Dark again.

Refilled the carer’s & nurses’ nibble boxes.

My knees are bad this morning.

Motionless.

Carer Christopher called. The little scallywag.

First view with Kodak Tim.
The clouds are still different today.

Whoops!

Off to the wet room to empty the catheter pouch out, and tried again on the Throne...
Oh, dear!

Blogging was a slow job; I’m going to have to give up.
Carer Joanne turned up earlier than usual. Always nice to see her. A little laugh available is good!

The Mystery Chest Pains are back now. Suppose it might be something to do with the reluctance of the bowels to produce anything?

The clouds are even more beautiful now.

I’m blogging away, but now I’m bothered with the card reader reading the cards. I’m fed up! It takes about four tries to read the cards every time I use it. Not good! Gloom and doom!
Later I took another shot of the kitchen sky view.

Going to get something to eat now.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Still too dark.

The shrunken in the wash new dressing gown was washed twice, and now the pockets are hanging off, and the belt loops are loose, ready to drop off.

Any idiot could work this one out…
But I couldn’t!

Sorry about this…
But, my physical and mental conditions are making things too time-consuming for me to cope with writing a full blog. I’ve been on the computer often for 18 hours on the trot. Stopping for nurses, deliveries, and/or Caregivers calling. Getting back to what and where I was is so confusing. Thus, taking me even more time to catch up and work rings out. I so loved doing them as well.
I’ve decided to try to do the top part, including Cartoons, Odes, Snippets, etc. Medical appointments, and will add any photographs taken if I have time and the computer lets me. Maybe a description of any Whoopsiedangleplops, if any. (IF? Hahaha!)
I’ve had to make this decision, and making decisions is one of my later-in-life problems. The mind and memory blanks and now the non-epileptic seizures are getting a little more frequent, so much that often don’t mention them as anything worthy of going in the blog. They are diurnal.
My concentration seems to have retrograded this morning; hence, this is written while things are clearer in my head. (How long for? Who Knows.)

They soon returned. The vacillating, wavering, indecision, hesitancy, uncertainty, hemming and hawing, shilly-shallying, dilly-dallying, concentration-distracting, fretting, worrying, fussing, panicking, and stressing are rife, too often for me now.
disconcertions, embarrassments, self-loathings, misperceptions, tizzies, misunderstandings, apprehensiveness, topsy-turviness, vagueness, and an invaded brain full of a salmagundi of unwanted moods and modes, including, at times, the odd hallucination, fantasy, and stubborn delusion.
Common sense rarely makes an appearance. But it
did this morning, making this decision!
I still await the appointment to see a Dementia psychologist. Glaucoma, cataracts and knee operations. But it is the brain that needs help more, I think. I can’t find anyone with the same symptoms to talk with. I believe FND is part of the cause.

After talking to the lady at the audio clinic and finding out that she had FND, I found I had every symptom she mentioned worrying about. The effects are so weird that she said she believes no one believes her – ditto! But it’s not easy to understand or diagnose, let alone treat it. I agree with her about her frustrations. My Doctor gives me the same feelings. It must be hard for anyone to take in.

Glad I got this on record while my head is clearer now. I can get back to being me when my mind abandons me again and wanders off.

