Struggling Inchy: Tuesday 12th November 2024

It was not as dark as last night, and it was even less dark three hours later. Third emptying: Around three more hours later, I Cracked it!
Looking far healthier now.
Mind you, I think I must have drunk about eight litres of spring water every hour. Does anyone remember the Doctor Who episode? I think it was a film, maybe The Waters of Mars? You’ll understand what I mean if you do recall the storyline.
Hehehe!

By 04:00 hrs, I was up and about, almost alive, really. I went to the wet room, where I unwillingly spent about fifteen minutes waiting and forcing, encouraging the motion to move. Eventually, a long, broad, massive torpedo slowly emerged. I remained seated for a short while, half in relief of the riddance finishing and half to catch my breath. It was agony and hard work this morning. There was no mess, no bleeding. Great! Mind you, Harold’s Haemorrhoids suffered a fair bit, and they bled. The Germoloids were utilised.

I did feel a fool when I realised that as I kept wiping away the blood, but it just kept coming; this was unusual. Eventually, the penny dropped – The blood was coming from my cut thumb end on the toilet paper, not the piles! I think I managed a wry smile before verbally castigating and criticising myself.

The Iceland order arrived.
Chicken thighs, Milk Roll Loaf, salt, turkey meat, spring waters, crisps, Marmite, bleach, etc. delivered.
The fridge looked terribly bare and sparse after I’d put things away.
The Christmas seasonal coffee I bought for the carers & nurses had a short use-by date on them. On the other hand, the freezer looked well cram-packed, but this was deceiving.
There were so many foods in there that I could not cook now that the cooker had died. Can’t afford another one yet.
But I’ll not starve, well, I don’t think so.
I cleared the stuff away and made an order from Ocado for delivery next Wednesday, the 20th, 06:30 > 07:30 hrs.

Carer Chloe arrived at 08:30 hrs. I asked her to fit my diabetic socks on my legs first thing. It’s damn cold today.
Chloe did the domestic call later.
I blogged for a few hours. Getting the computer to save photos was and still is hard and frustrating.

I got the Ocado order dispatched, and computer work had to stop for hours. I was in and out of it so often, never for long, but it was annoying.

I managed to get on Word Press Reader. There is some beautiful poetry and magnificent photography. I’m going to take a picture from Tim Prices’ site to use as the Cat of the Week photo. Tim Price’s Silver!
Had his quota of cheese,
And boy, he looks at ease!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
He speaks with a forked tongue, indeterminately,
He steals from pensioners, a gerontophobee!
He shows mordacity, & leads minaciously,
Accepts back-handers, anything, credulously,
Clothes, glasses, Arsenal tickets for free,
He comes across as being rather sleazy…
Lies by omission, with great nugacity,
He looks like a land-based manatee,
Lacking in sympathy and humanity,
He’ll cause more voters lachrymosity,
He brings out my hatred and lubricity!

Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (15 May 2024). Mossman was jailed for three and a half years and McKenna for three years. That poor man could have died! I’d have given them life on bread & water for nourishment. No visitors. In solitary, if they dirty the cell, it stays that way. A bucket between them for excrement use. No medical treatment. Just my view, of course.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s been another day of confusion, I’m afraid. It all started when I woke up around 05:00 hrs. The only way I can explain how I got out of bed is that I fell out of it! Well, no, I got out and watched the nocturnal catheter bag did not slip down and give Little Inchy’s Fungal lesion a painful tug. I put my right food on the ground, and as gave way,  then a series of  kicked off! A combination that guaranteed . As I thundered downwards, I hit my lip and nose on the table, I think. But, at least I was in the perfect place to haul my overweight body back up onto the bed. Finding a cut lip, bleeding nose, and Little Inchy bleeding from the tube during the kerfuffle. So, I got the Catheter emptied and decided to medicate things and do my ablutions. No outright winner twit Trotsky and Constipation Conrad, TT had an advantage over Love-15. Hehe!
After cleaning up, I medicated first. It took some effort to stop the bleeding on the lip, and the nose still trickled a smidgeon. Then, I tended to clean up Little Inchy, painful!
Washed myself all over, well, where I could reach. Barrier creamed the stomach and around Little Inchy. Then Germoloided the sore Haemorrhoids of Harold. Germolened the lip and set about shaving, being careful not to catch the cut on the lip with the razor, successfully. But did cut my earhole a bit. As I made up and took the waste bags to the doorway, I began to feel Dizzy Dennis coming on. He’d not bothered me for months now. It could have been brought on by the wake-up fall earlier, I suppose. Dizzy Dennis was in good form. I really thought I was going to go over it again, several times over the day. But Cartilages Chloe and Carole were good to me. A sudden bout of stomach-churning and rumbling sent me back to the . This time, it was  in full control.
The lip had started bleeding again, so I cleaned it and put some antiseptic disinfectant on the top lip. This is when I noticed the Red Eye was a lot worse today, or rather, the white part of the eye was no longer white.
Carer Christopher took this picture of it when he came later. He also sent me some pictures on his mobile phone and emailed them to me.
I think the lad took them from the balcony, but do not know when he did so.
The top one was taken from the first building, Winchester Court. Cause it shows the traffic island near the bus stop.
The other two were shot on different days; they were from the balcony, I think.
Jolly decent of him!
He knows I’m struggling with my camera with the blotches that so annoy me.

