Well, butter my butt and call me a biscuit! Over six hours of sleep, with just one wake-up early in the morning, about 05:00hrs, after I’d had the dream about the end of mankind & the planet. I scribbled some memory notes to help me in recall for the writing about it on the ode for today. (above). It was like a documentary. Forecasts, images and disasters were being revealed. Constantly changing between countries and different types of catastrophes. All of them, humankind made.   I did wonder if had had a hand in creating this nightmare, well, morningmare? Apparently, the end will come in three years’ time. But by the time it ends, judging by the details given to me, those still left on earth will be glad to see the back of it. Millions of humans committed suicide, genocide, fratricides, sororicides, infanticides, homicides, general populicides, and a few tyrannicides as well. Still, it made a nice change to wake up with something on my mind. Hehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

At 0605hrs, I emerged from the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, with scribble on the note pad to create an ode about the dream for this blog. And that was all I seemed interested in.
The nocturnal catheter pouch urine was darker today. This makes me worry about the District Nurses taking off the entire on Monday, to see if I can manually wee-wee. If it is this colour when they arrive, I can’t see them bothering. They may decide to book me in for a permanent catheter option? I pray not!

I got on the computer, but as soon as I started using it…
Down it went! But I got it back within 15 minutes. Then spent a good one-and-a-half hours making the Dream Ode.

Sorted the waste bags out.

Went to the kitchenette, and the morning mist up high was obliterating views from the window.
The first shot I took, had the flash on.
The 2nd at least you can see the houses.
Neither photos were very good.

Then… nervously off to the wet room. But only slightly this time. Messy again, but at least there were a few torpedo-shaped chunks in there. Haha!

The feet and toes looked surreal with their oh-so-white toe ends. Otherwise, they were looking good.

The Carer Arrived. Had a natter while she did the medicationings and eye drops.

Worked on yesterday’s blog, and within three hours I’d updated and posted it off to WordPress!

Before starting on today’s photos, I fetched an ice cream cornet from the freezer – it was far too soft, so I expect my leaving the freezer door open has done more damage than I expected. When I get time, I’ll have to dish some stuff.

Took a photo to the left of the flats.
Where the morning sun is still behind Mapperley Hill.
Then straight ahead.

I adjusted the strapping on the catheter. Not very well, though. Carer Victor arrived and readjusted the straps for me. Where did the time go? afternoon already!

Wee-weeing well… but…
see how it comes out of the pouch?

Better tackle the ablutioning now. This is going to be a long job. Getting things together and ready to go in.
Oh, I’ll do the waste first. Been tidying up… Oh, Yes!
13:12hrs: To the Wet Room! Charrrge! Well, I limped in.
Pleased with the shaving while standing in a bowl of water at the sink. No trips, slips or balance problems. I even got out and washed and dried the bowl, harm-free!
And as for the shaving, huh, only two cuts! Honestly!
The showering I admit was a bit of a farce. Hit my head on the power box. dropped the loofah twice, and stubbed my toe on the flipping shower chair leg.
Drying off, I knocked a selection of things off of the floor cabinet. I took two photographicalisations of the mess, but neither made it to the SD card.

Even getting into the Protection pants was relatively easy today? I’m not saying it was easy; I meant it was less painful, and no injuries were involved. But it still hurt! Hahaha!

15:15hrs; All done. Got some potatoes in the oven, and back to the computer to get on with this blog.
Getting tired now (16:25hrs), so I’ll get the nosh sorted out.

Carer Marie arrived as I was planning the meal. Showed me a way to shred cheese in a safer way; bless her.
I got on with making the cheesy potatoes, with some of Jenny’s yellow & red tomatoes, fishless fish sticks, And sliced beetroot. The strawberry dessert was on its last sell-by date.
Flavour Rating: 9/10!

I took some snaps earlier, that I forgot to put in here. Well fancy that; Me! forgetting something!
Sky to the North.
Sky to the North, a little higher.
A later shot of the same area.
Even earlier and missed off, a shot of the car park end.