Well, there were still plenty of hassles, worries, and mistakes made. There were many visits and stings from . I have never had so many during the day before on a single day. I am greedy! Hehehe! The Doctor’s surgery gave me a tinkle. To make an appointment for them to give me painkilling injections in the knees, to counter & . I’ll see if I can remember to tell them about the latest ailment craze from . She made an appointment for 09:40hrs on Thursday, 18th April. Same day as I was to be going to the Diabetes Course in Bulwell. Can’t win ’em all… Humph, I can’t win any! Haha!
The replacement carpets ruined in the flood escapades arrived.
I cleaned the wet room again, another mess made by yours truly, Inchy. The hallway carpet had not dried yet, so I went into the wet room, taking black bits from the carpet onto the floor!
I decided to wash the bottoms of the slippers and dry them off well. Naturally, I got soapy water on the soft outers of the slipped and had to put them on the fairer to dry. Then, the need for the Throne arrived in a bit of a rush. I made more mess going in with my bare feet this time. Tried to use kitchen towels to clean it up, using my feet, but I couldn’t bend down far enough without suffering from the pain. And if I did get down, I’d probably not have been able to get up again! Then, trying to wash my feet, I got my plates of meat into the bowl alright, but at just the optimum time to cause me the worst degree of bother, as I was removing the dodgier right leg, prone to bursting into a wild dance of its own accord, I had a  , and tipped the bowl over! Thus had to clean the place up again for the third time! I took the bag of rubbish and put it in the waste chute. ; not realising how early it was in the day. (approx 05:00hrs) I’m going to get it in the neck now; from those people, I might have woken up. Tsk!
Finally, at long last, I set about having a shave (only one cut). I searched for the toothpaste. After a few minutes of failed investigation, I assumed it had dropped, and I’d taken it out in the waste bags. Arrgh! It was also the last of the prescription toothpaste.
I think at one time, I believed I was still asleep and dreaming. The showering was okay… just one clouting of my head on the power box today.
I got the medicationalisationing done. Amazing, I easily got the PPs on. No socks, of course, like a baby waiting for his nanny; the Carer will sort that out for me later
. I got on the computer. Carer Kimberly arrived. Socks on, medications, a mini-natter, and laughter were enjoyed.
There was a bit of mini-blank here. Hours later, the intercom rang out, and the first of the carpets arrived. Five minutes later, the second carpet (Well, rugs or mats, really).
arrived. We spent a few minutes setting the world to rights. She seemed to have a sore throat. I hope she is not getting the dreaded lurgy.
No idea why, but there must have been some logic in it somewhere; I made a J Sainsbury order for 14 days time. I think it may have been… no, no idea.
I called back later and returned the borrowed bag of ‘s. I was pleased to be in a position to help some other tenant out with the loan. It makes a change from flooding them out, and guilt returns!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Onwards to the photos.
The urine in the night bag looked much darker when I viewed it with my admittedly poor eyes.
The wet room farce was over. It looked good after three hours of mayhem and cleaning it up again… and again, and finally, once again this morning.
Damned good job I couldn’t sleep and got up early. Not that the poor devils living in the twelve-floors below, would appreciate it with me using the darned waste chute that early in the day. Guilt again!
This is the first picture of the view from the kitchenette that I took.
The amazing blue hue was back again. Bootiful!

I forgot to tell you, when I was cleaning the wet room, I used the new lavatory brush. Can I get it back in its hub? I still can’t.

The day pouch was filling up swiftly today. However, it was getting darker as the say went on. It usually does the opposite.
My first mug of Glengettie tea of the day. It really is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Shame I’m only allowed two cups a day. (Sob!)
The postman dropped my Anticoagulation results DVT, INR, and through the letter box. An increase in dosages. It’s a smidge low.
The most amazing cloud formation this evening.
Not unlike the news snippet above Mammatus clouds?
I see so many things in these three pictures.
I’ve put in this blog a little larger.
I hope that my fellow bloggers, Tim Price and Paul, and any reader, can see what I did in them. Who is a  Pareidolianist?
The second mug of Glengettie was enjoyed while I was blogging away merrily. The authenticity of the last bit is dubious.
Why the hell do I write so small? I know full well (at times) that my eyesight is crap, and I’ll not be able to read what I’ve written!

I got the smallest of the mats into the wet room. I decided this should be recorded for prosperity. Despite my shakes, I was determined to get a picture taken with the whole mat in it – I didn’t!

Carer Helen called, and medications were given.
After I offered them, she took about 40 of my DVDs with her, as I cannot see or hear them nowadays. She’ll collect the others later. Great, a clear out at last.

Better get the nosh prepared… it’s nearly midnight. A tastier effort tonight. Well, this morning.  (pork knuckle), Golonkowa, chips, a brown wholemeal baguette and a pot of naughty but so delicious lemon curd yoghourt.

I found it, but it took me 33 seconds.

kicked off the moment I moved my left leg. But her joint was utilised to help me bend down to clean up my exuviated skin. The pain and efforts resulted in many visits from , , and .

