Terribly dark!
I broke the plastic drainer tube off of the Day Catheter, getting the night pouch off! Hobbled to the wet room initially to empty the pouch. Which had to wait as I almost tore the PPs in haste to get sat on the Porcelain before the flow started flowing, and boy, it came and came!

The legs looked a little worse for wear. The ankles in particular.
Not sure if you can see it, but the right leg swelling was growing again. The day pouch bag is due to be changed today.

I thought the red eye was looking better. But later, when Carer Christopher arrived, he said it was a lot worse.
Can’t win ’em all. Hehe!
As Chris was putting the diabetic socks on my legs, the light went out. No matter what we tried, it would not work. We assumed that the plastic bayonet had broken. I asked Chris to inform the Wardens for me, which he said he would.
I hope they can get someone to sort it out before it gets dark. Walking, well, hobbling around with a loose catheter bag, cartilages that might give at any time, or worse still, the walking stick and cooking to get done as well. Then there’s a chance I could trip over something, but the Cataract can’t. Well, they won’t be done again until the Glaucoma lasering has been done, but that’s doubtful at my age. Then a real risk of a
kicking off! The double vision doesn’t help either. I’m talking myself into a depression here, ain’t I? Hahaha!
I collated the various waste fabs into one and placed it near the front door, ready for collection later on in the day.
I took a photo of the trees and felt so sorry for the birds. It was howling out there. I bet a few nest chicks and eggs got smashed, then I spotted…
Police officers in the Woodthorpe Park bottom field.
In the second photo, I caught two officers chasing something or one to the left end, rear of Muggers Alley. Blotches on the lens again! Humph!
I went to the other room to answer the mobile phone that was ringing. It was a lady from the Nottingham Council Social Prescribing Team, but I had to ask her to ring back on the landline, which she did pleasantly. I have to get a Carer to read through it to find out what it is all about. Just my luck, Carer Carer has just gone on a fortnight’s holiday! (Vacation)
So, I’ll see who comes. She wants me to read it and ring her back. This does not bode well, but it does because it’s lovely that someone cares enough to help. It’s me who gets things mixed up, forgets things, and, at times, panics a smidge about anything official. Silly old fool.
Like with MS, CorelDraw, and WordPress, it sometimes does not put the right photos on, and I only find out when I do a preview. I found I have to rename them all the time. What’s the bloody hell is going on here? Is it Google or WordPress wrong? Or thick-me?
Oh, I do miss helpful Kara!

I got carried away there, back to the police presence…
Police appeared coming down the hill of foot, a police van and two more cars arrived.
Innit annoying when you don’t know what going on?
Mind you, that’s standard procedure for me.

I took a snap of the mudslide that had gone down a lot. The wind helped, I think.
Talking of the wind, I had a little escape from the rear end, and ASAP, I fumbled my way back to the wet room.

Warden & Desktop Dancer Julie came in. Carer Christopher had told her about the light bulb problem. She came up to make an assessment. Hopefully, she can get some help today for me, but if not…

When I was just a little boy
I asked my mother, what will I be
Will I be pretty? Will I be rich?
Here’s what she said to me
QuĂ© será, será…

Now piss-off!

The clouds gathering high in the already dank sky, seemingly getting lower, oh my, oh my…
I don’t know why I said that?
This often happens!

Ah, 168, that was obvious…

Better get summat to eat then. Sausages & Spaghetti?
Spaghetti with Mediterranean tomatoes and vegetables, small vegan sausages, Milk Roll sliced bread, and a small pot of orange jelly. I settled to eat it and took this photo on the left. Then I realised I’d still got some large vegan sausages in the oven that I forgot to add to the meal. So I retrieved them and added them to the feast in the bowl on the tray. That’s more like it! Hehehe! T’was not as good as I thought it would be.

Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (15 May 2024). Mossman was jailed for three and a half years and McKenna for three years. That poor man could have died! I’d have given them life on bread & water for nourishment. No visitors. In solitary, if they dirty the cell, it stays that way. A bucket between them for excrement use. No medical treatment. Just my view, of course.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s been another day of confusion, I’m afraid. It all started when I woke up around 05:00 hrs. The only way I can explain how I got out of bed is that I fell out of it! Well, no, I got out and watched the nocturnal catheter bag did not slip down and give Little Inchy’s Fungal lesion a painful tug. I put my right food on the ground, and as gave way,  then a series of  kicked off! A combination that guaranteed . As I thundered downwards, I hit my lip and nose on the table, I think. But, at least I was in the perfect place to haul my overweight body back up onto the bed. Finding a cut lip, bleeding nose, and Little Inchy bleeding from the tube during the kerfuffle. So, I got the Catheter emptied and decided to medicate things and do my ablutions. No outright winner twit Trotsky and Constipation Conrad, TT had an advantage over Love-15. Hehe!
After cleaning up, I medicated first. It took some effort to stop the bleeding on the lip, and the nose still trickled a smidgeon. Then, I tended to clean up Little Inchy, painful!
Washed myself all over, well, where I could reach. Barrier creamed the stomach and around Little Inchy. Then Germoloided the sore Haemorrhoids of Harold. Germolened the lip and set about shaving, being careful not to catch the cut on the lip with the razor, successfully. But did cut my earhole a bit. As I made up and took the waste bags to the doorway, I began to feel Dizzy Dennis coming on. He’d not bothered me for months now. It could have been brought on by the wake-up fall earlier, I suppose. Dizzy Dennis was in good form. I really thought I was going to go over it again, several times over the day. But Cartilages Chloe and Carole were good to me. A sudden bout of stomach-churning and rumbling sent me back to the . This time, it was  in full control.
The lip had started bleeding again, so I cleaned it and put some antiseptic disinfectant on the top lip. This is when I noticed the Red Eye was a lot worse today, or rather, the white part of the eye was no longer white.
Carer Christopher took this picture of it when he came later. He also sent me some pictures on his mobile phone and emailed them to me.
I think the lad took them from the balcony, but do not know when he did so.
The top one was taken from the first building, Winchester Court. Cause it shows the traffic island near the bus stop.
The other two were shot on different days; they were from the balcony, I think.
Jolly decent of him!
He knows I’m struggling with my camera with the blotches that so annoy me.

Back on the timeline. I took this as I booted up the computer to update yesterday’s blog. It didn’t take long for more hassle to heave into reality and jolly-well pickle me off.

WordPress was still loading differently than the chosen graphics, which I knew nothing about until the end when I did a preview! I suspect it was me that had done something wrong, but WordPress would not let me delete them!
I had to go back to CorelDraw and save it as a different name, then reload it into WordPress while the wrong picture was selected. I found out by trial & error.
As I said, it was likely my error! Then…
All the CorelDraw icons suddenly went to large ones again. I only had the middle strip available to see the page to work on.
Pissed off, I was called to the Throne a third time! Took me ages to clean up afterwards. I found that the lip had been bleeding again. This time, I cleaned it up and put some Germolene on it this time. That should do it.
When I got back to the computer, the icons were back to the minuscule ones. There is no option for a ‘medium size’, normal, or large only, and believe me, they are tiny or massive. With my eyes, it is difficult and time-consuming.
Then…   On MS Word to create the ode, I got baffled by all the Need to reset MS Word messages. More time was lost trying to understand what various terms meant on the options offered. I gave up, I had to click a ‘Remind Me Later’ button to get it to go off of the screen. They’ll be back. Grrr!

I got the meal thought over, planned, and partly prepared at a ridiculously early hour. I can’t remember when mid-afternoon, I think.
A can of minced beef, some Mediterranean chunky tomato sauce, a packet of black bean sauce, and a drop of Mushroom Ketchup went into the saucepan with a can of garden peas and got well stirred up. I even thought I might have some chips with it. It’s been there on the stove and stirred a few more for nine hours now.
This blog is taking so long because of all the time lost with the MS Word, CorelDraw, and WordPress farcicalness. That’s not the right word, but I’m getting fed up with moaning.

The blotches were covered by the colouration in this teatime shot of the wonderful sky with beautiful, eerie clouds, I was almost talking to them.
Well, well well, a record for this year to date, it was back to the Porcelain Throne yet again.
This time, it was almost a total reversal. Ruled by Trotsky Terence. So much so that I had a go at the crossword book while sitting there, wondering if the partly protruding concert and metal Torpedo was ever going to get any further on its escape plan! More blogging time is lost.
It is nearly midnight now. I’ll have to play catch-up in the morning and get the meal done and eaten. Since I don’t have chips, I’ll have a couple of baguettes to soak up the fodder.
Back in the morning. Well, I hope to be.

