I’ve seen things through my flat window,
It’ll do no harm now, to let you know,
Last June, one thing stopped my blogging flow,
A man in the tree copse, blowing a zuflolo,
What happened, you won’t believe, though…
A bird flew down, settling on his elbow,
He got out a bag of bread, of sourdough,
And, proceeded to feed the crow…
A spitting image of David Attenborough,
He put two fingers up at me from below.

Another Challenging Day (Fancy that)

Carer Ejaz arrived late, not that it mattered in the slightest. I was asleep in bed when the intercom rang, and soon discovered what was to be the master ailment of the day.
The Onychovryptosis: ingrowing toenail!
Getting out of bed and knocking the toe on the edge-end, rushing if you can call it that, to get to the panel to admit him in time – I didn’t get there on time.
Ejaz graded the dark urine, and was in pain in his back. Phorpained it a bit. Ejaz examined the toe and declared there were no marks, swelling, or bruises. It was paiful all through the day… whenever I stood on it.
Seeing me struggle to get around, he phoned the district nurses. They told him someone would call.

I took a snap of the view after Ejaz departed.
Not many lights on out there yet? I was wondering if today is a bank holiday?
No wash, shave, or teggies cleaned. Despite the pain in my toe, I launched into a mood and just did what I fancied!
I decided to make a brew of Glengettie…
I’d left the hot tap running! Rang cold!

A Community Nurse arrived and removed the sock to examine the toe. The resulting advice and information were: There is no skin damage and no signs of infection. You’ll have to see a chropodist.
Then the gal set about replacing the entire Catheter Cathy Contraption for me. Including fitting a fresh day bag, bless her. A grand job was done.

I meandered hobblingly, using some choice language at whatever it is that’s giving my toe such pain en route, A sot of the houses without any lights on. Then I checked out the end car park. I recall struggling to close the balcony door.
Next thing I find is that I’m lying on the bed! Coming round from a seizure, judging by the acid reflux coming up. I didn’t realise that I had been out of it for so long. The clock told me it was about an hour-long session.
I got off the bed… and , but tempered the pain, mentally, but not physically. Horis was with me again like yesterday. I was not getting anything done that needed doing, and spent so long on the word listings again, it was 17:00hrs before I knew it!
Not sure why I could not recall it, but on the notepad were this week’s INR dosages, the surgery possibly rang me? Or, did someone visit?

I only kept going with the word list! What a Clot!
I knew it, but was not concerned. I am now, after getting nothing done and trying to catch up on this blog. Truth is, today was a bit of a haze.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I was told to prepare for all contingencies,
I looked this word up in local libraries,
I accidentally looked up continencies,
Was it summat about taking a piss?
Why would Dad want to tell me this?
He also said I can recall the basics…
On yer paper round, don’t talk to strangers,
And don’t put on any airs & graces…
If anyone tries to rob yer, ki
ck him in the knackers,
If you tear a paper in the letterboxes,
Put a note through with your apologies,
If a dog bites yer or attacks with its claws,
Don’t scream or make any noises…
Waking people up will bring annoyance & grudges!
In the rain, don’t get the paper wet with smudges,
Alright if it gets damp, but not if it oozes,

And use blinds or drapes, but never portières.
I’m not too keen on raviolis,
Not up to doing any exercises,
I wake before the day rises,
That’s due to my nocturnal seizures,
Strong chill, too hot, but I like milder spices,
Used love fondling, groping in various guises,
I’m too old to have any sexual fetishes,
Now, a mug of tea & listen to the Archers,
In pain from the fallen arches,
Stuck indoors, no need for coats & parkas,
Some people are nosey-parkers, not the nurses,
The last woman I fancied was into parrillas,
It was shocking, and she charged us!
Still, I’m ready for reembraces!

Hectic day again.
I’m miles behind again; at this moment, it’s 16:55hrs tomorrow (Friday)! Just got this far with the blog!
A few notes of the day, No doubt some lost and not o the notepad with me getting more and more uptight & frustrated. Then, the few photos I’ve taken.
I’ll have to stop to make a meal sometime, so I will have to finish this Saturday morning… I’m getting Anne Gyna back again now, and she is not in a good mood with me. Well, she can… Soddit! Duodenal Donald has joined in now! Grumph!

Anne Gyna woke me up at 0520hrs, so I rose and sorted out the night bag. Went to make a mug of tea and make an early start on my Wednesday blog finishing. Thinking I could catch up, I’m losing this. Hahaha! pillockCarer Ejaz arrived. Medications were administered, and ankles, feet, and legs were checked. Much better all round, great!
I spent hours on Odeing, searching for new words to use and getting carried away.

Then, I decided to search for a place that sells footspray and Co-codamol.

Lost hours with the time needed to come out of the many mini-seizures. So many blanks.

Erm…
Afternoon Clouds Delight

Well, things indeed became more concentrated after I made the meal: A baguette cut into three, no-butter butter, many slices of salted green tomatoes lashed into them. A Silesian sausage and crisps.
I found the pot of jelly on Friday night; I’d dropped it when I fell asleep.

