Inchie: Wed 3 Sept 25 Mini-Seizure Clusters

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I couldn’t help the first thing, being born,
Getting thrown in the canal at Halthorn,
Mother and Joan of Arc for
being a Capricorn,
I wish I could have avoided being earthborn,
Mother didn’t want me; she ran off to Eastbourne,
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
My canoodling days, I spent happily in revelry,
Then a burglar decided to shoot me,
No praise for stopping the burglary
I nearly got the sack, I was thirty-three,
I tried to share things, antediluvially,
Shot again, got the sack, started the despondency.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I’ll have to stop doing this eventually,
In fact, due to seizures, each one is a shortie,
Cruel after-effects, taking longer in recovery,
If I ever get the blog started, midnight a departee,
So far behind, hours lost, Anne Gyna is having a party,

Today’s seizures are rampant, I’ve never had so many…
I’ll have to try again on Thursday morning.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Not feeling too well this merry morning. After four hectic, go-wrongable days, I’d hoped things might improve for me today. In fact, they did, whoopsiedangleploppery-wise. But, a new one today. A series of short mini-seizures started just before midday. I’ve lost count of how many. Each time, the recovery was taking longer and longer. Mt concentration was so bad. I was not getting the time to fully recuperate each time, and it felt like the next seizure recovery time… I’m just saying, getting back to semi-normality was impossible. I found myself going off track, which meant I couldn’t catch up on the blog. No time for the WP reader or comments again. I shall call the District Nurse if this lasts much longer. As I recall, my wanderings took me off track for the day. I split some boxes, tore them up into bags, and then took them along with the waste bins to the rubbish chute.
And I could have left them for the Carer’s to do, and most importantly, in moments of clarity, I kept urging myself to get on with the Ode and blog. Then I started, and was hoovering the room and hallway… not that I can recall much of this incident. Because the seizure would not subside. Well, they did ease off from about 17:00 hours to 20:00 hours… at least I think they did.
I’d taken photos and got a few on CorelDraw, but not on the blog gallery. Some I cannot recall taking.
Yet I coped, unhappily and grumpily, I admit, with the previous hell-days problems. I’ve been mentally all over the place today. Yet, I still managed to jot down some notes on the pad.

I may phone Matron about this Mini-Seizure barrage in the morning, even if the seizures stop altogether – I cannot cope with repeated short seizures. Having said that, it is the first time I’ve had so many, so close to each other. During any longer breaks between the seizures, I was another person. I swear I can recall laughing and joking with Carers’ Ejas and Nimra. At times, just until the subsequent recovery was needed. And I experienced some great moments despite Sanda’s Mini-Seizures.

I’ll see how things go on Thursday.
(Thursday morning, now) I’ll have to cut down on detail, not that they were entertaining anyway. To save time. Giving myself a chance to catch up.

Health Check Monitoring this morning, Carer Ejaz double-checked the returning figures for me later on, gave out medications, diabetic socks were put on, and a body check was carried out.He checked prescription medications…
,
And no prescription ones in the wet room.

Cragnangles! Done it again!
Wrong week for the Ocado order!
,
At least I’ve got some bread now, hehe!
Mor favourites too!

Seizures kicked off, I’ll say no more!
Well, maybe just, ARRGH!

Late afternoon, teatime.
Carer Nimra, I think, pointed out the state of my right leg. Next call, Ejaz put some Cetraben cream on the area, and it was much calmer in the morning.

,
I took this while recovering from the last bout of Seizures; they did not return after this. The odd single one, but with plenty of time to recover. Nice!

Three snaps of the rain on the kitchen windows.
Straight ahead.
To the left.
To the right.

The shot below was taken after I’d made, eaten and pictured the feast. But could not find the food photo in the morning to use? Another of the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, & spirits. Receptive Aphasia Phyllis, Paroxysmal dyskinesia, Episodic ataxia, Ménière’s disease, Dark, Deep, Depressing Duncan, Peripheral Neuropathy Pete, Nicodemus Neurotransmitters Dying, Glaucoma Gladys, Stuttering Stephany, Lymphorrhea Leslie, Premordid Cognitive Impairment Inchie, or the Fata Morganas that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind. My faith, sanity, and logicality were already on the wane.

Now, I’m having to contend with Sandra’s Mini-Seizure-Stampede. Grrr, Kragnancles and Flipping-heck come to mind. But, of course, they didn’t bother me in the slightest; I just laughed them all off. There is a slight modicum of a chance here that.