Went into the wet room, to change my PP’s…
and clean & medicate my lower region.
I was flabbergasted to see that the bruise on the left thigh, that I got when taking the last tumble, and two days later had completely vanished – was back again? Impossible, surely? I haven’t taken any knocks or falls for days now.
Ah, unless I took a knock nocturnally… could be?

Carer Victor did the last call. I was asleep when he came, and have little knowledge of how things went, but he had put the night pouch on for me. Getting back to sleep took a while, and when I got there, there were the odd flapping and threshing about awakenings. But at least didn’t go on and on as he has been doing; in fact, he’s given me two nights off… but he’s back, but not with a vengeance this time.

TTFNski, each!

INCHY: Saturday 9th September 2023 – Aboulomania!

Ahem! I found this in ten seconds! Fair enough, it was designed for infants to work out. But still – Hehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It didn’t last long, though…
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
This day, I was more out of it than in again. The urine in the night bag was dark but grew darker as I refilled the day bag. Well into the evening, it turned an almost perfect near-white? The Porcelain Throne visits (4) were bloody and painful, with absolutely nothing getting through to the WC! I spent ages on the Throne, all to no avail. I’m now taking crystals to help me go, after months of taking anti-diarrhorea pills to stop me from going! In fact, I was on the Throne when Carer Chris came in and tapped on the door asking if I was alright. I’d not heard the chime. He said he could hear me oohing, r’ing and swearing! Guilty!

The memory, Dizzies, Confusion, and I could barely hear anyone I spoke with… I must try to sort out the problem with the Audio Centre, to get some help to ring them next week. No Kara next week. I think she’s on a deserved holiday. The financials are all on hold. Carer Atere said he was coming in her place. He knows the financial paperwork storage system, which will be a big help.

The usually Nocturnal Thought Storms Steve had a bash at trying diurnal Thought Storming! Huh!  Just what I needed, Not!
Concentration Konrad was noticeable by his complete absence
.
The number of times I just could not think of what I was after an interruption, was so often I lost count. I’m not kidding. And yet there was an air of acceptance with me today. I reckon I thought I deserved it… Well, according to Thought Storm Steve, who was constantly reminding me of the shameful things from my youth.
The day was spent on the computer. Apart from the emptying of the catheter pouch, the failed visits to the Porcelain Throne, and the Carers calling. The worst repeat interruptions were from the , .who amassed many brown-outs today. Which in their usual fashion lost me work that I’d done and could not save, because I had to turn everything off, and reset the box, then restart the computer. Even change Wi-Fi connection numbers each time it went down, and do the same work again!
What me, Cry? Blubber, Howl? Curse, Swear?
It was only my dyspathy towards the number-crunching oligarchs, the smoke & mirrors money & figure manipulating financial geniuses of Liberty-Global that kept me going, and not packing up on the blogging.
Spit!

Still got a few photographicalisations done though!
Bejesus! What a colour!
Still dark hours later, when I belatedly emptied the day pouch.

Waste bags sorted out.

During one of the failed visits, I had to change into fresh PPs. I tried one of the cheaper XXL ones…
The first laugh of the entire day!
I struggled, as usual getting them on, but kept my balance; no fall or tumble, not even any banging on the wall, stubbed toe or door-head-butting
. Finally, I got both legs in the right holes… Don’t laugh; I have been known to get them the wrong way around… also trying to get two legs in the same hole. Go on then, laugh! Hehe!
I carefully got the pants up my legs, without catching the release valve lever… this was going so well. The laugh came to me when I got them fully pulled up… they were so big the waistband was only inches from my nipples! Hahaha!

Artist Impression done in CorelDraw by Inchy. Har-Har!

Aha, much lighter shade this afternoon!
My favourite puffer clouds to the north.
And, to the east!

Liberty-Global Internet went down a few more times.
Gnash!

