Saturday 9th November 2019
Welsh: Dydd Sadwrn 9fed Tachwedd 2019

01:30: I opened my runny eyes, coughed and felt the throat sorer as I did; and spotted the pages from the scribble pad scattered around my mountainous-like body, on the recliner, the chair, the carpet, between my legs, and even one crumpled into the folds of my stomach-creases! I cunningly used the remote control to turn the TV on, so I could get some light to investigate what had been going on.
I recalled having a dream, and it came to light that the notes about the nightmare were written, but most were calligraphically incomprehensible. I don’t remember actually scrawling the reminders, but do retain some bits of the dream in the grey-cells. There were so many pages with a high amount of writing on them, how long had the dream lasted for? After going through them, I dished them into the bin because they were so alike and reminded me of a Doctor’s script, unreadable! I was taking a driving test on a bus, AEC Regent V (approx. 1965) A man behind the window at my rear, kept telling me to turn off the air-conditioning, and I was telling him, we don’t have any air-conditioning! And that is about the best I can remember about this part of the dream?

Representation wot-I-dun, of the dream
Later, or in another dream that followed, I kept throwing myself off of a roof, getting mangle when I hit the concrete pavement, then getting back up on my feet, and climbing dozens of flights of stairs back up to the rooftop, and lunging off the roof again! Repeatedly!
How it all ended, I’ve no idea.
I sensed the need for a visit to the Porcelain Throne. Out of the recliner, stick in hand and off the wetroom without delay I went. Oh, ‘eck, a painful session this one was! Things started off as usual, but half-way through, everything ground to a halt! Eery effort to get things going again nearly brought tears to my eyes. (They did actually!) Moving motion on slowly, the evacuation was completed! Ahh! The assuagement, the blessed relief! I was sure that things would be bloodied and messy in the rear-lower quarters, but no mess, and no bleeding either! Smug-Mode-Engaged!
To the kitchen and was cheered up a little more, when I realised there was no handwashing to be sorted. Smug-Mode-Stage 2-Adopted! I took the medications and a swig of the cough linctus and made a brew of Glengettie tea.
I concentrated on getting the graphics sorted on CorelDraw then, ready to go on the templates. This took a couple of hours and three mugs of tea.
Then, a pleasant surprise, I needed a wee-wee. But was not ready for the violent nature of it, after going two days with barely a trickle, the LHLB (Long-Hosepipe-Like-Blasting) wee-wee, must have been really ready to come out. And boy, did it! Haha!
I washed and returned to the computer, the ever-present humming, droning noise was getting more and more annoying! How anyone who has normal hearing can cope with it, I can’t imagine! I persevered, and another couple of hours, three blasting wee-wees and a neuropathic right-leg dance or two later, I got it finished and posted off.
I went for another brew and wee-wee (Yes, it’s flowing again, now!) I saw the moon had moved to the front of the building and took a few pictures of it. The shakes made it hard to hold steady, but I managed to get a couple of half-decent for me, close-ups.
I went on the WordPress Reader section, again some great stuff on it.
The leg cramps gave me some bother, but much more concerning was the neck cramps Likely cause I do rarely get these.
Then, off to the Throne for a second session! How such a dollop came out the size it was, gobsmacked me!
Got ready to get the ablutions done. I hope to get out today for a hobble around, and buy myself a magnifying glass so I can read the instructions on the medications and cooking ingredients on packets. Ah, well, off to the wet room.
For an amazingly incident-ridden shave and shower session. First thing, a wee-wee, that proved to me that the wee-weeing was returning to its power-mode with an LHLNC (Long-Hosepipe-Like-No-Sensation) passing. I few spots of blood from the fungal lesion, but I’ll clean and medicate things after the shower. Then:
I think the toothbrush spent more time in the sink or on the floor than it did in my hand! The fingers had suddenly become touch-insensitive, which concerned me a tad for the shaving to come.
- The toothpaste and brush were lost a couple of times.
- As I took a swig of the mouthwash, the shakes came on, and I’ve loosened one of my few remaining teggies! Tsk!
- The shaving foam was dropped twice.

