A comforting thought, with me awaiting a 2nd Cataract and a Glaucoma operation. Cartilage procedures on both knees. DVT operations and a possible, I hope, permanent Catheter being fitted. Still, I may be arguing with St Peter before they get around to doing me. Hehe!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
A baffling wave of mysterious (to me) messages since the update came in. CorelDraws unfathomable changes made in the new CorelDraw 2024. Peripheral Pete’s Neurotransmitters made it beyond my limitations to use the colour swatches, so I had a mammoth job having to make them larger, and now I have a much smaller working area for creating things. No choice, though, had to be done, or I’d have had to stop doing my blog. The grip on the mouse is precarious and oh, so shaky. The PN’s lack of sensation when typing, is really hauling me!
You wouldn’t believe how frustrating this all is. However, that’s how it is. Nothing can be done about Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters dying. It can only get worse. I’ll keep going to satisfy my swarm of followers as long as I can, but the content is taking me so long that I’m not getting anything else done. I hope they both understand. Hehe!
Norton is confused about my losing the password. Amazon’s delivery of a cheap camera was delayed. Until then, I’ll use the Kodak Tim Camera with its blotches.
Cartilages Chloe and Carole have given way today. I only went down once, though. Chloe gave way as I was getting fresh PPs on in the wet room. Naturally, I fell on Chloe’s knee, which didn’t help much. I also hit my nose on the grab bar on the way down. Just an ordinary day, really.
Carer’s Christopher, Kara and Kimberley attended.

Way too dark!

Murky morning view.

The first picture came out wrong?

Same view later on, misty still.
A two-tea-bag brew of Glengettie.
Accidentally!

JS order.

Some good grub here!
Fridge full!

I spent so much time getting confused by WordPress and CorelDraw changes, but I did take some photos of the now persistent rain falling, throughout the day.
Took a Kodak Tim to snap through the window, on the balcony, of course, of the end car park and the mudslide.
Several shots from the kitchen window and the balcony through the afternoon.
I had to keep taking breaks from blogging as the problems were getting to me. I hate it when I can’t type or manipulate the mouse well, but as the nurse said to me, I will have to get used to it now.
The rain just kept coming. Not too heavily, but I did note that a resident and ambulance transport crew got wet as they returned from the hospital, poor things.

Have I made a cock-up, and put the same picture as the top one of the car park on here for you again? Sorry! Ah, no. I see now an extra car, and the mudslide seems a little more widespread. I wonder if, eventually, all that sinking rainwater going underground may loosen the flats’ foundations.

I found them, but it took a little longer.

This morning, I could not find this photo from yesterday; I thought it had gone AWOL into the ether. But here it is. Baffles me, but that’s not unusual.

The early morning I wrote about this morning on yesterday’s blog.
Morning view. Later than usual, of course. I was still in bed when Carer Chris arrived.

I know where it went. Hehe!

Got the computer on, and went into a Mind-Blank stroke . I was already miles behind on the blog as it was, and now I had lost over an hour.
But I do recall struggling with the couple vision and being nervous about hitting any wrong combinations on the keyboards and not knowing which I’d hit wrongly to correct any errors. I did, of course. This cost me another half-hour!

Carer Joanne came. I thought of asking her how she felt about one of her dogs, which she had to put down yesterday. But I thought better of it.

The day bag had filled quickly again.

I went to the kitchen to get some potatoes in the slow cooker and took these two shots of the view.

I tried to get the Asda (Walmart) bag and label in the shot. They were called Asda Extra Special. Likely Special because some of them were in an especially terrible condition. See above! But, they did give me a moment of pareidoliaing, and I spotted features of a face and bald head on the skin of the spud. Can you see the lips, eyes and an ear in the picture?

The vagueness in my head and eyesight problems were confounded by the fact that each time I had to stand and walk, both of the Cartilages seemed to be taking turns giving way.

Still, it comes!

