Woke and rose at 04:15hrs: After over five hours of kipping! Grrreat!  Took me a while to nod off, but I only had three, I think
And didn’t visit me once! But, as usual, when I moved, this time it was both & giving me grief, and it must have taken me five minutes to get to the wet room. More on that later.
The absolute worst thing to affect me was in the late afternoon, & launched an attack that I ended up surrendering to and gave up trying to do this blog. Defeated!
With the coughing and downfall of skin when the forehead. , I’m surprised I have any skin left on my head; it was falling off all day. Later I rang Sister Jane, and she and hubby Pete were not in good health at all. Jane’s cough sounded terrible. I’m worried about her now. As I moved to get the B17 tablets that Jane had told me had a
rsenic in them and told me not to use them, to read the label – I went down on one knee. Suddenly, I dropped the landline telephone. , I took a tumble when  gave way. I grappled my way back up on my feet to get to the landline; poor Jane was coughing away something wicked. So many people seem to have this ‘Lurgie’ thing this week. Several Carers, the nurse, the electrician… oh, and me. I hope it’s not another form of Covid, and HMG wants to keep it quiet, with the election coming up?
Much later, I tried again to get some blogging done. Well, I did a bit, but it was error-ridden and amazingly hard work, trying to
keep a clear head on the task.

Passed well, not a bad colour.

Concrete, mush, torpedo, gooey, nothing moved, wet and watery, squirty… Never the same twice in a row! You watch it now I’ve said that. Hehe!

Kitchen view.

Back to the wet room. Not for the again, but to clean up Little Inchies bleeding, I caught the catheter tube closing the window. Talk about hurt! Cleaned it up and medicated things

On leaving the wet room, I saw the moon high in the sky. I thought this is worth photographicalisationing. But could I get a decent shot? No!
This is getting bad now. This time, as I was trying to get a decent shot, a , not only that but joined in as well. Then, after taking the sad pictures and closing the window… , I knocked the knife block off of the window ledge. The tip end of the cheese knife broke off when it hit the floor.

Naturally, these incidents didn’t phase or bother me in the slightest. I just laughed them off.

I made a brew of Glengettie and got the computer on to work on this blog. A new Caregiver arrived and Medicated me, put the diabetic soaks on for me, and had a little natter. What about escapes me now. Tsk!

I computed for it appears, for five hours, according to the clock, but not according to the work and progress not done on the blog. I may have suffered a   or maybe , but I recall nothing of this time whatsoever. The rot had set in.

called, and I bluffed my way through. I think, in fact, I did not stop talking to the poor gal. It would help if I could remember what she was talking about. I think I may have, possibly, conceivably mentioned the Lurgy because Joanne sounded like she had a sore throat… or did she?

I did continue on the blog, but it was a bit farcical. I’ll have to get u[ early in the morning so I can get a shave and shower before the Carer arrives, then get back on this Inchy blog. I’d taken some photos… I know this cause I found them on the SD card.
What amazing views.
Gorgeous.
Oh, how I’d love to recall the pleasure of taking them.
These two below, I took later.
I do recall taking these.

I won’t make a meal yet cause it’s close to the last Carer calling time. I’m a different being compared to the one I was hours ago. Struggling a bit here!

But I’m so glad I got the graphics and ode done early on.

Best nosh in a long time.

You Take Care Out There, Please!

Inchies WP Daily Prompt 2001 Reply

â‘ : Waking up in the morning.
I also lose what day it is, who I am, and sometimes the Month and Year. Where I am at times.

â‘¡: BLOGGING

â‘¢: Falling asleep at the Doctor’s, clinic or hospital.

â‘£: When I have a monster depression.

⑤: Making love to any of my hareem of 26
gorgeous nubile young wives…

â‘¥: DOREEN DEMENTIA

⑦: COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT IRIS

⑧: MIND BLANKS...
BUGGERS THESE ARE!
If you don’t mind, I’ll mention two that I can remember that I suffered this year.
Coming out of the Diabetes Course meeting, near Bulwell.
I remember thinking I’m well early to catch the Easy-Lift back to the prison… I mean flats and decided to go into Bulwell and feed the ducks & pigeons on the River Leen… Mind-Blank!
I came around and found myself in the Poundland Shop, wondering how the hell I got there. It’s a good ten-minute walk from the Health Centre? I had a bag of birdseed on the trolley; Somehow, I’d walked all that way, crossed a busy road, and got into the shop. It was like suddenly waking up. I mention this to the Dementia Nurse later. She listened to me telling her intently and changed the subject?