- A razor went to the deck via various obstacles, like the sink, my stomach, the trolley.
- The nerve-damage cause a few slicing off of the top of the mini-boils.
- A sneeze joined in with the coughing, and I clouted my wrist on the sink rim. I ma
y have said something like, ‘Oh, dearie me!’ or ‘Bother!’ - Then, did the same thing again!
- Showered, I grabbed the head to spray off the soap, dropped it, and it hit my head, opening the bleeding again.
- As I bent to retrieve the shower-head, I clouted the bonce against the hand-rail!
I lost grip of the towel a few times. - Then the haemorrhoid cream tube, three times!
- The body spray, just once.
The legs were not looking too bad at all. No water retention or as far as I could tell, or any new spots, blobs, lumps or bruises!
The knees were looking fine, with the ridges, much of the warpedness and bruising all gone now, and the veins seemed to be dying down, too, much to my surprises. But give it time, especially after the Physio session next Tuesday! Haha!
The sock-glide battle was a draw. I got dressed and cleaned the shower, and off into the kitchen to make up the rubbish bags and one of recyclables.
I got the black bags on the trolley, big white one in my hand, and was off to the waste-chute to deposit the black ones down.
Back to the flat and checked things were all safe, and out again to the bus stop, taking the big white bag with me. Chatted briefly with a lady in the lift, then with Angela in the lobby, she was waiting for family members to pick her up, and out depositing the white bag near the caretaker’s door.
Cindy came out and we nattered as we walked to the bus stop together. I enjoyed that, I do love a good chinwag and laugh! I had some more socialisationing en route to Arnold. Where I dopped off at the Asda-Walmart store, not that getting off was easy today. As usual, I let everyone else off first so I didn’t block or delay them. But I fumbled a little getting up, and the driver closed the door before I could get to it. Haha!
It (Asda) didn’t look too busy as I approached the entrance. But when I got inside, it was mayhem! Empty shelves, dangerous trolley-pushes, impatient shoppers and an atmosphere that warned me to take care!
I was a little puddled about the bus times to get home. Cindy had told me on the bus, but with the excitement of having a yackety-yak, the bus times had drifted into the ether. But I thought things would be alright. With the L09 being only every two hours on Saturday, I could always catch a City-bound bus to Sherwood, and if I miss the L9 there, I can always take a steady walk up the hill back to the flats, so I put this worry out of my head. Smug-Mode-Adopted!

I spent over an hour on a vagabondish, ambling, peregrinating wander around, with no aims of what to buy, because I’d left the shopping list at the flat. ‘Feel-a-Twit’ Mode Engaged! I ended up at the self-serve tills with: A packet of Hoisin sauce, Cox’s apples, a tin of chilli-con-carne (On offer), Orange chocolate digestives A weakness of mine, they should never have started making them again!) and a Milk Roll Loaf.
I exited the shop and walked down Front Street to the Iceland shop, to get one of their half & half Milk Roll loaves. But they did not have any in. So, after a nosey around, I left without getting anything.
Then I foolishly called into the Boyes store. Where I got well-carried away! Especially considering I only went in to see if they ha
d any cheap Magnesium tablet for sale!
I came out after spending £27, with, Lemon Toilet spray, Two Thermal long sleeve shirts, and a fleece Pajama set! And a considerable dollop of guilt!
I walked along to the Fulton Foods store, to see if they had any bargains on offer. En route, I decided I must ring Sister Jane and Pete in the morning, to how they are and if Pete has his appointment with the special specialist yet at the City Hospital. It might be a chance for Pete to see an ‘I mustn’t Steal all the monies and valuables from my Brother-in-law when he’s in hospital’, perhaps? Hehehe!
I had an idle meander around the Fulton store. But only bought a bottle of sterilised milk, I wanted to try it with the Thompson’s teabags. I paid the lady and plodded down to the bus stops and perused which one was for a city-bound bus that went through Sherwood, and the sign indicated it was due shortly. A number 87 was expected in ten-minutes, so I settled to
wait for that one.
The smell from the Arnold District Council waste bin was not very nice.
The bus arrived, a single decker, the type with the deadly slip-offable side-saddle seating installed! And I nearly did a few times en route to Sherwood!
I got off the bus safely enough. I worked out that I had about 20 minutes before the L9 was due. Then hobbling down the hill, the three-wheel trolley-walker hit a crack in the pavement, and I all but went over! Tsk!

