Thurs 16.4.15: Inchcock Today – New second-hand jacket for Inchy…

Thursday 16th April 2015

Got in a good seven hours dream filled sleep at last. Must have needed it.

Again I can’t recall any of the dreams – damn it!

Took me BP, WC’d and went down and made a flask of tea.

Took a photo of Fatima and Fred as I gave them their breakfast. Started the laptop to put the photograph on here and realised I’d not put me mem card back in the camera. Huh!

The haemorrhoids are stinging somewhat this morning, but no bleeding

Started to create the header and Coreldraw9 froze again! Gnash!

Did a bit of Facebooking and then got missen polished and fer me little hobble to the Nottingham Hospice shop.

IMG_0033Toddled down to the chemist and asked them about whether I could just take the empty packets from the medications with me to the Treatment Centre to save avoid the risk of me losing the medications en route to or from the appointment. All I got was “Mmm, you’d think so!”

I purchased a thermometer while I was there, the instructions looked like Braille to me, so tiny.

IMG_0034I left and started me walk into Sherwood to the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop.

No sunshine today, but it wasn’t windy or cold.

The coughing started again en-route. Tut!

No signs of any pavement cyclists yet – but I was certain to come across one or two later on my walk.

To the top of the hill and took a photo of the skyline.

IMG_0035Very little traffic about – still Mr Mercedes managed to park in the bus lane and near the brow of the hill.

Naughty boy!

Down the hill and up the next one to the Hospice shop and donated me bits and pieces, then purchased a sleeveless jacket that had IMG_0041many pockets in it – one for me free bus-pass, one for me emergency medical card, one for me Warfarin alert card, one for me Police Pegasus at risk card… etc. I just hope when I get it back to the flea-pit there are no holes in the pockets.

Mind you, then I’ve got to remember which thing is in which pocket! Heheh!

And it only cost me £3.

Bit of a bargain… must check it out later for as I say, any holes in the pockets.

Had a bit of a chin-wag with the ladies in the shop and gave them some nibbles in thanks of what they are doing to help others.

0401Walked back down the hill and was tempted by the wonderful aroma from the cooking at the Nibbles Hot Food take away shop…

I joined the queue and got myself a small tray of Roast Pork an roast potatoes.

I didn’t take this photo, it is a Screen grab from Google maps wot I just used.

I walked on towards the dump and s I was passing near the Post Office on Mansfield IMG_0037Road – I saw a young Pavement Cyclist really clogging it toward me as he weaved speedily and dangerously between and around the pedestrians.

I fumbled to get me camera out and by then he’s gone passed me, I swung round and took a photo blindly but he’s gone by then.

As I walked up the hill I spotted a unique piece IMG_0036of Nottingham Street Art by the side of the wall. No idea what it was but felt it was possibly might have been some sort of goggles?

Mystery Object this one.

IMG_0038I plodded on and at the junction the Nottingham City Police Dog vehicle passed by at great speed with blues and twos activated.

IMG_0039As I approached St Peter’s Church a rapidly moving Pavement Cyclist came passed me very closely and then pressed the pelican lights further up the road and cycled over onto the pavement on the other side of the road. Tsk!

Up Church Drive and through a gang of about 6 wannabe young yobs who threw insults and threats at me as I hobbled through them trying to avoid being hit by one of the footballs they were kicking about while smoking roll-ups?

I’ve learnt better that to reply to these junior scum-merchants baiting – but it irked me to have to just hobble away saying nothing again. Put me on a low that did.

nosh2Got in the flea-pit depressed – WC’d and warmed up me take-away meal. Grand it was – marvellous… the roast potatoes were burnt just like wot they are when I had an oven and made em… Mmm!

Laptop on and continued with editing this Diary.

Did some Facebooking then got me head down and within 5 hours I think I nodded off. Tsk!

Inchcock Today: Thursday 30th October 2014

How is Inchcock Today we asked him?

Nervous, fearful, apprehensive and depressed! Ah well…

Thursday 30th  October 2014

Well it was another frustrating dream filled night; I know they were horrible but cannot recall any of them.

Up at 0315hrs, the Inch proud and painful again did me ablutions and came down for the cream for little ‘Inch’, started the laptop and made a cuppa.

I think the laptop is closer to its end now – it kept freezing and I had to restart three times.

I checked the emails, just in case it went altogether.

Delivery this morning, then I’ll get ready to go and visit Sister Jane and Pete.

It’s cold again this morning.

Did some facebooking and a bit on this diary. Coreldraw9 let me create some graphics so I got as many as I could do, before it gave up the ghost.

Got things ready to take for Jane and Pete, and set off for the bus. Too cold to walk today, well at the moment it is. I might get a walk in on the way back.

Caught the bus into town and went to catch the second one to West Bridgford.