Back on the timeline. I took this as I booted up the computer to update yesterday’s blog. It didn’t take long for more hassle to heave into reality and jolly-well pickle me off.

WordPress was still loading differently than the chosen graphics, which I knew nothing about until the end when I did a preview! I suspect it was me that had done something wrong, but WordPress would not let me delete them!
I had to go back to CorelDraw and save it as a different name, then reload it into WordPress while the wrong picture was selected. I found out by trial & error.
As I said, it was likely my error! Then…
All the CorelDraw icons suddenly went to large ones again. I only had the middle strip available to see the page to work on.
Pissed off, I was called to the Throne a third time! Took me ages to clean up afterwards. I found that the lip had been bleeding again. This time, I cleaned it up and put some Germolene on it this time. That should do it.
When I got back to the computer, the icons were back to the minuscule ones. There is no option for a ‘medium size’, normal, or large only, and believe me, they are tiny or massive. With my eyes, it is difficult and time-consuming.
Then…   On MS Word to create the ode, I got baffled by all the Need to reset MS Word messages. More time was lost trying to understand what various terms meant on the options offered. I gave up, I had to click a ‘Remind Me Later’ button to get it to go off of the screen. They’ll be back. Grrr!

I got the meal thought over, planned, and partly prepared at a ridiculously early hour. I can’t remember when mid-afternoon, I think.
A can of minced beef, some Mediterranean chunky tomato sauce, a packet of black bean sauce, and a drop of Mushroom Ketchup went into the saucepan with a can of garden peas and got well stirred up. I even thought I might have some chips with it. It’s been there on the stove and stirred a few more for nine hours now.
This blog is taking so long because of all the time lost with the MS Word, CorelDraw, and WordPress farcicalness. That’s not the right word, but I’m getting fed up with moaning.

The blotches were covered by the colouration in this teatime shot of the wonderful sky with beautiful, eerie clouds, I was almost talking to them.
Well, well well, a record for this year to date, it was back to the Porcelain Throne yet again.
This time, it was almost a total reversal. Ruled by Trotsky Terence. So much so that I had a go at the crossword book while sitting there, wondering if the partly protruding concert and metal Torpedo was ever going to get any further on its escape plan! More blogging time is lost.
It is nearly midnight now. I’ll have to play catch-up in the morning and get the meal done and eaten. Since I don’t have chips, I’ll have a couple of baguettes to soak up the fodder.
Back in the morning. Well, I hope to be.

Now, I can’t get into comments on WordPress! Curse!
Now, the reader page is not working. Just showing everything, not what I want. Pissed-off!
What going on?
Can anyone please advise me?

Despite today’s frustrating, annoying, problem-filled day, the literal agony of the poor, tugged-away-at-by-the-catheter tube, gunge, and blood extruding poor Little Inchie, I enjoyed the meal of the day so much.
I soon got it all inside my wobbly, overweight tummy.
Got the pots washed.
And took this snap of the wonderful view on offer through the kitchenette window. Another slightly eerie-looking one.

How did you do?

Sorry for the missing regulars today. It was not a good day mentally, frustratingly, Whoopsiedangleplopwise, or medically.
In the midst of trying to sort out so many things that had gone wrong, I’d done incorrectly or failed. Several seizures visited me throughout the afternoon. These, I would have thought, would give me a break or rest of sorts. But, no. I was drained mentally and physically, earlier than ever in the day. I’ve got scribbled notes for the first few hours, so there is some gossip to tell. Hehe!
I imagine that last night’s tumbles played a part in the day’s struggles and tribulations today.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Jolly good colouring.

The burn scab had lost a few bits.

The ablutions seemed to go well, but of course no showering yet, too early in the day. The noise from the drain may bother my fellow oldies and cost them sleep.

