Gm2purp0402:50hrs: Woke finding I had a touch of involuntary Clinomania. I must have nodded off five or six times, waking, nodding repeatedly. On the final awakening, the need for my use of the Porcelain Throne was made apparent, and a smidge of panic overcame me; with the belief that I would never make it to the bowl on time. Yet another change in circumstances, Trotsky Terence had retaken control over the innards!

The rigmarole of freeing my scarily-obesely stomached body from the recliner to the wet room was a rushed, bloody, painful and difficult excursion. (Little Inchies fungal lesion was flowing the red stuff)

WD 100.20.0 Things activated, by Trotsky Terence, I had no in part how things went, the moment I got seated. All over in seconds, but a mess like never before had to be sort and cleaned afterwards. The cistern did not cope with clearing things and had to be flushed a few times, and buckets of water added, to assist it! Cor Blimey, worra struggle!

WDP 03dWD 100.20.0 I was left with an acute stomach ache after the evacuation. But there was was no signs of it before. Grigglebogblowit! The cleaning and medicating of Little Inchies fungal lesion brought tears to my eyes! Tsk!

I hobbled to the kitchen, thinking how the feet and toes didn’t seem so bad this morning? I got the kettle on, and Dizzy Dennis paid me a visit, but no Whoopsies or Accifauxpas caused.

WD 100.20.0 I got the medications out and realised I’d not taken last night’s doses, (Well, I never, what a shock, me Forgetting something? Hehehe!) So I took them, and made a point to try and remember to take the morning ones belatedly, later on. During the ten-minutes or so that I was in the kitchen, I had to utilise the GPEB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Bucket), twice! Both were of the HLSBS (Hosepipe-Like-Short-Blasting-Splashback) style. I took the bucket with me to the computer, confident that it would be needed again soon. No doubt about it, the intestines were going to make me suffer today, with Trotsky Terence, and now Wee-Wee Willy going into overdrive!

6Sat01I sat to get the computer going, and two things registered with the grey-cell box. The feet and toes started stinging ‘after’, I’d sat down and taken my weight off of them? Secondly: The volume of the annoying mystery ‘Hum’ from outside, as so loud, I got up and checked to see if the fire brigade had an engine going outside!

6Sat04

As I stepped into the balcony pod, I heard the windows rattling, and yet there didn’t seem much wind when I opened one to take the Chestnut Walk shot, the ‘Hum’ was viciously powerful!

WD 100.20.0 Then I needed another Wee-wee! This one was a tad different. Of the STSBDWTE (Slow-To-Start-But-Didn’t-Want-To-End) variety. Again, after the release, the stomach began to sting and rumble?

I made-up the template, then made a start on this blog, thus far. Then began updating the Friday blog. Which, in between taking a variety of frequent types and colour-moded wee-wees, I got finished! Despite Shoulder-Shuddering Shirley doing her best to delay me. Naughty Shirley!

I Pinterested some photos, went on the WordPress reader, then on TFZer and Winwood Heights Facebooking. Another wee-wee, and off to get the stand-up Ablutions sorted out.

WDPC6Sat05What an absolutely cheer-making, super-duper, crackerjack, unbelievable, corking, almost bleeding, Whoopsiedangleplop and Accifauxpa-free session!

Colin Cramps kicked off as I began to get the soaking flannel out of the sink. But even this only lasted a few minutes, and he was off and gone! Smugness Mode Coming On!

WDPbbsBCleaning the teeth, I began to think that I had slipped back in time somehow, and did not have the stroke, Peripheral Neuropathy, Toothache, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley, Ane Gyna, Reflux Roger or Shaking Shaun at all!

None of these bothered me for the duration of the ablutions! Definitely a Smug-Mode Approaching!

WDPH01LThe teeth cleaning was completed without any droppings, or gum bleeding! Fair enough, the shaving did bring a few of both, but still just two knicks and three razor dropsies. The washing of the skinny limbed, whacking great flobby-bellied torso and legs as far as I could reach, produced only one minor bruise. I dropped the soap and clouted my head on the sink as I went down to retrieve it. You can’t win ’em all!

The drying off went without any bother, nothing knocked over, no Dennis Dizzies or Nicodemus’s nerve-end use loss! (Come on, I must be either dead or dreaming this!)

WDP 2Now, when it came to the medicating, I was expecting the ailments to produce painful, pestering-predicaments and perhaps the odd agonistic moment. But, No! Even Little Inchies removal of the crusted blood, produced next to no blood when the usually horrendously hurtful applicating of the Daktacort was done, there was hardly any stinging at all! I wanted to cry with joy, laugh out loud… But how can this happen? To me, with my luck? Better make the most of it, I thought!

WDP 20193AWD 100.20.0 Then, and it had to happen. Getting the PPs on, I lost my balance, went over backwards, bounced off of the door, and fell on the shower chair and Sock-Glide! I let myself get overconfident with all the none accidents happening? Getting back up, was at that time, an impossibility. The back of the head and right shoulder took most of the impact, but I soon realised I could not get to the wristlet alarm to call for help, at least for a while until I regained my equilibrium. (Is that the right word? I’ll look it up later)

However, minutes later things, well I did, felt much better, and I was glad I couldn’t get to the alarm. Calling for help and not needing it, ‘Crying-Wolf’ is not a good thing to commit. As things came together, I realised I could have reached the picker-upperer (That Jenny donated to me when I broke my other one, Tsk!), I keep it in the wet room, and from where I lay, could have used it to get the wristlet. (I’m glad I didn’t think of it earlier).

I did use it, to grab the walking stick, and in a bit of a messy Heath Robinson style, and after some faffing about, I got back up to a semi-perpendicular stance.

6Sat05aAmazingly, the miracles of this morning had not finished. For after cleaning up the chair and glide, and checking myself over, the only part of my anatomy giving me any real grief was the shoulder, and both Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna had kicked off. Could have been so much worse! The legs were fine, although the feet and toes were stinging.

I wondered for a moment, had all the ailments got together, and agreed to lay-off of me this morning, on purpose? To get me into a confident mood it which I’d leave myself open for a guaranteed Whoopsiedangleplop? Hehehe! Only kidding about thinking that. Well…

I think I will check to see if I can6Sat08 pay for, if available, a fully waterproof wristlet alarm, that I can wear when washing or showering, just in case this happens again. Off to the kitchen, and took this photograph of the beautiful sky outside. I think I’ve been lucky this morning, and there can’t be a lot of it left. The wind is terrible again, howling!

6Sat09I made a brew and remembered to do the morning medications I’d forgotten about earlier. I think the HP readings were good, considering what I’d just gone through. The thermometer worked for once, showing a 33.3° I must say the tastes nice in these mugs that Jenny gave me ♥.

6Sat11Back to the computer, Duodenal Donald calming down now.

I got an email from Iceland, telling me to check the email to see changes. So, I did. There was only the Wholemeal Deli Rolls that will be short-delivered, and I have no worry over that.

6Sat10I checked on the Amazon email. Now it tells me that the Clementine juice is expected to be delivered twixt today and Tuesday? No tracker on it, though? Suspicions aroused! But I can go to the site on Wednesday for a refund? Mmm?

6Sat12The intercom rang, luckily I was on my way for yet another wee-wee, and I heard it. T’was the Iceland delivery arriving.

I nipped to the window and took this shot of the van, I’ve no idea why, but it seemed worth it at the time?

6Sat13The chap arrived, and asked me how I put up with all the noise? Which confused me a tad. I got the bags into the kitchen. In there, I realised what he was talking about with the noise. Someone is drilling something somewhere close by. But it didn’t sound too loud to me, of course since the chap mentioned it, I hear it all the more. Hehehe!

6Sat18aThere seemed a lot of things on that order. So, I went through them and soon realised I was going to have problems with getting all the items in the freezer. And a bit of ingenuity was going to be needed if I was to get them into the available space.

I had to take some products out of their boxes, to free-up some space. The orange lollies, the quarter-pounder beefburgers, (already in the freezer), and the Whitefish fillets in crispy batter.

This was a messy and fiddly job. The worst part of it, I had to throw away a half-packet of Sweet potato fries to make enough space for the incoming food. But, I thought it was a good idea, and felt semi-proud of my resourcefulness in the cunning plan.

As you can see in the picture, the refrigerator and freezer could take no more.

There was not even room to get one more lollipop in! So I ate it! Hahaha!

In the bottom drawer, I felt the bag of Petit Pois slit as I crammed it into the corner.

Odds are, I’m going to forget this, and in a couple of days, I’ll go into this freezer and just grab at them, and have a right mess on my hands to clear up? Mind you, I might remember… nae, no chance!

I reckon the noise that’s just started again will be Herbert. It’s start-stop with long periods of grinding. I wonder what he’s making?

The next photo is one I accidentally took not knowing. Haha!

I turned my attention to the fridge items next, and there were only a few of them. Chicken thighs, that spread, got to be butter, but it’s not, pork and pickle mini-pork pies and some Richmond skinless sausage. I only ordered these, cause I’d not seen any for ages, and it’s been many years since I ate any.

Then I got the bits in the cupboards. Instant mash with cheese and chives, mint bikkies, Cheesy Cheddar biscuits, black waste bags and kitchen towels. I also ordered (apparently), a bag of ‘Wasabi Assorted Nibbles’, whatever they are.

6Sat20If anyone in the flats would like them, first come, first given. I’ll take a photo of them, so you know what they are. Hang on a tick! Here they are.

I don’t know what I meant to order, but not these. Judging by the ingredients, they might be too spicy for my tastes. Wasabi peas (40%) Whatever they are? Starch, sugar, salt, Chilli, Horseradish, Garlic, Glucose, Capsicum and many more on the packet label. I’ll hang onto them for a few days. I don’t like throwing food away, but they are not my cup of tea, I’m sure.

6Sat19I got things cleared and went to go back on the computer, I opened the balcony door, which proved to be a bad idea. The wind howled through from balcony to the kitchen; or the other way around. I thought I’d better close the kitchen windows, they were only just ajar. I had to laugh, even if I hit my poorly shoulder on the door frame, when the kitchen roll on the dispenser, hit me in the face! Har-har! Blown by the wind! Fortunately, there was not much of roll left, but the wind had unwound all of it.

And I read about people who are getting bored with their isolating? I could do with a bit of bored! Giggle-laugh!

6Sat20The injured shoulder was getting a bit more bothersome, so I made a brew, and took an extra Codeine 60mg. I’ll skip the evening one, don’t want to take too many.

I pondered over what to have for nosh later. After much differing, procrastination and faffing about, I decided on battered fish on the bread rolls, with tomatoes, a lemon mousse to follow, then maybe even, an orange sucker? By gum, I lead a good life!

6Sat21Back again top the computing. The warm williwaw winds were still howling. I shut the balcony door, but could still hear it. It must be bad for anyone with good hearing.

I tended to getting the fish cooked for the roll sarnies.

WD 100.20.0 Oh, very dearie me! Taking the tray of fish out of the oven, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down, and I dropped the tray. Boggleknappers! I pushed my body forwards, trapping the tray between my stomach and the oven… amazingly, more worried about losing the battered fish than any injury.

WD 100.20.0 ac I grabbed at the few fish lumps from the floor to retrieve them, hitting my already injured shoulder against the stove. Inspected the food, and decided it would do, and began to put the salvaged fodder on the plate… Argh! The message had belatedly got through to the brain, that I had burnt my wobbly-over-fleshed tummy! Hahaha!

Got the Germolene in action. I’ll take a photo later (I did, but not until the morning).

6Sat24WD 100.20.0 In the melee, I forgot about taking the evening med’s Klutz! I was more interested in the delightful looking feast awaiting my attentions on the plate! I had a borborygm on me. Battered Basa fish balls, and Whiting fillets in crispy batter. All I had with them was tomatoes and some white cobs.

ClementineA can of the San Benedetto, Prima Sremitura Clementina drink. What a mouthful! Haha!

I watched an old (1996) Euro football match, twixt England and Spain. It was very depressing, realising than Englan still play in the same, error-ridden style nowadays. Well, they will I hope, after the, and if the Coronavirus is beaten.

