The IV bruise looking a little better.

Also, better feet and ankle ulcer!

Hard but still messy.
After using the stored-ready water containers to refill the non-working W.C. water tank (Waited Ten weeks for a repair up to now, and not due until July 7th) Thus, I am sentenced to agony on every visit to the Porcelain Throne or WC.
Has anyone told them? I was forced to take some decent painkillers in an effort to calm down my anger-ridden . It’s a cruel world!

I rang to see if I could get a lift to the bank on Wednesday; they told me to ring back in case there was a cancellation – but, no such luck. . It was still slightly The conversation was difficult, and , and , not to mention my troublesome .
But the Lady was patient and made sure I’d got the right details, when I booked a trip with them for Tuesday 13th June; to the .

Carer Kara, ensured a lift to the bank with a taxi company for me and a Carer (Christopher?) for Thursday.

I tried to sort out the things I need to take to the EENT with me for the visit, but I was struggling. So, I’ll ask a carer to make a list for me. Shaquille?

Asda food arrived.

The fridge & freezer are full now!

And Iceland delivery arrived.Which, I could swear I made for next week.
Another cock-up on my behalf!
I must get a grip on these date mix-ups!
Even more, food is crammed away now!

Started to prepare the meal of the day.

Got it served up with some added beetroot and the last of the bottle of Borscht, and some Zirnelial peas. Sob!
The meal was one of my tastiest yet.
A quarter of the way through it… and
. No Carers
were due? So I put down the delicious
food, and off to the door to investigate.
It was . She couldn’t get her remote control to change the sound on her kitchen TV. It really bothered her. So I went in to have a look, thinking that the remote might need new batteries. But no! Poor Josie could not see which buttons controlled the sound on the panel. It took a long while to explain, and she kept wanting it louder and then quieter. She could not grasp which buttons to use. Bless her. And with her bad sight, had difficulty in her seeing which ones to use, and kept pressing the ‘Mute’ button in mistake. I drew a map, if she can see it, of where the volume buttons were. Eventually, I got it how she wanted it and departed back to my cell… er… flat.
And the cold meal on the tray. Hehehe! I still ate it without microwaving it to warm it. With a glow inside, cause it’s marvellous when for once, I can help someone else. I ate it all up with a wholemeal roll, and still enjoyed it!

Must have been tired, I can’t recall the evening caller; what happened or when I got to sleep?
Nothing until waking up in the morning.
Another strikes!

WORD OF THE DAY: EPIPHENOMENALISM

I woke up at 05:10hrs, and I had a muse over what day it was, and I swiftly fell asleep again. Stirred again at 06:15hrs. Passed a lot of wind and coughed a little.
Then set about getting the night pouch off from the firm grip of . Carer Richard told me later it was Grade seven on the NHS Urine colour docket. A bit dark? I’ll try to drink more water today.

The innards demanded that I attend the immediately. So I did. Much less messy this morning. It seems that had made a counter-attack for command of this evacuation. I lot of effort was needed from me to get things started and moving. Painful and bloody for .
Far easy to clean up after the motion this time.
Cleaned the backside and ointmentated the rear end with Germoloids.
I found the missing toothbrush after several days of searching. It had fallen or been dropped, of course; out of sight and landed on the cleaning cloth that was a similar colour. I wouldn’t have found it but for a slight (Hard to believe, I know!) I dropped the Dettol bottle, bent to retrieve it and hit my shoulder against the sink; that’s when I saw it. I took no chances and used the little picker upperer to get it.
I cleaned my teeth, scarce and rotten as they are, for the first time in several days. GC broken tooth
It was a bloody affair. What with and now losing blood, I must try to be careful. I just hope that doesn’t join in with them. Then, I did mayhap the riskiest job of every morning; getting the PPs on. Which is always a painful task and often one with acci-whoop tendencies and risks. But not this morning; the pain was there, of course – but no injuries! And not only, but also, I used the cheaper grey ones, which tend to split or tear occasionally, but again; Not this morning!

The sweat rash was less irritating as well this morning.
And far less coloured.
I still put some of the Savlon antiseptic creams under both armpits, though.