Despite these Seizure stampedes, there is one thing that they could not stop me getting, HMH;
I think my estimate of the division between Evil & Heaven is accurate. I may not have been as high a percentage for HRH. However, the relief gained while he was here was priceless.
I think without these High-Mode-Horis moments, I could not go on. They are better than any of the medications I’m on. The ‘Sod-them-all’ sensation that accompanies Horis is so unlike me; I’ve always been a worrier. In fact, I’m now worrying how I will cope without them. They came from an uncontrollable, weird entity… my own brain. How, why, I know not?
The only Anti-Depression-Darius Succes, without it, I’d be in a right mess.
Sorry about that bit of self-analysis. I wish the Neurologist would read this blog.

🤎 GENTLY GOES IT 🤎

Inchy Today: Wednesday 2nd July 2025

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s amazing what you think of in the shower,
In a bath, or on the Porcelain Throne,
Cutting tomatoes three times, I’ve stabbed Starmer,
Once, sat on the WC naturally all on my own,
Doing a crossword, trying to find an answer,
Got a Dizzy, & I fell off, and broke my anklebone,
In the ambulance, I remembered Asda…
When they substituted cough drops with a dog bone,
That must have been about 1998 in November,
I’d have complained, but didn’t have the backbone,
The funny things I recollect and remember,
Last month, I burnt my dressing gown,
Fishing, I’d puff my pipe of Erinmore mixture,
That could be why I never won a match fixture,
And today, up to now, I have not suffered a seizure,
In 1980, I bought my Nokia 100 mobile phone,
Got a new one, too complicated, like a megillah…
So, I went back to Nokia,
When I clocked for the micropsia,
I went and bought another,
I can’t recall its nomenclature,
It might have been Motorola,
I was no necromancer…
But I was an obtruder,
Changing the SIM, I cut my finger,
It bled on the Nokia, no, the Motorola,

A whiff of smoke, I’d left it in the charger,
Yet again, I went back to the Nokia,
I still use it, though we’re both much older,
I can’t see it, and I’m much deafer,
I’m tired and hungry; I’ll have a cob with tomato!
I’m losing the plot again, but no problemo…
Tomorrow, I may muse over crocodiles in the Orinoco.

I am sick and tired of listening to myself moan as things continue to keep going wrong.
Now (Wednesday), I could face a farcical first-time calling Carer for the three-hour visit I pay for. This is supposedly for them to have time to do the laundry, check the banking figures, advise me on mail received, and occasionally have time to mop a floor or clean the oven for me. Carer Joe used to get all these jobs done for me, and I didn’t need to worry.
Carer Ejaz, who has substituted for Joe twice, when I became more confused answering his questions about where things were and what to do.
I assumed Ejaz would be replacing Joe. But, No! I got a telephone call this morning from ICC (the Carer company). They are sending someone I’ve never heard of. Mind you, the phone line had terrible reception. (I wish they’d use the landline.) Either Jackie or Johnny will be coming this afternoon. It’s possible that whoever it is has been there before, and I’ve forgotten the name, of course. However, they will not be aware of my needs, and some of them will even take control and do as they please, ignoring me as if I weren’t there.
But how can I deal with the blog, the possibility of the Oligarch Meter installers working, and then Nurse Hristina 🤎 taking the blood samples? Possibly Matron Jackie calling, and or the Catheter Changing Community nurses and the Neurologist who failed to call yesterday might get through. All this, and I have to stay aware of what’s going on around me. What needs to be done hasn’t been done, or has been missed altogether. However, my EQ just gave me good-jibes about whoever comes to do the extended Wednesday visit, positive.

Let’s face it, I can lose track just talking with myself!
The slightest happening, such as a phone call, the doorbell ringing, or going to the toilet, is each alone sufficient for whatever I was doing, going to do, or needed to do to be instantly discarded from my previous diabetic dementia, but has now been changed. Having been recently reclassified
as Pre-Morbid Cognitive Impairment.
So what chance will I stand if those who didn’t come yesterday might call today, along with a strange Carer (I think), who needs to learn from me (Hehehe!) all the needs of the extended Wednesday visit?
Even if none of them call (Although J called to return the hand washing today, bless her 🌺).

Just a few photos, I’ll add further details of the Carers’ visit later on… I hope it goes well, but it doesn’t bode well for the future if it does not!

No shave. Two visits to the Porcelain Throne, both needing a good clean-up after the evacuation was completed.

The pins and plates were in better shape today!
I received a phone call on the landline. Oh, more joy, it was from my DVT Nurse, Hristina.
To advise me that she would be calling to take blood for the Warfarin INR test in the morning, between 10:00 and 12:00 hours. Lovely!🤎

I went onto the balcony to take a shot of the view.
Took this one of the old dilapidated three-wheeled walker, and forgot to take the view shot. Tsk!

