hand, rickety, none-working, c1968, recliner and caught my balance. (I did give out a silent ‘Argh! when I got my weight onto the poor overgrown toenails, Haha!) But this did not delay my wobbling-hobble in haste, to the wet room. But Dizzy Dennis pulled me up en route, and I needed a couple of stops, to keep my balance.

By the time I arrived the Porcelain Throne was also needed. The principal evacuation was again painful, but happily of short duration. The wee-wee was still taking place when the major evacuation had finished. An FFFONEE (Forceful-Furious-Fast-Orange-Never-Ending) variety. Steam emitted from the pan as I stood up? No idea which of the evacuations it came from, though. Hehehe!

I got the cleaning and medicationing of areas in need done, and off to the kitchen.

WD 0.50.02Tue01 I got the impression that I may have been doing some Nocturnal somnambulationing! As I took this shot going into the kitchen, so many things were not in their usual places, and the washed long-sleeved shirts, had been moved about on their hangers?

I scrapped together an assortment of tablets which I thought would not be too harmful to me, there are now no tablets left to pick from at all from the pod ones. The other bits I found in the drawer, were not identifiable, so I put them in the yellow bin. I must remember to ask the blood-nurse if she can take the box with her for proper disposal.

WD 0.50.0a I made a welcome mug of Glengettie Gold tea, and off to the computer. Dozzt Dennis had been lingering since I used the Throne, and he gave me momentary visit again. I caught my shoulder against the door frame and spilt some of the hot tea down my volumingargantuan-flabby stomach and down the right leg.

But, circumstances limited the pain from both the knock and the tea! You see, when the liquid hit the leg, by good fortune, it was the right leg, and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were not working, and did not send the message of the Accifauxpas to the brain. So, no pain! Silver-lining, you see?

WD 0.50.0 But, on the WDP01cnot-so-bright side, my left foot did hit the frame as well, and the message of agony in the toes was definitely sent! Arumsquatulistions, it hurt like hell! It did for hours! Humph!

I got on with updating the Monday blog and got it done it in record time. Thanks mainly, to Dizzy Dennis taking a break, and Nicodemus apparently affecting only the leg this morning, showing no interest in the right arm or hand. I’m not moaning about the confusion over this, just damned joyously glad about it!

Sent the email link off, and went on the WordPress reader section. Replied to the comments. And onto TFZer Facebooking for an hour or more.

I had a look at the Coronavirus figures for Nottinghamshire. Finding this comment from Public Health England:

2Tue09Figures have shown the total amount of people across the county who have tested positive for coronavirus. As of Monday, May 11, there are now 569 confirmed cases in the city boundary and 1,224 across the wider county. 2Tue08aIt comes after Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH), which runs Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital, confirmed two more coronavirus patients have died. Medical director Dr Keith Girling said the patients were aged 46 and 97.

I’m not sure if reducing the isolation yet, is a good idea. Remember the 1918 flu epidemic. But, it must be costing the country an absolute fortune?

I hand-washed a long-sleeve shirt and left it in the bowl in fabric softener. Then off to get the ablutions sorted.

WD 0.50.0 This didn’t go as well as the last two days, mind. The dropsies were far too many to mention, I don’t have enough bandwidth! Hehe! But the bleeding from Little Inchies fungal lesion was fresh, thus, much less painful and hassle to clean up and medicate. Harold’s Haemorrhoids were no leaking at all. The end dropsies got a bit farcical, Germolid and Germole tubes, olive oil bottle, body spray and fresher cans went as well. The deodorant pot, bit-the-dust three times! An2Tue07d to bring a smile to my face, I’ll mention that the sock-glide was not utilised again. I’m not looking forward to having to wear socks again!

Dizzy Dennis started of again, but not until the ablutionisationing was all done, and I was dressed. Kind of him! I then washed the bath towel and hung it to dry, with the long-sleeved t-shirt above the sink. I must remember to add some fabric softener to the Morrison order later on. But, will I remember to?

Then I made-up some wast2Tue02e bags and a recycling box, and got them in and on the three-wheeled walker, ready to take down to chute and bin. I used the box that the headphones came in for the recycling stuff to go in.

I’ve not been mentioning it, but the wee-weeing had continued so frequently (all of the FFFONEE (Forceful-Furious-Fast-Orange-Never-Ending) mode. The orangeness is a shred con2Tue03cerning. To save time; unless there is a change of circumstances or variety, I’ll try to avoid the urge of doing so.

I got the buggy out of the door into the flat’s lobby without too much difficulty. Apart from the pain from the toes, Grumph!

As I opened the lobby door, I was blinded by the sunshine coming through the lift-lobby window. I left the trolley holding the door open and tried my bestest to take a picture of the reflecting sunlight view. But, after trying two or four attempts at getting a shot looking anything like the naked eye saw it, this was the best I could come up with. Shame!

I got myself in a bit of a pickle trying to get the carrier-walker to go through the door, lost my balance a little, and ended up back further inside the flats lobby. Hahaha! If it wasn’t 2Tue04so painful, I could have laughed out loud at myself.

I hobbled along and getting into the waste-chute room was not a lot easier. But I did it carefully, without any Accifauxpas. You can see in this photo, just how small they have made the chute we have to use. This is because of 2Tue05some tenants squashing big load of stuff down, and blocking the shaft, repeatedly. They still do it, of course.

I got in the lift cage, and down to the ground floor with the box of recyclables for the caretaker’s room bin.

Stephen was there with another chap, and I was in my element. They could not stop me, although Stutteringly Stephany affected. I admit, chatting away, joking and smiling. By heck, I’ve missed the nattering, blathering, and small-talk, since the lock-down started. I tend to get a little excited when I get the opportunity for soliloquising, or kibitzing, nowadays. Even with the stuttering, I got a few laughs… although, perhaps it might have been because of my stuttering! Hahaha!

2Tue06Said my farewells, (I swear I could see relief come over their faces, Tsk!) and made my way back up in the elevator to the flat, a tad sad at leaving the human contact behind.

I’d not been in and back on the computer for long, and the landline flashed and rang forth.

It was the Vampire Nurse, come to take my blood. Vanessa, the new girl. While she took the blood, I mentioned the none-opening balcony door. Bless her, she had a go at it for me. But no luck. (No luck – that’s something that follows me everywhere lately!)

Another spell on the computer (Between wee-weeing) of about ten minutes and the landline rang and flashed.

It was Dr Vindla. The first time that she’d ever rung me! She wanted to know I was alright for food and prescriptions. I stuttering told her about the prescriptions having to be fetched be volunteers for me. Explained I was having food delivered online. I thought I’d mention the feet causing me some anguish with the leg ulcer returning and the long toenails, causing me to have a few falls recently (which is true). I was told it’s the same for everybody. I almost apologised for mention it. Still, it was nice to stutter to someone. I’ve done well nattering-wise today. Steve and Paul. Then Doctor. Things are looking up.

WD 0.50.0 Then back to the computing, loaded my Inchcock-made list of words to use, and found the Notepad page, was mysteriously, ‘Not Found’? I thought about crying. Instead, after trying to find out where it had gone, and failing to, I got on with creating another one from scratch. I spent hours and was not getting very far with it.

2Tue11Then the intercom sounded. It was volunteer helper Sarah, who had fetched my prescriptions for me. This is so kind and helpful. I got to open the door before she got up to the flat, and found a parcel laying there on the floor?

I moved the bubble wrap bag into the front room. Then got back to the door as the Lady Sarah arrived. She said who she was, and dropped the bag on the floor, and wished me good luck. I made a point of thanking her with Agusto. I didn’t know if she’s be offended if I offered a G & T in thanks. But she was off with more to delivery to others in a flash. Genuine Angel Mark Two today! Thank you, Sarah!

2Tue13l Got the bag of prescription into the kitchen. There was no Duodenal Donald medicine in it, but I had some, so this might be the month when they skip it, no fretting. I’m afraid they are using the blue & white pods again for the daily dose trays. Just like the last time. The tablets are sticking to the inside of the plastic, with the static electricity used to seal them. I’ll have to take proper care when getting them out, or else it will be like two months ago when the smaller tablets had got stuck underneath the top sheet and I couldn’t get at them without making a decoration of tablets on the kitchen floor.

2Tue12The Amazon parcel was the second reserve headphones I’d ordered. Nearly twice the cost of the ones I got yesterday. Apart from having a volume control on these ones, they are exactly the same! But I’m not complaining about the tablets or headphones at all. I just appreciate having the prescriptions delivered, by a caring helper. And the headphones will be all ready for the next time when I fall one, sit on, drop and break, or lose the current headset. Hahaha!

I got some potatoes mixed with cheese and got them in the oven to cook. I’ll finish on the computer in a while, and get the beef pasties in with the spuds and see how it all goes, the spuds I didn’t realise, were for microwaving only when I ordered them. Fingers crossed.

2Tue14Off to put the pasties in with the spuds now.

Fair nosh, 7/10 for flavour.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested in making imitation rubies, they could do worse than drain a jar of Asda whole beetroots and use them. Of course, you’ll need to find a way of softening the beetroots before you sell them.

Washed the pots, had a wee-wee and got down in the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, inoperable, recliner.

Amazingly, I was off in the land of nod, within a few minutes. No thought-storms to bother me. (I think they had worn themselves out during the day!)

WD 0.50.0 Woken up by the mobile ringing. They had rung off by the time I got to the phone. A Birmingham number 0120.

Getting back to sleep took ages…

WD 0.50.0 The landline then flashed and rang! Can’t blame folk who do not understand my enforced odd hours I keep. It depends on whether or not I slept all the previous night, I’ve had two sleepless nights last week. Whether it be Duodenal Donald, Anne Gyna, Peripheral Pete, Suddering Shoulder Shirley or whichever ailment stop me kipping, it’s always irritating and frustrating, trying to get caught up.

Half-asleep, it was Jenny ringing. She kindly told me that Lloyds Chemist, in Sherwood, still deliver prescriptions. (I read they are going to charge, but it’ll be worth it if its a reasonable cost) I’ll have to talk to the surgery to see if the Doctor Vindla can send them to Sherwood. Good of her to think of me. Bless her.

Now the Thought Storms began again. So drifting off again was a long time coming.

Be back in the morning to update, or, if I cannot get to sleep again, later tonight. Int life confusing? Hehehe!

Inchcockski – Saturday 9th May 2020: A sanity-testing day, I think I failed!

Saturday 9th May 2020

Zulu: NgoMgqibelo 9th Meyi 2020

00 May 09

GM 200.0.004:40hrs: I woke up to Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, giving me a right shaking, clouting my elbow on the arm of the chair at the same time. Even the more than ample midriff was wobbling along in unison with Shirley’s beat!

Cor-blimey, it took some time before she eased off as well. No wonder I woke in such a sudden-sharp, shuddery, jolting fashion.

But, at least it woke me up properly and got the brain, alertness and awareness working together. As soon as things subsided, I foolishly got up too quickly, to get to the wet room for a wee-wee.