The other one I can recall went like this. I got on a bus to go up to Mapperley Top. I came out of the blank as I was getting off the bus about three miles beyond the stop I needed?
I mentioned both incidents the next time I saw Doctor Vindla at her surgery. No response at all… other than am Huhuh! Then she asked if I was doing better with the new catheter?
These did happen! I’m certain of it. But it seemed that the medics may have put it down to Doreen’s Dementia and/or Cognitive Impairment Iris. I’ve had a few since then, but don’t think I should mention them again, due to the uninterested negative responses I got then.

03:00hrs: I woke, but without the usual jump and or jerk? Not complaining, mind you. As I was manipulating the challenging struggle to get up on my feet, I got a little help to make me move faster… The rapidly getting urgent need of a wee-wee! As I approached the grey overnight bucket, it became apparent that I would also require using the Porcelain Throne. So, I went to the Porcelain Throne. Well, it seemed sensible!
Boy, what a session! I’d got myself ready for the usual struggle to pass, got the crossword book out… Things started moving straight away! Smoothly, painlessly and bloodlessly! Yee-Ha!

Rinses and cleaned, and went out into the kitchen to get the kettle on.

Number One: I took these photos of the morning view as the water boiled, and I made a right mess of the first one. I didn’t think I’d even had any shakes, , and were not giving me any bother?
But I still made a hash of it. Tsk!
The second try came out a lot better, even if not like modern art, as the first one was. Hehe!

Then, as I was making the tea, there seemed to be water all over the countertop.
At first, I thought the kettle was leaking. But after a quick inspection, I found nothing untoward there.
The water seemed to be getting worse, so I got some paper towels and wiped it up.
Then had, a look up to see if anything was coming down through the ceiling. Nope!
number two: Eventually, it clicked.
The slow cooker had been leaking, and I think must have made me miss a load of it from last night. Phew!

I got on the computer to update yesterday’s blog. Five hours later, had blanked out a lot of concentration, and blogging was a morning nightmare. If anything was forgettable, do-wrongable or losable, I did it. I had to take a break, so I did.

I pottered about in the kitchen; even in doing that, I started things and moved on to sorting something else with the first thing being finished. At one stage, I started to pour all the part bottles of disinfectants into an empties spray bottle.
Then found I was placing a baking potato on the counter to cook later? What? Got back to the disinfectants and saw I had no bleach under the sink. I wandered around trying to remember where I put the bleach that was delivered on… erm… last week.
Talk about confused! I got back to the disinfectants and mixed in the different types and scents with each other… at least judging by the smell of them later on. And I was happy doing them?

The light was coming early. Then again, I didn’t realise how late it was in the morning then – Confusion Conrad was in charge this morning.

These three photographs were taken, its a miracle they came out so well. Because my mind seemed to want to get back to sorting the cleaning bottles?
Well, I thought they did.

Came in, the poor thing was yawning again. Hehe! Got the medications sorted, and as if something had clicked during this visit, my concentration began to return?
We had a little natter about this and that. I insisted she takes a drink and nibble with thanks.
She took the waste bags with her. ♥
Oh, I nearly forgot; I asked her to take a look at the dates on the Enoxaparin hypodermics. They are too small for me to read them. They were well out of date. Jodie said to tell Richard on Monday. So I will!

I got back to the computer, still not concentrating as I should, but better than earlier. It’s funny that; getting it back never happened so quickly before? I wished it had lasted for longer.

The noisy neighbour from above kicked off big time with his banging and clanging. The concentration was lost again. But I pressed on, not doubt missing many errors, and making more, I got the blog finished. Then made up an Ode for today and then one for tomorrow.
I was feeling so tired suddenly. Then realised I’d not had much in the way of sleep again and had been up for over twelve hours already. I got the potato in the oven: it’ll be about an hour, I should think. Now I have to ensure I don’t fall asleep, and it burns.

I’ll try to get on the WP reader now. Ah! Not done the Health Checks – Next job then! Better late than never…

Not bad, down a little anyway!