Carer Chris arrived; he did not put the socks on for me because I’d hoped to get the ablutioning done later today – I didn’t.
Well, several of them. The day shot by, and I hadn’t even started this blog until Saturday (today)
. I flaked out far earlier than I usually do. Gave up, ate, and spent hours trying to get to sleep.
were rampant. It’s as if they knew I’d drifted off. Sleep? Erm…what’s that then? Hehe!
I keep hoping the Doctor’s receptionist will call to arrange for me to see the medics. Then, if I remember, I can explain my problems to them.
This was likely the worst out-of-it day ever. Thank heavens, I took some pictures. I really cannot recall taking many of them.
I have to see the quack about this. Then again, as last time, a long time ago, when I told her of the situation, she seemed all calm and unconcerned. She mentioned that I’m getting older and have many problems, as do so many other elderly patients. It is to be expected. I almost apologised for mentioning my worries. Hahaha! She’s right, all the same.
Here’s the memory promoters via .

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
You’ll notice that no night bag was attached.
This is due to my complicated, infected with brain; and, of course, dying. Maybe some effect from . Possibly in amalgamation with the failed operation, cleverly leaving me with double-vision, and some wonderfully uplifting new skills, like walking into door frames, tripping over unseen objects, and the latest, bending down and hitting left-open cupboard door corners when rushing to turn off hot water tap (faucet), that I so regularly leave to run cold. Hang on. That prompted me to check the taps now! No taps were running, and neither the hob nor the oven was left on… I closed the left-open fridge door! I am so glad I wrote this bit now. My food could have decayed! As I am. Hehehe! Where was I? Oh, yes, the urine nocturnal pouch I forgot to put on. Remembered to ask the last Carer to take off my socks last night.

The Iceland order arrived.
The only good thing about the order. They had Heinz pickled Ketchup on special offer.
Food!
.
A close-up of Harry Ramsden’s fish supper planned for tonight, well, tomorrow night’s feast.

.

It was nowhere near as bad as yesterday’s. But coming around afterwards, it took me a long time to get into a condition where I could tackle checking the blog work. It didn’t help that I had made so many errors.

Fantastic, beautiful cloud shots.

The catheter pouch has filled much slower today. But the colour was much worse.
Maybe a 5 on the NHS chart.
I’ll ask a carer to check it from this photo for me later, which I did. Joanne said it was a class 6!

It’s getting dark now. After another hour or so on this blog, I felt weariness, so I gave up.

Back to the wet room.

Took this photo.
I had a pareidoliaising feast with this one.
I thought, can others see what I do in it.
In the morning, I copied it in CorelDraw and doctored it with a lot more ‘contrast’, and what I could see became more explicit in the resulting picture.
Can anyone see them? The teddy bear, ghost, face, or the animal? I love pareidoliaising.

Was the catheter pouch still a deep colour?

The late evening clouds seemed to be determined to come to the fore. You can imagine, methinks, what I saw at first with my left double-vision eye. Haha!

So weary now. I made a quick meal.
The bland, pale, undercooked Iceland chicken legs, substituted for the not available thighs, tasted like cardboard would, I imagine. The Heinz beans were also unremarkable. The instant potatoes were very nice, especially with the Heinz pickle-flavoured ketchup.

Took this last shot of the sky.
I was pleased with this one.

I managed to find five of them.

I’m yawning now. But once again, would Sweet Morpheous welcome me? NO! Heaven knows how long it took me to nod off. I had a couple of , which jumped me awake, but I soon nodded off again. I did well once I got off, about 6 hours or so. Gleaned by waking up a lot later than usual, at 05:00hrs.

4:00hrs: I woke feeling oddly a little sprightly (for me). As I tried to rise from the c1968, tatty, scruffy, unkempt, virus, microorganism, bug, bacterium, bacillus, germ, parasite producing, uncomfortable, incommodious, unwelcoming and disease-fermenting second-hand, eyesorely-horrendously grungy beige-coloured, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, moth-eaten, non-working, itch-encouraging, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, catheter tube yanking, recliner. As I did so, gave way on me. The bum bounced down into the recliner, and I got an instant comment from Harold’s Haemorrhoids as they burst, bled and stung. Bad enough, you may think?  This is where comedy came into the morning’s equation! I’d fallen on the TV remote, and there I was in the middle of cursing and verging on self-pity as the TV came on. That momentarily confused me, realised what had happened and got some kitchen roll in the Protection Pants, as I now had , in front, along with bleeding at the back! I lost the first hour of the day cleaning up and medicating. I Got the nocturnal catheter pouch off.

