I jumped awake around 06:30 hrs, and with trepidation. Or should that be anxiety? Naymatter. I feared getting up late would leave me no time to finish everything and get to the doctor’s on time. I mused over what needed doing and hoped I’d not leave the hot water tap running again. This semi-panic
helped force me out of bed to check the taps and empty the nocturnal catheter pouch.
Within minutes, before I’d even gotten to the wet room and kitchen, I decided that walking all that way to the surgery and back was now a no-go! My balance was all-to-cock, and Cartilages Carole & Chloe were repaying me for falling on them last night, cruelly so, too! This eased my mind, and I avoided having to rush around to get ready in time, especially with me waking up so late. I’m struggling with both cartilages playing up at the same time.
I settled myself, got the things into the wet room, got the heater towels, and was ready for a long, pleasant, enjoyable
ablutioning session.
arrived as I was shaving. The lad helped me remove the catheter support tackle and trimmed my neck-hole. I couldn’t have asked for better. I had to cut the showering time down cause I didn’t want to keep him waiting. I still got pleasure from it. I even got into the protection pants quickly, within four minutes.
Chris issued the medications in between me, rabbiting on at him about me not going to the doctor today. He said to ask the next Carer to ring them for me. Off he trotted, taking the laundry bag with him. He’s off to Goose Fair today with his wife and nipperoony.
I got on the computer, got up to visit the Porcelain Throne, another messy one, and returned to notice hundreds of flies
around the balcony; many had got inside. Where did they appear from? Big ones and baby ones?
Each time I sat down and stood up, Dizzy Dennis joined in with the cartilage and
gave me grief.
I’m so glad I didn’t risk going to the doctor for the jabs now.
I felt an undertone of guilt as I got back in the main room and cleaned, and tidied a bit, not a lot, mind you, I didn’t want to temp Dizzy Dennis to return,
Then I hoovered around the carpet and in the hallway.
Carer Joanne arrived for the PM call. I asked how her medical problems were, and she was not happy at all. She asked me about the tumble I took. We laughed, and as I got up to walk her to the door,
paid me a call, and,
, I
.
She did larf! Hahaha! The afternoon’s pictures on the left here of the marvellous clouds that were on offer for me to photograph.
The second one was supposed to show the multitude of flies on the balcony. I can’t see one in this picture. Another of the mysteries of the Woodthorpe Court’s sinister Spirit’s master plan. To raise the devil, spread wonders, blunders, fears and descenders from the comfort of sanity into my becoming a physical gibbering mental wreck!
I took this shot of the cheapo ancient. Well, it must have been made in the 1960s, with the day, month, and date needing to be manually flipped. I forgot what I was going to say about it now. Humph! What a plonker!

It was a long one, I think. I’d been to the Throne Room again, and maybe I did fall asleep, but I reckon it was a mini seizure because I felt totally drained as I woke up or came around. This usually happens after a seizure. It took me ages to come back to feeling normal. That was a daft thing to say; there’s been nothing normal about me for ages!
I got some potatoes roasting. I took this snap of the sky from the kitchenette, which is my favourite one to date.
Gorgeous!
I went on the WP REader while the spuds cooked, and then after 23 minutes, I could put the ready-made Shepherd’s pie in the microwave.
23 minutes later, the sky had surprisingly changed to blue? There was a strip of brown left just above the horison of my view. But why?

A ready-made meal of shepherd’s pie with root veg mash, garden peas and mini roast potatoes. Milk roll bread to soak up the gravy, and a
lemon & lime yoghourt to follow. Nice!