I created the daily Ode eventually.

Care Ejaz arrived.

Call from ICC Carers. A Jackie or Jody will be doing the extended visit today.

I started this actual blog. Made a brew.

The long-visit Carer arrived. Nice gal, her name was Josie. I took my Kaftan off, put it in the laundry bag, and Carer Josie took it down with the laundry for me. On her return to the flat, she got the kitchen floor mopped for me. Did a good job. Then she checked through the food for out-of-date products. And wiped the inside of the fridge after.
Cheese, lemon juice, jellies, food colouring, yoghourt and a few other food items were put in the rubbish.

Josie helped me search for another elderly person’s mobile phone, but we couldn’t find one that charges from an electrical outlet. Not from a computer.

Josie went down to collect the dried clothes, returned and hung them up for me.
Time for her to go, a lovely gal. I asked if she would be doing the Wednesday visits each week. A shame that she didn’t know or not. I hope so!

I chopped up an orange tiger-tomato and some red onion and added it to the stew to be cooked in the microwave later.
Put the dish back in the fridge.

Then back on doing this blog.

I tried another search for a suitable mobile phone and found one for the older models that had a direct link between the charger and the phone. I ordered one from Amazon. Due on Friday.

Late afternoon shot.

The fridge after Carer Josie had finished. Nice!

The meal of the day, Stew!

I didn’t particularly run, more absquatulated,
The plans for the attack were soon abrogated,
The CO’s plans seemed so distorted, aberrated…
2nd Corp was soon abscinded,
The enemy got so aggravated…
Our armour arrived, defences were annihilated,
Remnants withdrew, not chicken-hearted,
Their ammunition, fuel, expended…
We were welcomed and adulated,
Winners, victors, it’s complicated,
Yet war is not globally hated?

05:30 hrs: I had a verbal and emotional argument with myself. The Inchy part of me wanted to get up and do the ablutions and medicationings, then get onto the computer and try to catch up with my blogging. However, the other, being in residence in my brain (EQ Inchie), wanted only to give up and stay in the comfortable, snug bed to try to get back to sleep again. We both partly agreed with the other.
As we argued, we removed the nocturnal bag from the day pouch, and things turned unwanted! A bit of panic as a rear-end evacuation started on its own accord – I fumbled my way to the wet room.

Carer Ejaz treated the catheter contraption
wounds and bruises.

Kitchen view.

Sweetcorn fritters were put in the oven.
20 minutes of cooking time.
Two hours later, I took the burnt food from the stove and threw it away.
Tsk!

A microwave meal is sorted.

Sorry that there’s not much on here.
I spent more time out of it than with it.
Mini-seizures, I assumed.

Grim: Ayup, what yer up to dumbo?
Inchy: Photoing the sunset, catching it low.
Grim: You like nature, don’t you?
Inchy: I used to like women, but now it’s a no-no!
Grim: How does it help, watching the sun go?
Inchy: It doesn’t, no cuddles or fandango…
No sex or snogging makes me feel so low,
Grim: There’s nowt I can do to help though!
Inchy: A bit of good news? Should I try Ginko?
Grim: Nae, it’s no good, does nowt for you!
Inchy: News? Is there owt I should know?
Grim: I’ll soon be telling yer to get ready to go!
Inchy: That’s alright, I want to talk to St Peter,
Grim: Oh, he’s a proper keen abnegator…
Inchy: Are you saying he’s real… St. Peter?
Grim: I shouldn’t really tell yer…
as you’ll croak out sooner rather than later,
Inchy: Yes, yes, okay, please tell me…
Grim: I really shouldn’t oughter…
St Peter was invented by a Grim Reaper,
Inchy: You? Was it you who invented Peter?
Grim: Well, yes, I had to make it obscure,
So earthlings would never be sure…
Inchy: Yes, yes, yes, tell me more…
Grim: I’d hate victim’s death to be vin ordinaire,
Inchy: I think you really care!
Grim: I do, I do, look at what we share!
Neither of us can have sexual rumpy-pumpy,
Inchy: Very accurate, not our fault, amazingly,
Grim: We’ve no friends apart from each other,
Inchy: Yes, all and sundry can, annoyingly…
Grim: Starmer is our mutual archenemy,
Inchy: True, spot-on accuracy!
Grim: Neither of us show animosity…
Although we both share an animosity,
Inchy: Do we really?
Grim: Yes, towards Heaven & Hell surprisingly,
You accept death most acquiescingly!
Inchy: That’s cause life’s gone miserably,
Grim: They’ll rebirth me, non-consentingly,
With no freaking regrets or apology!
Inchy: The swine, absolutely!
Grim: 2000 years plus, I’ve been reaping!
Without stopping or ever sleeping,
Not one soul collected ever went missing…
Inchy: They’ve treated you abominably…
Grim: Hence, I share your misery, Inchy,
Inchy: Anything I can do to help, possibly?
Grim: We face futures brokenheartedly,
You for not dying, me for reliving…
Inchy: What are you saying?
Grim: When you die, I’ll not collect your soul,
Inchy: Can you not make an appeal?
Grim: To God or the Devil, you cannot appeal,
Even I don’t know if they’re real…
their decision sends me apoplectical,
your world, soon to be mine, is adumbral,
Inchy, what should I be anticipating?
Inchy: Gun crime, motor vehicle crime,