Then a   dawned. As I was metamorphosed into an old, miserable, grouchy, depressed, frustrated, bleeding, in pain, downhearted, depressed, melancholy, forlorn, glum, demoralised, fed up, down in the dumps, in the doldrums, unnerved, chagrined, miffed, sour, sulky, sullen, surly, saddened, subdued, almost sepulchral Inchy.
But within minutes, a stroke of good luck eased my misery by taking my mind off of it. As I was leaving the wet room, I clouted my head, this time on the door frame! 99% of the time, it will be the right shoulder. Blame can be attached to: ,  ,  ,   or any of the ailments really
. On this occasion, the culprits were, I think, and or . The eyes are worse than ever now, and I’m sure I’ll have kicked the bucket before my turn comes for the operation. But, sorting youngsters out early is more vital. They have the prospect of living many years with their sight adjusted. We long in the tooth old things, must accept this.

This morning, the sky was a glorious blue hue again. My confusion was worse than usual for the next hour or two. I got out of the wet room, put some Dettol Cream on my head, and got on with the waste bag sorting. A wet, warm sensation from the lower regions. I went back to the wet room to investigate.
There was a smidgen more bleeding from Little Inchy, but it’s not worth mentioning compared to the tsunami that was released yesterday.
Throughout the day, the bleeding was far, even less than it is usually. Had a wash & shave.
Then checked the state of the ankles. No doubt that my was getting better bit by bit.

The areas where the are coming from remain a little rough and red. No pain when the shocks don’t come, and when they do hit, it wakes you if you’re sleeping every time! But the pain lasts for about two seconds, if that. is to blame.
Getting lighter now, I took another Kodak Tim picture from the kitchen window again. The streetlights were
off now.
As per usual, the end car parking turnaround area had its regular little bit of a mudslide in it again.

Carer Shaquille arrived. I made an order the J Sainsbury’s for next week. Blogging.
Amending, blogging, correcting, blogging-getting more things wrong, blogging… well, you get the message. Tsk!
Carer Kara arrived. She sorted out the banking problem and said she would try to get in touch with Norton about the three times the bill was taken from the debits another time. She ran out of time today.
Care Victor, did the last two calls.
I took these photos later.
Then went into what I believe was a non-apolectic seizure. Not a mind-block. Because it was like blinking, and an hour had gone, but nothing was done whatsoever when I came around back to this miserable existence.
After the , I’d discover I’d been doing the blog, mopping the kitchen floor, or started cooking something while out of it. A procedure Hehe! Nothing gets done as if I’d fallen asleep, but I know it wasn’t that. I think.  might play a part in this ailment.
At times, I come back to the reality of stinging pains in the lower regions from the catheter bag being too full, and I have to get it emptied swiftly, ASAP.
The sunset was about over by the time I regained a modicum of brain control, rejoined the menagerie of life on offer, and got back to the reality and struggle of living.

I DIDN’T

I gave up on the blogging.

Made myself a meal.
It tasted delicious, too! I could feel my burnt finger on the oven rack and the pain of dropping the hot oven tray onto my foot. Landing on my toe nail.
But the meal was worth the hassle.

Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said thatHehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

This physical and mental collapse every afternoon has gone on for three days now. No… Four!
Today, it came over me even earlier. My plan was to at least sit down, with a chance of nodding off; then, after Carer Kara helped me again, but she only had 10 minutes allowed for the visit. Bless her. Carer Helen made the last call, I was to get back to blogging again. I’d given up trying to sleep and was eating the meal when she arrived. Then, as the gal left, after medicating and taking off my diabetic socks from my legs, I went into a deep sleep, which didn’t last for long and was in patches. Every time I went into bliss, shortly one of the would unceremoniously burst me back awake. About 2 hours later, I gave up trying and started to potter about.
Anyway, I didn’t get back on the blog until around about 03:00hrs on Friday morning, and I had a mammoth task of catching up on it. Which I am currently in the process of doing, accompanied by the World Wide Hum, and a rattling coming from I know not where.
Better get on with it…

I carried the nocturnal pouch with me as I tried to remove it. I accidentally tugged the tube as I released the valve for emptying and immediately felt the warm, wet feeling of blood in the PPs! I got it cleaned up. Then I sorted out the waste bags into one, ready for collection, and placed them near the front door of the flat.
I took a snap of the morning view from the kitchenette. It’s not a good one, but it was fairly good for me. Is there a nice eeriness about it?
After an hour or so on CorelDraw, uploading and resizing the Kodak Tim pictures, an email from Sainsbury’s came Porc failedin. I went to the wet room and utilised the ever-popular. Once again, the evacuation failed, and after much urging and inner pushing, I gave up. Knowing there was possibly a gigantic torpedo in the queue that may need some help seeing the light of the WC basin, I made and drank a drink of an ‘Ease-it-along sachet’.