Made up some waste bags for collection.
Carer Chris arrived. Guesstimation here. No, it was Caregiver Richard. His foot was still playing him up.

Made a brew of Glengettie tea and got the computer on. I was already well behind and about to get worse. This is when the ‘Out-of-its’ started off.

Notepad scribble consulted: Not that I could read much of it. Did I really write that small? I must be mad. A lot of it was illegible.
The fonts on the computer had changed on all MS programmes. The Helvetica font was now changed to Arial on all the MS sights… or even sites. Yet I could use it on CorelDraw? I lost hours searching for help with the problem. All seemed hopeful until I tried to follow the instructions, as with all four sites’ advice; the task got more complicated than it got me into dangerous ground of changing options, and what they suggested was not on the page they’d led me to. Afternoon, Carer Marie arrived and saw me, I carried on searching and trying things not too technical to solve the problem. I even uploaded different fonts Google said were very similar to Arial. Ha! Not on MS, they weren’t! They all changed as soon as I tried to use them. I’ve got hundreds of unwanted fonts now taking up valuable memory. Tried to delete them and found for various reasons, I was told if I delete this font, things will not appear the same on work done? Summat like that, repeatedly! I gave up altogether and did no more work on this blog until now, Tuesday AM, 07:00hrs.
I started to concentrate on CorelDraw, and it froze! I turned off the computer really early in the afternoon.

Frustrated!
But over time, I did get to take some photos of the sky & clouds from the kitchen window.
First two.
The blotches back on the camera lens.
I cleaned them, we’ll see on the next ones.
I can’t tell if the blotches were there or not.
Ah, yes, this time I saw them.
I’ll try cleaning the lens again.

Had an early meal.
Ham sandwiches and chips. I forgot about the tomatoes. Tsk! A pot of ketchup with pickles to dip the sandwiches in. Hehehe! Mandarins in an orange jelly dessert pot. Nice!

Carer Chris called for the last two visits.

I fell asleep in the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300 ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner.
But I was waking up every few minutes. There were no tonight at all.
Talk about broken sleep! It was instead of the ankle shocks, it was to blame. It was purgatory waking up so often, then chewing over the put-downs and mocking coming from within my poor brain.

A bad day i Zn just one way. Memory Blanks.
What the heck I’d been doing for nearly four hours, remains a mystery. Other than taking photographs which were all taken without the SD card in the camera, I remember the internet going down… well, the Google Browser, I think. Good job I got the extra intro items done before the blackouts. So any blank spaces are because the memory is blank. Sorry, but I can recall some of the earlier stuff… I hope.

Better colour this morning.

Carer Christopher arrived. Leggings and medications

I washed the food containers. Then myself.

Early kitchen view.

Later kitchen view.
The rain was back again.

End car park mudslide.

Two hours later, as I was cooking the meal, I realised I’d lost endless photos by not seeing the warning on Kodak Tim. Huh! New batteries were put in, and finished making the meal, then photographed it.
Tomatoes with extra passata with basil. Misshaped bits of bacon and soy mini sausages.

Google went to pot, windows with moving and flashing numbers next to each line that I couldn’t understand anyway. I thought I’d photograph it in case someone can tell me. Froze eventually.
I gave up, turned everything off and put the TV on.
Fell asleep for two hours.
Tried the computer again, but no-go!

Carer Joanne arrived with another gal. We had a laugh, although I had to force it a little.

Getting dark now, I gave it a go on the computer, and by Jimminee, it was working? So I got on with this blog while I could. But just when I thought things were getting better, an unexpected drainage of willpower, contention and interest hit me.
I just turned off and sat down in a weary mind full of haze and confusion. Not good this.

Up to now…

So, a quickie while it;s working…

Terrible dark night bag!

Only four visits today.

The main bother today was.
The urine was still dark.

Took this shot of the 03:30hrs morning view.
Back to the Throne.

Day pouch filled up quickly without me having anything to eat yet? Darker than ever now?

A wobbly shot of the moon taken.

Medical items are listed for the nurse.

Tray washed, waste bags amalgamated.

Then found some out-of-date food, so another bag to go.

No idea why I took this one.

Carer Shaquille arrived. Put on the fresh day bag.
Medications issued. Treats and off he went, taking the bags with him. Thank you.

Carer Chris arrived doing domestic. Mopped the kitchen with the speedmop, and wet room for me.

Wash and mess made and cleaned up after using the Trotsky-controlled Porcelain Throne.

Mug of tea at long last.

Carer Sam arrived PM.
I made an order for Asda for next week.

played up doing it, summat rotten!

I missed this shot off, of the third try this morning.

