Maori: Paraire 22nd Whiringa 2019

01:05hrs: As I stirred into a pretend life, the mind was starting to go off on one of its fear-storms; Luckily the need for a Porcelain Throne visit saved the day, and the brain was diverted to the urgent need of getting out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner! This morning, my freeing of the gargantuanly-flobby body and onto the feet, was probably on a par with sorting out Brexit! I’ll not go into the embarrassing reasons, but it took me the best part of half-an-hour to get to the wet room – by which time I was too late!
The session was messy, the wee-weeing took an age to stop, Little Ichies fungal lesion needed attention, and the sanitising and medicationalisationing afterwards, has never taken more time to get done! I managed, although my spirits were low now, with the discomfiture, self-consciousness and mortification of what had just happened! Guilt and shame were in there somewhere too!Â
I took the medications, made a brew, and got on with updating the Thursday blog. At least the myasthenia gravis was a lot easier than yesterday, so even with so many photographs to sort and get in it, it took me far less time today. I seemed to resist my iracundulous thoughts and actions today, and this was a good thing. (I hope I’ve used the right word?)
I went to make another brew and took three photos out of the new, mostly unwanted, unliked, thick-famed, light & View blocking kitchen window. I took each one in different settings: Night Landscape, Aperture Priority and Landscape.
I then got on with Pinterest posting, and on to TFZer Facebooking. After which, I went on the WordPress Reader section.
Ablution time, so off to the wet room – which was another bit of unexpected good-luck for me. Within seconds of stripping off, the Porcelain Throne needed attending! Talk about miraculous timing! This concerned me, with my plans to get out shopping in Arnold for some bread, milk and another thing on the list, which I can’t recall at the moment. I hope nothing untoward happens in the rear-end-exiting stakes while I’m out!
I made up and took five small bags to the waste chute, then returned to the flat, and went through the double-checking routines. Seeking substantiation, validation, verification and confirmation that I had not left something on or off, that shouldn’t be. Lights, taps (faucets), doors etc., and not entirely convinced that I had, (and in a dilemma, positivity and confidence never having been my forte for many years now) I garbed up warmly and departed. I met Malcolm on the way down.
I visited Mary’s flat on the way, I’d not seen her for a while. Just to see if she’s alright. But she was not in, so she might well be at the bus stop?
Met the lady, whose name escapes me, I can never remember. Tsk! As I got out of the lift. A natter and the nibbles came out.
I called at the ILC’s (Independent Living Coordinator’s) holding and interrogation office, where I handed a worried-harrassed-looking stern-faced Catwalk Model and Scharfhureress Warden Julie and handed her a nibble. The EQ told me to get out of her way, (I’m no hero!) into the big Winwood Social Room.
I sat in a high chair for a while, musing, stewing about life. Which did me no good at all, everything, (and a lot did fleet-through the mind), that went through the brain-box was of a negative nature I’m afraid. Perspicacious, logical, commonsensical, reasoned, coherent or even insightful ponderations, they were not.
I pulled myself away from the gloomy thoughts and poddled out to the bus stop. Aha! There was Mary, with Penny, Dot and Malcolm. I joined with a “Good morning, each!”, and handed out the nibbles. I enjoyed listening to Malcolm’s entertaining well-presented story of his visit to a theme park with the Grandkids, and the general moaning, laughing and
grumps. Hehehe! Penny looked twinkling eyed. Mary was in good form and well.
The L9 arrived for Bestwood, and by then Cindy, Chrissie, Welsh William, Dot, Bill (William on Sundays), and others had joined us. I got on and in the corner Side-saddle seat, and snuggled in the drop board – for I had recognised the driver, and anticipated my having a battle not to be dislodged from the saddle at every corner the bus took. And so it was to be. Hehe! I did try doing the crosswords, but it was too dangerous, with having to cling on the bus furniture and hold the trolley from rolling away, despite the brakes being applied.

