Slept for a full 3 uninterrupted hours. 03:00hrs to 06:00.
The nocturnal catheter had not been put on. Silly I had forgotten to attach it! The day bag contents looked dark again. Later, Carer Ayu classed it as being a six on the NHS scale.
Getting out of the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, was a lot easier than scrambling out of the hospital bed. But, more painful to fall back into when
gave way as I stood up. The bed has a definite advantage to fall on; it’s so much higher!
Another long session was spent on the
. The usual practices were carried out; a go at the crossword, but no answers were found this time. I counted 22 cracks in the ceiling.
started and kept up his long run of guilt accusing, and Ant-Inchy put-downs.
I gave up and had a wash, accompanied by escapades of smelly
wind from the rear end! I put on a fresh gown, olive-oiled both of the earholes and took a Senna tablet in hopes of encouraging some movement from the rear end.
Next, I creamed and ointmentated various gargantuan-sized wobbly belly areas requiring the same treatments.
I hobbled off to the kitchen to decide whether to make a mug of Glengettie tea. Arriving at decisions has not been easy for me lately. The brain goes off at a tandem. I consider the NHS two
mugs-a-day ruling… is it too early? Will I want a third cup later tonight? Could I care less? I made one. And let it go cold after I’d started on the blog!
I wiped the mug and prepared it for the next brewing of tea later on. Then, I took this photo from the kitchen window. It doesn’t show well, but I saw some items
on the bottom of the upward-trodden path. I zoomed in close to identify what they were. I’m still not sure. Possibly, a bottle with red liquid in it. I have no idea what light-coloured things are. Should I have used the
Macro when I zoomed in so far away or not? I didn’t. I’m confusing myself here! Snapped the sun coming up from behind in this shot (Right).
I was working on the ode of the day when Carer Ayu arrived. He put the diabetic socks on my legs. Well, it’s better than putting them on my arms. Hehehe! Ayu administered the medications, and we shared a mini natter. I
worked using CorelDraw and WordPress for a while. My concentration was a little better this morning, but it didn’t last!
I had a misleading idea that the rear-end wanted me to visit the
.
As you can see, it was a hopeless effort yet again. I wonder if there’s a chance of an explosion from within, with the ether being
created in the building up of mass in the solid matter. Hahaha!
Darned uncomfortable feeling.
I did my best. When I started, I had one solution for the crossword, but I had a lot more when I gave up on the motion moving anytime now.
Will I implode instead?
I took even more of the anti
medications. I’m unsure if it was safe to take any more, but I can’t read the minuscule printing of
the inserted instructions leaflets.
I made another brew of my beloved Glengettie tea.
Nice and strong!
Pressed on with this blog. With staying up so late yesterday, I’d got some done ready. ![]()
I was on CorelDraw and was alternating with this WordPress blog, and got blowback pains from the catheter tube stuck in Little Inchie. Had a look and, to my utter amazement, found the pouch so full, hard and heavy; it had tugged at Little Inchie, causing some bleeding again.
When I emptied it into the measuring jug, it showed 840ml! In an hour. I wish the community nurses would allow me to try peeing
manually again. I’d hate to think I could and had had the darned
on all this time and didn’t need it. What am I thinking and saying? As if anything would go right for me!
Ah, genuine rumbling from my innards this
time. I’m off to the Throne. And yet again, no evacuation!
Plenty of pain, though.
Five minutes after getting back to blogging, I was on my way back to the wet room. This time… Action Stations Alert! After a lot
of effort, struggles, and phenomenal pain, at last, the blood-covered, almost cube-shaped lumps of concrete passed! Ahhh!
When Carer Precious arrived, I just had one Paracetamol because I’d just taken a few sprays of the toothache painkiller and didn’t want to mix the different types.
I made a start on tomorrow’s ode.

FOOD TIME!
MEAL OF THE WEEK TODAY
At the point of perfection!
Delicious Beef in black bean sauce. Onions, leeks, and peppers are yellow and green. Liquid smoke was added to the extra-strong gravy. Basil, sea salt, oregano, beetroot juice, black pepper and spirit vinegar!
Carer Richard arrived as I nodded off in the poorly-aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, after cleaning the pots up.
He looked a lot better than last week. But of course, we shared ailments that we both know will only worsen. He said he’d call again in the morning. Hope he has a calmer night shift.
What an evening view I took from the kitchen window.
The wind was getting up again out there. The gold and brown showed up wonderfully well.
I did a bit of pareidoliaing with this shot. I found a bird’s head and a whale and got pleasure from looking at nature’s beauty.
I returned to the computer to catch up a little with this blog.
But it didn’t last for long. Crumple-Grips! Mini Seizures took over. My concentration was destroyed. I’m not complaining, though, cause
had been kind to me most of the day. Of course, now I’ve said that… Wait for it!