The Iceland Deliver Arrived.
Got the nibble box topped up.
This one contained porridge, salt and vinegar nibbles, disposable razors, and bleach, as far as I can tell.
Pork pies, beef pasties, Mediterranean vegetables, Eurgh-flavourless Moroccan tomatoes,& baguettes.

Turning a little lighter at last as the afternoon went on. Wonderful clouds.

Got the dressing gown to change into later.

This great shot was taken to the left of the kitchenette window.
This one is to the right.

Carer Victor arrived. Medications sorted.

I was not entirely with it but pressed on with a mistake-making blast at the blog.

A later shot with the sun fighting to stay out.

Got some nosh sorted.

A LONG DAY…
Up at 05:15hrs, doing this at (now) 23:55hrs!
Friday started reasonably well and ended up 18 hours later with the fire alarm alerting. The potatoes burnt, and cleaning up the mess took me three hours. Burnt finger, dropped the second saucepan on my legs and dressing gown… I’d sooner not mention this again. I may have to start looking for somewhere else to live.
I’d got the intro bit done but little else. I started on it Saturday morning. I’m in the new bed at approximately 04:30 hrs, and I have cramps in both legs. The right eye is so painful, and the vision in both is terrible… I’d sooner not mention this again. I may have to start looking for somewhere else to live.
I woke when Carer Chris arrived.
I’d sooner not mention this again. I may have to start looking for somewhere else to live.
Getting out of bed in the morning was a struggle and a half. Carer Chris aided me. Got up on the sticks, & joined in the pain-giving antics of the other ailments that had been attacking for the previous four hours of sleep… I’d sooner not mention this again. I may have to start looking for somewhere else to live.
This will be a short one, but at least I took some photos; some I recall taking, others not. Oh, and I forgot to ask the Carer to take off my diabetic socks for me, and also, the Catheter Night Bag was not attached. The lad was trying to let me get back to sleep, I think, bless him. He did mention how poorly I looked, which was a rarity. As a man living a fit & healthy lifestyle and at a young age, I am usually a bundle of joy & happiness, laughing, joking, giving, and forever yodelling and singing…

Of, dearie me, the ablutions went hellish this morning… But not the

Bad picture of the better ankles

Morning view.

Through the balcony windows.

Afternoon views.

A few hours later. Bootiful!

I worked all day on blogging and still hadn’t caught up. I was well gone by 03:00 hrs before giving it up. That was when the smell of burning was detected, followed shortly by the fire alarm. I think the timing is right.

This is possibly my worst-ever attempt to take a shot of the moon high in the sky! Four failures, but they did have an element of modern art. Is it suitable for the Tate Gallery? Perhaps, maybe?

Huh!. I missed this shot taken earlier.

I got it within 2 seconds… when I looked at the revealed answer. Hehehe!

The burnt potatoes from the large saucepan.
The mess where things had boiled over.
I got some not-so-bad potatoes with almost dried-out vegetables. Washed up and had the Accifauxpas mentioned above!
I’d sooner not mention this again. I may have to start looking for somewhere else to live.

It took me ages to get to sleep again after the last Carer call for Christopher. When I did float off, I kept waking up repeatedly. Cragnangles!
But last night’s coughing, sore throat and sneezing had disappeared. Thankfully.
I pottered about and got the waste bags sorted for collection.
Again, the evacuation seemed as solid as a rock.
I didn’t even try to force it; I left it to nature and counted the cracks in the ceiling. Still no motion. So, I got on the crossword puzzling book. I was getting brave, but the expected anticipated torpedo needed some encouragement. Which hurt a bit, but things flowed.

Red ski in the morning, Shepherds Warning?

I trapped my finger in the cupboard door, pulled my hand away, and knocked over the kitchen towel and its holder. I spent an hour or so trying to get it glued back together. If I’m gentle with it from now on, it might last for a while.
Back to the wet room and deposited myself on the Throne.
The relief of the last visit a short while ago was forgotten about. had returned with a vengeance! Tsk!
As I left the room, taking care not to walk into the doorframe this time, chimed and in walked .

