Going again, no idea how I did it if I actually did it or it did!

All het up and frustrated. Checked on latest confusing Coronavirus figures.

Started to update again.

Duodenal Donald responded to the hassle, not good at all.

Ablutions – hand washing.

Mechanically retrieved Beef flavoured Chicken and calf lungs sausages! No idea why.

Belated Health checks.

Ablutions. Bad fall.

Duodenal Donald in a bad mood.

Mug Glengettie Gold. Dropped it after taking the photo.

Just not good, got down to rest.

Nodded off, medications Woke and got on blogging.

Lost everything again – Argh!!!

Despondent, got massive nosh made.

Ate the fish but not much else, worried about upsetting Duodenal Donald any more than was necessary.

Throne, bloody, solid, tough going.

Not feeling too good. Meds, wash, head-down.

Thursday 1st October 2020

Afrikaans: Donderdag 1 Oktober 2020

00:00hrs: I woke and wobbled my body from the c1968 recliner, and off to the wet room for the regulatory wee-wee. A WCT (Weak-Cloudy-Sprinkly) effort this one was. The brain seemed to be in a rare indifferent, dispassionate, almost pococurante mode? Not me at all! The lack of fretting, worries, fears, and even the ailments, (apart from Anne Gyna), were all currently being kind to me. This would typically have made me confused, but it didn’t this morning, I just didn’t care! I was actually worried over my not being worrying!

I wayward thoughts that even I didn’t understand continued. I have always got the Health Checks, medicationalisationing, tablet taking, and a made a brew of either Glengettie Gold, Thompsons Punjabi, or Glengettie Gold tea, after the first wee-wee of the day. But no, not today. The fickle, ornery mind, decided I’d just to take the medications, and not to even make a cuppa!

Then it decided to go out of the front door and take some photographs of the new floor laid yesterday afternoon.

I was not impressed particularly, but it was better than the flooring initially intended. Not that it matters much, my recalcitrant brain refused to let me get bothered or much interested. Which made me wonder why it had given me the idea to photograph the new flooring in the first place?

You can see how muddled and puddling my poor brain is today, can’t you? The sooner it returns to its normal anxiousness, lacking in confidence, agitated, cowering mode, the better for me! I can’t cope with it like this, in a rebellious and stroppy condition!

The summoning to the Porcelain Throne arrived, so off to the wet room. And what a session. The rear-end evacuation took that long to get started, I dare not force it, that I needed two wee-wees while I awaited the action to start! I’m not joking! When the activity began, the pain did too. But it only moved enough to stretch things, and Harold’s Haemorrhoids suffered and kicked off to let me know something was squashing the poor little mites, so I had two lots of agony to contend with then!

This was more normal, and the brain seemed to sink back into its pathetic ‘Sorry-for-itself’ and ‘Worried to death about everything’ mode again! I felt more comfortable then. But, still suffering the pains, and things had stopped once more, causing more severe discomfort, but I was alright with that, for I think I was slowly losing my marbles, going unhinged and doolally.

The action suddenly started again, and it so hurtful, it burst out in such haste and agony, the relief left me panting for breath? I stay there on the Throne, trying to regain control over the grey-cells and allow the pain to subside, and another involuntary wee-wee was passed. Despite everything, I almost laughed out loud, as I heard the tinkling in the bowl! Hahaha!

That visit should be recorded, it was crazy, purgatory and I never want to go through one like this again! I’ve got 14-days before the Bowel Examination, the bladder one is next week, I think, then the bowel one the week after, both on a Thursday. The Germoloid applications were somewhat exciting and stung a lot more than they usually do. Hehehe!

Got a wash, and feeling a little nearer to normality now I had something valid to worry about, off to the kitchen. I got the kettle on, and made a start on the Health Checks with the stick thermometer, which was much higher today, the highest I can remember it being, so good news there!

Made the brew of Thompsons Punjana, and got the sphygmomanometerisationing done. Oh, dearie me! The SYS had shot up to 169? Why is it, that whenever one of the nurses takes my blood pressure, it’s always within range? Unglefrogwonglingisations!

At last, I got the updating started, and persevered right through to getting the blog all finished. Doing this, I should think took me about three hours, during which I needed, wait for it… six wee-wees! Most of them of a WCT (Weak-Cloudy-Sprinkly) type, apart from the last two, which had changed to the JPASB (Jet-Powered-Achroous-Spray-Back) mode! Still, variety is the spice of life, as some twit said.

I got the link emailed, went on the WordPress Reader, replied to some comments and went of Facebooking catch-up. I’ve turned into a right little grafter, now, Haha!

I went to make another brew, and as I was getting the Glengettie Gold teabag out of the tub, I dropped it. Leant against the counter and bent down to retrieve it, and saw the bobble hat and yarmulkes, that had fallen behind the drawers. Guilt then flowed through me. They were now dusty and dirty. But not for long, I got the washing bowl and had a good hand-laundering session. In fact, as you can see below, I got a little carried away with it. Tsk!

Got the heaters going, and the cloths done, wrung and hung to dry.

Made a mug of Glengettie, and how IO didn’t drop it, is a miracle. Nicodemus’s rotten Neurotransmitters again, and flipping Colin Craps combined attack.

But, I fooled them with swift, cunning, cleverly imposed reactions!

Ablutionalisationing next: Another decent session all around really, apart from getting a bit of a hefty-clout on the grab bar, when Dizzy Dennis visited during the showering. The Germoloiding, causing the worst, pain-wise.

The window cleaner arrived and soon had me done. £12 for the balcony and kitchen windows to be done. Chinwag enjoyed.

Got the waste bags on the three-wheeler-guide-walker, made sure I had keys, bus-pass etc. with me, got the coat on, and out to the chute, mask on, then to the bus stop…

Yes, another little escape from the lockdown, off to town, without a frown, hope I don’t fall over or down! Hehehe! Back in a while – fingers crossed!

After getting rid of the rubbish bags, I had a long wait for the elevator to arrive.

I thought at the time, I’m going to miss my bus at this rate, but still want to find time to call to see the ILCs (Independent Living Coordinators) Riechsfuhreress and Catwalk Model Warden Deana, and Unterscharfuhreres and Pole-dancer, Julie on the way out.

The lift arrived, and I was down in the first-floor lobby (10:16hrs).

I called to see the Wardens, had a little natter and then made haste to the bus stop. But, I missed the bus, Dang-it!

From this point, I have covered events until I got back to the flats, in a Special Post, called: Inchock’s 4th Escape from the lockdown – to town! This is a link, in case you haven’t seen it, tons of Nottingham City Centre Photos on it!

I spotted in the bus shelter, (Columbo? Huh, not a patch on me. Hehehe!) that someone had been using tissues while sat waiting for the bus and had stuffed the dirty used tissues under the edge of the seats! One was on the floor as well. Coronavirus?

Four and half hours later, I alighted the number 40 bus and nipped into the ILCs office, with a little treat from my escape and shopping expedition. You must read of my utter embarrassment in the Poundland shop. I cringe when recalling it. Tsk!

Up to the flat, to unload the overloaded load of shopping from the three-wheeler. In doing so, I found something I’d forgotten to drop off at the office, What a clot! So, I nipped down with it and came back to get the kettle on and have a wee-wee. Henceforth, between now and getting my head down, I required at least ten more wees! All of the stunted CMA (Cloudy-Mini-Amount) mode, every one of them with a drop of PMAD (Post-Micturition After-Dribble). Blimey, I’ve never used so many PPs in a day before!

I got the bags off of the trolley and emptied the wheeler bag.

What a load of stuff I’d purchased. And I’d only been into two shops as well, the Poundland shop and the Bargain shop!

I split the stuff up and took these shots of the massive amounts of fooder etc. I’d somehow managed to carry home. Smug-Mode-Engaged!

Cleaning and sanitary articles: A washing liquid for black and dark clothes, Zoflora, dr Whittle and a cheap bottle of disinfectants, a fresh-air spray, bleach and a lemon-sherbert (it whiffs very nice, actually) spray.

Some sweety type treats for others and me for Christmas. I got noughat and caramelised almonds for myself, Hehehehe!

BLT ready-made sarnies, Pork Farms pork pies (for tonight’s meal), cornish pasties, instant potatoes, and chicken breast.

After the day’s gadabout and frolickings, I was so weary, but also so hungry. So the medications were taken and I made up this easy and quick to prepare, evening meal. I thought I’d overdone it a bit, and was sure I wouldn’t be able to get through it all, but I did manage most of it. Damn it, I meant to call Jenny, Grrr!

The nosh was given a Taste-Rating of 8.6/10. Blimey, it was grand!

I got the pots washed, and moved the three hats I’d washed on the airer, and was instantly done in, tired, shattered! So stripped off, jammies on, and down in the recliner.

The sleep took a while to come, but when it did, ah, Sweet Morpheus!

Inchcock – Tuesday 18th August 2020: Worra Day!

Tuesday 18th August 2020

Afrikaans: Dinsdag 18 Augustus 2020

04:15hrs: The moment I woke up, the memories of the ‘dodgy’ phone call from last night flooded back. I laid and stewed thinking about it, wondering what to do about it. Thankfully, the need of a wee-wee arose, breaking my train of thoughts. I disentangled my grossly big and wobbly-bellied body from the c1968 recliner. Got Metal Mickey the four-pronged walking stick) and off to the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket), and took an RSP (Reluctant-Sprinkly-Painful) type, wee-wee.

I spotted signs of nocturnal nibbling, Guilt-Mode-Engaged!

No demand for the Porcelain Throne, that was a rarity.

Took the bucket and cleaned and sanitised it, washed the hands and off to the kitchen for the important stuff, a mug of Thompsons Punjana tea.

