Another not a lot done day.

Nocturnal pouch.

Carer Richard arrived
We’ve agreed to leave the ankle & leg strappings off, to see how it goes. Richard did not put the diabetic socks
on, as I was hoping to get a shower this morning. But that didn’t happen!

Lovely morning view.
Amazing cloud and lighting.

Carer Maryham came, I thought it was for the domestic, but she helped me with getting the diabetic socks on, washing and shaving. We had a natter as we got the ablutioning done, and after getting a fresh dressing gown on, she took a photo of me.
What handsome looking best!

I got some bottles of Bladder-pleasing spring water into the front room. I’m trying to during more, as the urine in the day bag os getting darker.

A very rare event here! I microwaved a hot dog, opened a packet of low-calorie sticks, and I added a pot of orange jelly, and had an afternoon snack! Nice!

For four hours or so, nothing was done. It’s as if I had a seizure to memory blank. Nothing had been done on the blog either. No TV on, but that’s not unusual. The kettle felt cold, so I’d not made myself a brew of tea. Nothing else on the reminder notepad?
What the heck was I doing?

I tried to concentrate on blogging, even though I knew there wasn’t a cat in hell’s chance of getting caught up; I’m a day and a half behind now! Add all the cock-ups, mistakes, errors and mind-blanks that followed, and I eventually gave up. Tired, mentally weary and frustrated in the extreme!
I did, however, get the few photos taken into CorelDraw and got them in the WordPress gallery to use in the morning… at least, I hope to. I pondered over where the term cat in hell’s chance may have originated, I looked it up on Google: A footnote to a humorous poem printed in The Gentlemen’s Magazine of April 1792 perhaps gives a clue to the origin. “Charon”, it says, “has orders to deprive all cats of their claws. Whence comes that saying in hopeless cases – he has as much chance as a cat in Hell without claws”.

Got some fodder cooked, prepared, and served up.

My mood today was, erm… how do I explain it without repeating myself? Nothing went right, yet nothing went disastrously. I was already so far behind with everything, at the time I seemed to have a ‘Sod-It’ temperament. Which slowly, as the day went on, transformed into one of self-pity, self-cussing and a search for some intoxicant, to calm myself down.
Had I known what awaited me on Monday morning, (it is now Monday evening, and I’m just starting the blog for Sunday!) I may have considered suicide, if I wasn’t such a coward, it was that bad this morning… But I digress; I do that a lot, you know!) I’ll have to put less in and try to make time to catch up. I considered doing just a cartoon, a quiz, an ode, and local news on, and any photos I take? Here be the photos, a lot has been missed of (I hear a sigh of relief? Haha!)

Not a good start!

Morning kitchen view.

Off to the wet room…
ARGH!
Ablutions tackled.
The legs and feet looked better now. But both cartilage and backs of the knees were worse. Got the medicationing done. Two shaving cuts, a stubbed toe and a heck of a job getting the PPs on.

Computer on, CorelDraw for graphics.

On the third day of pouch emptying, I tried to photograph. It looked like semolina as the bubbles rose to the top. Hahaha!

Took an afternoon shot of the clouds.
As I took the first one, a crow flew into view.
By the time I adjusted Kodak Tim to get a close-up, he or she was long gone. Tsk!
The sun’s setting was earlier than ever tonight.

Yum, Yum!

Evening views.
Low shot.
High shot.

Another hazy, confusing day. Constantly fitting between tasks and somehow not getting many finished. I had a few minutes of almost clarity of mind when I was replying to the comments… it was heaven as long as it lasted. But that was it productiveness-wise. I struggled when the Community Rehab & Falls people were doing an update on my condition. I remember a lot, at least I think I do, but so many blanks, and I can’t find the numbers they left to contact them; if I remember anything, I’ve not told them as I fumbled along, losing track of what was going on. Stuttering Stephanie caused embarrassment, and (there’s a word for this, but I can’t recall it) when I used the wrong words a few times when answering their questions. I look up the word again; it is ‘Receptive Aphasia’; I’ve now given this ailment a name, calling her Receptive Aphasia Phyllis.