I dropped off of the bus in Arnold Front Street and had one of the worst Dizzy Dennis attacks ever. I was genuinely concerned and leant against some pedestrian crossing railings for a while. Everything around me felt like a dream, and not connected with me? As people walked by me, they almost looked like ghosts! This amazingly didn’t last long, and within ten minutes or so, I felt confident enough, to gingerly venture over the crossing to the other side of the road, towards the Fulton Food store. By the time I reached the store, everything was back to reality, and no signs of the dizzies? I can’t deny being concerned so, that I thought for a moment “Hello, this is it!”, but not so.
I was soon in my element, shopping, and finding things that I did not need or want. Dropping items, not being able to reach some. And having to struggle to get the three-wheeler around the place. I ended up getting some bargains, though. Roast turkey slices for £1, Pork Farms Pork Pies, and Beef trimmings each at £1, and two bottles of Sterilised milk.

Paid the lady, and made my way to the High Road bus stop. The timing worked well, I had ten minutes before the bus was due and only had to walk up the Asda (Walmart) alleyway to the top to the bus shelter. As I was reaching the top near the car park, the L9 bus belted passed! It was five-minutes early! That’s if my charity-shop bought £2 wristwatch with its £10 replacement strap, was right of course! Grumph & Grobbleclogs! Grr!

So, I went back down the alleyway and went into the Asda (Walmart) store. To have a meander around while waiting for the next bus, from Front Street, that will take me back to the Mysteries of my beloved Woodthorpe Court, that lies somewhere between the twilight zone and a wormhole slipping through a tear in the fabric of space & the spacetime continuum, illusion, delusion, & hallucination!
It was a struggle to get around with so many customers, it is a Friday, so I suppose I should have expected it. I ended up at the self-serve-tills with, beetroot, fresh vine tomatoes, Milk Roll loaf, Sliced Wholemeal cobs, Potato cakes, and some mini swiss rolls. I paid-up, bagged the goods, and out to the bus stop on Front Street.
Passing near where I had the Dizzy Dennis spell earlier, made the goose-bumps come up. But I didn’t have any more of them.
When the bus got to Sherwood, it picked up some of my Windwood Heights fellow-tenants. My being st in the side-saddle seat, I greeted each one as they got on the bus. One even acknowledged me. By the time I got off the bus, last as is usual, and assisted down to the pavement by a Winchesteronian waiting to get on (Thank you, Sir!), all the others from the bus had disappeared inside Winchester Court. (Gawd, they’re quick! Hehehe!)Â
I went in and through the link passage to the big social room, and passed the Winwood Lobby, through the next link-passage into a cold, gloomy Woodthorpe Court lift lobby. Up in the elevator and into the flat, no wee-wee or Porcelain Throne visits needed, now that is a rarity!
I got the kettle on, then unloaded the Asda (Walmart) and Fulton Foods. Realising I had forgotten to get the toilet cistern cleaner blocks. Well, fancy that, me, forgetting something! Haha!
I decided , after considerable ponderisationing, on having frankfurters, gammon steaks, tomatoes, beetroot, apple and mini swiss rolls for my nosh.

But decided to get the handwashing done first. And worra mess I made doing it! During the rinsing-out stage, as I was emptying the bowl, the bloody Sensory nerves went on the blink, and I ended up dropping the bowl, with water over the sink and draining board, me and the floor! As luck would have it, I’d stripped off beforehand, ready to get the sleeping-gear on. So drying me was no problem at least. The floor was more of a struggle. No ululations, mind. I was almost pleased that my run of unnatural good luck had ended, and I was back in the real world.
I got the jammie-bottoms and the dressing gown that is too small for me, on. Finished the washing, freshening, wringing and hanging up to dry the shirt and socks.