The Caregiver arrived, Victor or Israel. I think I can’t read the name on the log. My memory is blank on this visit, so it could have been anyone.
An hour or so later, the J. Sainsbury order arrived. I did struggle a little getting the bags, one at a time, into the kitchen. Well, I did not struggle; I just took extra care not to catch the tubing in Little .
The bananas came all ready-bruised to save me the effort of dropping them, so it was kind of Sainsbury’s. I got some vegan Maryland cookies, passata sauce with Mediterranean vegetables, and drinks for the nurses and carers. I also got fresh fries; they may get cooked and tasted tonight, methinks. Maybe the Anya potatoes be eaten tomorrow? They are grown only on the Monarch’s farms. Hence, Lord Sainsbury is the only person allowed to sell them. (I’m full of useless snippets)
The fridge was now fullerer than ever! Ready meals, lemon curd yoghourts, potato rosis, the lemon curd dip pots on the bottom shelve? Gorgeous!
I got a big pack of the JO2 favourites for the treats shelf. They may last a week or more. The most popular of the drinkies on offer these are.
I also got a few of these pots of jelly in a new flavour. Not a good photo. (I’m good at doing these types, Hehe!) So you may not be able to read the label. They are… honestly, a Gin & Tonic Flavour, jelly! I can’t see these being well-liked. I wonder what they put in it to get the taste?

A little drizzle was spotted when I was cleaning the side of the cooker later on.
I took it through the kitchen window glass to try to catch the raindrops on the pane.

During the next half an hour, I got three parcels delivered.

The first was socks, three pairs, I think, of long diabetic ones, expensive ones, too! The second was socks, two pairs of thinner, longer diabetic socks. These were even more expensive, cost me a fortune. But I didn’t get the last two new pairs back from the laundry. They think someone half-inched my laundry and a new bag. I never saw any of them again. Humph!
The third delivery was socks. Six pairs of the wrong type. Hehe! I’d made a great cock-up, mistake, error
with this order. As Carer Kara found out and told me yesterday. I thought I’d ordered Diabetic Bamboo socks. Kara pointed out that they were cotton ones. Boing! But it was too late for me to cancel. So then I proceeded to make yet another  . I ordered one of the first two above while Kara watched to make sure I didn’t get it wrong again. After she’d gone, I  checked again on Amazon and found the cheaper, although still dear, bamboo socks. I believe I’d cancelled the first pairs and ordered the cheaper pairs instead – But no! I ordered two lots! I’ve not opened the packs yet; I’ll do that tomorrow. I feel like such a fool!
If anyone would like a 3-pack of gents long cotton socks.

I took a shot of the end car park this afternoon. Then the Fatigue and weariness, along with my body’s instruction to get some sleep, arrived.
I decided to get something to eat first after closing down the computer.
There were chips, beans, sausages, and a baguette. The JS baguette was too sweet for my liking and crumbled too easily.
As I got served up, the evening Carer Helen arrived. I’d not seen her for ages, I thought she’s left.
I planned to get a kip and then restart this blog. The best-laid plans of mice and men! Or, in Robert Burns’s original, “The best-laid schemes o’ mice an’ men / Gang aft a-gley.”
Not a chance of nodding off. I even tried the TV again, but no luck.

I moved into the bed. Just as the night before, I got settled, and the catheter night pouch was hanging down. I lit the torch on the overbed table and got into the bed.
I nodded off pretty quickly again. No idea how long for; it felt like five minutes, and then kicked off striking at will. Well, Inchy! I got up, which wasn’t easy at all. In fact, I was a bit worried about this new ailment trait.  kept stinging, then failing. Not all the time, but regularly enough.