05:00hrs: I woke up; the moment I moved, I was greeted with severe pains in my left & right feet.  Onychovryptosis Ingrowing Toenails, damaged during the cutting, I had to pay £35 for last Friday. Bad as the pain was, I think it was a smidgeon easier than yesterday, but that was absolute agony! I decided then not to have the diabetic socks put on today. But daren’t leave them off for too long. Or the leg growths will start to leak again. I can’t win! Haha! Honestly, I do try!
I removed and emptied the nocturnal catheter pouch. I poured some into an old clear plastic yoghourt pot for the Carer to assess the NHS colour grading chart for me later, and then I took a photo of it (5.5 on the scale)

Moving to the kitchen after imagining that I’d done my balance exercises, I stubbed my right toe against the ottoman. A few curses, with a fair degree of swearing later, ARRGH!
The same left foot with the big toe was the problem a second time. I took a kitchenette shot en route to the wet room to visit the Porcelain Throne. Trosky’s comeback from yesterday was short-lived.
Had returned. A reluctant whopper was eventually released into the water, which needed three flushes, then a prod with a bamboo cane and a third flush to encourage it to the sewer. I hope it doesn’t cause a blockage. Hehehe!

07:00 hrs, Carer Ejaz arrived. He seemed happier today. I think my saying the socks will have to be left off and telling him why cheered him a little. The medications were issued, and he dabbed some barrier cream on the ingrowing toenails. Well, it might help. He also put some on the rough, thickening right ankle of .
Ejaz took these two shots of feet and poot little and big toes. The big toes seem to have gotten larger overnight? Is that possible? Both hallux toes also seemed to be curling beneath the other toes? Does anyone else out there have or had this before? The smaller toes seem to be more bent? Hey-Ho! Ajaz checked the torso for scabs, bruises, or wounds but found none. Well, a few new red-spot growths on the right top thigh. They come and go at will. After the lad had gone, I went to make a brew of Co-op 99 tea and took this snap on the right when I saw how the sky had reddened.

At 13:30 hrs, Carer Jasmin arrived. She examined the toes and applied some Savlon. She said the toes (the ingrowing pair) had been cut down far too much when they were cut, Jasmin said.

Carer ‘Joe’ did the teatime call; he’s a good bloke.

Baked potatoes in husks, frankfurters, and nothing else. Well, I had an ice cream cornet for afters.

Night shots of the dramatic-looking sky.
And a close-up to follow.
They had a dour beauty, do you think?

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Today, Three Nurses
With one hearing aid battery being a no-go.
Communicating and hearing was like an echo,
5 hours of visits, blogging went on a furlough,
Lots not done. Showering I had to forego,
One nurse checked me from head to toe!
Nothing on underneath my Kimono,
She was kind enough not to laugh, though,
BP was taken, all good, bar my temp a bit low,
All asked questions, a mental inferno,
Matron identified I’d now got impetigo,
One entered an area where few do go!
Appointments made to see a medico,
Arranged a visit from the Physio,

Neurology & Mental, I like it, I know…
Walker & wheelchair coming, out I can go!
Feeling cared about is totally Whack-O!

WHAT A FLIPPING DAY
AGAIN!
A Quick rundown.
With the few photos taken interspersed.

Before the mayhem started
A six-rated night pouch.

Seconds after taking this snap, dizziness and a sudden loss of balance hit me. (No idea what brought it on) It was still with me when Carer Ejaz arrived.
I tried to explain to him how I felt. I’m not sure if he understood me or if I comprehended what he was he was saying to me.
He’s a likeable lad, though. He got the prescription medications issued. Then, he fitted my diabetic socks. Ejaz rated the pouch-urine a 6, and then he hoovered the carpet a bit. Ejaz came up with a logical idea as to why I felt so distant, maybe because I’d been having a nocturnal seizure before getting up. A clever idea that was from the lad. On leaving, as per usual, we swapped a bit of Nottinghamian language between us, both saying ‘Tara!’.

