I’m looking forward to next Wednesday, when I get t speak with the Doctor. These memory blanks are concerning me more than ever today.
Many moments and a long one with no memories at all of between what I worked out was 13:00 to 16:00hrs. I noted that I’d been working on yesterday’s blog but had not got very far with it, and what I’d done was error-filled and out of chronological sync. I corrected (I think) the grammar cock-ups, but left things as they were in the timing mistakes, for fear of drifting off again. I put messages in between to remind me as I did things. I just hope I’ve removed them all in Thursday’s much-belated blog. As I write this, around 19:00hrs, I seem more in control… but why? Not that I’m complaining, but I am certain things will go crazy again. I’ll try to remember to take the link with me to this blog cause I think if the Doc reads this, it may well prove more descriptive of my problems than my stuttering and memory-blank-ridden talking face-to-face would ever do? Losing track when talking to the carers does not matter so much cause they can do nothing to help anyway. Especially since the call times have been halved, they cannot have time to listen, even if they want to. Sorry, I’ve waffled on there.
A RIGHT COCK-UP WITH BAR was then committed. I misplaced for several hours. Started a search when I was up to it, so angry with myself! Gave up, thinking, I must have put or dropped it in the waste bag somehow, and it had been put down the chute!
Certain it had gone missing, a Mega-Depression took hold of me. was gifted to me when I broke the last camera. I so appreciated that gesture, too; now I felt worthless. The joy when I found it hours later and started taking some evening shots was incalculable!
Of course, this meant far fewer shots for the blog.
The period between realising and thinking after the search I’d lost it, was a terrible time.
Now, on with the scintillating, captivating, amusing, pragmatic, fascinating Inchy Today Blog. Hehe!.

I was woken when the Carer arrived at 07:10hrs. Not with it really, still so tired and sleepy. was an angel, she got the cream in the dodgy looking legs, the diabetic socks on for me, and all in a rush, she did a good job. The visit time being halved is making it all a rush nowadays. Can’t be helped, though. Thanked her and she took the rubbish bag with her on her departure. Such a nice gal.
Took another bag I’d made to the door.

The day bag soon filled up!

End car park, no mud at all this lunchtime.

Sun fighting through, temporarily.
Wonderful clouds.

Carer Chris called, not that I can remember that much about what happened. The computer work was going so slowly and mistake-ridden. Spent ages repeatedly searching for . Lost hours.

Found the camera!!!
I’d apparently dropped into a shoe near the computer? How, when or why?

I used it immediately to take some sunset shots. I was overjoyed at finding it and lost my guilt.

First, a wide shot.
Then a little closer.
Then another, but not happy with the quality...
Tried again…
Not happy with this.
Made a right mess this time. Seemed to get a shadow shot of the slit, and gave up!

TTFNski, Each!

Another in and out of it day. Emotions, feelings, confidence, and concentration goings from one extreme to the other constantly. I’ve got to go see the Doctor next Wednesday… hang on, I’ll check that on the calender…
Yes, on Wednesday at 08:45hrs. Carer Kara rang to arrange a lift for me with Easy-Link, I’m awaiting confirmation of if they can do it or not.
has been social today, I’ve had many visits from him. Conversely, and have been very kind, not one giving way episode today from either of them ♥.
As I mentioned, my concentration has been terrible. With , and the gums, both painful and it’s a good job the Cartilage Twins eased off.
Here we go with the photo reminders. Haha!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Looks like a sunburnt foot on the night pouch?

I became of multiple pains coming from  and . Along with both  & , as the Carer Arrived to wake me up at 07:15hrs.
Then, as he removed the socks that should have been done last night and put new ones on, we both noticed the shape and state of my legs. A photo was taken of them…
Swelling up had started again!.
had flared up as well.
Also, with Vanessa having a go, the white toe ends are more predominant now. Of course, it’s just pain. A man of my calibre, with a phenomenal in-built pain resistance, it did not bother me in the slightest; I’ll not even mention .

Medications were given to me.