Even more good luck here; The feet, ankles, ulcers, and water papules were all looking good.
With my legs less swollen than for months?
.

Even filling the bowls of water from the kitchen to The not-working or refilling W.C. water tank, didn’t bother poor old so much as it usually does. Mind you, knocking the shoulder against the sink earlier, did set off , and so I was as careful as I was possible not to spill any water or drop a bucket, and I went in slow-motion, almost shuffling my feet flat on the floor, slowly along. But Shirley was only giving micro shakes at this time. How kind of her! Checked the taps were off, and off to the kitchen to get the kettle on and took this photographicalisation of the view.

I took a snap of the being-done-up house near the bottom field.
Saw some action today.
I thought I saw a worker on the top outer scaffold.
Got the kettle on and off to the computer to update yesterday’s blog. Which didn’t turn out as planned.
I couldn’t find the notepad I’d used?
Still, I did find the toothbrush!.
Got the blog done and posted of to WordPress.

KristA Sounded from the door chime, and in came my treasured INR,  Anticoagulation, DVT Deep Vein Thrombosis, Warfarin phlebotomy Nurse Hristina. To take my blood.  That cheered me up! ♥ Lovely lady.

I had some brekkers.
A mug of tea and a tub of pot noodles. I added some veg stockpot seasoning and a splash of BBQ sauce.
Very nice it was too!. Even if I had made it thicker than I planned to
.
Carer Jo-Anne called. She kindly rang about the red marks under my arms for me. I rang Easy-Link but could not understand/hear the lady about the lift for the Coppice Hospital. Jo-Anne told me it was on, and I need to pay on the day.

Later the Surgery rang me. Again I was struggling to hear her, but I think she was telling me that I had not got an appointment with the doctor tomorrow. She did say ‘Don’t worry’. So I’ll try not to.
I’ve got more chance of Diana Dors coming back to life and asking me for sex!

17:50hrs: So light out there.
This changing of the clocks has always had me confused, but it seems worse than ever nowadays.
I really thought it was about 13:00hrs.
.

I’ll make a start on getting the meal prepped. After much musing and ponderisationing, I decided on a can of garden peas, chips and bread & butter.

I may return later (but doubt it), likely in the morning.

Well, what a farcical time I had. It’s afternoon now!
Complete Mind-Blanks (Apart from the delicious nosh) for the night.

This morning, with getting ready for upcoming the visit, and calls from Sister Jane, Carers extra calls with the medications (Fetched my Carer Richard for me, a grand chap.

EasyLink transport to arrange. INR result waiting. Never mind, I’ll try to get it on today’s blog. But it is now nearly tea time, and I have not even got this one finished yet. Think I’m a bit tense over my owing money to EasyLink, and the upcoming brain analysis thingamabob.

Oh, the lovely veggie meal last night, as I suddenly recalled. But as is the way with the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? It was thickly buttered sarnies – Really thick! Extra thick! Using the Vegan Not Butter. I had chips, peas and beetroot with them, Marvellous Tasting!. I took two photographs, and neither of them came up on the SD card this morning! Grumph!

The usual struggle is to get the water to refill the non-working W.C. tank. The latest date for an ETA for a plumber is now in July.

Blood Pressure etc., was taken. Far too high!
Cara Kara or Jodie? Assessed the urine as a grade 4. And put some Phorpain Gel on my back for me.

I’d finished and posted the Tuesday blog. (It had been posted)
I’d acquired a burn mark on my right knuckle. (No idea?)
The balcony door had been opened? (No idea?)
I must have started the meal prepping. I’d opened a can of beans and added some of the Latvian garden peas, and a bottle of Borscht was also been used, added to the saucepan with the last of the fresh vegetables. All together with, I assumed, some BBQ sauce added.
Found this photo on the SD card.
Unfortunately, along with five frames that could not be read by the computer or CorelDraw in the morning.
Format Not Recognised?
I think the blanks covered about four hours or more.

