I’ve never seen an elephant or a zony,
A giraffe, or been to Hungary…
Or why we all live xenophobically,
I know if Starmer gets his way…
Pensioner’s food will be xerophagy!
<<<>>>
Oh, last night’s kip, seizure after seizure!
Accompanied with agony from Anne Gyna,
I was a nocturnal cougher & sneezer,
Sleepless, confused, unwell, a sad geezer,
So bad, I was prepared for my sepulchre!
<<<>>>
Hard to breathe, a cough and an atchoo!
My moving and thinking was so adagio,
What I was or needed to do, I didn’t know!
Nocturnal seizures, I’ve only had two…
Both were in bed. Is it a bugaboo?
<<<>>>
My brain & body needed to be examined,
At first, I felt really succussed,
The carer came, this was discussed,
He reported to HQ, well, he must…
They didn’t mention my psychosis,
<<<>>>
I said no help was needed,
Though I may have been deluded,
Then, the carer departed,
I became far less bothered,
So quickly, I suddenly breathed!
<<<>>>
My dizziness, & balance improved,
With Anne Gyna, I was not affected,
It took a minute to feel jubilated,
Gone, I was, no longer seizured,
Sadly, later, Anne Gyna feasted!
<<<>>>
ADMISSIONS
I’ve blundered, blabbed & believed,
Got angry, annoyed, been aggrieved,
Begloomed, begrimed & becharmed,
Shoplifted, got shot twice, was sacked,
In 1950, I was abducted,
By a neighbour, I was snatched…
I believe her name was Winifred,
A Welsh lady who took me to her bed,
Her groping, I found unmatched,
Her house I frequently frequented,
I didn’t realise what we practised,
But I was sorely satisfied!

After each Nocturnal Seizure, clearing my head and senses was a long job
. Balancing was a farce. Anne Gyna was playing ball with me. From getting up, it was a confusing and worrying 4 hours before the Carer arrived. The Carer rang his HQ to report my condition. Eyesight blurred, coughing and sneezing, phlegm coming up, dizzy, and most things that I was suffering from cannot be remembered. I think I was finding it a job to talk as well. At one stage, I spoke with a lady from the Carer organisation. Can’t recall what was said.
Once the Carer departed, my head slowly cleared, and my vision improved after taking the medication. I took an extra Codeine & Paracetamal.
I’ve got photos on the SD card that I cannot recall taking. Maybe the seizures continued with the mini-ones. The day flashed by. I didn’t start this ode until around 15:00hrs when I started the odes.
After this, I may need to give WP a rest.
After three nights of broken sleep, then last night’s nocturnal Seizures, I must try to get some sleep. I realise my thousands of fans will be disappointed, and I apologise to both of you. Hehe!
I’m so far behind it hurts!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I NEED SLEEP!
Dear Lord, I won’t bellyache.
At best, my life’s been bittersweet,
I don’t mean to moan & bleat…
Three days under the bedsheet,
Mostly in pain and wideawake,
And not a moment’s sleep,
Anne Gyna & Sandra’s Seizures compete,
I pray you to hear me speak,
I don’t intend to offer critique,
Sleep: or ensure I don’t reawake.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Well, it’s time to get summat to eat. I originally decided to have two lamburgers on cheesy-topped rolls. My taste buds tingled at the thought.
I couldn’t have made a proper meal anyway because I forgot to tell the carer not to put the nocturnal bag on yet. I could have made the meal without the dangers of using the walking stick and cooking simultaneously. I got the burgers in the oven; they should take 35 minutes to cook.
Then I returned to the computer and did the Ode To Sleep. Forgetting all about the burgers.
I got a whiff of the burning food!

So, I ate some Cheez-it crackers and nuts as sustenance for tonight.

Photos of the day. In order as taken, I think.
First one.
My beloved tree copse.

Cavendish Vale

CorelDraw problems again.

This might be out of sync timewise?

Green skies, as well.
I’m colour-blind on red/greens, so you
may not see the colour I do.
Protanopia: This is a severe form of
red-green colour blindness where

individuals are unable to perceive
red lights at all.
I looked this up on my NHS list.

After the last two nights of sleeping in bed, the nocturnal seizure stopped any silly thoughts of sleeping. So, after burning my lamburgers, don’t think that this pissed me off and got me all angry and annoyed with myself. I wet back to using the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop-bought, wincingly grotty, beige-coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy, and dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping recliner, in hopes of nodding off.
Well, it was great! Five straight hours without interruption. Until and kicked off.
Five hours is more than I’ve had over the last three days.
No bother from , , or either of the Cartilages. !