The potatoes in the oven looked like a giant passion fruit when I took a look. Hehehe! I dished it and had the last two Sourdough cobs well-buttered.
Cooked chestnuts, gherkin slices, red and orange tomatoes and all of the remaining mock bacon slices. Which were rather nice! Flavour: 8/10.
I cleaned the pots, wee-wee’d washed, medicated the eyes, olive-oiled the ear-holes, and got down in the c1968, £300, second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner. To watch the regular weekday ‘Heartbeat’ episode.

But: Can you believe what they did? The Swine at Channel ITV 10, on Freeview? They only took of the Heartbeat episodes! Gits! Scumballs! Have they no compassion or understanding of senile old fools who watch this programme? (Fair enough, I usually fall asleep when the averts come on). And what did unthinking twerps show in the place of the best TV series ever made? Horse Racing!
My being lucky enough not to have any pathological gambling, compulsive gambling or other gambling disorders or interest, I looked up this race day: The Breeders’ Cup 2022 with Grade 1s each way you turn at the Kentucky venue. The year-end championship for North American Flat racing, it has attracted star horses from across the globe.
But at the cost of making many old farts in the UK sulk and even get annoyed at losing their ‘Heartbeat’ to watch.
I am aware that in our block of flats where will have several senior-aged ‘Born Gamblers’ who will welcome horse racing. Good for them!
Gambling is classed as an impulse-control disorder. It is included in the American Psychiatric Association (APA’s) Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, fifth edition (DSM-5). Problem gambling is harmful to psychological and physical health. Ha! The gambling-addicted lads and lasses in our apartments look fitter and happier than I am! Mind you, they all have ticks, smoke and drink!
Good luck to them, I say. A man with my luck cannot dare risk gambling, so I’m safe from one addiction, at least. Hahaha!
I’ve forgotten what I was on about now… Oh, yes, ITV Channel 10 removing Heartbeat. The Swine!

chimed out and came in. He looked a lot less tired tonight. Nice lad. We had a decent chinwag after he’d done the medications. Selected a cold can of orange juice from the fridge by way of thanks and took the waste bags to the bin on his way out.

I resettled in the £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, itch-producing, none-working recliner. Sleep did come easier this time, but t was dream-filled crap again.

Three hours later, I burst almost nervously wide awake to find myself needing the NWWB (Nocturnal-Wee-Wee-Bucket), with a lot of PMAD (Post-Micturition-After-Dribbling) following the main event.
That did it, of course. I tried but could not get back to sleep. Humph!

Inchcock: Monday 24th October

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

After roughly four hours of kip, I was jolted, mentally-viciously awake at 02:00hrs. I spent the next three hours or so trying to get back to sleep. It was very frustrating as it had taken me hours to get to sleep in the first place. But it didn’t bother me much at all.
At 05:30ish, the need for a wee-wee forced me to abandon my plans to get back to sleep. Not that it mattered, there was not a chance of it happening, thanks to Sweet Morpheus being in a bad mood with me again.

By the time I’d got myself onto my feet and caught my balance, I’d decided to get the done. I divested the jammies, and gathered the clothes needed to put on, and limped to the wet room. Things went very well. I even managed to get the socks on without having to battle, one which I was bound to lose against .
In this photo, I was resting painfully with my right leg on the WC seat. You wouldn’t believe the again I went through to get it up there! Did you see the Deep vein thrombosis veins had started to appear again? I’ll mention this when the DVT Nurse comes again. I can show her this picture… Of course, it’ll drive her passion again for me; when she sees them, her eyes will twinkle, and she’ll move closer to me and have a feel… Hehehe!

Well, even I realised after the ablutionalisationing session was over; I’m been exceptionally lucky this morning, and I really had, mate. had not attacked me at all, and I’d been up and about for over an hour by then! No Dizzies, walking into anything. (although it would not be too long until I did, and more than once!) Not dropping anything (Ah, I did drop the toothbrush, sorry). was noticeable by her absence, but were not too bad… (mind you, I haven’t dropped anything on them or stubbed a toe yet) and no… I’d better not mention anything else, don’t want to push my luck. I went into the kitchen, and I took a photo of the view from the window. I doctored it later to this shape.
Not too bad a job either. He says…
Sorted some waste bags out. Took all four to the waste chute. It’s funny how I suddenly had so many? A Blank? Have I spoken too soon?

