Are any Parole Boarders reading these?
Sorry, there are so many errors in my grammar and typography. I’m so far behind again. The concentration is bad enough; but I’ve started wandering off and doing other things before the original job was done, repeatedly so. FND and Cognitive Impairment Iris, Who do I blame?
Here we go, with the many items and incidents missed, forgotten or I gave up on.Â
Far too dark again! I’ll try to remember tp mention it to the social lady on Monday when she comes of telephones me. Or is that on Tuesday?
Gloomy morning view…
and sky.

Hours trying to get the blog started. But Iris sent me off on so many other things to do. Carer Chris called, and I have no idea what took place.
Boy, the skies had changed.

I rang Sister Jane. Getting ready to go to the football match at the City Ground.
Ginormous!
I’m glad that’s over!
Carer Joanne came. Poor gal has lost her hair. And her catheter is giving her grief too! Not feeling up to much, bless her. But we still managed a laugh or two. I hope she’s going to be alright. ♥Â
My concentration and confusion was so bad, I decided to make a brew and watch the TV for a while to try yo unwind…Â Then… ![]()
I made the mug of tea, but could I find the TV remote? No, I couldn’t! You can see why I’ve got nothing done today, can’t you? I spent over half an hour trying to find it, without any luck. I’d search every room, pocket and drawer. Baffled! I returned to put the computer back on and thought I’d have a last look for the remote
I emptied out everything off of the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner, but didn’t find it. I thought the only place it could be, was underneath the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner.
So, despite the orders not to bend or do any heavy lifting, I struggled… painfully to edge the recliner away from its usual position a little at a time. Each move was almost crippling my back and knees, but I was determined to find out if it was hidden under the chair. I could only do one chair move at a time. had to rest a minute or two between each one. Also, the rubbish I found each move had to be cleaned up.Â
Another hour or so later, I remembered I’d not collected the brew of tea yet. I was leaning on the arm of the recliner to lift myself up, and got a double-attack at just the wrong time.
!
, gave way, and the
at the same time! I crumpled, banging down in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner. Bursting open poorÂ
when I landed!
The agony only lasted for five minutes or so. Then I gingerly rose, grabbed a hold of precious
, to the wet room to medicate my rear end, and Phorpain gelledÂ
. I was feeling a smidge sorry for myself and agree at me at the same time. The day was getting dark, and the blog had still not been started properly yet. Standing still or sitting down hurt after that, let alone trying to hobble around. Carer Chris arrived to break my concentration further on what needed doing. When I told him of my farcical Accifauxpas, he found them amusing. Haha!
I still had to get the £300, second-hand, musty, Haemorrhoid Harold Testing, cringingly beige, not-working, rickety recliner back to its original position. The thought of having to contact the oligarchical
about getting a replacement TV remote, I found daunting. Then I went to get the chair repositioned, and guess what I found, when I moved it?
Yep! The remote Control!
I can’t see things improving much.
It was well dark now, sod all done.
Went to try making another brew, and noticed the kitchen window view.
Bootiful, too!
Back on the computer, forgot all about making a mug of tea again. For a few minutes, things were going reasonably well… Carer Chris arrived. Full of the joys of spring, that cheered me up a bit.Â

Took two shots before the sun sank.
Gave up on the blog. no concentration left.Â
painfully. The ribs I hit going down on the recliner. And then, the cartilage & ribs were aching away.Â
Then, a flipping
and dusted my spectacle and dressing gown with dried flaked-off skin! I got a letter telling me the rent was going up, along with the communal electricity, caretaking costs, and CCTV charges.
And I still had to make a meal yet. The moment I got up, more pain from the back I twisted and ribs. But these things didn’t depress me, not at all. I was already depressed anyway!

At least the skies were changing and nice.

Early hours of the morning, I made a bowl of vegetable chilli. Grand!Â
I found this photo on Friday that I’d missed earlier.
I think I may have made a cock-up here?
My damned ribs and back are giving me some!
TTFN.