Confusion reigned, and I was out of it more than in. And, I forgot to record, or can’t find where I wrote it if I did, the time of their next appointment. Humph!

Once again, it’s the next day, and I have only just started on this blog. (Friday 09:30hrs)

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Getting my head down so late in the morning again and Thinking Storming Steven having regular go at my sanity, I was finally settling into a decent period of sleep, and the Carer arrived. (07:15hrs). This I recall. But what happened on the visit, is a mystery to me. I can’t read the scribbled notes about whatever happened, well, the odd word, like, no pouch… waste bags, throne and view. This, I assume, was the view. The first picture on Kodak Tim. Not many were there, with the two-hour-plus Porc failedvisitation from the Falls & Rehab interview. A lot of that I can remember, along with the blanks.
Another reversal in style and content from the first failed visit to the Porcelain Throne.
Waste bags were sorted out and placed near the doorway into the foyer. I recall seeing Josie’s as was, door and started to worry about her. I’ve found out she is in a care home in Arnold, but not which. I want to visit her, but no one seems to know where she is. Her family have been emptying her flat all week. So sad!
I did ask for the carers on each visit to take the laundry down for me.
But it’s still there, a bulging bag that is only going to get fullerer! Hahaha!.

Ah, I remember now; the first Carer was Christopher, and he came back later to check I was alright. Apparently, I was ‘Out of it’ and expressing depressional feelings on the first visit. Bless him!

NHS FALLS & REHABILITATION VISIT

Miguel, with Trainee Charlotte from the Falls Team, arrived at the flat, to do an assessment on me.
Some of this section may be out of sync or missing altogether due to my FND.
Had to put new batteries in the hearing aids, and they are all fine now with the hearing problem. But things being told me were not sinking in, and I was… well, what the word? Disorientated, adrift and losing track of what I was replying to as much as the advice and questions that were coming my way.
The medical history was updated. After an hour or so, I was told that an appointment would be made for a visit from a Physiotherapist. Which may be affected by the Physiotherapist’s Strike Action. I’d hoped to get help with the FND symptoms and Cognisant Impairment Iris. They bother me more than anything physical; I know the falls and pains are caused by a combination of Peripheral Neuropathy, Pete, & Receptive Dysphasia Phyllis. I think I mentioned the electric current tingling in the ankles and feet getting worse. If not, I meant to!
Miguel got me to do some exercises with stretching, leg lifting etc. Concentrated on the knees, and Cartilages Chloe and Carole. Carole was far more painful when lifting the right leg. I mentioned that it sometimes the left leg worse, or both of them.
He mentioned something at this point, I think, but that has absconded into the grey haze of forgetfulness along with other things.
Talking of getting about difficulties, he had me walk around the flat with the trolley. I mentioned , and her wobbly handlebar. Miguel had it sorted in a short time for me; it works fine now. Grrreat! Thanks.
Reflux Roger kicked off while we were talking, and Miguel looked very concerned. I’m sure I explained how the problem arose after the Mechanical Aorta Valve operation. Ensuring him that there was only a vague imitational bit of pain each time it blasted out the air through my mouth, and it happens every day or night. The night ones would have woken me up, but with Thought Storming Steve and Shaking Shoulder Shirley, I was usually awake when he hit me, anyway.
After they had left, I could not find the contact numbers for them, as I mentioned earlier. Tsk!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The late afternoon is a mystery to me. I know I was a little peed-off at myself for not recalling or recording matters of the visit and self-loathing at the time, but rather than a Memory Blank this time, it may have been due to Receptive Aphasia Phyllis. As I had not got anything done between drifting off and coming back for about an hour, on the computerOf course, I may have nodded off in the computer chair?

Can of 3-Bean soup, with a vegetable and tomato sauce. Two cheap but nice Asda baguettes. A pot of 10-calorie strawberry jelly for afters.
It tasted lovely, rich, flavourful and most of it was eaten. (I made too much, methinks!)

I thought all that veg might have helped me on the Porcelain Throne Evacuation. It didn’t. This was my third failed attempt today! Hopefully, by the time the food works its way down into the guts, things will improve. Of course, I could be wrong!