A, or maybe it may have been a; I can’t recall Shaquille leaving, yet a glimmer of me in the hallway saying cheers lingers at the back of my mind. So, maybe I can after all.

called on me. I remember all of this visit… I think. Kara booked the two hospital lifts for me. Ah, maybe I can’t recall all of it! I seem to believe that Kara rang the Doctors for me, but I have no idea why and am not sure she did. Things are not good in the head’s hard drive today, not that they have been for many months. Kara also checked the two emails and text I was struggling with.
Checked the dates on the food in the fridge for me; that’s a great help. Sometimes Kara finds out-of-date items that, with my failing eyesight, I cannot read, the print is too small, and her cotton socks. ♥.
I shot ominously dark clouds, which could be seen again, as last week, lurking about up in the sky.
I missed this Kodak Tim shot earlier. Or did I? I’ll have a look now. Yes, I missed it off. It’s a pleasant-looking view of local homes near the flats. Three murder spots have been in view this year already. Two muggings were on the cut-through between the houses. I had no idea what happened last night, but I saw the blue flashings from the police cars and ambulance. It’s all clear this morning, though. I’ll keep an eye on the news to get some snippets.
Time to get some food down me now.
I’ll need to pay close attention to this meal. It has the same base as yesterday’s. The vegetables bake for 25 minutes. Then, I must add the vegetarian sausages 15 minutes later, no, 10 minutes later. When the 20  minutes were up, I put the root-vegetable potatoes in the microwave for five minutes, as if I knew what I was talking about!
I really cocked it up in the morning. I was checking the SD card and thought what a great job I’d done taking a picture of the second vegetarian meal in two days, effort. Minutes later, I got the car in the slot… but the snap of the meal had done a runner! Or, conversely, I may have hit the delete button by mistake. This now seems more likely, as Peripheral Neuropathy, making the fingers numb to touch, is getting more frequent and lasting longer. (Mind you, it comes in handy when one burns a finger or hand on the oven; one doesn’t feel the pain! Until I smell the burning and take a look – then the brain gets the message from the warped eyes, and I do feel the belated pain. I’ve noticed this. Mistakes on the keyboard have got me into many a pickle this last week. Well, this week, as well!

TTFNski!

All-over-the-placidness, lack of concentration, and mind wandering off more than staying with me were similar to yesterday. Rampant! I have lost the notepad with the reminders of the day’s events.
There is much the sameness, I suppose. Thank heavens I got the above selection sorted early because I could not have done it in the state I was in later on.
Things may or may not improve mentally or physically, but ‘It ain’t necessarily so!’
So, this will be short on detailed info, as the seizures and mind-blanks started later on. Sorry.

04:00hrs: The brain stuttered awake… well, mostly. How I got the glow onto this snap, I don’t know!

Veering towards the Trotsky Terence level.
The feet & tootsies looked better.
The medicationalisationings followed.
MedPhorpainThe shaving went well; there were only a few minor nicks. No bother.

Got in a tangle with the .

I went to the kitchen and enjoyed taking these snaps of these morning views.
The last one turned involuntarily into a work of art, or I was interfered with . Hehe! Does it look like a radar photo of an airport and city?

I got the computer on and started updating and getting photos onto CorelDraw and WordPress.

Another oddly-hued photo?

Contrails in the beautiful sky.

Taking an automated wee-wee. Hahaha!

Clouds to the left.
Clouds to the right (Of the kitchen window)

I got further muddled and had to make many amendments and corrections. Then, as if by magic, I found myself in the spare room, apparently searching for something. I didn’t find out what I was looking for, but I had a scout around in case I saw whatever it was, and it triggered the brain into action. It didn’t.

Later, when I went to investigate what to have for the daily meal, I had this wonderful view to photograph. This one is rather special. Gorgeous!

It could be Putin in heaven, I thought.
But plenty of others to pick from. Hehe!

A lot of blanks today.

But I did get the nosh pepped, cooked & photographed.