BONUS ODE
All the best to you and all in your abode,
I’ve just watched a ‘Heartbeat’ episode,
I may be selling my second-hand commode…
Then to the Porcelain Throne, I bestrode,
My teeth still ache; well, they’re getting owd,
Many broken, coming out, and yellowed!
New ailments weekly by the vanload,
Worries, fears, jealousies I can’t unload,
Always something to discommode,
I don’t see any of the twittering sparrows,
They used to fill the local hedgerows?
I hear voices, see faces in the shadows…
I can’t swim, but I paddle in the shallows,
Take photos of the sky through my windows.
Also, of the grass, trees and weeping willows…
This reminds me that I must get some new pillows!
I forget my telephone number & postcode,
Left taps running, the sink overflowed,
Can someone adopt me? Put me in ‘Happy-Mode’?
Doreen Dementia wants me to explode!
Stuck in this flat, alone, cocooned!
That’s enough, too-much, I have moaned.
Sorry about the aforementioned.
Pots to wash, I’ll get myself aproned!

Not good.
It took me ages to encourage it.
First view of the morning.
I enjoyed eating… no, podding the garden peas,
Oh, the moon is right high up in the sky. It must be earlier than I thought? I could see its surface, but the camera did not pick it up at all. Shame!
Computer on, first mug of tea.
At least it wasn’t a giant torpedo this time.
This is the second and last mug of tea of the day. Not much has been added to my reminder notepad. Tsk!
Oh, it’s getting dark already.
I ate all the gorgeous fresh peas that had not been nibbled raw earlier in the day, as well as tomatoes, instant mash, and a vegetable pastie. All went down well!

The carer forgot to take the waste bag, so it was no problem. I took them both to the rubbish chute.
The JS order arrived.

Got the pod peas shelled.
A spot of rain; it must have lasted for two minutes.
Well, the sun’s trying for a last hurrah!.
Vegetarian sausages, red onion, fresh garden peas, Marmite cheese, tomatoes & Marmite sarnies with no-butter butter.
Clouds broke up.

eded some pain relief. I doused the mouth and teeth with the Pain-relief-Spray several times throughout the day. Probably a little too often. I also added a 20g Nurofen Meltlet to each bottle of the spring water that I have to drink each day to keep the urine flowing onto the catheter. I’m fed up with this, too!
The Memory Blanks kept coming.
The hazy morning tempted me to try the new Kodak camera to take a couple of shots from the kitchenette windows.
houses came out too well. It was a little blurry, but the whole scene to the keys was a smidge hazy, as was the sky. But it was gorgeous to me.
Inchy got them, but not within the 10 seconds.
I think I fell asleep. When I woke up, I took these shots of the sunset as it disappeared over the horizon.
Taking these shots a little later while in the kitchen.
I sprayed some of the pain relief on my teeth, then carefully, slowly, almost delicately, ate the snack. Nice!
After Chris stopped laughing at the slight scratch on my head, he took a photo of it.

I woke up rather earlier, 04:14hrs. (I don’t think I’ll even get to bed tonight! (00:24hrs now). I’d passed much urine overnight.
Wee-wee too dark again, though.
I shelled the last of the pod peas. Initially, I wanted to have a meal, but with all the hassle and need to get this blog done, I didn’t have a meal. But of course,
I opened CorelDraw and got some graphics created for the blog.
Suddenly I had to abandon the blogging to go to the wet room and Porcelain Throne.

I went onto the balcony for a break from making mistakes on the Wednesday blog. It appeared that it had been raining during the night. The mudslide
near the end car park had returned. The petricor was smellable as soon as I opened the window. Not many people about this morning. Back into the flat, Carer Chris arrived. Chris pointed out that I was stuttering a lot this morning. I’d not noticed until then. After he’d gone, I made an order for next week, for Tuesday, I think, from Asda. I got a phone call from the District Nurse to say they would not be calling, but they will next week.
check and email me back if she found any. Which she did. She emailed exactly what to put on the Amazon search box. She said the same thing is cheaper from Argos, suggesting I get one from there. So I ordered one. Of course, with the delivery charge, it proved costlier than the Amazon one. I can’t win! Nothing new there, then.
Then came a threat of a £1000 fine via a letter from the Government about me not paying the full price for a TV licence. The letter added that they had permission and that someone would be calling to check that if I had a television, a prosecution would follow. Deana wrote down her telephone number, and when they come, I’m to tell them to ring her. Apparently, several tenants have had one of these red letters.
The above sunset photos were taken, and then an hour or so later, the ones on the left.
Hehe, there was no catheter bag to put on. I had not eaten, and cooking while carrying the bag and tube is dangerous. There
were no diabetic socks to take off, which I had not put on. He liked his treats and merrily went off home. Thanks, Chris. Have a good kip. I left the TV on, thinking I’d have time to watch it while eating the meal. It didn’t work out, lol. It’s 01:20 hrs
Just before it went over the horison, I, at long last, got a decent shot of the retiring Sun.

