GM Neut02aWD 180.50.0 02:30hrs: I stirred into mock-life, and realised that just about everything attached to my wobbly-overweight stomach, was shaking to varying degrees. Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley was so bad, she was hitting my elbow on the recliner arm! Shaking Shaun had taken a fancy to the head and neck this morning. Worst perhaps, was Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters failures were making it so difficult to sense anything hard, and getting up to respond to the urgent call to the Porcelain Throne was not easy! (The bonus, was, that there was no Neuropathic Schuhplattler dancing from the right leg)

I imagine that had a video been taken of my perilous hastened-hobble to the wet room, it would have gone viral! Hehehe!

WD 180.50.0A After much faffling-about, I got on my feet, caught my balance, grabbed at the four-pronged walking stick, dropped it, bent down to pick it up and ‘Klunk’ down on my knees I went! Bearing in mind, the imperativeness of my getting to the Throne in time was increasing! Humph! I actually appreciated having the shakes from Nicodemus at the time, because there was hardly any pain at all when Arthur Itis’s patelas hit the floor! That usually come later, when the transmitter nerves start working again. Unnerving getting pains and you can’t see or remember why!

I got in the room, whipped open the dressing gown and down with the PP’s. To my surprise, I had to use a little effort to get the movement started. Things were not so messy this time, and the bleeding from the rear end, a lot less. The recently acquired pungent-pong was still with me, though.

By the time I’d cleaned up and medicated, I realised the shaking had almost gone. Apart from Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley, that is. I think she might have been having a go at me in my sleep, cause the joint and scapula were a little sore.

This got me wondering if the Phlebotomy nurse will manage to get here next week to take the Warfarin blood sample. It’s been three or four weeks since it’s been done now. But, with the loathsome Corona Virus pandemic, I’m not holding out much hope.

I got the camera out to photo the legs condition. Why I’m still doing this with no nurses coming to take them, I don’t know.

6Sat01WD 180.50.0 Anyroad, I spotted a sort of rounded-rectangle impressed on my chest, twixt my man-breasts and my portly pot-belly. I was a tad puzzled as to what could have caused this? I took this snap on the right of it, before taking the pins (legs) photograph.

The image-shape positioned just where mechanical ticker lies underneath. But obviously, the marking was made on the skin, outside. I later searched around for anything this shape in the front room where the recliner is, but I found nothing to match it. Unfathomable, but intriguing all the same.

6Sat04The veins in the pins had started to protrude again. The varicose were not too bad, mind. The spider and superficial phlebitis were showing off somewhat. Where I fell on the knees was just starting to sting as I took this picture! Haha!

6Sat03While in there, I did the teggies and had a shave. And very pleased with how it went, considering that Shirley didn’t ever stop shaking, although she kept altering the rate of power. And I only had two tiny cuts after the session! Smug Mode Adopted!

6Sat02To the kitchen, and put some bits in a carrier, to give to Jenny when she comes. As a thank you for helping me out again.

I got the kettle on, then took a snap of the early morning view. Imbibed the medications and made the brew of Glengettie Gold tea.

I got the computer on and did some much-needed page top graphics. Which cost me a couple of hours, Tsk! Then did the Friday diary updating and got it posted off. Pinterest photos sent off. TFZer Facebooking (Three hours). Made a start on this post, and went on the WordPress Reader section.

During which, the innards started to give me some gip. And quickly got worse, more acute. So, I nipped limpingly to the Porcelain Throne, just in case things were brewing up inside for an evacuation. Oh, off I ran, stick in hand, hoping to arrive in time, to the wet room!

Phwoar! Just in time! The evacuation was quicker and less painful than any has been over the last week! But, there was so much of it! I had to manually assist the system in accepting it, and move it on to the sewers below! Shaking Shirley and Shaun helped me in spilling a lot of the water I was taking in the tub from the sink to WC, and that had to be wiped up afterwards. Washed and medicated the rear-end, and returned to the computer to get on with the Thoughts graphic creating.

Lost a opt of work and don’t know why! I’ll try to remember bits.

Jenny rang she’s coming with the Iceland bits for me, I put her treat bag on the door handle outside. She left the good and rang the tune-bells. Fetched them in. No tomatoes and Golden delicious substituted, at first I thought they might have been Jenny’s order, she told me they were on special offer. Nae fuss, I can eat them alright.

I spent hours doing graphics.

WD 180.50.0 Porcelain Throne visited. Running short on actual cash now, with not being able to order food on site. Morrisons and Iceland both checked, and neither having any delivery slots available.

6Sat24I dug out some chips from the bottom of the freezer. Got a pate and a few tomatoes left to have with them.

Got the nosh sorted. Last of the Piccolo tomatoes, oh, no it’s not. I just found a few more in the cupboard. Some Truffle fries, somewhat ageing beetroots, mushroom pate, onions, Marmite out of date but still tasty cheese medallion, one of the apples that Jenny got for me from her Iceland order, the last fresh orange drink, and a lemon mousse. I used up the last of the Jenny-donated bread with them, and enjoyed an evening feast! Thanks again to Jenny! 7/10 Flavour rating.

I got the washing up done, resisted the ‘none-urge’ to do some handwashing, (HaHa!) and got down in the £300, second-hand, on-its-last-legs, c1968 recliner. Put a Last of the Summer Wine DVD on, and wallowed in nostalgia.

6Sat28The landline flashed, it was the Chemist, telling me the prescriptions would be at the door in a few minutes. I waited five or six minutes, not wanting to make social-contact with the lady, and carefully opened the door, making sure she had gone first and collected the pack from where she had left it for me.

Back to the DVD, and watched another episode of the ‘Summer Wine’. It’s got something this programme, it always did have. A gentleness, no bad language, so relaxing to view, and memory provoking.

As I went for the last Porcelain visit of the day, it dawned on me how the ailments had eased off. Not all of them, of course. Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley and now, Duodenal Donald all helped to stop me getting to sleep very soon.

When I did nod-off, a storm of dreams made sure that recuperation and rest, were not there for the fuddled, fermenting brain. Shame!

GM GYWD 0.30.0B 01:35hrs: By, Jiminee, was I shaking when I woke up? Yes, I was! Not shivering. Just like like Johnny Kidd & the Pirates in 1960, I was certainly, ♫ Shaking all over ♫. Not half! Only this was a version played by “Inchcock & the Ailments!” Hahaha! The only thing not shaking was the right leg. The knee yes, but that is part of the Peripheral Neuropathy and Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters dying. And I dropped the walking stick when I picked it up, Nicodemus’s work again! Nowt to be done about that. Shaking Shoulder-Shirley was busily bashing away at the right scapula and joint. Shaker-Shaun was encouraging the head and neck to jolt about occasionally, too.

Saccades-Sandra had the eyes struggling to focus. Trotsky Terence was already building up the borborygmus in preparation no doubt, for some more rather violent fluffer-doodles and eructations, ready for a rush to Porcelain Throne.

But on the bright side, there were no signs of any sudden involuntary Neuropathic Schuhplattler drop-something and flail-about dancing… I’m not sure why I said that, cause there is never any warning. I’m losing it early today, ain’t I? These right-leg dances can be dangerous, I’ve had a couple of trips to the hospital this year.

Mind you, no good going now, is it? Coronavirus and all that. No point in pressing the alarm wristlet now, if it does kick-off, and has me on the floor. I’m not cheering myself up at all! Haha!

When I had got to my feet, the rumbling and grumbling from the innards indicated a quick move towards the wet room would be an expedient move!

4Thu08Considering how I was rushing so as not to get caught out again at the Throne when I spotted the missing box of the Korean seaweed crispies, delivered last night. (They are still there now, I forgot all about them, being hidden behind the chairs, Tsk!)

WD 0.30.0B I considered myself to be a little under the weather with the dizzies etc., but realised after the Throne session, the dizzies weren’t too bad after all!