I’m thinking of writing a blog about “How to Get Nothing Done, but find it needs amending or correcting, then run out of time doing it!” Yes, I reached a new low or high today in brain-befuddledness. Overlooking the obvious, missing the intentions or inclinations of my own tormented mind. I’ve never been so busy getting nothing done… well, done satisfactorily, or to a semi-acceptably state, competently, effectively. But conditionally.

My senses and intentions are in remission.

02:30hrs: Better shade.

High morning sky.
Lower down.
Wonky, wobbly view.

First…

AARGH! .
I’ve done it again!
I left the Dang tap (faucet) running last night. There is no hot water for a shower or shave. Spit and grumps!

I put the kettle on and had to return to the Throne!
It gets better! Hehe!

Made a brew of Glengettie. Of course, I started writing a blog post and forgot all about tea. Huh!

A third visit to the bog!
porc tttWhere’s it coming from?

Carer Chris (took the laundry down) and then Carer Kara called. Both were in a rush, up to the neck in it, methinks. Kara looked at the whiteboard and checked the Catheter for me.

MIND BLANK or SEIZURE
A whopper, too!
When I came around, it was obvious that I had been working on the computer. To my amazement, I’d posted the Wednesday Post off; I hope I finished it first. The scribbled notes I’d scrawled meant nothing to me. I was aware of things because I went to check the cooker and taps. The taps were off, the kettle was cold, and no hobs or ovens were left on. At this moment, I looked out at the view from the balcony window.

My eyesight was worse than ever at long distances today. Every house seemed to have two roofs, and they were both moving independently of each other, according to my Glaucoma’s eyes, anyway.

The day bag dropped down the leg, so I must have been drinking well enough while half out of it?

I did notice the nibble box had been well-raided. Haha!.
Well, that’s what it’s there for.

I realised I’d not sent the blog email notification, so I did.
For an unknown reason, Googlemail would not let me import any pictures (and still didn’t on Friday?). Luckily, they went in when I copied and pasted, which made the job messy and protracted.

Can you believe this?.
And was bleeding.
I seemed and cleaned things up. After being up so early, when I returned to the computer, I decided not to continue. Then I realised that the evening carer, Chris, must have been. Could I recall it? Nope! I checked the log book, and he had been.

Despite having been up for about 21 hours, and there must be chunks of the day went off into the ether, I didn’t feel too tired, physically; then again, I’ve not nowt physical, have I?

Time to get summat to eat.
Garden peas, potato cakes and caramelised little pork sausages. These were eaten with bits of the baguette wrapped around each one and dipped in the new Heinz tomato ketchup with pickle!

Got the bed ready to receive the mini-elephantine body and decided to have a bag of chip sticks to round off the meal. I checked the taps and heating and got down in the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300, ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner, to eat the treats.
Zzz!

Throughout the next three hours, I did not move from the recliner; I just spent the time getting oh-so-regular. I gave up and got up at 04:00 hrs. I decided to finish the stand-up ablutions. It was far too early to use the shower, and the noise would wake up the tenants living below. I’m coughing and sneezing a bit now. Tsk!

Cheers!

My mood today was, erm… how do I explain it without repeating myself? Nothing went right, yet nothing went disastrously. I was already so far behind with everything, at the time I seemed to have a ‘Sod-It’ temperament. Which slowly, as the day went on, transformed into one of self-pity, self-cussing and a search for some intoxicant, to calm myself down.
Had I known what awaited me on Monday morning, (it is now Monday evening, and I’m just starting the blog for Sunday!) I may have considered suicide, if I wasn’t such a coward, it was that bad this morning… But I digress; I do that a lot, you know!) I’ll have to put less in and try to make time to catch up. I considered doing just a cartoon, a quiz, an ode, and local news on, and any photos I take? Here be the photos, a lot has been missed of (I hear a sigh of relief? Haha!)

Not a good start!

Morning kitchen view.

Off to the wet room…
ARGH!
Ablutions tackled.
The legs and feet looked better now. But both cartilage and backs of the knees were worse. Got the medicationing done. Two shaving cuts, a stubbed toe and a heck of a job getting the PPs on.