I dropped a tablet and thought it fell in the waste bin.
Had a sort through the bin, but could not find it.
So I got the torch and looked underneath the second-hand bought ex-Hopewells  G-Plan c1960 sideboard with the computer on it. Not only couldn’t I find it, I stubbed my toe in the struggle to get back up on my feet again! It has to be in the bin…
So, another dig around in the waste bin.
And another failure to find the Codeine. Hey-Ho!

Then realised when I’d stubbed the toe, I’d caught the right ankle ulcer. It stung a bit, but I now had the Germolene to rub in to ease it. Of course, bending down to rub in the ointment, kicked off , so she got some Germolene rubbed in… at least the area I could reach. I wonder if any youngsters read this blog? They’ll, just like I did, and think it’ll not happen to be, getting dithery, dozy and daft as a brush. Haha!

Night Shots From the Kitchen Window
Peaceful looking?
Lights out time.
Sky again to the left.

Here are the results of the carers tested for their BP.
All looking good!

Well into the morning now, I’d better get some nosh done.
I shall report back with a sit-rep for you every one of my avid readers in the morning. Hope you both sleep well. Har-Har!

03:00HRS: AT LAST… FOOD!
Vegetable Chilli-Con-Carne!
Breadsticks, a banana, and an iced lolly for afters.
Flavour-Rating: 9.2/10!

Got bedded down around 03:20hrs, and low & behold, was waiting ready to start again. But I did get off eventually and had nearly three hours of bliss. .
I would have stayed in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner for longer; Unfortunately Dementia Doreen’s compatriot, , convinced me on waking, that it was Monday! So I thought I had a delivery coming between 7 & 8, and it was already 07:15hrs; a semi-panic-mode was engaged and I got up in a bit of a rush; Dizzy Dennis visited, and I plumped down again, with a foggy head. Then realised it was Sunday.

Int life Good? Haha!
TTFNski!

Inchy: Sunday 3rd September 2023 – Sight, hearing & sleep, seeked!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The left cataracted eye is looking like I’ve taken a right hook from somebody! Mind you, looking again, so does the right one? But only the left one is painful. Although the left one was expected to be like this, I learnt of the right one only having one cataract that needed doing, and the left one had a cortical, and two nuclear cataracts done. Marching on… left, left, left, right left… Hehehe!  I’m still getting confused with so many eye medications to be done. How the Carer’s keep up with it I don’t know. I’ve written down the roster needed: AM on waking up: Blepharitis Gel, left eye only. Five minutes later, the 4-Times a day.
First Carer call: drops, for times a day, to be inserted by the Carers. The gel is AM & PM only. Then , this is to be applied by me, four times a day. The Dry Eye pads are to be used three times a day, applied by me. Instruction was supplied on how to do this properly. The Blepharitis liquid is applied on a pad and can be used morning and evening ‘If required’ in case of any pains, signs of bruising or red-eye appear. Well, they have all appeared!
Basically, I haven’t much idea what I’m doing!.
No doubt about it, when I caught the eye early in the morning, it hurt, and the redness started to appear! Left eye only then. However in the afternoon, as I was doing the pad cleansing job, had a go at me, and I caught the eye again! Then it got such a nuisance, that I had to abandon the blogging for a long time until things eased off and more vision was available. Humph!
Then, muggings here got into word-finding files.
So, cannot see, cannot hear, cannot get any sleep, and am generally desperate to make time…
Not much time for blog-creating again.
Onward… Not much today, Sorry.

The second meal of the day – A rarity?

So many ailments attacking today. The most annoying and bothersome one was without a doubt; . For constant sheer pain, and causing me balance loss. The above-average ones were , and . With support from & a particularly persistent kept failing.
An awful lot of jobs that I could not handle were being left undone. How I’ll ever catch up is beyond me.
The Domestic did not turn up for her hour of cleaning; she’s catching up with her due holidays she told me two weeks ago, so no blame there. The flat is getting untidy now, and beginning to look uncared for. A messy carer’s desk with bits of tablet packaging residue on the carpet. But it’s too dodgy for me to start bending and cleaning in the state I’m in. Sarah the City-Care OT, sent me an email, telling me not to bend down, amongst other advice:

Mission impossible for some of the suggestions. How can the carers find time or staff to help me clear the room? They can’t supply the domestic now. They’ve had to cut down the hour, to half an hour, of financial assistance. It is the holiday period now; the poor devils are struggling. Staff are taking their breaks when they can, before the time runs out, can’t be helped mind you. I know how difficult it is, being in the same position when I was Security Controller at Sawley Security, a nightmare! Mission Impossible for them as well, re this guidance.  Everything is getting behind schedule, and my already dilapidated memory is suffering; I’m trying to catch up, and things get further behind. Now, the eyes & hearing have joined forces & stopped me from doing things. Hey-Ho!

I’d spent nine hours updating this blog. Too many brown-outs from you know who…

INCHY: Friday 1st September 2023 – Scaevity Continues!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Many problems in getting everyday things done. They were affected by things genitourinary, with the genitourinary problems. The flow kept changing and needing attention, emptying and checking every few minutes!  The hot water went cold again – I think the maintenance was working on the system, as a lot of noise could be heard throughout the day from above, which stopped around 16:00hrs. So, no wash and shave again. I dare not risk carrying hot water about with my eyes so bad, and of course, there is always the threat of an attack by an ailment? , , , , or even a chance of bleeding, which could mean a hasty rush to the wet room with the possibility of another tumble or trip. I have to admit to being a little nervous; the views from the left eye keep changing into a sort of blurred kaleidoscope-like vision. Often giving me the impression that someone is in the room with me.

But the Surgeon did warn me of this, but it’s a disturbing facet. No doubt the reason this left eye cataract procedure is more painful & bothersome, is that the right eye had one cataract, but this little monkey had three! One Cortical and two Nuclear. Wondered why they gave them this name? Hehe!Saw the funny side of this!

Phone calls from the Anticoagulation DVT Unit, the Doctors Surgery, with the results of INR Warfarin Test at the Hospital yesterday; and a change in Warfarin dosage. Also reminded me that I had not booked in for a flu jab yet!  Which I attached to the Carers book cover. He wanted me to call at the surgery, for a fact-updating visit? After I explained my problems with getting to the surgery, he said that the nurse would call me on Monday or Tuesday next week. Forgot which!

The most welcome call from Nurse Hristina, from the DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) Anticoagulation unit at the Queens Medical Centre, and pictures of her face as she told me she would be calling on Monday or Tuesday next week to take more blood samples. Gawd she’s such a caring beauty! ♥. Damn, my being born too late! Hahaha!

There were a few occasionally throughout this Friday’s happenings. I missed the mug altogether when putting the water in the tea mug. Lucky, though, only a mess to clear up. Somehow, the hot water missed landing on my bare feet altogether. Yes, nothing short of a miracle that one! The nasty one was going into the wet room, the eye misjudged the distance from the door frame, and I now have a little swelling behind the left earhole where I earhole-butted the door. This also caused more pain in the affected eye. Aye, it’s not all good luck. Tsk! Later on, I missed the computer desk altogether with a bottle of spring water! That was another semi-harrowing and annoying event. This bottle landed right on my At least it didn’t burst open! I did however manage to add another of my to the list; when I got down to pick up the bottle, getting back up, I , and that made me smart a bit, just after it had been assaulted by the bottle. Then… I realised that , forced me into the wet room. Forgetting that I needn’t have bothered, because I’m now completely out of any of the Daktacort ointment… as I am of Germoloids and Olive Oil for the ear-holes! Things were not going very well! Of course, being the confident, Glass-Half-Full, cheerful nature that I am, this didn’t bother me at all… I laughed it off! Within an hour of starting the blogging, I realised I would be in difficulty; the eye strain was bad enough. But the flipping drops need doing four times a day, which means taking off the eye patch and mass of taping that held it in place for the drops, then starting again to get the thing in a position so I could use the good eye for computing, without putting pressure on the pad. This didn’t work out very well at all. The pad slipped repeatedly, and I spent ages getting them back on, only for a carer to come and take it off, to apply the drops. They couldn’t help me with replacing the patch and glasses, cause of the danger of them catching my eye. Understandable!
The sudden being overcome by weariness and tiredness came even soon
er today. I made an early meal, ate it and drifted off.
Woken by the teatime caller. Left the eye patch off after that, too weary to bother, as all I planned to do was sleep. Which lasted for three hours. The Carer returned a little early, not that it matters, woke me up and put the in the eye, Painkillers were issued, and the was attached to the day bag on
Then, at last, I could get some sleep without fear of being woken up… But, No! Of course not! I should’ve known this… Within seconds of dropping off into the bliss of sleep… then, the started! These ideas, thoughts and self-accusations even caught me out… Some were from 72 years ago! I’d totally forgotten about many of the waves of shame, embarrassment and mistakes I’d made, but, they were recalled by , he was in right getting-at-me mood tonight! So many things I’d sooner have regurgitated, flowed into my mind, many unfathomable and or confusing. Along with those from so long ago… Guilt Mode Engaged!