– – – OLD ODE – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I thought I’d discovered a way of saving the photographs without CorelDraw cutting me off. I had to use the old CorelDraw; the new version, which cost nearly £400, is not letting me export or save.
After 6 hours of importing photos one at a time and saving them individually, I found out that CorelDraw would not let me save anything in the old version! It kept either freezing or closing down on its own accord. I had to keep stopping for Ejaz’s call. Ejaz got the bags for me in the kitchen when the food delivery arrived. Issued the medications, put the diabetic socks on for me, and Barrier creamed the bleeding thigh. Then, it took me a long time to put the fodder away. A good job that I was up earlyish, and got the ablutions and torso-medicationings done. Eyes, ears, toothache tincture and shaved without a single cut! Smug-Mode-Utilised.
Back to the computer. It closed down on me twice and froze on me three times. By the time I’d got the photos from yesterday in the WP gallery, with interruptions, I’d been at it for eight hours!
After all that effort, I hope I can get them off the gallery to go in without any more cock-ups! Ah, well, here I go… Oh, dear, the second Carer call is due anytime now. I’ll see how it goes. Wish me luck?
No, don’t waste your breath. Haha!

Just some of the clothing that no longer fits me. Taken in mid-clear-up.
This rack was chocker-block full. At least Joe saved some for me after checking if they should fit onto my chunky, whacking great, super-duper-sized, walloping, cyclopean, elephantine body. Not many!
The rail racking had even less that would fit!
Two 60-litre waste bags full of unfitting clothing were packed and ready to be picked up by Carer Joe later. Joe made a funny quip after we stopped to get the laundry sorted out. I think I said about the drier?
“When Gerry looked after, in despair…

His clothes racks were bare!”
Hehehe!

I had three messages, well, phone calls that I’d had; One from the medics, One that I couldn’t decipher, one that I couldn’t hear from the Doctor’s surgery. This one said, “You’ve contacted the Doctor to ask for a home visit, didn’t you?” I vaguely remember Carer Joe calling them to get an appointment. He may have asked if a home visit was available. I asked him to ring back later. Carer Jazz came, not Joe, so the confusion may have developed because Ejaz didn’t ask. Then, I later got a call from the matron, but I couldn’t recall what it was about.
Ejaz said I have to call Matron Jackie. That’s all on the note he left.

Back to the plot, I got a bit off-kilter there. Sorry.

Oh, I nearly forgot to put the meal photos on.
Roasted some potatoes in the oven.
Mixed then in the ready meal.
Got them into the oven.
Just out of the microwave.
A darned decent tasty flavour!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I stirred back into the offendedness of life’s miserable existence. I was worried. About the CorelDraw farce, the computer blue screen of death comes up. The bank balance received by text has never been lower since 1980!
I’m confused by all the medical messages I’m getting and blown away by how many helpers suddenly come in. It baffles me when someone mentions something from a few days ago, and I cannot determine its concerns. I vaguely get partial memories come back, but they make things worse and worry me all the more. I’m waffling again, aren’t I? I’m well-versed and pretty good at that!

I was in the wet room by about 05:15hrs.
As I stripped off, I realised I had only had one mini-seizure in an hour, and more importantly, I was not in any depression! Yet with all the extra bothers, confusion and misleading medical mayhem, I had good reason to be feeling down – but I wasn’t!
Only the other day, when I had a mother of Deep , I couldn’t think why.
The opposite happened this morning. I thI’veI’ve worked out why. It is when the reasons for a depression weigh heavily on me I can go into a sort of, well, ‘Sod-it, I can’t win!’ mode. Sometimes, how I feel now is the reason. Or maybe not.

I tried the tricks explained earlier to get CorelDraw to permit me to save and store things. I lost hours and hours as CorelDraw froze or crashed repeatedly. No, I’ve written that already, I think.
The shaving was back near to normal this morning. Three nicks, a dropped razor, and the aftershave Brut bottle. There were no other injuries, though. Unless you count when on leaving the wet room, I shoulder-charged the edge of the doorframe. Although that didn’t actually hurt much, it started off that did hurt a bit. She’ll have my shoulder socket ball out one of these flipping days! Hehe!
The only thing that bothered me was that    had returned. I won’t complain; she has given me several days of rest. I’ve missed her roaming stabbing pains. Secretly, whenever she attacks, I try to guess where she’ll hit me next time. Areas so far that have felt her wrath: Neck, jaw, shoulders, arms, back, or, even occasionally, the upper abdomen. That’s her favourite attack route for me. Her abdominal playground is under one arm and around the other. She rarely gets me there. (Just watch how things go now that I’ve just said that!)

Ah, much better!

The part-mystery of this note has been solved.
The
surgery receptionist called me on the mobile, so it was not easy to hear her, but she was patient with her patients. Hehe! She made the appointment for my yearly Health Check (shown earlier), but I am not concentrating well today. Nothing new there, then. For Thurs, May 29th, a home visit! Great!

Had an early meal tonight. Salad.
A sliced baked potato and tomato (Dutch), caramelised beetroot, and red onions (tasty!). With some Milk Roll sliced bread slathered with the gorgeously tasty No Butter, Butter (by Flora). The only let-down was the so-called Mature Cheddar cheese. I’ve tasted tastier newspapers! But all the rest of the dish made was up for this, somewhat.
As a warning to any UK mild, insipid cheese-lovers, it was Cathedral City Mature. If you happen to like tasteless, weak, bland, pale, uncrumbly, rubbery cheddar, this is the brand for you!

Grim: You like nature, don’t you?
Inchy: I used to like women, but now it’s a no-no!