Spent hours getting CorelDraw to perform for me.
Managed it, but don’t know how?.

Mistakes Disclosures

Going to sort some food out now.
See ya later!
I hope!

Morning, I’m backeth with you…

. Tried again…
Ah, that was better.
Taken to the right.

Too tired to cook owt, so I had a Pork Farms Pork pie, pickled beetroot, and Milk Roll bread…
with slices of Flora not-butter, butter.
The new recipe Pork Farms pork pies,
were pale, fatty, and tasteless. But
the beetroots was nice, and the Milk
Roll bread with the gorgeous Flora
no-butter butter… Great!
Taste-Rating: 6.5/10.
I  still ate it all. Then a brainwave appeared!
I’ll put the jelly in a dish and cover it with
some of the cream spray.
So, I did. Here is the photo taken…
I hadn’t noticed it last night, but when I came to uploading it this morning, my Pareidoliaising could see something in the bowl. Can you see it, before reading further?
↓
↓
↓
↓
Purely by accident, I’d created the face of a curly white-haired dog as I sprayed the cream on? Haha!
I wonder if the Tate Gallery would be interested?

I tried a final photo after washing the dishes.
again!
A bit better, I suppose.

I find it so easy to falter,
Often getting into a fluster,
Get conned by a fraudster…
I’ve already paid the undertaker,
Hope he wasn’t another trickster!
All my life, I’ve been a bystander,
I should have been boulder…
Been more of a grandstander?
To avoid the many a cold shoulder,
I could meet Putin, the genocider?
Both dead, we couldn’t kill each other!
My real wish is to again meet Grizelda!

Inchy: Thurs 12 Oct 2023 – A late cluster of mishaps!

– – – – – – – – – A Fit Lot – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Easy-Peasy! Well…
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A horrible day of ups & downs.
Although the ups were enjoyed.
I was doomed to have more downs.
Along with my having to put the right
leg up every four hours. And now suffer increased
pain when I return to my feet after each rest
session. I’m hoping the District nurse will return
today. The compression bandage has slipped down, returning to the constant, almost stabbing-like
pains whenever the flipping fluid flows out.
Which this morning, is getting oftener.
On two leg-up occurrences, up to now, I’ve
nodded off and lost even more time for to blog
and photographicalisationings.
Still, there are plenty of folk worse off than I.

Eerie morning view of the kitchen from the doorway.

Yet another not-so-good picture taken from the kitchenette window. Lots of lights on for 04:40hrs?

Made up a waste bag. (Exciting this innit? Hehe!)

Then, within about an hour, I had to utilise the wet room and , no less than 3-times! All were under the control of . But were different in about everything. Texture, pong etc…
.
Then…
Then…
porc tttA good variety today?

Toes & legs improvement… well
at least I got the one remaining slipper on.
Then changed my mind
when I smelt the ping of urine floating up
into my nostrils. So I dished both slippers, along
with the three bags of waste, down the chute.

By the time that arrived, I’d been on the computer for about an hour and had just suffered…

Blogged away after he’d gone, for about half an hour…
.

returned, and I utilised the , and took his Health Checks.
Looking fine fettle, the lad is!

Then a major unanticipated kip of the day!
I had to give the leg a rest up on the chair. So, I got into the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, to get some respite from the leg wounds.
I had a look at the Freeview schedule and expected that an episode of ‘Pie in the Sky’ was on for an hour. Well, I thought, that’ll do me, nicely for one of the four hours of leg-up time. Zzz! Nodded off at the first set of adverts, and woke up about five hours later!

Stirred, caught my balance and onto my feet, emptied the . Then I added some Christmas giveaway drinkies, and some AA batteries to the Asda order for next week.

I got some of the cheapo Asda Essential chips from the freezer, and I got them into the oven. Finished on the computer, I’d not even started this blog until the morning.
They looked nice when I got them in the dish and served up. They were the most disgusting, flavourless chips I’ve had in my life. And believe me, I must have had many thousands of them over the years. Urgh!
The soy pads were the same… the tomatoes were fine as were the garden peas… as for the strawberry dessert, which got knocked on the floor, and I crushed it with as I got up to retrieve it, and the jam squirted out, over my slipper and the carpet. Not the most successful mealtime I’ve had!

But worse was to follow! I was about to wash the pots and had to visit the wet room, for yet another visit.
Amazing! Just wind emitted? With the state of my innards and bladder, amazing is not the right word, is it?

