BACK TO NEAR NORMAL
Which is not necessarily a good thing. In fact, the loss of the Flu Vaccine’s unique side-effect of removing my guilt and self-hatred, thus giving me an air of “Sod-it!” to all my physical and mental problems, granted me the best, most peaceful 22hrs of the year to date!
The pestering-browbeating, doubts, fretting, frustrations, apprehensive, distracted, distraught, nervous, on edge, stressed, self-despising, muddled brain, constant forebodings and depression have all returned! Sadly! Tsk!

Today was not a good one… but no disasters as such.
Not a single visit to the .

Managed a new record, I think…

Ah, a betterer colour this morning!

Another not-so-good photo of the morning view.

I had not seen her for ages; nice gal.

I got on with blogging for a few hours. All the regular anticipated mistakes and errors were committed. More than usual, really, with…
So often.

arrived for the PM call. She did a kitchen and bathroom check on the taps & stove and took the waste bag to the chute for me.

I took two piccies of the afternoon clouds later.
One to the left…
‘Tother to the right!

No seepage from .

Then, when I took my four hours with the leg up on the chair, I turned on the TV to see if anything worth watching was being broadcast… that’s when I drifted off. Five hours later, I woke up with a nervous twitch and tic.
I lay there all distorted on the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner…
I recall knocking the remote control thingy off the recliner’s arm, thinking about retrieving it, and…
Zzz! Another three hours of heavenly, if broken by mini-wake-ups, sleep was enjoyed.

I think it was who called to wake me.

I was not exactly with it, but I got the potatoes from the slow cooker and mashed them with some not-butter butter, sea salt and a dash of Pryprawa seasoning. I put them in the oven to keep warm and added some no-meat sausages in a saucepan with more Pryprawa seasoning. Tomatoes, pickled beetroot, and some chunky pickles as well.

Took this shot while waiting for the cooking of the meal.

caused the hand to wobble, so I had more salt than planned. Hehe!
A taste rating of 8.2/10 was given.

I stayed awake long enough to get the pots cleaned, do a safety check, and then back into the recliner.

Now I plan to sleep. Which initially went well, straight off into dreamland almost instantly. With the absence of last night, it annoyed me when he kicked off non-stop all night.
I got fed up with waking up!

TTFNski, Mon Ami!

02:40hrs: I wriggled about in the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner; assessing the various ailments pain levels. Much to my surprise, was easy going with me! Wonders will never cease. Mind you, she did kick off later when I dropped the walking stick and unthinkingly bent down to retrieve it. Tsk!
, were the worst. With a little occasional stinging back-up coming from . The pain behind the eyes is now coming from lower down, near the left ear? But not anywhere near as bad (He says with crossed fingers)
I wonder where the happing of crossing fingers for good luck came from? I’ll Google it now! I know now:
Why is crossing your fingers a symbol of good luck? Crossing fingers dates to a pre-Christianity belief in Western Europe in the powerful symbolism of a cross. The intersection was thought to mark a concentration of good spirits and served to anchor a wish until it could come true.

I tackled the nocturnal pouch removing it.
A much better colour today!

I was summoned to the wet room to use the Throne. The indications acting as a warning that came from the rumblings from the innards, that this was going to be a controlled evacuation… it was!

The mess made was the worst this year! 1½ toilet rolls were used on this visit! Had to change the PPs, and spent ages cleaning up the splattered, watery, phooing product. The stomach was rumbling away for ages, after the evacuation!
I feel a little delicate after this one.

Added the sorted bag of waste to the one that I forgot to ask the Carer to take with him, in the hallway. As I was hobbling into the kitchenette to put the kettle on for an early morning mug of Glengettie… The bowels send another dollop of liquid to the back passage…

I failed to get to the in time! It took me over three times as long to clean myself, the wet room floor and furniture up this time! And two more rolls of toilet paper were used in the process! Where’s when you need him!