I got on the computer to start updating yesterday’s blog. It was a bit of a slog, as I still felt oddly disoriented and confused.

I’d forgotten or failed to remember (Hehe!) that the JS food order was arriving early today. (Fancy that!)
Got the fridge stuff sorted.
Then, the freezer
Refilled the nibble boxes.
And the drinkies

Protection pads, kitchen towels, Bovril cubes, Maryland Vegan cookies, Kung Po sauce, a can of garden peas, and, to my delight, a loaf of my beloved Milk Roll sliced bread!

Putting the things away, I heard a clatter; something had fallen down between the cooker and cabinet.
I couldn’t see what, or where, it had fallen. So, I took a photo with the flash on of the gap. It turned out to be the spyglass that I had tried to clean last week, which I had filled with a mixture of bleach and water. I utilised the picker-upperer to retrieve the magnifier.
That spyglass is not having a lot of luck, is it?
I’m not either, it had broken!

The sun came out strongly, and I hung the thin dressing gown up on the curtainless rail.Ten minutes later, I took a photo of this snap through the window. Looking suddenly bleak?
Ten more minutes later.
The sun broke through again.

THE INTERCOM RANG
A nurse was on screen, and she shouted, “It’s the Nurse,” And the screen shut down. Thinking this may be a nurse calling about the seizures I’m having. I made my way out to the lift, as I’d never seen this nurse before. To greet her as she exits the lift and show her to the flat. Alway’s a gentleman. Hehe! I waited about half an hour. However, the nurse never made it to the flat.

I had another blast on the blog. I haven’t done much, and I had a feeling things weren’t going to!

Nurse Jane arrived from the… It’s a long name: The Community Rehabilitation, Falls, and Service for a  Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy Assessment Session. Questions and answers.

As she left, Matron Jackie Arrived.
A deep question-and-answer session.
I’ll cover both of the Angel, Mainly because I can’t remember which said what. I’ll use Angel to cover Matron Jackie or Nurse Jane, as I got confused about which one asked what and the advice given.

Jane took my blood pressure, including systolic and diastolic readings, Pulse, and temperature, after reviewing the record list on my Excel sheet. I mentioned how they had been a lot better over the last two weeks.

Angel said she would ring the doctor and ask for me to be referred to a specialist about the seizures. (If indeed they are seizures). They will get me a four-wheeled walker and try to encourage me to walk more. Referred me to a physiotherapist.
The Angels asked me about the seizures and the nature of the falls I’ve had. I couldn’t answer many of the questions on this subject, but I did tell them that falls have caused these after-effects, or rather, I corrected myself that the after-effects have caused falls. Loss of balance and giddiness may occur at varying intervals after each seizure. The matron called ICC, ‘Intercity Care Company’, and asked if Carer ‘Joe’, whom I had praised to her, could ring her when he got the chance. Angel said she is going to see if extra hours can be found to get the Carers to tend to my ablution sessions. Hmm?

Carer ‘Joe’ did the evening call.
I’ve still not done the ode yet!
Might have to make it a short one. But, as you may have noticed, I do get carried with them. Hehe!
He told me he’d rang Matron Jackie. Who told ‘Carer Joe’ that the wheelchair would arrive shortly?

I love it being cared for and about! 🌼🧡

I set about cooking the beef and vegetable stew in the microwave. I had everything prepared earlier and put it in the fridge, ready to go.

UPDATE as of 16:40hrs Tomorrow, Wednesday!
So far behind again. A small price to pay for the Angels who tended to me. 💗

THE MEAL
Beef and black bean ready-made meal, with a can of minced beef, flavoured with Marmite and Bisto.
I added a can of garden peas, some pickled water chestnuts and chickpeas from the fridge.
Very Nice!

Put the TV on to watch Heartbeat and had an ice cream cornetto. As I drifted off during the adverts, the mobile chirped. A message telling me the Amazon battery order was 8 stops away from me. Needless to say, I’d forgotten all about it. Tsk!

I checked on the tracker and thought the red disc indicated that it was outside the flats.
A semi-panic visited me. Amazon is infamous for leaving ordered goods downstairs in the ground-floor lobby to be stolen. So, I went down to have a look, but nothing was there. I dare not go out to look, as I had put on my slippers and Montsuki and forgotten to take the flat key with me, which has the fob on it, to get back inside the block of flats. I was nervous about leaving the lobby, thinking the delivery would arrive if I went back up to the flat.
SAVIOUR OF THE PROBLEM!
Carer Ejaz turned up. He waited for the van while I hobbled up to the flat to check in case Amazon had told me via email that it had been delivered.
WOT A PLONKER, I AM!
The tracker told me it was still eight drops away. Then I realised I’d looked at the red circle, which is where I live, a green one was where the van was!
How I got that wrong really annoyed me!
I went back down to Ejaz, who had kindly waited downstairs to collect the batteries, and then returned to the flat.
Minutes later, Saviour Ejazz came in with the batteries. Now, I can retake photos and get the clock powered up in the morning. Ejaz put the night bag on the bed and removed my diabetic socks. I had to reheat the leftovers of the meal later. Gave me some requested Peptac. Then he gave me a body check-over, barrier creaming my bottom, man breasts all around, my belly and both ankles that he thought were looking worse than yesterday. Bless Him.