How did you do at guessing what the thingamabob was in the photo?
Hehehe! Did you spot the face in the foam cleaner? I have to admit, I can’t see it now, but did at the time? No, no, I can see it again now!
I took a terribly bad picture of the evening view from the kitchen window. I’m getting good at doing this… something of an expert almost! But I tried one higher up, thinking it would be easier to get a decent-quality shot of the clouds in the night sky.
The clouds I saw with my eyes taking this, seem to have melted away? Ah, well!

I clouted my right shoulder against the wet room door. As I checked, I’d not left any taps running. This produced the longest-ever bout come attack from Shirley’s Shaking Shoulder I’ve had for a long time.

Shirley’s shuddering carried on to when I got my head down. Typical, the one night out of the last ten, that Thought Storming Steven was giving me a rest, and Shirley takes up the mantle of keeping me awake!

Unbelievable! I finally nod off in the early hours of the morning, and REflux Roger wakes me up repeatedly with his gigantic emissions of wind! Not that they hurt a lot; they just wake me up with the power of the gastroesophageal emissions. Humph!

Red sky in the morning – Shepherds Warning!

Evacuation procedure… then got a wash and medicated various departments that needed it. Fresh PP’s adorned, but there was a cost! Not financially…a , and the giving way of  , with the most painful she’s ever been, when I had to get the PPs on, over
So bad, I took an extra Codeine later.

There followed another food order cock-up!
I’ll try to get it clear what happened, but I might waffle on a bit; if so, I’m sorry…
I knew there was an Asda order due today. And, that I’d ordered  J Sainsbury’s already, for next Tuesday.
arrived, and as she did, the intercom chimed out. Marie pressed the pane; to admit them. Ah, I thought, that’ll be the Asda order! She got the bags into the kitchen for me, bless her.
I got the food away.
I was surprised to see Vegan Cookies, I didn’t think that Asda sold them?
Confused…
Especially when the chine went again, and another food order arrived!!!
This was the Asda delivery.
The first one was from J Sainsbury – the one I ordered for next Tuesday, but obviously got it wrong once more! My self-hatred and guilt drove through my physical body into my intestines and core!
Took a lot of sorting out.
While I verbally had a cursing session at myself some more! My depression dawned!
At least the pasta sauces arrived.
I clouted my elbow on the door; it was sore!
The fridge amazingly still had room in it?
The freezer had not. I had to cram bread and other food items into to so they could keep till later. I seemed to be constantly cursing, lambasting myself over this all day long! My concentration wilted. Not a good part of the day at all. Had not been on holiday, she may have spotted my cock up.

I made up the waste bags.
To round off my depression at this farce, I felt the pain from the backflow suddenly coming from the pouch on my; boy, was it full!
.
Ah, well, serves me right, I suppose!

.
I’m sick to the back teeth (and I’ve only got two of them left) at the frustration, anger-making cock-ups brought on by and the .
I know things are not going to get any better. With poor Josie going into a home, and lack of attention to my physical and mental problems. But they are concerned about the lack of Vitamin B and Diabetes. So, I get a leaflet about each worry, to read. Knowing I have Saccades, Cataracts Katie and Glaucoma Gladys to hinder my reading. Thankfully, I still use the computer; I’ve found a quick way to enlarge or reduce the view on some pages of the web.
Properly sorry for myself now. Hehe!

The came and went all afternoon. I wandered off doing the blog, to search about Diabetes 2. Then, reading the HealthUnlocked site, I forgot all about having a meal. It’ll do me no harm though. No idea which Carers came until the last one, that was . I remembered I’d got a lamb Patti for him, and a choice of bubbles and a drink. He showed some concern for me being in the mood I was, bless him. He removed the diabetic socks for me, and he left the on the chair for me to fit on after I’d made and had the belated evening meal.
Here is the nosh, nearly all eaten up. Better to photo it late than never. Hehehe! Enjoyed these. Those Jamaican lamb patties, which I thought maybe too hot for me, were great! I’ll try them again when I make another Asda order.

