GM GreensLWD 0.50.0 2 02:10hrs: I woke with two voices talking to me, both apparently, mine? One said “Sod-it, go back to sleep,  soddum all!” the naughty me. The other, obviously a more conscientious me, said, “Don’t mess about, it takes you that long to get anything done nowadays, here is your chance to get caught up on your CorelDrawing, come on, gerrup!” The naughty me won this argument, and I drifted off back into slumberland!

4Thu16WD 0.50.0 2 05:00hrs: I’d been having a bad dream, where I was being chased by a gang of armed, vicious, blood-thirsty hoodlums again, through demolished offices, I sprang awake. Passed wind violently, and the innards started churning and rumbling, and a tummy-ache of Defcon Two proportions kicked in. My immediate thought, was, is this through those damned pork and leek sausages I ate last night? They looked almost white, the skin was three or four times the usual thickness for wienerwursts, I was a bit doubtful about eating them at the time. But I think not, cause they were very mild with a delicate taste of leeks, any pork flavour had done a bunk.

WD 0.50.0 2 I had no option other than to get my still aching from cleaning up the flood mess body, dragged off of the £300, second-hand, c1968 recliner, with some difficulty. Arthur Itis and Back-Pain-Brenda being the main culprits. Grabbed the stick, and wobbled to the wet room.

WD 0.50.0 2 And to think that I thought yesterday’s last visit was a painful one! This was a painful one! I almost tired myself out with all the agonising force needed to get things through. But at least, the bleeding was no worse, and not a messy evacuation.

Washed, and off to make a brew and take the medications. Toothache Terence wasn’t too bad for once, so no extra painkillers were taken… of course, I’ll probably get a Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, Dizzy Dennis spell, or Shaking Shaun attack and injure myself later, and end up taking one anyway. (Depressed? Lack of Confidence? Anxiety? Insecurity? Self-doubt?, Self-loathing? Nervousness? Defeatism? Negativity? Pessimism? Demoralised? Despondent? Melancholia? Me? Yes!)

I took a couple of snaps of the view outside. The mist was clearing, I just wish the fog of depression would go away from me.

5Fri01

WD 0.50.0 2 On to the computer, and made a start on the updating of the Thursday post. It became a tad farcical, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were on and off, which meant it took me even longer than I expected. Saccades-Sandra kept making focussing difficult at times. But neither were consistent, they keep coming and going. This was getting to me today. Hours were lost in just correcting things done wrongly through the senseless fingers or Sandra’s blurring of vision. What with the floods that were my fault, the struggle to sort out food, not being considered at risk, so no food parcels, I fear that depression is coming over me again. Sickly, pathetic self-pity! Humph!

5Fri05I made the comments on WordPress and then went on the Reader Section.

My usual heart and enthusiasm were not with me. I didn’t, couldn’t, seem to snap out of it this morning.

I checked the emails, I can’t work out if the virus situation is getting easier or not. Confirmed cases seem to be getting fewer. But, of course, there are millions of people who have not had any checks yet, so, if they check fewer patients, the figure will go down? And the deaths recorded are only those who died in a hospital. The hundreds who have died in care homes or their own home are not registered. According to the Guardian newspaper anyway.

WD 0.50.0 2 Boy, I’m on a downer today!

I emailed the blog link and pressed on, stutteringly with this blog.

The landline tinkled and flashed. Sister Jane, who was out shopping, to get some eggs on Central Avenue in West Bridgford, rang me from the ‘Social Distance’ waiting queue! She said she was at number 18 on the list.

It really cheered me up a bundle, when I was informed that she and Pete had had there weekly freebie box of food delivered today. Fruits, canned goods, pasta, toilet rolls, vegetables, sauces, rice, cakes, bread etc., oh, I was pleased for them! I’m not complaining really (much!), I did get a loaf of bread and bottle of milk last week from the Nottingham City Council.

It seems I am not ill enough or do not have sufficient ailments for me to qualify as in need, for any food parcels. Nottingham County Council, give them out to fit people of the same age as me. Who are pools and lottery winners, have been left a fortune by unknown distant relatives, retired at 32, live in a mansion, on a tree-lined avenue, with a bus service at both ends of the road, car-owners as well! Luckily, this does not bother me.  Hehehe!

WD 0.50.0 2 Well, I might add something to the list of my ailments (Which are, Reflux Valve sticking, Mechanical Aorta Heart valve fitted, Duodenal ulcer, Hernia, Ever bleeding piles and awaiting a strangulation operation, Peripheral Neuropathy, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ischemic stroke, given Clopidgrel in hospital and found to be allergic to it, but it’s in my bloodstream, and blotches, lumps on the ever-changing legs have to be contended with now. Dizzy spells every day, At risk for falls, Saccades, Thrombophlebitis, and Neurotransmitters dying (right side of my body) which makes walking and keeping balance very difficult. Deafness, Warfarin for life, Bladder cancer. And now Stuttering-Stephanie (along with the deafness) is making life and communicating a bloody nightmare at times!

WDP 02LcBut this list above is not enough to get a food parcel. I’ll see if I can catch something else to add to these and try again. Depressed? Me?

5Fri08I went to make a start on prepping for the meal later. I got some canned potatoes in the saucepan, (Took them out of the can first, mind) and added some hoisin sauce and hickory.

WD 0.50.0a 2 I emptied the beef in onion into the pan with the potatoes. Unfortunately, Nocodemus’s nerve ends failed while I was pouring in the hickory, the whole lot tipped into the saucepan! I spent the next hour or so, keeping nipping in to extract some gravy and add boiling water, to weaken the juice. Boy, it was intense! Hehe! Another mess to clear up. Tsk!

The mist had cleared. I took a photo of towards Nottingham. Then zoomed right in to try and get a decent shot of the high-rise student flats right in the distance (Near the centre of the panorama photo).

5Fri04

A lady Vapour was taking her three doggies for a walk. I tried to catch all three dogs with her in one shot, but the younger one was very lively. Hahaha! I did manage to get one chance.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

Well, I wanted to do some more graphics, but Saccades and Nicodemus decided I shouldn’t.

5Fri33So I got the nosh sorted out. I had overdone it with spilling the hickory into the stew. I and to remove a lot of gravy and weaken it, before serving it up. But it was worth the effort, it tasted most delightful! The flavour rating was a worthy 8/10.

I got it all slowly masticated and digested, got the washing-up done (Slow job).

The door chime rang out, and I stumbled to the door. It was Robert. Our caretaker, he’d kindly brought me a bottle of bleach. I think I must have mentioned to him on Wednesday, about not being able to get any. Kind of him. I ignorantly did not offer to pay for the bleach, I was half-out of things with Dizzy Dennis having a go at me at the time. Sorry, Robert, and thanks. Saved the day for me there!

WD 0.50.0 2 Settled to watch some TV, got my head down a bit earlier today, in hopes of getting some sleep in for a change. (Oy vey!) The self-derogatory thought-Storming started almost straight away! On, and on they flowed. Eventually, and thankfully, I nodded off…

WD 0.50.0 2 The landline rang and flashed, I struggled to get to the phone in time. I was the nice lady from the NCC Support Team. But Stuttering Stephanie came online, and the worst visit ever, I could hardly get words out, and when I did, the poor lady could not decipher them. Then said, “You don’t sound too well, I’ll ring you back later another day.” I thanked her, but then again, I think I thanked her and seemed to find myself back down on the recliner, with a blank period in between talking and getting sat down.

WDP 1LcbSleep had decided it would not return again, I’d upset it I think with keeping getting up.

I spent hours, musing, thinking, Thought-Storming, and passing wind!

Inchcock Today: Sun 12 Apr 2020: Sister Jane, called me a poindexter today. I’ll look it up later. Hehe!

GM 128.0.10005:25hrs: It took me that long to get to sleep, I slept through to 0525hrs, I can’t recall any dreaming though. But waking up didn’t seem like a reasonable idea at the time.

I’ll tell you why. As I manipulated my overly sized body mass, to jiggle a bit, to work out which ailments were active this morning;

WDP 1LdWD 150.0.100 First thing as I hedged my bulk to the right. The Pillow-Shaker Fire Alarm activated. Naturally, this diverted my disease, injuries, and bodily-scars, seeking plans, as I fumbled to get my hearing aids in, grabbed the walking stick, and with ears peeled, I went to investigate the reason. A sort of delayed realisation came to me, and a semi-panic took a hold.

  • WD 150.0.100 My apartment fire alarm was not going off, so I assumed it was the main one, which I have to open the front door so I can hear it. I did the usual touching the door handle with the back of my hand to see if it was hot. (I was pretty pleased with myself for remembering to use the left hand, in case Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters that fail on the right side of my body were on strike, [I became Smug-and-Satisfied temporarily]) Had the nerve-ends gone into failed-mode, they would nit informed the brain, and I just might have opened the door to be greeted by a wall of flame or black smoke in the mush. But no sounds heard, so I went to check out of the kitchen window to see if the fire brigade were on site.
  • WD 150.0.100 Not an easy job, with these new thick-framed, view-blocking, rain letting-in windows. The wide window ledges that stick out far too long, mean I have to stand on the stepladder to see the view below! (I bet this isn’t mentioned in the Nottingham City Homes advertising or commercial bumf anywhere!)
  • wd 150.0.100A WD 150.0.100 I had to go through to get the stepladders from the junk room and managed, with no difficulty gave myself a cracking, whinge-making toe-stubbing against the ladders as I tried to carry them and the stick back to the kitchen!
  • wd 150.0.100A I opened the dangerous unwanted, unliked, fear-giving window, and as I climbed up to take a look outside, I hit my Arthur Itis-ridden knee against the corner of the ladder platform. (I think I might have said something like ‘Oh bother!’ at the time) It took me several injuries, and a lot of time, before I found out, there are no fire engines anywhere.
  • WD 150.0.100 I gingerly alighted the stepladder. Ad sense, logicality and obviousness came over me (A rarity indeed!) I asked myself, “Why the %☺@$ hell didn’t you just go on the balcony to look? I had many answers to this self-imposed question, but none of them was realistic, believable, or sensible! My confidence, never high at the best of times, sank a little more.

I took the stepladder back. It’s hard work carrying that with the stick, a bruised toe, and a very-most painful patella; I can tell yer! As I went, I maundered on at myself and realised things were not going get any better, my EQ told me. I was mentally preparing for some type of zemblanity, disaster, or general disappointment.

Having aboulomania, pathological-indecisiveness, a lack of confidence, and inability to do anything about this makes life difficult at times. The bad memory, insomnolence, and Stuttering Stephanie don’t help much. Hello, I’m wavering toward self-pity again! Come on Inchie, buck yourself up, take it like a man… well, imitation man, at least!

I got the area around the £300 second-hand, c1968, sickeningly beige-coloured, not working recliner cleared up! I could not see any signs of nocturnal nibbling, but things were not in their usual places or positions, and slow but sure, the various ailments started kicking off as I tided up a bit. Fluid-Retention Robert had filled the legs a bit more. Blotchy Belinda has visited the groin area. Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding, and the blood had dried (I’m not looking forward to the medicating at all!). Clopidogrel Clive had removed no end of his spots and odd marks overnight? Reflux Roger and Hard-Breathing Boris were giving me some gip! Toothache Terence was back. And now, Colin cramps has just started on the hands and fingers.

7Sun01I tried to get a delivery slot from Iceland. It appears the yare fully booked until next Friday. Shame!

