Colicky Inchy: Tuesday 29th October 2024

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
It seems I have got poikilothermia…
I can’t regulate my body temperature?
No problems with my haemadynamometer,
SYS 139, Dia 69, Pulse 74, all lower,
Temp; 33.4c, 34.9c, 35.4c getting higher,
Ointmented my fungal lesion, Aargh!
Eye drops sprayed in, I olive-oiled each ear,
Have to book an appointment with the Doctor,

To be attached to the haemacytometer,

I’ll not complain, don’t wan
t to be a bother,
Sadly, I’ve got a reputation as a yawper,
My right ankle ulcer is getting more mauver,
Yet something this morning went better…
My Porcelain Throne visit; no mess on the floor,
Constipation Conrad fought back more,

Unfortunately, this left me with my bottom sore,
So I Germoloided my sacraria,
And the surrounding area,
Did my teeth, shaved & had a shower,
And, no bother from Shirley’s Shaking Shoulder!
Got onto the computer,
Along came Sham, the Carer,
She gave a word that suited Starmer…
That word she’d found for him was pleonexia,
An excellent, most suitable nomenclature,
‘Excessive or inordinate desire to be richer’
Tonight, I was going to have some Golonkowa,

They were out of stock at Asda, though,
I’ll have lamb, carrots & colcannon mashed potato,
It may taste just like when served at a bistro?
I’ll be having spring water with it, not Cointreau,
I might add a drop of vinegar and oregano,
I’d fed up of eating food that’s cheap,
To be honest, I’m sick of life’s fiasco,
Still, it’ll soon be time for me to go,
I don’t mind… I wanted you to know,

I’ve had enough of human’s mumbo-jumbo,
I hope in heaven I can at last get some Rumpo,
It depends on the catheter, though!

Ho, Ho, Ho.!

State pensioners may lose £13,920, Wednesday after Labour Budget.

State Pensioners may be hit by tax hikes totalling over £14,000 from Wednesday when the new budget is unveiled. Labour has pledged not to raise Income Tax, VAT, or employees’ National Insurance contributions. Prime Minister Keir ‘Killer’ Starmer has cautioned that the nation’s “£22bn black hole” must be addressed, suggesting other taxes are likely to increase.
Labour’s manifesto already included a VAT rise on private school fees, but Chancellor Rachel Reeves could target other areas. This could leave households with state pension recipients facing up to £14,925 in additional annual charges. Capital Gains Tax on profits from selling second homes, business assets, shares, and valuable personal belongings is also under scrutiny.

Individuals are currently exempt from tax on the first £3,000 in profits, possibly vehicles, reports the Express. Currently, the tax stands at 18%  on earnings from second homes or 10% on other chargeable assets like shares if you’re in the basic income tax band, i.e., earn less than £50,270 per. That’s Cheery News!

I woke up for maybe the 60th time of the night, remembering that the Asda order was being delivered this morning. I was totally unaware that it was only 04:00 hrs. But any chance of getting more sleep seemed a distant dream and beyond reality, so I started fumbling with the attached nocturnal catheter bag to free it for emptying.
Once I realised how early it was, I noticed the time as I hobbled into the kitchen. I do that sometimes, you know; noticed things. Fair enough, not often enough, but still.
By the time I’d emptied and disposed of the night bag, I also realised I would have time to complete my ablutionalisationing before the Carer or delivery arrived. And without rushing things, too. I liked that!
I amassed the medical treatments and appendages, catheter straps, and blood-stoppers. I replaced the Enoxaparin hypodermic, as it had leaked and was empty. And almost casually hobbled unrushingly to the wet room. Not that I was sure I would need it; it’s very rare that I do. But I’ve been told to keep a loaded needle in the wet room, just in case the blood oozes out when I utilise the Porcelain Throne (it didn’t); I was tickled pink at remembering the Enoxaparin needle, and very nearly adopted a Smug-Mode attitude. Doing that can be near fatal with my luck. Haha!
I’d already stripped and removed the catheter support bag and strappings and was standing at the sink about to get my teeth cleaned when the inner gurgling told me to get on the WC sharply.
What a Change this morning! The evacuating contents had gone from almost liquid last night, with Constipation Conrad back in charge. There were no signs of Trotsky Terence after three weeks! I’d almost forgotten how painful Conrad could be, and he was! When I used the toilet roll, I found a few specks of blood.