Took a photo of the morning view, and set about getting the Health Checks sorted.

The sphygmomanometer readings were a little better today, the SYS was down a fair bit, I’m glad to report.

I nearly injected a hypo of Enoxaparin. I stopped myself in time, and wondered how I could have thought to do this in the first place? Still, if one didn’t recognise that you make mistakes, you’d never know the difference between confidence and ability! Too many people in my life have shown over-confidence and conceitedness to con their way up the ladder – but with a minimum of ability. Just thought I’d mention it, like! But when I was last made redundant, the chap they kept on, was caught stealing from them a month or two later. Hehehe!

I got on with updating the Monday blog and despite the occasional attacks from Shaking Shaun, did it in a reasonable time. Pinterested some photos, went on the WordPress Reader.

Jenny called me on the landline and put me into a more stable frame of mind.  When she told me that she had had similar phonecalls, and they would all be cons! Bless her!

I had an updating session on Facebook, then time approached for me to get the ablutions done. And what a mixed bag of a session this one was!

ABLUTIONALISATIONALISTICISATIONING REPORT:

  •  I got through the doorway, without any walking into, banging into, knocking over anything, or losing my balance! Smug-Mode-Partially-Adopted!
  •  Then stubbed my toes against the enamel on the sink riser!
  • Cleaning the teeth went almost painlessly, and with only two dropsies!
  • Bit of a disappointment in the shaving department, five dropsies, and four cuts, but not serious ones. The cartilage in the fingers, mostly to blame.
  • The showering went well, only three-dropsies! The showerhead (which did not land on my toes this time!), and the shower gel bottler (2)
  • The towelling drying off had a couple of close calls, I almost had the things off of the floor cabinet twice, but somehow they rattled together, some fell, but nothing fell on the floor! Great!
  • The medicationalisationing was a lengthy grind today. I’ a smidge worried about using so much of the Phorpain Gel, considering the new warning notes in the boxes, about folks having their body parts burst into flame when they were too close to a heat source. (Not joking!)
  • I had no option but to use the gel on the usual areas, knees, right ankle, wrists and shoulders. But today, the cartilage in the fingers was worse than they’ve ever been, so I gave the fingers on the right hand a good dubbing. I just hope that any visitors today, are not smoking. Hahaha!
  • The furuncles had to be ointmentated, very carefully, to avoid any of the Chlorhexidine cream getting on to Harold’s Haemorrhoids, and conversely, with the Germoloid Cream! Fiddly work! I should have been a Doctor you know. Hahaha!
  • Oiled the ear canals, sprayed eyes for Saccades, and  Chlorhexidine creamed the bruises, with no bother.
  • A bit of a challenge in getting down to the ankle ulcer and Oedema creams. But the long picker-upper and some ingenuity on my part, although I made a right mess of doing it, meant it was easy enough, if complicated. Haha!
  • However, I was in two minds whether it needed doing (the ulcer), cause it looked like it was virtually cleared up now, compared to yesterday? Almost just freckles showing? Although it was still stinging a bit. All confusing!
  • Then, the most painful I’d left until last. (Coward! Tsk!) Little Inchies fungal lesion, applying the Fluconazole hydrocortisone cream was done. It didn’t bother me at all!

Abltionalisationing Advice available, to other multi-ailment sufferers. At cheap rates!

Got the PPs and trousers on, and off to the kitchen to make a brew of Morrison’s Extra Strong Assam Tea!

Stroke of bad luck as I was putting the milk back into the fridge. The damn right leg suddenly went into an involuntary Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance routine! I didn’t go over mind, I grabbed at the fridge door for balance; which caused all of the things, aluminium cooking tray, foils dishes etc. to tumble from the refrigerator top!  Grigglebogsblowit! I spent a long time, trying to reshape some of the trays, and get them back up again. The lost amazing thing about the incident is not the bruise I got on my left leg, how I avoided going over, or my not dropping the milk, but the flaming noise they made! Hehehe! I bet Herbert heard it!

I made another brew of Glengettie Gold this time, to replace the Assam brew that had gone cold as I cleared up the mess. And gingerly got the milk out of the cooler, and even more carefully, put it back!

Herbert started to bang and knock from above! Whether it was due to my noisy calamity, I have no idea.

I took a shot through the balcony window.

At long last, I started to create this blog. And the landline burst forth and flashed again. It was my Brother-in-law, flat breaker, Cancer suffering, going bald after his Chemo, Xyrophobia suffering, over amour propred, Pete.

We had a jolly good natter. Poor lad, his hair is coming out faster after his third session in the nuclear chemotherapy-pump. But he says he enjoyed talking to others in the same boat at the hospital. Last night the bloke woke up feeling sick, and he was. I think this is not a bad thing, as the bodies natural defences are telling him they want to rid the innards of some sort of danger. Easy for me to say, I know, but I believe this.

Pete’s always been a bit of Charles Atlas type, fit, rarely been ill with it (Makes me sick! Hehe, only joking, Pete!) So it’s only natural he’s going to struggle to cope with this cancer. Mind you, he did once fall asleep on the arm of the setee, fell off and broke his neck! Not a lot of people can say that! Hahaha!

Pete mentioned my blog message about the phoney phone call I got, from someone claiming to be from Visa. He also thinks it was a con-job.

We managed to have a laugh between ourselves, said our farewells, and I went to make yet another brew, this time of Glengettie. The tea had gone cold again. Tsk!

Got some Comments answered. Well, the comment, answered. Then did some more updating of this post.

Still no signs of any Porcelain Throne requirements?

I went to make another mug of tea, Glengettie Gold. (I’ve a thirst on today?)

Went out in the balcony and took these three pictures of the parked cars along Chestnut Walk. Not many spaces available, I can’t see any, in fact?

Hello, Herbert’s giving me some more tip-tap knocking again. I wonder what he’s making this time?

The weather is looking a bit threatening. Might be storm clouds, but they are fast-moving in an Easterly direction.

By the time they turn to rain, the clouds might have moved to Skegness. Haha!

Christ! Herbert’s banging and thudding away again now!

I’ll get some garden peas shelled methinks. Perhaps have a fishcake sarnie, peas and tomatoes later? Or not. A rough estimate of peas loss: 20 – Found or retrieved: 8. Humph!

Hell, Herbert! Give us a (swear word removed) rest from the banging and tap-tapping will yer!

I’ll get the meal prepped. Wholemeal bread thins, buttered and filled with tomatoes with a bit of onion salt. Surimi sticks, red potato-fritters, and fresh garden peas. A mini apple pie and lemon yoghourt.

Taste Rating: 6/10.

I  did the washing up, then for once, I eagerly got down in the recliner to watch some TV. The cause of this avidity was I could get the headphones on, thus not have to listen to Herbert’s tap-tap, clunking! I realised that getting to sleep was not going to be an option.

Within a few minutes, the landline flashed. It was the delightful Vampire Nurse Hristina, telling me she would be arriving to take my blood in the morning, twixt 10:00>11:00hrs in the morning. I thanked her and got settled down again.

An episode of Law & Order was starting. Then a summoning to the Porcelain Throne arrived. No rest for Inchy tonight! Krickus!

What a bloody affair it was! Much cleaning and medicationalisationing required. Cribblebogangonies!

I got settled down again. Praying for some rest, anything so precious as sleep would be a sweet bonus.

Ten minutes or so later, I could hardly believe it, the landline lit up and flashed again! It was the QMC’s Warfarin Anticoagulation and Deep Vein Thrombosis Clinic. The kind lady told me to take 2½ Warfarin tonight, and a blood test will be arranged for tomorrow. (I was getting a little confused and muddleheaded!) I thanked her and then pondered a while.

I’d taken 2 Warfarin already, so went to get a half a tablet to take. But, foolishly ended up taking the whole 2½ that she’s mentioned. Thus, I’ve have taken 4½ Warfarin now (I think?). Gragnankles!

Back to the £300, second-hand, c1968, not-working, sickeningly beige-coloured, recliner again. (The exercise will do me some good perhaps? Haha!)

Wrote some notes on the pad to remind me of evenings farce for this diary. Then turned off the TV, and with hopes of sleep, I covered my head and eyes with the thin quilt and then waited for Sweet Morpheus to arrive…

An hour later, having not being able to stop the Thought-Storming, I thought that turning the TV back on might help me get asleep. Ha!

I needed a wee-wee. Struggled out of the rickety recliner again, and to the wet room. Getting back, I gave myself as good a toe-stubbing as possible on the corner of the Ottoman. Granglespithowlations!

A sort of evening (and day really!) that I could have done without!

And to think, a nearby neighbour, in Brookfield Place, two-up two-down terrace housing, right next to the railway viaduct in the Meadows area of Nottingham, nearly seventy years ago, a grand chap called Mr Wright, always used to address me as, ‘Lucky!’

If I’d known then, wot I know now… Hehehe!

Inchcock Today – Tuesday 11th August 2020: A mentally disjointed, diffident day, I must say!

Tuesday 11th August 2020

Welsh: Dydd Mawrth 11eg Awst 2020

04:45hrs: The night’s sleep had various attributions: Gruesomeness (Duodenal Donald giving me a lot of jip), exigences (for wee-wees). And the pesky Thought Storms (in a persistent, repetitive, harrowing series of botherations! inducing fears, worries, shame, self-disgust, etc.).

As I woke, and the realisation of all my hassles and fret-worthy tasks and expectations for the day ahead to challenge me, and flooded my mind. However, something or other, took a grip of the situation (not sure what it was, but it didn’t feel like it was me?), and a degree of unexpected calmness came over me?