Now, I can’t get into comments on WordPress! Curse!
Now, the reader page is not working. Just showing everything, not what I want. Pissed-off!
What going on?
Can anyone please advise me?

Despite today’s frustrating, annoying, problem-filled day, the literal agony of the poor, tugged-away-at-by-the-catheter tube, gunge, and blood extruding poor Little Inchie, I enjoyed the meal of the day so much.
I soon got it all inside my wobbly, overweight tummy.
Got the pots washed.
And took this snap of the wonderful view on offer through the kitchenette window. Another slightly eerie-looking one.

How did you do?

A comforting thought, with me awaiting a 2nd Cataract and a Glaucoma operation. Cartilage procedures on both knees. DVT operations and a possible, I hope, permanent Catheter being fitted. Still, I may be arguing with St Peter before they get around to doing me. Hehe!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
A baffling wave of mysterious (to me) messages since the update came in. CorelDraws unfathomable changes made in the new CorelDraw 2024. Peripheral Pete’s Neurotransmitters made it beyond my limitations to use the colour swatches, so I had a mammoth job having to make them larger, and now I have a much smaller working area for creating things. No choice, though, had to be done, or I’d have had to stop doing my blog. The grip on the mouse is precarious and oh, so shaky. The PN’s lack of sensation when typing, is really hauling me!
You wouldn’t believe how frustrating this all is. However, that’s how it is. Nothing can be done about Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters dying. It can only get worse. I’ll keep going to satisfy my swarm of followers as long as I can, but the content is taking me so long that I’m not getting anything else done. I hope they both understand. Hehe!
Norton is confused about my losing the password. Amazon’s delivery of a cheap camera was delayed. Until then, I’ll use the Kodak Tim Camera with its blotches.
Cartilages Chloe and Carole have given way today. I only went down once, though. Chloe gave way as I was getting fresh PPs on in the wet room. Naturally, I fell on Chloe’s knee, which didn’t help much. I also hit my nose on the grab bar on the way down. Just an ordinary day, really.
Carer’s Christopher, Kara and Kimberley attended.

Way too dark!

Murky morning view.

The first picture came out wrong?

Same view later on, misty still.
A two-tea-bag brew of Glengettie.
Accidentally!

JS order.

Some good grub here!
Fridge full!

I spent so much time getting confused by WordPress and CorelDraw changes, but I did take some photos of the now persistent rain falling, throughout the day.
Took a Kodak Tim to snap through the window, on the balcony, of course, of the end car park and the mudslide.
Several shots from the kitchen window and the balcony through the afternoon.
I had to keep taking breaks from blogging as the problems were getting to me. I hate it when I can’t type or manipulate the mouse well, but as the nurse said to me, I will have to get used to it now.
The rain just kept coming. Not too heavily, but I did note that a resident and ambulance transport crew got wet as they returned from the hospital, poor things.

Have I made a cock-up, and put the same picture as the top one of the car park on here for you again? Sorry! Ah, no. I see now an extra car, and the mudslide seems a little more widespread. I wonder if, eventually, all that sinking rainwater going underground may loosen the flats’ foundations.

I found them, but it took a little longer.

My concentration is degenerating into tabefaction. I was chatting away with Carer Joanne while she got the medications sorted, and I lost what I was talking about in a flash – twice! Then, later, as I was paying a visit to the , nothing moved, no motion, was in full control – absolute control. I sat and waited, counting the cracks in the ceiling (23), had a bash at the crossword puzzle (Got one answer), and as I gave up and stood up, I knocked the olive oil bottle, and it fell straight into the WC! Yes, I think I may have sworn… but not as much as I did two minutes later. Using the picker-upperer to get the Protection Pants back up, I tore them at the seam. I got a fresh pair out of the bag and started to carefully get them on, not easy as it took place mid-way through the procedure. But, no falls, no injuries, no harm. I got the pants in position and sorted the leg bag into position, and I seem to remember thinking to myself, at the time, ‘Well, that went well. ‘Fatal!’ I should have known better with my luck! I turned to leave, and I walked into the bloody doorframe again! Hitting it right where I’d had the Covid jab inserted! I cursed so angrily at myself; there was phlegm coming out of my mouth, and the pain seemed a second consideration; my first one was to curse my luck… several times and with a wide variety of self-vituperation & condemnation-led foul mutterings. Acrimoniousness, blasphemy & self- malignity! I was so angry at myself that I felt guilty and foolish a minute or so later – what if someone had heard me? Oh, dearie me!
No wonder I want someone to adopt me as a grandad!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A smidge darker this jolly morning.