WD 180.50.0 As I was pushing up the weight of my elephantine torso from the recliner, an extra little shudder from Shirley, had me crash back down into the chair. Hitting my nose of all things, as I twisted to put my arms out, on the edge of the seat’s arm, and missed it! Now that’s something different that I can’t remember having for years, a bleeding nose! (Although, at school, I remember getting given many of them)

WD 180.50.0 I got safely and Accifauxpa-free, into the wet room, dropped the PP’s and relieved myself. Another powerful session of the BOASSA (Blasting Out-and -Suddenly-Stopping-Abruptly) mode. But it was painless, that was a treat! As I was changing the PP’s, it came apparent that the legs were even more anaemic looking than yesterday morning.

6Sat04

However, for a nice change, Clopidogrel Clive’s lumps and blotches seem to me, to be taking a vacation. The Thrombophlebitis and spider and venous veins, (phlebitis),  and iliac veins, had died down, too! I feared I was suffering from oneirataxia, but, no, they really were hardly showing on the skin surface at all. Arthur Itis’s knees were far less mangled looking, but he was still supplying me with plenty of hurt and pain when I walked. I think, at that the moment the more painful and handicapping, was coming from the poor feet and overgrown toenailed toes. I’m not complaining about this, but I am just a tad confused.

Not that things were getting me down at all. I possessed an outlook of a phenomenal difference to yesterday. I was singing under my breath and nattering to myself constantly. Bonkers, but contented!

By the time I got around to taking a look at the nose, it had stopped bleeding completely and was barely painful at all. Other than giving me a mild headache of sorts. Hehehe! Another possible reason for my outlook of lightness was that Little Inchies fungal lesion was not bleeding. And this to another day stuck indoors, so another risk-free, none use of the Sock-Glide with its accompanying bruising and bleeding. I hope I can remember how to use it when the lock-in and lock-down stops. I haven’t been on a bus, or to a shop for months now. Hey-ho!

WD 180.50.0 Then a concerned came to mind. I have only two days of prescription medications left. Are Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl) going to let me down again with the delivery, and leave me without medications for weeks again? My earlier high-spirits came crashing down, and I began to sink into the darkness again! I wasn’t really ever meant to be, life is now too complicated for me. I limped, no singing now, to the kitchen. Checked the medications, yes, just two days worth left. They may arrive today? Globdangles!

Morosely and without much interest, I made a brew of Glengettie tea and digested the medications.

I got two small black bags of rubbish to the waste chute. Hobbling is no pleasure with the toes and feet in this condition! Then got on with updating last night’s diary. It took me a long time, but I got it finished just before the Iceland delivery two-hour period was about to start.

I went on Pinterest and WordPress Reader section. Then the TFZer, and Winwood Heights Community Group Facebook pages.

Jenny called me. She knew I liked Melton Mobray pork pies and asked if I wanted her and Franks, as they don’t eat them. I thanked her kind gesture. She said she’ll pop the down later, How kind! ♥

6Sat05As I was starting on today’s diary, the intercom buzzed and flashed. One’s Iceland delivery had arrived. I got them into the kitchen and unloaded them to check on any shortages or substitutions. But this time, it was a case of, ‘I don’t remember ordering all this bread?’

WD 180.50.0 For there was bag after bag of cobs on the Iceland order. Panini rolls, wholemeal baps, wholemeal thins, cheesy cobs, and crispy rolls! Was I under the impression I had ordered only the Panini rolls and bread thins? And, how or why I ordered battered fish, and more chips, greasy-dripping soaked ones, that I do not even like, is beyond me!

6Sat09

I imagine that I must have had a blank-spell while I was ordering them? Not that I would have been aware of it at the time. Tsk! Life is becoming a bigger challenge all the time!

I made a start on this blog. And after an hour or so, the doorbells chimed out the Dusty Springfield ♫ I only want to be with you ♫, tune. I fumbled to get some trousers and a shirt on. My heart and hopes raised to a ridiculously high level; I’d somehow convinced myself, that it would be the Prescriptions being delivered from Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl), and warmth and satisfaction grew as I hobbled to the front door.

WD 180.50.0 Nope! It was Josie; she had at last seen the bag of food left outside her door for her yesterday and didn’t know anything about it. She thought I’d left it for her. Bless her. I’m not the only one that gets blank spells. I explained what it was, but the gal had no idea what I was talking about, and ended up more confused, I think. I’ll have a word or two and put her mind at rest tomorrow.

But at the moment, I had to live with the disappointment of the ringing door, not being from Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl). I seem to be finding myself in highs and lows today.

It’s already afternoon here. The weariness is already dawning on me. Surely I cannot be asking too much for the prescriptions from Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl) not to be late, yet again?

I went on Facebook again. I’m not up to concentrating on graphicalising, in my current black mood over the uncertainty of the prescriptions.

WD 180.50.0A The doorbells chimed out again. I fumbled to get some trousers and a shirt on again. Got to the door, knocking over a pot of birdseed en route when I had a wobbly, that spilt out all over the floor! Someone had left me packets of Melton Pies and sausage rolls (Which I dare not eat) on the floor. So, I put the pork pies in the fridge with the others, I’ll never eat them all before the sell-by date, but it was a lovely thought from someone. Then I had to clean up the birdseed in the hallway.

It took me over two hours to clean up the birdseed. Made a right bigger mess, as I could not step over the grain ones, and crushed some. Having to start over again. No good hoovering, I tried. So, I had to use brush and dustpan; but kept getting interference from Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, Suddering Shirley and Shaking Shaun. I was dropping stuff as much as what I got to the bin!

I nearly called Jenny for some tips on using the Vanish Gold carpet cleaner. But when I eventually found the spray, the instructions seemed clear enough. So I gave it a go in the hall.

I backed my way along the hallway, spraying with foam, rubbing it in. I ended up stuck in the front room for two hours while it worked its magic. Then I have to hoover up.

I went of the updating of the diary. Every bone and joint hurting now, and Anne Gyna has started to kick-off. All this, because some kind person dropped of the pies for me. Hehehe! I’m seating like the devil now, too. But, can’t get out to have a wash until I’ve done the hoovering. Oh, I do hope it comes out alright.

WD 180.50.0 Pictorial Tale of frustrating farce, so far:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

On a proper downer now. Stuck in the front room for two hours, while the carpeting dries. Fingers crossed! Put the vacuum on charging. It was getting a little warm, so I decided to open the balcony door.

5Fri35aWD 180.50.0 Pickled-Walnuts and Clogumbobskitit! I could not unlock the balcony door! All that hassle to get it to lock on Friday, and now, more hassle to get it to open on Saturday night! I gave up in the end and just prayed there is not a fire, and I need to escape the flames and fumes.

I’m hoping it’ll be my own fault and I’ve just forgotten about how to operate the mechanism. Not that anyone can come to look at it for me (Lock-down etc.)

I got some nosh sorted out, and with being all uptight and bothered, I forgot to take a snap of it. I ate it all anyway. Albeit with a little unenthusiasm, and depressionalistic thoughts.

DSCN2649WD 180.50.0 I was too uptight and wound-up for sleep to come to me. The Thought-Storms went on the rampage in the grey-cells. I kept the TV on and was temporarily glad I did when I found that the Red Dwarf film was showing.

It’d been on last month, I recalled the disappointment of my falling asleep then watching it, and missing the end. There is no doubt, finding out about, and staying up so late to watch it, had improved my emotionally cluttered state of mind.

DSCN2650I perked-up a tad and went to make up another bottle of spring water and orange cordial. To guzzle, hopefully, while I was watching the film.

Heartbreakingly, I nodded-off again during aa set of commercials. And woke up as the theme tune played and the credits were rolling! Humph!

I was back in the blackness. I wondered if I will ever manage to see this film throughout? My enthusiasm for life drained. Take today;

  • The Accifauxpa getting up.
  • Let down again by Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl)!
  • Now out of medications again!
  • The legs indicating that maybe I had died. (So pale)
  • The masses of bread I’d apparently ordered!
  • The balcony door lock, either broken or beyond my capabilities to operate!
  • Falling asleep during the Red Dwarf film again!
  • The depressive Whoopsiedangleplop with the birdseed and the resulting mess and crippling, pain-giving job of cleaning it all up.
  • My mental and physical fall into the blackness of depression.
  • Memory lapses and blanks.
  • Sinking into the darkness.

I was a little worried and concerned about the medication shortage – Not too much though – But I was feeling defeated and rather low – From somewhere, determination did grow, and I miraculously started singing, I’ll give life another go! Hahaha!

Belatedly, I went to do the washing up. Billy Fury’s ‘Cross my heart’ was being sung, well, silently mouthed.

WD 180.50.0 No doubt about it, I was in a strange state of mind. A mixture of unbelievability, yet acceptance of my bad luck, and ailing health, wanting to give up altogether, and yet, being determined not to surrender to the blackness.

DSCN2648A most suitable view from the window was on view. In a way, I read of my state of mind in the sky. The ferocity of frustration. The dark depressive clouds. The loneliness. The hopes of light at the end of the tunnel. And the beauty of life! (Pull yourself together, Inchy!)

With some twisted illogical hopes, semi-logicality was restored, I returned to the recliner. And was with Sweet Morpheus within minutes, free of frustrations, worries and calm, for a few hours.

Highly acceptable!

Good morning, each.

GM2green05I’d amazingly fell asleep early last night, amazing! It didn’t last long, though.

WD 0.50.0 I woke with a rare and nervewracking, alarming, urgency, in desperate need of a wee-wee! Fumbled my way out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, uncomfortable, not-operational, tatty, dangerous, flea-bitten, rickety recliner. Caught my balance, grabbed the stick, and off to the wet room.

Considering how thin the legs have gone over the last 24hrs. I was caught out by the ferocity and length of the evacuation. I was almost drained and tired by the time it had finished. Where did that torrent come from? I hobbled to the kitchen and got the medications out.

4Thu01WD 0.50.0 This was when a possible cause for the flood came to mind. It is possible, with the medications being all mixed up and some got lost when I took the tumble and spilt the tablets and pills, on Monday. I may have taken Furesomide instead of either Codeine or a Beta-blockers? But, who knows. There is definitely no fluid retention in the pins, in fact, they are the thinnest they have ever been, for some unknown reason.

I did the earhole olive-oiling, Saccades eyes sprayed. Got the kettle on, and… flipping ‘eck, it was back to the wet room for another wee-wee!

WDP4WD 0.50.0 Another almost tiring, right uncomfortable LHLB (Long-Hosepipe-Like-Blasting) version. This time, with a lot of back-spraying. Which needed cleaning up, during which I caught the toes of the right foot against the metal seat support, I managed to avoid shouting out loud, but curses silently flowed from my lips, with the pain making me wince a bit! This flow came to an abrupt end. I washed the hands after cleaning up, and the bar of vegetable soap shot out of my grasp, hit the far right wall and fell downwards. I still haven’t found it yet. Tsk!

4Thu03WD 0.50.0 I started on the computer, and WordPress was refusing to save my work? I could not find out if it was WordPress or the Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet playing up again. Ah, I see the computer box lights flashing, and some are off altogether!