As I took this photo of my feet and legs, I got a whiff of urine strongly? On investigation, I realised that the open-close valve on the day bag was indeed in the open position again! The left foot squelched as I took a step!
The last of the slippers was laid to rest (disinfected, wrapped up well, and thrown in the waste bag) amidst a silent chant from me, filled with F-words and various others of a derogatory & cursing nature. I think I may have spat in the WC as well… if I didn’t, I should have! I did get an odd moment of satisfaction as I lobbed it down the waste chute, and with a short funeral soliloquy… of five words. I then returned hobblingly, due to pain from to the flat… back to clean up the mess in the wet room, and then spat in the WC!
What can go wrong next, I asked myself…
I’ll tell you!
With all the hobbling I’d done, was now bleeding. So, I cleaned that up, got the cream on him, and had to change the PPs. Got the old ones off without any bother. With the assistance of , I got the fresh ones on with almost ease. Great! for a second…

You can laugh at this series of s. I know I did. What fun they were, they had me in tucks! Especially the last one, coming up now
gave way instantly the moment I put my leg down. Naturally, the leg crumpled and being as I’d got at that time, , and with no stick, stick within grabbing range all day! It was hilarious! As the valve flipped open when the fragile hit the deck, with all the mass weight of my cumbersomely heavy body weight and the currently bloated, by compression bandages landed on top of the pouch. Hahaha! Cleaning things up was a pleasure, which I carried out while singing to myself, smiling and then whistling. It took me 40 minutes to do.

Then a dreadful, scary, shocking, blood-curdling thought entered my head… Had I left the taps (faucets) running in the kitchen when starting to do the pots, before having to abandon things to use the , and got distracted by all the , and farcicalness, from when I was washing up the pots?

I had!

Not a good end to the day, really…

Cheers!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Since my birth, I’ve been an unlucky Virgoean,
Born proletarian, and abecedarian,
A lack of education and articulation,
A new fungal growth on my abarticulation…
A born loser, an attractor of spite & abusion,
My dreams, and hopes, all ended in destruction.
I’m gullible, submissive, & accept coercion…
From almost anyone, whoever is the person,
I used to get the odd day that was halcyon,
But those times are now long gone…
Got a card and email both a birthday one.
Then continued pondering over the operation…
Will it go ahead? I feel apprehension.
Life is full of mental & health tension…
No one to pay me any attention…
Coping daily with pointless iterations.
And what happened to the United Nations?
No chance of me committing self-jugulation,
My whole life has been a misapprehension,
But I’m used to it now, the dank depression.
The PN problems with my neurotransmission,
Cognitive Impairment Iris? I offer submission!
All my ailments… this is an admission…
Are a part of me, a natural inclusion,
Like the repeated blood transfusion…
This piffle may include some contradictions,
My hearings at the point of decimation,
My eyesight is suffering degradation,
My walking is turning to hobbling and limping!
I still love to do some cloud pareidoliaing,
Cognitive Impairing Iris is most troubling,
So, my memory includes some guesstimating.
My regular falls can be a little nerve-wracking,
The crawl to the recliner, to get up, irritating,
Fall-Team Sarah ordered a bed; I’m waiting…
All a part of PN, the Whoopsiedangleplopping!
Cuts, bruises, dropping things, and falling,
My life must come over as being appalling?
I’m not moaning, more sort of whimpering…
Yet my hopes are not sunk, just sinking!
One Birthday Card, one via emailing…
At least I got two folks me well-wishing!
Many have got nothing,
To those, I’m now singing…
“♥ Happy Birthday to You! ♥”
I hope that your cheer is now replenishing!
.

03:50hrs: Back to imitation life. I came close to toppling out of the £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, as I bent down to get freed from the Excellent shade of urine this morning. A fuller bag as well!

Off to the kitchen to check on the taps and cooker.
Taking two shots of the morning view.
Another bad one is aboveThis close-up looked eerie

Got the waste bags sorted from the bins

The Porcelain Throne was visited.

Then I started the
The teeth bled again, the instant the brush got close to one of the few rotten teeth I had left in my mouth. Leaving me with pain from .
A few nicks shaving. A good stand-up bath then tackled the ailment treatments. as per usual. I tried the Sudocrem as the Germoloid and Germolene had very little left in each tube. And not much chance of getting any more. But it is not effective, really. It went on , then painfully onto . I didn’t get any olive oil for the ears either, so used what drop I had left sparingly, and this was not good, as my hearing was so much worse than usual.

And got the computer on…

When it returned, the Norton was showing messages that meant little to me. No idea what it wanted me to do. It’s so confusing!

Carer Richard arrived. He looked well knackered, bless him. Not much chin-wagging… if any, today. He kindly took the laundry down with him and waste bags.