I came across this photographicalisation that I’d missed from this morning on the SD card. The mudslide in the end car park view.

The hue of the urine in the day bag as I took it off and emptied it, was great! Getting the night pouch on was not easy tonight. That’s how it is sometimes. Two nights earlier, I did it in a couple of minutes… tonight, well, this morning, It took me ten minutes of baffling about before I got it fully attached and leak-proof to the

I couldn’t see any difference with the hat?

Today has been, up to now, a nothing day.
This is the oddest one I’ve had for a long time; although the hectic ones were annoying, this does nothing other than make a mess of blogging and getting a delivery from Amazon Day; it was out of this world… No, the fact that I just went along with the nothingness all around me is a surprising bit. No Josie, no Wardens, and my mind was wandering all over the place. Anywhere I wanted it to go, well, Humph! On the bright side, Carer Shaquille and Carer Kimberly were in a decent mood, and we managed a few laughs… which were the highlights of the day!

I had to make some templates up, and I got carried away when I found a few words I could use in the ode.

Not so dark this morning.

Moon, or reflection of flash. I don’t remember taking this one at all?

A gone-wrong early morning shot of the houses.

Ablutions.

Looks to me like , along with are beginning to blow up, bleed,  and scab again.
The two-tone-shaded toes… Scrawny leg bottoms, but fat at the top? Hehe!
are more prominent too! Some vein lumps rising.

Another change in the evacuation department!

Took a close up of the two-tone-shaded toes.

A truly blue hue now.

The output was more consistent today. I took these about an hour apart from each one. And a good colour, too.

Late afternoon clouds.Getting darker now.

I got carried away doing the ode.
Spent hours on it, but the result was disappointing.
Peaceful!
Aha, a misty sunset.

Today, , & tended to my needs.

Another seasoned vegetable stew tonight!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
Talking about bad luck, I thought you might like this true Tale Of Woe, with Royal Connections, no less… What I went through, in about 1985, starts with a waffle about the new King and my jealousy but gets to the QMC farcical hospital Whoopsiedangleploppery.

You must be fed up hearing me waffle on about life gifted-to-me F.N.D., Cognitive Impairment Iris & Peripheral Neuropathy Pete… Well, me too!
Today was full of ups & downs mentally. I couldn’t believe that anyone could repeatedly change so often. At times, within minutes, then back to the opposite mood, euphoric, uncaring, not worried at times, and Mega-depressed, self-pitying at others (But not suicidal!). A roller-coaster of emotions. This went along with Memory Lapses, which are now just accepted.
Still, I got a great nosh made. Hehe!

06:20hrs: I woke but was not really interested in doing anything in a sort of instant depression.

By the time I’d got the detached from the day bag, I found myself whistling as I did the balance exercises; I noted the beauty of the sky & moon through the balcony windows & doors and went to take some photos. I had to divert to the wet room…
That was a waste of time!
I took a shot of the ‘Designer’, Inchy’s Peed, several times, washed, dried, and salvaged slippers. Hehe!
The usual medicationalisationing was done.

Hello, back on the Throne again…
I’d just decided to have a go at the crossword puzzle, expecting another false alarm…
A liquid torrent of the finest quality splurged out from the read end, splattering and rebounding up my bum and the porcelain! Yet, at this point, I just wasn’t bothered. I just finished cleaning and Germoloiding the rear end, the W.C., and the somehow escaped specs on the floor. Despite the minor that I  , I still felt… Well, up!

Then, as I was getting the fresh P.P.s on…
I was at the riskiest part of the operation, Standing on the worst right leg and trying to hole the P.P.s with the picker-upper to force the left leg into the allotted hole, and gave way on me. I quickly dropped the picker-upper, which fell, landing on me, and I twisted my back while grabbing the sink to avoid going over in a tumble… This did not work! I went down so fast that my hand was still clutching the side of the sink when I collided with the wet room floor! Which I reckon may have saved me from a worse outcome.
I struggled to get back up, using the to do so. Once up, I tried to get some pain gel on the affected lower back area. but it was too painful to reach where the worst pain was.
MedPhorpainI’ll ask the Carer to do me later. I struggled so painfully, but I eventually got the P.P.s on.