VirDown 0.30.0

It’s incredible how some people, go out of their way to make people loathe and hate them like Fries does! Swine!

WD 0.50.0 It’s still new in the day, too early to sign-in for the Icelands ‘At-Risk’ list to book an order. I hope that Mr Fries pathetic farce of an imitation internet supplying company are back on again before 09:00hrs. Not as it says, that it will guarantee a slot being available anyway.

Makes you sick, all mist and mirrors and lies!

WD 0.50.0 Off for yet another wee-wee. Little Inchies fungal lesion bleeding now! My life reminds me of a joke… this one:

Inchcock used to say that he was the unluckiest person he knew. He had never won anything or had anything good happen to him in his entire life. Until now.

Inchcock was clearing out his junk room when he came upon an old painting and a violin. Thinking they might be valuable, he took them to the auction house to be valued.

The appraiser said, “Inchcock, I’ve good news, and I have some bad news!”

“What’s the good news?” Inchcock asked.

“The good news is that you have a Stradivarius and a Picasso,” replied the appraiser.

“I can’t believe my luck!” cried Inchcock “Nothing like this ever happens to me!”

“Well I wouldn’t get ahead of yourself Inchcock” continued the appraiser, “Because the bad news is that Stradivarius was a terrible painter and Picasso was no good with violins!”

 ————————————————

I got some photographs of the moon taken while I was non compos mentiss over the internet. I was so pleased with the results. (which, of course, do not show the thirteen failed shots I made, Tsk!)

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

4Thu03aWell, I’m up as gum-tree now! I went and got the veg prepped and into the crock-pot.

I had a very mild Dizzy Dennis visit, which didn’t long. But got Shaking Shaun attending me afterwards, and that is something new. Still, okay, now.

4Thu02Then, off for another wee-wee. Things were less powerful this time, and not so much released either. The fungal lesion was not bleeding, that was something at least! Is my ill-fortune changing?

The plates (feet) and toes were still giving me some bother and stinging. Considering that I have done so little walking (well, hobbling about), I was surprised about this. And boy, were they pale!

Hello, the internet’s has come back on. (For heaven’s sake, don’t tell Mr Fries!)

At long last, I got started on the updating of the Tuesday diary. As I achieved success and got it finished, one more trip to the wet room was needed. This time, still a forceful effort, but much shorter. It makes me wonder where it is all coming from?

Made a brew, and got on with Pinteresting a few snaps. Then on WordPress reading. Next, Facebooking for a few hours. Added to the picture galleries.

4Thu11Off for, unbelievably, another wee-wee.

The knees and pins (legs) were looking far less Clopidogrelled.

A little more colour in them as well.

I went on to CorelDraw to make up some graphics for later use.

Jenny kindly rang me to ask if I was alri4Thu12ght for bread and milk, which I am. I thanked her for thinking of me.

I checked the Google calendar for tomorrow: Yee-ha! Only one item on for Friday 8th May, Great! (That is I hope so, there may be something I’ve missed off?) It has been known before.

I turned off the computer, and pondered a moment or two, on what to have for nosh tonight. After a while, I realised I was not hungry at all, really.

So I decided to just have some nibbles of some sort, later on.

It’d been a long time since I’d had a wee-wee but found the urge coming on once more and with a sense of urgency this time! It was a painful trip to the wet room, and I made it JIT (Just-in-time) with no by the narrowest of margins.

4Thu10aThe evacuation was of the BOBSL (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived) variety for a change. Changed the PP’s in case any leakages in my rush had gone unnoticed.

I saw that the tiny hotel-room type freebie tablet of vegetable soap was holding up well after several uses. I like the lather it gives off.

Freshened up, and found myself feeling in an anomalistic frame of mind. The EQ warned me of more hassle to come! I did not feel poorly or even under the weather, but a vagueness lingered, and unexplainable sense, like: It’s coming and will have to be coped with? Confused? So am I! Tsk!

I gathered some nibbles and a bottle of orange juice around me and got down to watch TV. But watching what was on, I lost all interest. So, I went on a radio channel and listened to a documentary. I stayed awake all the way through the hour-long programme, and during it, ate a banana, orange, some cashew nuts and a fair few Mini-cheddar biscuits.

With so little sleep last night, I’d hoped to catch-up on it a bit. So, earlier than normal, I took out the hearing aids and removed the glasses. Pulled the woolly hat over my eyes, and within a few minutes, I’d nodded-off! Great!

Then the farce began…

WDP 4LWD 0.50.0 I was woken up a few minutes later, with clumping noises coming from somewhere I could not identify. They stopped quickly. Of course, this meant I had to get out of the c1968 recliner, to have a look around in case something had fell over somewhere in the flat. But I found nothing untoward. Back down in the chair. And surprised myself with how quickly I drifted off again.

WDP 4GLWD 0.50.0 The mobile phone flashed and burst into life. Huh! I struggled free of the £300, second-hand, rickety recliner, caught my balance, and as I got to the mobile, it stopped ringing! Harrumph! Back to the recliner, took the mobile with me in case, grumped and groaned silently to myself and back to sleep!

WDP 03LWD 0.50.0 An hour or so later, the landline rang out and flashed! I could have cried! On my feet once more, and stubbed my toe on the swivel chair leg, going to phone. Which delayed me, and the ringing ceased! What the hell is happening here? Ghosts? Aliens? I settled back down, but it took me an aeon to get back to sleep. The Thought-Storms started, I could stop them, on and on at me they flowed. I don’t know why; they were mostly nonsense, imaginary fears and worries, but twisted enough to keep me awake.

WDP 02LRdWD 0.50.0 Then, another call for a wee-wee. I threw caution to the wind in my haste, and rolled out of the chair, grabbed the stick and was hobbling to the wet room, in record time. Yes, it was another urgent one! I didn’t make it in time! Embarrassment-Mode-Engaged! Surely, these must be Furesomide induced wee-wees? I had a wash and change of PP’s, and I must have looked (because I was), stupified as I returned to the rickety recliner. My heart was racing, Anne Gyna, the toes, and Duodenal Donald were all having a go at me now!

When I first got settled a few hours ago, I was feeling better than I had done for ages. Now it was a damaged, injured, mentally insecure, wreck, of an old man who got back into his ancient, non-working recliner. I tried to resist the brain’s workings again, and eventually drifted off, into the comforting embrace of Sweet Morpheus! I think I was dreaming about a young lady from many years ago…

WDP01bWD 0.50.0 Later on, Globdangerations & Grumpworthiness! The mobile phone flashed and rang out! I reached out onto the Ottoman, grabbed the phone (It may have got wet from the tears falling – only joking!), it was Sister Jane, I’d now got not only Shaun, Donald, Anne and Reflux Roger bothering me, but Stuttering Stephanie joined in! I was only half-aware of what was happening and struggling to get my words out like never before. Jane said for me to watch BBC 1, great news! I’m not certain what else was said.

WDP 2aWD 0.50.0 Argh! Another wee-wee needed! I fought my way out of the rickety recliner yet again, not so urgent this time. But having been caught-out earlier, I was taking no chances, and I got to the WC in good time. The evacuation was the same as the previous two. The problem was that Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding! So, I had to do a cleaning up, medicating session and change the PPs again!

I’ve already been up for over 20 hours. But could I get to sleep again? No!

I’m not sure which Aliens, Ghosts, Goblins or God I’ve upset, enough to be denied rest and sleep like this – but I apologise! Beg for forgiveness, and sleep! That might do the trick?

I gave up and got up. Updated this blog, between wee-wees and Duodenal Donald’s and Anne Gyna’s stabbings, in a mood of acceptance.

I got caught as far as here and went to make a brew. When looking out of the window, I spotted a fire of some sort way in the distance. So took some photos of the scene, and one well zoomed-in one of the fire-smoke in the far distance.

4Thu17

I thought I’d finish this blog and get it posted off, cause with the picnic in the pod tomorrow, and the state I’ll be in with no sleep, Humph!

GM blu0104:25hrs: I woke, with the tummy rumbling, and some wind fluttering from the rear-end. This was different! Aha, the Porcelain Throne needed. Maybe this time, I can actually move something, if the Macrogol has done its thing, I thought. Action needed.

3Wed01I glanced at the pins (legs) before attempting to move, it seemed the left one had put on some fluid or weight, the right one had lost weight. I know this happening is regular, but today it seemed a more marked difference. Hey-ho!

I rose from the £300, second-hand, c1968, sickeningly beige-coloured, none-working, rickety recliner, with such ease, not known for a long time. Kept my balance as well! Oh, Yes!

WDP 4RightThe toes and feet were just as bad though. But during the short hobble to the wet room, I recognised that many ailments were on strike this morning. Hehe! Saccades-Sandra, Duodenal Donald and Reflux Roger pains were none existent! Anne Gyna, Shaking Shaun and Arthur Itis were hardly giving any hassle at all! Nicodemus’s neurotransmitters were going off and on at will. Shoulder-Shuddering-Shirley as having the odd jerk. It’s just as well, the toes and feet were bad enough on their own.

Things were very pleasing in the ailments department, but experience prevented me from adopting a smug-mode, just a slight inkling of semi-hope instead. Haha!

3Wed02WD 0.0.128 3 I got down on the disabled raised Porcelain Throne and instant action! For a second or two, then I hit a half-in/half-out, no-go period. Which was not wasted, I got on the crossword book and got a few solutions done, and the ‘flow’ began again. The pain was alarming, but it did it all of its own accord, no effort needed from yours truly at whatever. All I had to do was bear the pain. It’s alife innit, gerrin’ old! But once again, things could have been a lot worse. Harold’s Haemorrhoids and Little Inches fungal lesion had both only produced a few specks of blood! I moved my slight inkling of semi-hope, up to a Semi-Contented-Status. I still felt that things were going too well, and a distant, nebulous, concern lingered in my mind.

3Wed03Off to the kitchen, took the medications as best I could. The medicine avalanche and tumble yesterday has left me guessing at what tablets are what, from the selection, I’d retrieved from the floor.

3Wed04Then I made a mug of the Glengettie Gold tea.

I decided to get the mushrooms in the slow-cooker on a low heat setting, ready for later. I added sea salt, Hickory and Soy sauce to flavour it a bit. I fetched the Nikon camera and took these photos.

This was the first time that Colin Cramps gave me any bother this morning, and he was in a bad mood. It had to happen, things seemed to be slowly getting back to normal now. Hahaha! Whoopsies and Accifauxpas Readiness Mode engaged!

I got the black bags made up and got them on the trolley-walker in the hallway, to be taken to the waste-chute when time allowed.

WD 0.0.128 3 I returned to the main junk-room and got the computer on. First thing, I downloaded the photos;

  • WD 0.0.128 3 The I-drive was not recognised!
  • WD 0.0.128 3 So, I tried the E-drive and that worked (Phew!)
  • WD 0.0.128 3 Then the CorelDraw keyboard selections did not work!
  • I turned everything off, and back on, and now okay!
  • WD 0.0.128 3 Then when I loaded WordPress, it told me there was no comments or views for this month! I pressed F5 (Reload) WDP 003land it came on. Having some bother now, ain’t I?
  • WD 0.0.128 3 I removed the SD disc and noticed I’d not got the lens cap for the Nikon on.
  • WD 0.0.128 3 Despite a frustrating 20-minute fart-around searching, I could not find it. And knew it had to be in the wet room, hallway or kitchen, so concentrated my failed search in these areas. Had to give up, and try not to think about it, and get on with the blogging!