The bus before pulled off and I was the only one at the bus-stop – not for long mind, soon there were about 15 others in the queue. Well I stay queue?

When the number 7 arrived, I nearly got crushed in the rush to board it and got on 16th in line! (Tsk!) Not that it mattered too much but I felt a bit put-upon like.

Dropped off and walked to Jane and Pete’s house.

Pete was just finishing putting up their fifth CCTV camera. They are having a bit of bother with the next door neighbour.

We had a jolly good natter and Jane is to let me know what time next Thursday I can meet her to go to the hospital with her for her medicationalising treatment and x-rays.

JTh301001They started to eat their fine meal (pictured) and I decided I had outstayed my welcome, so shot off.

They had made a Halloween doll on a plant of their friend.

I called in the M&S food place to have a quick look if they had anything good on offer – not that I needed anything, JTh301003I’ve tons of food in at the moment. Too much really. (Gannet!)

The prices scared me away.

I went to the bus-stop and had an interesting conversation with a bloke in a Pork-pie hat. It went:

Him: “Did yer see the game last night?”

JTh301002Me: “What game was that?”

Him: “Don’t know, thought you might!”

Me: “No mate!”

Him: “Still it don’t cost much do it?”

You couldn’t make it up could you?

Caught bus to town, called in the Chinese shop to see if they had any plain-cheese seaweed but no.

Poddled through town and caught the bus back to Carrington and the flea-pit-supreme.

WC.

Laptop started, made a cuppa and updated this diary.

Knock on door, Police wanting to know if I saw anything suspicious on the street last night at 2230hrs.

I told them I was asleep at that time.

They left.

Nice to have a caller though.

I hope this isn’t too exciting for anyone. (Hehehe).

TTFN.

Inchcock Today: Thursday 23rd October 2014

04 Head

Unfortunately this feeling didn’t last long. So sad. Coreldraw still playing up and Inchy feeling down”

GC scowl

Well depressed Now!

0315hrs: The usual being shocked into waking-up experience again this morning – instantly wide awake accompanied by a feeling that something is wrong?

WC.

Thought straight away about what I could try to sort the Coreldraw not working problem out. Nothing new came to mind, depressed I wandered down and put the kettle on. Started the laptop and got the cream form the fridge and ent up to tend to the ‘Inch’. Oh dear… the swelling is still declining but the blood was flowing again! Thank heavens for kitchen towels. Stopped eventually.

Angina playing up and for the first time in ages my ulcer joined in with other complaints! Tsk!

I opened Coreldraw9 in vain hopes, and got the same message, whichever option I clicked, just like yesterday I got the Error message then it told me Coreldraw9 has stopped working. This time I tried clicking abort again – and it started and was usable for a while?

I am now going to close it and try again to see if still works…

“An unexpected Error occurred please restart Coreldraw” message when I tried to close it down?

It closed down on its own accord!

I tried again…

For some reason I can get passed the opening warning sometimes and not others. It will not let me save a page at all?

Double depressed now!

Still fiddling and trying to come up ith a solution – for five hours now with no luck!

Still fiddling and trying to come up with a solution – for five hours now with no luck!

I decided when the radio said it was not going to rain again until early evening, to get the stuff ready for the Nottingham Hospice Charity shop and have a walk into Sherwood with it for em.

I went up cleansed myself well. Had a peep at the Inch to see if it had started to bleed again but no signs thankfully.

WC.

I set off hoping I’d not forgotten anything.

IMG_0177A new sign at the Chapel I espied:

Well fancy that… and I thought they were into Formula One racing. Hehehe. Oh I am feeling bitter and pissed off!

Still feeling low I carried on into Sherwood, the sky looked a bit threatening at this stage.

I called into the Continental food shop and got a small loaf of Rye bread. I thought it might cheer me up a bit – a totally forlorn hope of course. Then I realised I’d left all me coins in the bathroom so had to pay her with the tenner I had. Really cheered her up that did.

If looks could kill I’d be a gonna I can tell yer!

Only a new laptop with a graphic programme that works would do that. No chance at the moment. Clivey-boy suggested getting another graphics programme installed. Nice of him but the laptop is an old one running on old windows?

Anyway, I carried on to the Hospice shop and gave em me stuff.

As I was walking back the sky looked a bit lighter, but I didn’t feel any brighter.

IMG_0178Noticed the alcoholic mobility scooter maniac was at the pub again.

Hobbled along taking the scenic route and passed the flat I used to live in before moving to where I am now – Whatta mistake to maka! I was well happy there – but the landlord sold it to another and he wanted more rent than me mortgage was.

See how when things go wrong I start stewing on things? Poor twit.

I got back in the flea-pit.

WC.

Started the laptop, got me food out ready for microwaving later, made a cuppa and got me medications ready, then updated this.

Gawd I’m depressed.

Arghh!!!! In’t life ‘orrible at times!