So, I got the photos taken of the Ginsters Cheese & Onion pastie with the metal shard found inside. I searched for Ginster’s email number, found it easily enough, and double-checked that I’d spelt it correctly, but Google, did not recognise it? So did another search and found a site to contact them… What a farce!
It was so complicated. But eventually, after an hour or so, it accepted my complaint.
I sent these photos in. They said someone would contact you, but  I’ve heard nothing from them, yet.
Then I lost the flipping shard of metal! The intercom went and it was the ~Iceland delivery coming. After sorting out the food, I just couldn’t remember where I put it, or find it. Grumph!
The form to fill in, well, a part of it.

ICELAND ARRIVE
FOOD!
The driver took the bags through to the kitchen for me.
Some cleaners put away
Panini rolls; went into the freezer, and I took out a loaf of wholemeal to defrost. The desserts, Rustlers and soy balls went in the fridge, and the bananas were on the shelf.

Took this later shot of the puffer clouds.
Back on the computer…

Made the funny ode about the birthday up and got it on here.
Then started to update the Sunday blog.
It took me a long while for some reason. I wondered if I may have fallen asleep? You never know

SUDDENLY FATIGUED – Again!
This scenario has been happening now and then for the last two weeks or so. It’s horrible! Physically drained, feeling so tired, weary. Just had to stop everything, couldn’t even get a meal. I was fixated on getting some sleep. Down on the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, and sleep came quickly.
The 18:00hr Carer called, not that I can recall too much of what happened. I think it was Carer Benjamin. The moment he departed, I was back in the land of nod. He returned minutes later, with my laundry bag, as I was getting my dinner… well, an iced sucker from the freezer. Sad, innit? Then, I had to hang and store the washing. Doing this simple task wore me out!

Back in the recliner…and the Landline Flashed. I was tempted to leave it, but, rightly as it happens, I had an idea (it was right, too! From my EQ) it might be Sister Jane, so I rose up and answered the telephone. I was not fully compos mentis, but we had a good chin-wagging session. Which, confused and tired as I felt, I did enjoy. Jane is going in for her Glaucoma operation on Wednesday. I wonder if I could get there to show her support? If I remember, I’ll ask the Carer in the morning to see if the people can fit me in for a ride to the EENT? I’d love to get to show her some attention. I’ll do that! I felt a smidge better after nattering and listening to Jane. ♥

Back in the recliner. Zzz! Where I stayed until his last call. I think he showed concern at my lack of response to him. I woke up occasionally, to find the legs had swollen. On the next wakening… Guilt! I espied in the waste bin near the chair… several empty Cheesy Curl packets, and crumbs on the night cover and floor! But just nodded off yet again. After this, it was back to waking up every few minutes with hypnic-myoclonic jerking me awake, then nodding off again and repeating the process, on and on and on, it went!

Today was undoubtedly one of the best days health-wise for many weeks. But the worst mentally.

Ah, well, yer can’t win them all!

03:30: Woke and spent a few minutes worrying over anything and everything. I could feel the ticker beating heavily, so I stayed there in the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, and spent time on concentrating what needs doing today, then had to work out what day it was. Plainly, I must have been having a dream that affected me, but I cannot recall having one?

Then I detached the night bag from the gripper on the . The pouch was lighter in colour and much fuller than of late.

Feeling much better now, I got the waste bags into one bag…
and taken to the front door.

A different than of late colouring to the morning view from the kitchenette window.

I made up some Spring Water bottles, adding a little orange juice and lime to the other.

Remembering I’d not even started yesterday’s blog yet, I got the computer on to add the photos from the Kodak… but…

Then I got carried away again, making up the personal diary I’ve been doing for years, on Excel. I tried the internet a few times, and eventually, it came back on… for five minutes!
Back to the dictionary of words.
back on.

Back to the dictionary of words.

It was struggling to get back on, so I lost aeons saving everything, all off – and again had to reset the box. Wait the regulation for 10 minutes and turn it back on. Twice, before it activated!

Got carried away again, and the Carer arrived. Blimey! I’d been up for about five hours already and I’d got nowt done! It was Carer Rhamat, a nice gal. I took her Blood pressure as I took mine. Hers came out as ‘IDEAL’ on the NHS thingamabob. SYS 120, DIA 70, Pulse 91, Temperature 36.8 Great! Mine? Well… SYS 148 DIA 78 Pulse, 74 Temp 36.9.

At last, I made a start on yesterday’s blog. Time is running out already! I persisted, despite the failure now at

Got the blog posted to WordPress, and off to the wet room to activate the functionalisationing.
The new Sudocrem ointment is not effective at all, I’m afraid.
Germolene and Germoloids supply are so low now!
Having to ration the use of them, but paying for this in terms of discomfort and pain. Does the Prime (No idea) Minister know?