WD 0.0.128 3 No signs of it, I think I’ve worn out the carpet withWDP 20193b my dragged feet and the four-pronged walking stick, searching to no avail. Grrr!

Probably because my losing the lens cap and my getting all fussed, flummoxed and frustrated, it was hard to concentrate of the updating of yesterdays diary. But I persevered, with the damned annoyingly loud ‘Hum’ that was weeing me off more than usual! Not much noise from Herbert this morning.

I got it finished, and I sent off the link via email. Put some shots on Pinterest. Then went on the WordPress reader for a good while. Went through the comments, it didn’t take long, there was only one. Humph! Then on to Facebooking.

I then made a start on calling … No, I didn’t! Sister Jane phoned me. As she started talking, the door chime rang out. I asked Jane to ring back later and off I went to investigate. I got to the door and found a box of freebie food from the Government. Obviously, my cancelling it didn’t work yesterday. I might have been too late in doing it. I hope they do not send any more. I got the things in a few at a time, the box was too heavy to carry in. I put the stuff away and sorted things out a bit.

2Tue15I got carried away clearing up and made another couple of boxes to go to the waste chute. I got them dropped down, and a feeling of expectancy of something different about to happen on my way back, not necessarily a good thing either is on its way, came over me. Someone or thing had walked over my grave!

WD 0.0.128 3 I got into the wet room, for a wash and freshen up, not the full ablution session. I’d changed the hearing aid batteries and was clearing out the ear wax, and the landline rang out. Whoops, I’d forgotten about Jane ringing back!

Within minutes of nattering and making notes of the things Jane told me I was doing wrong or not doing, that I should be. (Hehehe!)

3Wed05Boy, the legs were cold (not wearing trousers does that to you, sometimes). Yet the sunshine outside was strong. Jane said she went out earlier and it was nippy. I suddenly got the feeling that I had left the tap running in the wet room, panicked, muttered something like ‘Argh! back in a bit’, and shot off to infestigate, well investigate I should have said. All was okay in the wet room, and I returned quickly and explained my ignorant behaviour. It was hard to hear what Jane was saying, a very echoey line, and she was talking rather fast.

WD 0.0.128 3 Then Reflux Roger and Stuttering Stephanie started off! Making hearing, well, understanding what was said even harder. I think Jane got a bit frustrated with me, understandably. I plan to ring her back later when Stephanie and Roger ease off. It must be difficult for folks trying to have a conversation on the phone with me. It is for me, too.

My previously fair mood changed to a lower level. I made a mug of Thompsons Punjana tea.

WD 0.0.128 3 When I returned for the umpteenth time to the computer, I found the missing lens cap, under the recliner! What a klutz!

I feel down again now, and my self-esteem dwindled again. Hello, Herbert’s clunking about again doing his models! At least I know he’s not ill.

3Wed06I pressed on with this blog for a few hours.

Then went on Nottingham City site’s latest Coronovavirus figures. There are now 541 confirmed cases in Nottingham. Locally, East Midlands we are still the second-highest City for deaths and confirmed cases. And, of course, we don’t know if these numbers are only for people who are in, or died in the hospitals or not.

I made another mug of tea, the last one I let go cold. Tsk!

WD 0.0.128 3 As I was making the brew, that sickly wet warm feeling from the lower regions was felt. Oh, dearie me, and Repulsive-Globberatons! So, back to the wet room to clean up the Fungal Lesion. Not one of the least painful or looked forward to jobs. But, it had to be done. I winced, and gave out the odd ‘Oooh!’ and ‘Argh’! But it was done. The PPs changed. And the medication applied. ‘Earargagagwumph!’

I did a super-hand wash afterwards. Ears olive-oiled. A clean-up, I used the freebie vegetable soap for the first time. It suds-up well, not any smell with it. Unless the imagined smell of cauliflower I sensed, was real? It lasted well. Hehehe!

3Wed11

3Wed10aIt brought out the wrinkles a bit, mind. Haha!

I used the new toilet roll delivered today, to erm… dry things off with. Did you notice how narrow it was? Still, better than nothing, I’ll be happy to use it for its intended use. I’ll just have to be careful when I use it. Oh, yes!

I rang Jane back, to see how she and Peter were going. I discovered I should not be eating mushroom pate, Jane is having Steak and Kidney pie, Peter is in the Garden reshaping a tree stump, and it’s cold outside. Hahaha!

3Wed24I got on with sorting the meal. Ended up with a delightful plate of, Mushroom pate (Sorry Jane). sweet potato fritters (Excellent!). Halloumi sticks (Not bad), mushrooms (seasoned with hickory, soya and sea salt). Pickled Gherkins, a mix of sour Morrocan, and sweet Netherlands tomatoes. One of the freebie red apples from Serbia. One super-tasty sourdough muffin with Marmite, and a pot of lemon mousse. having to use the Ski first, as they have a later date than the Tesco ones that Jenny got for me. All in all, a Flavour-Rating of 8/10, had it not been for the Moroccan tomatoes and the powdery apple, this might have been the highest-rated meal this year.

Got the pots in the bowl to soak. Down in the dangerous, c1968, rickety recliner, and got the TV on.

3Wed21WDPH01LI found a 1962 film about to start, on channel 81 Freeview. ‘Crooks Anonymous’, starring Leslie Phillips, Stanley Baxter & Wilfrid Hyde-White, James Robertson Justice, Dick Emery, Julie Christie, and Norman Rossington. It was badly acted, terrible script, black and white… and I loved it. Pure nostalgia! I wallowed in it! Several views bringing back memories of things I was doing, back when I was alive. And not a single nodding-off! (Although it was a close call a few times. Hehe!) Within minutes of it finishing, I was deep in the past, recalling names of people, and incidents, I thought I’d forgotten.

I don’t seem to remember owt after that. So, I must have nodded off proper, for I woke up four hours later, feeling as bright as a button. (I must look up where that phrase came from). And got up for a wee-wee!

GM05 creamWD 0.0.255 03:55hrs: I been up for about three hours by this time, thanks to sleep not being interested in joining me. Pottering about half-heartedly, I pretended to sort-out the fridge, concentrated on it for a full five minutes. Then toyed at doing the washing up.

And what a ‘Mistake to make that turned out to be. I was depressed, or repressed, or both, overtired and so irritable with myself.

WD 0.0.255 So it did me no good at all when I dropped the step ladder. Thanks to Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failure. The bottom of the aluminium leg made contact with my left knee! Crrrrickey, that hurt!

WDP 1LcbWD 0.0.255 But worse still, as I bent to retrieve the steps, my bottom hit the stack of plastic drawers near the door, pushing me forwards onto the floor, and I got virtually showered with a right load of medical stuff that fell off of the top drawer! A dropper of olive-oil had broken. The light in weight, enoxaparin filled hypos didn’t fall off at all. Int life confusing?

As I collected up the medicines, my irritability level grew to a hyperirritability level when I realised the blister-pack had split! It took me hours to find the spread-all-over tablets and capsule. Well, I didn’t find them all. I could not identify the difference between the Codeine 30g, the Furesomide and the Beta-blockers, they all look the same to me. Some of the Ramipril 40g capsules split open when I accidentally trod on them. (They do that, I’ve noticed before!) The Atorvastatin 80g, which I have to take whole, and struggle at times with them, were all found. Tsk! Some of the Lansoprazole capsules were never seen again? I’d squashed a tube of Germoloid, that was fun cleaning up.

So, I’d gone from a frustrated, miserable, self-hating, loathing-of-life person, into a mental wreck in a matter of minutes! (But this was not to last very long, at all!) More time lost trying to assess what was what. I gave up in the end, sod-it!

2Tue25I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea. And found that I had calmed down, and gone into ‘Accepting-Mode’? Even as I stood there, amid the medical mayhem, mess; There was no guilt, no feeling sorry for myself, or sulking! I think that with Nicodemus playing up, the full message of the pain had not got through to the brain? Oh, course I could be wrong.

I got the stepladders back assemble, up at 2Tue01the window, and took a photo of the morning moon. As I stood there with the window open, I found myself off on a Thought-Storm again. Not a  particularly bad one, mind. More, strongly musing, and casting away the worrying thoughts, and holding onto the better ones. This is not like m2Tue03e, especially after my altercations?

Got the computer booted, and made a quick Thoughts ode to use later. I noticed the brightness coming through the curtains and thought it might be another rainbow, so I got the camera and went to the kitchen window. Wonderful view! Made another brew, of Glengettie tea. Then answered two WordPress comments. Got on with the updating of the Monday post. But the Morrison order arrived and had to be dealt with and sorted out. So I did! The delivery chap came up and left the bags outside. I pointed out the can pf G&T for him, well, his wife, she loves them.

2Tue11

I 2Tue27got the large order in a bag or two at a time, and into the kitchen. Despite the horrendous start to the day, I was feeling good. As I packed away the goods, I realised there had been a lot of substituting and items not delivered.

Shame about crap chicken & mushroom substitute pot noodles, cause the sticky rib one I ordered, is the only one I like, more giving or throwing stuff away! Tsk!

2Tue12I hope their smokey bacon is better tasting than the watery Iceland label rubbish. But I fear the look identical. A high-note, the yhad sent some of the delicious sweet potato Fritters, and I tried a pack of Hovis sourdough muffins. The bananas were a tad green, but not to fret. I got the fridge stuff put away first.

2Tue13It was hard work making the room to get it in, I’d ordered a fair bit. Initially, I was tickled pink when I saw they had some Cox’s apples in stock and ordered a pack. Grobblecluckinghell! Every apple was either bruised, pot-marked or had a wormhole in them! I’m sorry I gave the bloke a can of plonk now! Humph!

2Tue14I found a packet of two frozen Louisiana Chick’n Burgers? I did not recall ordering these, but they’d charged me, so I must have. On closer inspection, it claimes Amazing Chicken Taste, but I could not see any meat in the ingredient list? I’ve never been less interested in any product in my life! Vegetarian or Vegan? Not for me! I dished it in the waste bag, which made just enough room to get the other stuff into the freezer, Haha!

2Tue02The job was done, and another brew made, I might get to drink this one.

The moon looked like it had a red ring around it, so I fetched the camera and took this effort as the day began to break. Not very good, but it shows the ring up?

I began to work on the updating again, and the door chimes rang out there, ♫ I only want to be with you, ♫ tune. I investigated, and it must have been Jenny or Frank, who had dropped off the bleach and Lemon mousse for me. Jen had ordered some for me on her Asda order, she is good to me. ♥

2Tue08aI got the ablutions tended to. I could hardly believe hoe the body had changed so quickly. The arms and legs had positively shrunk! But the already overbearing stomach was much bigger? The toenails keep getting longer and more painful. Anyroad, the session was another good one. Only two little nicks shaving. I did cut the gums a fair few times when I was doing the teeth, but that was all down to Shuddering Shoulder Shirley. Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding, but I’ve had it a lot worse this. Harold’s Haemorrhoids were only trickling blood. All in all, a surprisingly decent session!