Window Cleaner Joe arrived. I was just about to go to visit the . He soon got the windows done and was off like a shot; he was very busy. Managed to bore him a little while he was doing them within earshot. Hehehe!

But things were again slow to start, and the first dollop was like concrete, then Trotsky followed up… and kept coming and coming… Hahaha!

It took me a while to clean ‘things’ up.
It seems impossible, but this did happen. When I first got the used Depends off, and new ones on…
the pouch had all but filled up?
Beats me!

End car park shot with .

.
Got some spuds in the crock to add to the the remnants of yesterday’s stew. These were different spuds from yesterday, but they, too, had some blight! Threw some of them away. And more later when I cut them to reveal that had blight inside.

After Carer Kara departed, things were vague, to say the least. Thankfully I took photos to assist.
Not many of these made it into the stew. Plenty, most of them, went into the bin bag. Humph!
Must have taken this much earlier.

Ah, a mug of tea that didn’t get drunk (went cold) and a banana that was eaten (Skin seen in the bin).

I seemed to resume my awareness partially, as the pouch filled up again…
I was lucky this one didn’t burst!

Aha! The evening shot of the night lights.
Artistic, but not what I wanted. Hehe!

But the solid torpedo first routine made sure that bled a bit, then go soak in type splashes and spitting gunk that followed the original torpedos.

Mor spuds to throw away.
Served up the meal after Carer Chris had had a little bowl for a treat.

Went with the night pouch tube in hand to wash up the pots. Got sidetracked with the beautiful belated sunset.
Slowly got dimmer as I took each photo.
Bootiful!

on the trolley wheel, as I was putting the things into the drainer.
.
Didn’t half make me jump!
Ha-Ha!

Ode hue in the flat this morning?

In the kitchen, too?

Nocturnal Nibbling Guilt!

Had a go at the crossword.
That hue is there again?

I got some of the fresh Ada peeled potatoes and cut them up in my intended vegetable stew meal.
Threw most of them away, above is what they looked like inside when sliced…
The thumb this time!
About half of them were alright.

Morning view from the kitchen.

I returned to the main (other) room and wanted to take a photo of the day bag that had filled to the max. So quickly. Could I find what I’d done with ? No! I started a search worthy of Sherlock Holmes, I thought, but it seemed to have disappeared! Hello, grinding in the innards, off to the wet room for another try at an evacuation…
I had a rinse, got a fresh pyjama top and dressing gown on, and went back for another look for the camera. As I was going from one room to another, only three arrived anyway. I was just telling him of my losing the camera… and I remembered where it was… I’d had it with me for the 90-minute search in the pocket of the jammie top! Well, fancy that? Me forgetting something. He saw the funny side. He didn’t put the ankle or leggings straps on, as I’d hoped to get a shower. This didn’t happen, thanks to the blanks!

At long last, I made a start on the blogging…
As the food delivery arrived… That’s the Iceland order that I thought was for next Wednesday! Done it again! I need help, but the Carer can’t do much; the visit times have been halved from 30 to 15 minutes. No time to get everything done that’s needed. Had I needed the ankle & leg strapping put on, Shaq would have had to leave when the time Sean was out. So, no help with dressing or Phorpain gelling on Arthur Itis, Cartilage Chloe or Carole either. Can’t do owt about it, I’m afraid that’s how it is, so be it. Grumph! Back on with the blogging, they tell me I am a little blogger. Hehehe!.

The goods were put away. And what a struggle it was! I swore not to make another order for any food until after next week! Pee’d off with myself now!
Moroccan tomatoes, Eurgh!
Treats for the helpers.
Basics.
Food shoved in the fridge.
And freezer.

I took a shot from the balcony of the end car park.

Did the midday call. She struggled and had to go in case she overran on the schedule. She still made sure things were okay with me. She is off on holiday for a fortnight… that is well-earned, but it shattered my confidence. There’ll be no financial assistance/guidance for a while now. She’s bound to be missed by all of us, such a helpful treasure.

Well, it’s more like one dirty, great, long one. I’m unaware of when it started, but Carer Israel was ringing the chime and came in, and I didn’t know what was what? Don’t laugh or say why bother mentioning it. I’d not done any work on the blog… what was I doing? I may never know!