A jolly mug of Glengettie for me. I pathetically knocked it over in a Shaking Shaun second; Humph!
Made another.

Morning’s first photo.

The scab is breaking up slowly. I think some will be missing by tomorrow morning. I mustn’t pick at it!

As wot I wrote in the prologue.
Fresh leg bag on after ablutioning.

Second external photo.

I’ve been blogging with more mistakes than I could count for three more hours to put things right that I got wrong, I hope!
Carer Shaquille, then Carer Joanne.

Emptying the Catheter Day Bag.
I swear it was bubbling. Hehe!

Third window shot, beautiful clouds.

AGAIN!

Later on, clouds again.
Plenty of things in these, I see,
A duck, fish and a bee,
And a sun so shiny!

Tore the PPs. As already mentioned above.

Carer Victor. Did his BP, good result.
SYS 110 – DIA 73 -Pulse 93 – TEMP 34.3°c.

More figures in this wonderful photo of the clouds from the kitchenette window.

I got it! But it took me far more than 3 seconds!

It’s late now, very late. I better save the blog, switch off, and get a meal sorted out. I’ll do the catch-up in the morning. Back later! Well, I hope I will. Haha!

Contrails in the sky… or are they?

It was a lovely meal. Lamb and mutton burgers were eaten on thin slices of milk roll bread, dunked in ketchup with pickle. Nice UK tomatoes and crinkle-cut chips! A pot of mandarins in jelly eaten for afters. Nice!

I took this shot of the sky as I washed the pots up, and then I settled down to watch Death Wish 3 on the TV. I managed to stay awake throughout the movie, even during the advertisements. I dozed off as it was finishing. I’d forgotten how far-fetched yet almost amusing this film was. I like it when the goodies win. A fantasy, of course.

Got in the hospital bed. But sleep was not coming, although I felt tired and drained. After an hour of trying to kip, I got up and fetched a cold drink from the fridge.
Took this early morning photo.
And got back into the bed.
Within a few minutes – Zzz!.

This morning, I could not find this photo from yesterday; I thought it had gone AWOL into the ether. But here it is. Baffles me, but that’s not unusual.

The early morning I wrote about this morning on yesterday’s blog.
Morning view. Later than usual, of course. I was still in bed when Carer Chris arrived.

I know where it went. Hehe!

Got the computer on, and went into a Mind-Blank stroke . I was already miles behind on the blog as it was, and now I had lost over an hour.
But I do recall struggling with the couple vision and being nervous about hitting any wrong combinations on the keyboards and not knowing which I’d hit wrongly to correct any errors. I did, of course. This cost me another half-hour!

Carer Joanne came. I thought of asking her how she felt about one of her dogs, which she had to put down yesterday. But I thought better of it.

The day bag had filled quickly again.

I went to the kitchen to get some potatoes in the slow cooker and took these two shots of the view.

I tried to get the Asda (Walmart) bag and label in the shot. They were called Asda Extra Special. Likely Special because some of them were in an especially terrible condition. See above! But, they did give me a moment of pareidoliaing, and I spotted features of a face and bald head on the skin of the spud. Can you see the lips, eyes and an ear in the picture?

The vagueness in my head and eyesight problems were confounded by the fact that each time I had to stand and walk, both of the Cartilages seemed to be taking turns giving way.

Still, it comes!

The Iceland Deliver Arrived.
Got the nibble box topped up.
This one contained porridge, salt and vinegar nibbles, disposable razors, and bleach, as far as I can tell.
Pork pies, beef pasties, Mediterranean vegetables, Eurgh-flavourless Moroccan tomatoes,& baguettes.

Turning a little lighter at last as the afternoon went on. Wonderful clouds.

Got the dressing gown to change into later.

This great shot was taken to the left of the kitchenette window.
This one is to the right.

Carer Victor arrived. Medications sorted.

I was not entirely with it but pressed on with a mistake-making blast at the blog.

A later shot with the sun fighting to stay out.

Got some nosh sorted.

TTFNski!

A little lighter colour this morning.
Morning sky shot
And… a ground shot!

Balcony doors.

Later on, a kitchen view.

End car park.

Kitchenette.