WD 150.0.100 Computing, template, the updating for hours. By the time I stopped, I had a hatred of Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, and they’re forever failing and returning, failing and… Never mind! I checked on the Amazon situation regarding the deliveries.

7Sun02

Looking good. The Mini-cheddars ‘Pickle flavoured’, should be here today. I must resist tearing the box open to get at a bag. Hehe! The wristband alerts for Warfarin will be arriving, of course, how long it will be until these ones split and break is anyone’s guess. They are from a different supplier, and a lot dearer than the others were. So, I hope that means they will last longer.

The ablutions were started much later than planned, with all the cockups and tribulations this morning. I have to make Josie’s nosh afterwards.

Back later.

I’m back.

WD 150.0.100 Ablutionisationing Report: Only the one cut shaving. A new bruise, but feeling more content.  The bruise I got when picking up the dropped bar of carbolic soap in the shower. (I can’t see myself getting any more carbolic ever again. It was hard enough to find even before the lock-down! – Sob!) I banged my knee on the grab rail while showering, I’ve a little swelling to remind me of it. I did drop the showerhead again, but grabbed at it, caught it in time, (Godsmacking innit!) and pulled it to my body, hitting a certain delicate, but redundant nowadays, part on my anatomy. (Ouch!)

7Sun04WD 150.0.100 After drying off and cleaning the shower and sink. I had a look at the ever-morphing pins. Bit for meat on them I thought, then realised it was Fluid Retention Fred’s doing! Another oddity, (my life is not short of them!), was the new bruising the knee, was showing up as white? Well, I’ll be blown! Clopidogrel Clive was attempting a comeback as well. Belinda Blotches was visiting the legs as well. And, the usual for me paleness and anaemic, whiteness, had gone a, well, I don’t really know what colour it is, deep cream or a gungy spotted pale brown?

WD 150.0.100 As I was getting dressed, Colin Cramps had a go at my hands and fingers again, causing me to drop the body spray can. I couldn’t help but the funny side. My dropping things are usually controlled by Nicodemus, Shaking Shaun Dizzy Dennis and occasionally a perhaps a Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance from the right leg. What if they don’t like this imposter Colin Cramps doing their job? I’m losing it here!

7Sun06I got the bit of handwashing done, not a lot, as Paul Daniels used to say. The bath towel, and the thin dressing gown. No socks, the damned sock-glide isn’t going have me today! I got the towel done wrung and hung, then did the gown, and hung that in the wet room.

7Sun07Now, this makes me sound demented and a bit odd, (Fair enough I am!), but can you not see an expression of the sock-glide on the shower chair?

He looks awfully pee’d off to me. My having avoided any conflict or battles with him for two days now (I’ve not worn any socks, Hehehe! That got him!). Is he angry or sad? Perhaps he’s missing the little lumps of my finger-ends his deadly spring clip usually provides for him? Is he annoyed the Nicodemus has not made me drop or fall over it lately? The ailments rarely all come on together, but they may be planning an uprising! I’ve gone again, lost it!

7Sun03Time to get Josie’s meal prepared. I didn’t take to long to get it ready. The cheesy potatoes, (the highlight of the meal my customers tell me), had to be made with Sainsbury’s substituted for Leicester grated cheese, a mixed bag. I got it served up for the gal.

The mixed grated cheese had Mozarella in it, 7Sun04anot the tastiest of cheeses, and when warmed up got very stringy. But, beggars can’t be choosers! Without Jenny’s help, I wouldn’t have had any cheese to use. Stuck like glue to the utensils! I left the cutlery soaking in a bowl of washing up liquid and bleach for a few hours.

Not only did it get me in a mess that needed extra cleaning, but it was tasteless! But for my share, when I get it, I’ve some caramelised red onion chutney to spice it up. Hahaha!

I got carried away in making some small Good Morning photos, and side shots for the blogs, it was soon nearly 16:00hrs.

WD 150.0.100 7Sun11I went to visit the Porcelain Throne, and midway through the evacuation, the intercom chimed out! It was the Amazon man, with the highlight of the day, the pickle flavoured min cheddars, the wristlet alert bands and some pots to use to separate the seasoning.

7Sun05WD 150.0.100 I left the box until I had done the chipping off of the Mozzarella cheese from the cutlery in the bowl.

It came off okay, with a little, no, much effort and elbow grease!

7Sun12All three items were there. I got them sorted, and could almost taste the Branston Pickle flavoured mini cheddars as I did so. The pots had what I wanted in then the screw on lids, as opposed to the snap-on ones I have at the moment. There are times when Nicodemus’s 7Sun12anerve-end die on me, and it’s difficult to sense if the lids are on or not.

Not haven eaten due to my getting too involved with the CorelDrawing, I realised it would be a while before I can get my nosh. So I took a bag of the mini-cheddars from the box; and what a pleasant, serendipitous, wonderful discovery! They were 50gr packets, not as I  had expected, 30gr. I made a brew and gobbled a full pack, by gum, they were great!

WD 150.0.100 Well, the fatigue dawned, but did I stop CorelDrawing, did I ‘eck as. I was on a roll, almost as if I was on a drug-trip! I had to concede defeat to the fatigue in the end. I was struggling to get the computer to close down. my heart sank. If I lose this outlet to life, it will be life-changing.

WD 150.0.100 Then, as it does to me so often, I realised I had totally forgotten about the cheesy potatoes in the oven! Spittling-Splurging-Sparrowhawks! I scuttered to the kitchen to check, almost tripping over the walking stick in my haste.

WD 150.0.100 Ah! All was well, which momentarily confused me. How could the mash be in the oven for over three hours and not get burnt? My question was soon solved when I realised I had not turned the oven on! Well, I couldn’t remember turning it off from doing Josie’s potatoes?

I’m getting worried about my mind and memory of late.

6Sat01

My much-missed mug. RIP!

Anyroad, I put two of the Iceland beefburgers in with the cheesy spuds and turned on the oven. Draycup! I made a brew of tea, and for some unknown reason. I began to mourn the loss of my old pottery mug. It was genuine remorse, but why?

I reckon the mind is on its last legs. Tsk!

WD 150.0.100 I went to turn off the computer and was not sure if I’d hit sleep or turn-off. I fancied I’d put it on sleep, but then I’d turned off the power. I turned the juice back on, and completely forgot to press the mini hidden button, and panicked a bit! Thinking my pressing sleep, and turning off the plugs, had damaged something. It really is scary, when you forget how to turn your computer on! I was in two minds whether to mention this at all. But, in keeping with my reveal-all policy on blogging, I did. Well, you know that cause it’s written here. I’m going off-line-logically a bit here!

WD 150.0.100 I spent so long sorting out what I had and hadn’t done with the computer, and got it going alright again (Sigh of relief the size of Asia!), by the time I got back to the pots and burgers, they really had got burnt! But not too much for me, luckily I like them well-done, like this!

7Sun39I got the plate filled. Took the med’s with me, along with the fodder, Clementine drink, and the light lemon yoghourt.

The potatoes were really not good at all, the crispy bits, when applying the caramelised red onion chutney, were okay. The cheese, well, I might as well have not used it, so weak and tasteless it was. The tomatoes were not too bad. Surprisingly, the burgers were great! I wish I’d got more in now, Humph!

1Mon06aWD 150.0.100 This made me try again to get a delivery slot from Iceland. Nope! The nosh was granted a rating of 5/10, passable, just, thanks to the beefburgers; that I cannot get any more of, the lemon yoghourt and clementine drink. The medications tasted the same as usual, 10/10, Hahaha!

I got the pots washed, and tried purposelessly and unsuccessfully to get some sleep. Morpheous wasn’t having it again! Even the little two-minute nod-offs were absent without leave! Grobbledigrooks!

After hours of trying to nod-off, I perused the TV channel guide, and to my pleasure, unpremeditated serendipitously found that a Red Dwarf extended film was just about to start on the box. Aha, great, one of my favourites and I hadn’t seen this one before! Oh, joy abounded!

7Sun40I rang Sister Jane to advise her of Red Dwarf about to start on the gogglebox, thinking that xyrophobia-suffering, left a fortune in a will of someone he didn’t know, pools and lottery winner, who retired at 50 years of age and has women chasing him, tall, good looking, well-built, Brother-in-Law Lucky-Pete liked Red Dwarf.  It was not an easy conversation, Jane was on the Bollinger Brut Special Cuvée again. Hehehe! I’ll get in trouble for telling of that!

About an hour into the 2-hour Red Dwarf programme, and enjoying it immensely, that damned Morpheous came on, and I missed the rest of the film! Waking up with a start, as the closing credits were scrolling down the screen!

WDP 12bThen, could I get back to sleep again? Nope! I lay there for another couple of hours, Thought-Storms brewing, self-hatred, fears, worries, they all pestered me, before getting to sleep. For three hours!

Life is not a bed of roses!

GM GreensLWD 0.40.0 05:20hrs: I finally stirred, after luxuriating in about three hours sleep. Which was tormented by dreams of a disturbing nature, of which I have only impressions, no real detail, other than it took place underground, and ghouls were in there somewhere?

Despite the scarceness of kip, I almost bounded out of the £300, second-hand rickety recliner, within minutes of my waking up? Clutched at the walking stick, and made my way dodderingly to the kitchen…

I got to the kitchen, took the medicines, applied the medications; Saccades-Sandra drops, olive-oiled the ear-holes, tincture of the tooth, creamed the Harold’s haemorrhoid’s, Phorpain gelled Arthur Itis’s knees, and made a brew, all without the need of a wee-wee or the Porcelain Throne! This was not natural?

WD 0.40.0 Booted-up the computer to update the Friday post. And had to create a template for the day first! But it was a marathon job, Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley, Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun all giving me a bashing. The worst, being Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitter nerve ends, continually working and stopping, making typing almost impossible. I was continually making errors without realising it and having to make corrections. I have no doubt there will be many that I missed, which is disappointing and frustrating.

WD 0.40.0 The knowledge that I will eventually have to stop doing these blogs, as it gets harder and takes me longer every day, and knowing they can do nothing to help, sometimes get me down. But while I can, I will. I love doing them. Trying to add a bit of humour to them, must help me, in a fashion. Hey-ho, moan, groan and whine, over!

Having, many hours later got the job nearly finished, and my xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete called. Obviously, the lad hadn’t received the link yet, and he likes to read it early in the day with Jane. We had a natter, and I noticed that Stuttering Stephanie was with me again, getting more frequent lately. Anyway, he and Jane sounded in fair spirits.

Jane nowthenThey have had their big monthly parcel of food from Nottingham County Council delivered. Marvellous I thought. I quoted something along the lines of, A pool’s and big lottery winner, with a car and an electric bicycle, who live in a mansion, have been left a fortune in someone’s will, get their food hamper delivered. I’m told that because my aorta-valve replacement is not disabling enough, I don’t qualify. The peripheral neuropathy and dying nerve ends, the Stroke, using a stick or trolley-guide to walk, Dizzy Dennis, falling down or into something almost every day. Dropping things several times every day, Shaking Shaun and Shoulder-shuddering-Shirley, Duodenal Donald, Reflux Roger sticking, Hernia-Henry, being deaf, Nicodemus’s neurotransmitters dying, having Arthur Itis (Rheumatoid arthritis), don’t seem to matter to anyone else but me! It’s a good job I’m used to suffering and pain, innit! Pete did laugh! That cheered up.