But this was to be expected after getting rid of the three rock-solid torpedoes. Haha! As soon as I did the teeth, I knew that the Enoxaprin could be put back on the shelf. No bleeding at all. Although, I did manage to break off a bit more of one of the troublesome double teeth. Then, I moved on to the shaving duties. I got three nicks, but none were of any bother; a quick splash of the Brut soon stopped them.
I had a stand-up body scrub, not the delicate areas. It was far too early to wake my neighbours with the noise from the shower and drain.
Next, I got into close-quarter cleaning, ready for medicating. I started with Harold’s Haemorrhoids and the region of my bottom where things hang down a bit. Naturally, after the Constipation Conrad battle, things were terribly sore. The Germoloid soon started calming things down as it was washed and applied. I used a kitchen roll to dry that zone, and then I could check to see if there were any specks of blood, which, surprisingly, were on the towel. But not each time I wiped the area. Challenging to check cause if I twisted and bent with the mirror to try and see, the dangers were apparent, and the blood was only a few tiny specks. So, I got on with the most painful and sometimes frighteningly painful task of getting the ointment inside Little Inchie… Arrgh
After applying the Acne and eczema creams, I cover them with a layer of Germolne. I think it helps with the pain that the tube causes in the belly and lower regions with its tugging and pulling when the pouch fills up. As I wiped away the overspill, the blood reappeared on the towel—only flecks of it. The blood originated from the bottom of my onions? What next?
I’m going to ask the financial Carer to call the Doctor for me to get an appointment about this, and if she can get an appointment, to ring to see if I can get a lift to the Doctor’s appointment.
It’s hard work, innit?

I continued with the other daily medicals I needed to do: ears, eyes, ankle ulcer, Cartilages, Carole and Chloe, Arthur Itis, etc.
Then, I refitted the new Catheter pouch, bag and strappings. Getting the Protection Pants on went extremely smoothly this morning, I have to say. yet another
So, you can see why my ablutions sometimes take me over two hours. Tsk!

I started updating yesterday’s blog. Again, getting the graphics I’d made and photographs I’d taken was a hit-and-miss affair. It’s a good job. I’ve got some in the WordPress gallery to find and use again. It let me put the first four on at the top without any problem. Grumph!

Carer Sham called late today; they are busy. She checked the taps and cooler and put on my socks. Bless her.

It was slow going on WordPress, but I eventually finished it and posted it to the ether.

Carer Chloe did the midday call, combined with the domestic call. She did her best to clean up the mess I’d made by burning the food on the cooker; she found some more food out of date in another cupboard. Chloe said to call Jenny and tell her so she could hand them out, so I did. And Jenny’s Frank came up and collected them.

Ruled for hours, out of the blue.
Some bits of memory during the three hours are clear, I think. Others… well, there aren’t any, really.
To such an extent that I just looked at the diary and found I’ve made an Iceland order for next week?
I’d worry about these spells, but I only forget to.

I just cleaned the computer, and it let me save some photos. They are out of order, of course, and belated. Grrr!

I think this was the first shot of the day.
Machine washed wee-wee’d in slippers.
Why are they all blue?

Waste bags I took to the chute.

Asda order.

Made a cock-up here!

Aha, fresh foods!

Chips, lamb burgers & ready meals.

Does the fridge still have room in it?

Afternoon shot?
I took many more but no save.

Evening.

A bit later… I think.

Even later, as Carer Chrisa arrived.
Aren’t these grand?

I’m going to get a summat to eat; I might not bother photographing it. No, yes, I will! Will I?

Back in the morning.

Good Morning.
Updated this blog.
Just the meal photo.

Minced lamb & onions, potatoes,
carrots, bread, yoghourt.
Then some Marmite rice cakes.
Memory-wise, after about 20:00hrs,
were blank or foggy.

Hoping for a visit next week from a summat-therapist, phenomenologist, psychotherapist, psychoanalyst or whatever. Then I can… Ah, I’ve Gorrit! A Physiotherapist is being arranged by the Rehabilitation and Falls Service. I can remember now the chap who called the other day showing concern over the state of my knees… at least, I think he did. Today was just as before, in and out of connection with reality. I worry terribly about this… then start fretting cause I can’t remember the name of the vitamins I’m told I am crucially (Not keen on that word!) short of on my last INR DVT Warfarin blood test results. Then, I forget about everything as I go into a mind blank or seizure, coming out with not a worry on my mind… until something is mentioned that starts the cycle again.
Up and down emotionally like a yo-yo.

Much better colour this morning!

Misty, no rain.

ANOTHER FOOD ORDER COCK-UP!