Not a good start!
Morning kitchen view.
ARGH!
The legs and feet looked better now. But both cartilage and backs of the knees were worse. Got the medicationing done. Two shaving cuts, a stubbed toe and a heck of a job getting the PPs on.
Computer on, CorelDraw for graphics.
Took an afternoon shot of the clouds.
As I took the first one, a crow flew into view.
The sun’s setting was earlier than ever tonight.
Low shot.
High shot.

odd word, like, no pouch… waste bags, throne and view. This, I assume, was the view. The first picture on Kodak Tim. Not many were there, with the two-hour-plus
visitation from the Falls & Rehab interview. A lot of that I can remember, along with the blanks
Waste bags were sorted out and placed near the doorway into the foyer. I recall seeing Josie’s as was, door and started to worry about her. I’ve found out she is in a care home in Arnold, but not which. I want to visit her, but no one seems to know where she is. Her family have been emptying her flat all week. So sad!
I did ask for the carers on each visit to take the laundry down for me.
matters of the visit and self-loathing at the time, but rather than a Memory Blank this time, it may have been due to Receptive Aphasia Phyllis. As I had not got anything done between drifting off and coming back for about an hour, on the computer
Can of 3-Bean soup, with a vegetable and tomato sauce. Two cheap but nice Asda baguettes. A pot of 10-calorie strawberry jelly for afters.
How did you do at guessing what the thingamabob was in the photo?
I took a terribly bad picture of the evening view from the kitchen window. I’m getting good at doing this… something of an expert almost! But I tried one
higher up, thinking it would be easier to get a decent-quality shot of the clouds in the night sky.

By the time I’d got the
That was a waste of time!
I took a shot of the ‘Designer’, Inchy’s Peed, several times, washed, dried, and salvaged slippers. Hehe!
The usual medicationalisationing was done.
I’d just decided to have a go at the crossword puzzle, expecting another false alarm…
A liquid torrent of the finest
I’ll ask the Carer to do me later. I struggled so painfully, but I eventually got the P.P.s on.
I washed and got some Anya potatoes in the crock pot for later in a stew I’m planning.
This little gem of a mini potato, I had to photograph. Remember that amongst my many blog followers, there are pareidoliarists (Well, they both are!)
Still a little murky out there, but not cold.
I thought it was never going to stop!
The front car park is on Chestnut Way.
Emptied
I got stew ingredients in the saucepan with potatoes to add later. Additions: chunky tomatoes & vegetable cooking sauce, garden peas, vegetable stock, liquid sea salt, and courgettes. I hadn’t heated it yet; I just stirred the mixture occasionally, cut up the cooking bacon, and got it in the oven.
Got the potatoes added.
Went to check on the bacon in the oven and took these.
Had a struggle to detach the lumps from the oven tray. I bent the food slices and used a metal one to get them all off the tray. As for the tray, it was doomed to the waste bag. R.I.P.
The pouch was a great colour… well, it looks it in this photo. But I’m sure it was a lot darker in reality…Â
It was worth all the efforts to make. This little feast tasted Grreat!
Easy-Peazy! Haha!.

A decent amount of pee was passed! I can’t say the same for the rear-end evacuation on the Throne.
Ah, well! A False Alarm, then?
I found this mystery photo on the SD later. What it was and why I took it remains another mystery of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, Cognitive Impairment Iris, & FND, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? You never know; I might remember what it was all about while I’m doing this blog… What am I saying… Tsk!
Washed, and I went back to the recliner… deliberately emptying the bags without checking for any nocturnally nibbled empty packets of crisps. Looking through the balcony windows, the ground frost was apparent.
Ti the kitchen to make a brew of J Sainsbury’s Extra Strong tea. And took the view above.

Germolened the backside, I saw the clock, and by Jimminee, I reckon I’d been asleep for over an hour and a half, maybe longer. Another cleaning up session of the floor, porcelain and WC lid had to be done.Â
A banana and pot of jelly for afters!
Despite my frustration at the events and another bout of depression, I turned into a different person while eating this nosh. It tasted grand!
Well, that one wasn’t any good…
Strewth, how many moons did I take? Haha!
Wrinkles again. A misshaped moon too, but at least I got it looking vaguely like a moon.
Took the sky first, not very good was it… Again!
That’s it, a semi-decent one at last! Well…
The stretched photo revealed (Just the bottle).

More in the pouch this morning.
Off to get my
rear end, then
Carers & Nurses drinkie-treats, and the last remaining warm dressing gown hanging over the door.
The carer earlier helped me get the leg straps on. I took this photo in the wet room ages ago, and have only just remembered it. Tsk! Sad?
Gorgeous clouds in the afternoon.
I got
Slightly to the right.
Ahead…
And to the left.
The close-up shots are terrible!
A few hours later, and this one was terrible!
A little betterer?
Mystery photo?
A late picture of the nosh. Part-eaten.