Inchy: It doesn’t, no cuddles or fandango…
No sex or snogging makes me feel so low,

Inchy: Are you saying he’s real… St. Peter?
Grim: I shouldn’t really tell yer…
as you’ll croak out sooner rather than later,
Inchy: Yes, yes, okay, please tell me…
Grim: I really shouldn’t oughter…
St Peter was invented by a Grim Reaper,
Inchy: You? Was it you who invented Peter?
Grim: Well, yes, I had to make it obscure,
So earthlings would never be sure…
Inchy: Yes, yes, yes, tell me more…
Grim: I’d hate victim’s death to be vin ordinaire,
Inchy: I think you really care!
Grim: I do, I do, look at what we share!
Neither of us can have sexual rumpy-pumpy,
Inchy: Very accurate, not our fault, amazingly,
Grim: We’ve no friends apart from each other,
Inchy: Yes, all and sundry can, annoyingly…
Grim: Starmer is our mutual archenemy,
Inchy: True, spot-on accuracy!
Grim: Neither of us show animosity…
Although we both share an animosity,
Inchy: Do we really?
Grim: Yes, towards Heaven & Hell surprisingly,
You accept death most acquiescingly!
Inchy: That’s cause life’s gone miserably,
Grim: They’ll rebirth me, non-consentingly,
With no freaking regrets or apology!
Inchy: The swine, absolutely!
Grim: 2000 years plus, I’ve been reaping!
Without stopping or ever sleeping,
Not one soul collected ever went missing…
Inchy: They’ve treated you abominably…
Grim: Hence, I share your misery, Inchy,
Inchy: Anything I can do to help, possibly?
Grim: We face futures brokenheartedly,
You for not dying, me for reliving…
Inchy: What are you saying?
Grim: When you die, I’ll not collect your soul,
Inchy: Can you not make an appeal?
Grim: To God or the Devil, you cannot appeal,
Even I don’t know if they’re real…
their decision sends me apoplectical,
your world, soon to be mine, is adumbral,
Inchy, what should I be anticipating?

05:00hrs: I woke up; the moment I moved, I was greeted with severe pains in my left & right feet.  Onychovryptosis Ingrowing Toenails, damaged during the cutting, I had to pay £35 for last Friday. Bad as the pain was, I think it was a smidgeon easier than yesterday, but that was absolute agony! I decided then not to have the diabetic socks put on today. But daren’t leave them off for too long. Or the leg growths will start to leak again. I can’t win! Haha! Honestly, I do try!
I removed and emptied the nocturnal catheter pouch. I poured some into an old clear plastic yoghourt pot for the Carer to assess the NHS colour grading chart for me later, and then I took a photo of it (5.5 on the scale)

Moving to the kitchen after imagining that I’d done my balance exercises, I stubbed my right toe against the ottoman. A few curses, with a fair degree of swearing later, ARRGH!
The same left foot with the big toe was the problem a second time. I took a kitchenette shot en route to the wet room to visit the Porcelain Throne. Trosky’s comeback from yesterday was short-lived.
Had returned. A reluctant whopper was eventually released into the water, which needed three flushes, then a prod with a bamboo cane and a third flush to encourage it to the sewer. I hope it doesn’t cause a blockage. Hehehe!

07:00 hrs, Carer Ejaz arrived. He seemed happier today. I think my saying the socks will have to be left off and telling him why cheered him a little. The medications were issued, and he dabbed some barrier cream on the ingrowing toenails. Well, it might help. He also put some on the rough, thickening right ankle of .
Ejaz took these two shots of feet and poot little and big toes. The big toes seem to have gotten larger overnight? Is that possible? Both hallux toes also seemed to be curling beneath the other toes? Does anyone else out there have or had this before? The smaller toes seem to be more bent? Hey-Ho! Ajaz checked the torso for scabs, bruises, or wounds but found none. Well, a few new red-spot growths on the right top thigh. They come and go at will. After the lad had gone, I went to make a brew of Co-op 99 tea and took this snap on the right when I saw how the sky had reddened.

At 13:30 hrs, Carer Jasmin arrived. She examined the toes and applied some Savlon. She said the toes (the ingrowing pair) had been cut down far too much when they were cut, Jasmin said.

Carer ‘Joe’ did the teatime call; he’s a good bloke.

Baked potatoes in husks, frankfurters, and nothing else. Well, I had an ice cream cornet for afters.

Night shots of the dramatic-looking sky.
And a close-up to follow.
They had a dour beauty, do you think?

As my past mistakes are unretrievable,
Bad memory; some things unrepeatable,
My love of Odeing is restrainable,
Even if they do turn out unreadable…
My ailments: all are irremovable,
Humankind’s future: unimaginable,
Might it include something ufological?
Or unecological, unethical, likely political,
HMG’s gone abnormal, celestial, paranormal,
Living costs rising, workers panhandle,
Wars raging, oligarchs, behooveful,
Our PM, a greedy parasitic, barnacle,
Ministers are only self-beneficential.
Labour used to be social, democratical,
Now they are Tories and demagogical!
Degenerate, corrupt, decadent, & cruel,
Their guilty deeds, open to construal,
Their faults are blatant, not circumstantial,
Keir is a blatant liar and criminal,
Misleading, deceptive, and casuistical,
Starmer is bifacial, if not trifacial…
His answers are quodlibetical…
His plans and actions are often quixotical,
His excuses for his lies are tarradiddle,
His plans either turn out theoretical,