2Tue21Some more updating (will I ever get it done?) I took a snap of the shadowy bottom field. Funny how the Nikon seems much better at taking this sort of shot in auto mode. The Panasonic is not so good.

I tried for an evacuation on the Porcelain Throne. Failed again. Tsk!

Herbert upstairs is busy, dril2Tue16ling away, I wonder what he’s making today.

Then, the Iceland delivery man arrived. Not such a big order, and even less with the out of stock various loaves and things.

Huh! I’ve just cancelled the weekly bread and 2Tue28milk stuff from the Government, and now they have no bread delivered from Iceland! Just look at the list of have-nots-in-stock! It’s a grand job that Jenny is doing for me. I shouldn’t have to worry about desserts until the next Morrison delivery arrives in three weeks, though. I’ll try to get some bread from the mobile shop on Friday, I’ve enough until then. I’ve put the sourdough muffins in individual bags in the freezer, having one tonight perhaps, I’ve left that one out in the 2Tue23kitchen.

I got the updating done at last. Just one of those days, interruptions and Whoopsiedanhleplops galore! Went on the Pinterest, then the WordPress reader. Then Facebooking. It suddenly dawned on me, the ‘Hum’ doesn’t sound as loud as usual today. I wish it was 2Tue22always like this. Went out on the balcony to take a shot of the wonderful clouds. I like this one.

Those amazing cloud formations!

WD 0.0.255A I made another brew and started on this post. I noticed when I used the rather poor quality 2Tue25snap, I must have caught my forefinger in the farcical furore earlier with the steps and medicine avalanche. Hehehe! Hey-ho! I’m glad I didn’t lose it when I took the tumble.

All fine now, anyway. Just curious to know hat Herbert is clanging, banging and drilling away making. It must be a big model, whatever it is. Herbert might be in lockdown, giving him more time to make his models. Good for him, if this is so.

2Tue24I had a quick search for the latest Coronavirus figures available, Nottingham and local East Midlands cities, and the UK.

It seems that Nottingham City was having things a little better than those around nearby lately?

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are the worst hit.

I’m getting drained mentally now. Poor old twit! I went to arrange and get the nosh sorted out.

2Tue34Sokowlo pork hot dogs, fries, cheese discs, a mix of cherry tomatoes; the foul, bitter-tasting Moroccan ones from Iceland, and the Netherlands ultra-tasty sweet ones from Morrisons. Chestnut mushrooms, a well-bruised Morrison’s Cox’s apple, a lemon mousse dessert (having to eat the Ski mousse first, as they are shorter-dated than the Asda ones that Jenny got for me) The sourdough muffin, I’d Marmited, and they went down extremely well! I used one of the individual Marmite pots I bought from Amazon, tasty, and just enough! Flavour rating: 8/10!

WDP 12bGot the washing up done, and as expected, sleep was not forthcoming easily. Much hogwash half-watched on the TV. No nodding off and waking again tonight, though. Looking back, when I did nod off, very late in the evening, at least I slept right through for, wait for it… six-hours! Great!

GM2turq03 WD 150.0.100 01:25hrs: The much-hated all-around ‘Hum’ noise sounded for forceful than ever, as I was abruptly roused into a simulated form of life. Then, I so many things became noticeable by their strangeness and unusuality. And Confusion Conrad took over my thought processing for a short while, well, a fair bit of time actually! Which in my responses to, caused me a few injuries, but at least woke me up entirely. Hehehe! (Not funny at the time, mind!)

WD 150.0.100 I felt the chilly draft coming in through the wide-open balcony door. What?

WD 150.0.100 As I moved to get my lumbering wobbly-body out of the recliner to shut the doors, I realised I had all sorts of weird and wonderful things all over and around me! Pairs of washed socks, a bath towel, a bottle of mineral water, and packets of instant mashed potatoes and other stuff?

WD 150.0.100 Throwing the things off of my body to get to close the door quickly, I knocked many things off of the Ottoman.

wd 150.0.100A And stubbed the end of my foot against the metal swivel chair leg. The pain from the overgrown toenails was excruciating!

WD 150.0.100 wd 150.0.100AI got to the sliding doors, and hurriedly closed it. Trapping my right thumb! Argh!

I turned around, and the room looked like it had just been bombed! What the hell had happened? I could only think of one explanation. Nocturnal Phantasma Wanderings, yes, sleepwalking. It had to be somnambulism of some kind, indeed. I recalled yesterday’s moments of being temporarily out-of-it, was this a follow on?

As the scene was identified and the realisation that I was not dreaming sank in, then I started to panic. “What other acts of silliness had I unconsciously done in the rest of the flat?” I was about to set off to investigate, and the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived suddenly and urgently (I thought). So off to the wet room, which looked like I’d left it last night, thankfully.

WD 150.0.100 But Constipation Konrad ensured nothing was evacuated this time. Rock Solid! I did manage a weak dribbling wee-wee, though. You watch, in a few hours, I bet things change again, and Trotsky Terence gets the upper-hand. Tsk!

A quick clean up and I nervously started my search for any damage from my (assumed), noctambulations, in the kitchen.

1Mon001WD 150.0.100 I found that I’d washed a shirt and left it soaking in the bowl in the sink? The place looked like a right mess and unkempt, but this is normal. Humph! I got the shirt rinsed, fabric softened, all done, wrung and hung.

The mystery of why and how the socks were found already hanging on the rail, was not of interest to me at this time. The mind can only cope with so much.

1Mon01I got the kettle on the boil, got a mug prepped with a Thompson Punjana tea bag, and tool a photographicalisation of the morning sky, with the moon partially covered with clouds. I can use this snap later as a background for a thought’s graphic. The mind kept jumping from one thing to another topic, always.

1Mon02wd 150.0.100A As I got the milk from the depths of the refrigerator, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down, and the jug slipped from my grasp. I was impressed with myself, how I managed not to drop the pottery! Then cleaned up the milk form my naked stomach, jammy bottoms and off of the floor. Made the brew, took the medications, olive-oiled the eardrums, sprayed Saccades eyes, and made up a black waste bag.

It has been a hectic morning so far. Whoopsies, Accifauxpas, frustrations and confusion. An everyday start, really for me. I do hope that the NHS R4Vad people look seriously into the questionnaire results, on Vascula Dementia, cause I’m beginning to fret a bit over my recent mind-fumblings.

Got on the computer, faffled about on different things, no concentration this morning now. I found an email from Jenny. She has got the lemon bleach for me. Also, she’d bought some lemon mousse which she knows I’ve been struggling to find, bless her, how kind. I got the money and wrapped it in a bag, put the plonk and bits I’ve got for her and Frank, and into a carrier bag. Put it near the door to remind me, when Jen rings to let me know she’s coming,

I’ll put it outside for her to collect as we swap bags. Lovely! ♥

This reminded me about cancelling the Government food parcel, so I got the address off of the letter and went on to the Government site to follow the instructions and change things. It said to reregister and click ‘Yes’ on “Do you have a way of getting essential supplies delivered” Will stop the supply. So I did.

1Mon05b

I was pleased with the ease of getting it done. Smug-Mode-Utilised! Haha!

Both camera batteries were showing low, so I got them on charging. I got on and updated the gloomy Sunday diary. Nicodemus was acting kind towards me, but Duodenal Donald and Toothache Tim were beginning to bother me. Can’t win them all!

Went onto Pinterest, then WordPress Reader and comments, well, comment.

0530hrs: I went on another Porcelain throne visit, but that was a failure too! Things felt Rock-Solid in there. Oh, dearie me! So, I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea.

1Mon04a

What a surprise when I saw the fog!

I made a start on this blog; then I had to go on CorelDraw to catch up with the graphicalising.

1Mon06The doorbells chimed out, it was Jenny, who’d left the bleach and lemon Mousse in a bag for me outside the door. She hadn’t warned me she was on the way, so I hadn’t put the payment, wine and nibbles out for her to collect. I called her on the phone and thought I’d be able to ask her my phone number which I forgot and lost the book with the list in. Klump! She was busy, so I didn’t ask her with asking, just thanked her, and she said no hurry. Wonderful woman!

I carried on with the CorelDrawing.

Five hours later, (12:30hrs) Humph!, I phoned ILC, Obersturmführeresses and Catwalk Model Warden Deana. I had to bother her, to get Caretaker Robert’s telephone number, that was lost with the notepad of numbers. Tsk! She didn’t give it to me but kindly asked what I wanted him for, and she passed on the message, asking him if he could call to collect some bags I could not carry to the waste chute. Walking is currently the at it most painful, with the toenails etc.

The blood nurse is not coming until the 12th; I will beg her then to phone the clinic for me to see if anything can be done to assist me in getting the nails cut.

I started to make a template in advance, on WordPress and CorelDraw.

Late now, I should be getting the meal prepared cheesy potatoes and, erm, er, maybe, perhaps. I’ll have a look at what’s available int fridge and freezer.

WD 150.0.100 Ah, that changes the plan! The Leicester grated cheese, with a use-by-date of 27th May printed on it, has gone mouldy! So, agravannoying!

13:40hrs: Hello, the innards are telling me I need to use the Porcelain Throne again. But I dare not, in case the caretaker calls. Oh, dear!

Ah, well, another think on the fodder finding for my food. I have some halloumi cheese sticks, a packet of BBQ skewers, and I can have them with some frozen peas, methinks. Mind you, I’m not hungry, really, now. I was tired, yes.

I’ll have a go on Facebooking, while I wait for Robert to arrive. No, No, I won’t! I’ll see if I can get an order in for Morrisons, I could get an order without waiting for three weeks this time. I’ll give it a try!

WD 150.0.100 Got all confused, the delivery pass was not accepting my card, the same one I pay for the Groceries with! After much kerfuffle, I gave up. But, I still got an order in, for three weeks. Original order is coming tomorrow morning, and Iceland later. At least I’ve got some batteries on the list; if they arrive. I can listen to the radio in the wet room again.

I went to check on the bags at the door, and they were all gone. Bar a bag of glass jars) I struggled to get the wheeler-guide going, and went to limped down to take the bag of recyclable glass jars, and they had gone? I was a bit concerned about the caretaker, if it was him who fetched the bags for me, was not communicating with me? I got down and found him, he was a new face, (I hope Robert is on holiday and not poorly) and he had not fetched the bags, a ‘woman’ did?

With well-aching feet and toes, I limped to the lift, and dropped off the bag for Jenny at her door and rang the bell. She’ll sort out who deserves them for me.

1Mon06bThen I got the ablutions sorted out. Another mystery, but a nice-one: Shaking Shaun, Nicodemus’s nerve-end failures, Anne Gyna and Dizzy Dennis were all so kind to me. The dropsies were only six, and little bleeding. Which was pleasing, but the toes, feet and Arthur’s knees were bothersome.