I cannot recall making this order for Iceland at all!
Obviously, it was me who made it, cause all my favourites were in it! Understand that this is my third food order this week! No Carer Kara to limit or check on things; she is off for two weeks on holiday. More of the regulars may be off, too. Because Carers from other establishments are calling. This tests my memory to its limits and beyond, trying to remember things that need doing on each visit. No idea if I’ve said right or wrong to the Carers; it’s frustrating. Back to the unwanted, unnecessary Iceland order…
Got the bags into the kitchen.
Lucozade treats, iced drinkie, bleach and what the heck was getting more pasta sauce in for? I’ve at least ten bottles on the shelf now! I suppose I could claim that can take the blame?
Choca-blocker fridge!
Unbelievable!
I need help with this!

Trotsky held the advantage.

The NHS sent me a new ailment warning wristband.
Any more, and I’ll run out of wrists to put them on. Hehe! Ah, well!

I found this one! Smug Mode Engaged!

THE MEAL.
A cold one.
Orange and brown sliced tomato baguettes
slathered with butterless salted butter.
Surimi slices, and sliced cold potatoes.
Gorgeous!

I think Carers Chris & Victor called today, and some unknown ones.
Sister Jane called me… or did I call her?
bled a lot and often.
.
And were busy giving me bother. But particularly painful was . I seem to be getting pains at the back of both cartilages recently. When walking or lifting either leg. Electric-like Peripheral Neuropathy pains in both ankles.
All I can say is thank heavens that I am so pain-tolerant, brave, heroic and spit & laugh in the face of pain. Hahaha!

I’m sending you tons of good karma!

Not a single left! I’m having to keep waking up and emptying the day bag overnight.
Which will help cure the bladder infection, I’m sure!
Just look at the colour of this morning’s urine!
I’m assuming that they are having trouble getting the pouches. But no one has said anything to me.
But 🎵 It’s not unusual 🎵

With the two big leg & ankle straps for both of the, gallons of water, to keep refilling the , and my nibbles all over the room, the place looks like a smidgen ramshackle!

One of my worst-ever shots of the morning view.
.
I think the planet in view, might have been erm… I’ve forgotten the name now. Tim Price in  New Mexico gets some brilliant shots of this planet… was it Venus? Not that you can see it properly in my close-up effort.
You can just about see it in the first shot, very tiny, in the first photo. But I got the shakes on the next one, I’ll try to remember to ask Tim why this happens to me.

My left ankle. No change
My right ankle is much better!
The right leg. Is also looking better!

Morrisons Unisex Protection Pants on today.
Don’t suppose you needed to know that, sorry!

Sister Jane called me on the phone. A good natter, grumps & mutual ailments discussion was enjoyed.

Arrived, and got the leg & ankle straps on for me, no bother!

I was sat-sitting at the computer, with a blank stare on my face and also with a blank mind. I noticed my own reflection on the screen; horrendous it was!
I took two snaps… the first one turned out to be yet another semi-mystery one…
What the heck part of my body, was this above?
Ah, that was me! Hehe!

The Royal Mail delivered the AA batteries that I’d ordered from eBay. It said they were Duracell, but…
they were a Procell Constant brand.

A mug of Thompson’s Punjana tea, in the Jenny-donated China mug. Which was forgotten all about… when arrived. He removed the leg and ankle straps, but of course, he could not attach the , as we’ve run out of the nocturnal bags… yet again.

I took two views of the same area through the balcony windows. Why two? No idea now!

I slow-cooked the redskin potatoes for about 7 hours or so, then sliced them and put them in the oven, to crisp them up. Later, I got an imitation meat pie in the air-fryer.
Overall taste rating: 5/10.

I’d been slightly pea-brained all through today.
Due to worrying about so many things that I have no control over, I suppose. Important to me things, that I just cannot achieve without help!
The fretting and self-condemnationing have undoubtedly made things worse than they were when I woke up.
My confused vagueness of thought did not stop from constantly whittling away at my already minimum confidence. This causes me even more anxiety; It’s not as if I need any more worries, physical or mental hassle, is it? Fears, apprehension and scepticism shadowed by pangs of terrible unfathomable guilt… Or it may be shame. Are enough, no, maybe too much to cope with as it is.

Down Only Seven Times today!

Alla Salute!

A day of vagueness, the brain full of wanderlust.
After staying up until the early hours of the morning hours to try and make some progress on blogging. I didn’t get up until the Carer woke me.
The ablutionalisationings took me well over two hours, and I could not shower either, or even wash the usual one foot now, with the new strapping over the compression sock, and on the masses of compression bandages on top of the woolly wrapping, I’m beginning to smell I think?
The day buzzed by, and no blogging was done at all.
And I nearly had a tumble and fall.
So forgive this catch-up for being small…
It’s Monday night now, as I type and scrawl,
Will I get any sleep at all?
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Straps and diabetic socks on the left…
both legs…
& ,
in both…
crippling .