Computer on, CorelDraw for graphics.

On the third day of pouch emptying, I tried to photograph. It looked like semolina as the bubbles rose to the top. Hahaha!

Took an afternoon shot of the clouds.
As I took the first one, a crow flew into view.
By the time I adjusted Kodak Tim to get a close-up, he or she was long gone. Tsk!
The sun’s setting was earlier than ever tonight.

Yum, Yum!

Evening views.

I stirred and lay there, working out if I was still alive or dreaming. I decided I must be alive when I moved in the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibblings, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300, twelve years ago from the charity shop, recliner; and knocked the bottle of soda water off of the chair arm, and my glasses fell off of my head. Went to the kitchen to wash the mug from last night. By chiming out, and in walked  at 07:15hrs. No needed.
I took off the    Then off to the wet room.

A two-tone evacuation again this time. It took Mr ages to get the thing started, and after a couple of loud plonks in the water that sounded like bricks falling, the stinking flood of semi-liquid content flowed!
The cleaning up, medicationalising of poor , olive oiling the earholes, and painfully  , and
knees, I set about cleaning up my rear end, and I think the initial tending to the bum took over half a toilet roll; things were wet and so sticky! Not to mention phooey!
I got the alert bands back on. The Dementia and FND ones, I couldn’t find anywhere?
Had to mop up a few splashes on the floor. The cleaning up alone likely cost me half an hour, with washing out the mop afterwards.
I ventured from the wet room and back into the kitchen. :
Much anger… self-disgust & hatred spewed forth… and I was slightly annoyed with myself. I’d left the flaming hot water tap running again! Grrr!
The view from the kitchen window mirrored how I felt at that moment. So I got and took this photograph on the left of the view on offer.
As I turned from closing the window, I on the bottom of the radiator. I was getting more and more hot under the collar now! What next, I thought?
Started updating yesterday’s blog.
I wasn’t getting on with it too well, mind you. Word thoughts of using seconds before were off into the ether by the time I’d written the intro. Grammar glitches: I was not feeling up to much, as each time I stood up, either gave way or else  would nearly have me over. She may well get me later on, though; they have been very persistent today!

Called while I was in a state of depression. But we both have similar t things affecting us, and we chatted while she did the medicationing, and I think we cheered each other up a smidgeon. The weather seemed to be getting darker? A short, sharp, heavy shower followed a little later. Of course, my plan to ask the next caller to put the ankle and leg strappings and diabetic socks back on went out of the window. No hot water until tonight, and I’ll be too tired to bathe and shave by then. So, it means getting up even earlier in the morning to get it done before the Carer calls. With Carers coming an hour earlier now, seven, not eight o’clock, I’ll aim to get up at 05:00hrs in hopes of getting all of my done. This means trying to get this blog done early, or at least most of it, cause I’ll not have time in the morning to do it first thing, so I’ll need to get my head down earlier… but of course, this does not bother me a bit.

I went to empty out the day pouch of the catheter and spotted a spot above my kneecap. No pain from it; it doesn’t feel like a bruise to me? All part of the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind?
The urine seemed to be a little dark in colour again.
The new slippers were giving me no bother today. I wish I could say the same about the tubing attached to poor Little Inchie. He’s been chaffed at something awful today by .
The PP’s are bloodied. The sky suddenly lightened, and the beautiful clouds I looked up at showed instant pareidoliaising qualities!

Taken to my right: Can you see the face? Eyes, nose, beard in the clouds. I’ve circled it as I see it. The head is tilted.
Taken to my left, this shot is lighter as the sun is on the way down. You can see the shadows of it on the first one above right.
Another slightly tilted face.
Possible another face bottom, right? Well, the eyes of one, maybe?

Bootiful!
Called. I took his BP. I’ll put it on the list for tomorrow. He Had to rush, with the visit times being halved, but I managed to take it.