WD 0.30.0B Gawd, as soon as the ascending colon had rid itself of the material, I was double-up with lower abdomen pains! In a minute or so, they transmuted to just aching nagging surging pains that were well-bearable, though?

WD 0.30.0B Then the cleaning up and medicating of Harolds bleeding haemorrhoids had to be done, during which it became obvious that Little Inchies fungal lesion had been leaking a little too!  had to be tended to as well. That was painful!

WD 0.30.0bA Getting the new PPs from the bag, a surge from Dizzy Dennis had me fall towards the wall, I ended up knocking some things off of the floor cabinets. Unfortunately, a glass bottle of the antacid medicine was one of the things that went over…and landed on the foot and toe that I stubbed yesterday!

Lie01b 0.51.0 Of course, it didn’t bother me in the slightest! I dried the tears, swore a little, and went the kitchen, to take the morning medications with an extra pain-killer, well two, actually!

WDP 11fLWD 0.30.0bA The farcical filling of the kettle was caused by Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley, luckily it was cold water that I ended up spilling over myself and the floor. I got the kettle on the boil, took the medications, made the brew, and took a quiet moment for contemplation.

Should I bother about anything today? It’s been such a crappy start already. If owt else goes wrong, can I cope? As I was pondering, I got the ready-made ear-olive-oil and was putting some in…

WD 0.30.0bA The top came off of the tiny plastic bottle! Oil, then ran down my body, jammie bottoms and I don’t quite know-how, but some ended up on the floor…

WDP11LWD 0.30.0bA And I did a whoopsie on it! I managed to stop myself going over, though, but now I have a ricked back to go with all the other ailments to contend with! And a floor to yet again clean! Which set of Back-Pain Brenda and Anne Gyna having a go at me! I’ve always tried to do good and what is morally right, but that doesn’t seem to have me very far!

Lie01b 0.51.0 I didn’t feel sorry for myself, though… Well, yes I did! How can so many things happen all at once? I mean, I know I have not been one of the luckiest people all my life, fair enough, so naturally, I can cope with more than others with pain and botherwise; but my limit is being reached!

Then I started to feel guilty for thinking this way. The past few weeks have seen some wonderful help given me from people.

  • The Health centre receptionist, offering to fetch me a toilet roll.
  • Jenny leaving me a bag of fodder, then adding some things for me to her Iceland order!
  • Angela Gould ringing and sending me a pint of milk!
  • The lady at Sainsbury’s last week, just two small packs of toilet rolls left on the shelves, and I couldn’t reach for one, too high. The woman asked if I wanted one, and got them down and handed me one! Not many shoppers would do that nowadays!

Thank you all!

It was almost as if I had shamed the ailments! Well, apart from Dizzy Dennis, Anne Gyna, Saccades Sandra, Trotsky Terence and Shaking Shaun, I was getting some relief from the others. Then I had to return to the Porcelain Throne. Another messy, bloody performance. But I did feel better in myself for a while.

I got on with u[dating the Thursday post, not a lot to do, few photos and Shaking-Should-Shirley was easing off more, so it didn’t take too long. Just as well, the time was flashing by.

5Fri09I got the vegetables in the crockpot, seasoned, gravied (put some hickory in it), and cooking on a low setting.

Then I went on the Pinterest with some snaps, twenty-minutes max. On the WordPress Reader, an hour or so. Then the TFZer Facebooking, I got carried away there, three hours at least! After which, I had to do some page top graphics for tomorrow’s blog.

Oh, dearie me, off to the Porcelain Throne again, Trotsky Terence is busy this morning – come think of, it’s afternoon already!

Then made a start on this post.

5Fri08I tried to get an order on Morrison.s and Iceland again, but no luck.

Back to CorelDrawing.

Shirley and Shaun kicked off again, and I gave up on the computing all together and got an early nosh prepared, but made a few messes along the way with all the shaking.

WD 0.30.0B On another Porcelain visit, same again, but less product this time. I sat there, pondering over my condition. Just the shaking and dizzies that were bothering today, but they were both persistent in unsettling and discountenancing me! They were very good at it, too. Tsk!

5Fri10I got the vegetable stew sorted out, and despite my ailments, I enjoyed it a lot. Talking of lot, there was a lot of it as well, but I ate it all!

Spot-on with the seasoning this time. A flavour-rating of 8/10 given.

WDP 11fL Getting the washing up done afterwards was so frustrating! I reckon I dropped or spilt more things than I didn’t!

A smidge of despondency dawned, as the fatigue crept in. I turned on the telly, but nothing was sinking in, a vast vagueness overcame me. As if I’d gone into a sort of turn-off mode? Even the regular Thought Storms didn’t bother me, for interest in anything was at a premium… that was until I had to get up and visit the Throne, yet again!

At least this session was not so messy and bloody.

I washed and got settled back in the recliner, and waited on automatic pilot for sleep to come…

GM07RWD 150.0.100 01:45hrs: I stirred into an ersatz version of life; feeling otiose, vague, and in need of a non-alcoholic potation. As I removed my horrendously ever-growing stomach with thin arms and legs attached to it, from the £300, second-hand, c1968 recliner, the innards gurgled, I started coughing, and wind passed involuntarily from the rear end!

The thoughts of a brew of tea came second to the need for the Porcelain Throne. Off to the wet-room, the walking stick had never been used quickerer! In, PPs down, settled and… Wind! Nothing but noisy and smelly fluffer-doodling! Past experiences made me wait there, in case of sudden movements catching me out. A go at the crosswords, no clues solved, and no action actuated! Had a wash, changed PPs. Off to get the kettle on, as if the tea was a drug to me?

4Thu01I got the kettle on, took the medications, again dropping the Omeprazole capsule, and made a brew of Glengettie. Into the computer desk, and had a look at the two-page, side-effects of the Omeprazole’s leaflet. But there was so much of it, I gave up.

Got the computer on, and went on Word Press Reader first. Then tackled updating the Wednesday post.

WDP 2019a2WD 150.0.100 The almost immediate need to go back to the Throne was responded to as fast as I could manage it. Which was a good thing too! Because this time the innards-controlled evacuation started the moment I’d got seated. Eurgh! Splosh, splash, quirt, splatter! And with an aroma, that if bottled, could have been used as an effective nerve-gas by the military!

The stomach churned and ached after the release, for a long time. I cleaned up once more, me and the WC. Then had a few good-sized guzzles of the Silica gel and Dimethicone medicine, thinking it might calm down the borborygmus eruptions. (It didn’t) Shame, the pong of the repeated intestinal gas escapes, is filling the flat already, and it continues. As does the rumbling, grumbling innards and eructations, in between my coughing and sneezing. Sounds terrible, doesn’t it? It is! Gruelling-Gromble-Garblisations!

When I got the post updated and sent off, I went on Pinterest, then TFZer Facebooking. Then did some searching to find out about the two outstanding Amazon orders. A good job that I’m home-isolated innit!

4Thu02

4Thu03I tried for the ninth time in 24hrs, to get a Morrison Grocery order done. Hehehe! What a hopeful, old, gullible, senile idiot, I am!

I got some graphics done. Started this blog off. The gut still exploding, but the coughing had eased off, and one of the sneezes was probably heard by Sandra Lentz and Tim Price in America! As for the accompanying wind… Phwoar!

WD 150.0.100 I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea and had to shoot off to the Throne again. Oh, dear! Another messy, miasmic smelling session. I keep washing my hands in between and on Throne visits, and I must have the cleaning mitts in the place!

I opened a can of baked beans and put some hickory marinade in them, a long soak into for later.

4Thu04I did a try at getting some food from Ocado. Another negative, no slots available!

I went on Facebook for a while, then on to CorelDraw for a creating graphic session.