Got the potatoes in the oven, nice and crisp and warmed up the beetroot soup with extra peas, vegetables, beans and seasoning.
Cracking Good Taste!

A new called twice tonight.
Rubbed some Phorpain gel into my back for me.

After he’d gone, I either fell into a deep sleep or
Mind Blank came on.
Woke up at 04:40hrs.

Ciao!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I woke around 05:00hrs. The toes were tingling for some reason. Took this snap of them, and promptly delved back into the land of nod. And very nice it was too. I dreamt of things that I can no longer do!
I emerged back into consciousness, it was around 06:00hrs. Oddly I could… well, smell a sweet sickly scent sort of aromaI soon found out what the cause was. Humph!
acci-whoop A melted block of milk chocolate had dissolved into the dressing gown on my chest, and it had run down onto and over my rather generous-belly and set rock hard on the skin and left nipple!
I got the gown off and tried to clean off the chocolate, to no avail. Then decided to get the ablutions done and do the same to the chocolate stuck-rigid on my chest. I did get it off; but lost many of the few chest hairs left along with removing it. Unfortunately, the needed rear-end activity.
had a ball with the session. Which left me with the job of cleaning everything up. Then, having to refill the water tank from the bin and bowls, I’d readied and refilled them from the kitchenette sink tap.
In the first hour of being up and about, I needed three visits. All wet, spluttery affairs, and needing my water carrying while using a walking-stick skill. Which I can assure you, annoyed for than she’s ever been. I just had to take some extra painkillers, although they say I shouldn’t.

They, being the many medical personages. If you knew the agony she giving me, you’d understand me taking them.

The urine was colour 4 on the NHS scale, the same as it was yesterday. On the bright side, the feet were not swelling up so much, Although they were sore with all the walking and carrying the water so many times to and from the kitchen to the wet room.
I did the Health Checks and got a bit of a shock. SYS 162/DIA 66! Come think of it, though, all the refilling of the water tank, most likely had a hand in it. Did another one later; it was down a lot then.

I made a brew of Glengettie tea. Seemed a good idea to me. Hehehe!
Took this shadowy shot from the kitchenette window.
Not very good, is it?.

I got the computer on, and Carer Samantha arrived. I mentioned the pain coming from , and asked if she could rub in some of the Phorpain Gel for me. Which she did, bless her. Told her I’d already taken a painkiller, so I took no Paracetamols. I must remember to ask whoever comes tonight to do the same for me again.
I’ll be eight weeks – two months, after notifying them before the plumber arrives.

Back to blogging, and…

So, I went to make a brew of Thompson Punjana tea, and make a pot of Porridge to have while waiting for Smoke & Mirrors man, Mr Fries, the Liberty-Global – Virgin Media mogul & head-honcho, to get his Internet working again. Of course, it will not bother him in the slightest with the money he’s earning – well, getting!

Over the next hours, I had time to get some suitable for any pareidolia freak like myself to enjoy, was taken.

Wheels within wheels?

Clouds chasing clouds?

Then the rain came!

Hello, it’s drizzling again.

Decisions, decisions!
The early evening Carer called. It was Józef.
I remembered to ask him to Phorpain gel .
Which he gladly did. Bless him.

Started to prep the evening meal.
Boczek, peas and out-of-date chips.
But we’ll see. Back in the A.M. to finish off.
TTFN.

Well, What a busy day today. Mostly through my cock-ups over food shopping. I’ll put it in today’s (Thursday) blog – if I ever get it started, that is. Hello! The rain started!

15:20hrs, and have only just got around to finishing this one.
This is not how envisaged my growing old, you know. Hehehe!