I kept nodding off, of course. And boy, did I have a thirst on me! During the match, I drank the Clementina and two bottles of made-up spring water and orange cordial. Then fetched a drink of milk from the fridge!

I did the pots. The wind was still blowing heavily, as I turned off the computer, and got settled in the second-hand, c1968, not working, broken by Zyrophobia suffering, supercilious Brother-in-law Pete, when flat-searching, finding and taking my valuables. At the same time, I was the hospital after the stroke, and the thought storms began.

7Sun04cI’d got a thin quilt over my naked, anaemic, ailment tortured, aching, phenomenally heavy and flobby-stomached body. But it had to come off, the fibre on the material was catching of the overgrown Howard Hughes-like painful toenails.

WD 100.20.0 6Sat28But thankfully, my growths are not that bad… yet! I must try again to find someone to cut the nails for me. I’ll inquire (if I can get an answer this time), at the Sherwood Health Centre on Elmswood Gardens to see if they are open for feet treatment again after the lock-down.

WD 100.20.0 I spent ages trying to get-off to kip. But eventually did… but had to keep getting up for wee-wees!

Globdangleristions!

GM L 0.0.130bl02:35hrs: Once again, I awoke, with a vagueness, an opacity of thought. Yet within a few moments, lucubrations started forming, plans laid and made, ideas considered within my grey-cells. My clinomania encouraged me to remain laid there, on the recliner. Thinking, planning, but without any logicality or precision. Which didn’t last for very long though.

I felt the cold draft coming in from the balcony door I had left open. The brain reckoning stopped. The need to escape the warm clutches of the quilt, and get up to close the door took priority. I was being sensible and taking my time in getting up, but the cool breeze, made me throw caution to the wind. I was fortunate in getting up, grabbing the four-pronged walking stick, making my way to the door and shutting it to, then needing an urgent wee-wee! All, without any toe-stubbings, dizzies or knocking over anything from the Ottoman! Smug-Mode-Adopted!

WD 0.0.0 (1) To the wet room and had a totally different style of wee-wee this morning. A first, a new style! Oh, yes! A PAVCT (Painful-And-Various-Coloured-Trickling) wee-wee! Amazing, it started off orange, then cream, and the last few trickles 5Fri02were a cloudy-grey! Crunggleisations!

WD 0.0.0 (1) I did notice the right-knee seemed to have gone out of sync, deformed a bit? But, t’ was of little concern, as there was no pain from it, apart from the Arthur Itis usual. Then I thought, are NN’s (Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters) out of actions again, not passing the nerve-ends messages to the brain, and will I get electric-shock like pains if it does belated get the information across? Tsk!

WD 0.0.0 (1) Perhaps, it could be a dirty-great giant alien worm lava, whose egg had been laid in my body, and was fighting his way out? Or a mutation of the Coronavirus? Maybe NN’s have died altogether, I have multiple broken bones, and don’t know it because the neurotransmitters are kaputt? Hahaha!

And to think, the Government is working to keep people busy so they don’t get bored being stuck at home, Hah! Never get time for a dull moment here!

Ah, my uneducated but fertile mind kicked into silly-gear: If there is a way to pass on Peripheral Neuropathy to folks, then let them have a stroke, and they will not be bothered about the virus then. They’ll have enough on their plate just getting through day-to-day? And, what am I ranting on about?

5Fri03Off to the kitchen, and got my breakfast. The BP Sys was down from yesterday, which was encouraging.

WDP 002WD 0.0.0 (1a) I was washing the mugs and mixing bowl in the sink, and got a visit from Shoulder Shuddering Shirley. Which moved my arm under the running hot water tap – the nerves were working then, cause it made me jump, and whip my arm away from the water; hitting the back of my hand on the corner of the bread bin. Broggleknockersworth!

To the computer, and made up a template. Then started to update the Thursday blog. Got the post sent off, emailed the link and went on Pinterest. Stopped to make a brew. Back to the computer, onto the comment section on WordPress. Tim Price informed me that he’s had a link talk to someone at WordPress, and they are going to force the new block editor on everyone. But there should be a way within the programme’s workings, of going back to the old editor. Ha! Me, learn how to do that?

Then I spent an inordinately long time on TFZer Facebooking, happily! Then set off to get the ablutions done.

5Fri04WD 0.0.0 (1) The need for the Porcelain Throne arrived. The evacuation was similar to the last two days ones. Start, blocked, do the crossword book, suffer the pain, appreciated it when things start again, and finish the session, with an exclamation of pain and relief!

5Fri05WD 0.0.0 (1) I did spot some new blood spots or papules on the left leg as I was crosswording. Ah, the mysterious wonders of Woodthorpe Court. The ghosts, hobgoblins, boll-weevils, aliens, gremlins, karakia-cursing entities. The materialisations, poltergeist, lemures, wairuas, kehuas, and manifestations. That permeate, pass through the pores and 5Fri06interstices of space, through the time-continuum. Usually, without rupture or displacement within the building. To cause havoc, fear and frustration, as they dislodge time itself, in their aspirations and skulduggery, to complete their given by Satan, ‘Let’s Piss-off Inchcock’ mission?

Hey-ho!

5Fri007cHowever, not-withstanding and apart from that, the ablution session was one of the best for months! One knick shaving, only five dropsies, and three of them were the min-soap tablet. No stubbed toes, not knocking anything off of the floor cabinet… no sorry, I did knock off the Daktacort cream, sorry about that inaccuracy. Olive oiled the ear-drums, Germoloided the piles, and Saccades Sandra’s drops in the eyes. Washed the spectacles, and went through the unpleasurable, delicate, always painful job, of treating Little Inchies fungal lesion

I got myself smelling half-decent, medicated things and got some clothes on. I made up two small black waste-bags and hobbled to the chute room with them.

4Thu15Back to the apartment, suddenly remembering I had some of the San Benedetto Prima Spremtura Clementina (Clementine juice) arriving today, 24x 300ml cans. I have to say, I adore the taste. Not too fizzy, not too sweet, but I find them very refreshing.

I looked at the Amazon tracker (right), but it seems like it’s going to be a late delivery, this time. It hasn’t even reached the dispatch yet, let alone out for delivery!

I suppose this means another miserable night for Inchcock! Globberations! I’ll have to not watch telly, cause I have to use the headphones, and cannot hear the Intercom or door chimes when I have them on. So, it’ll mean me staying up and trying to stay awake long enough, and I do get grumpy with myself when I am prevented from sleeping. It’s hard enough to drop off as it is. But, you can be sure tonight, I’ll nod off after staying up so many extra hours waiting for the cans to arrive. Still, serves me right for ordering them. Hahaha! Grumblegollocks!

I’ve still got a few left in the fridge if anyone fancies popping over? Tsk! Oh, I forgot, I’m not allowed visitors, cause of my High-Risk status! Clapbogsworthyness!

Ah, well, I’d better get on with doing some more graphicationalisationing then.

5Fri08WD 0.0.0 (1) Gawd, it’s going so slowly, Shoulder Shuddering Sheila, and Dizzy Dennis are the main culprits. Only got three graphics done, and I’m about to give up.

I came across some disturbing news while searching for facts for the blog. Nottingham is bucking the trend on Coronavirus and has had an increase in infection and hospitalisations.

Oh, dear!

5Fri09So late now, but I dare not nod-off, or I may miss the deliveryman. I’ll have a look at the tracker, hang on a sec…

WD 0.0.0 (1) Blimus! It’s not moving at all, over three hours ago, the tracker reads the same! Not even reached the despatch warehouse. No way it’ll get here before 20:00hrs. Gits!

I wish they’d just tell me it’s not going to make it today! But no! Muggins here has to stay up, just in case it does. No chance to listen to the TV or radio. I’m bound to nod off and not know if it has been or not! But if the dispatch is in Leeds, how can they make it tonight? I do not want or need the stuff today. Initially, they told me it would arrive twixt 18th > 20th… I may have got myself in a muddle here, I’ll have a look at the calendar.

5Fri10WD 0.0.0 (1) Well, I made a right cock-up over the dates! Brambackleshittums! Cracklepackers and Blockstooum!

According to the last eta given me, they are due next Thursday, Friday or Saturday?

I’m so confused now, but it definitely says arriving today by 8 PM on the tracker!

I’ve got to stay awake somehow, but fear it will not happen. I wonder if Amazon has made an error somehow? Or, has the lorry broke-down? Or the driver been arrested? Perhaps Aliens have landed fancying a drink?

Just had another decker at the Tracker, still not moved at all. I could spit! Why me every time? I’m not a bad or naughty boy! Hehehe! Sodwrangles!

I just went to put the kettle on, and the trees in the bottom field and along Chestnut Walk, look in danger of being uprooted! So violent was the wind!

Amazon arrived? It was to Thompsons Punjabi tea, 6 boxes! Marvellous!

5Fri13

5Fri09But most confusing. According to the Amazon email, it was the Clementine drinks that should be coming?

I did another tracker check. Obviously, the San Benedetto was not going to arrive. A mistake had been made by someone other than me for once, Amazon!

WD 0.0.0 (1) As I was putting away the tea bags in junk-room-two, Dizzy Dennis caught me out as I was stretching to reach the drawers, and over I went. Luckily, there was not enough room between the boxes that had been waiting five years to get sorted out all over the room, which broke my fall!

WD 0.0.0 (1) As I struggled to get near something solid to support me in getting back up and haul my onerous body from the floor, I could not reach the stick from where I landed. So, crawling through the rubbish to retrieve the stick… I found what I had done several searches for last week, but couldn’t find – Two packets pf Thompsons Punjana tea bags! I did feel a fool! Well, I’m stocked up for life now on the best tea bags in the world (Well, my favourites), Glengettie (Nine packs x80), Glengettie Gold (Two packs x80), and these, the best of the three, Punjana! (Eight packs x80).

5Fri11A perfect overloaded stock, suitable for a sinensophile, come tea-sommelier as me. Hehehe! But the confusion caused by all the wrong indications and dates from Amazon’s emails will probably mean I won’t live long enough to drink them all. But, I’ll do me bestest!

Got some Hickory in the beans and franks in each saucepan. There had to be something wrong with the new Hickory, and I soon found out what it was. It states clearly that a good shaking of the bottle is needed before use every time.

WD 0.0.0 (1) Well, the seal and cap on the bottle leaked when I shook it! Shame, cause it is a great tasting flavouring. It didn’t half take some getting off of my hands though. It went on the jammie bottoms and stomach too. Tsk!

5Fri14Nosh at last. Baked beans and German Franks with Hickory, a few mini-tomatoes, three small slices of bread, a lemon mousse and the Clementine drink for afters.

Taste-Rating: 9.2/10 Highly acceptable!

I got the pots soaking afterwards and settled down to a disturbing evenings rest. I wasn’t sure if the San Benedetto would or should be arriving, so I tried to stay awake a little longer…

ZZZ!

Inchcock – Thurs 21 May 2020: Intimidated by inscrutableness, insanity and indetermination. Hehehe!

00 May 21 Eve

GM 0.30.0WD 0.45.0 03:10hrs: Cor blimey, what a topsy-turvy shambolic, fragmented, state of mind I woke-up in! Thought-Storming, one second I was full of hope and confidence, another thought path, and I was down and dejected. Fears and worries floated into the grey-cells, and apprehensions took the lead. My doubts, insecurity, then self-consciousness ruled the roost. All these emotions seemed to be fulgurating, fighting for superiority over each other in my temporarily warped brain? Maybe I had been having a bad dream? I cannot remember.

WDP 3dLNot exactly like magic, but suddenly, as the need for a wee-wee arrived, a clarity of sentience and semi-lucidity returned, and the diurnal battle to get out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, not working, rickety recliner began. And I won, hands down this morning! Sanctimonious-Mode-Adopted!

There was no toe-stubbing, no dropping back into the chair, no loss-of-balance, no knocking anything off of anywhere. Saccades Sandra, Duodenal Donald, Reflux Roger, no Dennis Dizzy bother either. With a distinctive swagger of the head, I made my way to the wet room.

Please don’t think things were pain-free; they haven’t been that since the Stroke. Arthur Itis, the feet and toes, and Anne Gyna were making sure I suffered this morning. Might as well see the funny-side, Hahaha!