After about a couple of hours,  the door chimes rang out with their ♫I only want to be with you!♫. I thought it might be Amazon with the ear inserts or seaweed packs. I got my onerously large body to the front door. There, just outside on the floor, was a bag of food that had been left for me!

I’ve no idea who had donated the fodder for me, but it was a beautiful gesture. I unloaded the pack, full of appreciation.

4Thu06The cobs will be perfect with my beans later! Onions and carrots, I’ve got some parsnips in reasonable nick, in the fridge. Tomorrow’s meal sorted thanks to the donator. That frees me from the worry of having to go out today! Bless whoever it was! Canned mushy peas, baked beans, sardines. A yoghourt that unfortunately has the lethal to me cranberries in it. Milk, lemonade, tomato puree, and some white bread. So kind of them! Oh, and a can of orange pieces, a perfect after for me!

I was putting the stuff away, and the landline rang and flashed. It was from Jenny. She was the angel who left the food for me, and perfect timing it was, may her foibles ferment with festive functions frequently! ♥ After the current scare, of course. Thanks again, Jenny! I feel humbled!

Made a brew in celebration, and got back to the graphicalisationing. It was slow going, and I had to leave it again, for yet another Porcelain Throne mission! The same evacuation mode as the last one. By gum, I’ve got a sore bottom now! Dangwangling Dangwangles!

After much tenderising and medicating, I returned and, oh, so painfully sat in the computer chair. I could do with another of the cushion-rings. Tsk!

The Dizzy Dennis and Shaking Shaun visits got too much for me. I had to stop computerising and while putting everything away, had to pay another Porcelain Throne visit, a visitational record today I think. Exactly the same activity. Messiness and uncomfortableness. I took an anti-Diarrhorea-Duncan capsule. Washed medicated and had to just sit quietly for a while.

Within seconds I’d drifted into a dream-filled sleep, in which I knew I was sleeping and just seemed to be enjoying the mangled,  foozled dreams.

JennyThe landline flashed and sounded, I woke and fumbled my way to the phone. It was Jenny, helping me out again! She had miraculously got through to Iceland to give an order. And, as is her natural, considerate, obliging characteristics, she asked if I would like anything adding to the order for Saturday. If I email her back with anything, she will add it to her order. Not many folks would think of that, but Jenny is special.

I was still a tad confused at being woken up. And am not sure if owt else was said, and I sat down again for a few minutes and wrote down some items, then nodded off again.

WD 150.0.100 I woke with a start. With a new headache above the eyes. Accompanied by Shaking Shaun, and Shaking Shoulder-Shirley having a go at me. To round things off, Flatulating Frank was rampant and persistent. Off to the Throne again! At least this session was not as messy.

4Thu19fMy body just wanted to sleep, but I wanted to get back to Jenny and thank her and give a little list of items she had kindly asked for me to add to her Iceland delivery. Her delivery is for late on Friday, and Jen’ politely said she would not wake-me then, and bring it to me until Saturday morning. The lady is so thoughtful! So, a treat of braised beef in onion gravy cook-in-the-bag again for me this weekend after all! Bless yers, Jenny!

I got the computer on again. And sent the email. Then got the meal prepared. I had to take care in doing so, cause Shirley and Shaun were in attendance still.

4Thu07The hickory seasoned beans with the last of the tomatoes, and triple-fried chips, and the Jenny-supplied bread, were smashing!

A taste-rating of 8.5/10! The white slice and cobs did an excellent job of soaking up the sauce! Hehehe!

I washed the dish and cutlery and got the handwashing in Woolite soaking in the bowl. I was too tired to do it tonight. It had been an emotional, draining, ‘shaking-all-over’ day, the Trots, and the fatigue and lack of proper sleep had affected me worse than usual.

I got back down in the £300, second-hand, dilapidated, c1968, rickety recliner. The eyes began to droop, and a particular sort of, well, almost joy came over me, as I realised I might get some sleep in without waiting for hours. I think Flatulent Frank agreed, cause he kept passing little comments! Hahaha!

WD 150.0.100 As a blissful Morpheus was coming over me, and Dogwangles! I’d not taken the evening medications! With tremendous and grumpy petulant reluctance, I heaved my stomach-dominated torso from the recliner. And made my way to the kitchen’s medicines drawer…

WDP Dec 26bWD 150.0.100wd 150.0.100A As slowly as I was hobbling, and as carefully as I could, I still managed to give myself a toe-stubbing on the corner of the kitchen door! I held onto the door frame for extra support, closed my eye, and withheld the urge to cry out loud and swear! A few moments later, after a Thought Storm that was partly incomprehensible, but included niggling, depressive thoughts about my bad luck and stupidity, I got the medications from the drawer and imbibed them with a drink of spring water.

WD 150.0.100 It took me a lot longer to get back to the chair than it did to get to the kitchen. The throbbing toe, headache above the eyes and Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley joined forces to stop me getting to sleep for along time. But fatigue was getting the upper hand slowly but surely. Sweet Morpheous blessedly arrived!

WD 150.0.100 But not for long! Tsk! The sounds of ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out from the door chimes. Reluctantly, I freed my weighty lump of a body from the recliner, the toe didn’t half sting, as I fumbled my way to the door. It was Josie ringing, to tell me I’d had a parcel left outside the door. Bless her! I’m sure we chatted, I seem to remember telling her it was the seaweed snacks, and she would have some on her Sunday meal and thanking her for letting me know.

I was done-in now, mentally. How I got back to the recliner, and where I put the seaweed box, will have to be investigated in the morning.

WD 150.0.100 Never have I been so tired! But I did get down and asleep, I know this because later, ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ rang out from the door chimes, and woke me again! Argh! There was no one there when I got to the door!

Crying out loud was an option that came to mind… but I didn’t!

GM brownR.02:35hrs: I awoke, still feeling a tad groggy and tired. I waited for the brain to engage gear and the fog to lift from the grey cells, and things became mentally at least, active! By the time I’d had an enthusiastic and satisfying itch around my massive, wobbly, overweight midriff, I recognised the urgent need to get myself to the wet room! So I did!

(As I now know, this was but the first trip of many to be made today! Oh, dearie me, yes!) The flow, yet again, began of the innards own accord. (It was close, but I made it in time, this time!) The evacuation contents reminded me of Brussel sprout sized clumps, that broke apart as they landed in the bowl with a series of splashes! Over quickly, no pain really at all! Not messy, and only the tiniest spot of bleeding. Even Little Inchies fungal lesion was leaking, but it was so minuscule. I distinctly recall, (and that in itself is a rarity!), thinking to myself as I cleaned things up; “Well if they are all like this, I’ll have no problems!” An acceptable session!

To the kitchen, and thought about the wonderful, kind help I’m received, prompted when I got the bottle of milk from the fridge, that Oberstgruppenfhureress Angela had arranged and one of the ladies had delivered to my door for me last night! Made a brew of Thompsons Punja tea.

WDPH01L4I few moments of Mind-Thoughts blasting: WD 0.40.0. Spirits dipped a tad when I went to get the medications out of the draw. I am now taking the Warfarin doses blind. No blood test for weeks now, so obviously, I have no idea what amount I should be taking! At least if I am imbibing too much, it might just be cutting myself and bleeding to death, might happen if Little Inchies fungal lesion flows. Too little Warfarin, and a stroke, seizure or heart attack. But, of course, that’s providing that the Coronavirus doesn’t get me first! Or Duodenal Donald doesn’t burst open. Maybe Anne Gyna’ll get me? Or the mechanical ticker battery will run out? Or the blood cancer starts again? Perhaps, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters will go into complete failure? Or, the Peripheral Neuropathy may start an involuntary right leg Schuhplattler dance, when I’m crossing the road, and I’ll get squashed by a lorry? No, no, no! With the lock-down I’ll not be outside will I, and will there be any lorries on the road by then anyway? Ah, the part bullet still inside me might suddenly rust? Nae, its been no bother for donkey’s years. It’s a game innit? Hahaha! You’ve got to laugh!