  • The thought of having to do the Enoxaparin injections was of no concern to me. (Well, maybe just a bit, I’ve been terribly lucky when vaccinating the Enoxaparin up to now. There has got to come a time when Peripheral Neuropathy Pete, launches one of his involuntary right-leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance routines, Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley kicks off, or Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters fail, just when I’m injecting! Surely?)
  • The hatred for the cock-up with the inhuman and uncaring, Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453, just up from the Lidl store, was even less acute.
  • The volunteer lady fetching my prescriptions for me, hopefully, brought me only an appreciation for her time, consideration, and the lady’s effort to mind.
  • The Sainsbury delivery, and what or how many mistakes I will have made, on that order. I can’t rid myself of being fated to make another cock-up on a food order!

I rose like a flobby, aged, blubbery dreadnought, from the £300, second-hand, rickety, rusty, uncomfortable, sickening, stomach-churningly, revolting, c1968, beige-coloured recliner, bobbled a smidge, but caught my balance, got the four-pronged metal walker, and off to the kitchenette, to do the Health Checks.

The hemadynamometer readings showed the SYS rather high, as to be expected, with the lack of Beta-blockers, thanks to the failings of Carrington Pharmacy, 343-345 Mansfield Rd, Carrington, Nottingham NG5 2DA, Telephone number: 0115 960 5453. I got the Enoxaparin injectionalisationing done.

The snap that is on top of the two after-shots shows yesterdays. It looked to me at first, as if there was a blob of blood coming up, below the scratch mark. Under the skin, that was going to come through as a papule. But now, I look at the photo and was puzzled as to how I thought this in the first place. This mornings injection left only a tiny spot mark. No chance for ant Artwork blotches yet then? Hehehe!

I made a brew of Glengettie Gold. I had a search through the tablet box’s in the medical drawer, and I found a loose Codeine to take, along with the extra Warfarin as instructed. No beta-blockers yet, of course.

I got the Monday post updated, and without much bother from Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters, which made an enjoyable, and content-making change. Smug-Mode-Engaged!

Off course, going into the Smug-Mode, was a mistake! Yet still, a wasn’t getting too annoyed with things. Very unnatural! I gave up, hoping something would come back on their own accord, I remembered I had not yet filled in the Enoxaparin INR log. So I did!

I got the sheet-logs updated with yesterday and this mornings inoculation record.

Then, I perused the new guidelines that were in the box of needles. Six pages of tiny printed wording, that I read-through. Fair enough, I didn’t understand it all, but I tried!

Back to the computer, but it was so slow, then went off again!

And I didn’t get all het-up over it! Honest!

So, I decided to get the ablutions tended to, it was a little early to use the shower yet. But, I took my time teeth cleaning and shaving, and by then it was the permissible golden time of 08:00 hrs, so had a super-long shower.

The teggies-cleaning went well, only the one dropsy, (toothpaste). The shaving produced on one tiny cut, but many dropsies.

The showering was a little mini-disaster. Dropsies: shower-head, carbolic soap (2). A clout on the shoulder, hitting the grab bar, another clip on the shoulder on the shower box, as I retrieved the dropped back-brush from the floor. Shuddering-Shoulder-Shirley nearly had my over, she was in a foul mood in the shower!

The drying -off-session, had a couple of small items knocked off of the floor cabinet. Bending down to retrieve them, and I banged my right arm (Its always the right arm!) on the corner of the cabinet!

The freshening up and medicating was going well. Until I sprayed the antiseptic spray on the cloth, dropped the spray, and lunged down to catch it, thus hitting the right arm on the metal seat frame raiser! In the same spot as what I’d clouted in the shower! Now, I was getting a tiny-bit annoyed with myself! But, still not really angry?

The internet had returned. Joy did flow, and I got on with finishing the Monday updating. Pinterested, some photos, sent the link of via email. Did some Facebooking catch-up. And visited the WordPress Reader section.

The Sainsbury delivery arrived, I pressed the driver in, and my neighbour Malcolm came in at the same time. I got to the front door and awaited the driver’s arrival. Malc got in, saying he’d thought the Sainsbury chap had gone up to the 13th floor? He went to check, and the man was coming down to the 12th.

A decent, pleasant young man. He put the things through the front door for me. I thanked him and slipped him a can of G&T. I got the bags into the kitchenette. Note the Andrex ‘Get-a-Mortage’ toilet rolls? Unfortunately, these are the only ones that my WC can cope with flushing away!

Started to sort the delivery out. I went through the shop’s receipt first.

They had no iced lollies I ordered available. No substitute, which was good enough with me! The cod fishcakes with a fish melt inside them looked good. Hope they are when it comes to cooking them!

I got the red potato and red onion bargees to try. Perhaps the best of the day is the thick-sliced brown Farmhouse bread with Sourdough! This will be the basis for today’s nosh, methinks. I can see, Sourdough bread, thickly covered in butter, with cooked meat in them… tomatoes and egg mayonnaise as a side, and a Bliss lemon mousse to follow, yes that sounds good to me.

I got the fooder stored away.

Fresh stuff in the refrigerator, there was just about room. Haha! Oh, I was also naughty, mightily so! Shame-Mode-Adopted! I got a bottle of Jersey full cream milk!

One thing that I was not happy about, though. The apple pies had had the box corner crushed! Crumbs fell all over when I picked it up. What’s Sainbury’s later motto? ‘Live well for less!’ Well, I got fewer apple pies, but more crumbs. Tsk!

An hour or so later, the intercom rang out again. It was a young man bringing my prescriptions for me. Nice lad, pleasant enough, and about 6’6″ tall! He had to duck to get in the door. Haha! I thanked him and slipped him a can of G&T.

I got the medicines put away, then continued computerisationing, by starting this blog going. At last!

It’s been a busy day for this old codger. Still, it should calm down a bit now. (I hope!)

Half-an-hour later, I was beginning to get weary and tired, I always do in the late afternoon.

The intercom burst forth, I investigated, and it was a delivery via Amazon, it must be the Dettol disinfectants.

The young man came to the door, the chimes with its tune to Dusty Springfields melody od Dusty Springfield’s I only wany to be with you, he handed me the box, and shot off.

I opened the carton, and it was the anticipated Dettol lavender and orange oil scented anti-bacteriological disinfectant.

I checked it and crammed it out of view, and caught up with updating this blog as far as here.

I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea, and I got a dish out of the cupboard that I have not used in ages, dropped it in the sink for washing. Argh! EIBWBBBs (Evil Ironclad Boll-Weevil black biting beetles) My heart sank!

I did feel a fool! They were all dead. Hopefully from the last years’ infestation. Phew!

I had to stop on the computer, the fatigue was too heavy.

I got the nosh sorted out, and realised while doing it, I had not used the Porcelain Throne! This reminded me of last time I went back on the Enoxaparin. And the agony I went through with Constipation Conrad! Methinks, I am in line for a repeat of the solid refusals to move. Criggleblogglesworthisms! The sourdough Farmhouse bread was a nice change to eat. Flavour-Rating: 7/10.

Then got the pots washed, I scrubbed up, and down in the rickety recliner, to inject the Enoxaparin (or Clexane) in the tummy.

It went okay, no shakes, jerking or shuddering to mess things up.

Guess I was lucky there, I think.

Turned on the TV on as a get-to-sleep aid, and I took the medications with some spring water, and a suspicious gurgling sound emanated from the innards, and I felt a slight movement from within?

Within a couple of minutes or so, it became clear what the rumbling was indicating to me.

It had to come!.

No sooner done, and an urgent call to the Porcelain Throne arrived. I stick-walked it to the wet room, and there I stayed:

  • The tiniest movement and I had to suffer the agony of sitting waiting for the action to restart!
  • The crossword book was utilised.
  • I whistled a while.
  • Finally, I was sweating by then with the pain, things moved, so slowly!
  • I found Harold’s Haemorrhoids had been bleeding.
  • Cleaned up and medicated things, at last, it was all over.

A wearier Inchcock returned to his c1968 recliner and plopped into it. Shattered!   Sweet Morpheus came within minutes and stayed to give me an uninterrupted four hours of blessed sleep!

GM05 creamWD 0.0.255 03:55hrs: I been up for about three hours by this time, thanks to sleep not being interested in joining me. Pottering about half-heartedly, I pretended to sort-out the fridge, concentrated on it for a full five minutes. Then toyed at doing the washing up.

And what a ‘Mistake to make that turned out to be. I was depressed, or repressed, or both, overtired and so irritable with myself.

WD 0.0.255 So it did me no good at all when I dropped the step ladder. Thanks to Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failure. The bottom of the aluminium leg made contact with my left knee! Crrrrickey, that hurt!

WDP 1LcbWD 0.0.255 But worse still, as I bent to retrieve the steps, my bottom hit the stack of plastic drawers near the door, pushing me forwards onto the floor, and I got virtually showered with a right load of medical stuff that fell off of the top drawer! A dropper of olive-oil had broken. The light in weight, enoxaparin filled hypos didn’t fall off at all. Int life confusing?

As I collected up the medicines, my irritability level grew to a hyperirritability level when I realised the blister-pack had split! It took me hours to find the spread-all-over tablets and capsule. Well, I didn’t find them all. I could not identify the difference between the Codeine 30g, the Furesomide and the Beta-blockers, they all look the same to me. Some of the Ramipril 40g capsules split open when I accidentally trod on them. (They do that, I’ve noticed before!) The Atorvastatin 80g, which I have to take whole, and struggle at times with them, were all found. Tsk! Some of the Lansoprazole capsules were never seen again? I’d squashed a tube of Germoloid, that was fun cleaning up.