WD 0.45.0 As I got in the door, the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived. I thought urgently, so down on the raised plastic seat… I passed the wee-wee of an LDSSM (Long-Dribbling-Spraying-Splashing-Marathon) variety. But the evacuation from the rear, yet again back in full control Constipation Konrad, went back to the part-4Thu10release, a blockage, and just sit in agony waiting for the motion to restart! Silver-Lining-Found: The crossword book was utilised, and despite the ‘I think-I-might-burst-open pains, I got a few clues answered. When the evacuation restarted, at the behest and control of Constipation Konrad, the pinnacle-of-pain was endured. Eyaabuggerit-Gargh!

4Thu01I will have to ring the surgery to ask for advice over these repetitively, and harrowing episodes on the Throne. I got things cleaned up and medicated. New PP’s on, off to the kitchen. Silver-Lining-Found: Not so much bleeding as I had anticipated from Harold’s Haemorrhoids.

At least the plates and toes were looking less inflamed. Still, stinging, of course, and very pale again. No doubt, the Silver-Lining Found here, was the reduction in the Clopidogrel-allergy scars and lumps.

4Thu02I got a sachet of Macrogol powders ready. Took the sphygmomanometer readings: Sys 157 (a little high perhaps?) Dia 79, Pulse 71, and the temperature just showed up as ‘High’ on the not working-right, thermometer. Made brew of Glengettie tea, injected the hypo of Enoxaparin then took the medications for breakfast.

4Thu03aWhile pottering around, I made a graphic with the new donated mugs, that I named during the Porcelain Throne marathon. The old plain white one as well. Why you ask?

The answer to that; would be plain and simple bonkersness! I’m losing it again. Hehe!

4Thu03I checked the kitchen for taps left on, lights, and the stove was safe.

A few moments later, some drilling and banging started, boy, was it loud and close by! But I could not identify where it came from at that time, it felt like it from all around the flat on the same level?

I started updating the Wednesday blog, and went on the Googlemail checking something, and found an email from Jenny. Hopefully, Morrisons will allow me and have in stock, the tissues for Jenny. Got them on the list though.

4Thu13

4Thu03cI took a photo from the balcony, on the left here. At long last, I got the Wednesday post finished. Emailed the link. Pinterested some snaps. Replied to a massive list of comments (Both of them). Then onto TFZer and Winwood Facebooking. By the time I’d finished, I thought I could my hair growing again. Went on the WordPress reader section.

Then I got a reminder email, from Iceland about the priority hour for orders. So I made one up.

4Thu11WD 0.45.0WD 0.45.0A Then, I tended to my ablutioning duties. As I was cutting my gums and doing the teeth cleaning, the loud drilling noise returned, and it shook the things in the wet room, including me! I had to turn off the radio. Because the combined noise meant that if the Amazon chap arrived with the Hickory delivery or the Nurse for the blood-taking, I wouldn’t be able to hear them when they used the intercom.

Which meant my rushing the cleaning duties a little, causing a few Accifauxpas along the way. I ended up with three cuts to the gums, two nicks shaving, a tumble in the shower and several dropsies. But it could have been worse! Silver-Lining Search Result. Hahaha!

As I was drying off, ready to do the medicationalisationing, the noise stopped for a bit.

4Thu06I’ve no idea why, unless it was the heat and moisture? But, the old Heart Op scares seemed more prominent.

The pins (legs) looked a lot betterer, though. The feet and toes were still bad, I must ask Deana if she knows of any Podiatrists still working.

WD 0.45.0 I nearly dropped the camera when taking the leg shot. With having to use one hand to lift a certain appendage up so it did not show on the photo, and using the other hand to operate the Panasonic, and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down for the first time today! Unlucky? Me? Yes! But I’m not going to complain, the ailments are not too bad at all, overall.

WD 0.45.0 As I left the wet room, to get some clothes to put on, the landline rang out and flashed! Tsk! I know I’m twelve-floors up, but with the balcony door wide open, one gets the feeling that walking around naked is not a good idea! I answered the phone, and it was Sister Jane. Who, on being advised of my current clothing-not-on status, said she’d ring back later.

WDPh 01WD 0.45.0A Back to the wet room to medicate, and freshen up certain areas of my gargantuanly massive and flobby-bellied body. Put the Saccades Sandra drops in, Olive-oiled the ears, and the noise of the drilling suddenly came back on. I dropped the olive oil pot, and it broke! AS I cleaned the mess up, the drilling stopped again. Humph! Then I Phorpain gelled Arthur Itis’s knees and Craig Cramp’s wrists and as best I could get to them, the ankles.

Now fully clothed, pissed-off, and in pain from Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald, with all the bending I had to do, I skulked off to the kitchen to make a brew before Jane rang back. The drilling noises started again. So, I took some Codeine 30g, to hopefully ease the pains from the tumble in the shower, and having to get down on my knees and back up to clean the dropped olive oil.

4Thu12I got the Hickory delivery parcel, of two bottles, opened. I hope this brand is strong. The Stubbs one was so expensive. These two bottles cost me £14 quid! But this is chaper than the Stubbs, but that was good… I’m getting tired now and all confused.

4Thu07Silver Lining Search Results: But at least it was a bit of much-needed exercise, I suppose. And the noisy drilling had stopped again. Ee, by gum, worra life!

I took a picture from the kitchen window, one of the beautiful afternoon sky.

4Thu09As I had a perusal of the scene below, I spotted an ambulance on-site, on Chestnut Walk.

WD 0.45.0 Oh, dear! It as parked close toe the EXtra-Care Winwood Court as well. I just hope whatever they are here for, is not anything too serious.

WD 0.45.0 The drilling and banging noise made me jump again as it started off. Sounds like it is coming from Josie’s apartment this time? Certainly somewhere close, anyway.

The landline rang and flashed as Sister Jane rang me back as promised. We had a nice chinwag and laugh for ages. I was a little concerned, cause she didn’t tell me off until she’d been on the phone for twenty minutes. Hahaha! I’ll try to ring her tomorrow.

WD 0.45.0 Then, well into the afternoon now, at long last, eventually, I got started on this diary for today!

4Thu24I had to get some fodder sorted, very late now. Chips of some sort, and ham and tomato breas thins sandwiches sounded a good idea to me.

I soon had the food on the plate, and satiated my allotriophagy. Even though the chips were disappointingly bland, I gave this efforts 6.5/10 for a Flavour-Rating.

I remember washing the pots, and although obviously a lot of things happened afterwards, I can recall nowt until waking up in the mornings, to many signs and clues to guess at what took place.

Worra a life!

GM BrownL01:00hrs: I stirred from my short, disturbed slumber, finding myself in a perky mood. Unnatural, this was, for elegiac Inchcock.

I slowly worked through my body, assessing where I could, the state of the ailments.

The head: Saccades Sandra was not overly affecting the eye-sight. No headaches. Fair enough!

WD 50.0.0 Neck & Shoulders: The persistent of late, Shuddering Shoulder  Shirley was twitching a bit, I’m not sure if she was dying down from a nocturnal attack, or building up ready for a morning assault. A little dubious about this; hopefully, she’ll not get any worserer. The stiffness from last night in the neck was a lot easier. Silver-Lining?

WD 50.0.0 Arms-Hands-Fingers: The left-hand-side was normal. The right with its Peripheral Neuropathy and stroke side-effects were a twitching elbow. Nicodemus’s dying Neurotransmitters. Had left me with some lack of touch-sensation (I must take care when I go for a wee-wee or make the tea, Hehehe!) Anne Gyna, was giving out some mild spasmodic prodding across the chest, but nowhere near as acute as yesterday. Duodenal Donald was still asleep I think, best not to disturb him. Silver-Lining?

WD 50.0.0 The innards were mildly rumbling. Something brewing in there? Reflux Roger was at full belt from when I first woke-up. I reckon the valve is stuck open at the moment, cause he’s causing a bit of pain, which is unusual. I’m confident once I get a cuppa and bite to eat, things should improve, very acidy taste in the mouth and throat this morning.

Good news, no bleeding from Little Inchies fungal lesion. And no wet and warm feelings from the PPs, regarding Harold’s Haemorrhoids! Fantwonderfulski! Silver-Lining?

Down to the legs, and I stood up to bear the weight of my short-plump-flobby, overly-sized drooping stomached body, on the legs and feet. Argh! The souls of the plates were a lot less painful than they were yesterday morning! Goodski! Silver-Lining?

3Wed02WD 50.0.0 But, Rheumatoid Arthur Itis’s knees were the opposite, grindingly, searingly hurtful. Can’t win ’em all! The old ankle ulcer scar seems to have gotten biggerer overnight? The overgrown toenails were stinging a bit as soon as the weight got onto the legs.

I think the body overall, had a smidge more colour to it, Silver-Lining? Then again, I am colour blind.

WD 50.0.0 Thinking it was a bit nipper this Mittenwoch morning, I put on the thin dressing gown. Then realised I’d left the balcony door wide open all night, so I closed it. Seeing the view outside as I did it, I got the camera, took a shot of the pins (above), before, I took a couple of photos from the balcony.

3Wed05

3Wed06WD 50.0.0A I was so pleased to be able to get back into the balcony to take some photographs. (Thanks, to Obergruppenführer, Prima Ballerina, and Warden Deana) In my excitement, I forgot about the damned metal-spring retaining clip, that needs to be pushed to bend, and pulled to open at the same time. Of course, Nicodemus’s neurotransmitters failed at just the most inopportune moment, and I now have a tiny, but painful blood-blister on my thumb! Arglebonkangony!

I got carefully, to the wet room for a wee-wee, no demands for the Porcelain Throne yet. Had the EBSC (Energetic-But-Short-Painless-Cloudy) wee-wee, and got the kettle on. Took the medications, olive-oiled the earholes. Rubbed some Phorpain Gel on the knees, and took an extra Codeine 30g, and to the computer.

VirFail01bWD 50.0.0 Botted her up, and the first job, got a template done. Not only did I have to contend with the attentions of nasty-nerd, Nicodemus’s neurotransmitters failing, and Shuddering Shirley, the shoulder shaker, which was so frustrating, but also the Liberty-Global Virgin Media crappy service! (Who pay their I lost hours, the internet kept going down and slow repeatedly. With the ailments causing me to lose more time, in correcting and checking everything so often! Blanglebotherations!

Mike Fries is Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Liberty Global. This article on his salary, I found on Forbes site.

3Wed07

Telegraph: The boss of Virgin Media owner Liberty Global faces shareholder protests this week after receiving payment and bonuses of more than a quarter of a billion dollars since acquiring the cable operator six years ago. Mike Fries’ total remuneration last year topped $33m (£26m), nearly double the prior year, despite a 40pc slump in the company’s share price. I bet he got more than my 98p interest on his personal account last year!

And still, despite the fortune he gets, (note I didn’t say earns!) he can’t supply a block of Warden-aided apartments in Sherwood Nottingham, with even an imitation of a reliable internet service! I’m not surprised! Just look at him. He’s the appearance of a Mafiosa boss, to me? Mind you, he’s good looking. Haha!

3Wed08Note, the threatening, ‘It’s your fault’ pointing finger? The grand service I had from the then, Richard Branson owned and ran Internet service, is much lamented. It has been crippled and destroyed since Fries mob took it over. But I’m not jealous, oh, no! The saddest part is the service is still better than the one I had when I used BT (British Telecom) years earlier.

Sorry about that, I got carried away a bit there.

Things settled on the internet problems, just the odd going off-line for few seconds every now and then. Humph! I got the update finished at last. Went on the WordPress Reader section. And I made a start on this post.

Got as far as to here, and went on the TFZer Facebooking. Spent an hour and a half on it.

Stopped, put Computer Colette in sleep mode, and went off to get the Ablutions done. Still no signs of needing the Porcelain Throne?

A genuinely successful session, with few Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxpas! Yee-Ha! A handful of dropsies, no toe-stubbings and only one nick shaving, and I came across the missing tube of toothpaste (It had somehow dropped of the toilet cistern, under the WC), but I did lose, or couldn’t find the after-shave anywhere? Well pleasing!

3Wed10aI made up the box of recyclable materials, then three bags for the chute.