Arriving at the optimum time. Chris gave my back a good rubbing of Phorpain gel. We discarded the Paracetamols, and I later took an extra Codeine, which, along with the gel, did ease the agony of the back. I thought I was going to have to see the medics about it, but it got far less painful as the day progressed. Just as well, I’m a pain-bearing, heroic sort. Ahem!

I washed and got some Anya potatoes in the crock pot for later in a stew I’m planning.
This little gem of a mini potato, I had to photograph. Remember that amongst my many blog followers, there are pareidoliarists (Well, they both are!)
Can you see objects in the spud?
I see a tank, a face with that on, and a duck. Please let me know if I missed any you can see.

Still a little murky out there, but not cold.

I thought it was never going to stop!

The front car park is on Chestnut Way.

Emptied .
I got stew ingredients in the saucepan with potatoes to add later. Additions: chunky tomatoes & vegetable cooking sauce, garden peas, vegetable stock, liquid sea salt, and courgettes. I hadn’t heated it yet; I just stirred the mixture occasionally, cut up the cooking bacon, and got it in the oven.
Got the potatoes added.

Started blogging.
I drifted out of it, I think, for about three hours.
I’d done work on CorelDraw and made a start on the blog template… It took me four more hours to correct what I’d done wrong or missed, Humph!

Went to check on the bacon in the oven and took these.

I got the well-burnt bacon from the oven.
Had a struggle to detach the lumps from the oven tray. I bent the food slices and used a metal one to get them all off the tray. As for the tray, it was doomed to the waste bag. R.I.P.

The pouch was a great colour… well, it looks it in this photo. But I’m sure it was a lot darker in reality…
Then again, logicality & and I disagree about what this is.

It was worth all the efforts to make. This little feast tasted Grreat!

Easy-Peazy! Haha!.

Cheers, each!

An out-of-it-more than-with-it a day.
Cold, with escaping Southerly winds! Hehe!
Felt drained much earlier than usual.
Concentration was minimal… if that!
Acne & Excema storms.
Angiitis & Angiopathy itches, bleeding.
Fell asleep at the computer!
Then nodded off on the WC!
Mind-Blanks Galore!
So, a usual day for me!
Humph!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Although sleeping with its usual broken nodding and waken routine, I was still in the second-hand, £300, c1968, overwhelmingly sickening beige-coloured, tatty, uncomfortable, wobbly, germ-producing, falling to pieces, food residue collecting recliner at 07:15hrs.
And was almost annoyed when the summoning to the Porcelain Throne arrived and had to get up.

A decent amount of pee was passed! I can’t say the same for the rear-end evacuation on the Throne.
Ah, well! A False Alarm, then?

I found this mystery photo on the SD later. What it was and why I took it remains another mystery of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, Cognitive Impairment Iris, & FND, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind? You never know; I might remember what it was all about while I’m doing this blog… What am I saying… Tsk!

Washed, and I went back to the recliner… deliberately emptying the bags without checking for any nocturnally nibbled empty packets of crisps. Looking through the balcony windows, the ground frost was apparent.

Ti the kitchen to make a brew of J Sainsbury’s Extra Strong tea. And took the view above.

Carer Richard arrived, I can remember bits of the session clearly, but so many blanks remain. Even I can’t believe or understand why. Then a  mild depression started due to this. I was losing what we’d said minutes earlier. But could recall the time he arrived?

I made a start on today’s ode. Concentration was good, and I knew this was going to take some time.
Carer Maryam arrived. She said she was here to do the domestic shift. And a grand job she did for me. And, I can remember a lot of what the gal did and said. She cleaned the oven and the kitchen floor, tidied around, and had a go at the wet room floor but had to rush it a little as the time was up. Bless her cotton socks. Oh, yes, socks; I can recall Richard putting on the socks, ankle and legging straps for me now. And he checked the medication’s stock in hand and dates.