I finished of the rewarmed big bowl of fodder.
I’d missed the Heartbeats again. However, I found a documentary about the 1940s and the war on a channel with subtitles.
Carer ‘Joe’ made the last call. Another gem here. He tends to understand my problems, and we had a little chat, and off he poddled back to his other half.

I may have to curb my blogging soon, as I have two more appointments this week and three next week already. Physio, the Doctor. Rehabilitation is then followed by the Disabled checks. A 4-wheeled walker and wheelchair are arriving, one tomorrow. Someone to go through the hospital beds functions with me. I am awaiting confirmation of the Audio Clinic, Glaucoma, and Neurology appointments.
As if it wasn’t hectic enough now! Hahaha!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I was feeling sorry for myself, quintessentially,
Dementia, loneliness, seizures lurked parlously,
A large bottle of cider persuadingly,
My brain was acting preoccupiedly,
Depressions, psych-asthenias, never free,
The cider was more prepossessingly,
Mentally, things buzzed peculiarly,
I should worry about things pecuniary,
I hadn’t a lot; now, no perspicuity,
My life is turning proverbially…
Am I going pseudo-hallucinatory?
I really don’t feel tensed or querulously,
Moments of genuine highs, then reality,
Inner visions of tangibility, palpability,
Then I lose this fantastic ability…
I accept this annoying fait accompli,
Life returns to being recessionary,
For just seconds, I react angrily,
I look again at the cider, splenetically,
I must address my shortage of specie,
A seizure grips, yet subconsciously…
I talk with myself untrustingly,
I see, hear nothing, turn sycophantishly,
Was I in a state of spatiotemporally,
Should I have bought cider or saki?
I bored myself, tautologically,
With the brain, I had a long tracasserie,
Self-hate, haughtiness & pomposity,
Nastily, offensively, vitriolically, but only to me,
On a downer, life’s a travesty!
Tonight, it might be cider instead of tea!

Sleep is not good…
Seizure rife…
But I’d not moaning… Oh, No!
6½hrs Kip! Not a lot…
But much better than the last four days.
No domestic help again.
So I spent most of the day cleaning.
Not much was done.
Sorry about that.

The nocturnal bag rating was a four!

First photo of the view.

I did my best, but things tarted to bleed. I gave up.

Ablutions & Medications; I dropped the razor shaving. It’s not worth saying, but only two nicks.
However…
Retrieving the razor, I trapped my arm amidst the trolley as Cartilage Chloe gave way. Just as well, I did cause the entanglement stopped me from going down and hitting the de
ck. Nice one! Got back to the computer and took this snap as I battled to understand what the messages were about that came up on booting. I still don’t know. I gave up.

Started the hand washing and airing.

What a hue the sky had changed to!

I noticed that somebody in the flat had not changed his c176 clock calendar date! Hehe!
So, I did!

Doing the cleaning as a mammoth job that did for me! It took me so long to get so little done!

Teatime delivery from Ocado.
Costly!

Got some chips in the oven for the evening meal.
Oven chips in the oven.

At last, a meal I enjoyed!

Sandra’s Mini-Seizures kicked off, and she stayed for a few hours. I wanted to try the computer again, so I left it until the morning (which turned out to be Sunday night) to try and get it finished.