I had a look at the latest ‘High-Class’ Rikshaw restaurant across to the road. To see if I could spot my first customer ever seen in it, none there. It was so sad to see. The pictures of their food shown on the web are superb. The seven people working there are all young, and the photo of them at the opening,
showing such enthusiasm and hopes is disheartening. Their only mistake was positioning their business in Sherwood. So many other cooked food retailers have gone bust over the last few years. It amazes me that owners do not realise this? Let’s hope for a miracle upturn in trade.
I wanted to go into the Mind charity shop to have a look if they had by chance got a DVD of The Negotiator in stock. The Oxfam store next to it. They do have a big selection for sale normally. But I could not get up the steps into the shop with the trolley-guide. Tsk! So I tried going in there, fortunately, a chap helped me out by holding the door open for me, bless him,
as I climbed their step to get in. But it is not as bad as the Mind shop’s is to mountaineer. The Oxfam store was busy inside, and getting about by people and displays, decided me to get back out again. Oddly, the same chap who had assisted me in getting into the shop helped me out again.

I fumbled my way up to the bus shelter. Sherwood was a busy place this afternoon. With so many people about, an ignorant scum-bag of an anti-social Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclist, road in front of the bus stop where people were standing and sitting, to avoid being delayed by pedestrians who filled the pavement behind the bus stop shelter!
He certainly made me jump as the git of an animal shot by, two feet away from my face! If you are reading this you slime-ball – please come round and we can discuss your atrocious, menacing, objectionable, offensive, bullying, unacceptable, antagonistic, belligerent, illegal actions! If you are too scared, frightened out of your wits, or nervous to use the road, or just enjoy scaring old folks, you should not be on a bike! You invertebrate cowardly amoeba! Grrr!
The bus arrived, and I struggled on and was soon back at the flats. It was lovely and warm in the link-passage from Winwood to Woodthorpe Court’s lift lobby. But the goose-bumps came out once I was in there. Brr!
IA lady arrived as I was awaiting the lift, both of them were on the 15th floor? We had a little natter and laugh on the way up.
I got in the flat and had a wee-wee. Ah! Back to the WAOQ (Weak-All-Over-Quickly) jobs. I got the food purchases on the server-trolley ready for putting away.
Then back for another WAOQ wee-wee?
Full of enthusiasm, I planned my cooking of the expensive Chinese sausage. I decided to cook them with the rice in the saucepan, and the smell as they cooked drove me barmy, it was so aromatically good!
No hand-washing today. My thoughts were on this meal cooking and the expected deglutition and my coenaculous delight!
My mouth was watering as I eventually got it served up in the dish. My anticipation and phagomania were rampant…

Oh dearie me! What a blunder, faux pas, and excrescence my cooking of the sausages turned-out to be! They tasted raw! In the bin they went! I could have bawled! All that time and expense in buying the links, and again a meal ends up in the waste-tub! I did something wrong that’s for sure. Well, not all of meal this time, just the Chinese sausage. The rice with Hoisin sauce and tomatoes, was actually rather good on its own as it turned out. It got a flavour-rating of 7/10 from me. I must ask my cyber-buddy Tim, what I did wrong, or didn’t do that I should have. (As it happens, in the morning a message was received from the lad, telling me a way to cook, boil the sausages, before adding them to the rice, so that’s the plan for the rest of the sausages for Saturday night’s meal)
The fatigue dawned, and I got a DVD on, the Hustle one, season Two part one on the TV. After only ten minutes or so of short nodding-offs and rewinds, the blessed sleep overcame me… blessedly also, no odd dreams followed!
23:50hrs, I sprang awake in need of a wee-wee… Here we go again, Hahaha!