Back on the ode creating, which for some reason, I was struggling with. This annoyed me, as they usually flow pretty easily from my   infected brain. But not today?
After emptying the fast-filling day pouch…
I got seated, and actually, no joking, I nodded off on the computer chair for I don’t know how long for.
I woke up as chimed out, and Carer Marie came into the room. She was in a hurry today, but we did have a little natter, moan, and laugh, as she issued the medications. ♥

As the gal left, I got another hint that I needed to use the again, so I did. Haha!

It was a long wait, but I got the evacuation to start, and it needed some effort on my part to free the initial concrete torpedo, which edged its way painfully and bloodily into the WC; there followed a tsunami of almost liquid shooting out! I felt drained, and somehow or other, as I was working out what needed doing cleaning up and medically… I fell asleep again and sat atop the dark brown torpedo and brown liquid in the bowl. When I woke up, things had dried on the lower rear-end region, the stink was terrible, as I got myself sorted out first, a good cleaning, drying and
Germolened the backside, I saw the clock, and by Jimminee, I reckon I’d been asleep for over an hour and a half, maybe longer. Another cleaning up session of the floor, porcelain and WC lid had to be done. Where did the time go? What day is it?

I got things sorted, went to the kitchen, and planned the meal of the day. Chips, peas and beef & gravy!
A banana and pot of jelly for afters!
Despite my frustration at the events and another bout of depression, I turned into a different person while eating this nosh. It tasted grand!

After Carer Chris called, I decided I’d had enough of taking horrible night photos and would do my damnedest to take some good ones!
Well, that one wasn’t any good…
Strewth, how many moons did I take? Haha!
Wrinkles again. A misshaped moon too, but at least I got it looking vaguely like a moon.

Had a mug of tea, and…
FELL ASLEEP AGAIN
When I woke up, Carer Chris was in the room, taking off the leggings. I can’t say much more; I cannot recall much of what happened at all.
After he’d left I realised that I had not started this blog off yet! Made a start, and now, at 02:45hrs in the morning, I’m up to here with it.

I went to check that I’d not left the tap or stove on, and decided to try one last time at taking a morning hot of the view from the kitchenette.
Took the sky first, not very good was it… Again!
That’s it, a semi-decent one at last! Well…

The stretched photo revealed (Just the bottle).

So weary now. 03:50hrs!
I have the District nurse coming tomorrow, an Asda order, and someone else, but I cannot recall who, and I’ve not put it on my calendar. Humph!
So, I do not have much time free tomorrow.

CHEERS!

Not much passed overnight.

First things: Escaped the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety recliner. Balance exercises, then…

This sad photo was taken from the kitchenette window. Supposedly, a close-up of Cavendish Avenue.
Then, I tried to get a decent view of the horizon

Consistent!

Had a mug of J.S. red label Ex-Strong tea

arrived. No socks or strappings were needed, as I intended to get a shower later.
But this didn’t happenHumph!
I asked the lad if he could help me with assembling of the table. Negative response. But I still gave him his treats, as usual. Bless him!

Bit of a change here…

Catching up with the blog for Friday. For about three hours of error-ridden writing.

Visit four: Another variation on an old theme.

Another attempt at a decent photo as it got lighter.

I nearly got caught out when the day punch suddenly filled up again. A little dark, still, too.

Hours later, I nipped out on the balcony to view the end car par mudslide. Shrinking back again. It might be gone soon if we do not get any more rain, perhaps?

Called. We had a little natter and treat sharing. No painkillers are needed.

Then, I decided to make an early meal.
Surimi sticks, tomatoes, beetroot, chips, cobs, with a  side of Chop sauce. Not bad at all.

Slurped!
Ice cream followed.

I was drained, and I put the computer in ‘sleep mode’ and fell blissfully asleep… for five minutes or so.
Tormenting, teasing dreams that even I could barely understand flowed for a couple of hours or more. Constantly bursting awake… Yet seemed to go back to sleep immediately? It was as if I wanted, needed, I had to, involuntarily, get back to the nightmares. Oddest few hours mentally than I’ve had for weeks!
I’m certain that I was talking to myself all the way through!
The need for yet another visit to the Throne was welcomed. Bad as it was, it broke my determination to try to get back to the mental turmoil of sleep.
How messy… but welcome?