Photos & recollections, didn’t do too many, not up to much

04:20hrs: The night pouch was released. A bit darker today!

Kitchen to get the kettle on. Dank-looking morning view of the bottom field, across from the flats

But they took some moving in the first place…
I even did some cross-wording before things plopped out!

Back to make the brew, and got on the computer. Not that I could see much, and things took aeons to get done.

Mystery photo, here?

Gave up computing after doing the introduction. My vision was not good, and my concentration was even worse I think. Sat down with my feet up
Just about settled enough to get some sleep, and Carer Chris arrived.
Took his BP, excellent results. SYS114, DIA67 Pulse78 & Temp 37.8c. Showed up on the NHS result as ‘IDEAL’. Good for Chris! Me? Jealous? No!

After Chris had gone, I went back on the computer again.
As I got up, I noted the legs were better looking… I think.
Love those white tootsies! Hehehe!

Early nosh sorted out. Franks, tomatoes with added basil and sea salt. The last two bread rolls, Panini, I think they were called. Loads of air bubbles inside? Taste: 7/10.

Had to give up again on the computer; the tiredness and weariness came on early again, just as yesterday.

Soon nodded off, and a heck of a nightmare; that seemed to last a lifetime was experienced. It made no sense; one moment I was climbing up a steep hill, then falling and sliding down a hill of shingle… into a canal and as I was drowning, I found myself in an underground cave, with weird creatures chasing me all over the place, making giggling noises. They were only very little and skinny, but I was afraid of them? Then the whole scenario started again, the same them but a different canal. The next time it played in my brain, the little people were ginormous… a subtle change every time it replayed.
Can’t remember how many times I went through it. But there seemed to be no end to the storyline. It just seemed to restart the reel in my head, with subtle changes to each earlier episode I dreamed of. All without any outcome to the tales of woe. Does anyone have any ideas or input, please? Am I going bonkers? Or, should say, bonkerser?

Carer Chris arrived for his last call of the day, waking me up. Fitted the night bag, painkillers given, and eye drops done. I did the lotioning. We had a little natter, that I didn’t follow very well… not that it mattered, he was Facebook on his phone. Hahaha!

I soon nodded of again, hoping the repeat dream would return… I wish it had now; kicked off, and really ruined any chance of a good kip.

I found this photo pm the SD card. I must have missed this one off, too, from yesterday, methinks.
From last night’s ‘Heartbeat’ methinks?

Some more photos to go on tomorrow, eyes and Peripheral Neuropathy Pete, permitting. It’s nearly midnight now, better get this posted.

Have a great day!

INCHIE: Tuesday 27th June 2023 – Food Glorious Food!

A rush job again – from notes, mostly.

Up at 06:30hrs.
Nigh pouch off, emptied & sorted
Kitchen
Check on the being done-up house below.
I wonder what it’s costing them?

Refilled biscuit barrel with the 4-a-day cookies.

Two food deliveries today; I got the bags and boxes out and ready for the first (Asda) Food arrival. Iceland is due later.

