Another out-of-it day,
A shortage in short-term memory,
No change in the depressive misery,
Computer faults so many…
Jobs gotten done were derisory.
Life is becoming a quandary!
I’m in depression, sorry…
But daily living’s becoming is a mystery.

I rose from my so-called sleep at 03:25 hrs. The nocturnal wee-wee was a better colour, but not much. Hehe!
The ankles were looking a lot better this morning.
The
overnight were far less as well. They strike a little further up the leg each day, of course. Last night was my shortest sleep of the year, so the strikes ought to have been less. I just worked that out… amazing! Hahaha!
The waste bag was sorted into one, and I placed it near the door. At this point, I had a visit from
. I’ve not had any sudden head-spins from him for a while. But fortunately, I was in the hallway at the time, less than an arm’s length away from the walls, to steady myself. I feared he might kick off again later, but he didn’t. Mind you, I did have the odd session from the
routine. One during a visitation from Carer Kara.

I pondered over what to have for Nosh.
Lame or Cumberland pie & potatoes.
Undecided yet…
Finally, after much straying off and doing other things, I got the Tuesday blog done and posted.
appeared. We had a natter while he put on my socks and issued the medications. I remembered to ask him to remind me about taking the B17 vitamin tablet.
A little drizzle was falling, so IO went onto the balcony to take this shot of the end car park. The mudslide had been driven through a few times.
came but had little time; she checked the mail and bank letters for me. A financial visit. I’m sure there were things I wanted to ask her. She checked the emails with me, British Gas, the Bank and an unknown one. Kara said to leave it alone; it’s not a danger.

We then had a little mist for an hour or two.

I had all sorts of problems with the computer. I spent many hours on it, stopping when I got brain fog and didn’t know what to try or not risk changing. I’d nip out to take a photo or two of the view. Getting back to find I’d forgotten what and where I was with the computer. But I was still getting messages that: Your hard drive is full, and I could not save anything at all! After clearing out so much artwork and saving graphics, I finally, hours later, was able to save the work I’d done on CorelDraw. This fiasco was enough for anyone to lose it, but me? No, there had to be another problem, didn’t there?

I finally got around to downloading the photos I’d taken: I’d DONE IT AGAIN! With the worry over the computer, I’d left the SD card out of the camera; no photos! I gave up on the computer and made a meal.
.
Cumberland pie and a few potato chunks roasted in the oven to go with it.
arrived just as I’d finished the meal. That was jolly good timing from Israel! He removed the socks and medicated me.
.
I got them, but it took me a lot longer than the given eleven seconds to get there.
Fare Thee All Well!

Front car park, from the kitchen window.
Misty morning.
Late morning, I think.
It looked like the road resurfacing was all done.
Afternoon or teatime sky.
I missed the sunset due to a mind-blank.
Most disappointing taste, too!

Dark wee-wee, bloodied pee!
A red-hued morning view.
Tsk!
Made up the bed. Well, flung a quilt over it.
Today’s fodder order arrived.

So, I was frustrated and self-critical as the landline burst to life. The Physiotherapist made sure I was aware of his arrival.

The first artistic one. Haha!
The second one.

Ablutions and medications done.

Made up the waste bags.
Must remember to ask the Carer to take the laundry down with them for me.
Did my best to take a snap of the morning view.
Tried again. Although it came out wrong again, it did have the appearance of modern art?
The third effort was like the first two. Hehe!
Aha, not too bad this one.
Pressed on with the CorelDrawing.
Took this photo, followed 5 minutes after…
of one to the left.
Later the mist fell…
Well, it looked like yet another fire was going in Sherwood. I assumed it was maybe the cannabis growers burning the used stalks and plants, though. No Fire engines appeared.
Managed to catch the sun on its way down.
I’m passing well today. Hehe!
The break in the clouds earlier was still in view as the darkness began to fall.
Nearly miss this one of the sun.
Two minutes later, she’s gone!