He should have put ‘one word to describe this ode.’ Tsk!
Someone entered my flat, saying he was an alien…
I thought, surely this is an aberration?
I said you look like an Abyssinian,
He replied; The universe is my dominion…
I quipped, our leader lives in London…
Did you misjudge your landing?
He didn’t act like an authoritarian,
“I’m the Universal disciplinarian!…
To speak with you, cause of your acumen”,
I can’t cope with decisioning or botheration…
I have arithmaphobia, & am mentally broken!
But on the internet, you always log on!
Well, yes, Sir, I’ve put myself up for adoption,
Sir? Just address me as Zon,
Is that your name, Son?
No, it’s Starmer-The Holy-One…

Jesus, I’m worried about mankind’s preservation,
Well, you didn’t help the Indians on the reservation!
And what about the Jews and the Ukrainians?
Mankind evolved during experiments on plankton,
To the heavens, they are now an abomination,
So what can I do, Zon?
You are the new chosen one!
How did I get in the line of succession?…
No, I’m too old, ready for heaven…
Zon faded into the ether, saying Untermenschen!
The alarm woke me up just before seven…
Well, that dream was full of diversification!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I’m not joking; I scribbled this ode while having a Seizure.
Now, can I get help from a neurologist doctor? Hehe!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -.
The Prime Minister wrote on X: “Congratulations, Kemi Badenoch, on becoming the Conservative Party’s new leader. The first black leader of a Westminster party is a proud moment for our country. I look forward to working with you and your party in the interests of the British people.” (Not pensioners, of course)
Reading Starmers’ false-hearted comments, I felt nauseated.

Computer Cock-ups Galore.
Repeated Seizures had me seething.
Stuttering-Stephanie made communications silly!
Computer farce with saving the photos!
The hot water tap was left running cold again!
Iceland Delivery came.
CorelDraw is going so slow that I’m concerned.
Another rush job to get this blog done.
Carer Joanne is feeling better – Hurrah! Goood News…

Frighteningly dark urine in the nocturnal bag!.

Another bit of good and bad news.
Good: The new wire washing sheets work wonders on the hobs of the cooker cleaning.
Bad: I need a new cooker!,

The Iceland delivery arrived.

I took this snap of the carrier bags in my super-massive hallway (Hehe!) I could see some objects formed by the bags. Can you see anything in there?
Pareidoliaer wise?

Got the fridge filled a bit now.

The Pukka pies are a new product.
Made to be cooked in the microwave.
That’ll do me with the cooker now
kaputt and deceased.

Carer Chris did the first call.

Before starting the blog, I popped into the balcony to see if anything would be worth photoing and was greeted with
Seagull poo down the glass! Humph!

The seizures, although no long ones today, were coming to regularly for my liking. It may not be the case, but I felt I took much longer to overcome each one.
The doctor did say things would only get worse.

A great choice was in the fridge if I fancied a sarnie to nibble on yeast extract, Asda, and Vegemite. They are also good as flavouring in some meals, the ones I used to make using the oven that I can no longer do due to the demise of the oven. I’ve only had it for… Ah, yes. I think it was 2008 when I bought it. I can’t get another one until the funds build up. But, I’ve got the microwave and a diddy air-fryer, so I’ll be able to cope with my usual aplomb and calm, capably copeable manner as I do with these things.

When Carer Joanne came in, I chirped tremendously. After I asked her how she felt, she said she felt much better today. Great!

At least there was no rushing to get to the Porcelain Throne in time and being late this time. I did hit my shoulder on the doorframe, entering the wet room. I never used to do this when I had a cataract problem. This Glaucoma Gladys ailment must be worse than the cataract? But, they tell me it will be treated with a laser, in the same way, but it will take a lot longer, and I’ll have to take someone, relative, friend or caregiver with me to have the procedure at the hospital. No relative or friend to help, so a costly carer is the option. But the hospital has to write in the appointment that I ‘Have’ to bring a carer with me, and not just say they advise me to get one.

When I had the cataract done, they struggled to get cover for someone to come with me. The carer who came could not stay waiting for me and left. But she was very kind and left me notes with a nurse on what I had to do when I got home. I’d got a lift that day with Easy-Link. I think the young lady carer was either finishing a shift before coming with me or had a chance to start. Nice gal. She did her best, thank you gal.
I waffled again there! I’m a rare but good waffler when I get someone to listen to me. Haha!

Much to my surprise, the computer, which had been a bugger for not letting me save things, allowed me to save last night’s sunset views that I tried and failed to go two or three times yesterday. YeeHaa! Not a bad selection. Then, it was back once again to visit the .
I needed to rush a little more this time, and I’m so glad I did!
It was a close call, but I can cope with them after having three ‘got-there-too-late events over the week.
A bit of a worry was discovered on this visit.
was oozing blood a smidge worryingly. I had to change the protective pants; they were stained a lot.