3Wed06By the time I’d stopped the Mind-Blast, the tea had gone cold. So I took the medications to the computer desk, oiled the ear-holes, creamed certain areas in need of the same, and made another brew. I noticed that I had acquired what looked like a scorch mark on my right hand? No doubt during a period of a Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitter failure and the nerves did not inform the brain.

Off to the computerisationing. I had to do a graphic, I had no choice in the matter, this idea came into my mind for a funny Coronavirus page top, I just had to get it completed while it was fresh in my mind.

Then, onto updating the Tuesday blog, but I had a look on the Emails first.

3Wed04Fair enough!

3Wed05I tried again to read my notes to use on the phone call with the help, from Angela.

But it was guesswork. Eventually, and it took me an aeon, I got the updating finished. Put some pics on Pinterest. Emailed the link to my vast number of followers, both of them!

3Wed01WD 0.40.0. Then, I realised I had still got the medications on the tray, not taken. Schmuck! I got them gathered but dropped a yellow Lansoprazole. It took me ages to find it (Well. I thought I had!) The struggle to get down once I did spot it, I used the new picker-upperer (Thanks again, Jenny!) and retrieved it. Struggled to get back up again, and then realised it was not a tablet at all, it was part of potato-chip! Most likely from one of my nocturnal-nibbling sessions). Which meant I had to continue searching for the capsule. It took me so long to find it, I was on the verge of giving up when I did. It must have bounced when I dropped it, cause it was about six foot away on the carpet near the balcony windows! The picker-upperer did its job again. The capsule was washed, and then, taken along with the other medications. What a faffling _art about!

WDP 08L02bEmbarrassing WD 0.40.0.WD 0.40.0. a Odd that I should use the term I did there. Because that is the very thing that emitted from my innards moments later, a little sort of silent involuntary Plump, felt more than heard! I hastened to the Porcelain Throne, but didn’t make it in time! The evacuation again was under the control of my innards. Runny, messy, and smelly. Yet, still, the movement was painful? Had a shower and cleaned up, new PP’s on, and the trousers were thrown away, disinfected thoroughly, in a black bag on there own! Now my spirits sank, shame grew, and a despondency developed!

Eventually, I made a start on this blog. But with the indelicate, humiliating events, my heart had lost some pep. I pondered on what I had eaten that might have caused this worrisome trouble. I’m sure I’d taken nothing out-of-date food in? Ah, well! I was confident that this that diarrhorea is not on the Coronavirus symptoms list. I’ll check later. Diarrhorea Duncan came on suddenly. Things have gone from solid and reluctant, to the opposite in a matter of hours! Mmm!

I was taking some photographs from the window, and the first one was shot. With the aid of the step-ladder and a deal of nervousness (Hehe!), was down below the window on Chestnut Walk. Compared to the last such a shot (right), last weekend, there were more cars and fewer people in view!

3Wed14WD 0.40.0. I tried again at getting to book an order for Morrisons. But, although I was initially so pleased to be able to get on the site, there were no delivery slots available.

Mysteriously, they told me my trolley is currently £26.90 and contains 19 items?

3Wed14aI then read about Morrisons supplying £35 food boxes, £10 delivery. But could not get to find them on the site, of course.

WD 0.40.0. One more into the breach, I tried for Iceland. Same thing. no slots available. It’s all frustrating and confusing… No, it’s not! Sorry.

WD 0.40.0. From nowhere, disorientation and dizziness fell on me. I felt proper poorly. Then a coughing sneezing session. The guts rumbled, and hobbled off for the third trip to the Porcelain throne! By gum, Trotski Terence had taken over the tummy controls now! Eurgh! Most uncomfortable experience. Cleaning up was another big bother for me.

3Wed35I gave up computing and any thoughts of mind control as the head spun.

Feeling almost exhausted, not able to take any interest in cooking or preparing fodder, I made a meal of sliced Piccolo tomatoes and the last but one Cox’s apple. I found a bag of crisps and had them with the so-called meal. No desire, hunger or need for more.

Computing left in a right state, I just stripped off, and got down in the recliner, put the TV on, and slowly nibbled at the food. The stomach-grinding began to ease off a little. But I felt so tired. The regular dropping off and waking a few minutes later went on for hours. I had no inclination to do or think about anything much when I was awake.

WD 0.40.0. Then the shakes put an end to any thoughts of getting to sleep for hours. I thought the recliner would fall apart, or I might shake myself off of the chair! Hehehe!

What a pickle!

TTFNski, all the bestest each!

GM03 0.51.003:10hrs: Woke late, but that’s because I had another six-hours worth of blissful, glorious sleep. Great! Laying there a moment, I wriggled and appreciated that Arthur Itis, Back-Pain-Brenda and Shaking Shoulder Shirley, were all giving me a welcome break from hassle! Even Greaterer! My only ailments in a bad mood, were Duodenal Donald, Anne Gyna and Shaking Shaun. Well copeable with, I think. Hope it stays this way.

I received the usual indications from the innards, (rumbling, grumbling) that a visit to the Porcelain Throne was needed. I rose up on my feet, grabbed the stick, and wobbled off to the wet room, with minimal effort or pain! Great, greaterer!

1Mon01This session was much improved on earlier ones, less painful, more comfortable to exert and far less painful! The only thing that spoilt my elation was the amount of bleeding from the rear. There were a few spots of haemoglobin from Little Inchies fungal lesion, but nowt to fret about. And the pins looked a little odd to me, but blown if I know why or what made me think this? The Clopidogrel lumps and papules, as well as the veins, looked calm enough. The knees in good form. I’m a little annoyed at myself for not knowing what it is that seems so different to me. (Possibly Saccades-Sandra playing up, I’ll find out when I get on the computer later). I washed and did a bit of medicating and went to the kitchen.

As I filled the kettle, it did become evident that Saccades-Sandra was playing up, as I struggled to get the connector base and kettle lined-up. Got the medications out, digested them, olive-oiled the ears, Saccades eye spray applied, and made the brew of Thompsons Punjana. Then got the

1Mon04WD 0.40.0 The morning sun was casting shadows from behind the flats, and I took this shot, but it took three tries, as the harrowing Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters started failing, to get an unsmudged picture. I can’t find any pattern in these nerve-end dyings; sometimes it is persistent, others for a few moments. There are no warning signs; it has caused me many an Accifauxpa and Whoopsiedangleplop, but not this time. Hehehe!

1Mon03I got the yellow Clinical Sharps Waste box and Enoxaparin pre-filled syringe needle and grabbed a lump of fleshy-stomach, (no problems, I have masses of flubber hanging off around my wobbly midriff!). I injected the anticoagulant. I must remember to give the box to the nurse in the morning! I started and continued to cough a bit persistently afterwards, but this is a regular occurrence, Dr Vindla says not to worry about, so I don’t. I took a swig of the ‘Tickly Cough’ medicine.

A funny thing about doing these injections, sticking and pushing it in, and I smell nothing, but there is always a lingering sweet smell afterwards for a few hours. It’s lovely; I think that someone should make a perfume out of it! Haha!

1Mon02I got the computer going and checked the emails first. The daily Coronvirus (Covid-19) update page gave this graph: Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director for  Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Sadly, we can confirm that a further two patients who were being cared for at our hospitals have died. Both patients had tested positive for Covid-19. There are now 34 patients diagnosed with the virus in the city, up from 22, while figures for the county have increased to 60, a jump from 45 on Saturday, March 21.