By the time I’d got a drink of spring water, tripped over the tubing, and I’d taken this Kodak Tim photo of the moon or sun. Sun, surely? Was it this early yet? I think I may have made another chronologically here.
I know, but even a man of my extreme intelligence, quickness and clarity of mind, and amazingly reliable super-concentration powers can make the rare, occasional mistake. Ahem! had stopped bothering me. I’m sure it is worse electric shock-wise when I get into the bed, but why?

I got down in search of sleep again, this time back in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner. It didn’t help. As tired out as I felt, either or both the body and brain would not let me sleep!
The Gits!

Beats me, the car? The feet? The phone, yes.

Irritable Inchy: Tuesday 12th March 2024

There are five differences, actually – Tsk! Another Inchy cock-up, mistake and error!

I did a full Norton clean-up and virus scan of the computer. Apparently, 65 sites were tracking me at that time. The usual offer of downloading an app to keep them out is at another ridiculous cost.
I did a search for Raynaud’s Syndrome. Each site seemed very vague, and in my current state, I baffled myself even more by doing so.
Some of the Carers have got the ‘Lurgy’. At least one is off work with it. Two that I know of are struggling with the symptoms and taking as many medications as I am. Hehe! But battling on. Not looking good for them.
I started lots of things and finished none today.
I’m miles behind with the blog again. He says I’ll try to catch up by getting up early in the morning!
So, this will be a shorter, quick blog.
That’s the plan, anyway…
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Morning views, left to right, from the kitchen.

Reynaud’s on just one finger?

End car park with the crows taking a bath in the mudslide Drizzling still.

Back to the Throne.

Reynauds easing off on finger.

Midday, drizzling still falling.

I think this is the fullest it’s ever been?

Care Marie’s first call, she was suffering with the ‘Lurgy’. Carrying medications with her to take over her shift. Doing a heroic effort in coming in, I reckon. Gave her a cold drinkie from the fridge to ease her throat. Her lips are cracked, and a terrible sore throat. ♥
Carer Kimberly called next. Carer Marie again, and then Carer Christopher did the last two calls. Kara was off poorly, so no banking and paperwork assistance. Hope she’ll be alright, and Marie does not get any worse. ♥ I’d be lost without the Carers.

More frequent visits today?
Hope I’m not getting the Lurgy as well.

Part eaten meal…

Blimus! Another visit!.
Reynauds had turned into an almost illuminant purple colour now! Still, it’s not painful at all.

Keep well, and be good…
Well, keep well!

05:40hrs: I rose in a cheery, gay, happy mood. Possibly a   Ahem!
I could hardly believe the dark colour of the Catheter night pouch contents—I was in shock, really. I took another shot of it when emptying the night bag.
Of course, at the time, I didn’t realise that much bigger shocks were awaiting me later on, today! Yes.

I took this picture of the early morning view from the kitchenette window.
At least it wasn’t foggy… yet! Only my brain was foggy.
I was off to the wet room for a wash and visit to the. There was another change in styles: from two days of  being in control, now was ruling things. Mega-smelly, almost watery, it squirted out more than flowed! It took me ages to get the place, and my body cleaned up! Tsk.
Since arriving in the wet room, I’d had three or four of the .
Seeing the state of the ankles, was no surprise.
may need putting back on again, if things get any worse and the lesions burst open. Won’t please the Carers.

The Asda driver rang me on the mobile phone with a connection as normal, but it was so bad that he might as well have been talking to me in Outer Mongolian, for all I understood. I assumed he could not gain access and told him I’d come down to him straight away. Big Mistake!
I got and left the flat to find that both of the lifts were out-of-action!
.
I looked down between the fire escape stairs… It looked and was daunting. 24 flights of stairs to get down. I automatically set off, with great difficulty and pains from , and . I really must have been mad, to think I could get down all that way and then back up again. However, thought I could. I couldn’t, of course.