Got a text from Iceland telling me they had been forced to make substitutions. Fancy that!
I got the started, and made up these graphics with the results.
Look at that! A near-perfect body temperature resulted for today. I had a feeling that I was doing too well, you know!

The SYS & DIA combined and were in the Hypertension Red zone again, so, no surprise there, then.

The 7-Day Excel record is looking betterer, but it still confuses me how they allot the colours?

I was working merrily away on CorelDraw, and it had another blip! They stand-need to tell me the price has increased!.
It started freezing again, but I waited long enough on three occasions, and it did start once more. I’m not sure how much longer it will last?

arrived as I was putting some potatoes into the crock-pot. Soon got the medications sorted out for me. Then I had him in tucks, telling him about the trousers dropping down on Sunday. Hehe!
Unfortunately, but not unexpectedly for me, as we were going along the corridor, I clouted my elbow on the funny bone on the closet door! Richard’s face lit up, and laughter broke out. He said: “I wonder why they call it the funny bone,
I walked him to the door, and we parted, both of us laughing. I even gave him a thumbs-up sign as he disappeared through the end flat lobby door, and then, still smiling with pleasure, I went back into the flat…
And fell arse-over tit when I tripped against the three-wheeler-trolley guide. I ended up a flobby mass of a dishevelled pensioner… the worst bit was hitting my head against the radiator on the way down, then bounced in a fashion sideways, hitting my right shoulder on the opposite wall, rolling into the towel airer, knocking it flying! Ending up with a leg bent underneath my body mass, the other stuck through the tubes on the fallen heater!

I went on hands and knees to the recliner and got myself up again. That was enough work for me for a day or two! Hahaha! After cleaning myself up, Phorpain Gelling the shoulder, and Germoleneing the forehead, I got back to the memory notepad to write my experiences to go on today’s blog. That is if I ever get Sundays finished first!

The intercom flashed, and the Iceland delivery arrived.

The delivery man threw the things into some carrier’s bags and departed the flats and the boxes. I got the bags into the kitchen.

Very luckily, I remembered the potatoes bubbling away in the crock pot, and I turned them off. Always the hero I am! Very strongly in this case! “Shurrup!” Alto-Ego; No, I won’t!
Unloaded the items. The strawberries were part of the Warden’s treats. I’ll take them down with the other stuff this afternoon.
The burgers, which are the favourites of Carer Richard, and be given to him each day so he doesn’t overeat. Hahaha!
The treats for the Carers were hidden from view, so they will be a surprise when they get them offered to them.

I got back to the computer, and I had an email from Asda. Thinking it was about Wednesday’s order and/or substitutes, I opened it to investigate. There were three substitutions and two not available. ! The order is coming today, not Wednesday!
Now my spirits sank a bit. When I realised I’d made another bloomer. Then…
The intercom went. The DVT Haematology Nurse, Hristina, had arrived. Now, I expect you will think that I either forgot or got the date wrong for this blood-taking session? Me? Well, yes, you’d be right! Hristina is an Angel. I have two Angels, one in the UK and one beauty in the US of A. She is Lisa-Petal, HRH (Her Royal Highness), or Sweetheart, and I’ve never met her. Yet she keeps me going. HRH and Hristina are like each other in many ways. Billum, HRH’s hubby, is my Cyber-Buddy

Gonna have to rush this, it’s getting late, so I’ll type in shorthand – Hehehe! I was looking out of the kitchen window at the rain and the Asda delivery man arrived next.

He was throwing things a great distance to get crushed, broken or misshapen! Got them stored away. I struggled to get everything in the fridge and freezer.

I tried ringing Deana and Julie the wardens, to see if they were in so I could take the treats down to them. They are always busy, but Mondays are horrendous for them. This is why I thought I’d ordered their bits for Wednesday. Tsk! No answers and I had no room to put them in the fridge either, so I went down hoping to find them.

Down in the lift and through the Winwood Court link passage. The office in Winwood’s foyer looked to be closed and locked up.

So I meandered into the Winwood Social and had a nosey around.

Got to the other end, and I turned back
This is on the third photo down.

Looks nice, doesn’t it?
Not many folks around, though.

I caught Julie coming back to the office and gave her the carrier bags. She looked busy, so I didn’t stop for a natter. Much as I wanted to.