I used the three wheel-walker guide to carry them to the waste chute room. Dropped them down, and returned to the lift, and down to the caretakers’ room.

3Wed11I had a peep out of the small window in the link passage, that shows part of Woodthorpe Grange Park, at the rear of the building.

Then I dropped the box in the caretaker’s passageway. Had a bit of a struggle to get the door opened on my way back to the lift foyer.

3Wed012aI had a perusal of the notice boards but did not see anything new on them to be of any interest to me.

Then to the end near the main foyer door. The place was looking a bit tatty, but that’s because of the Coronavirus stopping the upgrading work.

WD 50.0.0 3Wed12 (2)Dizzy Dennis paid me a visit at this point. A bad one, but short-lived, thankfully. Conveniently placed, the wall was utilised for a second or two. Hehehe!

I remained where I was to give things time to get back to normal. Well, I say normal? Hahaha! I turned back and took a shot of the 3Wed13even gloomier looking lift lobby. I entered the main lobby area, knocking my arm against the door frame, uttered a couple of curse-words, and stood still for a few minutes, as I got the feeling that Dizzy Dennis was about to attack again. But just to make me feel a fool, he didn’t.

3Wed14WD 50.0.0 I spotted that the bottle of hand-sanitiser left on wall ledge had been stolen again! I find this disgusting. Whoever is doing it, resident or visitor. Contemptible! But I shouldn’t be surprised, even the bottles supplied at the hospitals are getting nicked! Sick! It destroys your faith in humankind!

3Wed14aWD 50.0.0 I thought for a moment that I saw a mouse in the bare brickwork in the corner of the lobby. But I must have been wrong, on looking closer there was nowhere for a mouse to go.

While I was bent looking, a dirty great-big meat fly flew out. It didn’t half make me jump! Even I had to laugh!

I poddled outside, and blow me down with a feather duster, there were the caretakers near the bin. From a distance, I bored them both rigid with as I nattered and chinwagged on. It must have been tedious enough for the poor devils, but Stuttering Stephanie must have made it worse! I can’t help it, I do love a bit of persiflage, no stopping me after going so long without a good schmooze. Haha!

3Wed15I hobble away, feeling guilty, and spotted some new colourful growth amongst the trees at the end of Chestnut Walk.

Life seemed to be returning, but with ten weeks left yet, of my hospital-enforce isolationing, the feeling was only brief. I was really feeling quite low as I returned into the flat’s foyer. Crigglebogsnot!

WD 50.0.0A Back up to the apartment. I fought my way in with the trolley-walker, taking a bit of skin off of my right knuckle, as I farted about getting the trolley in through the door. Twit!

I got the oven heating, and put a large jar of black bean sauce, with some Hickory and Balsamic vinegar added to it. I aim to get the bacon cooked and into the saucepan of beans to season the bacon with. I’m going to have some sourdough muffins with them.

I got updating this blog as far as here.

I took the cooked bacon out of the oven, added it to the pan of black bean sauce on alow light now.

WD 50.0.0 Then went on the Morrison site, to add Balsamic vinegar to the order that’s in. Well, that went well, they’ve only got some at £20 a bottle! I left it.

I went on Amazon to see what their prices were for balsamic vinegar and Hickory. Bejesus! Look at the prices for Balsamic!

3Wed15a3Wed18I investigated the Hickory costs. Always high, but I can’t find any for sale anywhere else.

This is the cheapest they had on sale. I’ve not tried it before. I just hope it’s tasty enough. Oh, dearie me, I feel I might have made a mistake here! At least it’ll be delivered tomorrow, I hope not too late. This Colgin brand works out a little less pro-rata than the other ones. I hope it proves to be as tasty and well-flavoured.

I’ll get the meal sorted out, now.

An odd-looking bowl of fodder, I must admit. Just bacon and black bean sauce, with only hickory, added. Sourdough muffins, a lemon mousse, a can of San Benedetto Clementine drink and mug of orange juice. A low-cal bar of chocolate nougat.

3Wed19

Strange as it looked, it tasted great! I made muffin sarnies of bacon and beans, regularly dunking. Devouring all of it with coenaculous relish, and degust. Mmm! A flavour rating, of a deserved 8.9/10! Took the evening medications.

I got the pots washed, and got down really early in the £300, c1968, second-hand, rickety, not-working, past-its best recliner, legs up on the swivel chair, watched some TV in between two-minute noddings-off. Nibbled some of the Branston-pickle flavoured Mini-Cheddars. I was soon in the land of nod properly.

Dreaming of certain activities, I used to be young enough and fit enough, and capable to partake in (Carole). It truly felt like it was all really taking place, happening. I was young and most contented, in rhapsody… I was most chagrined to find out it was only a phantasm!

WD 50.0.0 Both of the door chimes rang out the Dusty Springfield tune of, ♫ I only want to be with you ♫. Disappointed in finding out that the dream was not real, I bumble my way up, out of the recliner, fell back down in the chair again, landing on my haemorrhoids and feeling them hurt and bleed. Collected myself and balance, and tried again, grabbed the stick, got the jammie-bottoms on, and limped to the door, feeling the blood trickling down my the inside of my legs. (There’s no doubt about it, old age is daily, more interesting, busy and dangerous than earlier life ever was, Hehehe)

3Wed21It took an awfully long time for me to get to the door. On the floor outside the door, was a carrier bag. Some kind soul had kindly gifted me three cups (the three are on the right in this photo, the first one being my current favourite mug). Bless them, I wonder who it was? Jenny? Josie? Deana? I put the cups in the bowl after taking this snap of them.

In the morning, I’ll check to see if any emails had come in telling me whoever had delivered them. Whoever it was, Thank You Kindly! ♥

WD 50.0.0 To the wet room to clean and medicate Little Inchies fungal lesion. Back down in the rust recliner. But no chance of any sleep. After trying for ages to encourage Sweet Morpheous to visit, I got the TV on and found there was a film on, so tuned to that channel to watch it. Even when the adverts came on, there were no nod-offs. Humph!

It was gone the witching hour before sleep came. I recall seeing another film coming on at 01:00hrs, and deciding to try and watch that. I nodded-off within minutes of it starting. This being about 25hrs after first waking up. Zzzz!

00 May 19 ruth

GMWL04:55hrs: I awoke from my dream-filled stupor, and began to try and recall anything I’d nocturnally envisaged. I knew without thinking that I was underground, caves, being chased, running away from someone… several people, they were shooting arrows at me… but no more recollections were gleaned. I do hate it when this happens!

2Tue01WD 84.0.84 As I rose from the rickety, second-hand, c1968, uncomfortable, none-operational, recliner, things seemed to be going well. Until it came to putting down my feet, and standing up, with the massively-stomach-burdened part of the body, falling down with a boing-boinging motion, adding all that weight on the pins! The smarting from under the feet! Sheer pain flowed back up to the brain. Again! Argh-gaggle-strain!

The decision was made, with some degree of determination for me, that care must be taken, whatever happens, that may distract me, not to have any toe stubbings today. I’m not sure I could cope easily with another one at the moment.

The now hemerine need (for the last four days, anyway), for a wee-wee and the Porcelain Throne arrived together, and suddenly. So, I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick and tentatively made my way to the wet room. No rush this time, despite the sensation I could feel that Trotsky Terence was brewing things up.

WD 84.0.84 Oh, dearie me! An unbelievable evacuation. Despite things being so sloppy-joe and messy, things were over swiftly, and I found myself sitting there, waiting for more movement, as in the last two mornings, but no! It had all cleared in a flash, a painful flash mind. Which was perhaps the messiest release in months. The cleaning up afterwards took yonks! And although both Harold’s Haemorrhoids and Little Inchies fungal lesion had both bled. Silver-Lining-search results: It was only a minute, a nanoscopic amount, from both front and rear departments. Rare-Smug-Mode-Engaged!

I had a medicationalisationing session. Olive-oiled the era-holes. Phorpain-gelled the Arthur Itis knees, the shoulders I could reach to, knees and wrist, Saccades Eye-Drops in. Then tried to apply some pain-gel to the feet, using the picker-upperer, with ointment on a kitchen towel.

WD 84.0.84 But this was a total painful failure. As Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters chose to fail at just the wrong time! Farcical! I ended up with gel wasted, all over various unintended parts of my torso, the carpet, WC, and the floor. I was displeased at my efforts to gel the feet. It took me, Gawd knows how long to clean everything up afterwards. Which, with all the bending, getting down and back up again, starting Arthur Itis, Shuddering Shoulder Shirly and Anne Gyna going!

WD 84.0.84 I pressed on though and got the place looking betterer. As I departed to go to the kitchen for some medications and pain killers, Dizzy Dennis had a go at me! Silver-Lining-search results: Erm, er… The fungal lesion had not started bleeding again, Saccades Sandra had slowed down, and Back-Pain-Brenda had not kicked off with all the bending.

By the time I’d taken the meds, and got the kettle on, it felt like I’d been up for hours? The morning was now light. I took two photographs of the beautiful view. The sky with wonderful clouds. In fact, I did a bit of nephelococcygia searching, but without any success.

2Tue06

Then to the blind shot down below, of Chestnut Walk. It’s difficult taking photographs nowadays. Apart from the Peripheral Neuropathy and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, that is. With the new thick-framed, light and view-blocking windows, and the new design. That makes it impossible for me to see what I’m photographing below. The only thing I can do is to fetch the step ladders and dangerously risk my life and limb climbing up to see out. Not today, though. I’m not feeling steady enough to risk it. Worra life!

My few pleasures like photographing, are stymied now that the balcony door lock is stuck and will not open, to give me safe access. Also, my little toolbox is out there in my three-wheeler trolly, so they are unreachable too! Gawd, worra life! I’m gerrin’ down again! Come on Inchy, pull yerself together!

VirF 87.0.87I got through to the computer in Junk-Room-Mark 11, with a degree of determination to get on with updating of the Monday blog (Better late than never!) Guess what?

Yes, the ydid it again, just like yesterday! I imagine that with the lock-down and so many people working from home. With all the quomodocunquizing companies like FB and Zoom advertising their Conferencing platforms on TV. I suppose the the weakest signalled Internet, Liberty-Global Internet Media, is bound to struggle. Prittleworthycrap!

When the signal returned, I got on with most haste, doing a new template, then updating the Mopnday blog. All finished, I emailed the links. Pinterested a few shots, then went on the WordPress Reader. Made a mug of tea, and onto Facebooking, for many hours. Did some comments, then started this post going.

The Amazon delivery is due today. The wind-up torch, to replace the one I lost. I know, I know, schlemiel!

WD 84.0.84 Then I went on CorelDraw, to make up some advance graphics for the this blog. Got a few done, but Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley and Unbalanced Herbert both kicked off.

Poledancing Champion, Hauptbereitschaftsleiteress Warden Deana phoned top do a check see I was alright, I mentioned the Balcony door lock, and she kindly said she’d be up shortly to have a look at it. I thanked her and the ngot some trousers on, well, I thought I ought to. Hahaha!

Shortly she arrived and came in to see us, and had a look at the door. And three minutes later, it was opened. (Didn’t-half make me feel a Shmendrick!) But it is broken, she said. We’ll ask for maintenance after the lock-down has finished. (About 2025 we think!) I mentioned.

On her way out, a parcel and letter arrived. The letter I opened straight away in case it needed telephone response. The print was to small for me to read, so Dean read it. T’was the Dentist cancelling Wednesday’s appointment.Which was a good thing, (apart from the toothache, like), cause I am still in lock-down by the hospital and Doctor, for ten more weeks, yet. Tsk!  I thanked Deana and she shot offski.

2Tue07The parcel, was the wind-up torch, from Amazon.

I tried out the door on the balcony and left it open, I’m not risking locking it ever again.

I went out and took some photographs of the aftrernoon scene. Plenty of folks about for once.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

2Tue09I checked on the mushrooms cooking in the crock-pot, the need a little longer yet. I had a check on the latest Coronavius figures from the internet. For some reason, as I did so, hunger grabbed me.

2Tue12

It’s still not perfect is it? Still, a slow down I think?

I decided to get the nosh prepped and served up. But needed a visit to the wet room first, for a wee-wee. They have slowed down today.