Got the meal sorted and served it up nice & early.
Taste-Rating 7.6/10.
Then I commenced to get the pots washed and the sink area cleaned up….

acci-whoop So many things went wrong at the same time, I’m not sure I can remember them all, let alone what order they befell me!.
❶ I think the first . was taking the bowl out of the sink and losing my grip on it.
❷ I tried to grab it, and the flipping plastic tore, making me drop it again properly if you know what I mean.
❸ The contents of the bowl were citric acid, bleach and washing-up liquid. (I’d been soaking the saucepan that I burnt yesterday) ❹ Which covered my dressing gown, torso,  legs and feet. ❺ I was faffing about trying to get the floor dried and realised that the PPs, were thoroughly soaked and started to disintegrate before my very eyes! Falling down at my feet! ❻ The leg straps began to squeeze the top and bottom.
I abandoned the kitchen and went into the wet room to make sure that Little Inchie and his inserted tube were affected, and hosed down the body sharpish. ❼ Cause things were beginning to sting a bit. ❽ As I turned to replace the shower head, started giving me what-for when I twisted the back. I got fresh pants on, and a clean dressing gown, and went back to the kitchen. ❾ Arrgh! I’d left the tap running!
Painfully got the floor and sink tided, and went to fill the kettle. ❿ After dropping it, and cleaning up that mess, I found it would not work!
My language even made me cringe!

The evening Carer arrived. Sorted the meds out.

,
Fingers? Claws?.
Cream cake? Mashed Potatoes?
Bootiful!

Got this far – Worra struggle!

Not feeling too good, Dizzy-Dennis, and Thought-Storms are rampant. The body & brain suddenly demanded I slept, and boy, did I sleep.
In the middle of the afternoon, too.
Only woke up when Carer Josef arrived to give the evening medications,
then the late-night medications.
Waking up approximately 14 hours later, at 06:00hrs.

So, very little to report.

Great urine colour!

Intercom – why? No idea, memory blanks all day.
Maybe non-stop? Gone within seconds sometimes, yet bits are semi-clear?
For some reason, I only made a few notes to help me.

Didn’t get this blog finished until about midday on Friday.
(The Dementia Doreen controlled) brain still demanding more sleep and refusing to let me concentrate on anything. Sending Thought-Storms constantly, I was sure I was getting them in my sleep as well!

Apparently, the notes I could read tell me; I got up at 0605hrs.
Waste bags sorted, Porcelain Throne visit number one (Seems there were three over the morning before I nodded off on the kipping marathon).
Just the photos, what few there were, to prompt the memory box.

Morning sunshine for behind the block of flats.

The catheter was being filled regularly with a good.
colouration of urine.

.
Not sure why I took this one? If I meant to.

Front room.

Ah, I did the potatoes in a saucepan instead of the slow cooker.
There’s a reason for that. (Somewhere)

I can remember giving up concentrating on the blog and the sudden fatigue coming on. Making an earlier-than-ever meal
No recollection of what it tasted like or if I enjoyed it at all.
But it looks decent to me.

This was when I gave in and decided to take a little kip…

Zzz!

Which was so pongy and under the complete control of . Gooey, smelly, messy, almost Karki coloured with a wet straw texture?

Emptied the night bag.

Not much wee-weeing being done? Seems off checking the bag to see if you’ve pee’d much. Hahaha!

Carer Richard. Arrived, sadly, his last call of the week. Boy, was he shattered! Yawning frequently, a few times I had to check he’d not nodded off!
Only joking! I’d changed the night bag when I was doing the ablutions. Richard had a look to make sure all was well with it. Got the medicines sorted and assured me that someone was going to look into the should I  Take -Warfarin-or Not senior for me today. Hat a little chin-wag, but the lad was so tired, I did not keep him from his much-needed bed. He went saying he’d have a word in the office before he left. Bless his Cotton-Socks!

MERIDIAN’s TINA & LISA TO THE RESCUE

Came with the confirmation that I can take the Warfarin okay tonight. ♥
Wonderful, it’s a shame it’s taken eight failed attempts to get an answer.
I was tickled pink! Well, figuratively?
Tina had done what no one else could and got an answer. Thanks, Tina!
went through the lift bookings making sure I’d got it right. Checked th e list of things I have to take with me and got them into the three-wheeled walker in the folder for me, ready for in the morning. ♥
Now awaiting the evening carer to arrive; confident that I can take the Warfarin tonight without worrying about it. Great!
I planned the evening meal. Potato Rostis, garden peas and bacon lardies… no, I’d better not. The Caramelised mini pork pies have a lot shorter date on them. So I’d better have them first. Did you note that? I remembered something… Ahem, it’s nothing, I remembered something in… I forget when now.