Midday gloom. It did brighten a bit later.

Nearly caught me out again!

I took this Kodak Tim shot.
Then tiredness & weariness dawned.
The plan was to get some sleep in before the teatime caller came and then get back on the blog.
This plan did not come to fruition!
I struggled to get stripped and clambered into the bed. In particular,  gave forth pains, complaining as I got in and settled into the new second-hand bed. I struggled further, getting into a pain-free position for sleep.
Eventually, I was satisfied that I’d got it as good as I was going to and cleaned up the mess I’d made around the bed, got the overbed table in position with the flat torch, the mobile phone and a bottle of water on it, and climbed painfully into a raise prone position which I thought was okay. It wasn’t!
I just got myself deeper into a mess again. Not being able to see or understand the controller did not help much. Within two minutes of my laying down in the snug bed, I’m afraid that
kicked off. Annoyed and frustrated, I got out, made the bed and put the overbed table up on it. With was angry at all the leg lifting needed.
I was now verging on sinking into the mammoth depression as I got back into the c1968 itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibbling, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly grotty, no longer working, dirty beige, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for ÂŁ300 ten years ago from the charity shop, recliner. But at least I found , at long last. I had turned on the TV, and the 16:00hrs News was starting, but I soon drifted off into a wonderful oblivion. Heavenly sleep! But it didn’t last long. Five minutes later, turned up, full of the joys of spring. Hahaha! He issued the medications, and I was in the chair for the entire visit, mumbling about needing sleep! Hehehe! He didn’t hang out and left me wishing I could get some sleep!
Which I did within minutes of Chris departing, a deep, wonderful, dream-filled at times, but not bad ones. I slept for an hour at least… then, you’ve probably guessed, started off! They didn’t last for very long. But they put an end to any more silly hopes and dreams of getting to sleep… at least until for two hours or so when I managed to nod off back to kip in the ÂŁ300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner. For five minutes, and the return of made his last call. The lad took off the diabetic socks and issued the medications by torchlight. Bless him. I told him to take some nibbles and a cold drink from the fridge. Oh, and a can of Corona beer. I think I nodded away as soon as he’d departed. And stayed in the good-dream-filled slumber for about 3 hours,
I woke, unsure of where I was, when it was, and my tormented mind full of self-lambasting, guilt, shame and embarrassment-filled memory recollections from . Worran ‘orrible night!

Slow day for once. Nodded off a few times. Depression lurking. Lost so few photographs. I lost my wristwatch (still searching). Stubbed toe. Not feeling too good, coughing and wheezing a smidge.

Forgot to put a nocturnal catheter pouch on, so it is a full-day bag to wake up to.

Morning views.

Heavy fog for an hour or two.

I lost my camera and wristwatch.

Carer Christopher. Looks and sounds a little poorly to me! Hope he’ll be okay.

Forever changing. Tsk!

Darker again.

Struggling with the blog.
But found the camera!
Just in time to catch the end of sunset.
Did a sweep of the sky.
Right view.

Got some potatoes in the oven and pressed on with this blog… Made mistakes? Me? Yes! Tons!

Went to check on the spuds.
Photo’s the progress of the spuds. But missed. Haha!
Almost ready.
Seasoned the vegetable stew.
Added some veg stock.

I took three snaps of the last of the sun’s glow.
All in close-ups, so not too good.
The ribbon of light.
To the left, some clouds.
Great looking further on.

Got the nosh served up.
Tinned chunky vegetable soup. Roast potato chunks added. Along with tomato & Mediterranean vegetables cooking sauce. Two oven-cooked bread rolls. A baby-sized pot of orange jelly and some spring water with a dash of Pineapple and Grapefruit flavour.

Now, this may surprise you… it did me…
took a night off!
Unfortunately, had five hours of twinging and stabbing away at me. Occasionally accompanied by . Well, perhaps she was getting jealous? Hahaha!

Please have a great day!

The 3rd day of ups & downs, ins & outs.
Periods of positive and negative thoughts, moods, or interactions consistently. Just as the leaflet on FND symptoms quoted. A state of perplexity, then of bafflement, inattention, abstraction, and a new one to me, a sort of suspended animation. With moments of almost ecstasy, then back down to submitting to short, dank, dark depressions. It is now Saturday, midday. And this is as far as I’ve got with this blog!
So I’ll have to do a rushed job from here on.