Not that his MPs want to quarrel,
Quizzing Herr Starmer? Unthinkable!
He claims each morning, he eats eggs and quail…
Personally, I think he should go on trial,
It’s not that I want to moan or quibble,
But, for his actions & lies, he should be in jail,
With his history, he’d be good, juristical,
I suppose I’m sounding a little judgemental?
I think he’s plainly, justifiably, jailable!
Seriously, I’m not joking or being facetious!
I’d send him a daffodil or Jonquil,
Awaiting the return of The Jackal!
Obviously, politicians must be intrapreneurial,
Muslim, Christian, Jew or infidel,
Locking the git up would not be ideal,
No one else can lead the party, I feel,
Well, whoever, like him, would be funeral,
Parliament would turn phantasmagorical,
No change there, it’s always been farcical,
With the backhand takers, all fissilingual,
With their deceit, drivel and folderol!
I’d miss Herr Starmer’s verbal flummadiddle,
I don’t want to overdo it, make it dramatical,
Or make this Ode complicated or daedal,
I hope you find humour in this doggerel,
If not, blame my being demential…
That should keep me out of trouble!

THE DAY OF THE SEIZURES
Sorry, but this Sunday was a frigging-frustrating, seizure-ridden day, with nothing getting done. Well, nothing getting finished, anyway.
On the plus side, she hasn’t been so kind to me for weeks. She didn’t kick off the first attack until 15:15 hours. Great!
But Sadra’s more than covered for her.    These are the ones where I can do nothing for a few minutes after I get back to reality. A Carer came when I was out of it and told me I was open-eyed and muttering things incoherently. She was really worried. Luckily, I was soon back to my semi-senses and explained to her about what it was. It was her first visit as well.
Ejaz did the first call. And I remembered that on Friday, no one had changed my catheter bag. Ejaz, not having his bike, was on the bus, and on a Sunday, they are a rare sight. He did not have time to do the catheter today. He told me to ask the next Carer to do it. Ajaz issued the medications. Got the diabetic socks fitted, then checked the taps, fridge, freezer and cooker were not left open or on.

Then, new to me, Carer Yasmin arrived, unsure of what needed to be done. I showed her the cooker, freezer, taps and taps that need checking every call. She also did not have time to change the catheter day pouch paraphernalia. She gave me two paracetamols and a gulp of Peptac that I had asked for. She also said to ask the next Carer to sort out the catheter contraption. I’ve already requested two without any luck. Third time lucky, I hope. I’ve not been in so much pain with the tubing for many weeks, possibly months. Still, I’m hoping the Carer due in approximately three hours might be able to do it.
Few photos today, dozens and dozens of mini-seizures. Although they seem to be getting less often as I type this – Huh! I shouldn’t have said that!

I may have to ask the next caller to also put the ankle strap on, as it is playing up for the first time in many months. And they will not like that. The instructions are tiny, and the procedure, if I recall correctly, is so complicated and confusing. Still, the flaring might go down before they arrive. If they are short of time as well, it’s best to get the catheter done. That is more painful for me at the moment. Saturday and Sunday, I forgot to ask them. Tsk! No, I didn’t; I did ask Ejaz, but he didn’t have time either on Saturday. Limited bus service again. When others arrived, I was in a seizure, Ann Gyna was bothering me, or I just forgot. Now it’s beginning to hurt; I can remember to better. When it came to it, it didn’t matter. I had lost the ankle straps again. Huh!

A few snaps were taken between seizures.

First kitchen shot.
Love them clouds!

Spring beginning to green the flora!

The gravel path up Woodthorpe Park.

A later shot from the balcony of the end car park.
We’ve not had much rain lately.
This is the first photo I’ve taken for at least six months without a mudslide showing on it!

What happened to April Showers?

The sun coming down.

Washed some socks

Welcoming home his servant Doug.
I swear we can read Andy’s thoughts through his expressions. He’s ‘getting on’ a bit now, not that he shows it, Bless him. Coping well with his medical treatments, as is servant Doug. Both heroes!

I’m feeling extra tired, earlier than usual today.
An early nosh was sorted out cause I want to watch highlights of the Forest v Man City game on the TV.

Bacon in cheesy-topped bread rolls is a simple meal to cook, but you wouldn’t think the time it took to cook the bacon was far less than what it took me to try to clean the oven dish. In fact, I gave up and threw the tray away in the end!
Oh, I nearly forgot to add the pictures...
I dipped them in a BBQ sauce dip.

Carer ‘Joe’ did the last call. I remembered the day the catheter bag was supposed to be changed, according to Friday’s weekly schedule. After three ‘haven’t got the time to do it, ask the following Carer responses.
Carer ‘Joe’ had not done one before, but between us, a good job was made of the task.

I’ve no desire to mention the Man City v Forest result. But it did reflect the difference and was a fair result.