I used the GPWWB (Grey-Plastic-Wee-Wee-Bucket) for a DAAFJ (Drips-And-All-Finished-Job) wee-wee. cleansed the bucket, washed the dandies, moved the handwashing, hanging and on the airers. Kettle on, and took the medications, then made the brew. Fetched the camera and took a fairish snap of the morning’s view. Of course, it was raining. Tsk!
The Christmas pressies and som Chinese sausages are being delivered today, from Amazon. I’ll check the tracker, hang on a minute… Nope, they have not arrived at the depot for distribution yet. So, it’s likely that a lateish delivery will be made. My estimation would be 16:00hrs. Of course, I could well be wrong and it does say up to 21:00hrs, Mmm! I hope the yare easy to cook in the oven, or maybe in the pan with the rice, I’ll check later.
The Amazon parcels arrived.
The chicken meal, I’d added some extra black bean sauce in it, too much really. And with nodding-off like wot I did, the cobs came out of the oven looking rather too overcooked to eat. But I put them on the tray to give them a try, and they turned out scrumptiously tasty! Fair enough, they were that hard-crusted, the mouth ulcers bled; but for flavour like that, it was a little price to pay! It took me ages to get through, but I savoured every blood-letting, ulcer tearing, mouthful! Gorgeous! Taste-Rating, 9/10!

There were no demands being made for any Porcelain Throne or wee-weeing activity! That was a worry, really. After months of flowing wee-wees, and on waking up Throne needs, today neither? I hobbled through to the kitchen and got the kettle on, moved the hand-washing onto the airers to encourage them to dry, they were still almost wet.
The new Magnesium tablets, I thought it would be best taken on two halves, they were so gigantic in size.
That reminds me, I’ll have a swig of the linctus now.
for the flat 24/7! Found nowt. Grrr!
I made another brew of tea (fancy that!) and used the different milk I bought yesterday, the organic one. Tasted okay.
Then the computer became unresponsive, and would not let me close or open anything, the light on the mouse was not showing. Even the Window start button would not let me close anything down safely. So, I opened the mouse, cleaned it, and put new batteries in. Somehow managing not to lose-it entirely as I did so.
Then, after rebooting yet again, I went into my Norton and did a defrag. Nothing had changed! One more close-down and reset, then back into Norton. Which this time lit up attention needed button, which I clicked on, and it went through a few jobs and reported that it had saved so much memory, and the computer is now tuned-up. With trepidation, I started the network, which worked and then the Internet again, and opened WordPress – I could have cried for joy, as things were now working once more! I might even have shed a few tears of joy, actually! Don’t laugh! Oh, go on then!
I finally got around to doing the graphics to let me carry on with the blogging. But it’s going to be a long job, so I had a change of heart, and started on this blog instead.

I got diverted there, sorry.

I made a brew of strong flavoured Thompsons tea and took the morning medications.
I had a viewing of the book on 1950’s cars loved in England. I had the urge to go somewhere other than the Asda-Walmart to do my shopping after they had let me down with the delivery, so I dropped off in Daybrook and went straight into the Sainsburys store. Which proved to be an expensive choice. Tsk!
I came out of the store, feeling an even bigger shmo than earlier, and panicked a smidge, convinced I would now miss the bus. Fortunately, the L9 was a couple of minutes late, and I made it with about 30 seconds to spare. So, the day was mixed with some good and bad luck! A couple of Winwoodonian’s who got on the same bus pointed out how lucky I was!
I got the receipt out and read through it on the way home. Surimi Royal fish, Graham’s whole organic milk, a can of gammon, a turnip, black beans, cough linctus (I can keep one in the shopping bag for when I’m out, the other in the kitchen. [Smug-Mode-Adopted]) baby beetroot, packets of mild chilli sauce, passata, roast cashew nuts, the DVD ‘We Die, Young’, a cheese baton, Dried onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and a pot of Magnesium tablets (Cramp-easers!) Unnervingly, I realised I had bought both a vegetarian and a proper meat packets of Pork Ribs in sauce. I do remember looking at them both but felt sure I got only the meat one… Obviously, I was wrong. Another bêtise on my behalf, Grumph! I’ll have this for tonight’s nosh, and get it out of the way. Otherwise, I’ll never eat it, served me right!
Back at the flats, I made my way through the link-passage into the big room. Where I stopped for a natter with a couple of folks. The fruit and veg man had not yet set-up his stall, so I thought I can always pop down again later. Which of course didn’t happen, I forgot all about it!)
I got the meal served-up on the serving tray, I used the oven dish instead of a plate, to save time washing up Hehe! It appeared to be tasty enough to me, with the tom’s and mushrooms, an apple the cheesy baton, and a can of Pepsi, I got settled into the recliner to feast! Full of contentment and anticipation.
What words can I use? What can I say? Just when I anticipated a royal feast and thought my allotriophagy had found success. The flavour and context, of the imitation pork, was disgusting! Deglutition was hard, especially with the sore throat. Most of this abhorrent meal was binned, and rightfully so! Oy-yoy-yoy, the disgustingest and indigestible, chronically bad-tasting vegetarian dish I’ve ever had! Eurgh! All sugary and sweet! My Taste-Rating of 1/10 is the best I can manage, I might as well of just ate a bag of sugar!