Then got the meal served up, settled in the £300 second-hand recliner, and began the unfortunately very unpleasant task of eating the plate of evening fodder. Although it did look good, a few ingredients let me down tastewise and by my bad cooking! The gammon steaks were not my cup of tea at all, far too sweet! The worst of my errors was cooking the potato cakes with the gammon, the sweet fat soaked into the cakes, and they were uneatably sweet, too! Eurgh! The tomatoes were so tasteless! The frank’s, apple, beetroot and mini rolls were all fine. I had a couple of the wholemeal cobs as well. Flavour-Rating: 3/10.
I put another old DVD on to watch. Liam Neeson in ‘Taken’. I thought that a goodie-winning film might cheer me up a bit. I tried several times to take a picture of the box, but the nerve-ends were still playing up, and this was the best of the five efforts I tried, and not a good one. Huh!
I started to watch the film, drifted off to sleep, woke, rewound it and watched again… repeatedly! So I gave up after about an hour, and having only watched approximately ten-minutes worth of it! Ah, well!

Off the L9 and walked down Queen Street into the Nottingham’s Slab Square. It was a right mishmash again. Temporary overpriced stalls, eateries, rides scattered messily around everywhere. With the ice-rink in the centre somewhere. I could not get in to photograph it on Tuesday, but I found a way in without steps today! I got nestles in a corner of the rink-side for support, and had to take the photos through the side glass, as I could not use the camera with arms outstretched and keep it steady enough. Here are the best shots I could manage. Being the lucky person I am, as I positioned myself for photographicalisationing, a hooter went, and nearly all the skaters disappeared!
I hobbled from the Slb Square, and got to the Poundland Shop, on Wheeler Gate. Where I commenced on an overspending spree… again! But, I did get the batteries, too many maybe? Some Duracell AA for the radio (2x£1.50). And a big pack of 30 Kodak AA batteries for £2!
right too! I thanked the gal, but she was too busy to hear me, I think.

earlier, and for a coffee meeting I think. I said Hello to Obergruppenfureress Deana as I passed her and got no reply, she did look busy, bless her.
Made a salad of sorts. Seaweed, apple, cooked beetroot and the chicken slices and tomato sarnies. Enjoyable nosh that was. A flavour rating of 8.5/10!

Had a wash and did the teggies, keeping the door open all the time, in case the intercom went off. It’s getting dark a bit quick now, so I should see it when it lights up. That’s if it doesn’t break down again, of course. Grumph! I did a peek at the legs, got a couple more veins bulging and a new whatever it is (Glopidogrel?) above the left knee. Well, it makes a bit of interest dunnit!
I took a snap of the red sky from the unwanted, unliked, unpopular, light & view-blocking, can’t get to clean nor look down to the roadway for ay emergency vehicles cause I can’t hear the fire-alarm, thick-framed new cleverly designed kitchen windows.
being done up over the way. I was amazed at how light it came out, but I’m not complaining about it. The lads will have to pack-up working outside soon. A bit like Pete did when he won the lottery and had a fortune left him by an unknown relative. Still, he says he misses the few years when he was actually working for a living. Not that I’m jealous or anything, just surprised he had to steal my valuables while I was in the hospital after the stroke. Hehehe!

I do recall feeling sad and frustrated, that things beyond my control, and beyond my powers to solve or prevent, had happened. Perhaps this is meant to be? In my last existence, if I had one, I must have been a right ‘#-*%Zµ⊗]’d! Perhaps, it’s a way of easing departing the earthly life, as it gets less and less appealing? Well, it’s working!