I got the link sent off. Went on the WordPress Reader, and got this blog started. It took me 7 hours plus, to get this far. I fear the time is getting close to having to stop, this really gets to me. The very thought of it, brought on my depression, like never before. No point in fighting it. I stopped and went to make a brew and have a look outside, see if any of the dog walkers were out, so I could photograph them. Disappointingly, no one was about. But, I did find some photographs I’d missed off yesterday, of some doggies taking their humans for a walk:

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

I all but dropped the Nikon camera, coming back in from the window again! Darned good job I had the wrist-loop around my hand! Phew!

The rest will have to be in shorthand I’m afraid. The ailment was taking over, and everything took so long. Sorry. It’s hours past my normal head-down time already.

6Sat15Posted off the ailment, and started a template for this blog. As I started to create it, the doorbell chimed out.

It was Amazon, with the Nasal spray and Clementine juice.

6Sat16I opened the spray box and left the heavier juice one in the hallway.

Back to the computer, and all sort of problems developed! The landline rang and flashed. It was Jenny, bless her. Her Sainsbury’s order had 6Sat17arrived, and Frank was on his way down with the items I’d asked to be added for me.

I hurried to put them away. Jenny had kindly written a list for me. That’ll £26 plus £13 I owe her now. The shop had substituted some bits. Mini cheddars, which I’m not too keen on, and last week they did the same, a double size pack as well. I’ve got the pickle flavoured ones arriving tomorrow via Amazon as well. She’s got some lemon yoghourt though. Tomato juice, washing up liquid, cherry-scented? And a tub of salt. Bless her cotton socks!

I tried to get the computer to take the photographs but ended up having to do it in a long-winded fashion, which cost me even more time.

I rang Jane and Pete to get my mobile number, cause I needed it to get back on the photo site. But I was too late, and it timed-out. So now, I don’t know where the heck I stand with it all.

Rang Jenny back, I was gasping a bit and Stuttering Stephanie was on form! I thanked her and told her I was going to go to the bank on Monday to get some money to pay her what I owe her with. She kindly said it was Bank Holiday on Monday, so I can’t get it then! Tsk! We nattered a bit, and we decided I’d go on Wednesday. She generously said she would write a note for me to give the taxi driver on Wednesday, asking him or her to wait while I go ion the bank, and bring me back afterwards.

Then I did some updating on this blog, but not for long. I need rest and sleep badly now.

I stopped and decided to get something for a meal. The easiest will be bacon in the oven, and a tin of tomatoes, I can use the last of the bread up with it.

Not feeling so good now. I hope to be back in the morning, to finish things off. TTFN.

Sunday Morning: 0545hrs: Updating.

6Sat18I got the meal, I had a can of tomatoes, added some vinegar and hickory to it. The bacon, I cut of some of the fat and did it in the oven. Got it served with the medications. For once a good tasty one. Flavour rating: 7.5/10.

Got the dish in soaking, and had a go at the computer problem again.

WD 0.40.0 I had more bother with the computer. Had to supply a password that was my mobile number, but I couldn’t find what it was! I rang Sister Jane at the Bratton Towers, and she and Pete eventually found it for me. But by the time I got to put it on it had timed-out! So, no progress there. Tsk!

The TV on, but of no interest, however, the need and desire for sleep were being ignored by my body and mind.

The landline burst forth and flashed. Sister Jane, concerned about the computer locking me out. Thought it might be hackers. I told her about the lack of sleep problem, saying how it doesn’t matter now about being woken up, as I can’t get to sleep in the first place. I think she might have been upset a smidge, and rang off, thinking I was moaning about being woken, which didn’t matter at all in fact.

This irked me, and I range her back, but no answer.

Switched to another programme and there was an interesting documentary on an underground city in France, and how the military had used it over the years. I thought my xyrophobia-suffering, chaetophorous, anti-epilation Brother-in-Law Pete might be interested in it. I rang again and got through this time.

There I was enjoying a great natter and chinwag with Jane, and I thought I heard a beeping noise. This was annoying me, I told Jane, and I went with the mobile in hand to have a look around. I was giving a running commentary as I investigated, but, could not find the source! Then a bleep-bleep, and I lost the connection.

I got back in the rickety recliner, and tried to ring back ‘This number is unavailable’. Huh!

Then I actually fell asleep!

Coronavirus, pavement cyclists, wars and insanity! It’s a funny old world, innit?

GM DbrownLWD 50.0.0 03:30hrs: I came back to imitation life, with my body sat on, as opposed to laying on the £300, second-hand, sickeningly beige-coloured rickety recliner, that my xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete broke when he was flat raiding and stealing my valuables while I was in the hospital. (I must remember to ask him for them back, but I might as well talk to the wall) My feet rested on the serving tray on the floor. Crumbs and bits of bread were stuck to my feet, trapped in the folds of my pharaonically-sized stomach folds, and I even fund some in my right ear-hole! What the deuce had I been doing overnight? What a moyshe kapoyer I am!

As some focus, brain usage and limited concentration came back on-line, memories were triggered. I recollected eating the meal and falling asleep with the tray on my knee last night with the prospect of the much-absent sleep dawning, I drifted off… But by gum, I needed it! I got five hours in. Mind you, how long I spent nocturnally wandering and rearranging things in the room, I don’t know.

WD 50.0.0 I took a rather surprisingly ferocious wee-wee. Then off to the wet room with the GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-Wee-Bucket) to be emptied and cleaned and disinfected. I was caught-out again when I needed to use the Porcelain Throne, having been twice yesterday, and needing another. A painful session, and so bloody! So, more cleaning and sanitising were required.

I decided to leave the cleaning up of the bread crumbs until later, when I could use the hoover, without disturbing any neighbours sleep. To the kitchen.

5Fri01WD 50.0.0 Notwithstanding Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failing a few times, I took the medications, pain gelled poor old Arthur Itis’s knees and Shaking Shoulder Shirley’s scapular. Olive-oiled, the ear holes, sprayed Saccades eyes. The over-the-counter Haemorrhoid cream was used. The nasal spray used, and the Vaseline was applied to my cracked lips. Then, with gritted teeth; I grabbed and squeezed a clump of my sizeable, flabby dominated stomach area, and stuck the Enoxaparin filled hypo. Pushing in the warm, tingling mixture of Enoxaparin – Formula (C26H40N2O36S5)n: Which is metabolised in the liver into low molecular weight species by either or both desulfation and depolymerisation. I wanted to sound clever here and copied this off of the leaflet that was in the box. Of course, I knew all of this before… Hahaha!

Then made a brew of my beloved Thompson Punjana tea. A warm glow came over me, as I remembered getting the new stock, along with some Glengettie in from Amazon yesterday and now have enough to last me for a good while. A gratifying, and almost exhilarating feeling!

WD 50.0.0 I did try to use the Pill-Splitter again on the large 80 mg Atorvastatin boulder… I mean tablet. But just as when I have tried before, the ‘Splitter’ could not cut it, the blade got bent and distorted when I tried to use it. Most disappointing, I had to imbibe the crushed bits of tablet and powder left, by licking my licking and dabbing my finger to get it. Hahaha! So, I now have a tablet-crusher instead of splitter! Hey-ho!

I got on the computer and soon had the Thursday Inchcock Today updated and finished. Thanks, mainly to Nicodemus, Shirley and Shaun all being so remarkably calm?

I made up a template for this post. And went to make a brew and get some caramelised biscuits to nibble and dunk in the Glengettie tea filled mug. I took the pictures below from the unwanted, thick-framed, light & view-blocking, anti-photographer designed new windows that let the rain in.

5Fri05

This mist lingered on for a few more hours. Then as I got back with the brew, I thought I’d do a search for the Coronavirus updates on the web.

WD 50.0.0 I got an odd feeling as I did so, Sister Janet was coughing? I don’t know where this came from, but it concerned me, and it is too early to call her yet. She is not an early bird. I’m getting the shpilkes about this!

5Fri06I had a look up at the latest figures for the pandemic on Google. They are here on the right-hand side. They make bleak reading.

The fact that the USA has a population of 328.2 million, and the UK a total of 66.27 million, shows that we are being hit a lot worse?

5Fri007c

WD 50.0.0 I am well known for my mathematical incompetence, suffering from Athrithobia and numerophobia (although I am not affected by hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia), and am having difficulty in working this out. I’ll have a go at the calculator.

No, it’s just not there. The mind blanks arrive when I try to figure things out numerically. Humph! Back in my school days, I’d have got the cane, several clouts around the head, or both for not 5Fri12being able to get this worked out. I worked my way through the fear, and at one time, in Tesco in Duckworth Square in Derby, where I was cashing up 24 tills, and dealing with the Green Shield Stamps issue, without a problem. Then the stroke arrived, and since then, I have been struggling back with the phobia! Humph!

I waffled on there again, sorry!

I went on the WordPress reader. Then on CorelDraw, but got a lot of bother with the workings of the programme, and gave up. Did some TFZer Facebooking.

5Fri13♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out from the pressed door buzzers. Aha! It was an Amazon delivery. I now have stocks of the wonderful Gengettie and Thompsons Punjana tea, Marmite individual pots, pots of porridge, and the bitter-tasty San Benedetto Clementine juice, to last me hopefully all through the rest of the lockdown (I hope).

5Fri10

I’m getting short of places to store things again in the kitchen. The unused bedroom (Junkroom), is getting over-filled again. But I have teabags, some bleach, toilet rolls, bamboo socks, kitchen towels and preciously, a load of PPs (thanks to my mate Michael) in there now! Only the medications need serious attention now. Jenny helped me again with some antiseptic and corticosteroid cream.

I got on the computer again, CorelDraw is really causing me problems, never mind Nicodemus’s neurotransmitters dying-off, bother me as well! Grumph! Had to give up again.

The current situation with Amazon outstanding orders are, I think:

  • Friday: Nasal and eye spray.
  • Saturday: Another box of 24 Benedetto Clementine drinks might come as well. I looked up Benedetto, expecting it to be an area of Italy. It came out as Blessed, or Saint Benedict of Nursia (480–547), often called the founder of Western Christian monasticism. I don’t know why I bothered telling you that?
  • Sunday: Branston Pickle nibbles – Warfarin-Alert Wristbands
  • Tuesday: Medical screw-top pots
  • Thursday 16th -20th: Trousers. Both of the last two pairs bought from the market have holes in the pockets, the linings have split open or both! I don’t want to go out after such a long time and get accused of flashing. Hehehe!

I received a call from a pleasant-sounding lady from Direct something or other. NCC, as was the man who called yesterday. I was finding it difficult to hear all of the words spoken. And remembering everything is not easy. I thought I’m written something down about it, but cannot find any note? Reflux Roger, and Stuttering Stephanie, along with Deno deafness, all made things difficult for me.

But the lady was very kind and patient. And I’m sure I did much more of the talking than she did. It was so lovely to talk to someone who listened. I told her my life story almost, in between stuttering, gasping for breath and hiccuping. Hahaha! This was the highlight of the day for me. I gave her my blog name, and she said she’d have a look. No actionable help was needed at the moment with the shopping, I thanked her for calling.

WD 50.0.0 Much more verbiage was bantered and shared, but with the state of my memory, it’s not easy to recall. The most annoying thing is there may have been something important to record. Making me more agravannoyed with myself for losing the note I wrote!