I perked up a bit and quickly took the BP of; he had to shoot off.

I got the sliced spuds out of the slow cooker and into the stewpan on the stove.
Then, I added some tomatoes and chunky vegetables to the mix, stirred it well, and turned off the heat. So that will be an easy-to-prep meal later.

Back for a third try...
If I don’t pass something soon, an explosion is likely! I hope not like… Haha!

Evening shot.
A terrible shot of the houses below.

A little harder this one.

Went to get the meal heated up, and…
Getting tummy ache now.
The stew might move it along.

The moon seemed very small tonight. I had to zoom in to get this shot… I took four; this is the only one of the moon looking recognisable.
Later, the moon was hidden altogether.

Worked on this blog until gone-midnight again.
(Finished in the morning).

Washing the pots is not easy when you have to lug the Nocturnal catheter bag around with you. I tend to put it down to do something needing both hands and forget about it. Walk away, the bag catches onto something, and the tube yanks in Little Inchie… Argh! Twice tonight! But at least the release valve wasn’t knocked open. I got sorted and thought I’d better get my head down for some much-needed sleep.
Hahaha! As if!

Cheers, everyone.

I think I found two, the one at the bottom of this blog and one on a sheep to the farmers, right? Carer found another this morning below the one at the bottom of the blog, under the farmer’s hand.

04:30hrs woke with the TV still on.
Removed the nocturnal catheter.
Made for the wet room without taking any view shots. It was important that I get the ablutions and dreading dressing done ASAP, just in case there were any of the usual events.

Got the shaving and washing done without too much bother. And started to get dressed… This took me over twice as long as it did to do the ablutions and the medicationalisationing! Pain, blood, bruise, bent the little picker-upper, tore the Protection pants, and had to start again. So, Normal-Status Adopted.

Nice red band on the right ankle.
Photo taken after creaming it.
A new spot was found on the left leg.
Slippers on. I couldn’t get the left leg one on, so asked Care Joanne to to put it on when she arrived.
Carer Joanne called. She is still having problems with her catheter, and I found it therapeutic to listen to other’s problems for once. We, as usual, found time for a bit of a laugh and joke. Within a minute of Joanne proffering her farewells, chimed from the door chime. It was Carer Maryham, doing the domestic call. She kindly got on with it while I took a sleep, in the knowledge that she would wake me in time for a final check that I’d collected everything needed, ready for the clinic visit, and catch the Easy Link bus. Which the gal did. I got the 3-wheeled walker, and Maryham walked me down to the ground floor, well, in the lift.

Hello, the old clock is back on the wall in the main lobby. I imagine the new clock had been stolen, along with my and other’s bags of laundry? Hehe!

It was drizzling out there, and the mud could be seen that had been walked into the building.
My favourite driver was outside waiting for me to be picked up, from Easy-Link. She got the money from my various pockets to pay for the lift and we were off.
Turning right down Winchester Street Hill.
Sneaked this ahoy en route… But dropped the camera, and I was firmly in the grip of the seat belt, and could not retrieve Kodak Tim, which settled between my legs… until we arrived at the Riverside.
I discovered that Dominic, was not there today, and it should have been last Monday that I could speak with him. Of course, these things could happen to anyone… but the odds were it would have to be me!