Back into Woodthorpe Courts, in the lift lobby and back to flat number 72. I thought it best, with me lining there.
Worked away at this blog for several hours. It was slow-going, error-ridden etc.

Arrived and got the medications sorted. We had a little chinwag of sorts, and she asked about the Sever Frailty Test results. I’d forgotten about the bus fare change again! I’ve a tenner and some change but not enough for the trip. I asked Jodie what I could do, but between us, nothing matured. I asked her to remind me to ask Deana if she could look into the chance of me paying monthly with my card. Too late for tomorrow, but if she could set it up, it’ll be a load off of my mind.

I had a look at the squashed and damaged ready meals I’d bought. I quite fancied the Vegan Chilli-Non-Carne.

But the time was late, and I was tired and frustrated. I ended up having a veg pastie and a few of the potatoes from the slow cooker.
Not the most inspiring of meals. Nor the best tasting. But it did me.
I know that I’m not going to get to sleep again tonight. I’m too uptight at myself for all the mistakes I’ve made; the main one, at this moment, is not sorting out the money to pay for the lift to the Doctor’s for the results of the Severe Frailty Test in the morning.

I’m sorry, but Carer Jodie has just been, and it’s so late. She reminded me about the Doctors in the morning. I think the clout on my head has affected me. Too late for me to sort out the cash for the lift. I’ll see if the Wardens can help me in the morning before I leave.

I really hope I can get some sleep. I need it badly. But Anne Gyna is still going away at me, worry about the money situation, and even the bruise on my head is stinging more now.

No sleep allowed again. I got up and carried on with this blog, then posted it off around 02:00hrs.

Inchcock Today: Friday 14th October 2022

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Who do you think they are?

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

02:40hrs: I rose full of determination, willpower and commitment to get yesterday’s blog updated and posted puff in record time!
CorelDrawing, Photo Recovery, Excel, Word for the Ode, and back to CorelDraw. Posted the blog and finally found time to get the ablutioning done! Oh, better get the Health Checks done first… Two in the green zone again; it’s looking good! Body temperature is still low, though.

I took these three-morning shots from the kitchenette window as I checked for running taps etc.

Got the clobber I needed to change into after the sh… shave & shower. And, off the wet room.

This session was possibly, mayhap, could have been, was in the running for, very possibly, conceivably, in all likelihood, mayhap, ostensibly, putatively,  very likely, one of the best, easiest, least  Accifauxpa and Whoopsiedangleplop affected visits for months! Oh, yes! A delight from start to finish.

The medicationalisationing went well too! I left to get dressed. A  ! Then…
I cracked my right shoulder against the wet room door frame. Even as began to perform, I merely laughed it off.

By gum, the legs looked so good that I took a photo of them. You never know; the Tate or the Nottingham Art galleries may wish to buy a copy? Hehehe!

06:50hrs now. The Carer is likely to be due soon.
I put the mobile, ailment ID’s wristlets, watch, hearing aids batteries and Spare and sunglasses on the Carer’s table. So as not to forget to take them with me. Got the kettle on for a brew of Co-op 99 tea.

Gathered the things needed from the table and then got them in my jacket pockets and the walker-guide basket. Got the items ready for departure.

Then Carried checks. A good job that I’d given myself plenty of time cause they were persistently double-checked.
We all know who to thank for this. (Photo on the right!)

I arrived in the ground floor lobby with plenty of time to spare. The ETA given to me by the lady at Easy-Link was for 10:20hrs,

By 1035hrs, it had not arrived.

So, I moved into the outer lobby, which offered me a better view for me while waiting.

Around 10:40hrs, I spotted the mini-bus coming along Citrus Way, and it turned around at the end of the road and stopped to pick me up.
I realised then; that we could not get to the Riverside complex in time for the start of the meeting session.