5Fri11WD 50.0.0 I got the meal sorted out. Nothing like I thought it was going to be earlier on. Algerian tomatoes (Crap!), McCains oven chips (Horrible!), Baxter’s beetroots (Bland!), a cheese lump (lousy, insipid), Buttered bread and smoked ham Dry, tasted aged, the butter was greasy?), A shame, I thought I just might be coming down with a cold, and that has affected my taste-buds? Even the apple was crumbly and floury! Saving grace? The apple pies and the can of the tangy, bitter-tasting clementine juice, I liked them! Flavour rating; 4/0. I didn’t eat anywhere near all of it.

I got washing-up done and fleetingly thought of the possibility of my doing the handwashing. (I didn’t!)

Got settled down in the £300, c1968, sickenly beige-coloured, second-hand, not-working, Broken by my xyrophobia-suffering, chaetophorous, anti-epilation Brother-in-Law Pete. At the same time, he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward, and stealing all my valuables). With a bottle of spring water, some yoghourt covered cashew nuts, and the GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-Wee-Bucket) disinfected and nearby in readiness for later use.

WD 50.0.0 It really was heaven, as the eyelids drooped, with the promise of the rare and resistant sleep, was on its way. But no! I’d forgotten to take the evening medications! Reluctantly, I clambered out of the chair, grabbed the four-pronged stick and hobbled to the medical drawers and got out the medicines. Took the tablets, then, medicines. (No Enoxaparin injections due again now until further notice). Got earholes olive-oiled. Sprayed Saccades-Sandra’s eyes. Nasal sprayed the nose and throat. Phorpain gelled Arthur Itis’s knees. Had a gargle of TCP for the sore throat.

WDPleftGot the Clobetasone Butyrate cream, and went to the wet room to clean up Little Inchies fungal lesion and applied the cream (I usually do this in the WC room, cause my screams of agony cannot be heard and disturb my neighbours with the door shut). This is the second most painful of my medicalisationing sessions.

Occasionally, the Sock-Glide battles can be just as bad. I don’t know who designed these, but obviously, they did not give a thought to anyone with the shakes or dizzy ailments and might be averse to losing finger ends, blood blisters, stubbed toes, and to having lumps of flesh torn from their legs! It may have been Jack the Ripper, or Dr Harold Shipman?

5Fri14

I freshened up and returned to the uncomfortable old recliner, and settled again.

WDP 003gWD 50.0.0 As per regular nightly, the Thought-Storms began, and during this session. I wondered if I left the tap on in the bathroom or even the sink? It was ghost-like, weary, frustrated Inchcock, who somehow or other, forced his elephantine stomached body up on its feet again and limped to check on the taps, lights, stove etc. top make sure all was safe. I don’t think this is an Obsessive-compulsive disorder OCD. It seems to be from my lack-of-confidence base? There must be a word for it. Anyway, all was okay. I got another bottle of spring water and returned to the, that by now, seems to be laughing at me, recliner. Hahaha!

WD 50.0.0 The lighter nights, crap on the TV, and my unsettled state of mind were all preventing my nodding off! I lay for hours, I even considered counting sheep!

WD 50.0.0 All the tossing about and moving trying to get in a comfortable position to encourage sweet Morpheus to take over my body and mind; must have cracked open Little Inchies fungal lesion! For I felt the warm wet trickle from the lower regions. Again, crying was an option, but anger was a stronger emotion! Why me?

Yet again, I got up, trying to keep calm and not have a tumble or bang into any furniture or door frames, off I poddled, chin-low, bottom lip wobbling and feeling sorry for myself! I got in the wet room and went through the usual dreaded medicationalisationing procedure. The pain didn’t seem so bad this time, that was because the leaf had not had time to harden, I assume. This actually took my Fed-Up-Defcon from2, down top Defcon3! Hehe!

WDP 4RWD 50.0.0 Now, as I was going into the hall, I think I had a bit of good luck! (Yes, it can happen, it did in 1952 as I recall). I caught the right middle toe, stubbed against the bar of the clothes airer – and felt nothing! Obviously, this may be part of the reason that the cleaning and medication of the lesion, was far less painful, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were obviously not working! And this warned me to take extra care when touching anything solid or hard, and not rely on getting any sensation or feedback! Thus, I was going to make a brew of tea, but I stopped my plans. Who knows for sure, nobody, but it may have stopped me getting scolded!

WDP 20194Of course, it did nothing to help me get to sleep! I carefully made my way back to the imagined grinning at me now, recliner. I put the TV on, and to my greatest pleasure, Red Dwarf was just starting! Then I found out another episode was following. No problem with staying awake tonight. Old seen-before ones, of course, but I so enjoyed watching them.

It must have been around 02:00hrs when I had to get up to use the wee-bucket. Accident-free, I got back in the chair and fell asleep! And had a dream-ridden kip for three-hours or so. Every little help’s! It was well-gone 0500hrs by then.

I can get depressed, you know. Humph!

TTFN folks.

GM07RWD 0.0.128A wd 0.0.128 04:00hrs (The latest getting up time for months): I stirred and waited for the brain to catch me up. Which it failed to do in time apparently. Cause as I began to manipulate my grossly overweight-stomached body from the recliner, ‘Thud-thud’, I ended up on my knees! Fell off of the c1968, rickety recliner, knocking the swivel chair over to the cabinet as I did so. Which sent the nibble pots off of the arm and rolling all over the floor. The knees were stinging, caught my head against the other chair arm as I twisted in a vain effort to stop myself going down, and a few selected naughty words were silently muttered! (I hope they were silent, anyway) I crawled on all fours to gather the nibble-pots, the yoghourt coated cashew nuts thankfully, didn’t burst open! Phew!

I tackled the job of struggling to get back up, in an almost nonchalantly, blasé, laid-back manner, and I was seated back in the recliner again within a minute or two! Yes, I know, it surprised and shook me too!) I stayed there to receive a brain-storm for a few moments. Not the usual self-recrimination, hatred, and confusion this time. I merely accepted the incident, felt thankful that it was not worse, and got the taste for a mug of tea! (Honestly!)

4Thu01When I got in the kitchen, I spotted the moon was out again. But, being so much later than yesterday, it was more distant and further to my left.

I tried my best to get the lights below in the shot I took. I took me about five efforts, this was the only decent one out of them all!

I found a certain degree of, well, almost confidence creeping in this morning as I made the brew. I was singing to myself and whistling in between? I’d coped with the earlier Whoopsiedangleplop and Accifauxpas with no bother. I was feeling upbeat, and this worried me a tad!

My EQ told me that things were going to get hectic. No reasons or outcomes. Just things were going to get frantic, and soon! A shudder went through my body, and I foolishly ignored this warning and carried on singing to myself, as I took the medications, and took the tea with me to the computer. I did feel what must have been close to contentment and relaxed with it! This is not natural for me!

4Thu05My first job was to make up the template for today’s blog, which took a long time. Thanks to Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters going off and on-line at will. Got it done, and checked online for the virus figures. Not very good.

Then looked at the Emails, and sure enough, an Iceland order was arriving today, twixt 15>1700hrs!

I decided to get the ablutions done next, as with my getting to a semi-live state, so late, it was now gone eight! (No charge for the poetry. Hehe!). I put a long-sleeved t-shirt and pair of socks to soak while I got the shave and stand-up wash. Off to the wet room.

4Thu03WD 0.0.128A As I got in the doorway, the need for the Porcelain Throne arrived, it couldn’t have come at a better time! But it was again a start-stop operation.

Which let me have another go at the crossword puzzle solving. I got a few as well!

WD 0.0.128A When things started moving again, just like yesterday, it was ‘Klunk’ and all over and done with. Apart from the cleaning up, of course. No medicating, not with me about to have the stand-up wash and shave. The doing of the teeth, ave just one dropsy, the toothpaste. No cut gums this morning. The shaving was a little more accident-prone, though. Dropsies included: Shaving foam can (2), razors (6), and the after-shave bottle that I was using to stop the (3) cuts bleeding. However, no toe stubbings, and the sock-glide, I laughed at! (I didn’t put any socks on, Hehehe!) Most of the dropsies were caused me Nicodemus’s failing nerve ends.

Medicated the areas in need, olive-oiled the ear holes, Saccades sprayed the eyes, got the Brute and deodorant applied. One blessing here was that Little Inchies fungal lesion had only bled a tiny bit. Ah, nice!

4Thu04But I still felt in a perky mood! I dried off and got dressed, all bar the socks, and went to get the handwashing done, wrung and hung. For some reason, the ones I did yesterday still needed more drying time?

WD 0.0.128A You can see in this photograph, the diamond strengthed leakage from the air-vent, that the Nottingham City Homes maintenance man left me with on the wall years ago now. And it ran down and hardened all over the electrical socket! It still pees me off when I see it every day.

4Thu15I got the black bags sorted, replaced the bags in the waste-baskets (4), and took the full ones to the waste chute.

I spotted the new to me, but it would be, my not having been out for so long, a sign asking for only one person in the lift cage at any time.

When I returned to the apartment, I thought I make another brew, and try to drink it this time. I took another Co-codamol that a mystery resident had so kindly given me, to counter the toothache I felt coming on again.

4Thu10a

4Thu16There are plenty of aircraft/jets out today. How do they keep to social-spacing in them, then?

Back to the computer, I’ll get the thing started eventually, Humph!

WD 0.0.128A ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out again. Looks like my EQ was right, doesn’t it?

It was Riechsfhúreress and Catwalk Model Warden Deana. She was handing out Easter Eggs from the Nottingham City Homes, for everyone. Bless em!

4Thu19dWD 0.0.128A I got back to the computer, and sat a moment, wondering if using it would bring another interruption. Just as the now even more familiar, ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out again. It was caretaker Robert, with a big bottle of milk and a loaf of bread for me! I thanked him muchly for the loaf and explained that I have plenty of milk in at the moment. Slipped him a G & T in thanks.

WD 0.0.128A Back to the computer, I typed maybe five words, and the landline flashed and rang-out! It was a chap, this time from the Ingeus Diabetic course runners. He went through all what the lady did yesterday. Nothing really sank in, the line was that bad and with my hearing, Tsk!

WD 0.0.128A At last, I made a start on this blog. For about five minutes, and the landline flashed again!!! It was the man from Direct Help. I explained that is was a fortnight ago when I spoke with the lady, and things have improved since. As I have got through for an Iceland order delivered since! With the help of Jenny, I have some stuff arriving Sunday, I think, that will hopefully fill the fridge and freezer up. So there is no requirement for help now, there was three weeks ago, but no one called as expected. So, I should be fine for a while. I told him of my five-week wait for the Morrison order, that’s due a week on Sunday! He told me to ring him back in a fortnight if I needed any help with shopping then. I asked him for the telephone number. He seemed surprised that I didn’t have it on my phone. He gave it to me, anyway.

4Thu19EWD 0.0.128A On the computer, once more. And the intercom flashed! It was the Iceland delivery that I can’t remember ordering!

WD 0.0.128A Now, my friendly, warm, upbeat mood was changing.

WD 0.0.128A I got yesterday’s blog sent off, and made yet another attempt as doing this update. Guess what? The landline lit up and sounded again!

It was the cat-walk model and Warden Oberstgruppenfhúreress Deana. She had some questions that needed answering for Nottingham City Homes. I don’t know how the ILC’s (Independent Living Coordinators) are managing with all the extra duties and hassle they have to put up with, Bless em all! I got myself very confused, and being so tired again, things weren’t sinking in, well they were, but not staying in the memory bank!