I walloped down two Galpharm capsules when I eventually made the mug of tea… well, it was Thompson’s Punjana. And I took one last night as well. Humph!
Darned good job I got up so early, with the nurses due to call on me today. One to rebandage. And the DVT to take the deep vein blood from a venous vein. At least I think it was from a venous vein; it may be from a tibial and poplitaeal vein. Looked it up on the paperwork, Venous!

My  Goodness! I’ve been up for hours… admittedly spending the bigger part sorting out rather vicious attacks from . I was surprised to see the view from the kitchen was still dark.
I eventually got the brew of tea made again.

Later, Carer Marie arrived. No eye drops are needed now; the course is finished. All gone. I’m doing the eye cleaning myself.
Medications issued. Thank heavens she noticed that I’d dropped two tablets when taking them. One went in the dressing gown the other on the floor. She rescued them for me. We managed a little natter too. As the gal was leaving, the door chime rang out… It was the Asda order I’d forgotten was coming. I know, it’s hardly believable that I could forget anything, innit? Hahaha!

Treats and essentials!
The fridge & freezer were full again!

Worked away on the blogging for a good few hours. Mostly making mistakes and errors, mind you. Mainly because of the
I lost yonks again trying to get the signal back. Also lost time and work done when it kept coming back and off again within minutes each time! After an hour or more,
it seemed to be working again?

Carer Kara did the midday call. She asked about how the audio clinic visit went. A short visit, but I liked it.

Well into the afternoon, about 16:30hrs, The District Nurse arrived to remove and put on a new dressing on .
.
A nice Nurse not seen before. She had a look in the spare room to see if there was room for a bed to go in.

Listened to my amusing stories of the ailments. Lovely gal. Someone is calling on Friday to redo the dressing.
Be nice it was her again. But I love them all! Hehe!

Carer Benjamin came for the heavy-medication evening visit.
I also managed to drop a tablet then as well! Painkillers and Peptac were issued with the regulars.

On his mobile a lot so not much talking done. Slipped a Rum bar and drinkie, as I did for all of my visitors today.
I took this through the balcony window.
Moments later the rain stopped, and the sun reappeared, although was not there for long.

I selected some tomatoes.
Got the pots sliced and in the oven.

The view had changed dramatically.
As the Sun rapidly disappeared.

Got the meal in the microwave.

Carer Joanne brought up my washing; bless her.

Pots into the dish & added the meal & tomatoes.
Desserts on the tray.
Flavour Rating: 8.8/10. Nice!

The period spent in the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner; searching for sleep was a success… But only for a few minutes at a time.
made sure of that!

Humph!

AUDIO CLINIC TECHNICIAN VISITEDIt is nice to escape the confines of the apartment.

The night Catheter Pouch was far too dark!
Fancy that? Inchy having lousy luck!

Before leaving to get the lift to the clinic, I suffered three of these types of visits. Hey-Ho!.
Then, the problematic stand-up ablutioning session!
Couldn’t put the papule leaking let in water to wash it; it was a solo job with the left foot.
The shaving seemed to go pretty well.
Getting dressed was farcical.

Put some spuds in the crock pot.
I try to remember to turn on the low setting as I leave later… I then proceeded… to do the waste bags and the one I was putting the others into split open! Huh! A right mess to clean up and , and all joined in with the right toe nail and spoilt the day!

Carer Richard was not his usual self. Tired out, I’ll be bound.

I did get the Sunday blog finished & posted off. Because I stayed up so late working on it. Many mistakes!

A final call to the Porcelain Throne.

Then, off downstairs to await my lift.

Had a go at the crossword in the lobby. But it was hard work with these terrible new glasses.

Kept looking outside in case the minibus arrived.
.
Not here yet, so I took this snap of the local weeds.
Yet they look beautiful to me!

A selection of nub-ends caught my attention
in the end car parking area.

The minibus arrived, and I got belted up and grabbed from my pocket. Taking snaps through the window en route to town and the Audio Clinic.

Up The hill to Mapperley.

Mapperley Road.

New student accommodation is being built.

Town and Parliament Street.
.
Multi-screened cinema on the left.