I managed to get down to the sixth floor and started going back up again. This was when I heard the noises below me. The heroic, saving-the-day driver was on his way up; I could hear him going up a flight of stairs with two of the three boxes, back down and getting the third, then repeating the exercise for each of the 24 flights of stairs. I continued climbing back up, and the driver caught me up; I was struggling so much to get back to my floor. The ankles had swollen and also  was bleeding. The driver was pouring sweat, but he stayed calm and patient with me. As we got to the flat, arrived.
Between them they got the food into bags and took them into the kitchen for me. It was a big order as well.
I sent a thank-you note to Asda later in the day for the driver’s kind, beyond-the-call-of-duty actions. He deserves recognition.
Did the medicationalisationings. I took this shot of the well-tired Asda driver leaving.
Then, an Iceland order arrived! Which I was certain I’d ordered for next Tuesday? I may need more help here!
kindly put the bags in the hallway for me, ready for me to tackle later. Thanks,  Shaquille!

Then, I set about sorting out the Asda Delivery. This is going to be a long job. There is much stuff to sort out and store away. I made a start…
The spring waters and cordials were put on the floor next to the Water Alarm Sounder thingamabob on the floor. Something else to trip over.

Shloer drinkies for treats and thankyous for the Caregivers and nurses who tend to me. Soda water and spring water for the daily Catheter filling routines. A bottle of Mushroom sauce and Tomato Ketchup with pickle. Lastly, sterilised milk.
Some reet-treats for myself in this photographicalisation on the left. Vici Surimi sticks Sweet & delicate). Jamaican Lamb patties. (Tasty!) Asda Crisp & Golden Potato Rostis (Not bad at all when done until burnt a bit). But nice!

Some favourites in this one! Brown sliced baguettes! Ready meals, Cumberland Pie, Minced beef hotpot. Texas beef chunks, an all-day breakfast, and a newly discovered gem. mini caramelised sausages!

Then I moved on to the Iceland delivery storage. Far less to work with.
Curry & Barbeque baked beans, mushrooms, sugarless biscuits, batteries AA & AAA. Treats drinkie, and some ready-made coffees for the Carers who like them.

Made up and took the waste bags to the rubbish shoot in the 12th-floor main lobby.
Noticing the lifts had been repaired as I passed by them en route.
I managed to trap my hand, well finger,  in the cast iron closure drawer without any effort or input. No cursing, swearing, or spitting, just an Argh!

Back in the detention cell. I mean the  apartment, I avoided a calamity and  with seconds to spare, got it emptied just in time!
The colour was a lot healthier looking now than first thing. I got on with the blog finalisationings at long last. Worra, day! It’s well into PM now!

The mist had been around all day once it had fallen. Too busy to notice what time it fell. More like November weather, really.

Slurp, gobble!

Took ages to force out this time.
Spent some time on the crossword puzzle.

Overnight, despite the horrendous day I’d had,  left me alone. But… the woke me up each time when it struck. Higher up on the leg now. Wakes you up with a jerk, I can tell yers. I feel a little pain each time, but it soon eases off, within seconds. By then, they had done their job, mission, aim… to stop me sleeping!
Either because of the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind. Or, my brain that is not communicating with that is dying off, or maybe it’s the cunning ? I’ve always had a sort of affinity with him, you know. I don’t think he likes not being liked by the souls he collects? It could be part of his plan to make living (for me) hell, then when he comes, I’ll welcome him. Just a thought. I’ve no quarrel with him at all. It’s smarty-pants Saint Peter I’d like a word with.

Sayounara.

Are any Parole Boarders reading these?

Sorry, there are so many errors in my grammar and typography. I’m so far behind again. The concentration is bad enough; but I’ve started wandering off and doing other things before the original job was done, repeatedly so. FND and Cognitive Impairment Iris, Who do I blame?
Here we go, with the many items and incidents missed, forgotten or I gave up on.

Far too dark again! I’ll try to remember tp mention it to the social lady on Monday when she comes of telephones me. Or is that on Tuesday?

Gloomy morning view…
and sky.

Hours trying to get the blog started. But Iris sent me off on so many other things to do. Carer Chris called, and I have no idea what took place.

Boy, the skies had changed.

I rang Sister Jane. Getting ready to go to the football match at the City Ground.

Ginormous!
I’m glad that’s over!