I moved the handwashing onto the airers, and made a brew, and took the medications.
can of pork and ham, and orange biscuits.
Now I know what the building works were last week. Erecting another booze-den for Christmas. With bars, restaurants and pubs closing down all over the place, I think we could have done without this Danish delight of a Lager-Shed? The prices being asked might be keeping away Nottinghamian’s, though.
There was a Canadian Foodshed there as well. I thought of Chris, TFZ treasure Pattie and Andy in Canada. I must get some shots of the food on offer next time I go into town, to show the TFZers. This cabin had only just opened by the look of it. They do not have much room to work in. I detected no smells?
I got to the first Asian shop on Heahtcoat Street, called ‘Asian Mart’, and was lucky enough to find a similar product after asking an assistant and showing him the wrapper. Then I went down Hockley to the Asian Express store and asked an assistant there, but got a definite no, with a shaking of her head.
I made my way back to Nottingham’s Slab Square, down Victoria Street. A grim baron place at the best of times. Although they tell me it comes to life at night with the binge-alcoholics, druggies, and the dance-shakers out and about.
At the bottom of the road, I took a snap to the left, down along Bridlesmith Gate. Another so sad place. Since they closed down the Broad Marsh Shopping centre for the redevelopment of the mall, bus station and car parks, so many businesses have gone bust on this road. Sob!
The Helter-Skelter, still have to find anyone using. I’ll be surprised if they try coming back again next year. Well, I will be if I’m still here. Hehe!
I almost went for a wee-wee, until
I realised I didn’t need one. Hahaha! I got the purchases stored away, the pressies and nibbles too. The tomatoes were Spanish, so they went in the fridge. Which I would never normally do, but these are so
tasteless to start with, it won’t matter. I didn’t realise they were from Spain, or I would not have bothered getting them.
The usual afternoon weariness and fatigue arrived, later than usual for once. I got the handwashing done, wrung and hung. Nice phrase that! Haha!Â
I settled down in the £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working recliner. The one that my Xyrophobia-suffering, crooked Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-robbing, when I was in the Stroke Ward, and he fitted new CCTC cameras and searched for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet five-months later), rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty recliner. And masticated and swallowed everything edible on the plate, plus the evening medications! Taste-Rating: 8/10.

I went to the kitchen and moved some of last night’s handwashing about from hangers to airers.
up a bit at the thought.

Success Rating;
Flooded, drain not coping: 1
It took me over an hour to get the water to drain away, then the water closet failed to work when after I’d taken a wee-wee!
After a considerable about of blind-faith and guessing at it, it worked again! Smug-Mode-Assimilated!

The laughed when I told her. The blood was taken with no external bleeding.
Dropped off in Arnold, assisted off of the bus by a complete stranger, that was nice! Thanked him, and over the road to the Wilko Store.
Walking along High Street to the bus stop, it dawned on me. (I often get dawned-on, you know, Haha!) I’d just paid £4.39 for a 50p washing up liquid, a 49p bleach and the Germoloid cream? So how much was I robbed of for the ticketed as £1 cream! I was miffed about that! But I felt a right gullible fool at the same time. Humph!
Back at Winwood Heights, and got off of the bus last, another tenant offered to help me off the bus. Kind of him, but I wondered if I was looking over-pale or sickly today. Hehe!
From near the door, I took a photo of my beloved Woodthorpe Court. That lies somewhere between the twilight zone and a wormhole slipping through a tear in the fabric of space & the universal continuum, illusion, delusion, & hallucination! With its finger tearing metal window openings (Even a maintenance man, after being warned when he came to inspect the crumbling concrete or cement bits falling from the ceiling of the balcony, still trapped his finger in the clip, it bled, he swore… I remember it well). The only flat having an invasion of Boll-weevils! The new light & view-blocking new windows with their wide sticking out ledges, which have put an end to my being able to look down to see if a fire engine is in attendance or to take photographs straight down. The sink plug that needs unblocker put down it almost, no, every day! The water closet that (I’ve timed it!) takes 15 minutes to refill, and has cigarette burns all over it, inside and out from the previous tenants? The intercom that cannot be heard when anyone calls, not that this is crucial, cause half the time it doesn’t work anyway. The Fire Alarm that I cannot hear activating! The kindly supplied by Nottingham City Homes pillow-shaker fire alarm, that goes off more nights than not, but there is no fire. The heaters, that need a degree in engineering to manipulate…Â Oh, I am so sorry, I got carried away there!Â
I turned and took a rather natty-looking as it turned out, I think, snap of part of Winwood, and a distinguished-looking Winchester Court.
As got inside and popped into the Wardens Holding Cells. There were all three ILC’s all together, which is a rarity, so I took a picture of them and handed some nibbles out. Left to right, they are, Julie (Winchester Court), Deana (Woodthorpe Court), New Gal (Winwood Court?)
I got the three items purchased put away, leaving the Germoloid, the expensive Germoloids cream in the wet room.
beautiful sky, it appeared as if it was all warm out there. In reality, when I opened the window to take this photographicalisation on the right, I took it sharpishly, cause the cold coming in through the opening, almost made me jump! Low clouds, I wonder what that means? Rain? No, surely not.
I made a bit of a mess serving up the meal, but after smelling and seeing it, I left the cleaning up until later and got on and took the meal on the tray into the front room to feast on.
I cleaned up nocturnal-nibbling residue from around the recliner and decided to make a brew.