WHICH IS CURRENTLY IN A TANGLE
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

TODAY
I’m interested in things celestial,
But today, it’s my right leg’s ankle…
And the developing furuncle,
Also, the left kneecap’s carbuncle,
With the boil on my bum, cataclysmical,
Puss drains out, problems cerebral.
>>>>>>

STARMER
It’s time that Starmer abdicated,
Mind you, his lies are articulated,
Labour principles are aborted,
His fibs can all be authenticated,
Pensioners: food cannot be afforded,
It’s time the Fuhrer was audited!
>>>>>>

GULLIBLE
I’m easily conned and dehorted,
Easily get discountenanced,
Being led, dissuaded & dehorted,
Plans cancelled, changed, deleted.
Bullied, dissuaded & deprecated,
Over this problem, I’ve deliberated,
Need liberation, am I denuded?
>>>>>>

ABDUCTION
May I suffer an alien abduction?
Off to a planet with no invitation,
Allowed in, without name verification,
Name? My bus pass my only validation,
I was given a prediction…
Straight out, with no obfuscation…
Everything perishes, utter devastation,
It’ll mean equality for every plebian!
>>>>>>

THE END
Is existence really empirical?
We see what we think is tangible,
Why are we not realistic & practical?
Different views on what is sensible…
Are leaders acting so reprehensible?
Rulers are all epithetical & egotistical,
Wars twixt the different endemical,
We live longer, life’s still ephemeral,
Hell is fire, Heaven is expiable?
Will Christ ever come to be exegetical?
Christian, Muslim, Jew or Evangelical?
Each believes a different Gospel,
Each written by a man it’s impossible,
Town people, Country people,
Tribes people are Earth people,
The date of the end is unavailable,
For most, it will be unbearable,
For all, it will be unpreventable,
St Peter will find us resentable!

I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A GREAT IDEA…
I got on with the cleaning that beat me yesterday. I started on the wet room again with a new, unexpected degree of determination.
I could do the ablutions first and clean up first, just in case I drop anything and make a mess. Logic floating about here… I thought!
Emptied the nocturnal catheter pouch, wrapped it and put it in the bin. It was a seven on the NHS scale; the carer judged it for me.
I settled to try and utilise the Porcelain Throne. But did not anticipate the length of time and agony to get the innards contents freed. I was another massive, bum-splitting gigantic torpedo that finally freed itself. Bled a bit, but I felt better after a day and a half of no movement from the bowels. As I was cleaning my rear end, I noticed bubbles coming up from where the torpedo had disappeared. I’d not used any toilet cleaner or bleach yet. I went to the junk room to get Kodak Tim 2, and they were still bubbling away when I got back with the camera and took this photo?

At this stage, I was beginning to lose my enthusiasm for cleaning up. I stripped and started washing the body and delicate areas. All went well.
Then, I got the shaving tackle out, dropped shaving foam, and tried to catch it. I lost my balance and crumpled onto the mop and bucket I’d abandoned there when I felt unwell and gave up.
The painful bit was not being able to get back up.
Serves me right! Humph!.
I had to crawl on my knees, trying not to upset Catheter’s Chloe & Carol or Arthur Itis and being careful not to damage the catheter.
Mission impossible!

I got my muscular, fit, healthy body back up on my feet. But that was the end of my plans to clean the wet room. I wasn’t up to it.

I did a bit on the blog, but Sandra was sending Mini-Seizure and I had to give that up. I momentarily considered going back to the cleaning..

I decided to sit down and recover in the second-hand, c1968, eyesorely-horrendously grungy, beige-coloured, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner. Within a minute, Sweet Morpheus accepted my plea, and I drifted into a marvellous sleep and dreamed of Grizelda. The intercom woke me, as the Carer wanted to be admitted. Humph! After Ahram had departed, I tried foolishy to get back to sleep. Really, I wanted to see Grizelda again. No-Go!

Massive Blanks.

I came around or woke up and realised I had not changed the calendar clock yet. Two days now.
So, I changed the clock.

The weather was not good. The cloud was so thick I didn’t see the sun setting at all. No street lights on. Power outage today? And here I was, high in the sky, looking at the darkness, with my lights on to tease those below! Haha!

Very late, I got the meal sorted.
Nordic Bacon and potato chunks.
I put two slices of Milk Roll bread around each chunk of bacon. A lemon curd yoghourt to round it of!
Nice!
The knees are leaking again. I’ll ask the first carer what he thinks about the wound in the morning.

I may be wandering along a beach,
Fancying some chips that are out of reach,
Then the brain turns to devising critique,
Against Starmer & his HMG claque.
::::::
In Scotland, the locals love a good claik,
But thought I was a Sassenach Glaik,
I adored their griddled-made potato-cake,
Their Beithir Fire beer? Hangover & headache!
::::::
To the City Hospital for an angiography,
I was nurse-handled most adorably,
One of them, I think her name was Audrey,
Seemed to take a liking to me!
Said we should meet later, for a bevvy!
I agreed excitedly & droolingly,
We snuggled on the bed, passionately
But she felt the catheter on my knee…
I never again met Audrey,
::::::
I got a job in a mine once, in Caerphilly,
On the first day, a bit of a catastrophe,
They issued gas masks, helmets, complimentary,
I worked conscientiously,
A collapse, & I crushed my knee,
Then I worked unconsciously… Hehehe!
I spent a week off sick,
But they patched me up quick,
Back to work, but life being aleatoric,
A car crash, ambulance, axonic,
I became the mine’s latest attrit!
::::::
I was born with nowt, & I’ve got most it left,
Through sheer determination & graft…
I may have been a penniless waif,
And not turning to crime or theft…
I worked long hours, was a spendthrift,
My plans for a fortune? I didn’t get a sniff!
::::::

Morning shots.

No garden fires.

Prepping nosh.

Nosh. Chick peas with sweet Soya sauce, beetroots, potato fishcakes, smoked mackerel pieces, pickled mushrooms, two well no-butter buttered cheese-topped rolls. And a mini-pot of lemon curd yoghourt. The mackerel had some bones in it. Which took the pleasure off of the taste a smidge.