Carer Joanne came. Poor gal has lost her hair. And her catheter is giving her grief too! Not feeling up to much, bless her. But we still managed a laugh or two. I hope she’s going to be alright. ♥

My concentration and confusion was so bad, I decided to make a brew and watch the TV for a while to try yo unwind… Then…
I made the mug of tea, but could I find the TV remote? No, I couldn’t! You can see why I’ve got nothing done today, can’t you? I spent over half an hour trying to find it, without any luck. I’d search every room, pocket and drawer. Baffled! I returned to put the computer back on and thought I’d have a last look for the remote
I emptied out everything off of the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner, but didn’t find it. I thought the only place it could be, was underneath the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, itch-inspirational, crumb-containing recliner.
So, despite the orders not to bend or do any heavy lifting, I struggled… painfully to edge the recliner away from its usual position a little at a time. Each move was almost crippling my back and knees, but I was determined to find out if it was hidden under the chair. I could only do one chair move at a time. had to rest a minute or two between each one. Also, the rubbish I found each move had to be cleaned up.
Another hour or so later, I remembered I’d not collected the brew of tea yet. I was leaning on the arm of the recliner to lift myself up, and got a double-attack at just the wrong time. ! , gave way, and the at the same time! I crumpled, banging down in the aged, grotty-looking c1966 made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner. Bursting open poor  when I landed!
The agony only lasted for five minutes or so. Then I gingerly rose, grabbed a hold of precious , to the wet room to medicate my rear end, and Phorpain gelled  . I was feeling a smidge sorry for myself and agree at me at the same time. The day was getting dark, and the blog had still not been started properly yet. Standing still or sitting down hurt after that, let alone trying to hobble around. Carer Chris arrived to break my concentration further on what needed doing. When I told him of my farcical Accifauxpas, he found them amusing. Haha!

I still had to get the £300, second-hand, musty, Haemorrhoid Harold Testing, cringingly beige, not-working, rickety recliner back to its original position. The thought of having to contact the oligarchical about getting a replacement TV remote, I found daunting. Then I went to get the chair repositioned, and guess what I found, when I moved it?
Yep! The remote Control!

I can’t see things improving much.

It was well dark now, sod all done.

Went to try making another brew, and noticed the kitchen window view.
Bootiful, too!

Back on the computer, forgot all about making a mug of tea again. For a few minutes, things were going reasonably well… Carer Chris arrived. Full of the joys of spring, that cheered me up a bit.

Took two shots before the sun sank.

Gave up on the blog. no concentration left.  painfully. The ribs I hit going down on the recliner. And then, the cartilage & ribs were aching away.
Then, a flipping and dusted my spectacle and dressing gown with dried flaked-off skin! I got a letter telling me the rent was going up, along with the communal electricity, caretaking costs, and CCTV charges.

And I still had to make a meal yet. The moment I got up, more pain from the back I twisted and ribs. But these things didn’t depress me, not at all. I was already depressed anyway!

At least the skies were changing and nice.

Early hours of the morning, I made a bowl of vegetable chilli. Grand!

I found this photo on Friday that I’d missed earlier.

I think I may have made a cock-up here?

My damned ribs and back are giving me some!

My mood today was, erm… how do I explain it without repeating myself? Nothing went right, yet nothing went disastrously. I was already so far behind with everything, at the time I seemed to have a ‘Sod-It’ temperament. Which slowly, as the day went on, transformed into one of self-pity, self-cussing and a search for some intoxicant, to calm myself down.
Had I known what awaited me on Monday morning, (it is now Monday evening, and I’m just starting the blog for Sunday!) I may have considered suicide, if I wasn’t such a coward, it was that bad this morning… But I digress; I do that a lot, you know!) I’ll have to put less in and try to make time to catch up. I considered doing just a cartoon, a quiz, an ode, and local news on, and any photos I take? Here be the photos, a lot has been missed of (I hear a sigh of relief? Haha!)

Not a good start!

Morning kitchen view.

Off to the wet room…
ARGH!
Ablutions tackled.
The legs and feet looked better now. But both cartilage and backs of the knees were worse. Got the medicationing done. Two shaving cuts, a stubbed toe and a heck of a job getting the PPs on.

Computer on, CorelDraw for graphics.

On the third day of pouch emptying, I tried to photograph. It looked like semolina as the bubbles rose to the top. Hahaha!

Took an afternoon shot of the clouds.
As I took the first one, a crow flew into view.
By the time I adjusted Kodak Tim to get a close-up, he or she was long gone. Tsk!
The sun’s setting was earlier than ever tonight.

Yum, Yum!

Evening views.
Low shot.
High shot.