There is always something for and at every Diabetes session that goes wrong! I seem fated with this place! The first meeting was the only one I’d arrived at on time. And since then, the other seven meetings have had hassle! Not in order, but; Late arrivals, Meeting dates were being changed mid-way through. So ensured, I got in a mess with changing the dates and asking Deana to change the bookings with Easy-Link; Meaning I went to one session when it wasn’t on – Missed another altogether – Then they changed the starting time of another meeting, and I ended up stuck in Bulwell for an extra hour & a half because the Easy-Link timing was not changed – Spent a fortune on shopping – Got soaking, sodden wet through, carrier bags, shoes and me dripping wet when the bus arrived – There were events, but I can’t remember them all.
Now today’s arrival was going to be late… Guaranteed to be late when we arrived at Basford. Roadworks traffic was at a standstill at the traffic lights. This was not the driver’s fault; even if he had arrived at the flats on time, we’d still have been late.
So, when the man dropped me off at the Riverside complex, the meeting lasted for fifteen minutes. I decided to forget about going into the room and disturbing everyone. Having missed so much already, what was the point? Feeling pretty pee’d-off now! I wonder if things will ever go right for me again? Fool! What are you saying!

I decided to walk slowly around Bulwell until it was time to go back for the pick-up. Another near-fatal more for the bank account! Fancy letting me free amongst shops and having the bank card with me? Humph!+.
During the hour-and-a-half I was meandering and spending money, I saw no less than four police vehicles arrive in the Bulwell Market area. Three were to collect shop-lifters, the other for a fight taking place between two women on Commercial Road.

That is the road that has closed the Boots store, Cheap food shop, record store, Farmfoods shop, hairdressers, Brighthouse and even a charity outlet! And others as well!

Main Street is heading the same way as Commercial Street. This area too has many closed-down businesses.
Sad to this, it used to be a great shopping area, with little things that could not be purchased in the vicinity.
Three banks closed. Cash-Savers, Beer-off, hairdressers, Two pubs, a Travel agent, Hardware stores, and Heron food shops, among them. So sad!
I spotted a Liberty-Global Virgin Media power unit that had been blocked off Main Street. Somehow, I was not surprised in the least to see this.
A little message in there for the boss of Liberty-Global, Mr Fries, who bought Virgin Media and is in the

process of totally destroying its good name, Mr ($23.6m salaried) Fries. The smoke & mirrors, money manipulator, con man, number crunching chap, who I admire so! No wonder the Virgin internet signal is so crap!

Where was I? Oh, yes… I shopped at the B&M store, then went into the Heron shop. Then as I was window shopping, yes, some of them were still trading; I had a massive Blank. When I came back to hear normality, I was in the Bulwell Market area with a bag of birdseed in the walker basket? I took this photo of the spot where I regained the memory (Sort-off). I didn’t actually regain any memory of the lost period as such. For instance, where I got the birdseed from will have to remain a mystery.
I made use of the bird food; by going to the River Leen and feeding the ducks and birds. Had a chinwag with them, of course. Which attracted some funny looks from those nearby… I can’t understand why?

I hobbled, slightly confused, back to the Riverside Complex and sat inside the car park entrance to await the Easy-Link pick-up. We were soon back at the flats, and I managed to cheer the same driver up with an offer of the can or bottle of his choice. (A Gin & Lime can chose, a smile produced, and a thank you, in the knowledge that he will enjoy that tonight)

I got into the flat and took pictures of the view from the kitchenette window. Then put the kettle on the boil while I put away the things from the carrier bags and trolley basket.

I was surprisingly feeling so tired, and the confusion of earlier returned? I could have done without that.

I forgot all about the mug of tea brewing in the kitchen. Worryingly, I had yet another Blank. It’s difficult to explain these. I don’t know how I will explain to the doctor on Tuesday. At the moment, I think it best not to say anything about them. Not that I believe she listens anymore, anyway.
I was actually in the middle of using the Porcelain Throne duties when I returned from my second mental sojourn of the day. Hahaha!

Most outstandingly, when I went to the kitchen, I found a pan with beans in it, the oven on cooking something that looked like pork slices, and that in itself was a shock; indeed, I would not have bought meat? They must be veggie ones? Also, I found two frozen potatoes in front of the microwave. I genuinely thought I’d lost the plot! This made me more determined not to mention it to the Doctor; she’d never believe me!
I’m not sure what I did? How, why, when… What!

The tune played, and Rihanna came in. Nice to see her again; she’s such a pretty young thing. Soon had the medications sorted, and I explained about the new doses and the Pentax medicine-taking to be checked on. I felt this was not going to happen. With so many different Carers, I will forget who I have and haven’t informed. The paper note I left in the Carers folder is nowhere to be seen? We had a little natter, which was as good as medicine is to me. Treat in thanks chosen, and she took the waste bag for me as she left.