I decided to have a walk around Bulwell Market and the river until the lift came to fetch me in two hours… but first I had to ask where the toilets were to empty out, you know what…
Flipping dark! But it was easy enough to empty today, and hot water and soap to wash with. I hobbled out into the rain and walked to the Bulwell Market and the shops. This was an expensive trip out!
Not particularly busy, but with the rain?
Looking a little gloomy, too!
Called in the Heron store. Needed help with using the cash dispenser again, Tsk! Came out with a bag of fodder, and down to the B&M store.
Left with a bigger bag of purchases.
Then to the Poundland Store, got some Walkers Worcester sauce potato sticks for a pound, a pack of six and a giant bag of bird seed, and made my way across the road to the river and the pigeons waiting for me. And getting well-soaked at the same time!
They must have recognised me?
Bless, them…
Then a hobble back to the riverside, in the rain.
Getting murky again as I approached the building.
The lift was waiting in the car park for me. Took these below on the trip home to the empty flat. Hehe!
Exiting the car park.
En route.
Bestwood, I believe.
Top Valley?
Unknown.
Sherwood.
Back at the prison… I mean flats! I mused over three weeks ago when my laundry and new bag were never returned, along with a few other poor residents. The following week, I put it all in my new bag, and the laundry was returned… but in an old bag; I mentioned that it was my laundry but not my bag, and they took away the bag. Yesterday, three days after sending and paying for it to be washed, it came back damp.
We pulled up, And the gentleman said his farewells, and up to the cell… no, no… flat.
Emptied out the fodder from the bags.
And got on with making something to eat.
Had a go at the blog and finished it in a jiffy… well, maybe not. I got it finished nine hours later.

Checked on the cooking and saw that King Charlie is out of hospital but must recuperate for a week… Ha! This prompted me to write the News Snippet at third from the top for the blog. ‘Charlie is out of hospital’!

Midnight, and in need and ready for sleep… but it wasn’t to be granted.
Cheers!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

It is Monday, and I’ve just returned from the diabetic meeting in Riverside Bulwell. I finished early, so I spent more money on food as I called in three shops, fed the birds on the river Leen, got soaking wet, and am about to start this blog for Sunday… When, if I’ll ever gear Mondays done, I don’t know.
It’s a quickie for me.

Ode hue to some photos today?

Yellow creeping into the waste bags made up?

Topped up the treats box on the carer’s table. At least the colour came out right this time.

Morning kitchen view.
I don’t know how I took two?
But this blue hue was true!

Planned on beans & bacon. Trimmed of excess fat, and cut the bacon into little chunks.
Put them on a tray…
And into the fridge for later.

The sparse notes I’d written on the pad and could read told me that called, followed by many lines of indecipherable claptrap. Huh!
More meaningly scrawling, and many hours simply lost altogether, until Carer Richard arrived. He checked the medications drawer… then, I found ‘scqottied’ that I’d written that I spotted. No idea?

Evening shots.
As night fell.

Managed another mystery photo. It may be me in the reflection of the balcony windows? Humph!

I think I added some tomato passata and chunky veg sauce to it? Can’t give a score or recall eating it, even after seeing this picture. I ate a lot of bread with it, I think? Hehehe!

Vaguely recall Richard, I think, doing the last call.
No ankle or leg strappings were on when I woke up the next day. But then again, it makes sense that I must have asked him not to put them on, knowing that I intended to get up early and get the ablutions and day clothes on for the Clinic Visit.

The 3rd day of ups & downs, ins & outs.
Periods of positive and negative thoughts, moods, or interactions consistently. Just as the leaflet on FND symptoms quoted. A state of perplexity, then of bafflement, inattention, abstraction, and a new one to me, a sort of suspended animation. With moments of almost ecstasy, then back down to submitting to short, dank, dark depressions. It is now Saturday, midday. And this is as far as I’ve got with this blog!
So I’ll have to do a rushed job from here on.

Good colour.

Going to dish these and the other odd pairs that have been weeded on from the leaky catheter bags, valves or tumbles, Whoopsiedangleplops.

I can recall taking these shots. This first one got me in a bad mood as I failed again.
Tried again. Ah, not so bad.
Shame I couldn’t take a close-up.
Well, I did, but they were crap!

This sudden evacuation into the day bag was the first of eleven today. Humph!

Evening effort of the view.
Take within seconds of each one.

I was coming out of another sort of trance, and I saw the colour of the sky through the window. Grabbed Kodak Tim and hobbled to the kitchenette to get shots of the sunset before it disappeared.
Even in my state of mind at the time, I thought how beautiful the view was.
Peaceful, serene,
A magnificent scene,
Like part of a dream,
Not bad for an old sleeveen!
I’d better take another Codeine.