I made a good-strong brew of the Thompson tea and took the medications.
The Porcelain Throne was needed, and I got to the wet room in plenty of time for once. Not so messy this time at all, but lots of it again, and a bit of bleeding afterwards. However, Little Inchy was not leaking or bleeding, that was good! I changed PP’s and had a close look at the plates-of-meat, after their treatment yesterday. Now I have got to remember to go back in two weeks, to book the next appointment. I’ll put it in the Google Calendar now… All done! I’ll make a Morrison order methinks for next week, while I think of it, and I have time to now, with getting up so ridiculously early again. My EQ tells me to expect tsuris today. So maybe it would be best not to go to the Physio session? Anyway, I’ll get the order made up. All done!

I got myself ready for the walk in the rain and dark to catch the bus
I took a snap of the giant electronic advertising board as I crossed the road after getting off of the bus. This turned out to be another of the extremely dark for some reason pictures? It baffled me, why? I walked the length of the mall to the other end, and into Tesco. No rush, I had plenty of time, so I went on a bargain or treat hunt! Which took some time. I came put with: Treats for Christmas (I just hope the bomb works for Brother-in-Law Pete!) Hahahaha, only joking, honest! Milk Roll bread, pack of puff-pastry fingers, and some biscuits for the gang at the After-Stroke Physio Torture, I mean session.
Off to the church hall, and found there were eight stroke-survivors there already, and the nurse and Obergruppenfurheress team leader. I handed the nibbles on the counter in the kitchen area.

I made my way to Queen Street and decided to catch the 40 bus. It was only a few minutes before the L9 was due, but this bus gets close to the flats in about ten-minutes quicker than the L9 does. Mind you, I then have to tackle crossing the road on the steep hill and sharp bend, but still, I enjoyed getting soaked again, waiting for a gap in the traffic! Oh, dearie me!
I got down Chestnut Walk eventually, the. And took this picture of Winwood Heights in the rain.
As I limped on towards home. I had to get off of the pavement, to avoid getting some of the thousands of leaves on the wheels of the trolley guide. Then having to spend ages in the rain cleaning it up to get it free of detritus enough to go inside the flats.
I got to in through the Winwood Court lobby and walked along the link-passage into Woodthorpe Court. By gum, it was cold in the Woodthorpe Court lift lobby! Where the lads were working still, on the Fire Sprinkler installation, as you can see in the picture here.
Up in the lift, and into the flat. The thirst was still at its height, and I got the kettle on to have a mug of Thompson tea and took the evening medications.
I had a look-out from the crumbling balcony, to see if any fireworks were going off to photograph yet, but there were none in sight.
The intercom would not let me view the entrance door at all! But it did show No missed calls and Do Not Disturb option not chosen. So, had the Asda delivery arrived, I think I should have heard or seen the light come on?

Pee’d off with things now! I got the sarnies put did the chips and piled other stuff on the plate. Until I saw this photo, I wasn’t sure what I had attempted to eat.
g four hours later, finding that I had tipped the whole meal into the waste bin, all the fodder, fork and spoon included! I was struggling to breathe, the sore throat and cough started off…

23:00hrs: Already awake, after cleaning up the mess from my leaving the potatoes boiling while I fell to sleep! I did the handwashing and then got on the computer to update yesterday’s diary.
took the morning’s medications, with just a Simvastatin and the Warfarin tablets from those missed off.