1Mon06CGoing to the kitchen afterwards, I saw the change of getting a moody-photo in, using the strong evening sunshine and the shadows. I did notice that both legs had gone thin, which in contrast to my wibbly-wobbly gross stomach hanging out all over the place, which gave me the guilts.

1Mon06aI got the meal prepared and served up, and a decent one it was. Those naturally Imperfect chips are the best of the frozen ones I’ve ever had. Overall, a flavour-rating of 705/10.

WD 150.0.100 Again, the sweet-Morpheus refused to come. Sleep deprivation seems to be the thing nowadays, with the lock-down. I bet a lot of others have it as well. Especially the poor devils with neighbours above who play music and watch TV at full-blast every night! They should do what I do, and invest in a pair of headphones so that others can get some sleep, and they can still watch their telly.

WD 150.0.100I watched the TV and nodded-off, woke, watched some TV and nodded-off… for hours and hours repeatedly, before finally getting off to blissful sleep.

WD 150.0.100 Then had to get up when the innards started rumbling, to visit the Throne Room. I struggled and failed to pass again.

Back in the c1968 recliner, I changed to a radio station, some classical music was found, and slowly but surely, the Thought-Storms abated, and I was drifting off, at last…

WD 150.0.100 The landline burst forth its ring and flashed. It took me a few seconds to respond, I struggled out of the chair, banged my elbow on the Ottoman as I nearly lost my balance; silently swore, and two paces to the phone… and it stopped ringing! Grobblecockski!

I got back down again, and it took ages before I’d unwound enough to get some sleep!

WDPrightWD 150.0.100 Again, I was on the verge of slipping into bliss, and the Pillow-Shaker Fire alarm activated! False alarms have occurred a lot of times. The NCH bloke said it is when someone on Blue-tooth on a similar band is using something on their internet or ethernet, laptop, computer or Ipad thingies? Anyway, I had to get up just to check, but there was no alarm on-site or Fire Brigade attended.

I gave up, got up, knocked the bottle of water off of the Ottoman, and did some imitation cleaning in the kitchen. Hey-Ho!

Marie

Marie, Australian sex-pot and TFZer!

GM black03:45hrs: I stirred into an unwilling simulation of life, and immediately the wee-wee demands arrived. This time, I was careful in my manipulations at getting out of the £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working recliner. That’s the uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner. That xyrophobia-suffering, chaetophorous, anti-epilation Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward. And he fitted new CCTC cameras, then searched for my valuables, which he found and took. (I still haven’t got all of the money back yet, nine-months later).

I avoided any Accifauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplops guilefully, I thought. Off I limped to the wet room, and still managed to arrive in plenty of time. Smug-Mode-Adopted! The action was again swift and rapid, perhaps a more difficult evacuation, but far less hurtful, which pleased me. Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding overnight, so a clean and medicating session was needed. (Always a painful, tender and delicate job, Tsk!)

WD 0.0.0 (1) New PP’s, a wash of the hands, that encapsulated my dropping the soap at least three times! Yes, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were playing up a tad already. This didn’t bode well for any physical tasks, making the meals or decent typing for today. But, you never know with my ailments, many come and go at their leisure for varying lengths of time. The important thing, was no Dizzy Dennis, Saccades Sandra, Anne Gyna, Reflux Roger, Shuddering Shoulders Shirley, Toothache Tim, Earache Eric, or Memory blanks had been of any bother, yet. Even Arthur Itis and Duodenal Donald were only playing at it this morning. The toes and feet were, of course, making up for the absence of effort from their fellow ailments. Hahaha!

To the kitchen, took the medications, and made a brew.

Got the computer on with a degree of assiduity and diligence. Then got on with the updating of the Saturday diary. Despite Nicodemus’s problems, I pressed on and got it completed. Emailed the links. Put some bits on Pinterest. Then, I went on the WordPress Reader section. Next, I read the comments, and one from Tim Price from New Mexico, made me laugh out loud. He’d made a parody of my mentioning a stand-alone wee-wee in Friday’s blog. I’ll show it here, it was hilarious for me! Hehehe!

It goes to Green Day’s tune “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”

“In the Wet Room of Broken Wees”

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone

I’m standing at the throne
Trying to wee-wee but I can’t go
The is some broken wind
I’m locked down and I wee-wee alone

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone

Inchy’s the only one the hangs there with me
Besides my heart, the sock-glide gives me a beating
I wish someone would come in and assist me
Until then I wee-wee alone

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone.

7Sun01I went on Facebooking, The Troll Free Zone, then the Winwood Heights page.

Where I published some photographs of when the nightmare upgrading was taking place. Also, one from the morning of 20th March 2018, 23:45hrs, when I opened the curtain to see a pigeon asleep and pooping at the same time on the scaffolding. I didn’t-half scare the poor thing! Har-har!

WD 0.0.0 (1) Then, it was time for another brew, as soon as I’d made the mug of Glengettie tea, the need for the Porcelain Throne came again. Off to the wet room. Where nothing moved, rock-solid! Despite the wind and bubbling innards? Another sign of problems to come?

WDP A01cWD 0.0.0 (1) I fear that when I returned to the kitchen, I had a sudden and mysterious, unexpected attack of psychasthenia. The mind did not function in any way like usual, I was ultra-vague in thought, and my balance went! Although this only lasted for perhaps a minute, it left me with feelings of neurasthenia, and it was disquieting, to say the least. I could not even press the alarm alert button, although I’m now glad I didn’t, for everything came back into logic and vision another minute later. I felt as if I had dreamt the whole thing, and it hadn’t actually happened. Maybe it didn’t? Yes, it did!

7Sun03I gingerly made another brew, to replace the one that had gone cold. My brain was working well again because I remembered to make and take some Macrogol powder, to tackle Constipation Conrad’s resistance to movement. I took a photo of the sky and the amazingly appealing clouds, although they bode rain for later on.

7Sun02As I went to close the thick-framed, letting-in-rain, light & view-blocking kitchen window, I thought I heard some weird grinding noise from I knew not where. I took a blind shot of Chestnut walk below, but there were no signs of anything that might have made the sound I heard?

WD 0.0.0 (1) I decided after the mug of tea went cold again, to get the ablutions done. It will be a long job this time. I didn’t shave yesterday, so I need to take extra care not to have any cuts. And the showering time today, I’ll make the weekly deep-medicationalisationing session. Tubes and inserts already readied. I’ll use the time to think about what to do regarding the funny turn I had. But I feel fine now.

Put the computer into sleep mode,  and hobbled off to the wet room. Back in a bit, hopefully. Hehe!

WDP01bAll done, and I am astoundingly, mind-bogglingly amazed! No, I say, No toe-stubbing, No knocking anything off of the shelves, no sock-glide battle (fair enough, I’m still not wearing socks cause of long nails), only two tiny nicks shaving, and only four dropsies. A safety record for ablutionalisationing that will never be beaten, indeed?

I got freshened up and medicated again, and set about making the 71’s nosh. All done and delivered. Then made a start on my meal.

The crispy fish balls in batter with salt & vinegar. Some onions, and mushy peas. I’d forgot to get the bread out of the freezer, so I’ll go without. No chips or potatoes, as I ate a lot of made-to-much, cheesy potatoes, I made for Josie.

WD 0.0.0 (1) Updated this blog a bit, then went to check on the fodder cooking. During which, Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shoulder Shirley both had a go at me. I got the meal served eventually, turned off the computer and sat there, right arm, shoulder and leg shaking, convulsing and vibrating so much, that if I was wearing false teeth, I might have lost them! Tsk! Not a good day, healthwise!

7Sun04cGot the meal prepped and served up, into the recliner, got the headphones (I’ve taped them up so I can still them, but they are not functioning properly since I sat on them and broke them. Humph). Still, better than nothing. I thought I’d coped well with the preparations and serving, and by the time I was ready to take the tray through, there were many odd bits and sploshes all over the kitchen that will need cleaning up later. Gnash-and-spit!

7Sun05WD 0.0.0 (1) Another bit of a blank spell. I must have nodded off. I woke up, the TV on, the headphones on the next chair? The tray was amazingly, still balanced on my bulbously bloated stomach and spindly legs, with much fodder still on it.

WD 0.0.0 (1) In the waste bin, was many tissues (no blood on any), the pot of yoghourt, the lemon tart, the unopened can of clementine juice, and the note pad and pen? I couldn’t give a Taste Rating, cause I can’t remember eating it. Not that I ate a lot of it anyway.

I forced myself up, and precariously wobbled to the kitchen and got the pot washing done. I noticed that all the saucepans and cutlery from cooking had already been washed and on the drainer. The messes on the floor from the earlier Nicodemus-controlled dropsies had not been cleaned up. I think I felt confused, yet disinterested.

I finished the pots, retrieved the full can of clementine juice and pen from the waste bin (the notepad was ruined, wet and unreadable, so I left that).

I settled in the chair again and pondered over just what had been going on. Why had I not eaten much? (Ageusia?) Why throw the full can of clementine juice, the full pot of yoghourt, and pen and pad away? Why? How? When?

It’s been a mentally-challenging day. Yet apart from feeling tired and drained, I had a certain nippiness of mind at this moment. Then the Thought Storms began, fears, worries, and tension, but without the usual self-blame and criticisms, which was very welcome!

Unanticipatedly, and as never known before, the storm of emotions stopped abruptly. Then the memories came flooding in from the brain, but not the bad ones, only the good and seemingly doctored ones. Good heavens, I like that!

00 May 02

GM00303:25hrs: I woke after a nightmare-ridden kip. I lay a few moments trying to recall anything about the dreams, but only the fact that they were about my past failures and mistakes came to mind, nothing concrete, no details or facts.

WD 50.0.0 Then, as the brain slowly engaged gear, yesterday’s memory blanks were pondered over. I decided, that as soon as, well, if, things get back to normal again, I must get in touch with the Vascular Dementia Group, if I can find their details, and mention the increase in the ‘Out of it’ episodes I’m having. I was more worried about it, this time, for some reason. Within seconds, the recently regular need for the Porcelain Throne arrived and distracted my thinking.

I painfully disentangled my surprisingly twisted and yet sprawled over everywhere humongous body from the recliner. I knew walking was not going to easy today (Well, when is it?). RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis), the feet souls and the overgrown toenails, all gave me hassle on the way to the wet room. I did notice that the nibble pots from last night, seem top have been untouched. Nibbled-less?

WDP001However, the session went well, indeed, much easier than yesterday. Barely any bleeding from the rear end and Little Inchies fungal lesion had not been bleeding at all! Wonder-fabulous! Not as hurtful, and over quicker too! Oh, Yes!

I cleaned up and medicated things, and hobbled, taking extreme and concentrating on not to get any toe-stubbings, to the kitchen.

6Sat01There was a slowness to my thoughts this morning. Not necessarily a bad thing, I think.

Before I turned on the light, I spotted the partial moon through the thick-framed, light and view-blocking window. I got the kettle on made a brew of Glengettie Gold, and took a photo as best I could of the morning 6Sat02view.