Talking about bad luck, I thought you might like this true Tale Of Woe, with Royal Connections, no less… What I went through, in about 1985, starts with a waffle about the new King and my jealousy but gets to the QMC farcical hospital Whoopsiedangleploppery.

You must be fed up hearing me waffle on about life gifted-to-me F.N.D., Cognitive Impairment Iris & Peripheral Neuropathy Pete… Well, me too!
Today was full of ups & downs mentally. I couldn’t believe that anyone could repeatedly change so often. At times, within minutes, then back to the opposite mood, euphoric, uncaring, not worried at times, and Mega-depressed, self-pitying at others (But not suicidal!). A roller-coaster of emotions. This went along with Memory Lapses, which are now just accepted.
Still, I got a great nosh made. Hehe!

06:20hrs: I woke but was not really interested in doing anything in a sort of instant depression.

By the time I’d got the detached from the day bag, I found myself whistling as I did the balance exercises; I noted the beauty of the sky & moon through the balcony windows & doors and went to take some photos. I had to divert to the wet room…
That was a waste of time!
I took a shot of the ‘Designer’, Inchy’s Peed, several times, washed, dried, and salvaged slippers. Hehe!
The usual medicationalisationing was done.

Hello, back on the Throne again…
I’d just decided to have a go at the crossword puzzle, expecting another false alarm…
A liquid torrent of the finest quality splurged out from the read end, splattering and rebounding up my bum and the porcelain! Yet, at this point, I just wasn’t bothered. I just finished cleaning and Germoloiding the rear end, the W.C., and the somehow escaped specs on the floor. Despite the minor that I  , I still felt… Well, up!

Then, as I was getting the fresh P.P.s on…
I was at the riskiest part of the operation, Standing on the worst right leg and trying to hole the P.P.s with the picker-upper to force the left leg into the allotted hole, and gave way on me. I quickly dropped the picker-upper, which fell, landing on me, and I twisted my back while grabbing the sink to avoid going over in a tumble… This did not work! I went down so fast that my hand was still clutching the side of the sink when I collided with the wet room floor! Which I reckon may have saved me from a worse outcome.
I struggled to get back up, using the to do so. Once up, I tried to get some pain gel on the affected lower back area. but it was too painful to reach where the worst pain was.
MedPhorpainI’ll ask the Carer to do me later. I struggled so painfully, but I eventually got the P.P.s on.

Arriving at the optimum time. Chris gave my back a good rubbing of Phorpain gel. We discarded the Paracetamols, and I later took an extra Codeine, which, along with the gel, did ease the agony of the back. I thought I was going to have to see the medics about it, but it got far less painful as the day progressed. Just as well, I’m a pain-bearing, heroic sort. Ahem!

I washed and got some Anya potatoes in the crock pot for later in a stew I’m planning.
This little gem of a mini potato, I had to photograph. Remember that amongst my many blog followers, there are pareidoliarists (Well, they both are!)
Can you see objects in the spud?
I see a tank, a face with that on, and a duck. Please let me know if I missed any you can see.

Still a little murky out there, but not cold.

I thought it was never going to stop!

The front car park is on Chestnut Way.

Emptied .
I got stew ingredients in the saucepan with potatoes to add later. Additions: chunky tomatoes & vegetable cooking sauce, garden peas, vegetable stock, liquid sea salt, and courgettes. I hadn’t heated it yet; I just stirred the mixture occasionally, cut up the cooking bacon, and got it in the oven.
Got the potatoes added.

Started blogging.
I drifted out of it, I think, for about three hours.
I’d done work on CorelDraw and made a start on the blog template… It took me four more hours to correct what I’d done wrong or missed, Humph!

Went to check on the bacon in the oven and took these.

I got the well-burnt bacon from the oven.
Had a struggle to detach the lumps from the oven tray. I bent the food slices and used a metal one to get them all off the tray. As for the tray, it was doomed to the waste bag. R.I.P.

The pouch was a great colour… well, it looks it in this photo. But I’m sure it was a lot darker in reality…
Then again, logicality & and I disagree about what this is.