WD 84.0.84A Well, I might have known or guessed. II had another Dizzy Dennis visit en route, lost the balance a smidge, enough to give my head a klunk on the door frame edge. I did swear!

The wee-wee was still of the forcefull, ‘not wanting to end’ variety. But with a colour change, almost grey now? Not as pretty as the deep orange!’

2Tue34I went to the kitchen to get the meal done. The Taste-Rating was 7/10.

Got the pots washed, and settled into the recliner, and Dizzy Dennis returned with a vengeance.

Fracture recollections from here on in. But I woke up at 01:00hrs, and feeling perky, too?

Inchcock Today – Sunday 17th May 2020: Worran odd day!

May17

2020 ttttMay17

Sunday 17th May 2020

Turkish: 17 Mayıs 2020 Pazar

00 May 17

GM May c02:25hrs: I woke up in a calmish, passive, almost perky mood… but as soon as I tried to move my Goliathly-stomached-sized body; Hoo! The pain from the knees (Arthur Itis), the feet and toes, (Previously stubbed and overgrown nails) made me wince, grimace and feel a bit pathetically self-pitying for myself!

As the brain engaged and joined me, my intentions were to rise from the c1968 recliner, check on the status of the legs and feet, and if okay, to try unlocking the balcony door again. (Why when I’ve failed on at least fifteen attempts! Huh!) But the plans were scuppered when the need for a wee-wee came out of the blue and rather urgently.

No EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket) was in sight, so obviously I’d had no summonings for a Wee-wee overnight. So, off to the wet room, realising the time en route, then understood why I’d not required a nocturnal wee-wee, I’d only had four hours head-down time.

WD 100.20.0 What a wee-wee it was! A BOSASA (Blasting Out-Spraying-and-Stopping-Abruptly), mode. Another good start to the day. It took me ages to wipe the over-spray, and mop the floor! Knerlaisations!

WD 100.20.0 Had a wash, changed the PP’s and as I was going to the kitchen, I had to double-back, for a Porcelain Throning Session. That came on a bit sudden as well. If I had got any jammie bottoms on, I wouldn’t have made it in time. As it was, I ripped the new PP’s in my haste to gerrum-off! (Hahaha!)

WD 100.20.0 Well, I should have guessed really, but dare not take the chance: Constipation Konrad, allowed things to move along, and then stopped the works part-way, as if he was taking a rest, then started ages later again, in the slowest, most pain-causing manner possible! This has happened on the first Throne visit for three days now. Oh dearie me, it was worse this time…

WD 100.20.0 The blood had flowed from Harold’s Haemorrhoids in imitation tidal-wave style! I used up the tube of Germoloid and had to start on the new one that Jenny had got for me from Sainsbury’s.

By the time I’d got rewashed, freshened, put the PPs in the sharps box, the feet and toes were giving me, even more, bother, Gawd, they were in a nasty mood!

7Sun03a

I was having to talk myself into not losing it, what a start to the day!

I took the medications, poured a glass of watery skimmed milk (Eurgh!), and got on the computer. I needed to make a template for today first. Then got on with updating Saturday’s blog. Sent the Email links. Went on the WP Reader. Then some TFZer and Winthorpe Heights Facebooking.

I went to make a brew and was so careful in taking some photos of the sky, cause the multi-shaded colouring was disappearing as it got lighter. I thought I’d captured some decent shots, to say I was in a rush. Smugly, I got to the computer to download the pictures.

WD 100.20.0 Guess what? I bet you half half-guessed already. I’d left the SD card in the computer! Grobognangles!

I might have lost it and gone out on the balcony, opened the windows and screamed with frustration – but of course, the balcony door lock is broken and not letting me out! Talk about insults to injuries!

WDP 03dI got another mug of the insipid, watery skimmed milk, and with great, genuine intentions of not letting it get to me, I made a start on this post.

WD 100.20.0 Grogglesworth!

Virg D brown2

I gave up and got the things ready that were needed for Josie’s meal. By the by, there have been no signs of any wee-weeing for ages now? Just thought I’d mention it, like.

WD 100.20.0 Tried the internet again, and things seemed to be working now. I did a check on the Morrison order I had in, a message came up, that the card delivery pass details were not recognised. Yet the same card paid for the last delivery without any bother. I re-set the details. But, I’m always suspicious of things like this. Also, I’m honestly pee’d off with things going wrong today! Checked it a little later, and they have taken-off the £4 delivery charge.I added some bits to it. It’s due Tuesday 26th May. twixt 08:30>09:30hrs. At least, I hope its May, I’ll check it again.

6Sat01WD 100.20.0 I set to getting the ablutions sorted. Unless it’s my eyesight, Saccades Sandra playing me up, or my imagination, I don’t know, but the pins (legs), certainly looked like they were putting some flesh back on? I wish some blood would start flowing again, though! Hahaha!

WD 100.20.0 I thought yesterdays dropsies were a new record, but his mornings beat them! Those I can recall, cause I had a Dizy Dennis visit when I was showering. Bleach, toothbrush (x2), toothpaste (x2), razors (x4), soap, shower gel (x3), shower-head, Germoloid, Coboterol and Savlon tubes, towel, deodorant spray (2), and After-shave.

WD 100.20.0 Knock overs; Top of the floor cabinet, sock-glide (when moving it, I don’t use it at the moment, until I can get the toes fangs cut).

WD 100.20.0 Shaving cuts (3), gums, teeth and decent bruise from hitting the grab bar when I had the dizzy in the shower.

Silver-Lining-Search Results: But at least No toe-stubbing, Little Inchies fungal lesion no bleeding. Although Harold’s Haemorrhoids did a bit.

Got on with some graphicalisationing on CorelDraw. Then took some bits down to Jenny’s. I have utter faith in her handing them out to those in need, not greed.

7Sun04cGot Josie’s nosh served up. Smoked haddock, Tuna mixed with Bacon Mayonaisse, garden peas, tomatoes, silverskin onions, and gherkins. A Croatian Granny Smith Apple, mint Yo-yo’s, a limoncello dessert, with a can of G&T. Josie looked a little guilty at accepting it today and wanted to give me something for doing it. Silly sausage! I told her as long as you are happy and like it, give me a smile now and then, that’s all I need!

WD 100.20.0 Putting the photographs on here, I realised that somehow I’d altered the still-pic sizing on the Panasonic, but when it came to trying to change it, I’d forgotten how to do it. I went on the internet and read the instructions. Clear as mud to me. I tried now and then to change it again, but, no luck yet. Hahahaha! “No luck yet?”

Tim Price has been in form with his quips this week by the way. His last three gems had me in tucks! 1) “The upshot of getting big slippers is they shouldn’t bother your Howard Hughes toenails, at least for the time being.” And, 2) “Your toenails are looking nice and gnarly. Like monsters feet, those bad dreams are made of. Your fingers cramp and contort up nice and gnarly, also. You are like a gnarly contortionist of sorts”. Then, 3) “Have I mentioned Cream’s song “Born Under a Bad Sign”? It has a line “If it wasn’t for 7Sun04abad luck, I wouldn’t have no luck at all! That’s you!” He does come out with ’em! Hehe!

I tried to reset the still-pic size again on the camera. And it looks like it’s gone and reset back to the size I like best. (On the right)

WD 100.20.0 Then, as I was 7Sun05returning the SD card, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failed me, and I had a kerfuffle almost juggling with the camera as it bounced up and managed to catch it. Still, I’d hit some control buttons doing the faffling to stop the hand-shaking and save the camera from hitting the deck. So, I took another picture with crossed fingers. Cragwangles! It’s gone back to the old setting now! I was getting all uptight 7Sun08 (2)with myself again! I carefully replaced the car in the camera and took yet another shot.

Aha! Milagro! I don’t know exactly how I did it, but I must remember 16:9 is the size I need in future! Just in case Nicodemus, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley, Dizzy Dennis, Shaking Shaun, or the right legs involuntary drop-something and have a Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, has me in a quandary when I’m using the camera again.

Jenny sent an email, offering to order me some stuff if I am in need on her next home delivery, bless her cotton socks.

Dizzy Dennis, returned. So I got the beefburgers in the oven. Cobs, peas and potatoes all to hand for when the burgers were done. Turned the computer off, and took the evening medications. This is going to be a bad do from Dennis. I’m not sure why I know this.

I’ll get the nosh while its safer to do so. Feeling bit sweaty now too, but can’t open the balcony door, so I stripped of, dangerous when cooking.

7Sun12aFar earlier than usual in the day, I got the meal prepped and served up. Took the meds with it. A reet-treat this one was. A splash of Hoisin sauce on each half a potato.

The only thing that was not up to scratch, surprisingly, was the Iceland beefburgers. They terribly fatty compared to the ones I’ve had before? Hey-ho, it still got a 9/10 from me!

I went to wash the pots, and the sun was still blazing away. There were so many young sun-bathers in the bottom field today, couples strolling hand in hand, dogs walking their owners and I wanted to take some photos of them; but with no access to the balcony, for taking pictures, or escaping in the event of a fire, was impossible. Yet again, I tried to unlock the door, but no chance. Grumbleworthiness in the extreme!

So I took some pictures of the beautiful sky instead.

Sleep would not come again. Not even any nod-offs at the TVs commercial breaks. But for once, this suited me. For on late for me, was The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly film. Not seen this for years, and I looked forward to it.

I made sure a bottle of flavoured spring water was made up, a few bags of Cheesy curls, and the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket [Which wasn’t needed once!]), were all to hand, boy, I was going to enjoy this movie…

WD 100.20.0 I nodded off at the first set of adverts! Waking up as the end credits were rolling down the screen. Spittlisations!

GM2green0301:10hrs: Worryingly, I woke with the urgent requirement for a wee-wee, again. I hastened to painfully remove my ponderosity of an over-stomached body from the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety, rusty, filthy, not-operational recliner. Grabbed the four-pronged walking stick, and limped over to the well-used EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket). The wee-wee was back to the FFFONEE (Forceful-Furious-Fast-Orange-Never-Ending) style, again.

6Sat01Off to the wet room, to empty, clean and sanitise the bucket. And, just like yesterday morning, the Porcelain Throne had to be utilised. The evacuation was identical as well, Constipation Konrad in full charge of the flow, stop stuck, paining, and started again. Silver-Lining-Found: No bleeding.

The legs seem to be getting a little fat (or water retention) back on them. They looked very cadaverous, exsanguinated. The odd red patch on top of the right foot is still there, and now it is itching a bit and hurts when I catch it against the slippers or scratch it with my left foot. Hmm?

Washed and off to the kitchen. I was feeling a little vague this morning, don’t know why. But I did remember the Iceland order is coming today. This gave me some impetus to get the updating done, and any graphic work I can, before 07:00hrs. Giving me time to get the ablutions done before the start time for the ETA of the food order, 08:00 > 10:00hrs.

WDP01cWD 0.50.0 Having made my mind up to put in the maximum effort, I turned to get the stick, and I stubbed my toe against the waste box corner. I just don’t how I resisted yelling out. But a lot of wincing and grimacing, accompanied with a few silent curses, sufficed, this time.

The hobble to the computer, it probably took a record time to get there. Crickey, the feet and toes are wickedly painful now!

6Sat10Made a search for the latest Nottingham and Country Coronavirus figures. Oh, dear! A discrepancy, I think that the blue-writing is for a later date or time?

I pressed on with the updating of the Friday blog, which didn’t need a lot of work on it, and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were being kind to me. I got it completed and put some photos on Pinterest. Then, I emailed the link. Onto the WordPress reader. A short go on TFZer Facebooking. Then onto the WordPress comments.

WD 0.50.0 I got a couple of graphics done. Then it was time for my ablutionalisationing duties. Off to the wet room… the mobile phone rang, so I returned to investigate. It was a message, from Iceland, telling me of the delivery being on time twixt 08:00 > 10:00hrs, and to look at their email they’d sent, for details of the changes to the order. So, I took the computer out of sleep mode and a look!

Not bad at all, just two unavailables, Pork & Pickle Pork Pies (which ill do me nop harm to miss, weight-wise, anyway. And some cans of pop, no problem either). Put the computer back in sleep mode, and began to hobble to the wet room.