Inchy: Sunday 16th February 2025

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Inchy: Grim, is this call fer yer soul-gathering process?
Grim: Well, it ain’t exactly going to be posthumous,
As yer not dead yet, let alone redivivus!
Inchy: Oh, aye, were yer bein’ punctilious?
Grim: No, it’s a social call, I wasn’t bein’ serious!
You don’t greet me with any doubtfulness?
Inchy: I see you as my saviour & retiarius!
Grim: Have you been on the drink? Is yer stocious?
Anyway, what does that mean, retiarius?
Inchy: A word I got from my thesaurus…
Grim: Oh yeah, you lost yer word list, gonna tell us?
Inchy: A Gladiator with a net, called iaculums…
Way back in Roman or Greek civilisation,
Grim: In the arena, I saw some action…
Inchy: Did yer go in a gladiators competition?
Grim: Aye, in my last life, I was an egalitarian …
Inchy: You told me yer was a Roman!
Grim: You don’t know that word, do yer; egalitarian?
Inchy: Is it an island in the Mediterranean?
Grim: Life was good then, full of adventurism,
Mind you, we discovered anthropotheism,
3.000 years earlier, I became a theoretician,
Life before that, I was a Pelasgian,
I put my head in the mouth of a lion…
I died at the Roman Coliseum,
Inchy: We seem to have had a lot in common
Grim: Yes, you shot in, & I got stabbed in the brachium
I enjoyed this natter; some folk won’t listen,
Inchy: Does St Peter show contradistinction?
Grim: On a bad day, he sees humankind’s failure
Of course, he dare not tell his gaffer,
The one in Heaven or the Beelzebubian?
The last souls I took were a proper motley collection,
An oligarch, terrorist and a politician…
Inchy: Of Heaven &Hell I’ve many a conceptualisation
Grim: I’d think when I collect souls for incineration…
You’ll be full of expectation, scepticism, apprehension?
Inchy: You’re right there, Grim, there’re cornucopian
Grim: Gird yourself for destruction & disputation,
Inchy: So, like Earth then, it’s full of desolation?
Grim: There’ll be billions in the queue waiting,
They’ve had to widen St Peters’s gating!
I’ll tell you when to stock up on your Amoxycillin,
To make time pass, they say to go Angel-watching,
Eventually, you’ll get through the brainwashing!
To Earth, 99% will be returning…
Where they can slowly die again, starving,
They’ll live in caves until the Earth starts exploding!
Inchy: Well, I’m so glad to hear you explaining!
Grim: Haha! Fear not, for I was just teasing!
Inchy: For a while, then, life was not so depressing.
Thanks, you certainly had me laughing!

BEST WEEK FOR YONKS!

A BAD AFTERNOON & NIGHT
THE MORNING WAS FINE.
Sorry, not a lot on from PM.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Woke without any .
I did miss him. Haha!  was easier than she had been for the last two days. Bless her!
The Ailment Excrutiatera of this Sunday were & . In the latter part of the day, the SS’s repetitions were scary.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
I didn’t wake up until 05:00hrs. And did so without the neck twitches! I got the
removed. A dark shade today. I’d had a good 6 hours of sleep, mind you!

I had hurried, but I don’t know why I hurried, stand-up wash & shave (three cuts). The medications all went well, and then I got seated on the WC in anticipation of another solid, not-wanting-to-escape torpedo to be evacuated. I got the crossword book and pen, as I settled…
One minute later, the splonk-all-gone Trotsky Terence controlled evacuation was all over!

To the kitchen, taking some snaps of the view.
Both of them turned out badly.
Unfortunately for me, Shaking Shaun gave me a bit of a mini-battering at the time.

I got carried away for hours with the Grim Reaper Odeing.
I found it difficult for some reason or other formulationalisations of this Ode. There’ll be a reason for this.
If anyone knows, please let me know. Haha!

Carer Shaq called, and we had a snow shower when he was here! He took the camera and tried to get some snaps that showed the snow falling. He realised the Shaking Shaun was visiting and helped.
No snow on this, but there was outside.
No snow on this, but there was outside.
No snow on this, but there was outside.
No snow on this, but there was outside.
That was a waste of time. Hehehe!

Carer Kimberley arrived. Medications given.
What I believed were Myoclonic Seizures kicked off. These ones are where I carry on doing things without realising it. They hounded me for the rest of the day. Not good.

Eric’s Electric Shocks joined in later, but no bad ones, and they were not overmany.

I made the second mug of Co-op 99 tea bags.

I went back to blogging and Coreldrawing as soon as I completed it, then did a disastrous job of getting the Ode onto the top of this blog. With seizures and the occasional Eric’s Electric Shock joining in, I’d had enough, and I will try to get it all sorted out later. The colours I chose kept changing, and I couldn’t figure out why or what I was doing wrong.

I was feeling a bit of a mental wreck when Carer Ali arrived.
But he cheered me up a smidgeon.
After he was done taking the medications and taking off my socks, I decided not to give in altogether and caught up with the WP Reader and comments. Getting hungry now!.

NOSH
Ready meal. Added some Marmite.
Milk Roll bread defrosted.
Lemon Yoghourt.
Nice!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Due to a change in circumstances, my blog will have to get smaller starting Monday.
There may be the odd day when it cannot get done.
Many extra tasks to find out how to do them and then get them done. The first one tomorrow is to remember how to order the medications directly. Carer Richard informed me I have to phone the chemist each Monday after checking the stock and let them know what needs to be done. If the Seizures are as often as today, I’ll ring to get an appointment with the Doctor. Life is getting more complicated now.