Brightening up a little out there. lovely puffers!

The summoned me back to the wet room. This time it was back in control.

.

Then I got the eyes done. and then when that had dried the
As I was about to check to see if I had some more Olive Oil in stock to use… the pouch began to slip down. THE bladder was pumping it out better, as it does now and then, to catch me out! Then… and it’ll be hard to explain this, but I’ll try to…

I bent to empty the , as I was flipping the rubber end to encourage the final few drops of urine to come out… I think something shot out of the tube… Here is the best photo I could manage of it with the Kodak…
I could swear it was an insect of some sort. Where it came from puzzled me. The urine was almost a clear colour and I poured some to investigate what the thing was. It appeared to have tentacles at the thick end, and a head, at the other.
It shows up as red for some reason on the picture and is not clear. Bit in the urine, and after getting it out, it looked dark blue to me? Another Mystery of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasm, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? I wondered what the third one would be… they say puzzles come in threes?

For a change, when the current bottle of spring water ran out, I had a can of Bud (alcohol-free) never tried it before. And, I’ll never try it again, terrible! Ah, well…
So, I made a reliable mug of Glengettie tea, unfortunately, this means none will be allowed for me tonight. Two a day is the limit… mind you, I can have as many mugs of decaffeinated as I fancy. Have you ever tried decaf tea? Don’t! Urgh!

The toes and extremities were even whiter today!

Last photo of the day.
Well, I did take three more, but I’d left the flipping SD card in the reader and didn’t realise. Grumph!

Messy Day, Nowt else to say
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Nocturnal wee-wee a little dark this morning.

Amazing… Green fluid from the bleeding teeth?
Medicationings
Germoloid and Germolene tubes getting near to empty.
The Sudocrem substitute used is not too bad, but it has no cooling qualities and is a little greasy.
The usually dithering session over which of the Protection Pants to put on. Used the smaller Asda unisex ones!
The ends of the toes are going properly white now?

Tea for two, well, just for me, I made a brew

Blepharitis gel and eye spray applied

Kitchen morning view

Waste bags sorted out

View of the balcony from indoors.
Went onto the balcony to take this car par shot of the excellently parked vehicles.
Then, I spotted a Carer parking up and walking into the flat. I took this quick picture through the glass to catch him…
What a terrible photo! He looks like a transparent ghost in this picture. Wonder who it is? Hahaha!

Off to the . With these results…

with a rattling good contribution by suddenly attacking me in unison. I was mentally immobilised for hours. I seriously thought of pressing the wrist alarm… but knew they could do nothing… it was birthed by and the dying-off . It has never lasted this long before, though. I moved from the computer to the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. moth-eaten, cringingly-beige coloured, grotty, bedraggled, dilapidated, crumb-containing for my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner, to await the ailments stopping. Which they did eventually, bo so slowly.
Two Carers called, not that I was with it enough to remember much. But they came, cause I saw they had signed the call log when I improved enough to get up for a wander around to see how things reacted. Another weird thing, after I’d been sat down for a few minutes, I had a cracking, body-shaking, violent ; and this is only the second time I’ve had one of these while sat down.
Things seem to settle after a little hobble about with . But I’d lost a heck of a long time for doing the blogging… again!

I was with it all right when the night Carer Altere arrived.
Took these early evening cloud shots decent enough…

Amazing, the black and then white cloud formations tonight!

No chance to get this blog started, so did it early in the morning. Although I didn’t get any sleep during my hours resting, I still felt so tired.

Got the meal prepared, a nice, easy-to-make one.
Tomatoes, instant mash with some Leicester cheese added to it, and the battered balls were done in the air-fryer. It may have been because I was feeling so much better than I did earlier, but I really enjoyed this little dish. Taste: 8.4/10!

The Carer kindly washed the bowl for me.

After I thanked him and he left, I spotted this view, that demanded to be photographed!

Brilliant!
Even if I do say so myself!

I soon fell asleep. I woke up early (03:30hrs) and made a start on this blog at long last.

TTFNski!