WD 0.50.0 The mobile rang again? Back into the junk room mark-2, to answer it. Iceland again, informing me that the order was ahead of schedule and should arrive twixt 8:00 and 08:30hrs. This meant I needed to get a move on with the abluting. I decided to have a stand-up wash instead of a shower, to save some time.

WD 0.50.0 But, and however, the hurrying of the shave, teggies, wash, and brush-up proved to be injurious to one’s body and frame-of-mind! Cragknackles!

WD 0.50.0 There were a few things, there must have been, that I didn’t drop or knock over. I amassed several shaving cuts, three in the neck shaving. The teeth and gums were bleeding. The second time I dropped the toothbrush, I gave the right knee a crude, clunking thud on the toilet bowl as I bent to retrieve it. Double Cragknackles!

Silver-Ling Search Results: At least there were no toe-stubbings, and the floor cabinet top avoided my Dizzy Dennis enforced swaying and grabbing the wall, without much getting knocked off. Just the alarm wristlet and a tube of Daktacort cream.

WD 0.50.0 As I was dried and getting fragranced and dressed, the Mobile Phone chirped again. With not using the shower, I’d left the door open, else I would not have heard it at all with the shower noise going.

WD 0.50.0 I knocked over the clothes-airer on my way to the mobile, swore, and pressed on to get the phone. It was the Iceland delivery man, the keypad on the lobby door intercom, was not letting him ring me. So, Told him I’d nip down and let him in.

WDP 03eWD 0.50.0a In my haste, I turned rather quickly and had a little dizzy spell. Resulting in a toe-stubbing against the Ottoman! But it didn’t bother me in the slightest, I just carried on… No, nope! I can’t lie, it hurt that much, this time I could not prevent myself swearing and blaspheming out loud for a few seconds! I hope that no one heard me! Got the four-pronged walking stick and made my way, in cripple-fashion, and muttering to myself, down to the front doors.

As the elevator got to the ground floor, the Iceland bloke was stood there with the six bags for delivery. I have now to admit, that I never thought about the only one in a lift at any time ruling, too late I remembered as we on the way up to 6Sat04the twelfth floor and my flat. Not turning out to be one of my best days, is it?

WD 0.50.0 The chap put the bags through the door, as I stood back out of his way to distance us, and banged my bottom on the four-wheeled trolley box! Luckily, the toes were hurting me so much at the time, so I didn’t feel too much pain in the bum… until I sat down later! Gramshackle-Globberisations!

The poor chap had only just caught up with his round as well. Now, thanks to the Intercom failure, he was all behind again. I lipped him a can of G&T, to thank him and try to cheer him up a bit. He’s a decent sort of chap.

I got the bags sorted out. Not such a big order this week.

6Sat05

Got things put away. Only two items for the freezer, a 4oz beef boil-in-the-bag, and some of the rather delightful Iceland quarter pounder (4oz) beefburgers.

6Sat03I got the black bags taken to the waste chute, and Oh, boy, were the feet humming and hurting. Especially the toes!

Coming back after depositing the bags down the chute, I stopped for a moment for the feet to rest a tad. No lights in the lift lobby. I thought they had been put on a timer?

WD 0.50.0 I tried again to open the balcony door lock. No luck!

WD 0.50.0 I went to get a drink of spring water, I’m trying to cut down on the amount of tea that I guzzle, and found I’d left the hot water tap running in the kitchen! Stone cold now! There are times when I really think I’m losing it! This is one of them. I did not have the hearing aids in, cause I’m so low on the batteries now. So obviously, I wouldn’t have heard the water running. Grangleturdsmanship, at its finest!

No chance of any hot water now, I think the night-rate or whatever they call it, comes on around 17:00hrs. Wrangledollops!

6Sat05aI got some of the spuds delivered in the crock-pot, sea salt and drop of vinegar to season them. Can you see the can of baked beans and tomatoes sent in my food parcel, behind the slow-cooker? 840g!

They are too big for me to use the new electric can opener on them, and certainly not the hand one either. The ailments will not allow me to risk holding onto the can while it works, so many things can and do go apeshit all the time, that can be dangerous, and no warnings before they play up. Those that are likely to catch me out, are; Shuddering Shoulder Shirley, Dizzy Dennis, Saccades Sandra, Shaking Shaun, Neuropathy Pete, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters dying, and the right legs involuntary drop-something and have a Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance; this often has me over or in a heap on the floor. Still, it stops me gerrin’ bored if nowt else!

Back on the computer, graphicalisationing on CorelDraw. But mental fatigue got to me, and I gave up early in the day and got the nosh prepared.

6Sat28A steak and kidney pie, sliced the potatoes, a few silverskin onions, and far too many petit-pois. (But I ate them, and everything else on the tray!) I made some rich gravy to go on it. Two Marmite rice cakes, and a lemon mousse to follow. Lovely old style meal. Taste-Table; 9/10.

I got the pots washed (hot water back on! Hurrah!), and literally flaked out in the rickety recliner. No chance of any sleep, cause I hadn’t done anything to tire myself enough. I just felt so weary, not tired, drained emotionally, perhaps. Light nights back again, that doesn’t help in getting to sleep.

6Sat24Got the TV on. I wasn’t really watching it though, but sometimes it helps me fall to kip, but not tonight.

This photo of the feet and toes, makes them look in good condition? But they were giving me some bother. Many wee-wees were needed over the hours spent in search of sleep. Every time I got up on the feet, it was so much more painful than it has been of late.

Amazingly, Colin Cramps didn’t visit the legs or feet tonight – amazing! Mind you, he did get some exercise on the hands and fingers.

I can’t remember when I actually nodded off, but I recall starting to watch an old match of the day on BBC 1, which started at 23:00hrs. Typical, something comes on I wanted to view, and I fell asleep! Gruffingleisations!

Inchcockski – Tue 12 May 2020: Abumble grump cum, confusionabilities, glunk! Tired? Me?

Tuesday 12th May 2020

Welsh: Dydd Mawrth 12fed Mai 2020

00 May 12

03:45hrs: I stirred, again with the thoughts of how I am going to get the door to the balcony open. Then the mind moved morosely on, to thoughts of all the bother I am causing over the prescription volunteers to collect them from the chemist, for me. Then the toenails twinged without my moving my feet, and how can I get them cut, to over the thoughts. But not for long! The sudden and urgent need arrived, for a wee-wee! (Which seemed to set the trend for the day. Tsk!)

WD 0.50.0 I manipulated my way out of the £300, second-hand, rickety, none-working, c1968, recliner and caught my balance. (I did give out a silent ‘Argh! when I got my weight onto the poor overgrown toenails, Haha!) But this did not delay my wobbling-hobble in haste, to the wet room. But Dizzy Dennis pulled me up en route, and I needed a couple of stops, to keep my balance.

By the time I arrived the Porcelain Throne was also needed. The principal evacuation was again painful, but happily of short duration. The wee-wee was still taking place when the major evacuation had finished. An FFFONEE (Forceful-Furious-Fast-Orange-Never-Ending) variety. Steam emitted from the pan as I stood up? No idea which of the evacuations it came from, though. Hehehe!

I got the cleaning and medicationing of areas in need done, and off to the kitchen.

WD 0.50.02Tue01 I got the impression that I may have been doing some Nocturnal somnambulationing! As I took this shot going into the kitchen, so many things were not in their usual places, and the washed long-sleeved shirts, had been moved about on their hangers?

I scrapped together an assortment of tablets which I thought would not be too harmful to me, there are now no tablets left to pick from at all from the pod ones. The other bits I found in the drawer, were not identifiable, so I put them in the yellow bin. I must remember to ask the blood-nurse if she can take the box with her for proper disposal.

WD 0.50.0a I made a welcome mug of Glengettie Gold tea, and off to the computer. Dozzt Dennis had been lingering since I used the Throne, and he gave me momentary visit again. I caught my shoulder against the door frame and spilt some of the hot tea down my volumingargantuan-flabby stomach and down the right leg.

But, circumstances limited the pain from both the knock and the tea! You see, when the liquid hit the leg, by good fortune, it was the right leg, and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were not working, and did not send the message of the Accifauxpas to the brain. So, no pain! Silver-lining, you see?

WD 0.50.0 But, on the WDP01cnot-so-bright side, my left foot did hit the frame as well, and the message of agony in the toes was definitely sent! Arumsquatulistions, it hurt like hell! It did for hours! Humph!

I got on with updating the Monday blog and got it done it in record time. Thanks mainly, to Dizzy Dennis taking a break, and Nicodemus apparently affecting only the leg this morning, showing no interest in the right arm or hand. I’m not moaning about the confusion over this, just damned joyously glad about it!

Sent the email link off, and went on the WordPress reader section. Replied to the comments. And onto TFZer Facebooking for an hour or more.

I had a look at the Coronavirus figures for Nottinghamshire. Finding this comment from Public Health England:

2Tue09Figures have shown the total amount of people across the county who have tested positive for coronavirus. As of Monday, May 11, there are now 569 confirmed cases in the city boundary and 1,224 across the wider county. 2Tue08aIt comes after Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust (NUH), which runs Queen’s Medical Centre and Nottingham City Hospital, confirmed two more coronavirus patients have died. Medical director Dr Keith Girling said the patients were aged 46 and 97.

I’m not sure if reducing the isolation yet, is a good idea. Remember the 1918 flu epidemic. But, it must be costing the country an absolute fortune?

I hand-washed a long-sleeve shirt and left it in the bowl in fabric softener. Then off to get the ablutions sorted.

WD 0.50.0 This didn’t go as well as the last two days, mind. The dropsies were far too many to mention, I don’t have enough bandwidth! Hehe! But the bleeding from Little Inchies fungal lesion was fresh, thus, much less painful and hassle to clean up and medicate. Harold’s Haemorrhoids were no leaking at all. The end dropsies got a bit farcical, Germolid and Germole tubes, olive oil bottle, body spray and fresher cans went as well. The deodorant pot, bit-the-dust three times! An2Tue07d to bring a smile to my face, I’ll mention that the sock-glide was not utilised again. I’m not looking forward to having to wear socks again!

Dizzy Dennis started of again, but not until the ablutionisationing was all done, and I was dressed. Kind of him! I then washed the bath towel and hung it to dry, with the long-sleeved t-shirt above the sink. I must remember to add some fabric softener to the Morrison order later on. But, will I remember to?

Then I made-up some wast2Tue02e bags and a recycling box, and got them in and on the three-wheeled walker, ready to take down to chute and bin. I used the box that the headphones came in for the recycling stuff to go in.

I’ve not been mentioning it, but the wee-weeing had continued so frequently (all of the FFFONEE (Forceful-Furious-Fast-Orange-Never-Ending) mode. The orangeness is a shred con2Tue03cerning. To save time; unless there is a change of circumstances or variety, I’ll try to avoid the urge of doing so.

I got the buggy out of the door into the flat’s lobby without too much difficulty. Apart from the pain from the toes, Grumph!

As I opened the lobby door, I was blinded by the sunshine coming through the lift-lobby window. I left the trolley holding the door open and tried my bestest to take a picture of the reflecting sunlight view. But, after trying two or four attempts at getting a shot looking anything like the naked eye saw it, this was the best I could come up with. Shame!

I got myself in a bit of a pickle trying to get the carrier-walker to go through the door, lost my balance a little, and ended up back further inside the flats lobby. Hahaha! If it wasn’t 2Tue04so painful, I could have laughed out loud at myself.

I hobbled along and getting into the waste-chute room was not a lot easier. But I did it carefully, without any Accifauxpas. You can see in this photo, just how small they have made the chute we have to use. This is because of 2Tue05some tenants squashing big load of stuff down, and blocking the shaft, repeatedly. They still do it, of course.

I got in the lift cage, and down to the ground floor with the box of recyclables for the caretaker’s room bin.

Stephen was there with another chap, and I was in my element. They could not stop me, although Stutteringly Stephany affected. I admit, chatting away, joking and smiling. By heck, I’ve missed the nattering, blathering, and small-talk, since the lock-down started. I tend to get a little excited when I get the opportunity for soliloquising, or kibitzing, nowadays. Even with the stuttering, I got a few laughs… although, perhaps it might have been because of my stuttering! Hahaha!