It’s nice and peaceful now the maintenance lads have gone home.

Caramelised Pies (just gone up by 25p at Asda) – Garden peas with added basil – Wholemeal (just gone up by 40p at Asda), baps – Tomatoes – & Tasty (just gone up by 40p at Asda), Potato Rostis.

Woke at 07:20ish hrs: After what must have been one of the worst nights ever, for the repetitive nodding-off and jarringly springing waking again, minutes later!
Pains from and the bladder side of the stomach. This had me a smidgeon worried!
announced the arrival of , who seemed up for it, until the yawning began. He’s struggling to get sleep the same as I am. poor lad.
Richard got the medications given and went to check the non-prescription drawer for out-of-date products. Which resulted in two, I say two 15l carrier bags of stuff to throw away! He’s a good lad to me!
I had to nip into the wet room for the third wee-wee of the morning. The precious ones were flowing decently; this one was back to having to force things out and getting only a sprinkling… but this time with a difference. The stink was the worst I’ve ever smelt in 76 years of weeing! It was repugnant!
Not that I understand much about it, but I got the idea that now the flowing was starting again, the old stored liquid in the bladder may have been being forced out?
I mentioned it to Richard, who smiled and said I know. I smelt it and heard you cursing about it, talking to yourself! It really annoyed you didn’t it? I’ve never heard you swear so much! He was spot-on the button with his comment. Hehe!
I really thought the urine infection was on its way back.
Richard departed with the two bags of out-of-date medications and two bags of general waste with him for me. Richard even made me a brew of tea! He may call on me for the late check visit but was not sure. I hope he does, he always does his best to cheer me up and have a smile or two, and that’s precious! However tired he is.

As I got back to get the spud in the slow cooker, Herbert, my noisy neighbour above, started his bang-banging. I wonder what he’s making today?
I got to drinking the mug of tea that Richard made for me and gave me a good shake. Thus I spilt the mug of tea… she’s been so kind lately as well, but she caught me out this time. I swore, cleaned up the mess and made another one.
I took these shots of the view from the kitchen window while waiting for the kettle to boil again.

The top one had the moon just disappearing from view on the horizon. Why it came out so dark. I know not.

The second one was a mystery to me? How that one came out so light is another mystery to me!.

The third one came put as it looked to the eyes. The bottom field with the housing at the back, no wonder the frost, according to the computer, was -2°c!

The last one was another disappointment. I tried to brighten it a bit, but I ended up with a white sky, and still, the houses were unclear? .
started off next. But this didn’t bother me too much because the pains from the bladder seemed to be lessening. What’s going on in there?
Herbert went into another bout of almost musical banging about. I think he dropped a sledgehammer at one time. Hope he’s not injured himself at all.

It took me a long time, but I got the Tuesday blog updated and sent off to WordPress. Then, during an hours-worth run of wee-wee taking, I got the Pinteresting of some photos done.
WordPress Template preparing next. That went well. Then made a start on this blog.
arrived but did not press the door chime. I pointed this out to him, and we had a laugh about it. Made my point that I could have been using the bucket and needed to know when someone was about to come in to give myself time to shout not to come in yet. Still, a nice lad. We had a little natter and a laugh.

Ah, well, back up to Stage Two Red Hypertension again. Can’t win ’em all, can you? Well, I can’t. Hehe! It’ll be lower tomorrow, just you see! EQ told me, that he is rarely wrong.

Was getting noisy again. This time I replied with a clout of two of my own on the top of the high bookcase, but only the same amount of bangs and thuds that he’s sent down to me over the next few minutes. Not that it stopped his banging about, of course. Thud, clunk…

announced the arrival of . She told me the fire alarm was going off, but I could not hear it in the flat.
She issued the medications, and I asked her to check the taps for me on leaving. But I wouldn’t let her go until she told me the fire alarm had finished.
we took this photo of an engine sown below outside. Others arrived later.
The alarm was still ringing ten minutes later. A live one, mayhap, this time?
Carolynne and I went out into the flats’ lobby. I could hear the alarm going out there. I opened the door a bit, and both of us could smell burning!
I told her to come back into the flat until the alarm stopped. Which she did.
As we were both coming in, she said the alarm had stopped. Off she went. I hope the lifts were working again for her; I imagine they would have been turned back on now the alarm had stopped.