Views from the balcony.
The Tree Copse, can no longer visit, sadly.
The mud-slide dwindling.
Straight ahead. Gloom!

But in the afternoon…
The cloudless sky did look wonderful.

Evening Nosh Preperationing…
Sorting out the dodgy Asda potatoes.
Then I cheered exponentially
(Is that the right word?).
Yes, I looked it up!
Flavour Rating: 7/10 – Decent nosh.

I felt I was just about to nod off, and a mob of,
happy-go-lucky, pot-smoking yobboes in the
bottom field got the Reggae music going.
Bless them!

My Frustration & Hatred Is Growing!

Excellent 3 for the urine night pouch colouring!

Feet after the little wander around in town yesterday.

Laundry bag return awaited.

I’m not sure why…
I took two photos of the waste bags?

A blurry early morning shot of the car park.

Then two other bad shots of the view ahead.

Got up around 03:30hrs, and the use of the did not arrive until gone 07:00hrs. dominated. Took some cleaning up!
.

Looks like a ghostly seat! I hung the towel over the shower chair and turned on the heater to dry it off. Cunning!
I remembered doing this an hour or two later, and I went to turn off the wet room emersion heater.

The Meridian Domestic lady did not arrive. Hope she was on holiday and not poorly. So I hoovered the hallway. Unfortunately, I my toe on the trolley walker wheel, right against the . This may have had other lesser men cringing and wingeing, but not me. I just laughed it off!

Made an early fine feast of sliced baked potatoes, soy imitation sausages, beetroot & tomatoes, red & yellows. Naturally, no sooner had sat down to watch the TV with the meal tray on my knees, and my taste buds tingling!
14:35hrs: The opticians rang. Can I bring some old spectacle frames in to use in the varifocal spectacles? The one the Carer took for me is too old to get a lens made to fit it?
Back to the meal…
14:48: The Doctor rang to say the Blepha decision will be emailed to me later. Humph!
Back to the meal…
15:00hrs: DVT Anticoagulation rang; the DV vein draining has been cancelled. They will make me another appointment.
Back to the meal…
The potatoes were barely lukewarm by then. How does this happen to me so often? Whatever time I get around to eating, someone will call, or the phone will burst into life.
Still, the nosh deserved an 8.4/10 rating!

Took this slightly better shot of the Chestnut Way car park in front of the flats when I washed the pots up.

I decided to watch some TV again. Huh! Turned it on again, and some sad adverts greeted me.
Kids have to live using underground water.
I noticed my new glasses on top of the cabinet and realised how lucky I am really, compared to some. Then…

The TV went off. A message something about; check your external and internal ariels? It came back on later again.

Oh, getting dark?
Five minutes later…
Another five minutes.

Did the eye treatment. used, then when it had dried, the Gel.

After 18:00hr Carer Benjamin called, and we found we were missing some tablets. I was in a pickle about it, cause it was Atorvastatin, and I had a weirdly strange feeling that Richard mentioned something on Monday to me about it coming later when he kindly fetched the prescriptions for me… but of course with , I’m just not sure. So, none tonight. Benjamin said he would have a look around down in the office for me in case they were in there. Thanked him, and he said he was doing the late call; if the tablets are in the Meridian office, he’d bring them up with him.

I got back on the computer, to find that...

Late Carer Carer arrived. He brought up the missing tablets and issued them with the Peptac; no painkillers were needed. Then attached the night pouch to He also responded to my request for him to hang up the laundry, which was only dressing gowns; bless him.

Turned off this computer, and I got settled in the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966, moth-eaten, cringingly-beige-coloured, grotty, bedraggled, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden itch-inspiring, not working recliner in search of sleep. I put the TV on, cause that usually helps me to nod off, when the commercial adverts come on… but only when there is something on I wanted to watch. Hehe!

Evening, All!

Inchie: Monday 1st May 2023

– – – – Or is that 1.84bn? – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -.

Another ‘in and out of it’ day.
However, far fewer ‘Out-of-its’ than ‘Almost with it’ moments.
Genuine ‘With-It’ events you can count on one hand.
I still managed to get so far behind with everything.
Make multiple errors & mistakes.
Not a bad day, really, for me!
No, that might be stretching the point!
Sorry about the delightful moments of my Pareidoliaing.
I found a feast of figures in the clouds at various
times during the day & night. ..
A weakness of mine, as you know!

Up at 04:30hrs; Throne and ablutions were tended to.

Care Richard arrived. Nice to see him. He got the prescription medications issued and evaluated. Managed a mini-natter.

Healthier-looking pins today?

Only three visits to the challenging today.
was not so bothersome, but… the
were back again. Humph!

No work was done on my unknown neighbour’s house today.
Fair enough; it is Bank Holiday!