WD 0.40.0 Well, that did nothing to cheer me up! I got on with updating the Sunday post, which should have been a quicker task, with so few photos, with me not getting out and about. But, ended up with me struggling against the Nicodemus Neurotransmitters. They came into action and failed again repeatedly. After finally getting it finished and posted off, I needed to do some page top graphics on CorelDraw. Another few hours lost, but I do so enjoy creating them.

1Mon04aI’ve not mentioned them yet, but the wee-wees were frequent and all of the VSHLP (Very Short-Hosepipe-Like-Painful) variety.

I took a breather and got the mushrooms in the crock-pot. Sea salt and balsamic vinegar seasonings added. Left it on a low-setting, and didn’t cut-up or slice the fungi.

WD 0.40.0 Checked the ever-changing state of the Amazon deliveries. They were all originally next day deliveries that were but put back. Well, it’s to be expected, Amazon is not protected from the effects of staff, product shortages and other Coronvirus limitations being imposed! Fingers crossed the potatoes might get here tomorrow? He says, so full of expectancy, hope and not listening to his EQ, who warned him weeks ago! To be fair, joking aside, it must be a horrendously difficult task for them nowadays!

1Mon05b

But, Government instructions to Self-Isolate or not, I will need bread, milk and fresh fruit and vegetables soon. I’ll have to go out! Tomorrow, I have an order coming, I hope, from Morrisons, but if its anything like the last one, there will not be much of it. Will the phlebotomy angel-nurse be calling tomorrow or not? Life is very disconcerting now, isn’t it?

I then went on CorelDraw again, to try my best to get some more graphics done ahead of the day. Still, fingers crossed! Back online soon…

1Mon08WD 0.40.0 I’m back! I went to check on the veg in the crockpot. Oh, dearie me and Bugglethumbles! I left the slow-cooker on a high setting! The seasoned water splattered out all over the place. Never mind, at least it was an easy accifauxpas to clean up this time! So, no moaning. Hehe!

I finished doing the graphics a few hours later. Having made just three of them. Tsk! But they were complicated ones for page top headers, so I hope they encourage a laugh or a few smiles when I use them. One was used as a page top for this blog; it took me the longest of them to get together. But I thought it came out alright.

wd 0.40.0a The computer was closed down, and off I went to the wet room and Porcelain Throne. Two visits today? This one was a nasty affair. Very painful, messy, and I clouted my knee on the floor cabinet corner. My language is getting worse this week! Got a clean-up and creamed certain areas in need of the same.

1Mon07I got the nosh carefully prepared. Tons of washing up to do afterwards, with for some reason seemed a right bind to me? Anyroad, the out-of-sell-by-date potato curl things, despite being stuck together like glue, came out tasty. I think the packet had been thawed and refrozen. The well-overcooked mushrooms, peas and leeks, were gorgeous! Mini tomatoes, they were keeping well, considering I bought them over a week ago! The pate and last of the sausages, wonderfully flavourful. A taste-rating of 8/10!

As I was washing the pots up, the ♫ I only want to be with you ♫ chimed from the door chimes. It was Josie returning the Sunday lunch paraphernalia. She said she enjoyed it and asked about where I’d got the Rhubarb & Custard yoghourts from. I inquired if she liked the anchovies, and she did. I handed her the other yoghourts from the fridge, and she gave me a pack of mini Victoria cakes. Which I should have told her are off my permitted diet list now – but I weakened and took them, with guilt and certain self-loathing in the air. Naughty Inchcock! We had a few words nattering, and she departed, bless her cotton socks. This certainly cheered me up, her liking the nosh.

WD 0.40.0 I got the computer back on, to do an Iceland order. But, there were no slots available! Grobblesnotkins! Closed it down, and got the TV on.

Tried to get some kip, but even the many adverts om the box failed to help me get to sleep!

I spat, curse silently, and got up again and did a some work on CorelDraw. No sooner had I started it than the weariness and fatigue missing earlier fell on me. This isolationing thing is getting to me now! Humph!

Off went the computer again, and I got back in the grotty-beige-coloured broken by xyrophobia-suffering Brother-in-Law Pete, recliner… Zzzz!

GM 100.100.150RWD 100.100.150 01:45hrs: Another ever-waking and nodding-off night! I’m getting frustrated with this nocturnal habit I seem to have caught! I waited for the mangled thoughts that were actively teasing my grey-cells, to dissipate. I looked around me and noticed that the curtains were open and partly hanging off the now broken rail, onto the floor. It got worse!

WD 100.100.150 Signs of Nocturnal-Nibbling were spotted! An empty Marmite crisp packet and some unidentifiable crumbs were spread over my overly-protruding stomach, with its partly deflated spare tyre hanging loose. Also, on the chair and even squashed down the nails of two fingers?

I pondered a while further. What’s been going on? I must have been noctambulating overnight? But I had no memories of doing so? Am I going potty? For some reason, the Coronavirus came to mind, and I began thinking back to my younger days. When everyone was assured, the human race would go on forever. I certainly didn’t expect to that in my lifetime, I’d see the end of mankind or the world. But it’s a possibility after all. Or is it? That feeling you get when you’re a young whippersnapper, that you are Special in a world of billions, a chosen. Well, maybe one to be on hand for the; end of time, end of days, last days, final days, doomsday, Armageddon, the apocalypse, or eschaton! Ah, Well, if it’s to be. So be it!

My ruminative mind-wandering came to an abrupt end, as I involuntarily passed wind, and moved to free my body-mass from the £300, second-hand none-working recliner.

WD 100.100.150 I put my hand down the inside of the seat, to gain some momentum in getting my overweight body freed so I could stand. I squashed the finger blisters from last nights scolding with the tea. This brought forth some Profane and socially offensive language, muttered with some force from my lips, but I kept control of the volume and did not shout out loud. I don’t think. (As I did last night when I had the Accifauxpas!)

WD 100.100.150 I got to the Throne in time and sat there waiting for it, as it has been doing recently, to start of its own accord, but it didn’t. Much painful and urgent encouragement was given, I could feel the blood flowing down my legs as the evacuation started. But it was soon over with, and then the painful cleaning up and medicationalisationing had to be done. I put some cream on the fingers afterwards.

Back to the c1968, cringingly grottily-beige coloured recliner, and cleaned up what I could without using the hoover, too early for the noise yet. As for the curtains, I was not well enough to handle the steps however, after the bending to get the crumbs up. The curtains remain hanging loose on the floor at 08:40hrs (and beyond). Guilt-Mode-Engaged!

5Fri02I opened the door to the kitchen, with anticipations of finding more signs and indications of my evening rummaging around. But it looked the same as I had left it, which was nice to see! I took a photo from the unwanted, unliked, light & view-blocking thick-framed kitchen window.

Took the medications with spring water, made a brew, oh, so carefully, I can tell yer! But, whenever the Shuddering Shaun, Dizzy Dennis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley, or Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters fail, they do it without warning. So, I can only blame myself for the Accifauxpas last evening, I was holding the cup in my right hand at the time! But, then again, if I’d used the left hand to hold the mug, I’d have had to use the right for getting the milk out of the fridge. Which wouldn’t have burnt me, but would have been a lot harder to clean up if I’d dropped that instead of the brew. My mind’s going round in circle here. The simple truth is, as the Doctors and nurses have told me, there is nothing they can do to mend dying nerve-ends. So why am I blaming myself now? Anyway, everyday activities are getting either too painful or almost impossible to do. I waffled self-pityingly on again there, didn’t I? Sorry!

Time was going, and I knew that the weariness and fatigue would arrive and put an early stop to my activities and concentration again! So I pressed on with the updating of yesterdays blog as quickly as I could. (I bet there’s no end of mistakes I’ve made in it, Tsk!)

I had a drink of the spring water with a drop of orange cordial added to it, had the first proper wee-wee of the day (Yes, about four hours without one!) It turned out to be of a different variety than I had for yonks. A TTNWTE (Torrential-Throughout-Not-Wanting-To-End) mode! This encouraged me to get the GPEWWB (Grey-Plastic-Emergency-Wee-Wee-Bucket) out and disinfected, and placed near the computer, ready for further use!