Up Derby Road and down onto…

The Ropewalk from the top end. Many years ago, there were all posh houses with servants and butlers. Lawyers, private detectives, and many shops and offices have been converted into student apartments.

THE CLINIC
The driver dropped me off in front of the building.
I hobbled limpingly and painfully into the big hall.
The receptionist recognised me and indicated by pointing for me to sit down. So, I did! After a while, I got the crossword book out. A chap behind me mentioned, some 15 minutes or so later: “I talk to myself when doing crosswords, as well!” Haha! I didn’t realise I was nattering away, but the lady to my right said: “I understand!” Hehehe!

THE RIDE HOME: I was called in to see the Technician. Who at first was patient with me stuttering and forgetting things. She got the hearing aids off me and gave them some routine maintenance. She looked in my earholes, declaring she had never seen so much compacted wax before, as she checked the left lughole. She’ll make an appointment to have the wax eased and removed where safe, then another meeting for an Audiologist to test my hearing. She thinks they will not be on the same day, though. She was laughing when she was talking to the receptionists, and they both looked at me as I returned to the waiting area with the refurbished aids in situ. I could hear a muffled noise of talking.

Excellent job the lady technician did on the hearing aids! Not good on the phone, though.

I did sneak a photo of the waiting area. But it was not on the SD card when I got home. Snagknangles!

As I walked out of the clinic, the man was arriving at the optimum time. Getting settled in the seat, out came my beloved , for more window shots on the way back.

Up along the Ropewalk.

Down towards the City.

Right onto Woodborough Road.

As we stopped near a bus stop, next to the recently built student flat complex.
Tsk!
Bottom of the hill…
To the top and down towards the flats.
This shot of the flats came out decently.
I paid the man, gave him a choice of nibbles, and got myself inside the Woodthorpe Court lobby.
I walked through the link passage to Winwood Court and informed Warden Deana and Julie of my arrival home.

On my way back, I took a few photos of the shrubbery at the back, through the windows. Can you see the buried sitting bench on the right, below?

It took a wider shot showing both benches.

I may try to have a kip out there?

Thought to the lift, and in and up…
I took this sad selfie!

I could feel , the pain from the nearly full Catheter, and blood trickling down my inner legs from poor .

Got in and rang Meridian to advise them I had returned. But still had the hearing aids in… I could hear nothing, I didn’t even know if anyone had answered my call? I gave up.

Had a look at the leg.

Looks like some blood has gotten mixed with the water?
Still, the nurse is coming in the morning.

I got on with this blog update start.

came, I didn’t realise how late it was.
By the time he’s gone, I had suddenly sunk in a weariness.

I got the spuds out of the slow cooker, halved some and got them in the oven. Turned off the computer. So tired!

Got the nosh made earlier than usual, partly due to me feeling so drained after my little trip out to the clinic.
I dined well! A vegetable hotpot (ready-made) with the extra boiled and baked potatoes added. Nice!
Taste-Rating: 8.5/10.

Arrived for the last visit of the evening.
Eye drops medications, and I took his BP. And it came out just fine! SYS 123, DIA 70, Pulse 77, Temp 36.6°f Fit lad!
He took a snap of . The nurse in the morning. It’d been leaking again, of course, and occasionally stinging like mad. The Community Nurse may have to stick more of the padding back on.

I fell asleep the moment that departed.

But it only hasted for about 4 hours; I woke, rose, and took off the pouch automatically, thinking it must be gone by 07:00hrs at least… I was wrong, it was 02:45hrs. Tsk!

Farewell, friends, and have a festively fun future!