I’ll have to check this more regularly. It’s never bled so much before. Well, having said that, it has been worse, but that was when I fell off the bus at the bottom of Winchester Street and got myself tangled up in my own walker. I can remember how some kind of people came to my rescue. One lady said how pale I looked, I said I was on my way to the dentist and she walked me up to the surgery. Such a kind, appreciated gesture. ♥
I could not believe it myself, but as I came out of the dentist and got to the bus shelter, a bus came straight away, and I tripped getting onto the bus. That was a while ago, but the memory is still evident.

I tried again to get more Bookmarks on the bar. But started again, some, most, only latest for seconds. It destroyed what bit of concentration & confidence I had. It was getting late, and I gave up.

The meal was not really a meal. I felt so drained, too much to start cooking, especially with the microwave I’m not used to using. So I made two ready-sliced baps, sliced tomatoes, sea salt, and Marmite. I had a bag of Frazzles with it, and I sat down to watch some football on the TV.
Do you know, I really enjoyed it! I had it on a paper plate, so there was no washing up to do. Hahaha!

About ten minutes into the game, I drifted off into Sweet Abvilion. Zzz! I woke up with the usual jerking neck, what seemed like every other ten minutes. I gave up on the TV as well. I sorted the night pouch and struggled into the bed, where I just carried on nodding and waking up for the next four hours. Then I gave up on that, too.

I finished this in the late morning.
I was still coughing & yawning!
The fungal lesion had blood pouring…
Which wasn’t too assuring…
My mind was busy bolixing!
So, please do your best to get some relaxing,
And get some extra rest in,
The last tip I am offering…
Carrots help your brain in calibrating!

This shot on the right is of a freshly bathed, medicated, shaved, and totally confused, Mentally disturbed, depressed, discouraged, disheartened, downcast, demoralised, distressed, disconcerted, dimwit, Inchy, with much help from . This was taken on Friday morning. Maryam could not have arrived at a better time to drag me out of my sinking lower mood. Her help, kindness, timing and patience were much appreciated, as she helped me finish shaving, getting the new PPs and dressing gown on. That was so good of her. She then got the diabetic socks on my legs (Well, we thought that was the best place for them, Hehehe!) and issued the medications for me. Bless Her!
I’m writing this early cause I may forget later when the brain sags and keys fade.
A glossy hue?

A morning view.

Took an anti diarrhoea capsule.

Later shot from the kitchen.

Carer Maryham.

First of the two mugs allowed.
Thompson’s Punjana tea, this time.

Afternoon cloud views.

Urine lighter. I wasn’t drinking it, you understand.

A late shot of the sun downing.

I’d just taken the tray of potatoes out of the oven, using the new oven gloves to be on the safe side, of course.
They seem to be made of rubber, although Carer Kara said that’s how they are nowadays. Anyway, I had two ailments attack at the same time, and as Cartilage Chloe gave way, a short Peripheral Neuropathy Pete’s right leg wobbled away. Apart from the pain, I dropped the oven tray, and it went down my now steadied right leg, causing more pain for Arthur Itis and from Cartilage Carole. It rested on the lower shin, long enough to have taken off  Vascular Vanessa’s shell and burnt off a patch of skin! I later discovered another burnt finger. (That’s three now this week!) I’m not sure how I got that one.

The food had gone a little cold, but I didn’t want to warm it up because I’d already burned it before taking it out of the oven. Then it would have been too hard for my poor few rotting teeth left to use. Which reminds me, I must take a Codeine with so many things paining me at the same time now. Hehe! Still, I did quite enjoy it.

I had the second and last brew of the day.
Glengettie this one.

An extra competition is called for. This one reminded me of an old black-and-white Police TV series that ran for donkey years, well into colour TV times. Can you guess what it was?

Here’s a clue, the only one you’ll need if you’re getting on a bit like wot I am: The starting and ending we heard were…
Go On Then, Another clue:

I woke, surprised at how light it was, and gave consideration to the vague idea of getting up, mused for a moment… decided I was still too tired and swiftly nodded off again,
I have no idea when I first woke up, but this second one was distinctively individual. I was rudely awoken as my body was falling out of the bed!
Then the ‘thud’ as my knees hit the floor and the pain from the nocturnal pouch tube pulled at Little Inchie. I hauled myself back up to find that Cartilage in Chloe’s left knee had swollen immediately. But I was concerned about knowing how the heck that happened. How? What was I doing, having a dream? Had Peripheral Neuropathy Pete had a leg dance? Or had Shaking Shaun been involved?
When I started to hobble about to take the nocturnal pouch to be emptied, Lost-Balance-Barbara nearly had me over and painfully gave way frequently. The urine colour was bloodied, but that was no surprise with the morning’s -tumble.
I was still juggling things to get a less painful seating position on the WC when the almost liquidised evacuation started flowing. Even that hurt, but it was short-lived. I can’t say the same about cleaning things up after the torrent from . I decided to get the ablutions & medicationings done.
I hadn’t realised how late it was that I’d risen from the pleasure of peaceful sleep. I was having problems shaving the back of my neck again, as sounded from the door chime, and in came Carer Christopher. Knocked on the wet room door, asking if I was alright. He came in and shaved just the back of my neck for me as I began relating the morning’s farcical beginning to him. He wasn’t pleased with my wobbling and imbalance, the swollen leg or the colour of the urine, but I explained I thought they were all probably due to the tumble. Because I was about to shave and shower, I could not have the new pouch bag or the diabetic socks on. Chris said he would not give me the medications yet and would give me an hour or so to get the showering done, then he would return to do the medicating, socks, and catheter pouch fitting. That was kind of him; off he went, and I returned to the wet room to finish off the shaving. A few tiny nicks, but only tiny ones. Then, the showering… Although the procedure was painful with the swelling and when I got around to the rear-end  cleaning, Boy, was it painful? Yes, it was. Hehehe! But with my pain tolerance level being so high, I wasn’t bothered about the knees, haemorrhoids, catheter tube pulling on Little Inchie, or the toe I’d just stubbed in the slightest.
I was coughing and sneezing by the time I’d finished the medicating and ablutions.

I made the waste bags into one and took them to the front door.

Carer Benjamin gChristopher returned. He got my socks on for me because he realised it must have been nippy without any on. I issued the medications and then put a washed catheter pouch cover on it for me.
On his way out, he took the laundry down for me, taking his choice of drinkies and Lamb Patti from the fridge.

I spent hours and hours on the blog update, all the time sensing the gurgling and rumblings from the innards.
I took a diarrhoea capsule in hopes of avoiding another of the infamous evacuations again.

It cost me, losing half a day.
When I came back to semi-reality, I knew a Carer had been. A  , and I checked on the Carers log. Joanne had been, and Christopher too. Someone came on the third call because the washing had been returned. I usually have a natter and laugh with Joanne, I can’t recall either of these episodes. Vague is the word.

I checked the camera’s SD card. I’d have expected to remember taking these two beautiful shots. But I’m afraid I can’t. I think I took them from the kitchenette window.
Wonderful peace-emitting clouds out there.
I felt the pangs of hunger, so I investigated what to eat.
I emptied the day pouch from Cathy’s Catheter and was pleased to see it was a little lighter. I did not mean the pouch; I meant the urine that was emptying. Not a bit mixed here!
Potato Rostis and a lamb cutlet were sprayed with oil and put into the oven. When they were out of the oven, I dabbed some Germolene on the hand I burned while doing so, and then the food was plated.
I added some tomatoes and some sugar snap peas.
A few rounds of Milk Roll bread and got stuck into it. This I do remember!
The lamb was fatty—too much so for me—but the rest of the plate was fine and tasty!

I took this shot of the night sky from the kitchen window as the sun was setting.

And went to turn off the computer in the junk/bed/living room. Haha!

I found them, but not in 12 seconds. It was the wave one that had me fooled for so long. No surprise, a lot of things got and got me confused: Women, Pucking Putin, computers, Football Referees’ Decisions, Oligarchs, , , , , , , and perhaps the most confusing is the decisions arrived at by theParole Boards to free convicted killers to murder again!
They instil in me a hatred comparable to my loathing for Putin!
I’m so glad I got that out of the way!

Cheerio, Folks!

BREAKING NEWS

I’ve driven endless times along Snake Pass, and I was nervous and careful every time, especially when I was delivering in the Derbyshire area when it snowed. Someone comments on this Snippet, saying a cyclist ignored a red light?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –What a lonely day, today. Well, it wasn’t really. But none of the regular Carers called. So our little jokes, insults and swipes at each other could not be activated. I missed them! Hehe!
The computer was playing up, resulting in me not getting so many photographs due to the time I spent making corrections. Peripheral Neuropathy Pete was to blame. The right hand and arm had now joined in with the right leg suddenly dancing and Shirley’s Shaking Shoulder, which often made me so frustrated, angry, and annoyed. I would verbally curse, with such words as “Flip it!” “Bother!” and “Oh, Heck!