Got myself dressed and freshened up. Took the black bags to the waste chute. Then went down in the lift to talk to and see the Wardens, but none were in the room. So I dropped the PPs in through the new kitchen in the Winwood room. Popped into the big social area, and dropped the PPs off in the kitchen window. Noticed some stuff for sale?
ide through the Al Fresco area door. It was awfully wet out there. Haha! Got back to the flat, and Josie brought the tray and plate back from yesterdays nosh. I am mostest pleased to report that after interrogation, she revealed that she enjoyed the smoked haddock and cheesy-potatoes. So, I’ll do some more next week.

Over the road and to the Wilko store. Where I stocked up with, Dettol Disinfectant spray, Ylang laundry freshener, bleach and some yoghourt peanuts.
, and right down Elmswood Gardens and into the Sherwood Health Centre.
The welcoming smile of the young female receptionist, who remembered my name, and what I was going to the centre for! Bless her, this cheered me up!
AS I got to the bus shelter in Sherwood, things got a little dark, and I anticipated some heavy rain is due. But it held off.
Back at the flats, I waited until last and dismounted the bus. Made my way in the Windwood Court entrance, and down the link-passage. As I ambled with the three-wheeler along the corridor, I could see how the sunshine has come out again at the far-end windows.1111
I put the roast vegetable risotto ready nosh in the oven as soon at it reached temp.
I got the meal prepared. It didn’t look appealing, just like the earlier ones didn’t, but my gum, it tasted delicious! I masticated, savoured and slurped away at it for ages, enjoying every mouthful!

Settled in the Xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete damaged, while he was flat-sitting, when I was in the Stroke Ward, and he fitted new CCTC cameras, and searched for my valuables, which he found and took, (I still haven’t got them back yet six-months later), £300, second-hand, near-dilapidated, gungy-beige coloured, c1968, sometimes working, uncomfortable, rickety, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner. I got the headphones on, and the TV going… ZZZ!

I made a most tastefully satisfying brew of the Thompson tea. I’m addicted to this brand and Glengettie Gold tea bags. But fear that finding any Glengettie Gold locally may just be impossible! Ocado has none in stock and might not be restocking. As they have left the availability of the tea on their website as available, and you do not find out they have none until you get to the checkout! If you miss it, they’ll send substitutes! The Swine! This week is the third time I’ve made an order with them, and had to cancel it! I went on the Typhoo, who owns the Glengettie brand, web site. I got a Norton message telling me it was unsafe! I searched the web for local stockists but found none. ‘Grr! The only place I found any on was Amazon! Thank heavens!
arted on updating the Sunday post, but it was hard work with the finger-end nerves so bad. Ever correcting and making mistakes. None of them an ignotism, it’s not my fault, and I have to cope best I can. But, it’s getting to me this morning. Hindering, impeding, and aggravating, Globbledigooks!
Taking my pictures was not plain sailing. I had no sense that the hand was shaking, but could see on the camera screen, that it was. But could not do anything about it. Grumph!
I tried taking a snap from the unwanted, crap, light & view-blocking, thick-framed new kitchen window after getting the washing done. But had to take four shots of the view above, to get this one that was okay. (My EQ, just knew I’d have to pay for having a decent day, [apart from getting soaked in the rain, Hehe!] yesterday!)
Time to get Josie’s nosh prepared. Something a little different for her today. The tuna mixed with mayonnaise, plus some oven-baked smoked haddock on the plate. Mushrooms, gherkins, and tomatoes. Fresh orange juice and naughty but extremely nice, Limoncello desert.
I noticed that the arm bruise had already lost its yellowish glow, and was disappearing fast now. I thought I could see a face-pattern in the markings, that’s why I took this picture but blown if I can see it now. Hehehe!
As Malcolm Cowley wisely said: “They tell you that you’ll lose your mind when you grow older. What they don’t tell you is that you won’t miss it very much” Hehehe!