Back on the computerisationing. I posted off the blog. Went on Pinterest. Then the WordPress reader. The TFZer Facebooking next, I spent hours on it, and enjoyed it, too!

I think Herbert is building his models this morning. (Clunk, Bang occasionally) But this is a good thing! I was getting withdrawal symptoms for the lack of banging, knocking and drilling, now the upgrading work has been suspended. Hahaha!

6Sat05I went on CorelDraw, determined to get some much-needed graphics and page tops done. Within five minutes, I needed the Porcelain Throne again.

WD 100.100.150 I really wish you could have seen my farcical performance in getting there on time! I did so relatively easily, but as I was settling down on the pot, so’s to speak, the Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance in the right legs started! It was a sharp session, but short in duration. Still enough for me to stub the toe in the process of trying to control it.

But, on the plus side, I managed to contain things long enough to get back on the Throne before the movement began. Only just, but, Phew! The good luck returns! While in there, I olive-oiled the ear canals, and had a check on the pins.

5Fri05By gosh, they had returned to the insipid, pale, anaemic-looking state again. But the veins and clopidogrel marks were a great deal calmer.

WD 100.100.150 I was feeling a touch of almost nonchalant at how I had coped the involuntary dance routine this time. And going out through the door, I clouted my elbow on the frame. Huh!

5Fri04I got the vegetables in the saucepan, trying a seasoning with an unknown taste. The 5% vinegar, and a drop of balsamic vinegar, oh, and some sea-salt.I tried to keep having a check on it. Parsnips, turnips, sugar snap peas and mushrooms. I hope to have them with some chips and franks, later.

WD 100.100.150 Back to the computer and tried to get some page tops done. However, the concentration went when Saccades Sandra gave me a few funny turns.

5Fri01So, I went to make a brew of Glengettie, in the larger mug. Back again to try CorelDrawing. No a lot of success.

I got the sweet potato fries in the oven cooking.

WD 100.100.150 No good, Saccades Sandra and Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley are both having a go at me, and I think the lack of sleep, doesn’t help. I’m turning into a right little insomniac.

5Fri03The nosh was close to being ready to serve up. I nipped to have a quick wash, I didn’t want to mis if the man arrived with the toilet rolls! The legs seemed in good conditon again. Talk about ever changing and Jeckle & Hyde!

I got the meal presented on the tray.

5Fri08Settled in the £300 second-hand, c1968 rickety recliner with the nosn on the tray, and I have to claim that it was a cracking tasty treat! Everything was good, tastewise, and no potatoes or bread again. This new-found grit and determination to stick to a diet seems to be working! The vegetables were super! Everything else was decent enough! A flavour Rating of 8.3/10 given.

After feasting and getting the things washed up, my most vital to me anyway, task, was not to fall asleep and miss the toilet rolls coming!

5Fri09I checked on emails, and they due up to 22:00hrs tonight. I tuened off the computer, and got the telly on, making sure the programmes I watched had sub-titles on them. I took the top picture on the right, from the unwanted, unliked, light & view-blocking, thick-framed, new kitchen windows. I may have nodded off a few times, but I’m sure it was only for a few seconds. Then got up to check that any rolls had not been left outsuide the door, nope!

I took the second bottom photo, and the clouds look the same lay-out to me? Why, I ask, after such a length of time?

Back to the rusty old recliner, and started to watch a Law & Order episode, and the door chime rang out! I hastily fumbled by way out of the chair and to the door. There on the floor was the pack of toilet rolls, and the delivery driver was walking hastily away out of the foyer door. I can’t blame him, he is a block of flats, filled with the most at-risk elderley all around him (Coronavirus).

5Fri007cI got the pack inside, and found they were the second lot I had ordered. Cheaper, but much thinner and narrower than the Tork ones I’d ordered first. I remembered at the time, my EQ telling me they (the Topk ones) will never arrive. Looks like he was right again! Still, on the bright side, I do not need bother over struggling to get toilet tissue for a while. And, if anyone in the flats runs out, I can spare one to help them out now! That’s a good thing!

I put them in the corned behind the seats, and managed to stay awake long enough to change into the night attire, and got seated again.

I was asleep almost instantly! (It was gone midnight by then!)

GM 200L01:30hrs: I didn’t wake up as such because I’d been lying there on the rickety recliner for hours trying to get some kip! I just sort of gave up on it. The brain mused over what the needs of the day were, almost of its own accord, really? The appointment at the Sherwood Health Centre for 08:30hrs, not that it is anything special, but I cheered at the thought of getting out again… then started fretting; ‘Will the toilet rolls from Amazon arrive while I’m out? Bound to be nicked if the driver leaves them outside the door! I must start the ablution by 06:30hrs, to make sure if any medicalisationing or Accifauxpas makes me take more time than usual, then I won’t be late in getting to the clinic.

The mind musing stopped and was taken over with the one aim, target, to get to the Porcelain Throne with alacrity and safely. Which I did, and without any Accifaupas! The session went well, indeed! Not messy, no toe stubbings, only the tiniest bit of bleeding from the fungal lesion, and far less painful this time! Hard to understand, expose, I know.

WD 200.0.0 I got the kettle on, took the medications, made a brew, and went on the computer to up[date the Wednesday post. When…

Vir7 200Stop

Luckily for me, it returned on its own, without any prompting or input from me?

I grafted away like-a-good-un, and finished the blog, and got it sent off. Then went on TFZer Facebooking, then the WordPress Reader section, and got some snaps sent to Pinterest. I turned everything turned off computer-wise, and did a bit of handwashing—time for the ablutions to be tended to.

As I was getting stripped off for stand-up session Too early to use the shower, yet, I took a photo of the pins. Another change in their appearance. Looking at the picture later, it seemed that the Clopidgrel had come back with ill-intent?

4Thu01

WD 200.0.0 The lumps on the left led, looked like pale blue and white Traffic lights? Also, on the left leg, the knee-cap area and above was coming up with very odd shapes and contusions?

I did the teeth (one dropsy, toothbrush) and had the shave. (Three cuts, all on the chin) With the feet soaking in the washing up bowl on the floor. Other dropsies were the soap (1), shaving foam (1), razors (3). And very nearly, but I still lost about half of it on the floor and my body, the liquid from the bowl as I emptied it into the WC pan. But it all could have been worse, so no carping from me. Well, perhaps a smidge of a moan, when cleaning up the mess. Grungle-Grumps!

4Thu02All done, I had the time to make up some black bags, to take to the waste chute and a box of cardboard to take down to caretaker Robert’s room, on the way out. The wet paint sign was hung up on display, and the bottom of the door had been decorated. Hahaha! Too early a departure to see any of the workers working.

I struggle a tad getting the bags down the chute, I’d filled the bags a little too much, but they went down with being torn open, with another little effort and few curse-words.

4Thu03Down to the Woodthorpe lobby and out, placed the box of cardboard near Trevor’s door. Across the road and hobbled up the gravel footpath past the Tree Copse. I felt a little sad about how sad and bare it still looked. I’ve not been up the path on the hill more months now, and it looks like even more trees than before 4Thu04have been vandalised! I’ll try to take some pictures later on the way back. At the fare top end of the path, I had to take another breather. Which I’m glad I did, cause I noticed how wet and muddy things were looking there. I had to adopt ‘Caution-Mode’ as got through to the park. Down the hill, took the twitchel onto The Rise. down and right along Elmswood Gardens to the end where the Sherwood Health Centre is located.

4Thu05With Spring arriving with the Coronavirus, I just had to stop near the corner to appreciate and photograph these Crocus venuses ‘Purpureus and other Grandiflorus’, already open (Crocus, I think) and all leaning towards what bit of sun there was. Bootiful!