So, I’d gone from a frustrated, miserable, self-hating, loathing-of-life person, into a mental wreck in a matter of minutes! (But this was not to last very long, at all!) More time lost trying to assess what was what. I gave up in the end, sod-it!

2Tue25I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea. And found that I had calmed down, and gone into ‘Accepting-Mode’? Even as I stood there, amid the medical mayhem, mess; There was no guilt, no feeling sorry for myself, or sulking! I think that with Nicodemus playing up, the full message of the pain had not got through to the brain? Oh, course I could be wrong.

I got the stepladders back assemble, up at 2Tue01the window, and took a photo of the morning moon. As I stood there with the window open, I found myself off on a Thought-Storm again. Not a  particularly bad one, mind. More, strongly musing, and casting away the worrying thoughts, and holding onto the better ones. This is not like m2Tue03e, especially after my altercations?

Got the computer booted, and made a quick Thoughts ode to use later. I noticed the brightness coming through the curtains and thought it might be another rainbow, so I got the camera and went to the kitchen window. Wonderful view! Made another brew, of Glengettie tea. Then answered two WordPress comments. Got on with the updating of the Monday post. But the Morrison order arrived and had to be dealt with and sorted out. So I did! The delivery chap came up and left the bags outside. I pointed out the can pf G&T for him, well, his wife, she loves them.

2Tue11

I 2Tue27got the large order in a bag or two at a time, and into the kitchen. Despite the horrendous start to the day, I was feeling good. As I packed away the goods, I realised there had been a lot of substituting and items not delivered.

Shame about crap chicken & mushroom substitute pot noodles, cause the sticky rib one I ordered, is the only one I like, more giving or throwing stuff away! Tsk!

2Tue12I hope their smokey bacon is better tasting than the watery Iceland label rubbish. But I fear the look identical. A high-note, the yhad sent some of the delicious sweet potato Fritters, and I tried a pack of Hovis sourdough muffins. The bananas were a tad green, but not to fret. I got the fridge stuff put away first.

2Tue13It was hard work making the room to get it in, I’d ordered a fair bit. Initially, I was tickled pink when I saw they had some Cox’s apples in stock and ordered a pack. Grobblecluckinghell! Every apple was either bruised, pot-marked or had a wormhole in them! I’m sorry I gave the bloke a can of plonk now! Humph!

2Tue14I found a packet of two frozen Louisiana Chick’n Burgers? I did not recall ordering these, but they’d charged me, so I must have. On closer inspection, it claimes Amazing Chicken Taste, but I could not see any meat in the ingredient list? I’ve never been less interested in any product in my life! Vegetarian or Vegan? Not for me! I dished it in the waste bag, which made just enough room to get the other stuff into the freezer, Haha!

2Tue02The job was done, and another brew made, I might get to drink this one.

The moon looked like it had a red ring around it, so I fetched the camera and took this effort as the day began to break. Not very good, but it shows the ring up?

I began to work on the updating again, and the door chimes rang out there, ♫ I only want to be with you, ♫ tune. I investigated, and it must have been Jenny or Frank, who had dropped off the bleach and Lemon mousse for me. Jen had ordered some for me on her Asda order, she is good to me. ♥

2Tue08aI got the ablutions tended to. I could hardly believe hoe the body had changed so quickly. The arms and legs had positively shrunk! But the already overbearing stomach was much bigger? The toenails keep getting longer and more painful. Anyroad, the session was another good one. Only two little nicks shaving. I did cut the gums a fair few times when I was doing the teeth, but that was all down to Shuddering Shoulder Shirley. Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding, but I’ve had it a lot worse this. Harold’s Haemorrhoids were only trickling blood. All in all, a surprisingly decent session!

2Tue21Some more updating (will I ever get it done?) I took a snap of the shadowy bottom field. Funny how the Nikon seems much better at taking this sort of shot in auto mode. The Panasonic is not so good.

I tried for an evacuation on the Porcelain Throne. Failed again. Tsk!

Herbert upstairs is busy, dril2Tue16ling away, I wonder what he’s making today.

Then, the Iceland delivery man arrived. Not such a big order, and even less with the out of stock various loaves and things.

Huh! I’ve just cancelled the weekly bread and 2Tue28milk stuff from the Government, and now they have no bread delivered from Iceland! Just look at the list of have-nots-in-stock! It’s a grand job that Jenny is doing for me. I shouldn’t have to worry about desserts until the next Morrison delivery arrives in three weeks, though. I’ll try to get some bread from the mobile shop on Friday, I’ve enough until then. I’ve put the sourdough muffins in individual bags in the freezer, having one tonight perhaps, I’ve left that one out in the 2Tue23kitchen.

I got the updating done at last. Just one of those days, interruptions and Whoopsiedanhleplops galore! Went on the Pinterest, then the WordPress reader. Then Facebooking. It suddenly dawned on me, the ‘Hum’ doesn’t sound as loud as usual today. I wish it was 2Tue22always like this. Went out on the balcony to take a shot of the wonderful clouds. I like this one.

Those amazing cloud formations!

WD 0.0.255A I made another brew and started on this post. I noticed when I used the rather poor quality 2Tue25snap, I must have caught my forefinger in the farcical furore earlier with the steps and medicine avalanche. Hehehe! Hey-ho! I’m glad I didn’t lose it when I took the tumble.

All fine now, anyway. Just curious to know hat Herbert is clanging, banging and drilling away making. It must be a big model, whatever it is. Herbert might be in lockdown, giving him more time to make his models. Good for him, if this is so.

2Tue24I had a quick search for the latest Coronavirus figures available, Nottingham and local East Midlands cities, and the UK.

It seems that Nottingham City was having things a little better than those around nearby lately?

Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire are the worst hit.

I’m getting drained mentally now. Poor old twit! I went to arrange and get the nosh sorted out.

2Tue34Sokowlo pork hot dogs, fries, cheese discs, a mix of cherry tomatoes; the foul, bitter-tasting Moroccan ones from Iceland, and the Netherlands ultra-tasty sweet ones from Morrisons. Chestnut mushrooms, a well-bruised Morrison’s Cox’s apple, a lemon mousse dessert (having to eat the Ski mousse first, as they are shorter-dated than the Asda ones that Jenny got for me) The sourdough muffin, I’d Marmited, and they went down extremely well! I used one of the individual Marmite pots I bought from Amazon, tasty, and just enough! Flavour rating: 8/10!

WDP 12bGot the washing up done, and as expected, sleep was not forthcoming easily. Much hogwash half-watched on the TV. No nodding off and waking again tonight, though. Looking back, when I did nod off, very late in the evening, at least I slept right through for, wait for it… six-hours! Great!

Inchcock Today – Monday 4th May 2020: Hopes fade – but not to worry, they weren’t all that large in the first place. Hehehe!

GM2turq03 WD 150.0.100 01:25hrs: The much-hated all-around ‘Hum’ noise sounded for forceful than ever, as I was abruptly roused into a simulated form of life. Then, I so many things became noticeable by their strangeness and unusuality. And Confusion Conrad took over my thought processing for a short while, well, a fair bit of time actually! Which in my responses to, caused me a few injuries, but at least woke me up entirely. Hehehe! (Not funny at the time, mind!)

WD 150.0.100 I felt the chilly draft coming in through the wide-open balcony door. What?

WD 150.0.100 As I moved to get my lumbering wobbly-body out of the recliner to shut the doors, I realised I had all sorts of weird and wonderful things all over and around me! Pairs of washed socks, a bath towel, a bottle of mineral water, and packets of instant mashed potatoes and other stuff?

WD 150.0.100 Throwing the things off of my body to get to close the door quickly, I knocked many things off of the Ottoman.

wd 150.0.100A And stubbed the end of my foot against the metal swivel chair leg. The pain from the overgrown toenails was excruciating!

WD 150.0.100 wd 150.0.100AI got to the sliding doors, and hurriedly closed it. Trapping my right thumb! Argh!

I turned around, and the room looked like it had just been bombed! What the hell had happened? I could only think of one explanation. Nocturnal Phantasma Wanderings, yes, sleepwalking. It had to be somnambulism of some kind, indeed. I recalled yesterday’s moments of being temporarily out-of-it, was this a follow on?

As the scene was identified and the realisation that I was not dreaming sank in, then I started to panic. “What other acts of silliness had I unconsciously done in the rest of the flat?” I was about to set off to investigate, and the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived suddenly and urgently (I thought). So off to the wet room, which looked like I’d left it last night, thankfully.

WD 150.0.100 But Constipation Konrad ensured nothing was evacuated this time. Rock Solid! I did manage a weak dribbling wee-wee, though. You watch, in a few hours, I bet things change again, and Trotsky Terence gets the upper-hand. Tsk!

A quick clean up and I nervously started my search for any damage from my (assumed), noctambulations, in the kitchen.

1Mon001WD 150.0.100 I found that I’d washed a shirt and left it soaking in the bowl in the sink? The place looked like a right mess and unkempt, but this is normal. Humph! I got the shirt rinsed, fabric softened, all done, wrung and hung.

The mystery of why and how the socks were found already hanging on the rail, was not of interest to me at this time. The mind can only cope with so much.

1Mon01I got the kettle on the boil, got a mug prepped with a Thompson Punjana tea bag, and tool a photographicalisation of the morning sky, with the moon partially covered with clouds. I can use this snap later as a background for a thought’s graphic. The mind kept jumping from one thing to another topic, always.

1Mon02wd 150.0.100A As I got the milk from the depths of the refrigerator, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down, and the jug slipped from my grasp. I was impressed with myself, how I managed not to drop the pottery! Then cleaned up the milk form my naked stomach, jammy bottoms and off of the floor. Made the brew, took the medications, olive-oiled the eardrums, sprayed Saccades eyes, and made up a black waste bag.