I’m sick to death (Not the best choice of words there…) of the constant pains and hassle of , needing the leg sticking up regularly to ease the fluid flow, but giving more pain when I do so! is giving it to me in varying degrees all the time today (Up to now). Amazingly, today, an old-timer of an ailment, the much gladly missed has tactlessly joined in with them! I’ve not had a visit from him for months. I thought he might have self-destructed, committed Hara-Kiri, or self-sacrificed through the guilt of all the agony over so many years he’s given me? But no! He’s likely been charging up his pain powers, sharpening his stabbing blades? But he’s back now! At the optimum time, to cause me the most damage as well. Just as I approach the three days of medical procedures. The challenge of getting dressed, washed and shaved without being able to use the shower. Tackling the scary bus rides to Sherwood and back on Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ve not got a good record on the buses this year. I’ve fallen getting onto them and getting off of them. Tripped over the broken concrete on the footpath in Sherwood… And now, with the ingrowing toenails, Then, there’s Cathy’s Catheter, Cartilage Katey, and now Duodenal Donald to contend with! Hopefully, Dizzy Dennis and Peripheral Pete’s Right Leg Dances will be kinder to me? Mmm?
What am I saying? No chance!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Not much time to get nowt done today, and for the next three days there will be even less with all the appointments… Still, there might be good news on Tuesday after the District Nurse has been to look at the leg and catheter? What am I saying? No chance!

Not much time for notes or photos, sorry.

Slivers of something in the morning urine?

Morning views.

Raining, mudslide started, from the balcony.

The rain persisted for a while.

I had a lovely meal and took a photo of it.
Then a photo of the leaking leg.
Then the bleeding from shaving.
Then a midnight shot of a dark-dank night.
But this morning when it came to adding these to the blog...
The Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, vicious ailments hassling me, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? The photos were not on the SD card?

Medical appointments for next Monday to Wednesday came in via text and email throughout the day. I don’t know how I’ll manage to get about with the ingrowing toenails, and I will need some help getting dressed for the first time ever – that’s really humiliating, hagriding and ignominiously cringeworthy!

was stinging away all night. I think I spent more time waking up than asleep.

Inchy: Thursday 28th October 2023 – Honest Inchy Ode… Well…

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I hadn’t expected to live to see the world’s ending,
It’s coming, but I may or may not, depending…
The kakotopia will be totally consuming,
Be here by the year’s end, I’m assuming.
Will it be through Global Warming?
Will it be quick, without any warning?
Can we achieve earth rehydrating?
I think not with agitators Xi and Putin!
Constantly threatening & warmongering!
They & others are ignoring, boycotting…
When Save Earth mention Global Warming!
The Oligarchs carry on bootlegging…
As do financial institutions like banking…
In the name of power, financial gluttony!
Their names won’t go down in infamy…
How will it end, earth’s unwritten contract?
Robots Take Over? Asteroid impact?
Divine intervention, in retribution?.
Failed climate control to make a contribution?
World-Wide Anarchy… Rebirth of Tutankhamun?
Global implosion, or an Alien Invasion…
Nanotechnology disaster, worldwide libation?
The collapse of the Vacuum? Forced lactation?
Mass suicide? Even times laevorotation?
Profligacy? Lack of diplomacy?
It’ll end the battle for supremacy!
It will end all tellurians mercilessly…
It may take months, or fall abruptly,
Certain to share between us, agony!
Looking on the bright side, forgive me…
No more struggles to get a babysitter!
Equalising you and the globetrotter,

Being late for work won’t matter…
No frets emptying your catheter,
No dodgy release valve to make a splatter.
Peeing in your shoe, Haha!
No guilt for eating butter…
You can have a little mutter…
Well, you’ll not even stutter…
You can laugh at your cybersquatter!
No need to clean or declutter!
No blood from the piles in your hindquarters!
You can throw away your Warfarin & inhaler!
I hope this ode makes you feel jauntier?
That you feel less depressed and segregated…
Don’t feel guilty for the times you shoplifted!
We’re all level when we’ve been terminated,
If we miraculously come back… belated.
Next time, I’d like to be better testiculated!

Today, many a calamity-cluster!
Abated by precious Carer Kara,
A tumble, the nurse followed after,
Things got worse, thereafter…
Dropped a bowl of dishwater…
Lymphorrhoea Leslie’s water…
Ingrowing nail pains started!
Knee & back pains agitated,
But I was unintimidated…
Sorry about that… I lied!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Due to , I’d stored photos on the wrong day in the file. So some may be from earlier, as I got myself in a muddle trying to sort them. Sorry again. if so!