Had a good cleaning session and wash up after the evacuation.
As I was taking the mug of tea to the computer desk, I noticed the readings on the Nottingham City Homes supplied for free, monitor thingy, was showing out of sync a smidge. It indicates that the heat is getting too high – well I can’t feel it? Humidity is in just off the green markings on the rankings. It’s cold to me, and the fog may be having an effect on the moisture.
When it was done, I got the mushrooms in the crock-pot. Added some of the Puti vinegar and onion granules. I think I may have put in too much of these, though. Judging by how the picture looks in the dish? But, we’ll see later on when I taste one of them. A big day with cooking, I’ve got Josie’s to do first, and mine later on. I want to get the gals looking right.
I’ve just realised, I think the droning, whining noise from outside, is getting a bit less now? But, maybe with all the coughing and blowing of the nose, what bit of hearing I’ve got left has temporarily been made worse?
Did some updating on the diary, and went to check on the saucepan. All was okay.
I stripped off the clothes and got into the jammies. Shattered! I got the meal prepared, and served up. Into the rickety-recliner and ate the nosh while watching the England v Kosovo match.

for several minutes until things started moving of their own accord – then the pain level rose, but there was no controlling the action. Gritted my teeth, grimaced a bit, and finally a splash-causing ‘Kerplonk-Thunk’, and blessed relief! Phew! Then the cleansing and sanitising and medicating had to be done, off course. Bleeding from Little Ichies fungal lesion, and Harold’s Haemorrhoids! No matter how far I get behind with things today, nor how bad the weather will be, and having to struggle with two-hourly buses, I will have to get out today, and get some more Haemorrhoid cream! We’ll see?
The damned annoying whining, droning noise from outside seemed to be getting even louder now! I went to make another brew. And the imitation Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance was most involuntarily performed, and the Polyneuropathy caused me to drop the walking stick and mug of just made tea! It went over the floor and the tall brush & dustpan, so cleaned up and returned after making another mug of brew, to the computer to make a start on this post.
The ablutions went phenomenally well! One, I say One cut shaving, no damage doing the teggies, a few dropsies as is to be expected with the myasthenia gravis problem being so much worse this morning, no sock-glide injuries and just the one belting of the elbow on the door frame. (I’m getting a little too regular with doing this lately) Smug-Mode-Temprarilty-Adopted!
hope the food comes in time for me to get the L9 bus at 10:32hrs. If not, then so be it, I’ll stay in, or walk down to Sherwood just for the haemorrhoid cream.
Mostly Christmas treats for others. And nibbles for me, including seedless red grapes, savoury bites, chocolate nuts and crisps.
I made a brew of tea, took a picture on the view outside, and updated this post a bit.
I dropped off at the bottom of Hockley and went to the Asian Food store. It’s always best to go there first, cause their aisles are filled with goods and very narrow, I had to keep collapsing the trolley to get through to have a nosey around. Coming out with some crispy seaweed snacks, and what I went there for in the first place, a bottle of the delicious fire-brand strong tasty Marca Pina cooking vinegar. Very nice when added to mushroom, don’t you know.
I paid up, and out onto Upper Parliament Street, where I took this photograph, to the left along the road. Showing the street musician, who attends this spot every weekend it seems, not that it was producing much interest from the passing Nottinghamian shoplifters, yet.
As I turned into Long Row, the first signs of the Christmas Fayre appeared. The famous little helter-skelter, not exciting enough for kids nowadays, was not doing much in the way of trade again.
AT the bottom of King and Queen Streets, the Ice Mountian Slide was busy.
I poddled up Queen Street and onto Parliament Street, and took this picture of the sensibly well-wrapped up Nottinghamian’s going miserably about there Saturday ventures.