WD 0.0.128A I got back to the computing, and the dreaded, feared, damp, and warm sensation spreading about in the lower regions was sensed! Botherations and blasticulisations! Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding! So, off to the wet room again, for cleaning and medicationalising.4Thu14

The task was more manageable and less painful than I expected, for it had not dried on, much less hassle! I had a wash afterwards and noticed that the old ankle scar looked like it wanted to return again. (Dangwangling, Dangwangles!)

I gave the hands another really weep clean. So much so, the yare getting all wrinkly again. Tsk!

4Thu13

And, how can I get some more carbolic soap? It was hard enough to get before the lock-down and self-imprisonment! (Gribbledockends!)

I went to make a brew, and I noticed a man and his dog down on the bottom field. It was different, and funny this time!

4Thu19c

The man threw something, a ball I imagine, but this dog was not having it at all! The hound plopped itself down on the grass, with no intention of moving! Hahaha! The chap could not get the animal to move at all. He got his mobile out and made a call. I wondered if he was walking the dog for someone, and calling for advice? A few possible funny scenarios went through my head.

WD 0.0.128A Then, ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out from the door, again. Unbelievable! It was a delivery man, I didn’t see him of course. But there was mail been delivered, and a box on the floor.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

The reading of a letter, pretend signed, by Boris, while the poor bloke is suffering in the intensive-care ward, was a strange thing. To me, anyway. Good and bad news from the blood results. Good, in that with it being Bank Holiday, they always leave the next test for longer. This time, it is not until the 21st of April. Which means, my Blood Vampire Angels will not be seen until then! Sob, Ululations, & Woe is me!

Finally, I got this post done as far as here. It only took me fourteen hours, as well. Humph!

At last, I got the Iceland order looked at properly. Their offer of two boxes of Gold corn flakes at £1 off for two, I had apparently taken advantage off. I vaguely recall thinking that if Jenny didn’t want them, she would know of someone who would, Nora perhaps? I gathered the things and bagged them, then called Jenny, to tell her I would drop the bag off at her apartment, in a few minutes. Which I did. It felt odd, after such a long time, to use the lift again, almost scary! Haha! If Jenny does not want anything in the bag at all, it won’t matter, cause I know she’ll soon have some worthy person to give the milk, Cereals etc. to, who deserves a bit of help.

4Thu19gBack up to my flat, didn’t anyone out in the building at all going either way. It felt so eerie, and reminded me of my recurrent dream of being chased and shot at in a crumbling building, by gangs of unpleasant persons.

I took a picture of a panorama shot of the scene 4Thu19foutside.

A man and his dog, sensibly kept their distance from the two young girls in the bottom field, as it looked like they were asking for directions.

I’m feeling weary now, but the toothache is no worse, the coughing has eased, and my mood was getting back to a good one.

Fodder decision time now. I chose to have bacon sarnies. Mainly to use some of the crap, watery, tasteless bacon I’d got! Tsk! I might have a tin of tomatoes with it instead, then use the bread to dunk with. Or something else? Hahaha!

I’ll be back in the morning to finish this blog off, I hope.

I’m back!

4Thu24I ended up making Halloumi cheese sticks and bacon in the same oven tray. I made up bacon sandwiches, caramelised chutney, an apple and some lemon Vienna cakes. And a can of the delightfully tangy Clementine juice.

The halloumi was okay, and the bacon was much better than yesterday’s offering. This is because I took Tim Price’s advice and poured the hickory over the bacon as it cooked, and as a result, it tasted a lot better. Flavour rating: 7/10.

WD 0.0.128A I didn’t even get to do the washing up, I fell asleep with the tray on my knee. I woke hours later, with the tray on the floor and my humungous body half out of the recliner.

I thought about picking up the dish, plate and crumbs… Zzzz!

GMX0603:20hrs: I woke, having had all of three hours actual sleep. The body and mind were not interested in waking, moving, thinking or getting out the uncomfortable, £300 second-hand, c1968, sickenly beige-coloured, rickety recliner. Together for once, the brain and body agreed, and I turned slightly to a more comfortable position, to nod-off in.

WD 0.40.0 As I did so, a deadly wet and warm bottom-blurp ‘Plumf!’ escaped from the rear end! That ended any chance of nodding off again! For it was followed by a movement developing from the innards! How the heck I managed to get to the wet room on time, I don’t know.

WD 0.40.0 It stuttered and stopped half-way again, like yesterday. All I could do was grab the crossword book, grit my teeth at the pain, and wait! Which is what I did! After a while (and a few puzzle clues answered [Oh, yes!]), The evacuation started sharply again. A sort of Shploosh, plop, plop, plop later, it was all over! The blood flowed freely on wiping things. A good wash and medicationing session, finding Inchies Fungal Lesion had bled during my sleeping hours (All three of them!), the most painful of areas to medicate.

I did have a moment when I asked the Lord, why me? But he didn’t answer!

Washed and antisepticated the touch-points, and went to the recliner room, to check if I’d knocked anything over in bumbling rushed attempt to get to the Porcelain Throne in time.

WD 0.40.0 Oh, dearie me! signs of nocturnal nibbling lay all around the chair! Guilt dawned on me. Then went away again! When I realised it was not my fault, I was not in control of my mind while I was sleeping… Then the guilt returned when I recognised that nowadays, I not in control during most of my waking hours either! Hahaha!

I cleaned things up, not properly or with any enthusiasm mind.

3Wed02WD 0.40.0 I sat down on the computer chair, to reach some missed bits of what was a masticated cheese biscuit, and… I’d sat on an old RAOB medal, the pin bent as it went in my bum, and my spirits sank at so many things going wrong so often! I also noticed a bruise on the arm. Closer inspection, revealed it was not from yesterday’s blood taking, but most likely from the Clopidogrel. It’ll be gone within 24 hours, but a new one will come-up somewhere else. Tsk! I’d like to know how the pin got on the swivel chair in the first place?

I could get depressed, you know! Grubbulisations!

WD 0.40.0 I got on the computer, by the time I should have been finishing off the updating of yesterday’s blog – then made a start on doing it. Humph! But got sidetracked, by the mind coming up with a bit of a funny ode idea, about Coronavirus.

WD 0.40.0 So, got it written and posted off. Then, I got on with the Tuesday blog updating at last. Got it done, and went on the TFZer Facebooking, and forgot all about sending the blog off!

WDP 1LWD 0.40.0 I got the ablutions seen to, just in case anyone from the Diabetes Ingeus, The NCC food parcel sending avoiders, deliveries from Amazon or the Clinic called or phoned me. What a mess! I cut the gums cleaning the teeth. Had four cuts shaving. Dropped the razors (several times), the carbolic soap (three times), shower head (twice), and the towel (twice)! I cleaned up and medicated areas in need.

WDP 1LbWD 0.40.0 Then on the way out, I knocked the standu[ clothes airer over with the togs on it! Stood it back up, bent down to retrieve the clothes, and clouted my head on the corner of the wet room door!

The Lord was still not listening to me! The heuristics and problems of life, have become too much for me to cope with nowadays!

3Wed04I got the handwashing done, wrung and hung.

I got back to the computer, and Sister Jane rang me, mentioning the funny ode, adding that the diary had not been received yet! The line was difficult to hear again, kept fading in and out. I foolishly, well, unthinkingly, replied that I had posted it to her and Pete. The urgent need for a wee-wee developed while we were nattering, and I shot off to the wet room.

WD 0.40.0 The wee-wee started encouragingly with a gentle trickle, and despite my best efforts and a lot of time, it got no further. Which puzzled my already tormented brain! This is when I realised that I had not sent off the Inchcock Today! Washed and disinfected, and back to the computer to send off the link. Pete had sent an email informing me he had not received it! Klutz! I replied with an embarrassing, but funny answer.

3Wed05An Amazon order arrived, it was the single servings of long-life milk. They should have a long expiry date on them. I was going to check them but forgot all about it. Twit! I struggled with the box and the walking stick, it took me a long time, but I did get them to the kitchen in the end. I stored them under the draining board.

I made a start on this blog. But it was interrupted, many times.

WD 0.40.0 The first one was the mobile-phone ringing. It was a lady from Ingeus. The line was almost useless, her voice kept fading in and out all through the long, convoluted unwanted conversation and question and answer time. I had to repeatedly ask her to say again if you please. It’s hit and miss if I got the messages properly. Checking the usual names, dates, contact number, Doctors, NHS number etc.. It was doi,ng my concentration no good at all. However, I think since they cancelled all of the Diabetes courses due to the virus, some money-manager has decided to run an online course, so they can get money out of the NHS for doing it. It is to start on Thursday 23rd April, at 10@00am, and I am to log on fifteen minutes early. The lady will send links and details to me via email. There was possibly more I should have digested, well, I know there was, but I think she took me asking her to say again, as an answer to some of the question, because she said ‘Okay’ or ‘Good’, and moved on to the next query. She was on that long, the battery ran out on the phone!

I put it on charge as the door chimes rang out! It was laptop dancer and Warden Hauptsturmfhreress Deana. She was handing out Easter Eggs from Nottingham City Homes. We had a distanced natter, and Josie appeared at her door. She did not look very well, and she shot back in while I was talking to her. Oh, dear! Poor gal.

3Wed06Back to the computer. Minutes later, the intercom flashed and sounded. It was another delivery from Amazon. Of 24 cans of clementine juice! I thought I’d ordered tomato juice? But still, they will do me fine, I like citrus juices.

Getting this box in, was more of a test of my limited resources, with it being so heavy. But we got there.

Then I realised how late it was. Well beyond my usual head-down time. My breathing began to come a little laboured. But I wanted to stay awake, in case any of the NCC Assistance volunteers arrived. Four times now I’ve been told someone will contact me the next day. Still, waiting. If I knew their number, I ring them to tell ’em not to bother, after thanking them of course. Then, I may get some sleep? Oh, I’m getting bitter!

Updated this post some, and then thought I’d better get some nosh sorted out. Chips, bread & butter, last of the mushroom pattie, tomatoes, beetroot… yes that sounds good to me. And a lemon Vienna cake or two (they are only tiny, honest!) for afters, being as I am struggling to find any yoghourts or mousse available.

Only three hours sleep last night, and here I am, finding myself trying to stay awake in case the promised four-times visitor calls or arrives. My health is at risk here.

WD 0.40.0 As as I was prepping the meal, well supper by now, Dusty Springfields tune to ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ came from the door. I opened it, to see nobody out there. No parcels left on the hallway floor? I nipped out to the lift lobby for a gander, no lifts were moving, and I spotted the new sign; ‘Only one person at a time to be in the lift’. Fair enough with me!

3Wed32I opened a packet of the Iceland Pork & Leef sausages to give them a try, but I remembered I had some of the Surami fish stick still in the fridge, with a short use-by date on them, so returned the sausages back to the freezer.

WD 0.40.0 The cough was getting niggly and the breathing no easier. So I took the evening medications with an extra pain killer (the toothache was coming open the more tired I got) and had a gargle of TCP. Which, on reflection, was not a good idea to do just before eating anything! But I was so tired out and drained mentally, the old grey-cells were wandering a bit.

3Wed33I opted for, tomato sarnies, sweet potato fries, beetroot, Surimi sticks and seaweed snacks, with caramelised onion chutney, for the main course. And two teeny-weeny lemon meringue cakes, and a can of the clementine juice for afters.

WD 0.40.0 I noticed that the use-by date was only 20th April 2020! I wondered why they were so cheap! Haha!