Then I decided to get the handwashing sorted out. This is an example of what happened yesterday, the mind kept changing priorities and forgetting what was going on before. I got the togs done, wrung and hung, and the tea had gone cold!

WD 50.0.0 So, I made another and remembered belatedly to take the morning medications. Realising, as I got the pill-dispenser out, that I had not taken last nights doses! This was not a very promising start to the day, Konrad Confusion seemed to be in charge again, not Inchcock!

Sorry if this sounds confusing, but it was to me, baffling!: When I got on the computer, I even jumped between tasks, it was all very disconcerting. Instead of getting on with the urgent need to update the Friday post first, I got the photo’s uploaded, resized and then instead of putting them in yesterday’s diary, I started to create the template for this blog? In the middle of doing this, I checked the Emails. Found one I’d missed somehow, from Jenny, and wrote a reply. Then, not back to this blog, or the Friday one, oh, no! I made up a Thought graphic on CorelDraw. I needed to get a grip!

I started the updating on Friday’s blog.  Pressed on, and got it done with relative ease, but still with problems that delayed me somewhat. This was because Nicodemus, Saccades-Sandra, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley and Shaking Shaun, were all being so kind to me, too. No, the addled-brain is the guilty party this time!

I got it finished and tried to concentrate harder. I got the link emailed off. Put some bits on Pinterest. Went on the WordPress reader. Then did some Facebooking, and commenting.

6Sat03Back to the Porcelain Throne again. Although Arthur Itis was getting a little painful again, I think the knees were looking much better than yesterday. The faces in the patellas had morphed changed. Hehehe! The evacuation was another decent one too! Still, Constipation Conrad drove, but far less bothersome.

6Sat05aI got a wash, and off to the kitchen, to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

I investigated the options for the nosh later. I had a check on the freebie potatoes and found they had roots growing out of them. So I removed them, it took me a while to get them sorted out. I got them cooking in the crock-pot on a low setting. Added some vinegar and salt and cleaned up the counter. Made the brew, took the midday med’s a little early, I know, but at least I remembered them this time. Hahaha!

The plan was to have them with some peas and the steak that is on its last use-by date in the fridge.

WD 50.0.0 I spotted some dogs walking their owners in the bottom field, and went to fetch the camera. But, could I find it? No! Bemused, I fossicked around, getting more and more frustrated with myself. I found the old camera eventually, not the new one yet, and gathered it and returned to the kitchen window.

WDP 003lrWD 50.0.0 WD 50.0.0A The bottom field was devoid of any tellurians of any type by then. The tea had gone cold! I’d left the hot water tap running, and that was cold! And I felt a right twit then! I’d had the Panasonic camera in my pocket all the time! As scatterbrains, simpletons and schnooks go, I must be in line for some sort of medal or award by now, surely?

WDP Dec 26bWD 50.0.0 I made another brew, Morrisons Extra Strong Assam this time, and returned with it to the computer. I’d sat down for only a few seconds, with the aim of getting this blog further updated, and Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shaking Shirley and Saccades Sandra all came at me at the same time! They seemed to be working in unison?

WDPH01LHowever, after having me holding on to the cupboard to prevent my toppling out of the chair, and thinking how lucky I was, that this didn’t happen while I stood up; within a couple of minutes, all three had departed my body!

What’s going on here?

6Sat10The all-around Hum, suddenly grew in volume again, just like yesterday. Annoying, enough to drive one mad!

I was sat there typing, listening to the mind-destroying ‘Hum’, and a few clangs from above, and I am sure I heard a noise that sounded like things clattering to the floor from within the flat. Off to investigate. I got distracted from my search when I checked the hallway. When I saw a large official-looking envelope near the door, I became twitchy. wrought-up, and adrenalised. I had no option but to open it straight away to find out what it was all about. Which I did!

WD 50.0.0 It was a dirty great 20 page A4 two-sided Questionnaire from the Vascular Dementia R4VaD (Whatever R4VaD is). Twenty pages!

This is going to be a challenge I thought I’d better make a start on it.

Back in a bit…

I was side-tracked for the first stand-alone wee-wee of the day. (It had to come, Haha!) Wot-a-shocker it was too! Or rather, wasn’t! It turned out to be a TBKIWAWBC (The-Bladder-6Sat15Know-It-Wants-A-Wee-But-Can’t!) version.

An hour -and-three-quarters later, I’d got the questionnaire filled in. Phew!

I espied some dog walkers as I was doing the paperwork, and thought I’d try to take some snaps of them. But it was a rushed affair, and I didn’t really zoom in enough, but still, I tried my bestest.

6Sat14

I gathered the black bags together, put some on the Trolley-Guide, and got the large envelope sealed and took it with me to post it. I’m not going to risk walking out with the stick like the other day, too risky! A bit of a messy job hobbling with five bags, pushing the walker, and trying not to crease the envelope up. I got the waste chute utilised and rid myself of the bags.

I got down in the lift and went to walk through Winwood Court for the first time for a few weeks.

6Sat28

Aha, blocked-off! Fair enough. So I made my way back through Woodthorpe Court and out into the sunshine on Chestnut Walk, to limp up to the post box.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

6Sat22Plenty of yobboes about on their bikes and skateboards up and down the road. Many residents coming and going in taxis too. The sunshine was reasonable, a breeze helped.

I stopped a moment or two for some pain relief and took a snap of my beloved Woodthorpe Court from outside the Extra Care Winwood Court.

Made my way back, and could not believe how long it had taken me to walk a few hundred yards to the post-box and back!

WD 50.0.0 Scotty opened the door for me to get in, and I was so glad he was there, cause I’d not taken the key fob with me!

I know, I know! I’m a Yolop!

Still, Scotty and I had a little natter from a distance. Really enjoyed it, nowt serious and we had a laugh or two! He’d had to take a seat, to recover from carrying hos booze from the taxi. Hahaha! Jealousy showing up hear! Hehe!

6Sat24I got the one-day out-of-date beef in the oven. And for the next forty minutes or so updated this diary.

I closed everything down, drained but worried cause I thought I’d forgotten something important I had to do? Grobbledangerations!

6Sat28I still do now.

Got the nosh sorted out. Last of the fresh spuds, steak, a can of vegetables sausages and beans. The steak reminded me of when Dad went out into the yard and worked on his shoe mending cobbling lark. But he had an easier job to cut through the leather! Hehe! Rating 6/10.

I got the pots washed, took the medications, and settled in the recliner to watch a film on the TV. Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shuddering Shirley, and constant Thought Storms ruined things.

GMX06a03:25hrs: I stirred into a loose form of pretend-life, and recognised that the need for the Porcelain Throne was somewhat urgent. Without much thought or common sense, I attempted straight away, to remove my overly-stomached torso from the £300 second-hand recliner.

This was one of my more painful mistakes, but there was a more severe one to come yet! Oh, lucky me!

WD 128.0.0 A hard truth to put into understandable words, but I’ll try my bestest, such a lot of calamities came within seconds of each other.

  • As I prised my lump of meat up, I leant against the arm with the right hand, stick in the left, the arm slipped off of the chair, and I plump back down again.
  • The bleeding from Little Inchies fungal lesion and Harold’s Haemorrhoids were instant! Warm, wet and painful!
  • A small silent curse and questioning of my parentage, and I tried again. The pain in the overgrown nails on the feet almost had me over as I tried to stand on my heels. But the four-pronged walking stick prevented another sprawling of my Hindenburg-dirigible sized, but a lot wobblier, torso.
  • No time to gather my senses and balance, I made my way to the wet room, fearing I might be too late, as the innards churned.
  • I even got a bit of a move on; and clouted my left elbow of the corner of the doorframe as I got to the WC room. It was almost like an electric shock.

WD 128.0.0 Inside, I dropped the jammie-bottoms and PPs, and down on the raised disabled Grumpy-old-git’s seat. And it was for certain this time, that Trotsky Terence had left the field clear for Constipation Conrad to take over again! I think it felt more like concrete than ever before. But, to be fair, there was minimal bleeding considering the falling back down in the recliner accifauxpas. I took me a long time to force things along. Then, the worst job, cleaning and medication the fungal lesion had to be done. A delicate job indeed, one error and the flood of red stuff flows with a venom. However, uncomfortable as it was, I resisted rushing things, and they all came out okay. Phew!

4Thu01Off to take the medications and make a brew, and the letter that arrived last night was perused.

A good idea that is, a picnic on the flat balcony, and a chance to wave from a  safe distance to other tenants, that I haven’t seen for weeks, with another new sentence from the Doctors for 3-further months imprisonment and isolation, will be okay.

As I got back to the junk room to turn on the computer, the lousy, annoying, never-ending noise from ‘The Hum’ was as loud as it’s ever been. Drives you potty! The Governments best scientists can’t find out what it is caused by. Mind you, they are struggling with Coronavirus pandemic at the moment, so. With all the millions of people staying at home, I would have expected more of them to go mad with having the excruciatingly disturbing ‘Hum’, for 24/7. Hehehe!

I pressed on with making the Template for this blog first. Then went on to updating the Wednesday blog. Got it finalised and sent off. Then Emailed the links. Then on WP Reader. Pinterested some snaps.

Then, got on with the ablutions. All going very well indeed. Up to taking the shower, only three dropsies! Razor, shaving foam, and soap. A sensational start to the session.

I got under the shower and saw some new mould marks near the floor. Bear in mind, I did not have the glasses on, of course. So, I grabbed a can of Cif 100% Mould Remover (I thought at the time, anyway) and sprayed it on the wall and floor. Started showering, and stopped to rinse away the soaking spray.

4Thu02WD 128.0.0 Oh, dear, stinging pains from the stomach? I investigated the problem, and saw some odd coloured stuff running down the overweight tummy? I soon realised when I put my glasses on what it was. (Impetigo Imogen rampant this morning?)

WD 128.0.0 The colour was the same as the mould remover I’d just used!

WD 128.0.0a4Thu03 Then, I realised I had not used the Cif 100% mould remover, I’d used Cif 100% Oven & Grill Remover! It did sting a bit! It might claim to be a Perfect Finish, but I saw nothing on it about warning of the bottle having a tendency to leak! Cholericalisations, What a plonka! Hahaha! I had a good long spray around from the showerhead of me and the wet room. The pain dissipated, but it left me with an infuriatingly annoying itch!

Still, it could have been worse.

I got the medicating of all things in need done, olive-oiled the earholes, Phorpain gelled the knees and toes. Yes, toes! Not easy using the picker-up so I can reach the toes, I can tell yer! Hehe! Aftershave applied, body spray and even a slash of Au de Caloone… no, that’s not right. I’ll nip and have a look at the bottle, hang on a second or two… Got it, it was eau de toilette spray.

Got dressed, shame really, that means more handwashing to do. Har-har!

Made up and took some black bags to the chute. The flaming toes are hurting more and more. Humph!

Hoping to get the electric can-opener and some more black bags delivered today from Amazon. Even more important, I pray that I will be able to operate the machine. Cramps and RAI (rheumatoid Arthur Itis), can cause problems enough, but when Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters nerve end die, it can be dangerous with the usual hand-operated can openers. The Warfarin levels are high too, which means bleeding can be a bugger to stop.