The temperature now showing is minus 1°c. I wonder why it keeps changing from Celsius to Fahrenheit?  Hello, it’s just changed to a snow warning icon?

There’s scum, and there is Scum. The lousy inhuman SCUM that can do this without checking or getting help, should be hung! Then again, I truly think that Parole Board members who free convicted killers to kill again should be hung as well.
I wonder what the shitbag’s reasons were? In a stolen car? No insurance? No licence? Wanted on a warrant? Drink driving? Or maybe all of these things.
I bet the judge lets them off with a dangerous driving charge.
Some smart-arsed lawyer will earn his money defending them and conning the condemnable judges in which we are supposed to have faith and belief. Until your daughter is killed by them again, as the overpaid pathetic Parole Board sets them free early on licence… Grrr!

Better get something to eat, then. Oh, I’ll check to see if any new figures have come through for Covid for Nottingham first. Aha, got to these numbers through the Nottingham Evening Post’s links. Not sure of the period it covers, but is the latest one on it.

Hello, hello, hello!
and . Is this not a Boll-Weevil I have on my finger?
Gawd Blimey, please say no; I don’t want an infestation of them again!
This one was on the draining board in the kitchen. I shall keep my eyes peeled while making the meal for any more of the little blighters! Oh, please, no!

Oh, heck, I missed these pictures I took during the day.

The top one looks like late afternoon.

The middle one this morning?

Well, I think it was. Maybe, perhaps, possibly, mayhaps, presumably. in all likelihood and possibility, taking all things into consideration, it’s likely that I may be right or wrong…

The evening and last one, I think I took whilst  (I’m almost sure) was here with the fire engine viewing.

Of course, it could have been anytime, really.

This time, I must get the food prepped. A simple fayre for a simpleton fella! Cottage pie, the slow-cooker cooked for wight-hours big potato, with liquid smoke added to the spud, and BBQ sauce to the cottage pie. I don’t ask a lot... I don’t get much, either. Hahaha! But I did enjoy this dishful and the following Vegan Soya lemon yoghourts.

I then launched into mission-impossible mode! Trying to get to sleep and stay asleep. It was a bridge too far, an extremely difficult, nay, impossible, unattainable, forlorn, unexcogitable, hopeless task! I got the pots washed, and checks were done.

Within minutes of getting settled in the £300, used, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly Kari-beige coloured, crumb containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner, I floated off into what I thought was going to be, a deep sleep.

acci-whoop A few minutes later, I woke up calmly. (No jerking a jumping at all!) That was the end of my kipping!
My body was telling me I needed sleep. But, it was not to be.
I even put the TV on in hopes of the averts helping me to drop off. It didn’t help!
I lay there hoping, praying and swearing to myself, for Gawd knows how many hours.
Then around 07:10hrs in the morning, rang out and almost reluctantly, I limped to the door to let in.

HUMPH!

Sorry for the contents being short on details today.
One of those impossible-to-concentrate days.

Another can’t-get-to-sleep night. But at least I slept in, a reaction from the body mayhap in protest at Sweet Morpheus’s attitude to my requests for rest. So I reckon I’d got nigh on 6-hours of kip, much better.

I didn’t get up until 06:30hrs. A hint of mode came to me when I realised that if I slept this long on Wednesday, I could blob getting the lift to the hospital. Oh, dear!

I got up, had a wee-wee, emptied and cleaned the overnight bucket, and pressed on with getting the sorted. A couple of nicks shaving, but nothing serious. The teggies, shaving and washing etc., went rather well, actually.
With the Porcelain Throne session, though. Unexpectedly, Trotsky Terence took over the bowels this time. What a mess!