I was definitely having visits from Confusion Conrad today. I was not thinking clearly, at all. Yet, not seemingly bothered by the lapses? I felt chirpy, in fact!

I made up the perfectly cooked nosh by adding the spuds to the beans and whatever it was that looked like belly pork but definitely wasn’t tasting like it.

I ate it slowly, occasionally stopping to think what the heck it was that I’d bought. But it tasted grand, all the same. Not the meat substitute, but it was okay for me, just not what I had expected it to taste like. Hehe! I also wondered where I bought it from.
Mayhap a search of the kitchen waste bag will reveal a box; to reveal the contents of the packaging of the product I purchased? Lackaday it was not to be. For there was no such box within. There was a white plastic bag in there that was not before? I took a sniff at the inside of it… Aha! That smelt like the vegan burgers I have? Guilt appeased!

I did some safety checks around the flat and hit the sack. Got up, did some safety checks around the flat and hit the sack… I had to get up later for a wee-wee. But I resisted doing any more checks. I got down in the recliner, and am pleased to report, that I . At last!

It’s been such a strange day.

The VAT Fiddle! Ode & Cartoons

It took seven years, to get sorted. How can the morons expect me to be in debt for VAT, with about 0.6% VATables of the total sales of £900 weekly, and demand £19k from me… well!

Gits!

I woke with a new papule!

So, here are a few photos I managed to take miraculously… Boring noshes, one taken today… after which the Lumix decided to not let me take anymore, just when I was almost getting excited and thinking I’d cracked it! Frustration grows! What have I done it?

Sunday – Josies Nosh

Incidentally, after serving up Josie’s and eating my own lunch, I suddenly felt so tired. I was feeling fine before this. Then had a mind-blank and was incapable of doing virtually anything. Didn’t touch the computer for about 15 hours! Until this morning. Mind you, I woke up feeling back to normal. But decided I had to get to see the Doctor! And waited until Richard came in, hours late. He’d got in a pickle that delayed him. But the lad was really looking worn out and so tired, he did not offer to ring the surgery. He just wanted sleep, something the lad had problems with without having to do a 16hr shift. He’s done his best and asked their head office to ring me or let me know he’d be late.

Bit of cock-up there on my behalf. I did get a phone call but thought it was the spammer man, he had the same Asian accent, and I thought he said he was ringing from Virgin, so rang off! Oh, dear, it must have been Meridian, he said! I felt terrible about that. But it’s no wonder I want someone to phone the surgery, is it? So when Richard had gone, I rang Deana. Explained the problem with last Friday’s mind-blank when I was at Bulwell and another today. Also quickly mentioned the cataract getting worse, as was the hearing. Also, I reminded her that she failed to turn up Friday. Poor gal was ultra-busy, s I expected from the tone of her voice on Freitag. Bless her, she only asked ME – to phone and remind her in the morning! Me! For her to call and ring the surgery for me. Hahaha! Worra life, innit? It never gets any easier. Oh, the photos…

My nosh, before the funny turn.

Jelly and once cream for afters. By gum, I’m gourmet… is that the right word to use?

Today’s lone photo! Of the CorelDraw screen, This was taken five minutes before CorelDraw crashed yet again! Humph! Mind-blanks, Little Inchies Fungal Lesion Bleeding, Cataract Cathy making things hard work, and a devil of a lob to get any help getting things done… that made me think. What am I having for a nosh? I wish I’d bought more of the roast vegetable cottage pie meals now. They were excellent tasting.

No stopping me I ordered some more from Morrison’s via Amazon. If I go on like this, it’ll be a struggle to pay the Carer’s costs. I blame Dementia Doreen, personally. I hate her and Cataract Cathy. Gragknagles! I know what I’ll have. I’ve two vegetable burgers left that I could not see the use-by date of. Richard looked this morning, and I think he said a day left on it, that and some sliced potatoes, mayhap?

Took me hours to get this blog done, but I did enjoy it, apart from CorelDraw letting me down again. Each time does that, it’s another half hour finding out where I saved the last one, then save the new rescued one in the same name.

I shall now start cooking the meal. Done that. Now to get this finished, titivated and posted.

Evening All!