The meal turned out superbly. For me anyway, others might not have appreciated it as much as like-wot-I-did. For I had overcooked it a tad, but I caught it in time before anything got burnt, just extremely well done, which was perfect! A taste-rating of 9.2/10 was given! Yummy!

services blues and headlights added to the colourfulness.

Had a bash on WordPress Reader, then onto TFZer Facebooking. The door chime rang out, and the chap from the Physio team had arrived. I’d got it all mixed up in my bonce, I thought the Medicine Team lady was calling today? We went through some questions and answers and I started using the things left for me for physio. It was hard going, and the landline rang and flashed while I was doing the ups & downs. It was Sister Jane. She’d sent me an Email and was just telling me so. I had to ring-off, to get back to the times exercises.
I checked on what Jane had sent me:
Glad to hear that Pete didn’t pass on any radiation poisoning after his scan! And his not glowing in the dark is reassuring! He-He!
I decided against going out, I’ll try eating, and just settling down I reckon, watch somebody call at the door or ring me!
e mushrooms, and all but toppled over! Humph! Good job I was using the four-pronged stick. It suddenly went all dark outside!
With a great deal of care that was not commensurate with how I felt, I got the meal prepared and served up. Took the medications while eating. Per contra, not feeling too good in myself did not stop me from eating all of the noshes on the dish and tray.
The landline burst into hardly-hearable sound, but the red flashing light worked okay. It was my pulchritudinous, highly-desirable, heart-flutter-causing, beautiful angel of a Polish phlebotomy nurse on the line. Informing me that she is due to call on me, Monday, twixt 09:00 > 11:00hrs. The heart warmed at just hearing her voice! I thanked her and got the computer on straight away to put the appointment on the Google calendar. A few medical meetings are coming up.
I got the nosh things in the washing-up bowl and settled in the xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting, when I was in the Stroke Ward, and he fitted new CCTC cameras, and searched for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet six-months later), £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working, sometimes not, uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner. With my feet up on the chair, and cramps were attacking the legs and feet, something awful! The dizzies and other ailments were still with me, but they seemed less severe and bothersome for some reason? I reckon that my speaking on the phone with the Angel of Mercy and twinkling passionate eyes had had a good effect on me!