It was a lousy day. There were no clarifications about the laundry, medications, financial help, or domestic help. Carer Joe said these services are not available for me.
This is going to be a nightmare!

On Sunday morning, I located the telephone number of the Social Lady, Sarah, I believe. So, on Monday, I can call her regarding the mounting pile of laundry, nearly two full bags, on Sunday morning. My newly acquired arthithmaphobia assistance with banking, etc., and no domestic services supplied. Even if they can provide me with this help, the cost will increase, and I may regret it. But I can’t cope without some help. The house and brain are in tatters, and the worrying over this has brought back Duodenal Donald into action. Just what I wanted with the seizures and Anne Gyna who continues in top pain-giving form. That’s another thing; the Codeine box said I could take up to four a day if needed. But the Carers say it’s only two, and rightly so, because it’s in his instructions, no blame attached, but with Anne Gyna giving me a lot of stick, and not taking one, made for an ever waking up night’s sleep, as Anne Gyna was stabbing away and waking me up… well, endlessly. If it’s the same in the morning, I may have to take one extra anyway.

Inchy Today: Friday 14th March 2025

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Today started pretty well: it soon began turning,
Depression: In three minutes & it was leaving,
Then a seizure, after which my head was reeling,
The carer called; I can’t recall all I was saying…
Was I talking? Was he listening?
I thought I’d mentioned the washing…
But I’m uncertain, that’s the thing,
Depression Duncan had really moved in,
I didn’t even do any ablutioning…
Or any physical medicationalisationing,
It took me 5 hours to do this simple Odeing!
:::::
Even as DDDD left, my brain was busy,
I wanted to think of my ode’s lexicology,
But my thoughts spinning-changingly,
Past events, wrongs, what about the laundry?
The carer can’t get through to the pharmacy,
Happy Horis is back, albeit belatedly,
I can concentrate again, you see?
But still more to do, washing & medically,
There’s just not the time available for me,
I’ll just empty the catheter of pee…
And a heavy-duty visit to the lavatory!
::::::
Then a seizure did manifest…
A short one, for two minutes at best,
Already feeling at my wretchedest,
If DDDD comes again, I’ll feel aghast,
I feel bad-done-to today, badassed,
I’m not a believer, but my crucifix clutched
DDDD stay away, I’m not a hypocondriast!
You made my mind vague & overcast,
Please don’t come piggybacked,
You’ll get my spirits & hopes ransacked,
If you do come, make it short & fast!
It’d be better for me it if you hadn’t trespassed,
Still, if you do, I’ll try to be steadfast…
I pray your previous visit will be your last!

HMG spent £45m on anti-spyware,
Stored it in a warehouse, it’s still there,
Waiting for them to find the highest bidder,
It’s a toss-up twixt China & Russia,
This gives the taxpayers acroparesthesia!
Humans need to find more absorbency,
To live life happily, honestly & guiltlessly,
Accept that it’s fraudulent… I mean HMG,
Accept wars, murders, are Earthly,
How to do this? Don’t ask me!
::::::
Life’s changed, it’s gone all skewwhiff,
With depression and war, some us live,
They called an oligarch now, not a toff
Murder, bribery, drugs and Smirnoff!,
If you need help, others just scoff,
The UK PM is a dishonest caitiff!
::::::
Life can be confusing, adumbral,
Some disbelieving, others agnostical,
Some study things all aetiological,
These mysteries are inextirpable,
Most claims are agathokakological.
::::::
From ‘The Statue of Liberty’
Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled
masses yearning to breathe free,
Commoners, proletariat & bourgeoisie,
Things grew more criminogenically,
Now we have borders & Trumpery,
::::::
Life can yet become more scarier,
People can get more sneerier,
Good deeds, help, will be scantier,
Undoubtably less sincere & trustier,
Hopefully, the ladies will get sultrier!
::::::
Waste time worrying, of things imminent,
Carers, nurses, else solitary confinement,
Seizures, dementia, falls, being impercipient,
Ending up with a self-immurement,
Seeking a mental & physical demulcent.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

No time to get anything done in the first 10 hours.
In the dawn, and it was well gone 15:00hrs before. DDDD and the Mini-S
eizures finally stopped.
The worst and longest-ever depression.
It’s now nearly 16:00hrs. And I’m going to get the ablutions and medications seen to now.
I spoke with the Caregiver about whether they are doing the domestic and laundry for me. It is not known yet. The Caregiver rang the chemist again for me but could not get through this time either. He said I was now deficient on Warfarin tablets. He returned later, after contacting the chemist, with a box of Warfarin. Thanks!

Computer problems again.
The seizures were all mini, I think, anyway.
I spent hours trying to get the photos on and gave up.
I deleted all the photos taken, and in the late evening, I tried again. The computer was slow, but in the morning I could save some! Not a lot, though.

I could see things (Seeing things in clouds, Pareidoliaing).
The nature of the clouds varied in this scene.

A Cornish pastie, beetroots and French fries.
And a lemon fool dessert.
Followed by some Cheezy nibbles, and a can of shandy. I can now drink from cans again. After giving up, due to the lack of teeth, more water was going on me and the surrounding area than got down the throat. The miracle solution, you ask? The dentist didn’t want to remove all my teeth and make me dentures, so I used a straw!

Can’t see how I’d not thought of this before. Haha!

Sorry, I don’t have much on, but I did a bonus ode.