I emptied the nocturnal catheter pouch into the jug. To get a more accurate assessment of the colour to record on the log
I gave it a four, I think.
Off to the wet room in response to the rumbling innards. I thought Constipation Conrad would be in charge. But no. ruled again.
Minutes after coming out into the hallway, I had to dive back in and on the Porcelain Throne.
An even more giant dollop of liquid waste shot out this time. With such force, not many areas of the wet room or I didn’t need cleaning up this time.
I returned to the medicine drawer and took two of Morrison’s Anti-Splatter capsules.
I suppose it might have been caused by last night’s vegetable and beef dish, which I enjoyed so much. It contained a lot of vegetables, gravy thickener, and even a splash of liquid smoke.
Took a break from the irritating error creating on the computer, to make a brew of Glengettie tea. Took this blotch-ridden photo of the late morning view.
Back for my third and final… up to now, visit to the .
Much less evacuated this time. And came out with a few discernable lumps in the almost liquid mass.
Back to CorelDrawing. It hasn’t crashed, but I’ve hit the wrong colour or function tab so often that it’s taken me longer than ever to create three find-the-difference graphics.
It’s galling bothersome!
What a fantastic set of small clouds Kodak Tim could take from the kitchen window. Contrails, blotches, and tiny puffs of cloud seemed alive as they were being blown about so easily. Great!
I got the mug from the very effective tea-stain removal I use. Baking soda, bleach, a drop of washing-up liquid, and hot water are poured into the mug. It comes clean within a minute of soaking. It’s just a rare moment to get something right, you know. Hehe!
I thought I’d have one of the Carer & nurses nibbles. I found this Snickers bar cooling in the fridge for the next one to call. Guiltily, I tried to eat it with my mug of tea. The teeth bled,
My lips bled, and I promised never to eat chocolates from the fridge again!
Took these two cloud shots as the sun came down.
Then, I sorted out the fodder. I put the vegetable pie in the oven and prepped the instant potatoes to be made after it was cooked. I’m in an Egon Ronay mood, or maybe it is a Gordon Ramsey one? This might turn out a good one again… Mmm!
It is close to the time for the last Carer call. The last one said the belated prescriptions ought to be arriving soon. He told me that two medications were run out. I leave it to them nowadays.
I got it served up, and it was delightful. It’s been a good meal for two nights on the trot now.
It was a hell of a job to wash up afterwards. The bowl with the cheese and potato in it was a battle to get cleaned. Well, the cutlery was as well. But I enjoyed it so much. Also, the Carer was a little later than usual, so I ate it in undisturbed peace. I got down to watch the 21:00-hour Lethal Weapon 2. When the adverts came on, I nodded off, waking several times and missing a few minutes of the action. The last time I woke up was to see the screen credits rolling. Humph! No Care called. So, I’ll have to have a stand-up wash and shave in the morning. I cannot get the diabetic socks on or off without help.

I hope the catheter equipment arrives soon. The day pouch should have been removed and replaced on Thursday, I think it was. But we agreed not to bother, as the District Nurse was coming to change the whole she-bob on Friday. But they couldn’t find any of the Catheter set-ups to put on. Said she’d return the next day with a kit from the base. But she didn’t. Then I got an email from Vyne saying they had received my order and requested a prescription from my doctor, who would let me know when it was dispatched. So it may be well into the week before it does arrive. I hope the medications arrive soon. I’ve no idea which ones I’m currently missing. Not that any blame is attached. Some staff are on holiday, others are off poorly, and replacements are not offah with the system or needs. It reminds me of my time as Security Controller. Late arrivals, clients calling, alarms to be responded to, Patrol Officer instead of three, Police messages, Clients ringing in, and no staff left to call and beg to come in on their day off. I know the feeling!

Zzz!

I have blogging duties. I needed some cartoons, and I spent three hours trimming them up and getting them ready to use on CorelDraw, which, dare I say this?
CorelDraw did not crash all day long!
There, now we’ll see if it continues… Dang. Dang, Sang, Dang!

A change in the meal stakes today.
I put a can of vegetable soup in the pan and added fresh onions, peppers, mushrooms, and peas. A packet of basil passata, and some Turkish beef, chopped up by my fair hands and mixed into the mix.
Later, I added a drop of tasty Polish Krakus beetroot Borscht and Winiary seasonings. I left it on a low light to marinate all the way through, then returned to the computer work.
Made a start on the blog at last.

The sun was taking its time getting through.

What a change to an hour earlier that was!

I was struggling with my concentration for hours and hours of making errors on the flog making.

This was a great cloud formation not to miss.
Can you see the faces in it?

I baked some potatoes and added them to the saucepan.
What a feast. Lipsmackingly Gorgeous!

Carers, as I recall, or don’t. Christopher, Joanne and Victor.

I was pleased to see the plane’s contrails showed up so well in this Kodak Tim snap of the sun on its way down.
I loved the E or Pound sign, Little Clouds. Can you see the chess rook just above the sun? The flying fish to the left of the £ sign? I am well pleased with this photo.
Oh, I’ve just spotted a spider on it, too!
I so love photos that are Pareidolianiable!

Well, something of a miracle happened overnight. Yes!
Although it was broken into pieces, I reckon got at least seven hours of sleep! Not been known for many a month.
Are things getting better for me?
What a stupid question!