CARER KARA arrived. sorted out the medications and eye drops. I think we spoke of Friday’s visit to the bank, but I’m not sure?

Asda arrived good and early.
Soda waters
Apart from having to pick out the black and green ones, these are super-tasty little nuggets of potato. I can do them in the new air-fryer (15 mins) or in the oven (45 mins).
Soya lemon desserts, Lacto-free milk, sterilised milk, and strawberry cheesecakes and of course, with the cookies being on offer, as well as the milk – a bargain?
Last year the milk was 99p. Today on offer at £1,29!
Bakery Section…
Sliced wholemeal rolls, Brown baguettes &
the limited to one Tear & Share bread on offer.
Only one packet of tear & share bread allowed. (It’s on offer!) I got all the bread ordered, a rarity, I decided to put some in the freezer for later on.
Food cupboard stocks.

The Schweppes Soda water, pink and watermelon flavoured, was still on offer, so I bought even more at this price, almost half-price! Also, I got two Asda own-brand bottles of soda; they can have some of the Lowicz raspberry juice to flavour it. Being the keen, alert, dedicated good housekeeping person that I am, I decided to make a bottle up as soon as I’d finished sorting the Asda storing of the foods… & a double, painful ensured…
I dropped a bottle of Soda, and it hit my chin, then bounced onto the , and I may have said something like “Oh, dear!”

Iceland arrived; as Carer Sam was visiting me, I was bending her ear over the appointment in injuries. Hehehe! She kindly put the barfs in the kitchen for me.
Seemed to be a lot of bags today? Have I made another cock-up?
Milk roll bread, cheap kitchen towels, apple pastries, spray oils, bread thins, and brown baguettes.
In fact, they had everything I ordered, even the ones I ordered by mistake! Hard to believe, I know!

Over the next three hours, I got a lot of updating done on CorelDraw. This was due to; the consistency, perseverance, and free-willed constitution of…
and I believe their involvement (Owning or par owning) of 18 other internet providers in Europe. And, of course, their inability to provide internet to Nottingham that does not go down several times a day; that costs me hours in redoing the work lost that could not be saved. Also causing more mistakes!
DO NOT GO NEAR THEM!
Then again; With them owning Virgin Media, O2, PC Brand, ‘3’ the UPC brand, Plusnet, and Sunrise UPC. Shares in Vodaphone, Smarty, EE & BT. With 11.9 idiots… I mean, million subscribers, where else can you go to?
They’ve got us where they want us, by the short & curly!

FOOD TIME
Ah, that was nice.
And although a terrible photo, the flaky pastry with gooey, sticky apple sauce was also okay!

I gave up on the ambidextrousness, chicanery, doublespeak, thaumaturgy, figure-shuffling, and slithery.
Tiredness, weariness and agony got to me. Head down.
The carer called and woke me up. Medicated me.

I woketh up, well pleased with the few hours kip I’d attained.
Then noticed the legs. The left one was flaming bloated, massive, the right all skinny. And, water was spouting out of both leg ulcers and the papules on the left one. Tsk!
When I moved in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner; to get to the night bag for detaching from .

The urine in the bag in the drip tray was a little too coloured, but it’s been worse lately, so no complaints.

I took another look a few minutes after sorting the bags out, and the water was still coming out of the ulcers and papules. Although more slowly than earlier.

Off to the . I didn’t get out of the room for over an hour. And that was to lug the water to refill the non-mended W.C. water tank. I had not had a shave or shower, so no cuts or nicks this morning. What delayed me this time, was the agony, of waiting for the action to start from the rear-end department! The regulation two torpedos took a long time to begin its journey. The eyes were not able to read the crossword book clues, which disappointed me a little. I couldn’t see the cobwebs or cracks on the ceiling to count! I imagine the new eye drops were the cause of this dilemma.

Cleared up the used pouch, wrapped and sealed and into the waste bag. Then I titivated the kitchenette a bit. Not a lot!

Got the computer on, downloaded the photos from this morning and last night and…
went down on me. Well, well!