I managed to get this after-sunset photo to go on in the morning. It’s quite a different aspect in this one.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Today’s problems were eclectic,
DDDD made things so tenebrific,
Help from a carer, that was terrific👍🏻!
Seizures & DDDD were both horrific!
One call from , vitriolic,
DDDD makes me feel ‘Depressionaholic!’
I’ve never been less enthusiastic…
My thoughts confused, ever-changing, zebraic,
Carer ‘Joe’ helped me with matters urologic👍🏻,
one visit; can you beleive it!
When DDDD returned, it was dolorific.

Oh, and neurotransmitter shocks of electric!
One seizure left me soporific, almost hypnotic,
I told Matron Jackie I hope she looks into it,
I’d like them to give me a full mental audit…
With DDDD, life gets less etheric,

It concentrates on feeling depressic!
I must stop doing odes docudramatic!

Inchy Today: Thursday 13th March 2025

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – TO THE WORLD – –
Affluence, finance, profit, I find anticlimactic,
Do I need help? Possibly neuropsychiatric?
The end of the world, although slightly dramatic,
Will it be wars or maybe something pathogenic?
It’s easy for us now to retrodict,
Did the end start with the launch of Sputnik?
Then the Cold War, the Berlin lift,
Leaders became warmongers, without a shamanic,
Of course, I write with the pen of a pedantic,
The need for alcohol and drugs to be romantic,
Humankind is to blame, clearly; it’s apodictic,
I can’t really say that this is pathetic…
Living life for pleasure, the pace is frenetic…
Citizens live or die, it’s all aleatoric,
Children crushed hiding in an attic…
No food, medications for the dying asthmatic,
Young, old, Anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic,
Terrorist Governments, Anders Breivik,
Warmongers reign, ruling more absolutistic,
Putin and Starmer are over bureaucratic…
Their compassion is theoretical, hypothetical,
Repeatedly, innocents slain, it’s almost archaic,
Families, babies, running, hiding, antidromic…
In fear, mayhap, of something atomic?
We don’t look the same; we’re not concentric…
Humans, surely we’re kindred, congeneric?
Oligarchs, weapon suppliers formed a clique,
I can see a link to things dinosauric…
The state of the world is almost phantasmagoric,
They don’t see the dangers; they’re altruistic,
We voted them into power, is it time to quetch?
Politicians self-empowering remain recidivistic,
If we all worked for peace, it would be soporific,
If this dream could come true, it’d be terrific!
We’ve no chance of ridding ourselves of the sadistic,
That makes me feel even more pessimistic…
I’ll have to stop here; I’ve got problems urologic!

A seven onb the NHS Richter-Scale card. Hehe!

I went into the kitchen to make a brew and had to try again to take a decent moon shot. With such a dark sky, my hopes were high. Not really!
Ah, well!

Handwashed the thin dressing down.

Off to the wet room.
I started with the usual seated part of the session.

The saving brought only one cut worth mentioning.
The medicationing went fine! Really! Honest!
However, when getting the fresh PPs on;
,
I took a selfie a few minutes later with Kodak Tim 2.

From the computer, many things go wrong after the Windows update was installed. I wasted hours & hours!

The Carer arrived, Akmad or Joe, Akmad I think.

A late afternoon shot with Kodak Tim 2,
Can anyone see the creature’s face in these clouds that I can? The late Carer found it straight away. But not the other one. Nor did the nurse… I think that she thought I was pulling her leg. Until I pointed out the facial features.

I prepped the meal for later cooking.
It’s a bit of a mixture. I hope it will taste better than last night’s terrible, inedible effort. I sliced some water chestnuts with a can of beef stew with a microwave chilli con carne. I left it in the microwave cooking box in the fridge.

Then, I crossed my fingers and went on WP to start this blog. Will it let me put the early photos on, but several I took before the food snap would go on as some other file?

I have no idea what will happen. The preview is correct, but it’s all a frustrating mystery to me.

Calm looking evening.

I have no answer…
But does that send me aquiver?
The question is now in the ether,
Failure does not make me angrier…
Although a tad more angstier,
Is it time to meet with an auger?
A psychiatrist or a neuro-analyst,
To study my mental architecture?
Could they identify my brain’s gender?
I have no answer…
I’ve learned to live amidst loneliness & failure,
Cope with confusion, with many a faulter,
If summat goes right, there’s always a forfeiture,
My cerebrums communications get froideur,
As depression leaves, I go sort of fribbler,
In depression, I am a self-faultfinder,
Coming out of depression, I’m a flaneur,
High-Mood-Horis returns, & I’m a farceur!
Either of two extremes, never in the middle…
Insanely merry, or misanthropical,
Self-loathing then self-pitying, ever manifestable,
In any mode, they are potentially mephitical,
In a depression, I’m unmollifiable,
Happy-Mode-Horis, I often feel mercurial,
Occasionally, carefree, almost mirifical!
I accept that I must be malnormal,
I hope this is mentioned in my memorial,
I’ll begone soon, do not be mournful,
Funeral? I’d like both attendees to be mirthfull,
Oh, can you bury me wearing my monocle?
If I’ve no money left, shove me down a sewer hole,