I took the bin in the wet room, sorted and refreshed it, then myself, and went to the kitchen. Where I was pleased with this photographicalisation on the left, that I took. I chose the Night-Landscape option on the choices dial. Rather a moody-outcome that pleased me somewhat. I saved it in 64-bit. Smug-Mode-Engaged!
I only took one Warfarin with the morning doses. Had a good swig of the cough Linctus.Â
mushroom fungi will sink or take any of the flavours in, I’ll find out tonight. When I add them with some Nutoory tomatoes, which I got ready for slicing later as well. I’m getting very experimentationalistical with food in my old age! I hope this seasoning doesn’t prompt any postprandial problems from the rear or front-end, with the roast vegetable risotto it’s all going into. Haha!
However, regardless of the bleeding and the poor state of the pins, this was not necessarily a bad thing. It took me out of the depression I was slowly falling into, by a strange sort of satisfaction, contentment, that the recent good luck I’d been having, was fading, and the acknowledged, accepted, accustomed state of perpetual-pain and discomfort had returned. I can take this condition, but me having luck and being fortunate is foreign to me. Thus, as I left the room, a smile crept over my face, and then tripped over the four-pronged walking stick. I had to laugh!
I decided to add some of the Natoora, South Korean (Large bank account needing) mushrooms to the normal Irish ones that were already marinating in the pan. A multi-cultural nosh in the offing today. Irish and South Korean mushrooms, cooking in a Hong Kong made saucepan, while the Berkshire Italian style baked roast vegetable risotto, with Taiwan rice cooks in the Spanish-made oven. Sicilian Tiger Plum tomatoes to be added. With Philippines Sukang Puti (Pinakamasarap) vinegar, and Chinese light Soy sauce. Oh, I do hope it turns out okay! I hope to be cooking some rice in the rice-cooker soon.
The ablutions went well. A few dropsies were all I had to put up with, well, a lot of dropsies really. Haha! However, no cut gums, no bleeding from shaving, Little Inchy nor Harold’s Haemorrhoids. The battle with the sock was painless (Almost!), and both sock fittings worked the first time, too! No lumps of finger trapped,Â
Got in the lift and down to the ground floor, and along the link-passage into the Winwood Court. Doing a bit of chesty-coughing en route. The tickle is back! I took a snap through the window, of the new unused as yet, al-fresco seating area. One day when the warm sun appears, I shall go out, sit on a bench, get the crossword book out, and fall asleep. Hopefully! Haha!
I got to the Winwood foyer and went up the lift to the rooftop lounge/rest area. As the elevator door opened, I was greeted by one of the Dulux dogs that someone had put on a coffee table. It looked so real for a second or two. Haha!
I wandered around and took a picture through the window, of the Woodthorpe Grange Park. By gum, the wind and rain were so vicious out there. The trees were bending and blowing in the vicious gusts of wind.
I opened the automatic push-pad doors and took a photo of Woodthorpe Court, while partially under-cover beneath the eave of the opening.
Then I made a snap of the new rooftop veranda, with the chained-down tables and chairs. This secured them from getting blown away in the high winds. It was not done to prevent people from nicking them! He-He! No wonder with this weather, that there was no one out there. But then, there has never been anyone out there on my visits, yet!
there were out there at the back of the court? Millions there must have been?
I took to his shot of the house opposite the flats that are being upgraded, new roof, an extension built etc. to show Brother-in-Law Pete. He was in the building game for a few years. Until he won the lottery and got left a fortune by an unknown relative, and retired when he turned forty. Don’t suppose I’ll get my money and valuables back now for a while.
Got the nosh served up, and it was a real delight to the taste-buds. Flavour-Rated at 8.8/10. Admitted it looked a right mess, but I ate it from the tray in the bowl-dish and saved a bit on washing up! Haha!

Â
off he went. I put away the stuff that was delivered, not a big job, and took a picture to send to Morrison’s of the goods I’d received. And went on the email to read the order snipped it, and put it on CorelDraw to put a line through the products that had to be taken back. This cost me a lot of time to get done, but I managed it.
It looked clear enough to me, at least.
I got on the computer and Google Mail. But could I find an address for the Morrisons Customer-Service? No! I found a direct link that would not let me add photographs, which I’d hoped would save me a lot of writing.
ff in Sherwood. Hehe!
having to be tackled getting around the store, it is a bit of hard work. However, my desire for their lemon wafers and biscuits gave me the will-power to try again. They had now started to display their fruit and veg outside on the pavement! And the food looked horrible. Withered and unappealing most of it looked. Especially some tomatoes on display, talk about macerated!
Paid the gal, and out and up Mansfield Road! Where I met Welsh William, who told me of another shop closing, a Charity outlet, sadly. So we went in to have a look for any bargains in their Clearance Sale prices. William had left, I nosied at the DVDs, in hopes of finding ‘The Negotiator’ film, but no. Still, at three for a pound, I bought these DVDs, even if I have seen them before (apart from Safe House), at that price.
stumble when the front wheel of the trolley hit gaps and sticking up bits of the paving slabs or slid on the leaves, causing Back-Pain-Brenda to join in with Arthur Itis giving out the pain. Tsk!
Paid the man, who was on his mobile throughout the time serving me, so I could not ask him if he was going to get any Puff Pastry fingers in stock, and I departed out into the oh, so cold sunshine. Still no rain, and the wind seemed to be dropping.
I got in the flat, and after a wee-wee, got the nosh sorted out and served up. I had the chicken sausages with a tin of chopped tomatoes and added some passata to it. An apple, a Pop-Kek lemon cake, and a lemon curd yoghourt to follow. I ate rather too much Milk Roll bread with it, though! But it was delicious, a flavour-rating of 7.5/10!
Got the computer on and sent an email to the Pharmacist. Turned off, and back to the recliner.