WD 0.40.0 I’m afraid that the mess of a meal had many disappointing facets to it: The sweet potato fries, McCains brand as well, were horribly mushy and tasted only of sugar! I ate only a few of them. The Iceland wholemeal bread had already gone hard-crusted and dry! I broke off the crusts and ate two of the three – the crumbs were scattered all over me, the chair and the carpet! Tsk! The beetroots were tasteless! I left half of them.

3Wed06On the plus side, the Surimi, seaweed crispies, and pickle were all great! The lemon Vienesse cakes were mouth-wateringly acceptable! Perhaps the best came after I took the tray to the kitchen and cleaned up the bread-crumbs, was the Italiano Clementine drink. It was not sweet at all, but tangy and bitter-tasting, and that suited me.

A shame that I bought the last box from Amazon. Overall, the drink, Surimi and cakes, kept this nosh to a reasonable rating of 6/10.

I washed and changed into the night attire, feet up on the swivel chair – this was because the £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, grotty-gungy-beige coloured, c1968, uncomfortable, rickety, ready-for-recycling, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner, was not working.

3Wed34It was damaged by my xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete, he damaged it, while he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward, and he fitted new CCTC cameras, and searched for my valuables, which he found and took. The Peripheral neuralgia right leg, looked like the old ankle ulcer might be trying to come back again? I don’t think you can see it in this photo, but I knew it was there, the itching gave it away. Hahaha!

WD 0.40.0 Oh, I meant peripheral neuropathy, not neuralgia, sorry. I don’t think there is anything called that. Or how or why I keep calling it wrongly? I should imagine all the other ailments, mental and physical, have ganged up, to have another laugh at me. Hehehe!

However, after getting settled, I ate some yoghourt covered cashew nuts, and tried to let my fatigue win, and get some sleep. Amazingly I drifted of within what seemed like a couple of minutes.

WD 0.40.0 I woke a further few minutes later, with a jump! I cannot work out how, but in those few minutes, I’d had a marathon of a dream. Being chased through burning bombed flats, down the stairs from whatever floor I was on, being shot at and things thrown at me by my pursuers dying… No stick needed in this nightmare, I was running like the clappers, I had hair, that was on fire, and clocking in a timekeeping card in a reader, on each floor! But I don’t think I ever got down to the ground floor, at least, I can’t remember. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a nightmare like that. It proved the brain wasn’t completely dead. Hahaha!

GM00301:10hrs: I awoke, unmoving I lay there, distorted, half-hanging out of the £300, c1968, rickety-recliner, and recognised that I seemed to be in an accepting, open-minded, philosophical frame of mine. There was no defeatist, wallowing in self-pity, or even a sign of depression? Mind you, I wasn’t exactly cheerful, either. I moved my humungous-bellied body into a safe position to clamber out of the recliner, I caught my balance, grabbed the wooden stick, and made my way to the wet room for a wee-wee. Which was one of the reluctant USBUYWS (Ultra-Slow-But-Uncontrollable-Yet-Weak-Sprinkly) ones?

1Mon23WD 128.0.0 It took me so long, I needed the Porcelain Throne half-way through. And it was no mean-feat to reposition things to do that, without having an Accifauxpas! But I managed it, with the minimum soupçon of wayward sprinkling. The mystery bruise in the leg is lingering.

WD 128.0.0 The evacuation was not an easy one. Thankfully a swift effort, that was hurtful, aromatically challenged and bloody! Little Inchies fungal lesion had been leaking a bit too. A good clean up and a spot of medicalisationing here and there, and I was off to the kitchen! Olive-oiled the ear-holes

Got the kettle on, took the medications and took an extra pain-killer because the toothache was kicking off again. Made a brew. I noticed the moon was out and took these shots with the Sony camera, I did take others, but they didn’t come out too well.

The last shot was taking in Nightime Panorama mode. Thus, the plane’s trail and clouds can be seen. I liked that one. Smug Mode Adopted!

2Tue24I got onto the computer. An Email from Iceland confirmed the arrival of some food this morning.

No substitutes at all. But the Shortbread Fingers, Cheese & Onion Smash, 1-litre full milk, leeks, Cheese, and Bread Thins were cancelled. But I expected things to be worse. So, well done Iceland!

I was about to make a start on the blog updating for yesterday, and I had a coughing bout like never before. But it was a short-lived event, so I don’t think it was connected to the damned Coronavirus. A bit of a sore throat is developing too.

I had a look to see if Amazon had any of the Leicester or STiltom mini-cheddars on offer fro me to buy. Ha! Packets of 5-Stilton and Leicester flavours were nearly £7 for three! A bit too steep that price, even if I do like them, but not that much! However, with the Warfarin alert wristlet breaking yesterday, I ordered another one.

2Tue12I got the post updated at last and went to get the ablutions tended to, not realising how late it was. It was a rushed half-hearted affair, no shaving, as I had to get it done before the Iceland delivery arrived. I’m glad that I did now cause the delivery man comes within minutes. He left them outside the door, sensibly!

I was getting then inside, when the two, I say Two, Phlebotomy nurses arrived. Hristina and a trainee nurse who had been transferred from another section.

WD 128.0.0 I found myself struggling to breathe correctly. Now that can be put down to Coronavirus! Worried me a bit. The ladies soon got me done and were shooting off to their next patient, in a hurray!

2Tue11WD 128.0.0 I forgot all about the delivery I’d had delivered, and I got the handwashing done, wrung and hung.  Humph!

Before sorting things out, I took a moment to think through how things were going. The coughing. Breathing in a laboured fashion. The toothache getting no easier. Stuttering Stephany whenever I spoke to anyone? Headache coming on. I felt, well, I knew that Shaking Shaun was beginning to develop. A feeling forboding frequented the brain? It looks like being another busy day.

I got the Iceland delivery sorted out and the things I’d got in thanks for Jenny, were put in a bag, other than those that I needed to remember from the fridge.

I made a brew of Glengettie Gold tea, then back on the computer. For about ten minutes, then the intercom buzzed again. It was the Amazon man with some of the outstanding delivery items for me. Two cartons worth!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

2Tue22WD 128.0.0 I carried the bag of nuts into the kitchen, to get them in pots with lids… and left a trail of nuts on the carpet behind me! Yes, the bag had a hole in it! Mostest agravannoying. Well, that, changed me back into the feeling sorry myself, the wingeing old fart I was yesterday, in an instant! 2Tue23Neuroticisms!

I got things sorted out, but not very willingly or pleasantly! It took all of my spare lidded storage pots to get all the nuts packed away. Still, I must ask Jenny if she’s like any. They were bought to share, after all!

I emailed Jenny. She came down to collect the treats, but I forgot to mention the cashew nuts.

Jenny Emailed back mentioning the nuts. I asked her if she fancied a pot. But she didn’t. Humph! She told me to Email her if I wanted anything adding to her Sunday delivery from Sainsbury’s. That was kind. She also gave me her telephone number that I had lost. Along with all the others, when I swapped the sim into the old phone mobile) that I now use.

I rang her and asked if she would put some items that Iceland had not got on her order. Despite my not paying her yet for the last one, she agreed. She also said I should get a taxi into Sherwood, and tell the driver to wait for me, while I get some money from the ATM, and perhaps I can do some shopping at the Co-op. Then come straight back to the flats. I think she noted a certain reluctance in my stuttering voice. She offered to arrange a taxi for me when I get over this week and all the deliveries I have to wait in for. Bless her cotton socks.

2Tue02

WD 128.0.0 There are few I’m waiting for this week. But of course, the dates keep changing. And I am getting more and more confused. Haha!

But and however, I pressed on with this post. In the knowledge that I now have some smoked bacon to eat, with bread and baked beans! Mmm!

WD 128.0.0 I realised that the Golden Volunteer and the Nottingham City Council helpers, who said they would get in touch had not done so. Just like yesterday. Best if I give up on their kind help, it’s not coming methinks. They must be up to their eyeholes-busy anyway. And with my getting an order in, and with Jenny’s help, I can manage for a while. So much for the emergency food package. They need details anyway that I can’t give. Because getting an order in for delivery, doesn’t always mature. The Morrison order I got in three weeks ago, is not due for a fortnight yet! And then, there are missing items and substitutes. A good job I’m on the ‘At-Risk register’, or I’d get no help at all. Mind you, I’m not getting any anyway, come think of it! Hahaha!

WD 128.0.0 I got the bacon pack split, into the oven, and warmed the baked beans up. Thinking I’d try some of the Hickory in the haricots… Oh, dearie me! The inner sealer in the bottle cap came out and stuck on the bottle-top, so unthinkingly I tapped the bottle, and a third of the hickory shot into the beans before I could stop it! Ah, well! I’ll soon find out if this hickory is stronger than the last one. Hahaha!

2Tue25WD 128.0.0 Another daft idea. I thought I’d but what few mini-cheese biscuits I had left, in a pot. I opened the individual packets, and while I was pouring them in, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failed! I had crumbs all over the kitchen floor to painfully clean up! Inchyangulations! Time was lost, and the bacon was ready!

I turned down the oven heat and got the pot filled. I put some of the medications on top of it, intending to add the others later, and got the meal served up.

WD 128.0.0 I tried some of the beans while getting them in the dish. I can assure you, this ‘Stubbs’ brand of hickory, is no stronger than the other one. Despite my accidentally pouring about a pound’s worth; a third of a bottle of the cat-wazz sauce, I could barely taste it! Grumpworthinesses! I washed the Hickory-sticky covered saucepan straight after emptying it.

2Tue26WD 128.0.0 That really put the mockers on the meal! The Iceland brand so-called smoked back bacon was so chewy, bland, watery and tasteless. What I thought was going to be a right-good-treat of a meal, was insipid and disappointing! So very Agravannoying! It looked super as well! Humph!

WD 128.0.0 I took the tray and things to the kitchen, thinking I might get the handwashing done. But No! Which pillock had left the hot water tap running to get cold? I good job I washed the saucepan earlier! Schlub!

Another bad end-of-day for me. I should have known, with my waking up in such… well, an almost contented mood! No promised calls or contact from the Golden Volunteers or the Nottingham City Council about any help. Nicodemus’s timings do deactivate the nerve ends were all timed to cause me grief and bother. A continual string of information advice and details ensured I spent the day confused. I’m not coping very well. Thank heavens for Jenny’s input.

A highly-strung, frustrated and dithering Inchcock settled in his recliner, but an old DVD on, ‘Taken’ to watch. The thought storms tool over the brain. The unwatched film came to an end, and the storming was still there. Sleep was out of the question for hours. Well after the mind had settled, and went into a sort of vaguing session.

Nemo Mortalium Omnibus Horis Sapit! I certainly ain’t! Grobblecurses!

GM 90.0.002:05hrs: I stirred from my slumber, feeling sedentary, reluctant to move. Jejune thoughts came and went; the brain didn’t want disturbing with anything too important. Nor in the least bit like any conscientious physical or mental activity! The maundering mind mused over puerile irrelevant facts and figures for awhile. The eyelids were heavy, and Borborygmus rumblings and gentle but scarily bubbly-sounding emissions of wind started in unison!

I was just not interested in moving! The dry coughing was annoying me; it prevented me from getting back to sleep! Hehe! Inevitably, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived.

WD 150.0.0 Off to the wet room, got the stick out of the way, and plumped down on the throne. It was hard-going, but I forced the activity along. I wish I hadn’t now – the pain! One unpleasant mess to clear-up and medicate afterwards. The whole nine-yards of hassle to deal with this morning. What a start to the day!