It has been a hectic morning so far. Whoopsies, Accifauxpas, frustrations and confusion. An everyday start, really for me. I do hope that the NHS R4Vad people look seriously into the questionnaire results, on Vascula Dementia, cause I’m beginning to fret a bit over my recent mind-fumblings.

Got on the computer, faffled about on different things, no concentration this morning now. I found an email from Jenny. She has got the lemon bleach for me. Also, she’d bought some lemon mousse which she knows I’ve been struggling to find, bless her, how kind. I got the money and wrapped it in a bag, put the plonk and bits I’ve got for her and Frank, and into a carrier bag. Put it near the door to remind me, when Jen rings to let me know she’s coming,

I’ll put it outside for her to collect as we swap bags. Lovely! ♥

This reminded me about cancelling the Government food parcel, so I got the address off of the letter and went on to the Government site to follow the instructions and change things. It said to reregister and click ‘Yes’ on “Do you have a way of getting essential supplies delivered” Will stop the supply. So I did.

1Mon05b

I was pleased with the ease of getting it done. Smug-Mode-Utilised! Haha!

Both camera batteries were showing low, so I got them on charging. I got on and updated the gloomy Sunday diary. Nicodemus was acting kind towards me, but Duodenal Donald and Toothache Tim were beginning to bother me. Can’t win them all!

Went onto Pinterest, then WordPress Reader and comments, well, comment.

0530hrs: I went on another Porcelain throne visit, but that was a failure too! Things felt Rock-Solid in there. Oh, dearie me! So, I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea.

1Mon04a

What a surprise when I saw the fog!

I made a start on this blog; then I had to go on CorelDraw to catch up with the graphicalising.

1Mon06The doorbells chimed out, it was Jenny, who’d left the bleach and lemon Mousse in a bag for me outside the door. She hadn’t warned me she was on the way, so I hadn’t put the payment, wine and nibbles out for her to collect. I called her on the phone and thought I’d be able to ask her my phone number which I forgot and lost the book with the list in. Klump! She was busy, so I didn’t ask her with asking, just thanked her, and she said no hurry. Wonderful woman!

I carried on with the CorelDrawing.

Five hours later, (12:30hrs) Humph!, I phoned ILC, Obersturmführeresses and Catwalk Model Warden Deana. I had to bother her, to get Caretaker Robert’s telephone number, that was lost with the notepad of numbers. Tsk! She didn’t give it to me but kindly asked what I wanted him for, and she passed on the message, asking him if he could call to collect some bags I could not carry to the waste chute. Walking is currently the at it most painful, with the toenails etc.

The blood nurse is not coming until the 12th; I will beg her then to phone the clinic for me to see if anything can be done to assist me in getting the nails cut.

I started to make a template in advance, on WordPress and CorelDraw.

Late now, I should be getting the meal prepared cheesy potatoes and, erm, er, maybe, perhaps. I’ll have a look at what’s available int fridge and freezer.

WD 150.0.100 Ah, that changes the plan! The Leicester grated cheese, with a use-by-date of 27th May printed on it, has gone mouldy! So, agravannoying!

13:40hrs: Hello, the innards are telling me I need to use the Porcelain Throne again. But I dare not, in case the caretaker calls. Oh, dear!

Ah, well, another think on the fodder finding for my food. I have some halloumi cheese sticks, a packet of BBQ skewers, and I can have them with some frozen peas, methinks. Mind you, I’m not hungry, really, now. I was tired, yes.

I’ll have a go on Facebooking, while I wait for Robert to arrive. No, No, I won’t! I’ll see if I can get an order in for Morrisons, I could get an order without waiting for three weeks this time. I’ll give it a try!

WD 150.0.100 Got all confused, the delivery pass was not accepting my card, the same one I pay for the Groceries with! After much kerfuffle, I gave up. But, I still got an order in, for three weeks. Original order is coming tomorrow morning, and Iceland later. At least I’ve got some batteries on the list; if they arrive. I can listen to the radio in the wet room again.

I went to check on the bags at the door, and they were all gone. Bar a bag of glass jars) I struggled to get the wheeler-guide going, and went to limped down to take the bag of recyclable glass jars, and they had gone? I was a bit concerned about the caretaker, if it was him who fetched the bags for me, was not communicating with me? I got down and found him, he was a new face, (I hope Robert is on holiday and not poorly) and he had not fetched the bags, a ‘woman’ did?

With well-aching feet and toes, I limped to the lift, and dropped off the bag for Jenny at her door and rang the bell. She’ll sort out who deserves them for me.

1Mon06bThen I got the ablutions sorted out. Another mystery, but a nice-one: Shaking Shaun, Nicodemus’s nerve-end failures, Anne Gyna and Dizzy Dennis were all so kind to me. The dropsies were only six, and little bleeding. Which was pleasing, but the toes, feet and Arthur’s knees were bothersome.

1Mon06CGoing to the kitchen afterwards, I saw the change of getting a moody-photo in, using the strong evening sunshine and the shadows. I did notice that both legs had gone thin, which in contrast to my wibbly-wobbly gross stomach hanging out all over the place, which gave me the guilts.

1Mon06aI got the meal prepared and served up, and a decent one it was. Those naturally Imperfect chips are the best of the frozen ones I’ve ever had. Overall, a flavour-rating of 705/10.

WD 150.0.100 Again, the sweet-Morpheus refused to come. Sleep deprivation seems to be the thing nowadays, with the lock-down. I bet a lot of others have it as well. Especially the poor devils with neighbours above who play music and watch TV at full-blast every night! They should do what I do, and invest in a pair of headphones so that others can get some sleep, and they can still watch their telly.

WD 150.0.100I watched the TV and nodded-off, woke, watched some TV and nodded-off… for hours and hours repeatedly, before finally getting off to blissful sleep.

WD 150.0.100 Then had to get up when the innards started rumbling, to visit the Throne Room. I struggled and failed to pass again.

Back in the c1968 recliner, I changed to a radio station, some classical music was found, and slowly but surely, the Thought-Storms abated, and I was drifting off, at last…

WD 150.0.100 The landline burst forth its ring and flashed. It took me a few seconds to respond, I struggled out of the chair, banged my elbow on the Ottoman as I nearly lost my balance; silently swore, and two paces to the phone… and it stopped ringing! Grobblecockski!

I got back down again, and it took ages before I’d unwound enough to get some sleep!

WDPrightWD 150.0.100 Again, I was on the verge of slipping into bliss, and the Pillow-Shaker Fire alarm activated! False alarms have occurred a lot of times. The NCH bloke said it is when someone on Blue-tooth on a similar band is using something on their internet or ethernet, laptop, computer or Ipad thingies? Anyway, I had to get up just to check, but there was no alarm on-site or Fire Brigade attended.

I gave up, got up, knocked the bottle of water off of the Ottoman, and did some imitation cleaning in the kitchen. Hey-Ho!

Marie, Australian sex-pot and TFZer!

GM black03:45hrs: I stirred into an unwilling simulation of life, and immediately the wee-wee demands arrived. This time, I was careful in my manipulations at getting out of the £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working recliner. That’s the uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner. That xyrophobia-suffering, chaetophorous, anti-epilation Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting when I was in the Stroke Ward. And he fitted new CCTC cameras, then searched for my valuables, which he found and took. (I still haven’t got all of the money back yet, nine-months later).

I avoided any Accifauxpas or Whoopsiedangleplops guilefully, I thought. Off I limped to the wet room, and still managed to arrive in plenty of time. Smug-Mode-Adopted! The action was again swift and rapid, perhaps a more difficult evacuation, but far less hurtful, which pleased me. Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding overnight, so a clean and medicating session was needed. (Always a painful, tender and delicate job, Tsk!)

WD 0.0.0 (1) New PP’s, a wash of the hands, that encapsulated my dropping the soap at least three times! Yes, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters were playing up a tad already. This didn’t bode well for any physical tasks, making the meals or decent typing for today. But, you never know with my ailments, many come and go at their leisure for varying lengths of time. The important thing, was no Dizzy Dennis, Saccades Sandra, Anne Gyna, Reflux Roger, Shuddering Shoulders Shirley, Toothache Tim, Earache Eric, or Memory blanks had been of any bother, yet. Even Arthur Itis and Duodenal Donald were only playing at it this morning. The toes and feet were, of course, making up for the absence of effort from their fellow ailments. Hahaha!

To the kitchen, took the medications, and made a brew.

Got the computer on with a degree of assiduity and diligence. Then got on with the updating of the Saturday diary. Despite Nicodemus’s problems, I pressed on and got it completed. Emailed the links. Put some bits on Pinterest. Then, I went on the WordPress Reader section. Next, I read the comments, and one from Tim Price from New Mexico, made me laugh out loud. He’d made a parody of my mentioning a stand-alone wee-wee in Friday’s blog. I’ll show it here, it was hilarious for me! Hehehe!

It goes to Green Day’s tune “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”

“In the Wet Room of Broken Wees”

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone

I’m standing at the throne
Trying to wee-wee but I can’t go
The is some broken wind
I’m locked down and I wee-wee alone

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone

Inchy’s the only one the hangs there with me
Besides my heart, the sock-glide gives me a beating
I wish someone would come in and assist me
Until then I wee-wee alone

I’m standing on my feet
In the wet room of broken wees
Although I never sleep
I’m in the Twighlight Zone
And I wee-wee alone.

7Sun01I went on Facebooking, The Troll Free Zone, then the Winwood Heights page.