A much disturbed night of sleep. But little bother all the same. As soon as I got back from the hospital, I got undressed and left the clothing on the floor… so tired!
I attached the nocturnal bag to the day pouch, did the safety checks, and climbed into the much-awaited bed.
Between the occasional waking up from my , they were copable with, I just drifted back into the land of nod each time.
As I woke, I could sense the itching from my covered forehead. I could also see the flakes of skin all over the quilt. Tsk! I rose and nearly tripped over the clothes I’d left on the floor in my fatigue.
I then had to move the mass of skin from the bedding. I did all this while the nocturnal pouch on the long tube was being pulled about. I checked to see if anything was leaking. And what did I discover? The flipping night bag had nothing in it! Come think of it. I did wake up with the innards rumbling. I went into a Sherlock Holmesian mode and had a look. Had a tube come off, was one blocked, had blood from the fungal lesion blocked it? No. I’d not opened the tap!
So, off to the wet room to the Porcelain Throne to check things out pr
operly.
Great Balls of Fire! A comeback from being in total control. Despite my best efforts, everything seemed rock hard and would and could not be encouraged to move. Still, I had a go at a new crossword in the book. Not that I did well, because I didn’t. Spit!
I cleaned up, returned to the computer, and started updating yesterday’s blog, finishing it off. I got it done.

I started getting calls for parts of the day, up until around 1600 hrs, when Carer Chris arrived. The early callers were Carers Favour and Sam, I think.

Tee sun broke through the clouds, and very pretty they looked, too. Despite the blotches, I tried again to get one that would be blotch-free.
But the kettle started boiling, and this was my first brew of the day. I’m only allowed two mugs, so I concentrated on mashing the Glengettie. Then just stood there, watching the clouds, for ages, almost talking to them. Then I got Kodak Tim and tried again for a snap. They looked a little darker this time.
I took advantage of the lighting, thinking I may get a decent crisp photo of the housing on the street opposite. That’s the one with the suspected drug growers on it. It came out alright, but of course, the usual blotches were there. I try to ignore them now. Hehehe!

Here are the revelations of the differences quiz.

I blogged for a while, but the mind-blanks steadied up the progress and annoyed me. I’m waiting for an appointment at the hospital again for someone to check things out. I think it is a neuro-something or other doctor.
The sun suddenly took a dive for some reason.
I got Kodak and captured it.
Minutes later, the sun came out again? But I didn’t catch it as I had to try again to pass on the Porc failed.
No chance. How can it change so often and quickly? Beats me! Then again, lots of things do that… like crosswords, hopes, arithmetic, women, Putin, and Peripheral Neuropathy. Then there’s Cataract Katie and Glaucoma Gladys, Cartilages Chloe & Carol, and so many other things, such as life and humankind.
Do I sound depressed? Hehehe!

I made up a sachet of relief drink soda and took a Senna tablet. I’m determined to get some action going from the rear end! I also decided to have some of the vegetarian GC hatsausages with tonight’s meal.
That should encourage things to soften and get moving again.
We’ll see!
Fingers crossed.

I took this shot with Kodak Tim through the balcony windows.
The blotches were covered a little by the colour of the clouds, so it looked fine.
It took a while to cook the meal. I saved everything, and as I got ready to close down the computer, I decided to have a mandarin in an orange jelly pot!
I kept snapping away at the unique cloud formations that blended with the death throws of the sunshine.
My Pareidoliaising on these two snaps went on and on. Animal’s mouths, so many faces, feet, swordfish, islands in the sea, and blotches that I just could not see!
A ribbon of white on the horizon in this one on the left.
But also, the blotches can be seen easily. Shame!
I still liked this one.

There are veggie sausages, tomatoes, and potatoes. I would have some sugar snap peas to encourage the rear-end activities, but I left them on the stove. Say no more!
I washed the pots, and before climbing into the bed (it’s a high one), I spotted and took my last snap of the day through the balcony windows.

TTFNski, Each!