I dressed and got the computer on, and did the health checks for today.

Well, what a nice surprise! Still in the Amber.
.

arrived while I was making a brew and looking at what I’d got to eat for dinner in the fridge and cupboards.

Richard got the medications sorted and went and fetched the Flash speed mop and assembled it was a little quick for me to follow, but he kindly went through it again a little later for me. Who’s getting thick in his Dementia Doreen affected days? Hehe! You’re right!

Not only that, he used it… Fancy using someone’s new mop for the first time! It’s taken the edge off of my enthusiasm now, for the first time to use it. Hehehe! Only joking!

I must say he did it in no time. He didn’t move everything out of the way for this demonstration, and it seemed like three minutes before it was done!
Not confident about setting the new pads, but when I’ve done it a few times I should be alright. As long as the shakes don’t come on while I’m trying to fit them. What are the odds you’re offering for that a fit, shake, involuntary leg dance and or that the neurotransmitters don’t go offline when I try to fit the pads the first time? Hahaha!

Richard put the attachments on the old Carers table for me, telling me to leave them there, so you don’t lose them, keep them in sight! Richard knows what’s what. Bless him! We had a little natter, and he had to go; understandably, his bed awaited his attention.

I slipped him some treats, I insisted, said my farewells and thanked him for his help. But something was not right the moment he departed, and I shut the door; EQ told me not to panic… I wasn’t panicking. at least, I didn’t think I was. I thought I was in a good mood after just having Richard helping me. Annoyingly, EQ did not to me speak again? Somethings coming up that do me no good, but what and when? I forgot all about it and went to make a brew of, not Glengettie – for I have run out of their teabags. I could have sworn I had a box of them in the spare room, too! I also believed I had another box of the Co-op 99 teabags, but neither was seeable? Such are the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodemons, apparitions, and other grotesqueries that haunt the hallways and lobbies, searching for Inchcock; to curse with bad luck, create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare. worry and confuse me! They hide things as well!

I took photographs of the morning view from the kitchenette window! When I got around to loading these, I found the top one from yesterday.
I’m pretty certain I did not put it in the Sunday blog.
The morning rain was just bringing down another mini mudslide at the end car park.

I took a shot of the much-missed tree copse. I really loved walking through that up the hill to the Woodthorpe Grange Park every day… sadly I miss the smells and the odd wildlife when walking through the trees… and if anyone was about, I’d talk to the trees and any animals showing themselves to me.
I noticed how full the bottom car parking spaces were, and this made me realise how late I’d got up, and it brought about the worries of me not getting ready in time if the hospital transport came early. In fact, I dreaded missing them.

It cheered me up so, to see it was Nurse Hristina from the Phlebotomy DVT Warfarin Clinic to take a blood sample for the INR reading. She patiently read the Cataract letter for me to see if there were any signs of whether or not they were going to perform the operation on Wednesday – or if it would be another two Pre-assessments. I’ve had six already? When Deana rang the Queen’s Medical Centre Hospital about it, whoever she spoke to said she didn’t know either! Getting fed up comes easier for me! Hristina was very patient with me. ♥

Very belatedly, I got on the computer to update the Sunday blog, going on the WordPress comments section first. After an hour or two, a message came up from Microsoft warning about heavy rain in your area today?

Herbert in the flat above started his banging about again.
I did not retaliate. Although I’m not saying I wasn’t tempted to.
Eventually, very late on, I got the updating done and posted.

l wandered into the kitchen and added some items to the planned meal.&- Roasted veg sauce and some soya imitation bacon bits.

While making a brew, I think whatever EQ was on about affected me.
Not going into detail; just saying that my concentration was abysmal. I struggled to get making a brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea made properly. I decided to sit down for a while to drink the tea. (It went cold)
I nodded off, and I was flabbergasted when about three hours later. rudely woke me up. I thought it might be the evening carer, but no one came in. So I went to the door, and it was Josie bringing back the pots from her Sunday lunch. I was awake enough to ask her if she enjoyed it, and she answered, ‘Yes, very nice!’ That was good!