Where I published some photographs of when the nightmare upgrading was taking place. Also, one from the morning of 20th March 2018, 23:45hrs, when I opened the curtain to see a pigeon asleep and pooping at the same time on the scaffolding. I didn’t-half scare the poor thing! Har-har!

WD 0.0.0 (1) Then, it was time for another brew, as soon as I’d made the mug of Glengettie tea, the need for the Porcelain Throne came again. Off to the wet room. Where nothing moved, rock-solid! Despite the wind and bubbling innards? Another sign of problems to come?

WDP A01cWD 0.0.0 (1) I fear that when I returned to the kitchen, I had a sudden and mysterious, unexpected attack of psychasthenia. The mind did not function in any way like usual, I was ultra-vague in thought, and my balance went! Although this only lasted for perhaps a minute, it left me with feelings of neurasthenia, and it was disquieting, to say the least. I could not even press the alarm alert button, although I’m now glad I didn’t, for everything came back into logic and vision another minute later. I felt as if I had dreamt the whole thing, and it hadn’t actually happened. Maybe it didn’t? Yes, it did!

7Sun03I gingerly made another brew, to replace the one that had gone cold. My brain was working well again because I remembered to make and take some Macrogol powder, to tackle Constipation Conrad’s resistance to movement. I took a photo of the sky and the amazingly appealing clouds, although they bode rain for later on.

7Sun02As I went to close the thick-framed, letting-in-rain, light & view-blocking kitchen window, I thought I heard some weird grinding noise from I knew not where. I took a blind shot of Chestnut walk below, but there were no signs of anything that might have made the sound I heard?

WD 0.0.0 (1) I decided after the mug of tea went cold again, to get the ablutions done. It will be a long job this time. I didn’t shave yesterday, so I need to take extra care not to have any cuts. And the showering time today, I’ll make the weekly deep-medicationalisationing session. Tubes and inserts already readied. I’ll use the time to think about what to do regarding the funny turn I had. But I feel fine now.

Put the computer into sleep mode,  and hobbled off to the wet room. Back in a bit, hopefully. Hehe!

WDP01bAll done, and I am astoundingly, mind-bogglingly amazed! No, I say, No toe-stubbing, No knocking anything off of the shelves, no sock-glide battle (fair enough, I’m still not wearing socks cause of long nails), only two tiny nicks shaving, and only four dropsies. A safety record for ablutionalisationing that will never be beaten, indeed?

I got freshened up and medicated again, and set about making the 71’s nosh. All done and delivered. Then made a start on my meal.

The crispy fish balls in batter with salt & vinegar. Some onions, and mushy peas. I’d forgot to get the bread out of the freezer, so I’ll go without. No chips or potatoes, as I ate a lot of made-to-much, cheesy potatoes, I made for Josie.

WD 0.0.0 (1) Updated this blog a bit, then went to check on the fodder cooking. During which, Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shoulder Shirley both had a go at me. I got the meal served eventually, turned off the computer and sat there, right arm, shoulder and leg shaking, convulsing and vibrating so much, that if I was wearing false teeth, I might have lost them! Tsk! Not a good day, healthwise!

7Sun04cGot the meal prepped and served up, into the recliner, got the headphones (I’ve taped them up so I can still them, but they are not functioning properly since I sat on them and broke them. Humph). Still, better than nothing. I thought I’d coped well with the preparations and serving, and by the time I was ready to take the tray through, there were many odd bits and sploshes all over the kitchen that will need cleaning up later. Gnash-and-spit!

7Sun05WD 0.0.0 (1) Another bit of a blank spell. I must have nodded off. I woke up, the TV on, the headphones on the next chair? The tray was amazingly, still balanced on my bulbously bloated stomach and spindly legs, with much fodder still on it.

WD 0.0.0 (1) In the waste bin, was many tissues (no blood on any), the pot of yoghourt, the lemon tart, the unopened can of clementine juice, and the note pad and pen? I couldn’t give a Taste Rating, cause I can’t remember eating it. Not that I ate a lot of it anyway.

I forced myself up, and precariously wobbled to the kitchen and got the pot washing done. I noticed that all the saucepans and cutlery from cooking had already been washed and on the drainer. The messes on the floor from the earlier Nicodemus-controlled dropsies had not been cleaned up. I think I felt confused, yet disinterested.

I finished the pots, retrieved the full can of clementine juice and pen from the waste bin (the notepad was ruined, wet and unreadable, so I left that).

I settled in the chair again and pondered over just what had been going on. Why had I not eaten much? (Ageusia?) Why throw the full can of clementine juice, the full pot of yoghourt, and pen and pad away? Why? How? When?

It’s been a mentally-challenging day. Yet apart from feeling tired and drained, I had a certain nippiness of mind at this moment. Then the Thought Storms began, fears, worries, and tension, but without the usual self-blame and criticisms, which was very welcome!

Unanticipatedly, and as never known before, the storm of emotions stopped abruptly. Then the memories came flooding in from the brain, but not the bad ones, only the good and seemingly doctored ones. Good heavens, I like that!

GM00303:25hrs: I woke after a nightmare-ridden kip. I lay a few moments trying to recall anything about the dreams, but only the fact that they were about my past failures and mistakes came to mind, nothing concrete, no details or facts.

WD 50.0.0 Then, as the brain slowly engaged gear, yesterday’s memory blanks were pondered over. I decided, that as soon as, well, if, things get back to normal again, I must get in touch with the Vascular Dementia Group, if I can find their details, and mention the increase in the ‘Out of it’ episodes I’m having. I was more worried about it, this time, for some reason. Within seconds, the recently regular need for the Porcelain Throne arrived and distracted my thinking.

I painfully disentangled my surprisingly twisted and yet sprawled over everywhere humongous body from the recliner. I knew walking was not going to easy today (Well, when is it?). RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis), the feet souls and the overgrown toenails, all gave me hassle on the way to the wet room. I did notice that the nibble pots from last night, seem top have been untouched. Nibbled-less?

WDP001However, the session went well, indeed, much easier than yesterday. Barely any bleeding from the rear end and Little Inchies fungal lesion had not been bleeding at all! Wonder-fabulous! Not as hurtful, and over quicker too! Oh, Yes!

I cleaned up and medicated things, and hobbled, taking extreme and concentrating on not to get any toe-stubbings, to the kitchen.

6Sat01There was a slowness to my thoughts this morning. Not necessarily a bad thing, I think.

Before I turned on the light, I spotted the partial moon through the thick-framed, light and view-blocking window. I got the kettle on made a brew of Glengettie Gold, and took a photo as best I could of the morning 6Sat02view.

Then I decided to get the handwashing sorted out. This is an example of what happened yesterday, the mind kept changing priorities and forgetting what was going on before. I got the togs done, wrung and hung, and the tea had gone cold!

WD 50.0.0 So, I made another and remembered belatedly to take the morning medications. Realising, as I got the pill-dispenser out, that I had not taken last nights doses! This was not a very promising start to the day, Konrad Confusion seemed to be in charge again, not Inchcock!

Sorry if this sounds confusing, but it was to me, baffling!: When I got on the computer, I even jumped between tasks, it was all very disconcerting. Instead of getting on with the urgent need to update the Friday post first, I got the photo’s uploaded, resized and then instead of putting them in yesterday’s diary, I started to create the template for this blog? In the middle of doing this, I checked the Emails. Found one I’d missed somehow, from Jenny, and wrote a reply. Then, not back to this blog, or the Friday one, oh, no! I made up a Thought graphic on CorelDraw. I needed to get a grip!

I started the updating on Friday’s blog.  Pressed on, and got it done with relative ease, but still with problems that delayed me somewhat. This was because Nicodemus, Saccades-Sandra, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley and Shaking Shaun, were all being so kind to me, too. No, the addled-brain is the guilty party this time!

I got it finished and tried to concentrate harder. I got the link emailed off. Put some bits on Pinterest. Went on the WordPress reader. Then did some Facebooking, and commenting.

6Sat03Back to the Porcelain Throne again. Although Arthur Itis was getting a little painful again, I think the knees were looking much better than yesterday. The faces in the patellas had morphed changed. Hehehe! The evacuation was another decent one too! Still, Constipation Conrad drove, but far less bothersome.

6Sat05aI got a wash, and off to the kitchen, to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

I investigated the options for the nosh later. I had a check on the freebie potatoes and found they had roots growing out of them. So I removed them, it took me a while to get them sorted out. I got them cooking in the crock-pot on a low setting. Added some vinegar and salt and cleaned up the counter. Made the brew, took the midday med’s a little early, I know, but at least I remembered them this time. Hahaha!

The plan was to have them with some peas and the steak that is on its last use-by date in the fridge.

WD 50.0.0 I spotted some dogs walking their owners in the bottom field, and went to fetch the camera. But, could I find it? No! Bemused, I fossicked around, getting more and more frustrated with myself. I found the old camera eventually, not the new one yet, and gathered it and returned to the kitchen window.

WDP 003lrWD 50.0.0 WD 50.0.0A The bottom field was devoid of any tellurians of any type by then. The tea had gone cold! I’d left the hot water tap running, and that was cold! And I felt a right twit then! I’d had the Panasonic camera in my pocket all the time! As scatterbrains, simpletons and schnooks go, I must be in line for some sort of medal or award by now, surely?

WDP Dec 26bWD 50.0.0 I made another brew, Morrisons Extra Strong Assam this time, and returned with it to the computer. I’d sat down for only a few seconds, with the aim of getting this blog further updated, and Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shaking Shirley and Saccades Sandra all came at me at the same time! They seemed to be working in unison?

WDPH01LHowever, after having me holding on to the cupboard to prevent my toppling out of the chair, and thinking how lucky I was, that this didn’t happen while I stood up; within a couple of minutes, all three had departed my body!