Both men appeared at Nottingham Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday (15 May 2024). Mossman was jailed for three and a half years and McKenna for three years. That poor man could have died! I’d have given them life on bread & water for nourishment. No visitors. In solitary, if they dirty the cell, it stays that way. A bucket between them for excrement use. No medical treatment. Just my view, of course.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It’s been another day of confusion, I’m afraid. It all started when I woke up around 05:00 hrs. The only way I can explain how I got out of bed is that I fell out of it! Well, no, I got out and watched the nocturnal catheter bag did not slip down and give Little Inchy’s Fungal lesion a painful tug. I put my right food on the ground, and as gave way,  then a series of  kicked off! A combination that guaranteed . As I thundered downwards, I hit my lip and nose on the table, I think. But, at least I was in the perfect place to haul my overweight body back up onto the bed. Finding a cut lip, bleeding nose, and Little Inchy bleeding from the tube during the kerfuffle. So, I got the Catheter emptied and decided to medicate things and do my ablutions. No outright winner twit Trotsky and Constipation Conrad, TT had an advantage over Love-15. Hehe!
After cleaning up, I medicated first. It took some effort to stop the bleeding on the lip, and the nose still trickled a smidgeon. Then, I tended to clean up Little Inchy, painful!
Washed myself all over, well, where I could reach. Barrier creamed the stomach and around Little Inchy. Then Germoloided the sore Haemorrhoids of Harold. Germolened the lip and set about shaving, being careful not to catch the cut on the lip with the razor, successfully. But did cut my earhole a bit. As I made up and took the waste bags to the doorway, I began to feel Dizzy Dennis coming on. He’d not bothered me for months now. It could have been brought on by the wake-up fall earlier, I suppose. Dizzy Dennis was in good form. I really thought I was going to go over it again, several times over the day. But Cartilages Chloe and Carole were good to me. A sudden bout of stomach-churning and rumbling sent me back to the . This time, it was  in full control.
The lip had started bleeding again, so I cleaned it and put some antiseptic disinfectant on the top lip. This is when I noticed the Red Eye was a lot worse today, or rather, the white part of the eye was no longer white.
Carer Christopher took this picture of it when he came later. He also sent me some pictures on his mobile phone and emailed them to me.
I think the lad took them from the balcony, but do not know when he did so.
The top one was taken from the first building, Winchester Court. Cause it shows the traffic island near the bus stop.
The other two were shot on different days; they were from the balcony, I think.
Jolly decent of him!
He knows I’m struggling with my camera with the blotches that so annoy me.

Back on the timeline. I took this as I booted up the computer to update yesterday’s blog. It didn’t take long for more hassle to heave into reality and jolly-well pickle me off.

WordPress was still loading differently than the chosen graphics, which I knew nothing about until the end when I did a preview! I suspect it was me that had done something wrong, but WordPress would not let me delete them!
I had to go back to CorelDraw and save it as a different name, then reload it into WordPress while the wrong picture was selected. I found out by trial & error.
As I said, it was likely my error! Then…
All the CorelDraw icons suddenly went to large ones again. I only had the middle strip available to see the page to work on.
Pissed off, I was called to the Throne a third time! Took me ages to clean up afterwards. I found that the lip had been bleeding again. This time, I cleaned it up and put some Germolene on it this time. That should do it.
When I got back to the computer, the icons were back to the minuscule ones. There is no option for a ‘medium size’, normal, or large only, and believe me, they are tiny or massive. With my eyes, it is difficult and time-consuming.
Then…   On MS Word to create the ode, I got baffled by all the Need to reset MS Word messages. More time was lost trying to understand what various terms meant on the options offered. I gave up, I had to click a ‘Remind Me Later’ button to get it to go off of the screen. They’ll be back. Grrr!

I got the meal thought over, planned, and partly prepared at a ridiculously early hour. I can’t remember when mid-afternoon, I think.
A can of minced beef, some Mediterranean chunky tomato sauce, a packet of black bean sauce, and a drop of Mushroom Ketchup went into the saucepan with a can of garden peas and got well stirred up. I even thought I might have some chips with it. It’s been there on the stove and stirred a few more for nine hours now.
This blog is taking so long because of all the time lost with the MS Word, CorelDraw, and WordPress farcicalness. That’s not the right word, but I’m getting fed up with moaning.

The blotches were covered by the colouration in this teatime shot of the wonderful sky with beautiful, eerie clouds, I was almost talking to them.
Well, well well, a record for this year to date, it was back to the Porcelain Throne yet again.
This time, it was almost a total reversal. Ruled by Trotsky Terence. So much so that I had a go at the crossword book while sitting there, wondering if the partly protruding concert and metal Torpedo was ever going to get any further on its escape plan! More blogging time is lost.
It is nearly midnight now. I’ll have to play catch-up in the morning and get the meal done and eaten. Since I don’t have chips, I’ll have a couple of baguettes to soak up the fodder.
Back in the morning. Well, I hope to be.

Now, I can’t get into comments on WordPress! Curse!
Now, the reader page is not working. Just showing everything, not what I want. Pissed-off!
What going on?
Can anyone please advise me?

Despite today’s frustrating, annoying, problem-filled day, the literal agony of the poor, tugged-away-at-by-the-catheter tube, gunge, and blood extruding poor Little Inchie, I enjoyed the meal of the day so much.
I soon got it all inside my wobbly, overweight tummy.
Got the pots washed.
And took this snap of the wonderful view on offer through the kitchenette window. Another slightly eerie-looking one.

How did you do?