Good colour.

Going to dish these and the other odd pairs that have been weeded on from the leaky catheter bags, valves or tumbles, Whoopsiedangleplops.

I can recall taking these shots. This first one got me in a bad mood as I failed again.
Tried again. Ah, not so bad.
Shame I couldn’t take a close-up.
Well, I did, but they were crap!

This sudden evacuation into the day bag was the first of eleven today. Humph!

Evening effort of the view.
Take within seconds of each one.

I was coming out of another sort of trance, and I saw the colour of the sky through the window. Grabbed Kodak Tim and hobbled to the kitchenette to get shots of the sunset before it disappeared.
Even in my state of mind at the time, I thought how beautiful the view was.
Peaceful, serene,
A magnificent scene,
Like part of a dream,
Not bad for an old sleeveen!
I’d better take another Codeine.

It beat me.

Oh, missed my nosh photo off

Guess what it is?

Take Care Each!

Not bad at all.

Kitchen view, kettle on.

Amalgamated the waste bins.
Amalgamated, I like that word. Hehe!

And.

Legs creamed.
Whoever mopped the floor last had put the mop away without washing it. So, (No cleaner this week, holidays?) I washed it and then tried to mop the floor a bit…
Part-way through. Stung, then gave way. I pulled my back as I grabbed for the handrail, and that was the end of my mopping-up session. Then, I made sure of that. Got the new PPs on. After a struggle and a little foul language

Put some thick-skinned red potatoes in the crock-pot. Plan to have these later, with the smoked haddock and some garden peas. We’ll see how it goes. My EQ is telling me it will be messy for some reason? He’s rarely wrong.

Got the diabetic socks and leg straps on.
He did a decent job of it.
I asked him to take the laundry down for me, please.

I got the computer on, hoping to update yesterday’s blog without too many complications.

Tea Red Label The JS order that was meant for next week arrived. I am worried about my constant cock-ups!
Treats galore! The smoked haddock was the star of the delivery. I hope to follow Sister Jane and Neighbour Jenny’s instructions and make a decent meal with it.
Why did I get Pickling vinegar? What did I think I was ordering? Has , along with finally taken over my brain? I just wondered.

The fridge was near bursting point. (Wait until tomorrow?)
Topped up the Nurses & Carers Treats shelves.

The smoked Haddock pack.
The bottom of the smoked Haddock pack.
Made this above to see the instructions clearly.

Pressed on with the blogging.

Trip number two.

Taken through the balcony windows.

Pressed on with the blogging. Well... I say blogging is more like correcting grammatical mistakes and fixing my corrections later. If you see what I mean?

I was surprised later to see how the mudslide was so big. I’m sure that we had less rain today.

I got the oven heating up and consulted my notes on cooking the haddock meal before starting on it… and a problem of sorts arose! I thought I’d got a roll of Asda Kitchen Foil out, and when I opened it up to judge the size needed for the haddock bits to go into… I observed it was, indeed, called not foil, but ‘baking parchment’? One side seemed to be foil, and the other was like brown paper? Which way around am I supposed to use it to wrap the fish?
It was getting late now, but I tried ringing neighbour & friend Jenny and Sister Jane for advice on this cooking issue. But could not get through to either. So, decided to wrap it with the foil on the inside. I prepared everything and spotted a chimney fire through the window… Out came .
They were not very good attempts, were they? Tsk!

I reconcentrated on cooking the meal. The fish needed 15 minutes in the oven, the potatoes needed to be taken out of the slow cooker and sliced, and the peas in the saucepan could go onto the plate. I’d been hoping but looking forward to this nosh since the delivery arrived. I put the dishes in the sink to soak as I went along. And Wallah! Got it served!

The fish might have been a smidge undercooked, but it was good enough for me. The lemon juice and butter came through in the taste. Two minutes into the eating…
The landline burst forth.
It was neighbour Jenny ringing back, cause she missed my earlier call. I wanted to get back to the meal but quickly asked her about the Baking, not aluminium foil. She’d never heard of it before. Bless her for ringing back.
Back to the meal. Another two minutes later…
The landline burst forth.
It was Sister Jane ringing back, cause she missed my earlier call. I wanted to get back to the meal but quickly asked her about the Baking, not aluminium foil. She’s never heard of it. Then gave me instructions on how to cook the haddock. A little late, mind. Hahaha! Bless her for ringing back, too.
The meal was as good as cold when I got back to it.
Oddly, I still enjoyed it, even if not hot. Hehe!