I plodded on and halfway along the road, I stopped, not for a breather, I was on a flat road, so no need for that. But I realised I was a little early. I weighed up if I would have time to get the Wilko store and back in time for 08:30hrs for my appointment. I decided I could do it if I got a move one. So I gritted my teeth and made for the store. Around the corner, down and right onto Hall Street, left down Mansfield Road and got to the store feeling well-proud of myself (Of course, that way was downhill, the same route back to the Clinic, is uphill).

WD 200.0.0 There were three people stood outside the shop, it was about 08:10hrs, I said I thought they opened at 08:00hrs. A young man, who I assumed worked there, told me they used to, but that was before his time, many years ago! And tossed a glance at the two ladies waiting with him, that said: ‘Poor old fool!’

But I was not discouraged, despite feeling a right Klutz! For at least I had got some exercise in. But getting back to the Centre took me a while on the inclines. The receptionist from the centre passed by me on her way to work, and stopped a little ahead, turned and asked if I was alright! “Yes, thank you, it’s just the hilly bits!” I laughed, she smiled and went on her way. But it was heartwarming that she remembered me. Although it may be because of my last visits cock-up with the timing, Ahem!

4Thu06I arrived at the Clinic about ten-minutes or so later, and entered, stopping to read all the signs in the foyer regards to the Coronavirus. Do not enter if you are feeling unwell – Have a new dry cough, etc. Wash your hands with the Hand-Sanitiser provided. (Which I would have if I could have found any! Just like at my beloved Winwood Heights I suppose, someone keeps nicking the bottles! So sad! I almost took a ‘Guide to Breast-feeding leaflet’, as I had sadly not brought the crossword book with me.

I had a chinwag for a bit with the kind, delightful, pleasant young lady receptionist. During which she said she had bought some toilet rolls from the Continental shop this morning, and offered to go and fetch me one! I blessed her offer, but think I will be alright, and thanked her profusely.

4Thu07I did notice that the Doctors Surgery reception desks, had all been blocked off, so people can’t get too close perhaps. Coronavirus and all that?

While this virus scare had created some, no, many greedy selfish monsters, inconsiderate, thoughtless, insensitive, unkind, grasping, greedy, mercenary, egomaniacal, opportunistic, self-serving, money-grubbing, out for what one can get, foul-natured Nottinghamians, it’s also shown up the genuine kindness of a few people – this receptionist, the lady who helped me with toilet-roll at Sainsbury’s to name just two this week!

I went through to the podiatry waiting area, and read every leaflet on the walls and notice boards. As I was just coming to the end, the lady came out for me, with my not having the hearing aids in, she made me jump as she grabbed my shoulder, she did laugh! Haha!

Inside I went with her to the treatment room. All done in ten minutes, and I got a gossip in while she was doing me plates. Marvellous! I gave a choice of G&T cans in thanks, and out to the main area. Where the charming helpful young lady asked again if she could get some toilet rolls for me. I was humbled! ♥ I handed her a can of G&T in appreciation, as well!

4Thu08Now it was back to the Wilko store for me. All this exertion and physical exercise can only help, with me going to potentially be stuck indoors for six days, awaiting the questionable, as to if they will arrive or not Tork, toilet rolls from Amazon.

I got to the Wilko store without any hassle. No toilet rolls in stock, of course. But I did get two Y’lang and Fressia conditioner and washing chrystals. I love the smell of them! And, the lady on the till, voluntarily put them in the bag for me! Kindness again! ♥

The walk back was interesting, but not so comfortable or easy as going the other way. I walked up the hill and down towards the Woodthorpe Grange Park, and the sound of klaxons was heard.

4Thu10a

One, followed by another, they both turned right, up Woodthorpe Drive at the traffic lights. Then another one went that way, a black unmarked one with covert blue lights and a new different sounding klaxon. I couldn’t get my camera out it time again to catch him, he was a bit swift! I looked on the news later, but nothing to indicate what the issue was.

4Thu11I think that the Coronavirus was keeping folks in, but not the dog walkers, they were all over the fields. I trekked hobblingly up the hill path to the turn off for the Tree Copse. This was oddly pleasant and enjoyable. I think I was musing about the help the two wonderful ladies gave me this morning was the reason. For 4Thu12it seemed no time to me before I was there at the road to the Copse.

WD 200.0.0 I got the wheels all muddied again, this I didn’t like. It’s so exhausting bending down to clean the trolley’s wheels before going in the lift!

This slideshow requires JavaScript.

After taking the shot that covered all of Winwood Heights, Dizzy Dennis paid his first bad visit of the day. I tripped over the wheel of the trolley-guide, but fortunately (See? Good luck again!) there was not a soul in sight, and O landed close to the bench, which I used to struggle back up on my feet. (Luck once more!)

Believe it or not, when I got to the lift-lobby and took out some precious tissues to clean the wheels with, two of the Fire Sprinkler fitters, a gal and a guy came around the corner, and he cleaned them for me! Can all this good-fortune really be happening? I’m Gobsmacked!

As I got out of the elevator, I realised I needed to take care.

4Thu19

WD 200.0.0 The lift-lobby was safe enough, but the apartment’s lobby, was being painted, although no workers were around, tea-break perhaps. I was doing so well as well, in avoiding any contact with the paint, until I had to manoeuvre the guide through the door, and lost my balance a second and went over to the left a little. I thought I’d managed to miss the wet stuff. I got in, and when I took the hat and coat off, I realised I’d not missed the wet stuff! Some on the hat and arm of the coat! Cholericalisations! Ostensibly, of course, I might have got it on the clothes, when I went out on Tuesday? Double-Humph!

4Thu19aI got the veg into the crock-pot on Auto, where it should bring to the boil, then go on simmer. Mushrooms, onions, leeks, turnips, parsnips, sugar-snap peas. with beef seasoning, vegetable 4Thu19fcube and vinegar added in the water. The plan is to have it added to the cook-in-the-bag braised beef, later on for a stew of sorts.

4Thu19bThen, I put away the purchases from today at Wilko. I got a definite message from the EQ at this time. I must be careful when I’m cooking! Good enough for me, I will do! I think the good fortunes of today are about to end. No, I take that back; I know they are!

4Thu19cI took this rather handsome, that’s not the right word, erm.. decent picture of the view from the kitchen window, zoomed in a bit. It came out alrightish. Then, I got on with the updating of this diary, sorting and adding the photos as I went along.

4Thu19dAfter a couple of hours or so, the weariness from lack of sleep was dawning. I took a break and checked on the slow-cooking vegetables, and added a few tomatoes to the mix.

Back to the computerisationing. An hour later, the front door chimed out its “I only want to be with you” tune. By the time I’d finished the sentence on here, and grabbed the stick she was in. It was ILC (Independent Living Coordinator), Obersturmbannführeress, Much desired Pole-Dancer, Warden Deana. She had called to test the alarms. We had a mini-4Thu19Echat while she tested the On-Call box and my wristlet alarm.

WD 200.0.0 Deana left a letter from The Head of Supported Housing. Coronavirus and independent living communities, and off she shot. Bless her!

I decided to carry on with the blogging, but I knew, being so tired it would have to end soon. And it did, I need to make a couple of graphics for tomorrows post.

I went to make a brew, to try and freshen myself up and check the veg at the same time. I put the beef in the saucepan. Then made the brew…

4Thu19gWD 200.0.0AWD 200.0.0 As I went to put the milk in the tea, Shaking Shaun and Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley hit me at the same time! Most of the tea went over my left hand, some on my chest and the rest on the floor! Words were beyond me! I shouted out loud, a naughty word that might be used to question someone’s parentage, followed an agonising Argh!!!