It was worth all the efforts to make. This little feast tasted Grreat!

Easy-Peazy! Haha!.

Cheers, each!

Another busy day. But, not not in a wrong way. The pleasure of Vampire Nurse Hristina coming to take my blood for the Warfarin INR checks. Another of my Angels. So sweet & patient, too, and the best bloodtaker I know. Very rarely have bled after she does me! ♥ called for her financial help visit. She ordered a lift for me following Monday, to the Diabetes Clinic in Bulwell. We were too early to book the doctor’s visit in February, but Kara will remind me nearer the time. ♥ She also pointed out how to use the TV remote again; I’m just not taking anything new in, nowadays… well, not keeping it in, anyway. She then made up the meal at the chair table for me – What a gal! She took the laundry down with her for me as she left. She’ll replace the catheter pouch in the morning.

I rose gingerly and felt so cold, as 05:40hrs. Removed the slightly dark urine bag and emptied it. I had a bit of a struggle to get the link tube out, but I got there without any .

Maddeningly Mangled Morning Moon Images

The last one was a smidge betterer!

Signs of a guilt-promoting nature in the bin!

Made a mug of Glengettie tea.
I planned to drink it while blogging. But…
Was interrupted by the need for a rear-end evacuation. And what a messy one, it was!
Had a wash and got the tended to. Then I got daily as and if needed ones attended to. A lot of them were needed.
I ran out of the dry-eye spray, but I’ve a little left of the dry-eye drops. Must get some more.

I had a search around in case I might have left a bottle of the eye spray with the medical supplies in or near the Steptoe & Son rubbish room.
I’d not, Humph!

The laundry had not been returned yet. I’ll ask the Carer if they know where it is… as long as it’s not been stolen again, I’ll be content with that. Tsk!

A telephone call from the surgery confirmed the February Medicine Assessment appointment. Also, the change in the Warfarin doses, & the need to keep to them strictly. As the level is up and down, they want to know why.

I ordered some slippers from Amazon to stop people laughing at me when they called. Hahaha!
They should be here tomorrow, about 22:00hrs. The chances of me hearing the intercom or being awake at that time are questionable, to say the least.

I found these photos of the morning shots that I had unaccountably missed earlier. Well, I say unaccountably, of course, the guilt will be shared twit,  , and .
With the wind blowing hard, I took these through the kitchenette window glass. The misshaped moon and reflection of whatever it was gave it an airiness?
The wide shot of the houses qualified as terrible and artistic, I think? Hehe! It brought back to mind an arcade and Atari computer game of the 1970s. I can’t recall the name. Is there something about space?

The potato was selected to be used for the cheesy baked potato nosh.
Got the mega-spud in the oven. Getting the ingredients together and the catheter day pouch emptied.
Hours later, when the potato was nearly done, I got the knife and cutlery ready to cut the spud in half and mash it up with some Leicester Cheese, sea salt, black pepper and a knob of Flora no-butter butter…
Getting the sharp knife, I, once again, knocked the box off of the shelf… Double-Humph! One of the cheaper knife blades broke into two, another the tip snapped off, not be seen again… (I anticipate finding it, or instead treading on it with no shoes on, later)
Emptied the flesh into the mixing bowl.
And gave the contents a food mashing up.
I put a plaster on the cut fingernail afterwards.

Carer Chris called… or was it Carer Israel?

Finally, I got the nosh served up.
I rinsed, put the pots in the sink, and took the meal to the front room. I very nearly had an . Luckily, I often do this; I was unsure if I’d left the tap running, so I went back to the kitchen to check… and I had! The plaster had come off of the finger and blocked the sink plug hole! The sink had filled virtually to the highest point. So I dived, moved the bowl, and yanked out the plaster. Saving the day and water-alert alarm going off! What a Hero!
I ran the three scalded fingers under the cold tap and applied some Germolene. The finger had stopped bleeding, so it needed no attention.
Back to the meal… eating it from the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner, using the Carer Kara sorted out for me collapsible table.
The cheesy potatoes were fantastic!
The burgers were horrible.
The wheatmeal rolls were okay.
The HP fruity sauce… Eurgh!