Got some fresh veg cooking, and am going to add them to a can of cheap vegetable soup. My designs were to have this at around 13:00hrs. But as per, they didn’t work out. I got the meal at 22.45hrs.
Better late than never!

A few Pareidoliaing moments were enjoyed, as the sky with its fast-moving clouds turned a smidgen blur… Two eyes, or marbles at the bottom of the first effort, above.
Higher in the sky shot. An explosion taking place?
A Pareidoliaing success here. (Above)
It looked to me as if a keyhole had been cut through the clouds as if they were made of snow? I can see a head in there, as well.

The fresh and canned vegetables were merged in the saucepan and flavoured a little… Then got forgotten about for a good few hours!

Later on, the skies began to lose their blue tinge a little.
I can see two whales kissing each other?
And a swan taking to flight?

Ten minutes later, the sun started to descend.
Looks like a Red-Dwarf craft in there?.

Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…

Late afternoon.
Down comes the sun.
Pareidoliaing: I see an animal’s head
with its jaws open in the clouds? Mayhap
chasing the small clouds on the right?.
A mane on the animal’s head?.

Back onto the computer…
Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…

The handsome-looking mirrors & Smoke boss Man Fries, paid with Liberty-Global’s $ 24 billion to buy Virgin Media, doesn’t seem to be interested in this constant failure? Yet manages to afford flashy untrue, advertisements on the TV, of how great, and reliable… (Sorry, I had to stop for a laugh there!) Virgin Media is.
Mind you, my experiences with BT a few years ago, were almost as bad as Liberty-Global-Virgin Media.

acci-whoop

I was taking out the potatoes from the oven to add to the soup.
I thought about other people with neurotic problems, and wondered how they coped when the shakes, shudders or topples happen?
At least with my having this as one of my ailments, there are times, like this incident, when can be a semi-blessing. As I tore the finger from the oven door, there was no pain whatsoever. Of course, as ‘s habit, when the nerve ends finally get the message to the brain to tell it that It’s in pain… it could be seconds or hours later, the belated agony can catch you out.
Come think of it, it did today. I was washing out a spring water bottle, when the message got through to my brain, and dropped the flipping thing. Hey-Ho!

The sunset, such as it was, was not photographed very well…

.
A wide shot first.
Couldn’t get it right, as it looked to me.
.
A close-up shot.
Couldn’t get it right, as it looked to me..
After the sun had descended.
I got it betterer, as it looked to me.

The Meal Was Served

.
Not a very pretty-looking meal at all!
But, it went down nicely!
I’m going to try another like this tomorrow.
The Carer called as I was scoffing at it.
I soon finished it off. Taste-Rating: 8.3/10!
Medications taken. A little chin-wag was enjoyed
The gal is off to Skeggie with her boyfriend tomorrow.
Hope she enjoys it.

Then, although so late, I decided to make a start on this blog.
Else it’s going to take too long in the morning if I don’t make a start.
This was the case; when I opened the Internet…

Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…
AGAIN!

Their Trustpilot Rating is no surprise!
This made me check on BT…
.
Blimey, an alternative load of crap!

Things could be worse I may have caught pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis!

Not an alackaday day!
Apart from the return of and , the day began well.
I mosied along with no stress for hours and hours.
Fair enough, making errors along the way.
Then Firefox kicked off with its confusing Properties analysis.
None that meant anything to me.
That was the low point of today.
Well, the worst low point.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
.

Several trips to the today, starting with the moment I stirred back into pretend-life from the evenings uncomfortable -filled, ever-waking, so-called sleep. Humph!
I’m still awaiting the arrival of a Nottingham City Homes plumber to mend the W.C.’s none refilling water tank. This Saturday, four or five visits and trudging the water bowls from the kitchen to the wet room, each bringing on and the current to the fore. Still, it gives me some exercise, I suppose. Shame about the pain, though. Been a few weeks now, I think, since I was told they had been notified. Annoyingly, the cold tap has stopped running now, as well.
I got some spuds in the slow cooker to do later.
Then the mammoth task – getting the done.
No shower, too early, the noise would disturb my neighbours who may be sleeping. I think the ablutioning took about two hours, counting the medicationalising.
A pretty morning sky out there this jolly morning?

Had a peep at the progress of the house being updated and extended.
It looked like a fair bit of work had been done since yesterday’s shot.
“Auf Wiedersehen Pet’..
I think! The fridge was looking sadly low on supplies? But I’ve got an Iceland order coming today… Well, I think I have… no I’m certain one is coming today… It is Saturday, isn’t it? I wish they would make it easier to remember somehow; then again, I’d still get confused if they did.