INCHY TODAY

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

For once, things seemed to be going not too bad at all when I stirred in the £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, which was a bit of a shock to me, as you can understand. Not exactly full of the joys of spring, but the depression and Peripheral Neuropathy aches, shakes, and pains were noticeably absent this morning! At first, I thought I must have died during the night. And the Thought Storms were not pestering me either!
This state of non-panic or worrying mode… unfortunately, lasted only fugitively. As I lowered one leg at a time from the chair on which they were rested overnight, I managed to stub my right foot toe… my , against the waste bin. Guilt at my having moved it nearer to me last night to drop the crumbs and bits in as I nocturnally nibbled away at my cheese curls served to lower my previously pathetic moment of almost exhilaration at the lack of pains coming from within my blubbery body! Then, in mid-wailing, the other leg gave a mini , and slipped off of the other side of the chair, the knee hitting, with some venom, on the, which shot across to the Carer’s table and knocked a bottle of the expensive eye lotion off the counter… Yes, it hit the deck, and the cap came off – releasing about £6 worth of medication, which is currently clinging on like glue to the slipper it fell in!
Good Morning!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

After initial, almost traditional morning mayhem, I needed to get the goolies, toe and knee sorted out, then clean up the mess. This did not go well. However, a cheery bit came to me: The Urine in the night bag was the best it’s been for ages… Colourwise!

Arthur Itis was gelled off to the wet room, and some cream put on the toe – it wasn’t easy, but I managed it painfully! With the unplanned leg exercises, I found . So, it cost me even more cash, and I had to apply creams, not only the Fungal Lesion but Phorpain Gel, to Arthur’s knees, but and now I’m on the last drop of Germoloids!
I’m a bit dubious about the ankle conditions this morning.
Hope they are not going to start ulcerating again! Still, fingers crossed. I got the Asda PPs on again. They seem small but did the job of containing the blood leaking out this morning… Good!
I sorted the waste bags and placed them in the hallway near the door.
Then, off to the kitchenette to get the kettle on for a mug of Glengettie tea. The morning view from the window. The first two I took did not come out well at all? Carer Shaquille arrived. After he’d left, I got the computer on. Shame! Humph! I decided to get the potatoes in the crockpot while waiting for to return to service. I’d
forgotten to make the brew of tea. So, I made a brew of the Glengettie tea.
Not that I got to drink it. The net came back on, and all my somewhat rather limited concentration went on starting yesterday’s blog.

Better late than never? But it didn’t last long!
Titivated the area around the Carer’s Chair & table.
The little hand vacuum is on the way out, methinks. There’s not much oomph left; the light showed the battery as fully charged, too. Pity, but it’s lasted for some years now.
Rechecked on the cooking. I put the potatoes into the saucepan with the other vegetables in it, added some tomato puree, stirred it and left it on a low heat setting.
Got the eyes sprayed, then the applied it to both eyes.
I must try the Sudocrem in the morning. The Germolene & Germoloid medications seem unavailable at any shop at the moment. I’m not expecting it to work, but I’ll try it anyway.
Got the meal prepped and served up. This one was worth all the time and effort it took.
Flavour-Rating: 9.3/10!

Carer Benjamin called for the last visit.
I’d , chimed from the doorbell, and Benjamin came in, checking that he was putting the light on before doing so. He is aware of my sight problems; bless him. He issued me with the Peptac and painkillers. Then got the night pouch attached to the day bag.
After asking him if he didn’t mind me doing so, I took the photo above of Benjamin in the Balcony. I wanted a picture of the hill dwellings to the left of the flats in the frame. That’s the ‘Upper-Crust’ housing area, Mapperley Hall Drive. With a few lower-class ones on the edges, mostly converted into flats by the Oligarch owners. That’s where the two bodies were found murdered last month… or was it in June?  I bade a thank you farewell to the lad.

Got back in the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. Moth-eaten, cringingly-beige-coloured, grotesque, grotty, bedraggled, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not-working recliner.

But sleep would return and kick off again. So after an hour or two of failed sleep-searching, I checked the taps (faucets) and the cooker was not left on or running.
What a view from the kitchenette window presented itself!
I thought the entire sky looked so much like the surface of a planet at first, maybe the moon’s? With possible lava coming from underground.

The rest of the night was spent with the thoughts tormenting me, with precious few minutes of nodding offs interspersed here and there, each followed by moments of myoclonus.

A Bonus Ode from Inchy
A rarity indeed…
MY BRAIN’S CHANGING!

I’ve worked something about myself out…
My brain is erecting a mental redoubt,
It realises there’s been a turnabout…
And is now permanently on the lookout…
For Cognitive Impairment Iris, without a doubt…
Who’s using my cerebrum as a hideout!
Where she plays, on her gadabout!
Creating senseless thoughts that whirlabout?

She could cause me a brain brownout!
It’d be good if she’d just clear out!
Well, it’s time now for me to phase out…
Now, where’s that bottle of stout?

Fare Thee All, Well!