The urine in the day bag has gotten lighter now.
It filled a lot quicker this time around.
The sky had changed its hue again.
I tried to get a decent photographicalisation of the view three times.

No luck, it’s the mist, innit? That’s making it complicated.

Heated the oven for the chips for the chips to go in later. Scorched a finger or two on the bars.
I made a brew of the finest tea, Glengettie. The only one allowed now daily. This is because the Warfarin Anticoagulation INR results are all over the place. They blame the tea drinking. So, no longer two mugs of tea allowed daily, but one! Grunglenagocks!

Minutes later,   arrived. I took the medications, and I treated the lad to some nibbles.

Went to wash the mug, and the night hue had changed again.
Fetched To take some photographicalisation in the hope of getting at least one of them to come out reasonably decent. The first one was not too bad of the clouds.
As an afterthought, I tried to do a close-up of the lamp-lit streets ahead.
Ah, well, at least it had a Tate Gallery-appealing artistic side to it. Hehehe!
If cameras could talk, I bet he would be saying to himself, “I don’t know why this idiot even bothers!” Haha!

As I turned to grab my , a tug on the tube via  , as the weight of the contents dropped the whole kaboodle several inches down the leg, cracking the dried blood to release fresh warm and wet blood escaping from .
I limped to the wet room, and I cleaned up and medicated various things.
There were no curses, self-pity, or spitting! True! On this occasion, I just sort of felt it was all-natural, expected. I resigned myself to getting used to it; it ain’t gonna get any better, and philosophically thought, “It’s doing yourself no good getting angry each time; this will solve nothing. Time to get complaisant, amenable and accept what will be, will be… cope with it, you wimp!” Or summat like that. I am pretty sure that this moment of clarity of thought brought on a mini
Then another . After cleaning and medicating the lesion, I was struggling, as usual, to get the PPs on.
At the worst time possible, there I was, standing on Arthur Itis’s right leg, one hand on the sink, the other using the picker upper to hold the PP open to get my left leg in, raised the left leg… and twinged and at the same instant, gave way on me! I didn’t hit the deck, but I did bang my right elbow on the sink while using it to stop me from going down and stubbing my toe against the stanchion. Now the cursing, spitting, loathing, swearing and pissed-offendedness returned! The new deep thoughts on how I should react to these didn’t last long!

Well, I got two of them.
1 Down & 3 across.
I had to look up Lingaraj.
Lingaraja Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and is one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneswar, the capital of the Indian state of Odisha, India. The temple is the most prominent landmark of Bhubaneswar City and one of the state’s major tourist attractions.

Got the meal finished and served up.
Oven chips, Lamb & Mutton burgers, milk roll bread, & sliced pickled beetroot. With a small pot of tasteless orange-flavoured jelly, which started off with a small pot of blackberry cheesecake. But I dropped that on the floor, and it burst open.

TTFN, folks!

06:35hrs: Up and removed the nocturnal night pouch from the day pouch on my left leg.
Read the contents label. It showed that 500ml of urine had been passed in a few hours of kip.

An early Blue-Hue shot.
I seem to have taken two? Nobody told me. Hehe!

Wet room to get a wash and empty the half-full already day pouch.

Carer Christopher arrived and spent the rest of the day thinning I’d had a wash & shave. But, of course, the slightest distraction from the job in hand, always comes with the risk of forgetfulness.

Christopher has a new yellow bobble hat on. I resisted making any comments of a humorous nature. I liked it, and was jealous! Haha!
Chris took a couple of shots of the ailments of the morning. The waste bag, the catheter, always filling faster than Rishi, is losing votes.

Chris & her swollen knee for me, bless him. I got the diabetic socks fitted and medications issued.

The urine bag filled quickly again, and the colour didn’t look very good this time.

A bit of red joined the blue hue!