06:14hrs: was leaking rather painfully as I stirred back into my mock-imitation, forlorn pitiful life. She was stinging much more this morning as well.
As I removed the night bag from the catheter, other ailments joined in. With what seemed a concerted effort. A  lets attack Inchy with as much pain as we can today. They were successful! , , and a rare visit from . The pain behind the left eye kicked off…
EQ kept telling me, “I warned You!” I knew things were not going to go well at all today – and boy was I right!
Had I known what was going to happen, I’d have hibernated there in the £300 second-hand shop purchased, c1966, welt-causing, uncomfortable, not-working, welt-creating, itch-making crumb-containing recliner.

I got to the wet room and utilised the first job. Aha, had not lost control completely, but I’d say was fighting back! The shaving went bloodlessly. !
The showering did not! The patch I’d put on was loosening its grip a bit. , and flowing freely was . giving me gip each time I had to bend or stretch. But the Germolene and Germoloids I’d managed to buy, did a fine job in stopping the bleeding for me.
Emptying the bowl that I’d washed my feet in while shaving, I got a little, but enough, of the shakes and twitches from , to ensure that I dropped the bowl of dirt water. Innit amazing how far water can spread? Come think of it, she had support from my to inform the befuddled brain of my physical needs.
The urine was a good-looking colour today. It kept changing several times later on from this practically near perfect to a deep orangey-red?
Little was jealous of the other ailments’ success I think, and the pangs and pains started coming from him, and are still with me tomorrow.
I thought today was bad… but having already lived tomorrow, they are not so bad!
I made another Heath Robinson affair and put it on Not the foggiest idea what I might have done wrong, but boy did the pain increase! Yes, it did!
seemed the ‘Ailment in Command’ at this stage. Even worse than the , this was a first!

arrived. Medications sorted, and the eye drops. I did ask the lad if he could put some of the Phorpain gel on , but somehow we both forgot about it. No blame attached, other than to me. I’m the one in pain, and I forgot to remind him. We’ll settle I think for blaming

Arrived, for financial & advising. Well, she was overwhelmed I think, all the problems I needed help with.
â‘  Covid-jab appointment making.
â‘¡ Flu-Jab appointment making.
â‘¢ She called the district nurse to get some advice for me on the bleeding. Told me they will report this to the nurses.
â‘£ She tried to arrange a lift for the Audio Clinic appointment that she had made for me, but it doesn’t look too good – no free spots. The chap told Kara, that if any do come free, I’ll be first on the list to get a lift. He would ring back to let me know if that happens.
⑤ Kara did the eye drops and medicationing.
â‘¥ Checked on the Catheter bag for me.
⑦ When I went to find the Olive Oil applicator for the ears.  She even found time to come and pick me up after I took a Dizzy-Tumble. Bless her!
⑧ There was something else she did, but I can’t recall it now.

I thanked her again, and off she had to go, always sad!

I’d be Lost Without Her Weekly Call to Help me!

I went out onto the balcony for a look around, hoping maybe to find some trees or clouds that I might do some with.
But the clouds were very minimal and high and with my eyesight, they were not seeable enough really. But the close-up stuff was. Taking a shot of the end car park, I saw that the mudslide was receding at a good rate. No rain last night?
I opened the door and took a close-up of the car park area.
The mudslide had a sort of glow to it? After I on the raised ledge when getting back inside. I smiled, passed wind, and laughed it laughing it off, of course...