What’s going on here?

6Sat10The all-around Hum, suddenly grew in volume again, just like yesterday. Annoying, enough to drive one mad!

I was sat there typing, listening to the mind-destroying ‘Hum’, and a few clangs from above, and I am sure I heard a noise that sounded like things clattering to the floor from within the flat. Off to investigate. I got distracted from my search when I checked the hallway. When I saw a large official-looking envelope near the door, I became twitchy. wrought-up, and adrenalised. I had no option but to open it straight away to find out what it was all about. Which I did!

WD 50.0.0 It was a dirty great 20 page A4 two-sided Questionnaire from the Vascular Dementia R4VaD (Whatever R4VaD is). Twenty pages!

This is going to be a challenge I thought I’d better make a start on it.

Back in a bit…

I was side-tracked for the first stand-alone wee-wee of the day. (It had to come, Haha!) Wot-a-shocker it was too! Or rather, wasn’t! It turned out to be a TBKIWAWBC (The-Bladder-6Sat15Know-It-Wants-A-Wee-But-Can’t!) version.

An hour -and-three-quarters later, I’d got the questionnaire filled in. Phew!

I espied some dog walkers as I was doing the paperwork, and thought I’d try to take some snaps of them. But it was a rushed affair, and I didn’t really zoom in enough, but still, I tried my bestest.

6Sat14

I gathered the black bags together, put some on the Trolley-Guide, and got the large envelope sealed and took it with me to post it. I’m not going to risk walking out with the stick like the other day, too risky! A bit of a messy job hobbling with five bags, pushing the walker, and trying not to crease the envelope up. I got the waste chute utilised and rid myself of the bags.

I got down in the lift and went to walk through Winwood Court for the first time for a few weeks.

6Sat28

Aha, blocked-off! Fair enough. So I made my way back through Woodthorpe Court and out into the sunshine on Chestnut Walk, to limp up to the post box.

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

6Sat22Plenty of yobboes about on their bikes and skateboards up and down the road. Many residents coming and going in taxis too. The sunshine was reasonable, a breeze helped.

I stopped a moment or two for some pain relief and took a snap of my beloved Woodthorpe Court from outside the Extra Care Winwood Court.

Made my way back, and could not believe how long it had taken me to walk a few hundred yards to the post-box and back!

WD 50.0.0 Scotty opened the door for me to get in, and I was so glad he was there, cause I’d not taken the key fob with me!

I know, I know! I’m a Yolop!

Still, Scotty and I had a little natter from a distance. Really enjoyed it, nowt serious and we had a laugh or two! He’d had to take a seat, to recover from carrying hos booze from the taxi. Hahaha! Jealousy showing up hear! Hehe!

6Sat24I got the one-day out-of-date beef in the oven. And for the next forty minutes or so updated this diary.

I closed everything down, drained but worried cause I thought I’d forgotten something important I had to do? Grobbledangerations!

6Sat28I still do now.

Got the nosh sorted out. Last of the fresh spuds, steak, a can of vegetables sausages and beans. The steak reminded me of when Dad went out into the yard and worked on his shoe mending cobbling lark. But he had an easier job to cut through the leather! Hehe! Rating 6/10.

I got the pots washed, took the medications, and settled in the recliner to watch a film on the TV. Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shuddering Shirley, and constant Thought Storms ruined things.

GM cap01b WD 128.0.0 04:25hrs: I woke up, with what I thought was perhaps the most urgent ever need for a wee-wee! I sort of rolled out of the £300, second-hand, none-working, c1968 rickety recliner, and fell forwards to the sound of a thud-thud, as the poor old knees hit the deck, and oaths flowed, and panic gripped me! The pain was almost ignored, in my desperate efforts to get to the bucket in time!

WDP 03LWD 128.0.0 It seemed to take an aeon to get to my feet again, and I made a frantic lunge for the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket), as I whipped the jammie bottoms down. Ever felt a right fool? I did! Absolutely nothing happened for a couple of minutes! Then slowly but surely, I felt the progress being made through my innard’s tubes, as the pain increased as the liquid neared its escape hatch, Little Inchy. It still took more time, some grimacing, and forceful encouragement to get things started.

I burst forth with several viable verses of Argh, argh, argh! Arghhh! Argh! As the pathetic yet so uncomfortable trickle took a few more minutes, and barely covered the bottom the of the bucket! Mmm? I must have another urine infection. What with Constipated Konrad in charge at the rear end, movements were a problem already, without this as well. Tsk! Wallupfestations, Finglegloberisations, and Dangwangles! and a Humph as well!

WD 128.0.0 The final insult, if that is the right word, Little Inchies fungal lesion started to pour blood! It squirted upwards and went over the nightshirt. However, a soothing few words from EQ; “Don’t fret over this, mate, or what’s coming soon will really get to you!” Actually calmed me down a bit, and by the time I’d limped carefully with wide-apart little steps, to the wet room, things were being accepted without too much annoyance. I went through the cleaning and medicationalisationing with the usual gritted teeth, but not feeling sorry for myself. True! The applying of the Betamethasone corticosteroid cream, was actually less painful than it usually is?

I cleaned up, took off the shirt and changed into new PPs. Hobbling at a steady rate as well, to the kitchen, I found I was singing to myself, mostly Billy Fury and Rick Nelson stuff, as I got the kettle on. (Important things first, you know!) I even felt a smidge proud of my decision to put the teabag pots on the floor, so I could get at least some exercise in. Haha!

I took the medications and made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea. As I was taking it into the junk-computer room, it was as if someone had poked Duodenal Donald into life, and he was not in a happy mood at all with me. I returned to have a few good swigs of the inept, none-effective Peptac medicine, in a most likely failed attempt to ease the stabbing pains from Donald. I decided to take a Macrodol as well, cause I reckon that Constipation Conrad is still having a go at me, no signs of any Porcelain Throne needs yet, and this is very rare.

I had to stop on the computer to get the ablutions done in case the Nurse arrives early to take the blood sample.

Off to the wet room. A marvellous start, I must say!

1Mon05aWD 128.0.0 I picked up the clock I dropped into the WC yesterday, off of the shower chair. And dropped it again! It’s now in a few more pieces. Well, Gruelling-Gromble-Garblisations! With a double Tsk!, thrown in! The teeth cleaning went injury-free. The shaving brought a couple of minor cuts. Dropsies were the carbolic soap. (Well, I am using the carbolic longer than usual, and it’s getting smaller all the time, Hehe!) The razors (3), the Foam spray, and towel were the only other dropsies, so, not too bad.

WD 128.0.0 I did struggle in getting the smaller PPs on and banged the shin, knees and elbow as I flailed about to keep from going over from Dizzy Dennis’s input. But, I’ve had far worse.

Back to the computer, and the landline rang. It was Jenny, bless her, asking how I was, and if I needed anything ordering on her Sainsbury’s order, she’d managed to get through. I asked for a bottle of bleach, not that I am desperate now, but you never know! Bless her ♥!

2Tue02I decided before starting on the computer, to get some cleaning up done. Smug-Mode Adopted! I made a start by doing the handwashing, not a lot, but needed all the same.

2Tue01I used the unexpectedly delivered from Morrisons, Comfort fabric conditioner. The bottle indicated it was Intense. Which is possibly why I ordered it, all of six weeks ago!

WD 128.0.0 Gawd, it funked something awful! I can’t believe that anyone would put such a disgusting scent like this in any washing product. Eurgh! I had to get my nose right in the spout to smell anything. Then when I did, I regretted it! Foul! I added some lemon disinfectant in it, but I’ll 2Tue08anot give it away, it wouldn’t be fair on anyone to do that and have their clothes stinking of it! No wonder it was on Special Offer!

Then, I moved the moving carpet back to its’ proper position and tried to straighten it.

2Tue07Then the real challenge. The stumper, the pitfall or bugaboo! The nerve-testing, pain-giving task of cleaning the electric fire surround! I purposely did it now, then if I could not get back up off of the floor again, at least the nurse might be coming shortly and might rescue me, as Nurse Hristina had to do a fortnight ago! I didn’t do a good job of it, but at least it looked better than before.

I sensed that Little Inchies fungal lesion was bleeding again, so when the washing was done, wrung, and hung, I went into the wet room to have a look at the lesion. No bleeding as such, just a tiny bit of leaking.

2Tue09WD 128.0.0  But, by gum, the legs were looking particularly welmish, yellowish? The knees anyway. Not surprising really, they have been through it this morning. They can be vagarious in appearance at the best of times. The drop out of the chair onto them, then the ablutionary batterings they took. Tsk! I could be arrested for cruelty to Arthur Itis’s Rheumatoid knees, I think! Hahaha!

The intercom rang and flashed, it was the Phlebotomy nurse. I think her name is Sheila, she’s been before, and a cheery soul and gal. We had a patient natter while she took the blood patiently. She soon had done. Bless her cotton socks! ♥ I handed her the things that had been duplicated with the unexpected Morrison order arriving a day after the Iceland one had. Shortcake, tomatoes and something else, I forget now. But they were all only going to go off if I’d kept onto the, so she did me a favour.

2Tue21I got on with updating this blog to here, then went on the TFZer Facebooking to catch up. Then on the WordPress Reader section.

Looked at the latest figures for Coronvirus in Nott’s, from the Morringham Post site.

2Tue11Had cracking Dennis Dizzy spell while I was doing this.

Once again a violent. Unsettling but a very short one. Unnerving.

There is a programme on TV tonight, about the Flu Pandemic of 1918. If I stay awake long enough.