WD 150.0.0 Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding and was sore. The messy bowl (the Sennas had been working at last, too well!) needed cleaning. The evacuated product required much effort and flushing to get rid of! Which when I was in the middle of sorting things out, the metal four-pronged walking stick was caught with my left foot, and it fell, clouting the right foot big toe. On the way down, it knocked the pen off of the floor cabinet, which flew up in the air. It fell into the toilet without touching the sides, into the mess within! Crying was an option that I barely resisted!

1Mon04However, I reckon that the pins (legs) were looking betterer than they were yesterday! There was undoubtedly hardly any hassle from Arthur Itis this Monday morning. Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald were making up for this, though. The stabbing pains from Ann, and the dull droning aches from Donald. As I left the wet room, limping a little, the toe was still a bit tender, I took care in case any dizzies, or loss of balance came on, not to use the stick too close to the right leg. What am I saying? I get them every day! Every hour, or less sometimes! Stop being splenetic Inchcock! (“Okay, Sorry!”) I think the pins will soon be looking healthy again.

1Mon01To the kitchen, where I was pleased to find I had not left any taps running, fridge door open, or parts of the stove left on! I got the kettle on and took a photographicalisation of the morning view. Made the brew of Glengettie Gold tea, and off to the computer to get the Sunday Diary updated.

WD 150.0.0 I got the computer on and checked first to see if Facebook had been repaired, and I could get back to tending to my beloved photo albums. As if! Third day with no access to collections now. Grrr!

1Mon02

I pressed on doing the Saturday blog and got it finished and posted off. (When I say this, it sound so easy, but took several hours) Then put what few pictures I had on Pinterest. Then went on the WordPress Comments. I checked the Amazon parcels; The one packet of red potato snacks and the 6 packets of Taokaenoi seaweed and the one bottle of Hickory sauce are due today. The absolutely ridiculously priced pack of 12 toilet rolls (I daren’t say what I’m paying, Oh, dearie me), are due on 18th to 20th March. Which was initially 16th, today. Will they ever arrive, or not? A few WUP (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees were taken.

1Mon05I took a break, had a wee-wee, of the WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) so very slowly, variety.

Then got the medicationalisationing sorted out. I remembered I should have made a vial of sample erm… water, for the nurse to collect, so had to fill the sample pot, which was no bother, the trickling is rampant today. Had a guzzle of the over the counter cough medicine as well. Then olive oiled the earholes.

I began on this post. I stopped and went to get the veg in the crock-pot. Onions, I’ve got two more in the fridge. I used the last of the other fresh vegetables up. Mushrooms, onions, and peas, seasoned with a little sea salt, light Soy sauce and vegetable seasoning stock cube. Oh, and a spoonful of mint in vinegar.

Weary-eyed,  I started to do the handwashing. Which went far better than yesterday, no big spillages and no toe-stubbings! Done, wrung and hung, I went to get the ablutions done.

During which, I needed four WUPs (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees! But as with the handwashing, the ablutionalisationing went of a lot betterer than Monday’s. A few dropsies, only the toothbrush, razors (2), and the fresh air spray. Moreover, no toe-stubbing and the Sock-Glide tussle was injury-free!

Unfortunately, the chest pains started again as I came out of the wet room. I got the towel on the airer. Then made up three general waste bags and a large recycling one. There was no one about, so I took them to the waste chute.

WD 150.0.0 I came back and had a WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) wee-wee. And decided it might be a good idea if I put the hot tap on instead of the cold one to fill the kettle with, and turned back to fill it. I now have some very artistic little scold-marks on my hand and arm. Frumpworthy Grobblecurses! I got the Savlon cream and used the last of it to ease the tiny blisters, but they all popped when I applied the medication? Now this made wonder. On closer inspection I found the ‘Use-By’ date on the box, to be ‘Oct 2006’! Ah, well, I don’t know how I’m going to get out for some more!

1Mon05bOn the computer again. I had a check on the Amazon bits progress for today. Nothing crucial, each one a bit of a treat actually.

Seaweed Snack, which was £1, I could have got packs of six far cheaper, but I thought it was commonsensible to try one first to see if I liked them. Did you see that? A moment’s logicality sneaked in there! Haha! I must not get carried away with it, though!

The toilet rolls I ordered but dare not tell you how much they cost, but TORK-UK company do not do a tracking system apparently.

1Mon06a

WD 150.0.0 I went on their website. Tork-UK is a New York owned and based firm, and their prices were a little less for the same thing than Amazon. But, not a lot, as Paul Daniels used to say. I looked up the details about the product, not that there was much of it.

1Mon06b

I shall have to work out what those, ‘M’ and ‘MM’ measurements are in English as I know it. Thank heavens for Google. 94mm is 3.7″, and 200mm 7.8″ per sheet, not too bad?

Of course, they have to arrive yet! Wednesday to Friday it says they are due. The lorry might get highjacked? And on Thursday, I have to go to the Podiatrists in the morning for an 08:30hr appointment, I hope it doesn’t arrive while I’m out! Oh dear, I’m worried now! If it comes on Wednesday, that would be the best thing. I’ll be stuck indoors anyway, I can’t go out until Thursday. I will soon need some bread and milk, although I can manage without them really, I suppose. Fresh veg and fruit will be sadly missed. Ah, I think I’ve ordered some of that stuff, from Iceland for tomorrow! I get confused easily, you know!

A leaflet was put through the door, weel, six of them were! I threw five straight into the recycling bag.

1Mon07WD 150.0.0 But had a read of the Farmfoods one. Unbelievable! They were advertising packs of 18 toilet rolls, @ 3 for £11!!! This may get them stampeded by the ruthless, nasty, hoarders of Nottingham. And will end-up in disaster for them! I hope not! But can already envision the responses from the Brexit-weary, Coronavirus C-90-frazzled, angry muggers, shop-lifters and gang members, even ordinary citizens, will be; after they have hastened to the stores to find they have sold out! A verbal insulting, vicious-marathon and possible blood bath will follow! Mark my words! The poor staff are going to be in for it when they run out of stock!

I rang Sister Jane to tell her of the advert. We had a natter, and things sounded better for her hubby Pete, medically speaking, I’m glad to say. Got a bit of a dizzy while talking to her, and most of the conversation didn’t make it to the memory-box. Phwert!

1Mon08WD 150.0.0 Back on the computer, but the usual old folk’s weariness was dawning fast. So I gave up, after trying Facebook first. Still no access to my photo albums! Grrr!

1Mon09aI got the chips in the oven and checked the vegetables in the Crock-Pot. The Amazon delivery arrived, and I left them to sort out later and pressed on with the nosh preperationing. And what a nosh it turned out to be. An 8/10for flavour. Super tasty! I could have done with an extra x6 servings of the Truffle Fries, but still.

1Mon09bI did the washing up, took the medications and opened the three bits from Amazon. The salt & vinegar flavoured seaweed snack pack (Not tried yet), six packets of Japanese style seaweed crispies (delicious!), and the Moores Hickory Marinade (Very costly!) I’ll ask on the TFZer Facebook if anyone knows how to use this Marinade.

1Mon10I put the boxes behind the £300, second-hand, grottily beige-coloured, c1968, not working, uncomfortable, falling to pieces recliner.

Then found boxes I’d put there earlier and had not removed yet! But I’ll get around to it sometime, I’m sure…

Washed, changed, and got settled to see some TV. The usual happened; watch a few minutes, nod-off a few minutes repeatedly, but no proper sleep for hours! Spit!

WD 130.0.0 02:40hrs: I gave up trying to get to sleep. The eyes were heavy, GM01 Brownthe spirits sagging, and borborygmus grumbled within! A rare of late wee-wee was developing, so I fought my clinomania and gingerly extracted my cyclopean-sized-belly and body from the £300, second-hand, c1968 none-working recliner. Manipulating the folds of stomach flesh, was not easy!

As I grappled for the stick, which had fallen over, the sound of the damn & blasted ‘Hum’ was as loud as it has ever been. I actually thought something else might be the cause of this horrendous unceasing, droning wind-like noise, but on checking later, nowt was found. Still feeling so tired and drained did not help my irritability stakes at all. Sleep, sweet Morpheous, where art thou? Or summat like that. Hehe!

WD 130.0.0 I got to the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket), I was benumbed to see it had not been used overnight. Then again, I think I spent the most significant part of my nocturnal time, awake! Cholericalisations! The wee-wee was of the TBKIWAWBC (The-Bladder-Know-It-Wants-A-Wee-But-Can’t!) variety. A few painful drips, a long time waiting and hoping for more to flow, then I gave up, and went to wash the hands and the barely damp bucket. Hehehe!

As I was putting the kettle on, the grumbling innards doubled their efforts, and I returned post-haste to the wet room.

WD 130.0.0 I got on the Porcelain Throne, and things moved of their own accord, but so painfully. Then, it got a little awkward. Part-way through the motion, the evacuation got in a jam! Half in, half-out, stinging like hell, and refusing to budge! I reached for the crossword book. Partly in an effort to distract myself from the antagonisticalisationing, and the trickling started from Little Inchy. It was if the innards had come to some peace treaty together, the wee-weeing was allowed to go ahead, although in a long-drawn-out marathon, then the heavy stuff started actioning again. Argh!

Yet afterwards, there were no signs of any bleeding and no mess? Just blessed relief that it was over! As I was cleaning up, the left chest pains started again, like yesterday?

WD 130.0.0 Back to the kitchen, took the medications, made the brew and returned to the front room and got the computer going. Arthur Itis and Duodenal Donald both being kind to me. I can’t tell about Anne Gyna, cause this aching, dull pain in the chest, is similar but the same as her usual stabbing pains. So, I don’t know what it is. But I do know I’ve been through more pain this morning, from various ailments and bodily functions, than since the heart op! Hogwashalisations! Ah, well, that’s my self-pity, and the choplogic moments over with. Haha!

I got on with updating yesterday’s Friday diary. It took me a considerable amount of time, with so many photographicalisations to go on it. But I got it all finished, in between many pathetic sprinkling wee-wees. I put some stuff on Pinterest.

A niggly dry cough came and went as it pleased.

6Sat01WD 130.0.0 Then when adding to the Facebook photo albums, and enjoying doing it, about half-way through, I got this message come up on the screen, as the screen froze. A bit piss-offing that was! I turned off Facebook and back on again. Same message when I tried to add photos again.

6Sat01WD 130.0.0 So, I gave up on it and made a start on this Saturday post. A couple of hours later, I tried again. Nope, the same, I can’t put any more photographs on! Gragnipples!

I went on the WordPress Reader.

Then, on to CorelDraw to make up some more graphicalisations. Slow work.

I realised I had ordered the Morrison delivery for the wrong Tuesday, the 24th! They were showing toilet rolls as available, but they were not on the email list of goods ordered! Shitski! Appropriate exclamation there. Haha! So, out of desperation, I did an order for this week from Iceland, but for this coming Tuesday. They were also showing toilet rolls as available, but they were not n their email list either! Unscrupulous Herberts!

6Sat02I then got the vegetables, well, the chestnut mushrooms prepped and in the crock-pot.

Then, got some parsnips, onions, and tomatoes and added them to the pot. I made up gravy, with vegetable stock cube mixed in, and put the that in the slow-cooker alongside the veg.

6Sat03I hope it comes out alright, then I can use them with the braised beef, and make an imitation stew. I took these shots while doing it.

Then to the computer, and added them to this blog. Back to the graphicationalisationing next, it’s takin me ages to get them done. Tsk!

6Sat04Tried Facebook again. Grrr!

Pee’d off now!