I made up some drink mixers while waiting for the Smoke & Mirrors: (someone who draws attention away from often embarrassing or unpleasant figures or issues) Oligarchs at Liberty-Global to get a signal to me.

When it was the Carer. I was Gobsmacked at the time. He’s not been informed of the changes. He said he’d inform whoever was coming next time; it was not midday, but 13:30hrs or thereabouts. To get back on schedule. to give the four-hour break. The gal arrived near midday.
No problem with this at all. I just got a little confused. Which takes no effort at all nowadays. Hehehe!
The Carer, who came second, was okay about things. She’d not been told either. And she returned later and did a great job with the drops before rushing off. Hope she wasn’t too messed about; bless and thanks to her. The 1800hrs call next, back in order again. I thought we (well, they) handled these issues with efficient aplomb, as well.

Finally, I got the Saturday blog posted to WordPress.

.
Emptied the day bag.
The papules (Lymphorrhagia Leslie) and both of the ulcers (Odius-Odema) were no longer leaking fluid, well, just the odd tiny bit bubbling out now and then.

.
I got the cover on the computer swivel-chair rearranged.

Found this snap I took early this morning.

Today’s Mystery Photo?

Cor-Blimey! What a mess the feet and legs are in!
Odius-Odema and (build up bags on the feet) Lymphorrhagia Leslie are having a ball with me. Ulcers, papules, and the heels keep spewing out liquids in varying degrees. looked up the feet-fluid bags. It’s the great escape of the lymph from lymphatic vessels that have been injured. Of course, I knew that. Hehe!

I took a few snaps of the ever-darkening late afternoon.
Rain on the way, methinks?
The clouds still hold a beauty for me
Pareidolian’s Delight

The first evening Carer arrived.
Did a grand job on the eyes for me.

Back to the kitchen window as the rain started.
Naturally, I took these through the window.

Good Heavens, Little & Large again.

I’m not really hungry, may just have a pot noodle and bread roll, methinks. I’ve lost my appetite and my taste buds these last few days, seem to be on strike?
I had a pot of Sweet & Sour Noodles, with added sauce. And defrosted two bread rolls. Again… little taste came through. Glad I didn’t waste time, effort and money trying to make a ‘so-called’ favourite meal this time. Sad innit?

The last of the day caller, arrived, Richard.
He got the night pouch attached. Maxitrol Eye Drops in did the medications during the five minutes break between drops applications, then did the Optha drops. Left me with my 3-minute finger in the eye near the nose process as instructed, and got off on his rounds.
Richard said that the NHS was now using Gaviscon instead of Peptac. But, the flavour is even more vile than the Peptac was; that was a horrible taste. This new one is made with… and the thought makes me want to puke… ANISEED flavour!
Ah!… I wonder if this almost poisonous-tasting medicine, combined with the new Optha eye drops, could be what’s causing my taste buds to revolt? Hehehe!

But, the eyes are worse than ever this morning. I’m assuming they will remain the same for the two months I’m on them?
Then hopefully get the eye done that needs the cataract that was repaired removed, and lasering off. A stitch in the eye for the crack. Then start again with another cataract procedure.
Then, if I live long enough, the left eye cataract to be done.
Then, the Glaucoma (No idea what the treatment is for that, I’ll look it up later) in the left eye needs doing.
I looked it up on the NHS site:

There are several different treatments for glaucoma, including eye drops, laser treatment and surgery. The best treatment for you will depend on your circumstances. Treatment can’t reverse any loss of vision that has already occurred, but it can help stop your vision from getting any worse,
Well, that’s cheery news!

Sleep Glorious Sleep was attained within seconds of my head downing! I’m serious, I was off like a log!
UNFORTUNATELY...
I burst awake, in agony from my old foe, A pincer movement attack this time – both hands and fingers.
Hours later, I managed to nod off, but it was not worth it; it was only an hour away from when I needed to get up; So I could spend the 2 hours ablutionalisationing. No doubt with a visit being activated as well.

FED-UP!
Still, I’m not complaining really.