Going darker again.

Evening all!

They might have said Schoolboy’s Face!

– – – I got one! – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

05:45hrs: I tackled the removal of the stubborn attachment on the nocturnal and day bag and got it done by 06:00hrs. Hehehe!

It was damned cold this morning! Mind you, I’d not got the ankle & leg straps on yet.
Took the first shot from the kitchenette window, and I knocked a bottle of Lloyds Tomato & Basil sauce off of the window ledge. It landed on my right foot. I may have cursed a bit? On the plus side, it didn’t break, missed my , and it was the only item that I dislodged. I disrobed and went off to the wet room. It was too early to use the noisy shower to get a stand-up wash and shave. I got the dressing gown in the laundry bag; it was well full now. I collected a pair of protection pants to change into later, and as I did so, I decided it best to check on the computer first to make sure that the Iceland order was not going to arrive while I was doing my ablutions. A rare moment of temporary mental clarity and memory activity there! Smug-Mode engaged temporarily!
The session went well… Yes, that’s what I said! Only two weeny cuts shaving, mind you; there’s always something, and the gums gave me the only bother I had. Even getting the PPs on went almost easily. Great!

Confusion Reigns…
I knew I’d got an hour and a bit before the earliest possible time for the Iceland delivery. So I was about to try to get the sink cleaned; I’ll get it done one day... And . Well, Iceland was well early? Within minutes of pressing the unlock button, a rattling came on the door from the food deliveryman. It did not register with me when he said do you want it in the kitchen, I said please, and adjusted my now rather loose dressing gown, and adjusted the day pouch that was slipping… and he’d put the stuff all over the kitchen, loose… this was when I realised it was not the Iceland man at all! He was from J Sainsbury, with whom I had a mess on last week’s order on Friday, delivering the order I’d made for next Tuesday, not today! He shot off, and I went into a semi-panic mode. I’ve got all this stuff to get in the fridge and freezer, but I knew it would fit in… and the Iceland order was also due shortly!
It was hard work, but some fodder had to get ditched from the fridge to make room for the new stuff. I ended up taking a carrier bag full of short-dated stuff to the waste chute and ditching it. Then started rearranging things to use less room on the shelves and freezer, suddenly realising I had all the JS stuff to sort yet…
These were sorted…
Then these…
I hope I can get the soda bread in.
Great news here, though. The terrible foul-looking meat in a jar that tasted heavenly was delivered, Yummy!
More sorting…
I got some of the Anya potatoes into the slow cooker for later with the mushroom risotto.
Took this shot of the blue-looking view. It wasn’t this blue; I can’t understand why it came out like this. If I remember, I’ll ask Tim from New Mexico later on.

Carer Marie, with a new carer with her, Sanamal and showing her the ropes. Marie is an angel; she said she would get me a pair of slippers from Primark when she goes to town again. ♥ Bless her!

Then, the Iceland delivery arrived.
I had to empty the day bag as the chap took the bags to the kitchen for me.
Thankfully, not a lot of frozen stuff.
Some sauce was substituted, but I gave that and the bread I could not get in the freezer to Carer Kara later; she can hand them out to whoever she thinks.
I had a heck of a job getting the fresh stuff into the fridge. I’d bought treats for the carers.
Just look at the choc-o-block fridge now!
Still, I’ll not starve. Haha!

I took this shot and got on with the blogging. For hours, and hours… it’s been seven up to now.

Teatimish, I took a couple of more…
Through the glass of the balcony.
The one above showed rejectionist patterns in the rain. Har-Har! How did it get a copy of the cars not in the shot, in amongst the trees and bushes? They look like ghostly cars.

Carer Christopher came, taking the wee-wee out of my peed-on several times and washing designer slippers. Haha! He dished out the medications, and as we chatted, I told him about my not being able to get at the hairs growing on my neck to shave them. We went into the wet room, and he dry-shaved my neck for me… I’m sure the bleeding will stop eventually. (Only joking!)