Horrible photo.
I can recall taking these cloud shots.
Gorgeous!
Flowing well.
Gave up with the blogging, meal in oven and put the TV on. At least I found the remote control tonight.

Boy, the skies had changed.

Dagnabbit, and balderdashski! I’d missed two days off and doubled up on another. And now they are all out of order and sync. Crying was an option, as was cursing and self-recrimination… not as far as suicide, though! Chris thought it was funny. Huh! Boy, was I irked at my own stupidity! No meal or TV watching tonight; I had to correct the errors and spent an aeon getting them sort of nearly, well, something like an imitation of a workable order.
Not a good shot, Tsk!
A smidge betterer?

The Catheter Katie night pouch did not have much in it, and it was far too dark.
Removed it from the day bag. This new style, which I believe is a woman’s version, has a really thick, long tubing. The release valve at the bottom is touching my slippers; it’s that long! When it fills, the weight drops it down even further, making reaching it to release the valve to be emptied, is difficult and painful.
Morning view ahead.
The misty sky.
A nearly full front car park this afternoon.
I painfully bent down to get to the release valve, which with the weight of urine, was now on the floor! And noticed afterwards the state of the top of the leg, where the extra-thick (No, I’m not talking about me, Hehe!) and long tube had worn a shape into the leg.
I wiped off the trickles of blood and took this picture of it. I’m hoping Kara can call the District Nurses, or wherever she calls it, to ask them if there is any chance they can swap back to the old shorter ones.
Easy-peasy one today… even I spotted the mistake. Albeit, it took me longer than the 4 seconds.

Wobble and a double moon.

Aha, Gorrit!
Later shot from the kitchen.

Gotten Himmel! That suddenly filled up!
Carried them into the kitchen
No potatoes! But hot dog rolls and baguettes last a week if I use the freezer. Drink treats for the nurses & carers. There are low-cal sausages and some franks in there, too. Wholemeal cob hot dogs?

The freezer is full, too!
Even darker wee-wee now.
Carer Chris saw how long and so low down the new Catheter day pouch was. He tried to shorten the thick, wide tubing, but it was glued on, so there was no go. We both think this was a female bag. I’m in great pain as I now have to bend down as low as my ankle to get to the release valve for emptying, which is not suitable. I’ll ask Kara if she can see if these are ladies’ bags tomorrow.
Massive tubing!
The release valve is far too low down.
Lovely view.
Late night shot. Not too bad for me.
Made hot dogs and had them with tomatoes and mushrooms with a splash of low-calorie tomato sauce in each sliced roll. The chips are processed out of a packet cold, which the Nurse tells me are low in carbs and calories, and I’m allowed to eat.
I only got three of them in 25 minutes!

The only decent photos taken all day. Of the sky and moon. Peripheral Neuropathy Pete put an end to decent Kodak Tim shots then. Not many were taken today, and I lost my confidence a little. the Kodak Batteries lasted for only a day, about 12 pictures worth. Later, I put the last of the Kodak batteries in; they are… were, two batteries a day used since buying them. A warning here is anyone is tempted to buy them from Amazon or eBay… don’t! They should be called Energy-less!

After a few hours farting about making mistakes on the blog, I opened the box of Walkers Worcester Sauce-flavoured 21g potato sticks and gobbled it up. Not the whole box you understand, just one packet. Hehehe!
I went to use up the last of the chips. Doing the daily meal preparations…
these were the last of my chips, and I was going to have a last feast of them, now they have been banned by the doctor! After the pain of getting down to retrieve them and then getting back up and cleaning them, I
carefully got them back in the oven and cooking. Then made up a baguette with the usual No-Butter Butter slathered thickly on the wholemeal roll. How will I manage with eating no potatoes? Can witchcraft help? Praying did
Here it is! Sadly, these are my last chips until I get the diabetic level down to a safer level… even then, and if I can do so, will they allow me to once again eat
the staple food of the 1940s-born generic Nottingham proletariats ever again? Will this be the final score high score of my noshes?