Late sunset photos were taken.
Lovely shade on view.
Tried a little closer.
Then, to the left slightly.

Carer arrived; I was out of reality; I could not even remember who called. I found a set of Health Check figures in the morning, so I must have taken his B.P. I think it may have been Victor or Israel?
I’ll publish the latest in the morning.

Hunger Again – I’m eating far too much lately!
Frustration? – Depression? – FND?
Naughty!

CHEERS!

Was the main hassle today. he spent most of the time off in the ether, far away. But, what do I know? A close second was persistent  , a frequent visitor, who ruined so many of my plans and hopes of any chance of improvement in mental health. He didn’t linger for long, but he did so often. Repeatedly, with a dogged determination to depress me more. I was mentally up and down like a yo-yo all day and night. I think that must have gone into coalition, and made a cunning deal, or agreement, with nightly , to have a go at me nocturnally too. I certainly woke up in an unaccountably niggly, self-hating mood.
Still, not much detail, but I’ll press on…

A smidge dark.

Late morning sky, 04:30hrs.
Late morning sky, 04:32hrs.

. Just when I was going to the wet room to get the ablutions done! I was in such low spirits, that I pressed on and got the shaving done first, fetching, having to struggle carrying hot water from the kitchen in the kettle and saucepan, and back again several times. Humph! It didn’t bother me in the slightest.
.
.
A couple of cuts shaving. One bled badly.
Had to clean up the haemoglobin on the sink & floor!

Carer Chris arrived and got the diabetic socks, and leg straps, on for me, and meds were given.

I recall calling later on, and she helped me sort something out I think, but I have no idea what it was. It might come back. (So might World Peace!) The missing laundry has not been returned.

Chimed out, and off to the door I hobbled.
No one there? Another of the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already delicate state of mind?

Got with the much-belated Tues blog.

The mudslide reclining?

View during the rain, through the balcony.

View from the kitchen in the rain.

Rain stopping now.

Sorry, not much in this.

The FND symptoms were worse today,
Reflux Roger with the airway,
Hassle from Catheter Cathy,
Glaucoma Gladys, hard to see!
Again, no one telephoned me,
Puerility, self-hostility, and humility,
More Whoopsiedangleploppery,
Inchys Fungal Lesion bloody…
The lapsing muddy memory,
Help from Joanne & Marie…
They were searching for my lost laundry,
The laundry location? Another mystery…
My mind & body mode? Inadequacy!
I had moments of feeling lonely!
A Thought Storming Steve, argie-bargie,
Life’s inadequacy, inarticulacy, indeterminacy,
Talking of me having a Zimmer yesterday?
I wonder if I could manage a Segway?

Up late this morning, and still only got 5 hours kip.

Great healthy colouring!

A blurry first photo.

Later and lighter.
With the moon lingering?

Brew and computering.

For the next three hours, yet bits I recall very well. Carer Marie arrived and helped me search the flat for the missing laundry bag that I felt had not yet been returned. No luck. And Marie and Joanne returned, on their tea breaks, to give the flat a good rummage looking for the bag. Bless them! No signs.

Fatigued and confused, I stopped blogging and made a meal. Recall taking a photo of it, but it didn’t make it to the SD card. Another of the Mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the hobgoblins, spectres, gnomai, phantasms, ghosts, the grotesque succubae, extraterrestrials, ectoplasms, spirits, or the Fata Morganas, that have been sent to taunt, irritate and terminate my already limited saneness of mind?

Washed the pots. And took three snaps of the stainless, yes, I said rainless view on offer from the kitchen window. Hehehe!
To the left. The suspected cannabis growers dwellings.
Straight ahead. Showing the house that had been having improvements done now for about eight months on their roof extensions. A rare sight to see any workers working, but one saw one today.

To the right, behind the beautiful tree copse.

Carer Victor did the last two calls. I took his Health Checks on the next to last call.