Potatoes on the boil. Then I searched for my new bottle of olive oil… Couldn’t find it, despite finding it hours later smack in the middle of the Carer’s table. Tsk!
Tea GlengettieMade the second permitted mug of tea.
Glengettie of course.
I used the Jersey Full Milk this time. Lovely! But naughty, Sister Jane says!
The Carer arrived, and UI left the mug of tea to go cold, forgetting all about it.
The mug was well stained when I discovered it. Testimony to the flavour of the brew!
The Community Nurse arrived, to look at the state of .
She took a photograph of the lesion where the fluid was seeping from. Then set about drying it and wrapping the leg from just below the knee, down and around the foot!
It felt better afterwards, but of course, I was being distracted by the presence of a young lady, manhandling me. Hahaha!
She told me I must keep the leg raised at all times when not moving about. I had to insist she chose a dinkie and or nibbles from the display.
She obliged me, bless her; after I’d told her if she didn’t pick one, I’d be sulking all day.
Which brought forth the first laugh of the day.
Hehehe!. She said someone would come out on Monday to change the bandages and check on things. Amazingly I remembered Carer Kara telling me she made the appointments for the Audio Clinic and Covid jabs for Monday & Wednesday, as she thought I might be tired after the trek to the clinic and it would give me a day to recover. Now that was kind! ♥ I mentioned this to the nurse, who said they would come on Tuesday instead.

Three hours or about, later, I checked on the leg when the Carer came.
He took this photo.
Looks like the fluid and a smidgeon of blood had started to flow.

Then it dawned on me – I would not be able to take a shower! It’ll have to be doing the washing stood at the sink. Which, will mean difficulties in getting access to certain areas that the shower spray usually takes care of. And on Tuesday, if they rebandage it again, an even longer period without a shower? Will I begin to reek? Haha! There is not a lot of escapage at the moment, so the chances are that they may leave it to get some air… or not. Mind you come think of it, it’ll be five days before they call… Ah, well!

The blogging will have to be cut short: if done at all. It seems essential that I get my leg up! There is no answer to that! Har-Har!
I’ll try to get a cartoon made, and an ode daily. If time or I’m up to it. Sorry folks. Evening photo of the oddly light night.

There are also three medical appointments to sort out and fit in next week? I’m not feeling too good about the coming week. EQ agrees with me.

Great meal, though.
The Flavour-Rating given was a deserved 8.5/10.
Would have been higher if I had not undercooked the potatoes. Tsk!

Fingers Crossed – I can’t cross the legs or fingers voluntarily anyway.
The worst of the ailments at present is the pain coming from the s Papules; a close second is the toe nail, which for some reason dosen’t like putting my legs up.

This day was, well… Mayhem! Again!
Had to really cut back on blogging. As the nurse said I’ve to keep my leg raised! I’ll tell yer in a bit…

First thing on waking. Well, after passing wind, and sensing that both ingrowing toenails, on the left foot, and on the right, were painful, I bent down to remove the night pouch from the clutches of , and gave me head a wobble… not the usual one; this was an instant version, without the usual warning signs. This told me today, he was going to enjoy himself at my expense. (He did later, too!)
I was so amazed when I saw that the nocturnal pouch was completely empty. Yet the day pouch valve was in the open position? What happened there, I don’t know! So, I picked up and shook the pouch and tubing, and within a few moments, the urine flowed gushingly from the day to the night bag?
All seemed to be working again. lingered a little. Had this just actually happened?

I rose from the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966, ache-making, moth-eaten, bedraggled, cringingly-beige-coloured, grotty, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner, and limped into the kitchen. Limping due to a combination of ailments this time. which was stinging something horrible, and challenging me to scratch at it. But I resisted. . , , the toes as mentioned, and assisted me to knock my torso against the door frame going into the kitchen. So, joined in the assault!
To make me feel even worse, the three photos I took of the morning view were all crappy!

Oh, double-dear!
Oh, treble-dear!