Time to get the computer on to start updating yesterday’s blog. Guess what?

It was still offline when I heard the tune coming from the doorbell.
The most kind deliveryman carried the bags through to the kitchen for me. Much appreciated, I gave him a choice of nibble treats in thanks.
Checked to see if Liberty-Global-owned Virgin Media had come back online yet… Hehehe! Nope!
So carried on putting the nosh away.
Only two items (four in count) for the freezer. I thought I’d ordered Vegan ice cream, but I got a twice-the-size Walls vanilla soft scoop. And ready vegan meals called shredded something with potatoes and sauce. I had one later on; not bad at all.
I’d stocked up with some Schweppes tonic water, vanilla-flavoured liquid ice cream and bleach. No, I won’t be drinking the bleach.
A final photographicalisation of the fridge, compared to the one before the delivery came, shows little difference in there? Did I miss something off?

I returned to the computer desk to find that Mr Fries had managed to get the signal back to Nottingham for me. Bless Him!

In case I forget later, the smoke & mirrors, mass money manipulation master [someone who draws attention away from often embarrassing or unpleasant figures or issues, distorts or blurs facts], figure-shuffling, slithery sidestepping, no idea how to run an effective Internet, Oligarchical gentleman, let his Virgin Media fail on three more occasions today. Huh! But I like him! How kind of him.

Visit two: And was even sloppier than the previous attendance.

I pressed on and finally got the Friday blog done; eleven hours after starting it! Then took a photo of the being upgraded house. Again! Seems I forgot I’d already done it.

No sooner had I scribbled this down on the notepad. It went down again!

Well, how surprising!

Crying and stamping my feet would have been an option. Along with gnashing teeth (although this was not a good idea, what with giving me stick)

I meandered into the kitchenette and took some pictures of the great dank, dark afternoon clouds.
So perfect for a pareidoliain such as myself. I had a feast of figure-finding in each of the frames.
Hahaha! Finding faces, animals, ghosts, icebergs, a finger, eyes, broomstick and testicles within. Other items as well.

Back on the computer.

Then, the computer proceeded to confuse me beyond limitations!

Why, what for was the reason?
What was going on?

I was entirely lost and thought this was the computer’s end. Or the  Firefox internet, at the very least!

A Dracular depression, with a dread of fear and frustration, dawned.

After trying to find out what I could do, I got an option to reinstall the browser that came up on the screen.

Not the foggiest idea of which choices to go for; Reinstall, Repair or the other one, which I cannot remember.

I opted to reinstall, then got this message up. I clicked on next, and the internet disappeared from the screen after some flashing.
Totally lost now?.
So, I gave up and turned off the computer, left it a few minutes, and tried to open it again, which it did… But all the icons, tabs, etc., were missing! And, when I tried to finish the CorelDrawing, the mousse was doing the oddest of things. I clicked on a single object, and tons of them were selected, but I could not drag or move them. Couldn’t close anything down.
Turned it off at the plug, fingers crossed.

Got the ready meal made and spuds sliced and on the plate.
acci-whoop The cut finger didn’t bleed too much.
acci-whoop The dropped and broken pot of lemon mousse missed my foot as it fell to the kitchen floor and burst open. And hitting my head on the corner of the counter when bending down to pick it up… well, that hurt a bit!

Enjoyed the evening view of the dank sky with its pretty white clouds, which surprised me.

Aha, fodder time. This is the rather drab-looking ready meal with some BBQ sauce and the last of the crocked-pot-cooked-for-too-long potatoes, Desiree. A pot of lemon mousse and a hungry Inchie to eat it. And jolly-nice it was, too!   Taste: 7.8/10.

The night sky was pictured a couple of times while I was washing up.

The evening Carer arrived. Medications were issued, and a little nattering session was enjoyed. I mentioned the browser problems and turned it back on to show her… to my utter amazement, everything missing earlier had returned to the screen?

I was too tired to do any more blogging, so I turned it off and promptly .
The last Carer woke me up. Medications were sorted out, and a minute or two of chinwagging was significantly favoured.
Said my farewells and thanks and took this photographicalisation through the kitchen window of the night’s heavy rain.

Then settled into the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, grungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus-encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner, in search of Sweet Morpheus.
He was not easy to find or keep when I eventually found him!

May your fortunes ferment with festivities!

A LONG DAY
My memory this Tuesday was very similar to the unreliable; the brain was constantly losing it completely or partially, so often, then returning to a slow, crawling working state. There were a few moments in there all the same. Rare flashes of the old Inchie. Unfortunately, which state I was in and when is a jumbled-up mélange, an assortment of miscellaneous thoughts in my memory bank. Few of them made sense or had anything to do with the matter or problem at hand at any particular moment. Similar to my .
I took a lot of photographs, most of which I think I can recall taking.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

My feet looked less bloated… I think.