A wee bit dark. Haha!
The first morning view.
Eurgh!
I found a bruise on top of my left foot, but I didn’t know why or where from. Oh, and I did the shaving while standing in a bowl of hot, disinfected, soapy water with bi-carb in it, so the dirt came up from the feet. And all without slips or injuries!Â
diabetic socks out ready, as
I saw something in the photo that had me back on the computer and CorelDraw to make the graphic I spotted. I just had to do it!
My sense of humour was alive and kicking!
The doorstep-sized sliced Sourdough bread was massive. It was a substitute for two little sourdough rolls. I’ll ask if anyone would help by taking half the loaf to use cause it was far too much for me to eat without it going out of date, and I had no room in the freezer.
At last, I’d got some of the Branston Fruit Sauce, 3 bottles; although they were not cheap, they remain my favourite brown sauce. The diddly bananas will do for me. Some biscuits, too.
The light arrived, and I took these shots.
From the kitchen window.
Again, the bladder pains informed me that the day pouch was backing up. I can’t understand why it has been doing this lately?
One from the bank.
The other is from Lisa in the USA with a Christmas Card; bless her. She is such a treasure to me. With all her ailments that outnumber mine, I think she’s so caring and kind!Â
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
She is calling tomorrow to take the DVT Warfarin INR blood test for me. All my sweetheart connections
today are cheering me up. I took a can of Gin Spritz to neighbour Jo,sie too.
Przyprawa and liquid sea salt were added to the tomatoes in the saucepan, and later, I added the bacon and some soya pieces. I can heat this up easier later on.
Two late afternoon shots.
By the time I’d got set to take another…
The sun had disappeared!
It went down gorgeously. Well worth the long time spent in preparation. I ate the sourdough bread and most of the tomato and bacon mix. Great!

Had to clean up the haemoglobin on the sink & floor!
Carer Chris arrived and got the diabetic socks, and leg straps, on for me, and meds were given.
Got with the much-belated Tues blog.

A good shade this morning.
Three early morning views.
The high moon in the amazingly light sky.
Or, did I set
Closer up.
Even closer.
Not sure why I took this one.
I went out on the balcony to try and take a shot of the end car park, now seemingly permanent mudslide.
I can recall taking this shot. I was in a depression at the time; the keyboard was playing up again… or maybe
I literally sat there afterwards, with the TV pointlessly on, not being controllable, as, indeed, my mind was in a similar position, hazy.
The late Carer removed the ankle and leg strappings and ointmentated the lower legs. They were not painful at all during the day but started itching away on removal. Resisting scratching was a hard job. Hehe! However, they were a lot better than they had been lately, so a positive at last. The only pain was from the ingrowing toenail toe, that I proceeded to make worse by stubbing it on the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. moth-eaten, bedraggled, grotty, cringingly-beige-coloured, much-dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner leg. It seems to be going a darker colour and bent more now?
Around 23:00hrs, I tried to take a decent shot of the end car park mudslide; you can just make it out.
Unintendedly artistic, though?

Nocturnal urine was a bit lighter.
Started by sorting the waste bags into one.
The plan was to get a shower & shave, so I left off the leg and ankle straps when Carer Richard arrived. When I asked him not to put them on, I asked if he could please ring my landline, as I’d not had any calls coming in and was worried that Liberty-Global may have gone off again. I gave him the wrong number and cheered him up. He verbally suggested that I was a nuisance – he was right. I found the correct number, and he rang again; the first one I gave him was for the Audio Clinic. Tsk! The landline rang. Thus, it made me feel much better that no one had rung me for four days. Humph! Sulk! Hehe!
I am off to the wet room for the only visit up till now of this very wet, rainy Thursday.
Hey-Ho!
I took a half-decent shot to the moon as I made a brew of Glengettie…

Later, I spotted a chap from the flats on his disability scooter going up the gravel path to the park. He was driving along like Stirling Moss. The legal limit for these is 8 mph, but he was rattling away at well over that speed and uphill. If I get one, I’ll ask him where he got this one from.
.
.
Not good this one…
Not good, but better than the first?
Ah, well!
I didn’t, and not much wiser now that I’ve seen the rings on this explanation, what’s different about the yellow glove? Ah, I’ve gorrit now!
Bread at last!
The tomato sauce I ordered turned out to be something else. It warned on the label that it was an extra pungent chilli sauce. I’ll give that away!
The Danish loaf (substituted for Milk Roll bread) was eaten later with the evening meal.
I put some honeyed parsnips in the oven. And a can of curried beans, with tomato & basil sauce, and a suitable splashing of the Beetroot Borscht into the pan.
Adding some gammon slices cut up.
