I’d like to report that things were very much better today.
But I can’t!
The agony of worries over the shortages of medications and the tube chaffing from
tube; many other things, but the main one was
, who was winning the battle with
never having been so bad.
,
&
ensured that my vision was crap and getting worse. Plus, so many hours were spent correcting mistakes. Just thought I’d mention it.
As usual for the last two weeks, frustratingly, there was no
night-bag to change. This mystery of the medication’s non-arrival, and unattainable night catcher bags, is the reason for the pain I’m suffering. The night bag gave the day bag a refresh, which I believe helped clear the infection from the bladder. The mega-high Blood Pressure and the darkening urine since these things stopped coming to indicate this to me. But I’m powerless to do anything about them. No District nurse calling; new medications, along with last months medication, supposedly waiting for collection at the pharmacy. No DVT or
Phlebotomy nurse called in weeks now? I’m in bad pain through the lack of tablets. Doreen’s Dementia is affecting my responses. The eyes are making everyday tasks harder and full of accidents and mistakes. Oh, dear! Just thought I’d mention it. Not that it helps, of course.
Fancy that!
But it lightened later.
Morning view
But the blood pressure was horrendous! I did extra checks in the hope that it would come down, but… Nope! Wonder if this is due to the none attainment of, and running out of some medications?
Fingers crossed
Oh the bright side (I had to look very hard, Hehe!), the ankle ulcers were nice and calm. (Says Inchie as he gets grief from the catheter tube via Little Inchie and cleans the blood up changers protection pants,

A bad day all round today.
Window-Man Joe called to do them.
I was out of it most of the time with taking so many painkillers, I think.
No idea what had happened for several hours.
I keep mentioning the pain I was in to each Carer.
At least, I think I must have.
Got the meal served up early, I gave up trying to concentrate on the computer. Cooked the meal without any damage. Hehe!
Sat watching TV with subtitles and devouring the pleasantly tasty meal I’d done for myself. Pretend meat (Very nice), beetroot, tomatoes, and potato cubes done in the oven after being sprayed with oil.
Carer Josef arrived mid-feast. Can’t recall what happened, he was soon off, as there was no night bag to change, and I’d already taken the painkillers & Peptac. Nice lad.
Zzz!

This is for January 2003

The morning view… was rather blue
I’d decided, as the Urine colour was so high on the chart.
Made a brew of Glengettie.
Took these snaps of the strange lighting this morning.

What was the mouse? Has a map on it
Fantastic wider shot!
A close-up of the sun.
Seem’s the sun is spewing out a monster…
A Genie, mayhap? Hehehe!
An eagle above?
It seems that the dark clouds are trying to extinguish the sun?
Nice meal!
Made too much again. (I often do that?)

My feet and ankles were slightly swollen after Colin Cramps gave up on me. And they were looking a lot better, although a little rough looking.
The first
The helpful driver took the things through to the kitchen for me.
Treats; marshmallows for the old man and pouches of instant chocolate for the nurses and carers. Got some flowers as well.
Some sourdough cobs.
Hopefully, I’ll have these with the non-meat meat. With some chips, with a couple of the well butter-veganed sourdough rolls.
Heap trouble with the computer!!! Got this screen telling me it was needed to rescue Firefox? It ran of its own accord???
Not the foggiest what it was all about.
This came up while it was doing its thing…
I Waited in how for… Five hours! But it showed 1.08% done on the first of the five dozen, whatever they were working on.

This last one came out better than I thought it would with the sun straight at me. Although I can’t take any credit.
The wee-wee was getting darker again, as per usual in the evenings.
Well, that caught me! An hour later, another

Why I took this, I know not. No doubt I had some witty comment in mind at the time (Whenever that was). Or… took it accidentally?
Plates of meat on the first catheter bag emptying.
Good colour; the bag needed emptying more times today than ever!.
Murky!
Still yet, the Catheter Pouch Fills – Great!
The ankles and feet swell a little, and blood under the skin?
Aha, an hour later, much better!
The right ankle ulcer starts to glow? Hehe! No pain with it. A few indentations in the flesh still. What they, I’ve not the foggiest! I suppose it’s all a part and parcel of the unaccountable mysteries, ailments, phantoms, failings and hauntings of 72, Woodthorpe Court.

Ankle ulcers have lost their glow.
The Iceland Delivery arrived.
Got the fridge loaded up.
Pleased to report that Asda has some Sourdough rolls in stock.
Bit of a cock-up with the tray of vegetables. (Fancy that?)
Selection includes the rather tasty cartons of vanilla-flavoured milk.
Now the fridge is really stocked up!
Intercom on in the mini-hallway.

First Pouch emptying…
Before the mist descended.
Food order. Some treats for the Carers.
One of the afternoon pouch emptying.
Nice parking today!
Mug of Glengettie, note-less notepad, and a nose bleed.
Blimus! This one filled up quickly.
Not a good colour.
Costly business nowadays. Last year the above cost me

Nippy and windy this morning. Glum, too!
Potatoes into their crock pot again.
Busy week. Hang on, I did this yesterday, didn’t I? Oh, dear. I think I’m losing it faster than I thought!

Why I took this… another mystery.
Bit of rain.
THe Adsa order arrived…
Kepy it down this time; not too much bought…

Still Bootiful!
MY being a pareidolia addict, I found something

I rose, then went to empty the catheter’s wee-wee…
Cor Blimey, Flipping Heck and Fancy That!
Lovely blue hue to the morning view!
Aha, Lord Sainsbury’s delivery, you see…
Baked beans, Four bean soup, Gravy, mint sauce, mixed vegetables, chopped tomatoes with basil & oregano, porridge, and baking soda.
Fresh Kenyan garden peas, Cheese & onion pie.
Aha, the wee-wee looks better.
Bootiful clouds.
Down to the main foyer, had a nosey around…
A look at the notice board…
Then along into Winwood Court through the link passage.
Lost balance as I was pushing the three-wheeled walker through the apartment door. No tumble…
But did trap my hand in the door.
.
Another good emptying colour here.
An eerie side to this one.
Amazing!
The ultimate pareidolia one!!!
Oh, a break in the clouds!

Blood in the night pouch.
Straight down on the bottom field
To the right, a smidgeon…
Then into the maze of houses opposite.
Oh, good colour this time on emptying.
I got my dressing gown on, emptied the part full

Food seasonings! Which were used later in the making of, well, potato & veg soup, I suppose. Then, I tried to catch the end of a film #I was watching when Amazon emailed me to lie about the delivery being done.
1978: Terrible acting, scenery, and special effects…

Flavour rating: 9.2/10.
Heckithump! Blood in the urine again!

Blimus! This is the day pouch an hour or so later.
Carers table.
Evening shot of the sky.
Evening shot of the sky, slightly lower.
Down a bit more…
Down to the car park.
Well, not stew, more a can of soup, to which I added a mass of soy imitation bacon bits and a load of baked mini-cubes of potatoes.