Off to the wet room…To get the ablutions tended to… Starting with a sudden urgent need to utilise the Porcelain Throne.
Got my feet in a bowl of soapy water with baking powder added. To soak-clean the feet while having a shave
The almost expected teeny-weeny cut, not in the neck-hole this time, but behind the earhole. The only places left that grow hair on my head. A swift sprinkle of the Brut aftershave
put an end to the leaking haemoglobin.
Then, after emptying and washing the bowl, I got into the shower. Closed the curtain, moved the chair into position, lowered the shower head to a reachable position, then…
opened the shower curtain, moved the chair, exited and out into the hallway, to turn the shower power on in the hallway. Humph! Back in, closed the curtain, and moved the chair back into position. Then I the on the chair leg. Swore, cursed a little more, and; and then I noticed the blood blood that was trickling down my leg from poor old. The pad on the geyser papule was almost dropping off, and a smidgeon of blood was making its way down the right leg as well.
I’d already decided that things were not going well, and would probably get worse, without any input for EQ either..
Got the shower finished without any other painful incidents.
The pad on the right leg , had stayed in position all through the process.

That’s the end of any detailed stuff. Rushing now…

Rubbish done.

Found that I’d left the potatoes in the crock pot for 20hrs! Tsk!

Mug of tea, Glengettie of course.

I Heath Robinsoned a new papule covering.

Good colour in the pouch.

The homemade dressing is still on.
engaged!

Did I put the food delivered on or not?
Nice!
Fridge choker-bloc!
Freezer, too!

Late rain.
We need it, not as bad as some areas do, though.

Just as well they were out of some foods!

Strawberry treats for the helpers.
Bananas, and my favourite three varieties of biscuits.
Maryland Cookies (UK), Lemon Puffs (Poland) & LU Petit Beurre. (France)… if only I was allowed more mugs of tea, I could eat them faster and more of them! Hehe!

Super Nosh! 9.2/10!
I made short work of this one!

Well, well, well, another farcical rising from the aged, grotty-looking c1966-made, charity-shop-bought, horribly beige-coloured, £300, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, non-operational, acne-giving, virus-breeding, rickety, easy-to-fall-out-of recliner, with its new air-cushion. Supplied by my treasured Sarah, of the Rehabilitation Falls Team.
My right ankle was pouring water out all over the cover, my legs, the chair the legs were upon, and some reached the carpet! , Tsk!
Luckily I had a dry pad nearby, left from putting on last night’s plaster. I used that to stem the flow. Before cleaning up, the night pouch had to be removed. So I did!
In the few seconds, it took me to release the bag… The new plaster fell off! Off to the wet room to sort the pouch out, and used some toilet paper on the papule, held on with some medical tape.
Back to clean up the room. I had a wash and started to clean up Little Inchie. Oh, dear! The blood had dried, and getting the PPs off was a painful job!
The word Arrgh! That seems the optimum comment to use!
More cleaning up, me this time. The legs, Oh, and the wet room floor, too. All medicated where possible and cleaned up, I returned to the wet room to have a shave.

It didn’t go too well! Then the teeth started bleeding while cleaning them. The Brut aftershave was utilised. And did a good,, if stinging job!
Putting the creams away, I knocked some items off of the floor cabinet…
Some fell behind the WC, so I got the plastic picker-upperer I keep in there to retrieve the tubes. I got entangled in the bleach and cleaner bottles, and I decided to yank the picker-upperer free in my temper… Not a good idea on reflection; I no longer have a plastic picker-upperer… well, I have actually, but it’s in about six pieces, three of them broken!
♬ Morning has broken, like the ♬ So is Inchy’s spirit, now!

Carer Richard arrived.
He got the medications done, eye drops and put the next to last pad on the geyser for me; bless him. He also told me that he had checked the tablets & we don’t need to order any this week.

The pad he put on to replace the Heath Robinson affair I’d got on, stayed on, and is still there now, 15hrs later! Well done to Richard the Lionheart!

I got on the computer to update yesterday’s blog. But…
Liberty-Global oligarchs had failed again with their pathetic internet service. Although no doubt experts in Smoke & mirrors: someone who draw attention away from often embarrassing or unpleasant figures or issues, and figure manipulators, they are not very good at supplying a service. But nae bother this time it came back on shortly, and up to now, has stayed online for 17hrs!
I spent four hours grafting away. Making cock-ups, mistakes and errors.
Carer Marie called. We were both a little down and seemed to cheer each other up a smidge, bless her. She suggested I try eBay to get Olive Oil and some slippers, so I thanked her.
Spent a while longer and got the Sunday blog sent off at last.