Waking up view.

Three visits to the in the first hour.
I hope a plumber will come soon. Refilling the water tank by hand from the kitchen sink might give and a bit of a workout on me, but I’d sooner go without the extra pains; from hauling buckets of water from the kitchen sink to refill the non-working W.C. tank!
Plea to Nottingham City Homes maintenance plumbers:
PLEASE COME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE – Thank You.

I got a delightful selection of fresh-cut vegetables into the slow cooker. Seasoned with just sea salt and a drop of Worcestershire sauce. Carrots, peas, leeks, potatoes and swede.
Oh, and added some soy bacon bits.

The Asda delivery arrived.

.
Obviously, without some products.
The chap took the carriers through to the kitchen for me.
And arrived. She whipped the things away for me, bless her cotton socks.
.
Took these snaps after had put the food away and medicationalised me prescriptionally. Plenty of fodder to last me now! The cupboards are all full.
.
The fridge was looking betterer too..

I had one of the longest periods of Mind-Blanks ever! Well, I can recall odd bits; While I was supposedly out of it, Carers called, and I did a lot of work on the blog for Monday to get it posted off, at last. But this is not really remembering; it’s just that I found the blog done, although poorly, and the Carers had signed the log sheet after I came back to semi-consciousness but had still been operational? Sort 0ff…

I also found that the day bag had filled up quickly. That or I’d been ‘out-of-it’ longer than I thought?
The urine colour was much improved on that which I woke up to find it a 2 0r 3 on the card.

Apophenialising with these two slate afternoon shot

♥ The Haematology, Deep Vein Thrombosis, Warfarin, Anticoagulation Clinic’s Nurse Hristina called…
A welcome pleasure to see this wonderful, kind, highly desirable, Nurse, Hristina. (Christina in Polish)
Got the blood taken caringly the sweetheart. Off she went, and a short time sulking I spent. Hehe!

A few hours later, a Landline Call Arrived…At the time, I was a smidgen miffed, because I was deep into CorelDrawing and caring mistakes, unwanted duplicates, and searching for a graphic I started yesterday, but had forgotten which file I’d put it and what I’d named it!
It was the lady receptionist from Sherrington Park Medical Practice. The nice lady with a clear voice that is in tune with and receptive to my hearing aids, thankfully.
She gave me the new dosages for Warfarin. Increased, due to my INR level now having gone up from a low 2.2 up to a high 4.4!
She asked if I could make an appointment to have the test taken next week. I pointed out that , and are making hobbling about difficult & painful. She said she’d see if it could be arranged for someone to call on me, and she’ll let me know. (Hard nothing yet)

Got the potato & veg soup done.
Had a wholemeal baton with it.
Flavour: 7.8/10. Not bad at all!

The sun was lowering, and it was getting darker. I wanted to take shots to see if any would be suitable for a blog top photo.
No, the sun needs to be at the far left or right…
Got the position, but a terrible photo”
Not far enough to the left…
Mmm… No good, shame!

came. Checked the day pouch for me. Issued some Peptac & Painkillers, and took some shots of the sunset, before it disappeared! I grabbed the Kodak and took one from the kitchenette, window…
Bootiful! Although not a good shot, I rushed it. on the way back into the other room…

Of course, there was no whining, howling, cursing or swearing...  well, I think I may have expleted an “ARRGH!”. But of course, no crying, bad language or spitting. .
It was in one respect, an almost perfectly done act of a I’ve ever done. Spot in the right foots , it didn’t even need to bang any other toe; if I had, it couldn’t have been more painful!

Peace & Good Will to All!

A bit of a blip with this one…
The veggie sausages were not very good.
So, I tried a bite of one, & binned them all.
Everything else was super-tasty!

A seasoning from Poland. Not unlike
Worcester Sauce, but milder.

I got settled… well, I did my best to, in the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly-sickening beige coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly, germ-producing, falling to pieces, rickety, food residue-collecting, horrendously uncomfortable recliner.

The legs and feet were both far less swollen than of late.
Just about at the point of nodding off, and the evening Carer called.
We had a laugh as she medicated me, and little natter, which I enjoyed greatly, and off she went on her rounds.

Was not interested in my wishes.
Then, the developed.
I’d decided to just put up with them… and
they stopped suddenly, out of the blue!
I spent hours waiting for them to kick-off again.