Poor little sausage! Hehehe!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

04:55hrs: After an often-broken sleep caused by dear  , I still got about 5 hours of sleep in bits, so that wasn’t too bad; I woke most unenthusiastically. I pondered over things as I sat there on the £300, second-hand, c1968, charity shop-bought, eyesorely-horrendously grungy coloured, Harold Haemorrhoid-testing, easily-falloutable from, unfit-for-use, not working, recliner, not fully aware of things, trying to figure out why I felt like this. I put it down to my having woken up with an activating seizure. My confusion started to clear after a few minutes. But I still felt a little off-kilter, mentally. Voids in my memory, despite believing I had been dreaming, there were no indications of what of. Annoying that, innit?
I eventually, gingerly rose from the £300 second-hand, most uncomfortable, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, creaking, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working recliner and caught my balance. I took off the Nocturnal Catheter pouch to free myself to start the short mini-exercises… Well, that was the plan.

Within seconds of starting the stretching, I was on the floor, with a decent bruise on the forehead gained on my way down to the carpet. I still have no idea where or what I hit my head against. It all seemed to occur so quickly.
Getting back up was as easy as it could have been, with me landing next to the recliner. Obviously, it was painful clawing my massive, flabby body back up into the recliner. Sensing that this was much more painful than usual, I considered pressing the Help Line Alarm. As my head cleared again, there was no blood at all coming from the wound, just hardly seeable scratch and bruise. I went into my Sherlockian Mode and realised why it hurt me so much, and I found the cause of the original tumble! Yes!

Had given way. I feel sure! After a few moments. The head bump was painless and only was hurting… until a minute later, when Took over as the ‘Head Ailment’. Confusion Konrad remained. And I’m not sure all this is in order of happening now.
I forgot all about doing the balance routine after that.

I’m not sure why, but I thought a mug of tea would be a good idea or of any benefit. But I made one and adjusted the old-fashioned clock-calendar.
I nipped to photograph the morning view from the kitchenette window. Misty and cold out there again. This snap came out all right. But I thought when taking it I saw a planet, albeit a tiny one, on the top left. No signs of it?

Carer Selina arrived. She noticed the bruise on my head. I made her laugh, telling her how it happened. Haha!

Back to my blogging. In ten minutes, I had five short visits . Then, nothing for an hour or so.
And back she came, I had to give up, for fear of making so many mistakes that I didn’t realise then and losing hours of precious time to correct them. Humph!

I got pm Word to write the day’s Ode.

Came back on again.
I had to give up again. I will sit down and wait it out, hoping it will not be another long one. They seem to tire me out.

Shasha is one of Tim Price’s
Colony of Cats. Bootiful!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Made a meal and settled the football game.
There were two FA Cup matches to watch, and I did not move out of the recliner for hours and hours.
I took this in a break between games.
The first one was Plymouth Argyle beating Liverpool!

Made the nosh and settled down to see the second match.
Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspurs.

Then I realised that Quatermass & The Pit film was showing on the same channel after the footy.
1967 FILM NOIR
They don’t make them like this anymore!.
From 1953 to 1967, They made three Quatermass treats.
The first one was made for a TV series. But, 40% of the original tapes have since been lost by the BBC. There are DVDs, but they have a lot of missing action. But I loved them them all.
The TV one was poorly scripted, badly acted, and as for ‘Rocket Ship’ landing in the house’s bedroom, without destroying it… well, it was part of the fun and mystery. This was given the title, The Quatermass Experiment. The film concerns three astronauts launched into space aboard a single-stage-to-orbit rocket designed by Professor Quatermass. A TV series.
Then (1953) QUATERMASS II film. Strange metallic meteorites rain down over Winnerden Flats, an eerie new town near a strongly guarded chemical plant. Professor Quatermass discovers that contact with the meteorites causes an unusual infection. He is also astonished that the chemical plant is modelled after his design for a moonbase, where life can thrive in an artificial atmosphere. Investigations uncover a conspiracy that extends from the Government level to the zombie-like workers who will stop at nothing to protect the plant. Quatermass deduces that aliens from one of the moons of Saturn travel to Earth in the meteorites, possess human minds, and share knowledge through a collective consciousness. I loved it! Especially with Sid James getting killed in the pub on Winnerton Flats.
Ah, Memories!

.
The last photo was taken as I looked around to ensure I had not left anything on that I shouldn’t have. All looks good!

I’m off to bed now!

I got about four hours’ worth of Kip! Great!