WD 128.0.0 An Email from ‘Zoom’ who are running the video lesson for the Diatbeted course arrived. I couldn’t get anything to work at all. Got in the email, I clicked the link, pressed save file and got this screen up. But didn’t have a down arrow on the above where it told me to click on the icon. Lost now! I do not think I will be able to join them in the morning at 09:30 hours as instructed.

2Tue22

2Tue13WDP 003lrI’ll see how it goes when I try to get on in the morning.

Life is a frustrating bind nowadays!

The session was a repeat of the last one, but shorter in duration, painful.

The pins (legs) had calmed down a lot. Clopidogrel affects had lessened from earlier.

2Tue14Got a rather special meal. Sweet potato fritters, tomatoes, skewer thingamajigs, and turkey lumps. A wholemeal cob, lemon yoghourt and a can of the Clementine juice.

Flavour: 8/10 for this one.

Did the washing up. Jiggled the handwashing 2Tue15onto the airer. Then went to the wet room to try to pass water (formally know as ‘have a wee-wee’), but only managed a hurtful trickle. Had a wash and brush-up.

Duodenal Donald gave me some stick again.

Back to get the jammies on.

Blimey, the pins were still warped, but signs of the Clopidogrel and vein eruptions had almost vanished!

I should write a book “The Ever-Changing Legs!” Hehehe!

I got settled in the £300 second-hand, rickety recliner. Getting set to watch the 1918 Flu Pandemic documentary.

G2Tue16ot the headphones on and watched the end of the preceding programme.

WD 128.0.0 Unfortunately, I then nodded off. When I woke up a few minutes later, there was no sound coming from the headphones? I checked the cable-plug was in the TV set, yes! Then found as I was fumbling my way back into the recliner, the extension cable plug had fallen apart. Then proceeded to sit down on the flaming headphones, breaking them!

There are times, too many times; when the point in bothering becomes questionable.

GMX06a WD 150.0.0 02 From approximately midnight, I had Thought Storms aplenty. Broken by a precious few nod-offs, they were only a few minutes long, the instant I jumped awake, it was as if I had been searching in my slumber, for worries, concerns, and fears, building them up for when I woke, and the soul-destroying Brain-Storming recommenced!

04:30hrs: I woke for the umpteenth time, and all signs of mental aggravation had gone. I was no longer bedevilled! Not knowing why this suddenly occurred was a mystery, but of no interest to me, I was just so pleased that they had. In fact, it put little life into me as I cheered-up.

Getting out of the second-hand, £300, c1968, not-working-broken-down, most cringeworthily sickening beige-coloured, rickety recliner, has not been done with such ease for many a month. I should have known better than to let myself get carried away! Good fortune, for me, is transmundane.

WDP 03eWD 150.0.0 02 WD 150.0.0 a02 As I gained some semi-balance and was reaching for the four-pronged walking stick, and Dizzy Dennis had a go at me. (He’s not attacked me so ferociously for a while, but he made up for it this time!) I floundered and fortuitously fell back in the chair, via hitting my bum and piles on the way down against the arm. By ‘ecky-thump, I felt that! It took me a few minutes to gather myself, get over the shock, and then I tried (successfully) again to get up on my plates (feet).

Off to the kitchen, a little slower than usual, cause I didn’t trust Dizzy Dennis an iota. He’s a most cunning ailment. He’s on a par with Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters as top-dogs in the catching me out at the most optimum, dangerous timing, to cause me the greatest bother! The Swine!

I got the updating finished for the Sunday post and sent off. Nicodemus was particularly kind to me this morning. Then got the link Emailed. On to TFZer Facebooking, I always enjoy that. Spent an hour or three on it. Next, on the WordPress Reader section. Some great reads and photographs on there!

1Mon02I had a quick check on the latest sad news from the virus.

The landline burst into sound and flashed. I thought it might be the Phlebotomy Nurse calling to say she would be in tomorrow and give me the time scale. It was Sister Jane calling, bless her.

During the socially-distanced chinwag, she told me to write clearly. I mentioned the problems that are stopping me doing so. She suggested I have plenty of time on my hands, and I should learn shorthand. Hehe!

She and Pete are waiting for their free food parcel to arrive. Jane is very disappointed with the last one. They gave her amongst the many freebies, instant coffee, they use filter coffee, mentioning with a smiling voice; ‘Of course, you don’t get a free parcel do you’ (Muffled laugh, suspiciously heard!).

She mentioned that she had been doing some cleaning. Pointing out she realises I don’t, and I should get more exercise done. After the conversation, I felt about as much use as a chocolate teapot. Hahaha!

The doorbell chimed, and I found a pot of butter on the carpet outside. Obviously the work of Angel Jenny again. Bless her cotton socks!

Some tip-tapping noises were keeping me company from somewhere, as I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea, and then made a start on this blog.

Within a few hours, I’d got as far as here, and the need for CorelDraw graphicalisationing grew more urgent, as I realised I was out of page-top, Thoughts and Day graphics all together! So, with the tap-tapping now accompanied by some clump-banging, I visited CorelDraw ad started what turned out be a marathon session. But only managed two of the six graphics I needed to do. Humph!

I went to make a brew of Glengettie and pictured a man and his dog.

1Mon05b

1Mon06bThe intercom rang forth, it was the Iceland delivery. It’ll or nothing innit? Haha!

I put a can of plonk in the hallway for the driver. He was very chuffed! Which pleased me, too.

I made a start on the problematic, complicated and time-consuming task of getting the stuff in the cupboards fridge and freezer.

The doorbells chimed out again. I was a little miffed at being disturbed in the middle of mess sorting out the groceries; but thought it might be the other pair of trousers they have not delivered yet, so my spirits raised just a tad.

It was Josie returning the tray and things from the nosh. She said she enjoyed it and was, at last, isolating herself. Both made me feel good for her.

Back in the kitchen, and crammed the stuff, after reorganising the things a little. Plenty of nosh in now. Bleach might be a problem, but not yet, I’ve now got a bottle and a half left, so things are not anywhere near desperate.

I got the oven warming up. Then pondered on what to have for the nosh, my choices were multitudinous. Hahaha!

I thought I’d have some of the oddly called ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’ from Iceland, chips. This will mean more room in the freezer. Some cooked meat of some sort; or sausages will make a little room in the fridge for me.

It really is jam-packed in there now.

I nipped to have a wash, nothing serious, like an ablutions session, mind.

WDP 11mL1Mon05aWD 150.0.0 a02 Crumps and botherations! I knocked the clock off of the toilet top, and guess where it fell?

I assume you’ve guessed right. Straight down into the water in the water in the WC. Grrr! So very-most annoying!

I got the chips in the oven and sorted out the nosh ingredients available to use. Then I made a start on one of the most flavourful noshes of the year so far! Inspired, I was. Mind you, I kept changing my mind of what meat to have, ending up with one of the turkey sausages.

A wholemeal cob, a bottle of spring water, a terribly crumbly tasteless apple (One bite was enough to convince me to bin it!), and a Skinny Bar nougat (Tasty) were the extras.

The main plateful was the best bit. ‘Naturally Imperfect Chips’ I seasoned with black pepper and vinegar, the Netherlands-grown Piccalo tomatoes were fantastic considering how out of season they were, sea-salted. I used some of the frozen petit pois for the first time and added some demerara sugar. I was not too impressed with the peas, but everything else on the plate went down fine and flavoursome. A rating of 9.26/10!

I was so impressed with my effort, I took shots of it from different angles on the tray. Did you notice the last picture had something added for an extra treat? Hahaha!

1Mon10

I ate it all up (Well, not the crap apple) masticating so slowly and savouring it. Apart from the fruit being thrown away, I ate and enjoyed the lot. It was about the time I made a decent meal!

1Mon06CInto the kitchen to do the washing up. I spotted two youths on the bottom field, a skateboarder and a cyclist, so my hackles-lifted. I’m not sure if they were rolling spliffs, cigarettes, or taking crack, but I took this decentish shot of them. When I viewed it on the camera, I realised the Saccades Sandra as playing and jumping about my focussing, shame! I used this shot as a background and made a Thoughts graphic in the morning.

I was determined to get some sleep tonight. (Huh!)

WDP3eLWD 150.0.0 02 Took the medications, and as I got settled into the £300, second-hand recliner, I soon realised I needed to use my hands to feel my way safely into the seat. (Luckily, Nicodemus’s Neortramsmitters’, and Shaking Shaun didn’t visit me st the time) Saccades Sandra was bad tonight, and I could not use the ploy of watching TV to help me get to sleep. Getting the focus right, too bothersome and headache encouraging. Then Toothache Tim kicked off. This was not going to be a peaceful night, methought. Sadly, I was right! I eventually got myself into a semi-comfortable position. Pulled the woolly hat over my eyes, and prayed that the Thought-Storms would not start.

WDP 2019B01AWD 150.0.0 02 The landline phone rang and flashed. I fumbled to get my spec’s on and get to the phone in time. It was my new Phlebotomy nurse. She will be calling in the morning between 0800hrs and 12:00hrs, to take the Warfarin Blood for testing. I thanked her, and returned to the chair, noticing that Saccades had eased off, and I could focus easier again. Which was good!

For some unknown, but pleasant reason, the Thought-Storms did not arrive. Which, on the face of it, was magnificently encouraging thing.

WDP 02lbWD 150.0.0 02 But the IBON (Inchcocks-Bundle-of-Nerves), anxiety and agitation attacks started the moment I got back down in the recliner! I really cannot recall how many times I struggled up, to go and check on something, taps (faucets) lights, oven, wet room sink, etc. over the next few hours. By the time I dropped of, the physical efforts and mental fatigue helped me nod-off.

At least I got a few hours in. Hey-Ho!