Washed up, and off to the kitchen, for my first mug of the Thompson’s tea. (That was delivered yesterday from Amazon). It was a delight for me to taste it once again.
back up the hill. I took a shot from the unwanted new kitchen windows that cannot be reached for cleaning, without risking life and limb, of the scene outside.
I had to use the Porcelain Throne first, leaving a highly-undesirable aroma to inhale while doing the ablutions. (Eurgh!) The pins (legs), seemed a little less veiny, though. The session brought forth very few dropsies, however. The toothpaste and brush, a few razor-drops, and the shower-head.
I got part-dressed and came out to turn off the power supply. And I found some mail again in the letterbox. A repeat of the CityCare After-Stroke information about the upcoming (Next week on Friday) follow-up assessment visit. I must check it later, to see if there are any changes.
Back in the wet room, to do battle with the sock-glide. I lost the struggle today, in as much as, I trapped my fingers in the gripper twice and banged my poor little toe when inserting the right leg. But, having got on the extra-long bamboo socks, I must say, the legs looked a lot sexier! Hehehe!
r me, I thanked him and carried the bags through to the kitchen. On unpacking and storing them away, I came across a large 2 ltr tub of Flora light spread? I could not recall ordering this at all? So as I unpacked the things, I put this spread, some Seaweed packets, cakes and pop in a bag, to take when I go out and drop off at the Breakfast Club session as I pass. I can hand-out some nibbles as well. I’ve not done that for a while, not since the new Windwood Court started being used for the Social Hour. Now they have a coffee-morning, breakfast sessions and the cafe open a few hours on some days. The new team have the facilities to hand now and are forging ahead.
I’d treated Josie and myself to some special offer smoked haddock, at three 400gm bags for £10. This ensured I had one heck of a struggle to find room for them in the freezer! Also, the fridge was son over-filled again. Haha!
!
just a few stops, it was nice to have a mini-waffle with others. I got off along with a man and wife who I see and talk to sometimes on the bus, and we chatted as we walked along, getting thoroughly sudoriferous in the rain, to the Aldi Store. A darned imbecilic Pavement Cyclist flew by us, so close to catching the lady. Oy Vey! What a slime-ball!
Then, out in the persistent precipitation, to the bus stop.
The leaves and gunk were clinging to the wheels of the walker. Humph! When I arrived at the stop, I seemed to be getting wetter quicker? I realised it was the direction of the wind. So I walked down and around the bend to the next bus stop, where I was hidden a bit from the wind-driven rain.
The bus arrived, and some residents of Winwood Heights were on it, and an enjoyable to me, nattering session took place as we travelled the few bus stops back to flats. I was nearly last off of the bus, and out into the rain, now only drizzling, I bade farewell to the others and returned through the link passageway to Woodthorpe Court.
The difference in temperature, from Winwood and Woodthorpe Courts, as I went through the swipe door, was plain to feel. Brrr!
I had the Roast Vegetable Risotto and frankfurters again. But this time, used black bean sauce, not the BBQ. I added sliced tomatoes and garden peas to the sauce and mixed it all in with the meal when it was cooked. Very good flavour! 9.2/10.

I got in the kitchen what seemed like hours after I’d woken up, but it was only half an hour or so. I took the medications and made a brew, the first of oh so many today! The thirst was with me again and as strong as ever. I leaned out of the appallingly badly designed new kitchen window, to take a shot of the morning view.
and nearly went over. But my being such a fit, athletic, in tip-top condition, agile, nimble sort of energetic young man, I used my tremendous courage and physical abilities to avoid falling over. This may be pandiculating the truth a tad? Hehehe! This wee-wee was another unsettling LSDOP type.
socks off! Smugness Creeping in Here! Haha!