It’s Saturday tomorrow.
I can say with sorrow,
Saturday could be my Alamo…
Cause my EQ tells me it’s so!
And he’s never wrong, you know!
Summat will crash, go wrong or blow!
I’ll be depressed or lose my mojo?
Collapse in a heap, like a ball of dough?
The chance of good luck – is zero!
I’ll take no chances, not go alfresco,
To avoid being hit by a VW Scirocco?.
I don’t know what it’ll be, though…
I may choke on a marshmallow?
King Charlie’s Coronation…
Costing a scaled-back $125 million.
For me, Saturday’ll hold no jollification,
But, I write with lallation…
I think I may be due for damnation.
But it could just be a misapprehension.
My mind’s on an obambulation!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Less time than ever today. Tsk!My feet were well down this morning. Very little bloating
Particularly the toes – I could move them!

But the overnight

The Carer told me was graded as a ‘Four’ on the NHS colour scale.
I’ve had worse, but still disappointing.

When it came to the first emptying of the day bag, things looked much better to me, shade-wise.
A 2.5 or 3, methinks.

Down came the rain.
Took this from the bottom of the kitchen window.

Time for a little tip…
.
When selecting a cooking spoon, to stir your boiling vegetables. It’s best not to pick one that has little hole in it to strain whatever.

The rain soon stopped, leaving me with a
Pareidolian’s Delight view of the clouds.
Can you see the same in the above snap?
The shoulder, ears, head, eyes, nose and open jaw
of a beast in the centre?
Marvellous!

The only call of the entire day to the .
As per usual, hauling the water into the non-working W.C.
water tank; and kicked off, and is still giving
jip, some 23hrs later! The promised attention of a Nottingham City Homes plumber that ILC (Independent Living Coordinator), Oberstgrüppenfuhreress, and Primo Ballerina, Warden Deana said, did not come to fruition. Then again, I’m not fully with things, so may have got the day wrong?

The landlines bust into action…

At last, communication from DHL regarding the order not arriving.
It seems that the wrong postcode was on the parcel. Confirmed the right one, and it will be delivered in the morning.

The majority of the afternoon was a complete Memory Blank. Yet I’d been working on the blog?

Finding these photos help trigger the memory a smidge…
Aha, the sun beginning its descent, got through some clouds.
Getting pretty now…
Moved to take a photo from another angle. I’m sure I recall seeing lots of items and figures in this last one at the time. But can’t see or remember what they were? No!

I took… (Well, thought I did) a photo of the meal I’d made.
I#m sure I recall taking it underneath the 60w light bulb, to avoid shadows – but yet once again, it was not on the SD card.
The same thing happened when I (though I did) took a photo of the urine colour. Then the finger bleeding. Then one of the fallen-over stacks of waste bags and mess it made on the kitchen floor.
Not one of these efforts made it to the SD Card!
It must be with the help of . Another way of passing the blame there? Hehe!

The Carer arrived, waking me up from a rare slumber and put the night pouch onto my day bag on for me. Think we had a natter about something, sure I enjoyed it, but, what is was about is just another of the mysteries of the Woodthorpe Court, with the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodaemonic apparitions, and other grotesqueries that haunt the hallways and lobbies, searching for Inchie; to curse with bad luck, create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare. worry and confuse me!

I went to the door with the Carer, to lock it in case the yobbos return and walk in again… have I told you about that night? No? I will!
At about 02:30hrs, I was hobbling in the dark to the wet room to utilise the . Obviously, I did not hear them coming in, but the light as they opened the door showed an outline of the youths who came in. Two lads, a very tall one, a shorter, plumper one and a girl who came in first. They saw me, must have been a shock for them; I was naked… They shouted something, then one of them sort of screeched, said a few words, and they legged it.
I reported this to the Management. Apparently, they had been seen by other residents too. Nothing happened. No one came for a description of the intruders. No one contacted me… give them time, though; it only happened about six months ago.
Where was I before I lost the plot there?

Oh, yes, as I got back I checked the taps and cooker in the kitchen, and got the Kodak to take some shots of the late evening view.

I did some pareidoliaising. Islands, countries on a black sea?
Tried to take a close up shot…
But it didn’t come out well.
But these made it to the SD card?

Had lost interest again. I kept putting the TV on and off, hoping that my semi-successful trick would nod me off during the commercial breaks. I did slip off a few times, but only for minutes at a time.
I recall getting up, carrying the night pouch in the bucket, and glancing at the one remaining working clock in the flat clock. The four wristwatches, wet room and kitchen clocks all have dead batteries… it was 03:10hrs. Anyway, I got to the , which was a waste of time; another change in the Command Line, Constipation Konrad was back in charge.

CW6
Eventually, after a good, but failed go at the crosswording, I returned to the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner. En route to the front room, I gave myself a