Happy-Mode-Horis is back, so I’ll add some more.
Another thing I need is an ameliorator,
Maybe help (stuttering) from an annunciator,
I don’t need an abuser, accuser, or advertiser,
Perhaps someone who can make me wiser?
Daily, I need my Finasteride & Beta-blocker,
Betamethasone cream & Nystop powder,
Glyceryl Trinitrate & Atorvastatin,
Ramipril, Furosemide, & Warfarin,
Olive-oiled the ears and testicles with Germolene
Acne & Eczema with Barrier cream,
Peptac, & thrice daily my Codeine,,
Nose spray, Eye drops, sulphate of quinine,
Germoloid eased the pain and sting,
And several more when I’m ablutioning!
Sorry, this waffle may need comprehending,
Then the kettle on for tea brewing,
It’s Glengettie, not Darjeeling…
My usual mixture/dollop of dithering,
Friday’s nearly done, I’m mentally withering,
Doing this ode, struggling with typing,
Gladys’s Glaucoma made it hard for seeing,
With one o’clock in the morning nearing,
I’ve not yet made time for any eating…
So busy with the new carers meeting,
Seizures and Anne Gyna competing…
To be the top ailment ailing,
Hope it doesn’t read as highfalutin!
Part tongue-in-cheek, are you approving?
Why the neurosurgeon is operating!
To check my complex enzyme, thromboplastin,
Happy-High-Horis is still with me; Amazing!
Despite my being weary & tiring…
I’ll have a bag of crisps. I must eat something!

MY FIRST CAR
Mine was Christened as Wilhomena.
(Mine was a ‘W’ Reg [1980]).
It took me a while to stop looking for my crash helmet, boots and gloves each time I went out. After years of motorbike running. I met a gorgeous, hairy, muscled, big gal and hoped to impress her with a close to proper car. But it wasn’t big enough for any hanky-panky, and my efforts were rejected. I kept Wilhomena for several years.
Then, the gorgeous, hairy, muscled, big gal (Grizelda) returned to Nottingham. That was it; I had to get a four-wheeled vehicle that would permit room for a bit of necking, groping and copulation. But I did not have any spare cash. So, I hunted around to see if any showroom would do a straight swap with me for any four-wheeled car for Wilhomena.

SKODA ESTELLE
Meet Gladys. The only car I could get. But, four-door, and the front seats went all the way back to accommodate room for a bit of nookie. It was well used over the next three years. As for anything mechanical, I wasn’t too interested.
Back to the showroom: The petrol tank contained only fumes, so I had to get to a filling station as soon as possible. Driving along the ring road, I realised… I did not have a licence to drive this car! I’d been driving Wilhomena on my motorbike licence.
I swiftly booked a driving test. Grizelda was not weakening or responding to my begging and pleading for a closer relationship. It was months before I got to take the test, but it seemed like years.
Finally, I took and passed the test and rang Grizelda. She told me to pick her up at 19:00hrs! Which I gladly did!
Our first entwining was in the Skoda, and then we went back to my flat for the best nine hours of unmitigated, unbroken, pleasing, rough pleasure ever! Ah, memories!
Just thought I’d mention it.
Grizelda moved in with me the next day. 3 weeks of joy, satisfaction, amorousness, concupiscence, passion, lust, horniness, ardour & lustfullness!
I’ve upset myself now, writing this. Bringing back memories of Grizelda and bliss. Humph!

Regrets again today.
Nowt much on at all.
Sorry.
I’ve just been too busy again.

Still, the new Carers take over next Wednesday.

Matron Jackie has not called but still might do.

The Seizures? Up to now (16:40hrs), I’ve had fewer than for ages. After this time, the Mini-seizures played catch-up and many sessions of their favourite game, ‘Let’s confuse Inchy again’.

What I can recall of the day. (Again, no notes) Oh, yes, there are four lines on the notepad. Hehe! Tsk!

I woke around 03:00hrs, thought about getting up, and drifted off again. When I reawakened, assuming I’d been asleep for a few minutes, it was 07:00hrs!

I had to rush to finish things to avoid missing Matron Jackie in case she called. (She didn’t!) I removed the nocturnal pouch from the catheter, sorted the bin bags, and handwashed a towel and nightie. And I went to get the ablutions (shower-shave-teeth- etc) and medications tackled. Teeth, then a shave (4 tint-weeny nicks), nasal spray, then cleaned the rear end and genitals. Then, into the shower, a sit down job, as Cartilage Chloe gave way as I entered the shower. I enjoyed it but didn’t want to miss Matron if she called, so it limited my time sitting in he shower; such bliss!
I felt like a rhino at a water hole.

The catheter bag was dried using paper towels. Then, the usual procedures were performed: the fungal lesion on Little Inchie and the ankle, acne and eczema, and eye drops. I olive oiled the ears, etc.

This is the end of the notepad details. I hope I can recall things in chronological order. Many more must have happened, but mini-seizures, being so busy, having more than one person talking, and subject-changing limit the details in my memory. Confusion installed.

Tree Copse.

I can’t even remember taking these two.
Let alone when. PM, I assume.

Natoora tomatoes and Chinese-flavoured belly pork.
Cheesy cobs, into which I squashed the belly pork with hoisin sauce, and they tasted grand!

I certainly remember this meal. Unfortunately, I recall the sauce and bits of pork fat dribbling down onto the dressing gown and having to change it. Worse, washing up after the feast was messy: the oven was dirty, the oven tray was resuscitated, hehe!, and spillages were on the kitchen floor cleaning that near crippled me!
Still, it was the best-tasting nosh of the week!

Early evening view.

I forgot to ask for contact details when the new carer bosses arrived. They will be starting next Wednesday.