I investigated the eBay option for Samaritan Olive oil, and I found a pair of slippers that looked comfy.

I later got an email for each one of the items, on the right here.

Back on the blogging to make a start on this one.

I went for the third time to the Porcelain Throne and was tickled pink when the evacuated product flowed solidly for the first time in days. Not back to normal yet, but close. Then again, what is normal?
My releases seem to change to opposites each day sometimes.
Leaving the wet room, a burst forth. Not enough to have me over, but an excellently aimed wobble and my right shoulder clashed with the door frame. No need to tell you, but I will, kicked off. Well fancy that!

Carer Israel arrived, with a letter that had been delivered. There was a date-clash, between Audio Clinic and the delivery of the slippers and or Samaritan Olive Oil! Cobblers!
The plaster thingy, he said could stay on until the morning. So, it did! All I did was bend down while sitting in the chair, to have a feel if the padding felt wet; it didn’t to me, but started off, and stayed with me for the rest of the night. I suppose I ought to be glad that left me in relative peace. Hehehe! Blimey, the day bag, was all but at bursting point! I cleared it just in time to avoid a flood of urine all over me, the flat, and maybe the Carer!
When he left, I got the fodder prepared, and tasty it was too. I took a photo of the fine feast… but found (on Tuesday), that I had not put the SD card into Humph!
The view from the kitchenette window when washing the pots & dishes, I decided I needed photographicalisationing. I made sure the SD card was in first, this time. It was a one for me. Straight away I envisioned the higher cloud left, being a shark or swordfish, with its long bill upper and in front, open mouth below, and even an eye in this view?

Nightie-Night!

Spot on colour in the night pouch.

leaking again.
Gathered the medications needed.
I think it’s less tender?
All done…
Five minutes later, I could see that she was at it again, beginning to seep through! My right leg is getting skinny.

Taken from the c1966, £300 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner.

Wet room and throne visit.

Interesting outcome of the end car park shot.
The sun coming up made it look like a barricade had been built on the mudslide part. Hehe!

Beautiful puffer clouds later. It was a changeable day, with lots of rain and showers later.

The day pouch colour was great.
But Little Inchy still hurt!

I made a cock-up here… I was going to put some Germolene on , but used in error.
It was great! Stung a little, mind you.

Made a change. Haha!

Here’s the meal plan for later.

I thought about tidying up the Carers table.
That was as far as it went!

Wonderful clouds up there.

I was making so many mistakes. The pains, leaks, lack of concentration, and I was yonks behind with the blogging (I still am!). How I got so much done, is a puzzle. Admittedly, a mistake-ridden mystery!

I stopped to make a much-needed brew, and I took these take these great to me, shots of the view.

Returned to the computer, and continued in the same fashion. The brain was occasionally being tested, as the memory faded and returned, but I’d got tons of work done? As I said, mostly error-ridden, and needed much correcting done, in my occasional fleeting moments of awareness. Such as they were. No doubt about it, for around three hours or so, I was in and out of whatever I was doing, which seemed to just work on the blog?

Took these after-sunset shots as the rain ceased.

I gave up blogging, after getting Thursdays done. I’ll have to start this one on Sunday… No wonder I’m chronologically confused; bewildered, puzzled, perplexed, and baffled. These mystifications are a part of my rapidly acquiring decrepitude, and degenerating brain and body: as I wend my way into accepting senility, mental decrepitude and the promise that is the harbinger of the forecasted approach of Alzheimer’s.
It’s being so cheerful that keeps me going. Hahaha!

FOOD!
I’d cooked some spuds in the crock-pot for about 12 hours, drained then chopped them up, and added them to the soup. I also added some chopped tomatoes (Not a completely blood-free exercise, but it was only the tiniest of cuts down a fingernail), and some Borscht, with sea salt to the saucepan.

CHEERS!