2Tue06Said my farewells, (I swear I could see relief come over their faces, Tsk!) and made my way back up in the elevator to the flat, a tad sad at leaving the human contact behind.

I’d not been in and back on the computer for long, and the landline flashed and rang forth.

It was the Vampire Nurse, come to take my blood. Vanessa, the new girl. While she took the blood, I mentioned the none-opening balcony door. Bless her, she had a go at it for me. But no luck. (No luck – that’s something that follows me everywhere lately!)

Another spell on the computer (Between wee-weeing) of about ten minutes and the landline rang and flashed.

It was Dr Vindla. The first time that she’d ever rung me! She wanted to know I was alright for food and prescriptions. I stuttering told her about the prescriptions having to be fetched be volunteers for me. Explained I was having food delivered online. I thought I’d mention the feet causing me some anguish with the leg ulcer returning and the long toenails, causing me to have a few falls recently (which is true). I was told it’s the same for everybody. I almost apologised for mention it. Still, it was nice to stutter to someone. I’ve done well nattering-wise today. Steve and Paul. Then Doctor. Things are looking up.

WD 0.50.0 Then back to the computing, loaded my Inchcock-made list of words to use, and found the Notepad page, was mysteriously, ‘Not Found’? I thought about crying. Instead, after trying to find out where it had gone, and failing to, I got on with creating another one from scratch. I spent hours and was not getting very far with it.

2Tue11Then the intercom sounded. It was volunteer helper Sarah, who had fetched my prescriptions for me. This is so kind and helpful. I got to open the door before she got up to the flat, and found a parcel laying there on the floor?

I moved the bubble wrap bag into the front room. Then got back to the door as the Lady Sarah arrived. She said who she was, and dropped the bag on the floor, and wished me good luck. I made a point of thanking her with Agusto. I didn’t know if she’s be offended if I offered a G & T in thanks. But she was off with more to delivery to others in a flash. Genuine Angel Mark Two today! Thank you, Sarah!

2Tue13l Got the bag of prescription into the kitchen. There was no Duodenal Donald medicine in it, but I had some, so this might be the month when they skip it, no fretting. I’m afraid they are using the blue & white pods again for the daily dose trays. Just like the last time. The tablets are sticking to the inside of the plastic, with the static electricity used to seal them. I’ll have to take proper care when getting them out, or else it will be like two months ago when the smaller tablets had got stuck underneath the top sheet and I couldn’t get at them without making a decoration of tablets on the kitchen floor.

2Tue12The Amazon parcel was the second reserve headphones I’d ordered. Nearly twice the cost of the ones I got yesterday. Apart from having a volume control on these ones, they are exactly the same! But I’m not complaining about the tablets or headphones at all. I just appreciate having the prescriptions delivered, by a caring helper. And the headphones will be all ready for the next time when I fall one, sit on, drop and break, or lose the current headset. Hahaha!

I got some potatoes mixed with cheese and got them in the oven to cook. I’ll finish on the computer in a while, and get the beef pasties in with the spuds and see how it all goes, the spuds I didn’t realise, were for microwaving only when I ordered them. Fingers crossed.

2Tue14Off to put the pasties in with the spuds now.

Fair nosh, 7/10 for flavour.

Incidentally, if anyone is interested in making imitation rubies, they could do worse than drain a jar of Asda whole beetroots and use them. Of course, you’ll need to find a way of softening the beetroots before you sell them.

Washed the pots, had a wee-wee and got down in the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, inoperable, recliner.

Amazingly, I was off in the land of nod, within a few minutes. No thought-storms to bother me. (I think they had worn themselves out during the day!)

WD 0.50.0 Woken up by the mobile ringing. They had rung off by the time I got to the phone. A Birmingham number 0120.

Getting back to sleep took ages…

WD 0.50.0 The landline then flashed and rang! Can’t blame folk who do not understand my enforced odd hours I keep. It depends on whether or not I slept all the previous night, I’ve had two sleepless nights last week. Whether it be Duodenal Donald, Anne Gyna, Peripheral Pete, Suddering Shoulder Shirley or whichever ailment stop me kipping, it’s always irritating and frustrating, trying to get caught up.

Half-asleep, it was Jenny ringing. She kindly told me that Lloyds Chemist, in Sherwood, still deliver prescriptions. (I read they are going to charge, but it’ll be worth it if its a reasonable cost) I’ll have to talk to the surgery to see if the Doctor Vindla can send them to Sherwood. Good of her to think of me. Bless her.

Now the Thought Storms began again. So drifting off again was a long time coming.

Be back in the morning to update, or, if I cannot get to sleep again, later tonight. Int life confusing? Hehehe!

Inchcockski – Saturday 9th May 2020: A sanity-testing day, I think I failed!

May08

Saturday 9th May 2020

Zulu: NgoMgqibelo 9th Meyi 2020

00 May 09

GM 200.0.004:40hrs: I woke up to Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, giving me a right shaking, clouting my elbow on the arm of the chair at the same time. Even the more than ample midriff was wobbling along in unison with Shirley’s beat!

Cor-blimey, it took some time before she eased off as well. No wonder I woke in such a sudden-sharp, shuddery, jolting fashion.

But, at least it woke me up properly and got the brain, alertness and awareness working together. As soon as things subsided, I foolishly got up too quickly, to get to the wet room for a wee-wee.

WD 180.50.0 As I was pushing up the weight of my elephantine torso from the recliner, an extra little shudder from Shirley, had me crash back down into the chair. Hitting my nose of all things, as I twisted to put my arms out, on the edge of the seat’s arm, and missed it! Now that’s something different that I can’t remember having for years, a bleeding nose! (Although, at school, I remember getting given many of them)

WD 180.50.0 I got safely and Accifauxpa-free, into the wet room, dropped the PP’s and relieved myself. Another powerful session of the BOASSA (Blasting Out-and -Suddenly-Stopping-Abruptly) mode. But it was painless, that was a treat! As I was changing the PP’s, it came apparent that the legs were even more anaemic looking than yesterday morning.

6Sat04

However, for a nice change, Clopidogrel Clive’s lumps and blotches seem to me, to be taking a vacation. The Thrombophlebitis and spider and venous veins, (phlebitis),  and iliac veins, had died down, too! I feared I was suffering from oneirataxia, but, no, they really were hardly showing on the skin surface at all. Arthur Itis’s knees were far less mangled looking, but he was still supplying me with plenty of hurt and pain when I walked. I think, at that the moment the more painful and handicapping, was coming from the poor feet and overgrown toenailed toes. I’m not complaining about this, but I am just a tad confused.

Not that things were getting me down at all. I possessed an outlook of a phenomenal difference to yesterday. I was singing under my breath and nattering to myself constantly. Bonkers, but contented!

By the time I got around to taking a look at the nose, it had stopped bleeding completely and was barely painful at all. Other than giving me a mild headache of sorts. Hehehe! Another possible reason for my outlook of lightness was that Little Inchies fungal lesion was not bleeding. And this to another day stuck indoors, so another risk-free, none use of the Sock-Glide with its accompanying bruising and bleeding. I hope I can remember how to use it when the lock-in and lock-down stops. I haven’t been on a bus, or to a shop for months now. Hey-ho!

WD 180.50.0 Then a concerned came to mind. I have only two days of prescription medications left. Are Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl) going to let me down again with the delivery, and leave me without medications for weeks again? My earlier high-spirits came crashing down, and I began to sink into the darkness again! I wasn’t really ever meant to be, life is now too complicated for me. I limped, no singing now, to the kitchen. Checked the medications, yes, just two days worth left. They may arrive today? Globdangles!

Morosely and without much interest, I made a brew of Glengettie tea and digested the medications.

I got two small black bags of rubbish to the waste chute. Hobbling is no pleasure with the toes and feet in this condition! Then got on with updating last night’s diary. It took me a long time, but I got it finished just before the Iceland delivery two-hour period was about to start.

I went on Pinterest and WordPress Reader section. Then the TFZer, and Winwood Heights Community Group Facebook pages.

Jenny called me. She knew I liked Melton Mobray pork pies and asked if I wanted her and Franks, as they don’t eat them. I thanked her kind gesture. She said she’ll pop the down later, How kind! ♥

6Sat05As I was starting on today’s diary, the intercom buzzed and flashed. One’s Iceland delivery had arrived. I got them into the kitchen and unloaded them to check on any shortages or substitutions. But this time, it was a case of, ‘I don’t remember ordering all this bread?’

WD 180.50.0 For there was bag after bag of cobs on the Iceland order. Panini rolls, wholemeal baps, wholemeal thins, cheesy cobs, and crispy rolls! Was I under the impression I had ordered only the Panini rolls and bread thins? And, how or why I ordered battered fish, and more chips, greasy-dripping soaked ones, that I do not even like, is beyond me!

6Sat09

I imagine that I must have had a blank-spell while I was ordering them? Not that I would have been aware of it at the time. Tsk! Life is becoming a bigger challenge all the time!

I made a start on this blog. And after an hour or so, the doorbells chimed out the Dusty Springfield ♫ I only want to be with you ♫, tune. I fumbled to get some trousers and a shirt on. My heart and hopes raised to a ridiculously high level; I’d somehow convinced myself, that it would be the Prescriptions being delivered from Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl), and warmth and satisfaction grew as I hobbled to the front door.

WD 180.50.0 Nope! It was Josie; she had at last seen the bag of food left outside her door for her yesterday and didn’t know anything about it. She thought I’d left it for her. Bless her. I’m not the only one that gets blank spells. I explained what it was, but the gal had no idea what I was talking about, and ended up more confused, I think. I’ll have a word or two and put her mind at rest tomorrow.

But at the moment, I had to live with the disappointment of the ringing door, not being from Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl). I seem to be finding myself in highs and lows today.

It’s already afternoon here. The weariness is already dawning on me. Surely I cannot be asking too much for the prescriptions from Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl) not to be late, yet again?

I went on Facebook again. I’m not up to concentrating on graphicalising, in my current black mood over the uncertainty of the prescriptions.

WD 180.50.0A The doorbells chimed out again. I fumbled to get some trousers and a shirt on again. Got to the door, knocking over a pot of birdseed en route when I had a wobbly, that spilt out all over the floor! Someone had left me packets of Melton Pies and sausage rolls (Which I dare not eat) on the floor. So, I put the pork pies in the fridge with the others, I’ll never eat them all before the sell-by date, but it was a lovely thought from someone. Then I had to clean up the birdseed in the hallway.

It took me over two hours to clean up the birdseed. Made a right bigger mess, as I could not step over the grain ones, and crushed some. Having to start over again. No good hoovering, I tried. So, I had to use brush and dustpan; but kept getting interference from Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, Suddering Shirley and Shaking Shaun. I was dropping stuff as much as what I got to the bin!

I nearly called Jenny for some tips on using the Vanish Gold carpet cleaner. But when I eventually found the spray, the instructions seemed clear enough. So I gave it a go in the hall.

I backed my way along the hallway, spraying with foam, rubbing it in. I ended up stuck in the front room for two hours while it worked its magic. Then I have to hoover up.

I went of the updating of the diary. Every bone and joint hurting now, and Anne Gyna has started to kick-off. All this, because some kind person dropped of the pies for me. Hehehe! I’m seating like the devil now, too. But, can’t get out to have a wash until I’ve done the hoovering. Oh, I do hope it comes out alright.

WD 180.50.0 Pictorial Tale of frustrating farce, so far:

On a proper downer now. Stuck in the front room for two hours, while the carpeting dries. Fingers crossed! Put the vacuum on charging. It was getting a little warm, so I decided to open the balcony door.

5Fri35aWD 180.50.0 Pickled-Walnuts and Clogumbobskitit! I could not unlock the balcony door! All that hassle to get it to lock on Friday, and now, more hassle to get it to open on Saturday night! I gave up in the end and just prayed there is not a fire, and I need to escape the flames and fumes.

I’m hoping it’ll be my own fault and I’ve just forgotten about how to operate the mechanism. Not that anyone can come to look at it for me (Lock-down etc.)

I got some nosh sorted out, and with being all uptight and bothered, I forgot to take a snap of it. I ate it all anyway. Albeit with a little unenthusiasm, and depressionalistic thoughts.