Back to the blogging.
The blue sky returns.

Carer Christopher arrived on his last visit. I was just getting my dinner out of the oven and plated. He took it to the front room for me, and I forgot to photograph it. Mushroom Risotto with some Anya potatoes.
Nothing like as delicious as the mushroom Risotto Sister Jane did for me in 1989. That was so good, I can still remember the taste of it! But it was a processed meal, so I couldn’t expect too much.

Zzz! But not for long…
soon kicked off. He was vehement tonight, waking me up many times, & starting again within minutes each time I nodded again.

Early Hours – Up Late Again

Making the late… or early morning meal, I dropped a saucepan on the kitchen floor. It took me ages to clean up the mess that I made. Accompanied by a few select curse words and name-calling to myself.

Cor, the urine bag had filled up sharpish again; It’s been doing that the day or so now.

I got my cooking hat on. Hehehe! Taking care of not having another ‘dropsies’, I added some potatoes to the veg mix, come stew. Added a jar of chunky tomato-vegetable sauce, some peas, and butter beans to the pan. Putting the last of the roast mini potatoes in as well. Stirring and tasting all the time.
Grrreat!
By gum, I enjoyed that!
Washed the pots.

I retired to the £300 second-hand shop bought in 1966. moth-eaten, bedraggled, grotty, cringingly-beige-coloured, much-dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner… get my head down.
That was another farce. He was in good form. He really peed me off!
I got about three hours kip but woke up needing to use the Porcelain Throne.
Two extremes at the same time?

As I removed the night pouch, the urine was dark enough to concern me.

My first view shot of the day.

By the time I’d taken it, the day pouch was pretty filled again, so quickly? But a slightly better colour.

Took a second snap.

Arrived. We had a chat and laughed as the medications and jokes were shared. I took her BP before she left, and it’s all looking good!

I must try to get more slippers… maybe a few pairs if I can find some on sale at a reasonable price. Cause as sure as the Rishi’s Tories are condemned to lose the next election, go into near extinction, as they wait for the Labour masqueraders to financially cripple the nation, Legalise grass, and Nationalise the railways; I’m bound to have another escapade of fluid from the , via a burst, a leak, a strap coming undone again, or perhaps another messy  . I think I’m averaging one unanticipated   a week this month. Tumbles, faulty valves and walking into a door frame were the last three main reasons.

The next pouch emptying session, and there were so many today, was it back to dark again?

A sticky, gooey edge! Hahaha!

One of my worst ones ever.
I read on my notes that the Carer called, yet I have no recollection of the call or who it was either?
As I regained a degree of logicalness and awareness, I saw that I’d been working on CorelDraw and this blog. I found many errors in both, but I must have missed many more.

Over the next hours or so, the day pouch was emptied so many times that it seems I took photos of each one; they were on the SD card in this order;
They started (apparently) a good colour but grew grimmer at emptying time.
Fed up with this!

The clouds could be seen in the dark. The high winds maintained a presence for some time. Aircraft had been grounded – I’m not surprised at the speed at which the clouds were being driven across the night sky. It’s a wonder that they didn’t leave a contrail. Hehe!

Came & went for the rest of the night. Sort of mini-blanks.

I can easily recall taking this shot.
I think my cyber-mate, Tim, would call this photo artistic, that’s not the word, but I can’t recall it now. Ten seconds ago, it was all in my mind, ready to type it, and it went AWOL. I can only pass on any praise to, supported by sweet .

.
Just Bootiful! Thanks, Jane & Pete!

Another Mystery?

CK was unwilling to come forth, then, as he did, TT controlled the watery, almost splashing out into the Porcelain, stinky finale.

The last leftover vegetable stew was doctored with more borlotti beans and chunky vegetables.

Have a Magnificent Martian Meeting on Monday!
In May 1959, Mandell Meggendorfer, predicted Monday’s date as the day the aliens will arrive, and openly reveal all to the earths masses. It’s too late to bet now, but apparently, one German bookie was offering odds of 1 million to 1 that this would happen.
Just thought I’d mention it!