Well, there were still plenty of hassles, worries, and mistakes made. There were many visits and stings from . I have never had so many during the day before on a single day. I am greedy! Hehehe! The Doctor’s surgery gave me a tinkle. To make an appointment for them to give me painkilling injections in the knees, to counter & . I’ll see if I can remember to tell them about the latest ailment craze from . She made an appointment for 09:40hrs on Thursday, 18th April. Same day as I was to be going to the Diabetes Course in Bulwell. Can’t win ’em all… Humph, I can’t win any! Haha!
The replacement carpets ruined in the flood escapades arrived.
I cleaned the wet room again, another mess made by yours truly, Inchy. The hallway carpet had not dried yet, so I went into the wet room, taking black bits from the carpet onto the floor!
I decided to wash the bottoms of the slippers and dry them off well. Naturally, I got soapy water on the soft outers of the slipped and had to put them on the fairer to dry. Then, the need for the Throne arrived in a bit of a rush. I made more mess going in with my bare feet this time. Tried to use kitchen towels to clean it up, using my feet, but I couldn’t bend down far enough without suffering from the pain. And if I did get down, I’d probably not have been able to get up again! Then, trying to wash my feet, I got my plates of meat into the bowl alright, but at just the optimum time to cause me the worst degree of bother, as I was removing the dodgier right leg, prone to bursting into a wild dance of its own accord, I had a  , and tipped the bowl over! Thus had to clean the place up again for the third time! I took the bag of rubbish and put it in the waste chute. ; not realising how early it was in the day. (approx 05:00hrs) I’m going to get it in the neck now; from those people, I might have woken up. Tsk!
Finally, at long last, I set about having a shave (only one cut). I searched for the toothpaste. After a few minutes of failed investigation, I assumed it had dropped, and I’d taken it out in the waste bags. Arrgh! It was also the last of the prescription toothpaste.
I think at one time, I believed I was still asleep and dreaming. The showering was okay… just one clouting of my head on the power box today.
I got the medicationalisationing done. Amazing, I easily got the PPs on. No socks, of course, like a baby waiting for his nanny; the Carer will sort that out for me later
. I got on the computer. Carer Kimberly arrived. Socks on, medications, a mini-natter, and laughter were enjoyed.
There was a bit of mini-blank here. Hours later, the intercom rang out, and the first of the carpets arrived. Five minutes later, the second carpet (Well, rugs or mats, really).
arrived. We spent a few minutes setting the world to rights. She seemed to have a sore throat. I hope she is not getting the dreaded lurgy.
No idea why, but there must have been some logic in it somewhere; I made a J Sainsbury order for 14 days time. I think it may have been… no, no idea.
I called back later and returned the borrowed bag of ‘s. I was pleased to be in a position to help some other tenant out with the loan. It makes a change from flooding them out, and guilt returns!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Onwards to the photos.
The urine in the night bag looked much darker when I viewed it with my admittedly poor eyes.
The wet room farce was over. It looked good after three hours of mayhem and cleaning it up again… and again, and finally, once again this morning.
Damned good job I couldn’t sleep and got up early. Not that the poor devils living in the twelve-floors below, would appreciate it with me using the darned waste chute that early in the day. Guilt again!
This is the first picture of the view from the kitchenette that I took.
The amazing blue hue was back again. Bootiful!

I forgot to tell you, when I was cleaning the wet room, I used the new lavatory brush. Can I get it back in its hub? I still can’t.

The day pouch was filling up swiftly today. However, it was getting darker as the say went on. It usually does the opposite.
My first mug of Glengettie tea of the day. It really is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Shame I’m only allowed two cups a day. (Sob!)
The postman dropped my Anticoagulation results DVT, INR, and through the letter box. An increase in dosages. It’s a smidge low.
The most amazing cloud formation this evening.
Not unlike the news snippet above Mammatus clouds?
I see so many things in these three pictures.
I’ve put in this blog a little larger.
I hope that my fellow bloggers, Tim Price and Paul, and any reader, can see what I did in them. Who is a  Pareidolianist?
The second mug of Glengettie was enjoyed while I was blogging away merrily. The authenticity of the last bit is dubious.
Why the hell do I write so small? I know full well (at times) that my eyesight is crap, and I’ll not be able to read what I’ve written!

I got the smallest of the mats into the wet room. I decided this should be recorded for prosperity. Despite my shakes, I was determined to get a picture taken with the whole mat in it – I didn’t!

Carer Helen called, and medications were given.
After I offered them, she took about 40 of my DVDs with her, as I cannot see or hear them nowadays. She’ll collect the others later. Great, a clear out at last.

Better get the nosh prepared… it’s nearly midnight. A tastier effort tonight. Well, this morning.  (pork knuckle), Golonkowa, chips, a brown wholemeal baguette and a pot of naughty but so delicious lemon curd yoghourt.

I found it, but it took me 33 seconds.

Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said thatHehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.