DSCN2649WD 180.50.0 I was too uptight and wound-up for sleep to come to me. The Thought-Storms went on the rampage in the grey-cells. I kept the TV on and was temporarily glad I did when I found that the Red Dwarf film was showing.

It’d been on last month, I recalled the disappointment of my falling asleep then watching it, and missing the end. There is no doubt, finding out about, and staying up so late to watch it, had improved my emotionally cluttered state of mind.

DSCN2650I perked-up a tad and went to make up another bottle of spring water and orange cordial. To guzzle, hopefully, while I was watching the film.

Heartbreakingly, I nodded-off again during aa set of commercials. And woke up as the theme tune played and the credits were rolling! Humph!

I was back in the blackness. I wondered if I will ever manage to see this film throughout? My enthusiasm for life drained. Take today;

  • The Accifauxpa getting up.
  • Let down again by Carrington Pharmacy, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, (a few doors down from Lidl)!
  • Now out of medications again!
  • The legs indicating that maybe I had died. (So pale)
  • The masses of bread I’d apparently ordered!
  • The balcony door lock, either broken or beyond my capabilities to operate!
  • Falling asleep during the Red Dwarf film again!
  • The depressive Whoopsiedangleplop with the birdseed and the resulting mess and crippling, pain-giving job of cleaning it all up.
  • My mental and physical fall into the blackness of depression.
  • Memory lapses and blanks.
  • Sinking into the darkness.

I was a little worried and concerned about the medication shortage – Not too much though – But I was feeling defeated and rather low – From somewhere, determination did grow, and I miraculously started singing, I’ll give life another go! Hahaha!

Belatedly, I went to do the washing up. Billy Fury’s ‘Cross my heart’ was being sung, well, silently mouthed.

WD 180.50.0 No doubt about it, I was in a strange state of mind. A mixture of unbelievability, yet acceptance of my bad luck, and ailing health, wanting to give up altogether, and yet, being determined not to surrender to the blackness.

DSCN2648A most suitable view from the window was on view. In a way, I read of my state of mind in the sky. The ferocity of frustration. The dark depressive clouds. The loneliness. The hopes of light at the end of the tunnel. And the beauty of life! (Pull yourself together, Inchy!)

With some twisted illogical hopes, semi-logicality was restored, I returned to the recliner. And was with Sweet Morpheus within minutes, free of frustrations, worries and calm, for a few hours.

Highly acceptable!

Good morning, each.

GM2green05I’d amazingly fell asleep early last night, amazing! It didn’t last long, though.

WD 0.50.0 I woke with a rare and nervewracking, alarming, urgency, in desperate need of a wee-wee! Fumbled my way out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, uncomfortable, not-operational, tatty, dangerous, flea-bitten, rickety recliner. Caught my balance, grabbed the stick, and off to the wet room.

Considering how thin the legs have gone over the last 24hrs. I was caught out by the ferocity and length of the evacuation. I was almost drained and tired by the time it had finished. Where did that torrent come from? I hobbled to the kitchen and got the medications out.

4Thu01WD 0.50.0 This was when a possible cause for the flood came to mind. It is possible, with the medications being all mixed up and some got lost when I took the tumble and spilt the tablets and pills, on Monday. I may have taken Furesomide instead of either Codeine or a Beta-blockers? But, who knows. There is definitely no fluid retention in the pins, in fact, they are the thinnest they have ever been, for some unknown reason.

I did the earhole olive-oiling, Saccades eyes sprayed. Got the kettle on, and… flipping ‘eck, it was back to the wet room for another wee-wee!

WDP4WD 0.50.0 Another almost tiring, right uncomfortable LHLB (Long-Hosepipe-Like-Blasting) version. This time, with a lot of back-spraying. Which needed cleaning up, during which I caught the toes of the right foot against the metal seat support, I managed to avoid shouting out loud, but curses silently flowed from my lips, with the pain making me wince a bit! This flow came to an abrupt end. I washed the hands after cleaning up, and the bar of vegetable soap shot out of my grasp, hit the far right wall and fell downwards. I still haven’t found it yet. Tsk!

4Thu03WD 0.50.0 I started on the computer, and WordPress was refusing to save my work? I could not find out if it was WordPress or the Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet playing up again. Ah, I see the computer box lights flashing, and some are off altogether!

VirDown 0.30.0

It’s incredible how some people, go out of their way to make people loathe and hate them like Fries does! Swine!

WD 0.50.0 It’s still new in the day, too early to sign-in for the Icelands ‘At-Risk’ list to book an order. I hope that Mr Fries pathetic farce of an imitation internet supplying company are back on again before 09:00hrs. Not as it says, that it will guarantee a slot being available anyway.

Makes you sick, all mist and mirrors and lies!

WD 0.50.0 Off for yet another wee-wee. Little Inchies fungal lesion bleeding now! My life reminds me of a joke… this one:

Inchcock used to say that he was the unluckiest person he knew. He had never won anything or had anything good happen to him in his entire life. Until now.

Inchcock was clearing out his junk room when he came upon an old painting and a violin. Thinking they might be valuable, he took them to the auction house to be valued.

The appraiser said, “Inchcock, I’ve good news, and I have some bad news!”

“What’s the good news?” Inchcock asked.

“The good news is that you have a Stradivarius and a Picasso,” replied the appraiser.

“I can’t believe my luck!” cried Inchcock “Nothing like this ever happens to me!”

“Well I wouldn’t get ahead of yourself Inchcock” continued the appraiser, “Because the bad news is that Stradivarius was a terrible painter and Picasso was no good with violins!”

I got some photographs of the moon taken while I was non compos mentiss over the internet. I was so pleased with the results. (which, of course, do not show the thirteen failed shots I made, Tsk!)

4Thu03aWell, I’m up as gum-tree now! I went and got the veg prepped and into the crock-pot.

I had a very mild Dizzy Dennis visit, which didn’t long. But got Shaking Shaun attending me afterwards, and that is something new. Still, okay, now.

4Thu02Then, off for another wee-wee. Things were less powerful this time, and not so much released either. The fungal lesion was not bleeding, that was something at least! Is my ill-fortune changing?

The plates (feet) and toes were still giving me some bother and stinging. Considering that I have done so little walking (well, hobbling about), I was surprised about this. And boy, were they pale!

Hello, the internet’s has come back on. (For heaven’s sake, don’t tell Mr Fries!)

At long last, I got started on the updating of the Tuesday diary. As I achieved success and got it finished, one more trip to the wet room was needed. This time, still a forceful effort, but much shorter. It makes me wonder where it is all coming from?

Made a brew, and got on with Pinteresting a few snaps. Then on WordPress reading. Next, Facebooking for a few hours. Added to the picture galleries.

4Thu11Off for, unbelievably, another wee-wee.

The knees and pins (legs) were looking far less Clopidogrelled.

A little more colour in them as well.

I went on to CorelDraw to make up some graphics for later use.

Jenny kindly rang me to ask if I was alri4Thu12ght for bread and milk, which I am. I thanked her for thinking of me.

I checked the Google calendar for tomorrow: Yee-ha! Only one item on for Friday 8th May, Great! (That is I hope so, there may be something I’ve missed off?) It has been known before.

I turned off the computer, and pondered a moment or two, on what to have for nosh tonight. After a while, I realised I was not hungry at all, really.

So I decided to just have some nibbles of some sort, later on.

It’d been a long time since I’d had a wee-wee but found the urge coming on once more and with a sense of urgency this time! It was a painful trip to the wet room, and I made it JIT (Just-in-time) with no by the narrowest of margins.

4Thu10aThe evacuation was of the BOBSL (Blasting-Out-But-Short-Lived) variety for a change. Changed the PP’s in case any leakages in my rush had gone unnoticed.

I saw that the tiny hotel-room type freebie tablet of vegetable soap was holding up well after several uses. I like the lather it gives off.

Freshened up, and found myself feeling in an anomalistic frame of mind. The EQ warned me of more hassle to come! I did not feel poorly or even under the weather, but a vagueness lingered, and unexplainable sense, like: It’s coming and will have to be coped with? Confused? So am I! Tsk!

I gathered some nibbles and a bottle of orange juice around me and got down to watch TV. But watching what was on, I lost all interest. So, I went on a radio channel and listened to a documentary. I stayed awake all the way through the hour-long programme, and during it, ate a banana, orange, some cashew nuts and a fair few Mini-cheddar biscuits.

With so little sleep last night, I’d hoped to catch-up on it a bit. So, earlier than normal, I took out the hearing aids and removed the glasses. Pulled the woolly hat over my eyes, and within a few minutes, I’d nodded-off! Great!

Then the farce began…

WDP 4LWD 0.50.0 I was woken up a few minutes later, with clumping noises coming from somewhere I could not identify. They stopped quickly. Of course, this meant I had to get out of the c1968 recliner, to have a look around in case something had fell over somewhere in the flat. But I found nothing untoward. Back down in the chair. And surprised myself with how quickly I drifted off again.

WDP 4GLWD 0.50.0 The mobile phone flashed and burst into life. Huh! I struggled free of the £300, second-hand, rickety recliner, caught my balance, and as I got to the mobile, it stopped ringing! Harrumph! Back to the recliner, took the mobile with me in case, grumped and groaned silently to myself and back to sleep!

WDP 03LWD 0.50.0 An hour or so later, the landline rang out and flashed! I could have cried! On my feet once more, and stubbed my toe on the swivel chair leg, going to phone. Which delayed me, and the ringing ceased! What the hell is happening here? Ghosts? Aliens? I settled back down, but it took me an aeon to get back to sleep. The Thought-Storms started, I could stop them, on and on at me they flowed. I don’t know why; they were mostly nonsense, imaginary fears and worries, but twisted enough to keep me awake.

WDP 02LRdWD 0.50.0 Then, another call for a wee-wee. I threw caution to the wind in my haste, and rolled out of the chair, grabbed the stick and was hobbling to the wet room, in record time. Yes, it was another urgent one! I didn’t make it in time! Embarrassment-Mode-Engaged! Surely, these must be Furesomide induced wee-wees? I had a wash and change of PP’s, and I must have looked (because I was), stupified as I returned to the rickety recliner. My heart was racing, Anne Gyna, the toes, and Duodenal Donald were all having a go at me now!

When I first got settled a few hours ago, I was feeling better than I had done for ages. Now it was a damaged, injured, mentally insecure, wreck, of an old man who got back into his ancient, non-working recliner. I tried to resist the brain’s workings again, and eventually drifted off, into the comforting embrace of Sweet Morpheus! I think I was dreaming about a young lady from many years ago…

WDP01bWD 0.50.0 Later on, Globdangerations & Grumpworthiness! The mobile phone flashed and rang out! I reached out onto the Ottoman, grabbed the phone (It may have got wet from the tears falling – only joking!), it was Sister Jane, I’d now got not only Shaun, Donald, Anne and Reflux Roger bothering me, but Stuttering Stephanie joined in! I was only half-aware of what was happening and struggling to get my words out like never before. Jane said for me to watch BBC 1, great news! I’m not certain what else was said.

WDP 2aWD 0.50.0 Argh! Another wee-wee needed! I fought my way out of the rickety recliner yet again, not so urgent this time. But having been caught-out earlier, I was taking no chances, and I got to the WC in good time. The evacuation was the same as the previous two. The problem was that Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding! So, I had to do a cleaning up, medicating session and change the PPs again!

I’ve already been up for over 20 hours. But could I get to sleep again? No!

I’m not sure which Aliens, Ghosts, Goblins or God I’ve upset, enough to be denied rest and sleep like this – but I apologise! Beg for forgiveness, and sleep! That might do the trick?

I gave up and got up. Updated this blog, between wee-wees and Duodenal Donald’s and Anne Gyna’s stabbings, in a mood of acceptance.

I got caught as far as here and went to make a brew. When looking out of the window, I spotted a fire of some sort way in the distance. So took some photos of the scene, and one well zoomed-in one of the fire-smoke in the far distance.

4Thu17

I thought I’d finish this blog and get it posted off, cause with the picnic in the pod tomorrow, and the state I’ll be in with no sleep, Humph!