Pressed on with CorelDrawing for a while, but my mood is not good and concentration very poor! I got just three done, and they were a lot for me in my present, erm… oblique state of mind.

I kept going into the kitchen, got the pan of water on for the boil-in-the-bag beef. Panicked a bit when I didn’t check it for a while, hobbled hastily to the stove, convinced I’d find a right mess all over the cooker.

WD 130.0.0 Anxiety over! Huh! I’d not turned the power on!

The vegetables are getting overcooked now, and it will be about forty-minutes before the meat is cooked. Oh, I am a Klutz!

I got the nosh sorted out. I’m going to eat it from the big cheesy potato mixing basin, cause I don’t want to spill all over me and the recliner. Like I did last w6Sat28eekend. Oofta!

The beef in the bag was so small, but the extra gravy in it might have made up the legal weight. But it was lip-smackingly tasty!

The veg came out as good as I could have hoped for, too.

The irritating dry cough paid me an evening visit, which took the edge off of enjoying the meal. But at least I didn’t spill any! Flavour Rating 7/10.

At last, I got some sleep in. So much for watching the ‘New Tricks’ DVD. Hehehe!

23:00hrs: After so many interruptions trying to get to sleep last night, I gave-up altogether, I needed another wee-wee anyway. The GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-Wee-Bucket) I had moved into readiness position by the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety, rusty, recliner. It was well-filled, and I added to it. This time with an ELRWS (Extra-Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wee. The container needed emptying and sanitising, so I grabbed the four-pronged walking stick and off to the kitchen I hobbled, with Arthur Itis not so bad in the knees, yet. I’m mastering (that may be too strong a word?) this multiple-footed, stand-upable stick now.

4Thu02 I took the bin in the wet room, sorted and refreshed it, then myself, and went to the kitchen. Where I was pleased with this photographicalisation on the left, that I took. I chose the Night-Landscape option on the choices dial. Rather a moody-outcome that pleased me somewhat. I saved it in 64-bit. Smug-Mode-Engaged!

3Wed07WD 60.20.0 As I got the medications out, I noticed the newly yesterday evening short-delivered prescriptions. Then, that last night’s dose was still in the blister pack – so a good start! But I’m well-pleased that I sent the email informing the Carrington Pharmacy about the problem last night. It’ll save a job, or me forgetting to do it today! True!

4Thu03I only took one Warfarin with the morning doses. Had a good swig of the cough Linctus.

Next, I got the mushrooms in the saucepan, not heated, just marinating with some Soy sauce and Philippanese Sukang Puti (Pinakamasarap) vinegar. The strongest available! Whether the 4Thu04mushroom fungi will sink or take any of the flavours in, I’ll find out tonight. When I add them with some Nutoory tomatoes, which I got ready for slicing later as well. I’m getting very experimentationalistical with food in my old age! I hope this seasoning doesn’t prompt any postprandial problems from the rear or front-end, with the roast vegetable risotto it’s all going into. Haha!

The irritating humming droning noise is still out there all around the building. It’s being joined at this moment, by a pinging sounds occasionally? Grr! I hope some part of the building isn’t beginning to break up?

WD 60.20.0 I made a brew and got on the computer. Visited the WordPress Reader, then in the updating of the Wednesday blog. Stopping often a cross between a cough and a sneeze, and each time thought the insides of my chest would pop-out. Having so many weak unwilling mini-wee-wees, that I got the GPEWWB out again near the desk! Not much being passed, but so often, the bucket is filling up already! Hard to concentrate having to stop for a wee-wee, albeit tiny, and a cough-sneeze that needs the physical removal of the phlegm! A little recondite to explain, but ‘Pissed-offedness-Status’ was adopted! Possibly made worse by my irresistible thirst for tea, that is getting even stronger! Help!

Many hours later, I got the post finalised. Phew! Sent it off to WordPress and on Emails.

I had a touch of xerophthalmia, so sprayed some Visualise water on the eyes. I suspect it is due to the long hours watching the computer screen, perhaps? Hey-Ho!

WD 60.20.0 Each time I got up for a wee-wee, to make a cuppa or to check on something that was worrying me (Yes, it’s another of my nebbish, being nervous, pessimistic, unpropitious state of mind days), the knees seemed to get more painful? Did I leave the light on in the wet room? Have I turned off the hot water tap? Did I turn on or off the stove? What day is it? These and more worries just have to checked-out. This type of disadvantageously direful dilemma that the Stroke seems to be with me forever. However, the need for the Porcelain Throne attendance pulled me out of the self-pity syndrome. And I was off to the wet room.

4Thu05WD 60.20.0 Another dirty-great-dollop of an evacuation. Bleeding from the front (Little Inchy) and rear (Hemorrhoid Harold). But nowhere near as messy this time. You see? There is often a silver-lining if you look in-depth, long and hard enough! It helps if you are wearing the wrong glasses! Haha!

WD 60.20.0 The legs (pins), really getting back to their usual pale but yellowy-coloured skin, warped fluid-retaining mangy state. And again displaying the blood papsules, veinal growths, lumps, spots, weals, scars, bruises, welts, contusions, blemishes, dapples, and maculations. With Thrombophlebitis, and assorted new Clopidogrel inspired grooves and ridges. As for the knees, they were stiffer than ever now!

WDP 11hLHowever, regardless of the bleeding and the poor state of the pins, this was not necessarily a bad thing. It took me out of the depression I was slowly falling into, by a strange sort of satisfaction, contentment, that the recent good luck I’d been having, was fading, and the acknowledged, accepted, accustomed state of perpetual-pain and discomfort had returned. I can take this condition, but me having luck and being fortunate is foreign to me. Thus, as I left the room, a smile crept over my face, and then tripped over the four-pronged walking stick. I had to laugh!

4Thu06I decided to add some of the Natoora, South Korean (Large bank account needing) mushrooms to the normal Irish ones that were already marinating in the pan. A multi-cultural nosh in the offing today. Irish and South Korean mushrooms, cooking in a Hong Kong made saucepan, while the Berkshire Italian style baked roast vegetable risotto, with Taiwan rice cooks in the Spanish-made oven. Sicilian Tiger Plum tomatoes to be added. With Philippines Sukang Puti (Pinakamasarap) vinegar, and Chinese light Soy sauce. Oh, I do hope it turns out okay! I hope to be cooking some rice in the rice-cooker soon.

Hello, the time’s shot by, better get the ablutions done, and visit Jenny. Back in a while, crocodile… I am a fool!

WDP 11hLThe ablutions went well. A few dropsies were all I had to put up with, well, a lot of dropsies really. Haha! However, no cut gums, no bleeding from shaving, Little Inchy nor Harold’s Haemorrhoids. The battle with the sock was painless (Almost!), and both sock fittings worked the first time, too! No lumps of finger trapped,

I got the mushrooms on the lowest setting on the stove ring. Then set off, with some PPs on the three-wheeler for Jenny. I rang her bell and left them on the floor outside the door in a carrier bag.

4Thu07Got in the lift and down to the ground floor, and along the link-passage into the Winwood Court. Doing a bit of chesty-coughing en route. The tickle is back! I took a snap through the window, of the new unused as yet, al-fresco seating area. One day when the warm sun appears, I shall go out, sit on a bench, get the crossword book out, and fall asleep. Hopefully! Haha!

4Thu08I got to the Winwood foyer and went up the lift to the rooftop lounge/rest area. As the elevator door opened, I was greeted by one of the Dulux dogs that someone had put on a coffee table. It looked so real for a second or two. Haha!

4Thu09I wandered around and took a picture through the window, of the Woodthorpe Grange Park. By gum, the wind and rain were so vicious out there. The trees were bending and blowing in the vicious gusts of wind.

4Thu10I opened the automatic push-pad doors and took a photo of Woodthorpe Court, while partially under-cover beneath the eave of the opening.

It looked pretty bleak, misty, wet and depressing!

4Thu11Then I made a snap of the new rooftop veranda, with the chained-down tables and chairs. This secured them from getting blown away in the high winds. It was not done to prevent people from nicking them! He-He! No wonder with this weather, that there was no one out there. But then, there has never been anyone out there on my visits, yet!

4Thu12WD 60.20.0 I did venture out into the rain briefly, to take a shot of the blocked rooftop drains. They’ve been like this since they were built in the first place. I had a nosey around all the windows when I came back in. I wonder how many fallen leaves 4Thu13there were out there at the back of the court? Millions there must have been?

When I got in the lift to go down, I tried to catch my reflection with a thumbs-up sign in the panelling and plastic, but it didn’t work. Hey-Ho!

I called at the Oberstfureresses holding-cell office and handed some of the Red Bull Sicilian tomatoes for them to try. They were no impressed. On the way down the link corridor, Angela and Frank came in the opposite direction, and we had a mini-gossip and shared the nibbles.

WD 60.20.0 I got to the Woodthorpe lift foyer, Gawd, it’s cold in there after coming out from Winwood Court!

Up to the flat, and collected the box of recyclables. I took it balanced on the three-wheeler, down to the caretaker’s room. The lads were having a break and told me to leave the box where it was, and they’ll take it out to the bin for me, bless em! We had a natter and laugh, shared the nibbles, and I started off back to the apartment. In the lift lobby, Christine and Welsh William arrived at the same time, and we had a chinwag on the way up.

Back in the flat. Another ELRWS wee-wee was taken. Washed up and made a brew. I got a call confirming the nurse’s attendance in the morning. Oh, dear! I thought it was for next Friday, not this one!

I called xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete, to cancel his and Jane’s visit. We had a good natter that I enjoyed. The weather is not going be any better anyway, according to the forecast.

4Thu15

4Thu14I took to his shot of the house opposite the flats that are being upgraded, new roof, an extension built etc. to show Brother-in-Law Pete. He was in the building game for a few years. Until he won the lottery and got left a fortune by an unknown relative, and retired when he turned forty. Don’t suppose I’ll get my money and valuables back now for a while.

I got with TFZer Facebook updating for an hour or so. I turned everything off and made a start on the nosh. The ready-made risotto meal in the oven. Kept stirring the mushrooms, and after 15 minutes in the kiln, I took out the tray, and added the tomatoes and both types of mushrooms, and back into the stove for a further ten-minutes on hot. Kept an eye on the meal, all the time, stirring it once. While doing this bit of cooking, I had to take three LRWS (Long-Reluctant-Weak-Sprinkly) wee-wees!

4Thu21aGot the nosh served up, and it was a real delight to the taste-buds. Flavour-Rated at 8.8/10. Admitted it looked a right mess, but I ate it from the tray in the bowl-dish and saved a bit on washing up! Haha!

I washed up and got another ‘Hustle’ DVD, series five to view. Most comforting in a way, when the nodding-off, waking and rewinding the DVD to where I fell asleep to try and watch it again repeat-circle began. I was a bit concerned that the coughing, wheezing and sneezing might disturb the neighbours, but a good swig of the Linctus and things calmed down. I did stay awake long enough to give up trying to watch the ‘Hustle’ episodes and changed to watching the TV. The adverts were on at the time, and… Zzzz! Heavenly!

WDP 11gLWD 60.20.0 Woke up a couple of hours later for yet another wee-wee, blimey, it was a long, painful reluctant one! Argh! Would be an apt word to use. Hehehe!  I stayed up, then.

May all who have read this true-clap-trap, be granted enormous, generous proportions of prosperity, providence, profit and fiscal plenteousness, and receive, benevolence, empathy and appreciation from all others today! Bless yers!