4Thu03aI made a brew and had a look outside. Some dogs walking their owners were about, so I got the camera to try and take a few shots. The dogs were a bit too lively for me to catch a photo of them with their owners.

Until a couple with some older woof-woofs came along. I see these dogs regularly, it looks like the larger, older one has arthritis or something like that. But he still does his best to keep up, bless him.

Then, as I was giving up, I spotted a lone crow on the bottom field near the tree copse and set about trying to get a decent shot of him for Lona, a gal on the Troll Free Site, who loves crows. As you can see, with him (the crow) being lively, and Nicodemus’s nerve ends letting me down, it was a struggle to get any shot of the bird at all. My best three efforts are below, I got a few shots with no bird many, one with part of him, and finally managed one of the carrion-crow. Then he flew off.

4Thu07

I checked on the tracker about the Amazon things, it indicated today twixt 16:00 > 20:00hrs. Then I updated this blog.

Then got a template for the morning made up. Then I set about getting some graphics made up. Things went okay with the nerve-ends. (Smugness Mode Assimilated!)

4Thu23As I checked on the potatoes in the slow-cooker, the intercom burst into life. It was the Amazon delivery of black bags and the electric tin (can) opener. I pointed rolled a can of G&T to the chap, and he was very pleased with it, and the genuine thanks I gave him.

The first thing needed, was my learning how to use the machine. The guide book was in too small and feint a print to grasp all of it. But I gave it a go on the large (400g whatever that is) can of garden peas without a ring pull on it. I observed the bit of plastic tubing on the blade in time and removed it. I wasn’t too confident I’d set it up properly, but it worked well. The tips that Sister Jane gave me earlier on the phone, were used and all went okay. Thanks, Jane.

4Thu22Having got the peas in the saucepan, I set about making up some black bags. The roll of sacks in my hand in this picture contained 200!

So you can tell they were a little smaller than I had hoped. Humph! On the other hand, they were stronger than the ones I had in stock Swings and roundabouts? I made up two of the old bags and one of the new, this confirmed the new bags being stronger but no thicker. So, maybe they were worth the extra cost? Hobbling was so painful, with my trying to walk on the heels to relieve the pain from the long toes, this caused balance difficulties, IU must have looked a sad sight.

I took the bags to the waste chute and returned to collect the recycling box and bag to take down to caretakers room.

As I was getting out of the lift on the ground floor, I met Angela’s Roy (15th floor). The man kindly offered to take the bag and box to the caretaker for me. Which was such a kind gesture, as he saw how I was struggling to walk. I thanked him and explained that I needed to walk, or try to, or else things would freeze-up. He laughed, which cheered me a little.

I got to the caretaker’s room, but Robert was out and about, so I left the big box near his door. Hope he doesn’t mind.

5Fri33Back up to get the nosh sorted. Very tasty. Flavour rating of 8.8/10, the potatoes that the Government had kindly given me in the food parcel, were excellent, slow-cooked with a drop of balsamic and malt vinegar added. The flavour soaked in well with using the crock-pot to sort of marinating.

As I washed the pots, and then me, thoughts turned to will I be able to sleep, the mind was a little active, churning over.

I rang Deana again, to ask her to cancel the Nottingham City Council food parcels, but the phone died on me after telling me ‘Not available’. I bet the ILCs are getting more stressed than I am. All of us to bother about, and their own clan too!

Got settled down, and watched To the Future 2 on TV. I’d seen it before, just as well, cause I kept nodding off every time the adverts came on.

When it was finished, I recall thinking, ‘Hello, Toothache Tim seems to be starting again’, and then a beautiful blankness for five hours of uninterrupted sleep! Yeehaa!

Keep safe, folks!

GM L 0.0.130bl014:20hrs: I lay there in the £300, dilapidated, second-hand, c1968, gut-wrenchingly horrible beige coloured, not working, rickety recliner. I stayed there for a while, uninterested in anything practical, in an unconventional, incredibly optimistic frame of mind, almost contended.

I spent a few minutes putting the world to rights… I solved the Coronavirus problem, brought about world peace. Then I legislated a few new laws; Life imprisonment for Pavement Cyclists, brought back corporal punishment for paedophiles, freed all prisoners, bar the violent ones, on the promise of their being hung drawn and quartered if they offended again. Solved the global climate problems, and gave medals and an increase in pay for all the NHS staff.  Volunteer helpers were given free air travel for two years…

3Wed0204:40hrs: Then I woke up. In need of a wee-wee and the Porcelain Throne. I grabbed the stick, caught my balance, and poddled off to the wet room. Where the wee-wee, for a change, came first. It was of the ELPJL (Extra-Long-Powerful-Jet-Like) fashion. Yet, it was painless! The evacuation can be described as meat-ball-like (Sorry, but it’s true).

WD 0.0.30 W I spotted some marks on the arm, Clopidogrel Clive inspired, or maybe Myasthenia Gravis Mavis? I rubbed some of the antiseptic creams into the area, and I felt a bit of a tender area on the other side, so 3Wed03investigated. I think this might have been my leaning against something in the hours spent and failing to get to sleep last night. Hey-ho!

I was now cheering up, mostly prompted by the helpful folks being such a boon to me this week. So inspirational, despite my recent adoption of a Grumbly-old-man mode. Tsk!

I so appreciate this food parcel, if it comes each week. I can forget all the worrying and hassle over trying to get a food order slot, in the knowledge that things will be alright. A blessed relieve that! Thank you Nottingham City Council and Homes. ♥

I made my way to the kitchen, feeling industrious and ready for the challenges of the day (I may regret saying that. Hehehe!) I spotted the shirt I’d left in the bowl to soak, and went to get the washing done, wrung and hung before even putting the kettle on. (Mmm?)

WDP 003bWD 0.0.30 a I caught the tops of the toes on my right foot underneath the cabinet door. Bending some of the overgrown nails backwards. Argh! I managed to keep down my coprolalia response to a low volume.

3Wed05Well, that ensured I was in an alert and awake state now. Haha!

I got the washing finished and hung.

Then got the kettle on, and tried taking a different sized photo on the Panasonic camera, from the thick-framed, unwanted, disliked, 3Wed01light & view-blocking, kitchen window. It came out, alrightish.

WD 0.0.30 W Getting the camera setting back to the original setting was a farce, as I couldn’t remember which one it was on! Eventually. I tried the 4-3 ratio. We’ll see later if it was right. What a memory I have!

3Wed06I got a brew of Thomsons Punjana tea made, took the medications and did the medicationalisationings.

I got on the computer and remembered to make an order for an electric can opener from Amazon. Not cheap, but I hope that RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis and Nicodemus’s dying nerve-ends) can cope using with it. I’ve not been able to use a can opener for yonks now, and have to use the ring-pull ones. Of course, with having to use delivered food now, there is no way I can tell if what I buy has ring-pull or not. The kindly donated food parcel delivered, had no pulls on any of the tins, so if it is usable for me when it arrives, at least I can use the peas, beans, soups etc. that I have amassed since the lock-down. Fingers crossed!

WD 0.0.30 W I made up a template for this blog and started writing it. Then it dawned on me, I had not yet finalised Tuesday Diary! What a feebleminded, lunkheaded, glaikit I really am! Hey-ho! So, I started to update the post, at last!

WD 0.0.30 W Huh! Foolish me, thinking I was going some diary work done! I really should have known better than even try to! It’s madness! The landline sprang to life. It was Sister Jane & Pete, worried because the blog link had not been sent to them. I was ruining their morning coffee session when they usually read it. Hahaha! The conversation was enjoyable but challenging to understand all of it, as Jane spoke to Pete in between, and I was getting confused, not knowing who she was talking to. Anyway, Jane told me I should buy a microwave. I mentioned I haven’t got the room. She told me to make it! Haha! We managed a few laughs between us, and I ended up enjoying the natter. But it cost me an awful lot of time, and I was already three hours behind the usual posting time, and I had not yet got the blog updated.

I was accompanied by the odd clang, bang and tapping noises from above. At least I know that Herbert is alright. Ferreting away at his model-making. Poor thing, he must be missing his jig-saw puzzling now the social-area has been closed down for the duration on the pandemic. He loved doing them, too.

I made brew, and decided nothing was going to stop[ me getting the updating done this time!

I was wrong! WD 0.0.30 W ♫ I only want to be with you ♫, chimed out from the doorbells. I got up and put some pants and a shirt on. It was only another food parcel! This time from the Government. And a good one it was, too!

The both-sided A4 letter said it would be weekly. So, I thought I would phone later, to cancel the Nottingham City Council parcel, and thank them for their efforts.

I got the things stored away, and made up two black bags and took them to the waste chute. (Arthur Itis and the toes were being a bit bothersome… well, damn painful! But I was in a grateful mood towards the volunteer’s efforts for the gift.

WD 0.0.30 W Back to the flat, and called Trapeze artist and lap-top dancer, ILC Warden Deana, to cancel the food from Nottingham City Homes. But the message said she is not available at the moment.

I thought I’d better get an order in; if I can see one suitable for an electric can-opener on Amazon. Hoping I can then use the tinned goods without ring-pull tabs on them. After much kerfuffling about, indecision and pusillanimity, I opted for this one.

3Wed12 (2)

I’m not sure or confident if I’ll manage to cope using it. Janet tells me it is easy. But with the Colin Cramps, Rheumatoid Arthur Itis, Nicodemus’s unreliable neurotransmitters, Dizzy Dennis, Shaking Shaun and Neuropathic Nigel to cope with, people can’t understand or believe the difficulties I have in doing everyday things. Even I can’t at times. Hahaha!

WD 0.0.30 W Great balls of fire! I got carried away and out of kilt there! I’ve still not updated the Tuesday post! What a lamentably pathetic, neglectable, nitwit I am! I’ll do it now!

WD 0.0.30 W For crying out loud! The landline lit and rang forth again! It was the Cardiac Unit, calling for someone of another name? I had to go all through my personal details to convince them I was me! The caller asked for someone with the surname Chamberlain, I think it was. Ah, well, it was reassuring that others can get things wrong as well!

WD 0.0.30 W I tried to get the updating done, seven hours later than usual. Botherations and blasticulisations! Ah, well, I’ll get on with…

Well, that cost me a couple of hours or more. With the link sent off, the WordPress Reading, then TFZer Facebooking I’d used up a total of four more hours of the day!

I rang Jane, to make sure she’s received the link to the post. I found out I was not to order any more food. Still got to buy a microwave, and must cut down on doing things to give me more time for the blog. Thanks, Jane. Humph!

At long last, I got back on CorelDrawing. Well, I managed to get two done. better than none.

3Wed25Got the nosh started. Lamb burgers, boiled spuds, tomatoes, sugar snap peas, and all prepared and served up.

A splash of Hoisin sauce on the halved spuds. All acceptable. The lamb burgers made a nice change, but they were not as good as the beefburgers. Flavour rating: 7.5/10.

Did the washing up, moved the handwashing, and got settled, determined to get some good sleep in if I could.

Ah, well, you can’t win ’em all!