I went back to the computer, and I started doing this blog. But soon found it unbelievably hard work. Something was wrong; I just couldn’t spell words, understand them, or understand what I was doing minutes earlier… genuinely worrying.

Then the fretting over not getting up in time for the j074:00 > 09:00hr pick-up on Wednesday. Anything was likely to get me worrying at that moment. What’s going on?

Then, Herbert kicked off again. This time I matched each clatter and bang with one of my own, hitting the top[ of the tall bookcase. At least he stopped.
Around 18:20 hours, I got the chilli mixture cooking. Hope the Carer doesn’t come while I’m eating it –  didn’t think of that before.

As I typed that, in walked Carer Jodie. Hehehe! Early tonight, but she sounded a little Jaded. I soon got her laughing with my natterings after she did the medications. Treats in thanks, and off she went on her mission. Hehe!

Got the bean chilli and veg nosh served up. Had the last two brown cobs with it, and a lemon soya yoghourt

Very nice; the seasonings seemed to work alright. The smoked 7- Mediterranean Vegetable sauce suited this chilli.

As you can see, I didn’t leave a lot in the dish. Hahaha!

A flavour rating of 8.2/10 seemed to be a fair judgement. I just hope that the innards don’t start erupting later…
Sweet Morpheus was again reluctant to let me nod off. He relented in the early hours of the morning, and I think I got four-hours-uninterrupted shut-eye!  Then sprang awake, nodded, woke, slept, woke, fell asleep, woke…
Humph!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

00:30hrs: Got up for a wee-wee; that was terrific, gobsmackingly, absolutely free! Grrreat!
But releasing things ready to use the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket), I got myself in a tangle with the jammie bottoms cord. So, had to go and wash limbs etc., throw the jammies in the laundry bag, and get a dressing gown on. There was no point in getting back to sleep now; I was wide awake.
Went to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

I tried to take a photographicalisation of the morning view.
My first effort came off a bit smudgy, and the second one didn’t get onto the SD card at all!
For the next one, I changed the selector on the Lumix camera to the night view option on the wheel first.
This one came out acceptable to me.

While making the brew of Glengettie, my neurotransmitters failed, and as I was stirring the tea bag as well – So, over went the china mug of tea. Another fine mess to sort out! The one redeeming factor was that the mug stayed on the counter, so at least I didn’t lose another one. Haha!

Updated the Wednesday Blog. It cost me a three-hour struggle, with all the mistakes, and towards the end of doing it, the started, but this time it lasted for longer than ever before. Usually, they are over in seconds… but not this time! Peripheral Neuropathy Pete had never bothered me for so long, with so many incidents, some were quite serious. The first one was as I was stirring my tea bag, it’s hard to explain what happened clearly, but I’ll try: The Peripheral Nerves will suddenly not work, and occasionally they go on-off repeatedly. So the brain does not get a clear message from the neurotransmitters of what they want to do. Then the brain seems to guess but gets it so wrong sometimes. Imagine you want to pick some up that you know is very hot… you test it first. Well, it’s similar to that; the fingers keep nearly doing something and repeatedly miss doing it; why? I think the brain is preventing them. Hence I look like a fool, trying to pick up a piece of paper or anything really but just cannot get the fingers to do the right thing. The same if you want to drop or let go of something – you can’t; it’s impossible until the neurotransmitters send a clear message to the brain, suddenly they will, sooner of later, and things go back to near normal for a while… until the next loss of contact from the nerve-ends.
The fingers are the worst affected, but it can and has, in the past, happened with the toes and feet and can easily have me over.
The silliest and most scary to anyone seeing this happen is when I get what I call an . It’s the equivalent of doing the Oki-cokey; the foot will not settle back on the ground until the nerve ends re-contact. It’s always (up to now) the right leg.
And with , it is always on the right side, never the left? I think that my having my stroke on the righthand side helped to create these phenomena.

The was needed as I entered the wet room with the clothes to change into after the shave and shower. Aha! The evacuation was a little easier today – Small blessings are all welcome! I fang-you! Unfortunately for me, the again.
During this session, the