Tired, deflated, and in a mind-haze, I got the much-belated meal prepared and served on a tray. I gave it a rating of 6.9/10 For flavour & taste, it would have been far higher had

As I was fighting off the urge to nod back to sleep, my Doreen Dementia-controlled brain spewed forth memories of a dream I felt that I’d been having at the time. It was nothing like the one the night before, and I think it had just started, for there is not much I can recall. But I felt that clear at the time, so I reached for the notepad and pen to write down what I had gleaned. I really believed I was in the old Control Room at Sawley Security. I was sitting at the control desk, recording a check call from a patrolman. Ray was his name and still is, I assume.
After musing and writing notes of the dream, and hoping things do go in threes, and remember one in the morning… or maybe not.
I had a misleading sensation that Trotskt Terence might be returning. Going by the wind from the rear end and mild gurgling coming from the innards of the Porcelain Throne, I limped. Well, I could not have been more wrong. It was even more painful and slow than yesterday’s visit. The colouring was dark green, bo bits of brown in it this
time. The crossword book was attempted, but I didn’t get any answers. The relief when things got freed was boosted because Harold’s Haemorrhoids bled, not a drop, and I could see none in the Torpedo. Which was so big that the system needed three tries before it got through on its way to the sewers. Well, I was in there, the wet room, so decided to do the hygiene routine and medicationings.
now. Two little nicks on the cheeks, one on the chin, two on one ear, and one on the other. I foolishly looked at the four-bladed razor and took a minute
bit of flesh from my thumb. That bled more than all the others put together. Haha! I left the bloodied cloth soaking in bleach and tropical-scented softener.
Then got the vaccumm out and did the mini-hallway. Made up the four waste bin bags into one.
Off to the kitchen, I poddled; I hit my ankle against the trolley wheel. Swore and cursed and back to the wet room and changed into my long-distance spectacles.
do they? She then changed the Catheter day bag and pouch for me. We had to laugh when she noticed that the right leg below the knee was swollen and to the right of the patella, and the knee had moved to the left?
got them anyway; they will be kept in the fridge for her. Within two hours of Kara leaving, the delivery arrived.
I started with the fresh stuff. I stopped to prep some of the vegetables that needed cooking: potatoes and
mushrooms. I tried a slice of each of the spring onions. The red ones were mild but great, and the white ones burned my throat! For the first time, I got the
spuds and mushrooms on a slow boil using this pan. There was a fine selection of fresh stuff. I to battle to make room to get it all in the fridge.

the kneecap has definitely moved inwards. I’ll put some Phorpain on it later. No, I’ll do it now. Well, that hasn’t eased anything. I’ll take an extra Codeine.
I’m back!
A Vegan meat pastie, mushrooms, tomatoes, and boiled potatoes with the usual No-Butter butter but no salt tonight rounded off the feast. Fresh raw garden peas and red and white sliced spring onions rounded off the meal. A lemon yoghourt followed.

Blogging for several hours, and Carer Israel arrived, on his way home, last call. Did a good job with the diabetic socks, and put some cream on my ankle first. Treated him.
Pressed on with the blogging. Taking the above photos of the view in-between moments of with-it and Out-of-it.
Got dressing gowns and nightshirts hung up.
Even more rubbish was cleaned up. My mind was getting me to do the blog, but Doreen Dementure rather wanted me to start other jobs and forget about them, and others started.

I think yesterday’s tumble off of the stepladder may have affected the colour of the urine. So much of a deeper red than usual, even for a morning.
I made a milkless brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea
left it near the kettle, and meandered to the wet room to use the Porcelain Throne.
I concentrated on updating yesterday’s blog. It went well for the first half-hour or so.
Carer Chris arrived. He did the medicationalisationings and got the diabetic socks on, which was a little painful; the ulcer area seems more delicate today.
my brain. I went through some boxes and bins, collecting more rubbish and putting it into a waste bag. I got the Hoover out again and did the hallway.
I took a Kodak Tim shot with the blotches in it and felt I had to just sit down. So I did. I dropped on the c1966, £300 charity shop-bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige-coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner.
I didn’t nod off, but I did stir after looking at the dirty upholstery and tried a small patch with the foam cleaner and brush. What a mess! I’ll try again tomorrow after asking a carer to read the instructions on the can that I can’t. Hehe! It looks dirtier than it did before I
tried to clean it! Humph! I decided on an early meal… not a good idea, I realised afterwards! Grumph!
I’m not up to doing any more blogging after today’s erm… well, daymare!
Then, I went into the kitchen to take this one of the offered views.