I got the computer going, and I had to empty the flipping pouch again. It was really full this time. I didn’t take a photo, being in a rush to get to the WC, in case it shot all over when I released the valve. Using the WC in the wet room did not turn out to be a good idea!  I got into the room, emptied the pouch without any bother, felt a little smug about that… then washed my hands and turned… walking straight into the edge of the door I’d left open. Hitting the chin and shoulder at the same time. Tut! Needless to say, but I will, this set off . I am typing for the rest of the day… well, most of it. It is hard to concentrate, but it is easy to make mistakes.
Of course, putting Phorpain gel on the shoulder, dropping the tube and treading on it, squirting most of the contents sell over my legs and the wet room floor, my two odd slippers ageing a stickiness and spreading it about so had to be taken off… then the flaming started as I bent down to pick them up for cleaning, didn’t have me swearing, cursing or anything thing like that, whatsoever. I was cool, calm and collected about the incidents.

I decided, rather sillily, to make an order for Iceland for the following Monday or Tuesday. I’ll check… It was Tuesday. Regarding paying, it went through the confirmation routine, and the bank sent an email;l with a one-off code to use… !!! Could I find my 1986 bought mobile phone? No! I couldn’t even hear if it was sounding. A semi-panic mode was engaged. I searched all over but without luck for half an hour or so. The code usually has to be used within so many minutes, and the time had run out long before I eventually came across the mobile. It was straight in front of me under the computer. But with my eyesight so bad, I did not see it until after searching the drawers and coat pockets and deciding to cancel the order; I found it when I got back to the computer. I tried again to pay, and sent another text message, this time I succeeded in paying up. Whether I blamed Cogniscent Impairment Iris, the waiting to have the Cataracts and Glaucoma Gladys done again, or just blamed my stupidity, it didn’t matter.
I was feeling a little low again!

Yet another need to empty the pouch! How come this is happening when I’d not been drinking very much at all? Far short of requirements anyway.

I decided to make a brew of Glengettie tea. I opened a packet of the new large cookies with white chocolates on the top and black chocolate bits inside. They were far too sweet for me. Humph!

Took this shot from the computer chair. I continued making mistake after mistake and errors in typing on the computer. I’ve known for months that this was going to come as Peripheral Pete and the dying neurotransmitters got worse. But it was still a shock to find myself struggling so much. Now I’ll have to cut back on the blogging, no choice. So sad!

Off again. Still too dark as well.

I’m going to get some nosh sorted out.
I’ll do some CorelDawing while it cooks.

I must get some size 8 slippers ASAP.
Another tsunami and the last two odd slippers that I have to wear will not be up to withstand another washing machine job.

I also need a new oven glove!

TTFN Back in the morning…
Or not. Hehehe!

Was the main hassle today. he spent most of the time off in the ether, far away. But, what do I know? A close second was persistent  , a frequent visitor, who ruined so many of my plans and hopes of any chance of improvement in mental health. He didn’t linger for long, but he did so often. Repeatedly, with a dogged determination to depress me more. I was mentally up and down like a yo-yo all day and night. I think that must have gone into coalition, and made a cunning deal, or agreement, with nightly , to have a go at me nocturnally too. I certainly woke up in an unaccountably niggly, self-hating mood.
Still, not much detail, but I’ll press on…

A smidge dark.

Late morning sky, 04:30hrs.
Late morning sky, 04:32hrs.

. Just when I was going to the wet room to get the ablutions done! I was in such low spirits, that I pressed on and got the shaving done first, fetching, having to struggle carrying hot water from the kitchen in the kettle and saucepan, and back again several times. Humph! It didn’t bother me in the slightest.
.
.
A couple of cuts shaving. One bled badly.
Had to clean up the haemoglobin on the sink & floor!

Carer Chris arrived and got the diabetic socks, and leg straps, on for me, and meds were given.

I recall calling later on, and she helped me sort something out I think, but I have no idea what it was. It might come back. (So might World Peace!) The missing laundry has not been returned.

Chimed out, and off to the door I hobbled.
No one there? Another of the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already delicate state of mind?

Got with the much-belated Tues blog.

The mudslide reclining?

View during the rain, through the balcony.

View from the kitchen in the rain.

Rain stopping now.

Sorry, not much in this.