Well, here it is (Above) Humph!
calling next Friday 11:40 to 12:40hrs.
I checked on the Tracker for the Amazon deliveries. Best as I could tell, the torches and tea bags might arrive for 19hrs, and the Dressing Gown via Post Office delivery could be about October next year. Haha!
ound 14:00hrs, the doorbell chimed, and a highly-stressed looking Post Office worker, delivered the parcel containing the cheapo-clearance sale priced dressing gown. Which was a bit of a disappointment in many ways. The deep brown colour on the one shown on Amazon (Left), turned out to be a terribly uneven beige sort of tone, Mind you, I am partially colour blind. I opened the package, and bits of cotton fell out of it. Took the towelling cotton gown out, and even more bits of fluff and white cotton ended up on the carpet. I hung up the purchase to photograph it, and left a trail of bits from junk room to the kitchen, in the hallway. Closer inspection, and reading of the paperwork, this was a one-size option? Although I clicked on Large/Extra Large on the order page, the thing was a little small for my endomorphic, adipose, and overweight, many stomach-folds and chins adorned body to fit into. Hey-Ho! Always the Shlimazel!
Around 15:25hrs, the intercom lit-up and rang out. Fortunately, I was in the hallway at the time, it was the Amazon delivery. I opened the foyer door and waiting for the chap to arrive at the flat. He handed the parcel over, I thanked the young man, off he shot, and I took the stuff into the kitchen, to open and inspect the contents.
I tried out one of the wind-up torches, and it worked fine. I left one on the Ottoman near the recliner, for my use, and put the other three away as pressies for Christmas. I resisted making a brew of the Punjana black tea, I would enjoy that treat in the morning, I was too tired to appreciate it at the moment. I still had a part-filled mug of Glengettie anyway.
The mixture did not look overly attractive when I served it up and mixed in the Korean BBQ sauce and tomatoes in the dish.

However, despite the recent altercationalistic happenings, sleep actually came, no getting up for any wee-wees, no dream and no ailment pains woke me up? They perhaps felt sorry for me? Hahaha!

I made a brew of tea, took an Aperture setting photo of the morning sky. Converted it to 32 bit, and it came out alrightish.
Although the pins (legs, knees) were not looking too healthy this morning. A new series of multi-coloured extra-large Clopidogrel blotches had appeared, as well as spots, blotches and welts! The knees looked very painful, but in fact, didn’t feel too bad at all?
The Morrison delivery arrived, I let him in the foyer door, (Yes the intercom was working!)
Mary caught the bus to Arnold, and I set off on a hobble to the Asian store in Hockley. On the way,
I cut through Heathcoat Street onto Goosegate, and noticed the Oriental Mart shop, and called in for a walk around. Blimey, it was messy and dirty in there. I did have a good search around to find Chinese sausages, eventually finding some in a fridge. But they were all dried air-tight packed ones. The writing was in Korean, Japanese or Chinese, and they did not look attractive at all, so I left, and carried on to the end of the road and left down the hill, to the Asiana Express shop.

Unsure of how to cook them anyway, I left them and looked around and found some seaweed snacks and Skewered Beancurd nibbles. I think I have tried the beancurd before and liked it, but, of course, I may be getting this mixed up with something else.
Knowing my recently increasing propensity for disorientation, and bewilderment, along with my involuntary adoption of a hazy-dazed-state of befuddlement, I might be wrong. Tsk! I also got tempted, by a bottle of Marca Pina Vinegar (Sukang Puti Vinegar), Made in the Philippines.
I paid the lady the requested £9.64, and departed, up the hill towards Carlton Street.
, I was given plenty of chances to picture the many law-breaking and getting away with it, Nottinghamian Pavement Cyclists going up and down.
Top of the hill, I spotted an imitation policeman and a Sainsbury security guard, outside the store, having a good chinwag and laugh about something or other. I took this photograph just to prove that I actually saw an Police officer, on foot, in Nottingham City centre (Albeit an imitation one!)
I moved on down the hill on Pelham Street, where a gauntlet of beggars, salesmen and women and a counterfeit-bogus Big Issue seller (No badge, and only one copy of a very out of date magazine! Oh, yes, my investigative skills were on the boil, here!), each after some money of some kind from me. They didn’t get any!
I left the handwashing for tomorrow, (Which I may regret) and got the nosh sorted out. I put some black bean sauce in the pan, then the frankfurters, next, the rice and a little BBQ sauce. Ten minutes later, it was in the bowl on the tray with some Milk Roll bread, orange juice and a Limoncello dessert, oh and some seaweed nibble sheets.
I got the headphones on. It was heavenly ecstasy, utopian, pure-pleasure, I fell asleep. I even began dreaming of a wonderfully pleasant, non-irritational, no-hassle life I was living in a cottage with Suzie and our family. I’ve never dreamt of such happy-perfection before. It was Bliss!