Took this photo as I was washing the pots.

Cheerio, Folks! ♥

04:05hrs: I woke up, bursting into singing, badly out aloud; Oh, What a Beautiful Morning
Oh, all right then...
I realised I needed a good shave and wash when I sniffed my torso as I got up to release the nocturnal catheter pouch. Hehe!.
The urine was a little dark again.
I was hobbling a smidge dodgily. I went into the kitchen, with the usual fear coming on that I’d find the hot tap or stove had been left on, but all was clear. As I took a photo of the high-in-the-sky moon.
I made a right mess of that one. Tried again…
This one was not a lot better.

Getting the diabetic socks off was not easy, and twice, I nearly took a tumble trying to get back upright after each sock was clawed off the legs. It had to happen, of course, as I tripped on the leg quilt that I had taken off. Somewhat painfully, although I didn’t hit the deck, managing to lean toward the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibblings, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige recliner, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for ÂŁ300, ten years ago from the charity shop, which broke my fall.

. This displays my stupidity, as I was about to go to the wet room to have a stand-up wash and shave, thus washing off the Germolene in the process. Humph!

Off to the wet room. First things first…
Yellowy, runny, stinky!
Above all, it was messy!

I’d got the larger Morrisons PPs on and set about removing them along with the dried blood from , after he’d been tugged at by the . The crusted haemoglobin broke, and red flowed down my leg onto the floor. I had to clean it up before starting shaving, in case I slipped on it. That’s two close calls this morning. At the back of my mind, I knew a third was due.
A good job. I rose early again. But had to rush things a little in case the Carer called early.

Got the floor cleaned and started to get the shaving done. Things went well today. Just one teeny-weeny nick on the ear hole. But not for long...
Putting the razors away and dropping them both it was a deja vu again! I hit my forehead on the edge of the sink, and noticed, somehow, I’d missed it earlier when shaving, but the red-eye was back again.
Well, that was the third out of the way.

Dressing gown back on; it was a little cold without the strappings and socks on. But not for long…
Ten minutes later, arrived. She Germolened the right leg for me first off.
Then got the diabetic sock on for me, and we got the leg straps on between us. She did a good job of them. Then she issued the medications for me.
She’s spent a little longer with me than usual due to the extra fittings needed, and she had to rush off. Bless her. Did a good job all around.

I was on the blogging, and doing well, I thought.
Suddenly it was three hours later, and called on me. I was in a bit of a state of losing the memory of what I’d been doing for so long, and I mentioned the FND symptoms, of which memory loss is included, and she listened to me, which was nice. She took the laundry down with her for me.

After she’d departed, I made a brew of Glengettie.

Then returned to the computer to see what I’d been doing for hours. I came across a cloud photo that I must have taken earlier too.
This inspired me to take a look at the end car park mudslide, and I took this.
The pool had shrunken a little.

The leggings had not slipped. Mariam had done a good job on them this morning.

I made another mug of tea, and to my surprise, turned up. Where had the time gone? I was not concentrating at all.

No rush, I related the FND findings, but each time I looked at him he was on his mobile phone. Hehe! Nothing unusual with that. I was getting things off my chest to anyone who’d listen today. Even those who didn’t listen. Hahaha!

It is not advisable to think that because things like & have occurred three times in a day, and you have prevailed, it does not mean the fourth will not be the start of the next three. If you get my grift? I decided to get the oven heating up for the sausage and roast potatoes to be cooked for the daily meal later on.

I dropped the tray of potatoes, oh Woe…
The dish landed on my ingrowing toenail toe,
Slipped, retrieving each potato…
On the oven, I banged my elbow,
Got them in the oven, on the wrong regulo,
And I’ve lost my remaining libido!
Hehehe!

Do not be idle like wot I was, and buy any Asda prepared frozen roasting potatoes for any meal.
You will not like them unless you like the flavour of mushy-crushed cardboard. I imagine if anyone ate them, they would end up with tummy aches, as wot I did. And I only ate four of them before dishing the others in the waste bin, post haste.
Although Not Glorious This Time!

Washing the pots, and the view on offer from the kitchenette widow, although a little dull with the clouds, was still Bootiful!
Then a closer Kodak Tim shot was taken.
A charm in this one?

CHEERS!