WDP Dec 26bI got the hand in cold water, the chest didn’t seem so painful, but then it coped for a lot less water on it. After a good while, I applied some Germolene cream, and even after such a long time, the cream bubbled on the fingers! Later I changed the cream for some fresh stuff and took the photo.

WD 200.0.0 The vegetables boiled over! And I found they were nowhere near cooked! I have yet to tackle removing the gravy and beef from the sealed packet to the bowl! I think it fair to say, my run of good aura and luck, has ended!

4Thu19kWD 200.0.0 Then, as I went to get a bottle of spring water from the hallway, I found that another letter had been posted!

Nottingham City Homes have decided to cancel, no, sorry, suspend all refurbishment at the complex from today! No mention of Coronavirus, but one assumes this is the reason. My luck is gerrin’ suddenly worse and worserer!

Tired, weary, blistered fingers and dare not make brew since the Accifauxpa!

WD 200.0.0 I’ll pack everything up, and feast on the nosh (of which I took a photo with the DS card still in the computer!) and get my head down.

WDPH01L3It’s been all go here today – with Accifauxpas, Whoopsiedangleplops, cordiality, forbearance, kindness and empathy thrown in.

Please to haveth a good day, take care, and try to Coronavirus-Cope. All the best!

Yours, Nottingham’s wrinkly old confused codger, Inchcock!

GM05 creamWD 0.0.120 01:15hrs: I woke up, in a right mind-pickle – it took me a minute or so who realised I’d woken up at all! Part of the brain was still happily back in the dream I was having, and a beaut it was. I was entertaining an old flame from years ago, the best bit was we were the same ages again. The happy reminiscing ended, as I realised it was not really happening, and never will again. In a couple of seconds, I went from Happiness Defcon 1 to a gibbering, depressed, sulking old git that I am. Hehehe!

The regular summoning to the Porcelain Throne arrived as I was battling to get up on my feet. Grabbed the stick and meandered to the wet room, thinking there was no rush, the borborygmic churning was not present. But I nearly got caught out, no sooner had I got down on the Throne, the evacuation started. Another painful one, but a lot quicker today, and not so messy! There was a bit of bleeding mind.

2Tue01WD 0.0.120 The legs were so different from yesterday morning. Far paler and with the blood-papsules, weals, scars, lumps, bulges, spots, bruises, welts and veins had gone into shy-mode! This was a mystery to me, even for 72 Woodthorpe Court’s illusions, delusions, hallucinations, farcicalisations, infestations, Whoopsiedangleplops, Accifauxpas and manic machinations that thrive here freely, and so bountifully!

I got cleaned up, and off to the kitchenette. The noise from the ‘Hum’ seemed different somehow, still loud, but with a sort of purring effect that gusted now and then with it. I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana, took the medications.

2Tue02Considering if I should open the packet of crispy salt & vinegar seaweed for breakfast or not. But I decided against this, in case I liked them and I have no more. There’s a logic in there somewhere, well, I thought there was at the time, Haha!)

WD 0.0.120 I got on the computer and checked to see if the ‘Error’ that Facebook assured me “We’re working on getting this fixed as soon as we can”, four days ago, had been repaired and I could get back into my photo albums. No Chance! If it wasn’t for my love of the TFZer site, I would just leave and stick with LinkedIn. So much pleasure has been taken away from me.

1Mon02

I got on with the updating of yesterdays blog. Which was not easy. Interference from Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley and Neurotransmitter Nigel, that even with so few photographs taken, so many mistakes were having to be corrected. It took me hours get done. Humph! But I got it finished eventually.

Then went on to the WordPress Reader. Some fantastic photographs on there from Tim Price today. He’s put a blog on with the finest pictures of his cats I’ve ever seen. If you are a cat person (Jane?), have a look if you like, great stuff! Tim’s Expressionable cats

Hello, back to the Throne! A repeat performance, but without the bleeding. Got a wash and returned to the computer.

2Tue08aI made a start on this blog but had to divert to get the ablutions sorted out. Iceland fresh and frozen foods are coming soon.

WD 0.0.120 I had a quick check of their email confirmation to see if anything had been short, or substituted. Of course, there had been, four items affected. They sent large fresh mushrooms in place of button ones. Breadcrumb fish fingers instead of battered. No kitchen towels at all. Naturally, there were no toilet rolls! Spitworthy-Splurging-Sprungcurses! Swine!

WD 0.0.120 Off I trotted to the wet room. It started as a fine almost injury-free session Many dropsies early on, but Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters got kinder to me later. Only one tiny nick shaving. and no razor-drops (Smug-Mode-Adopted, hehe!), a bit of a dizzy in the shower, but all this good luck went to pot with the Sock-Glide Battle! One trapped finger-end was all it was, but blimey it hurt!

I got dressed and smelling nice, got the black bags (3), Recyclable bag, and a bag of used glass jars made up and put them near the door, so I would not forget to take them with me.

2Tue09Then got the handwashing tackled, all done, all wrung, and hung. It was a much longer job today, did a couple of things extra, jammie-bottoms and a jumper. The jammies should be dried by around September or November time, I reckon. Har-har! I didn’t spill so much water over me and the floor, either today.

2Tue13I heard the text message beep and went to investigate. It was a No-Reply message from the Elmswood Garden Medical Centre, correcting yesterdays mistake when they told us; That if we were feeling unwell, do go to your podiatry appointment on Thursday. As I mentioned yesterday, it had to be an error. Ah, well! Nice to know that someone else can ‘Maka-the-Mistaka’, like wot I can! (And do so with a little more frequency than I would like!

The intercom flashed, it was the Iceland delivery chap. Just five carrier bags full, but I’d ordered the heavy stuff that is hard for me to carry form the shops, along with some frozen and fresh bits. Still, they made two unwanted substitutions, and two other not available. I didn’t want the friendly chap to wait about in case I gave him the Coronavirus, so just kept the fish fingers and risotto. I’ll take them to give away later.

2Tue15

Both fridge and freezer were at capacity now! Out of interest, I put the third photo on, its a perfect example of what comes out when taking a picture, and Shoulder-Shaking-Shirley kicks off.

Plenty of time before the Phlebotomy nurse is due, so I cleaned the pams, stove and fridge box.

2Tue12

Then nipped to the waste chute with the black bags. Then down to the ILC (Independent Living Coordinators) Warden Obergruppenführers, taking the glass with me. Stewart was there and took the glass jars off of me. Off to the  Hauptsturmfhreressess Holding Cell and Office. Handed the nibbles over, and said my farewells.

WD 0.0.120 I had a brief chat with Welsh William as I went down the link passage back to Woodthorpe, or it might have been when I was going the other way, I’m not sure, cause Dizzy Dennis has just had a go at me, and Shaking Shaun at the right leg and Should-Shaking Shirley! Not very good that! Anyroad, the right ankle went over, the first time in about three months! Please that it doesn’t start off again! That would be too much to cope with. Blubber, whimper, repine, and kvetch! Hahaha!

2Tue14WD 0.0.120a Back at the flat, I had a go at cleaning the bathroom, but I soon put a stop to it, after only about three minutes. I was getting back up after getting down to retrieve some items that I’d knocked down behind the floor cabinet. (Probably been down there for months, Haha!) And the right ankle gave way again! This is really disheartening.

Oh, dear, I’ve just realised that the nurse has not arrived yet. I was hoping to get out for some fresh vegetables, shame. I’ll go and see if she did not come early when I was out and left a note… back in a bit. Nope, nowt notes.

WD 0.0.120 Oh, dearie me! I’ve just looked at the Anticoagulation Haemostasis Deep vein Arterial Thrombosis Clinic from the hospital… Der! there is no test this week, it’s next week! I’m rushing to get ready to go to Arnold for some fresh fruit & vegetables and toilet rolls.

Took black bags to the chute on the way out, then down and along the passage to the ILC’s (Independent Living Coordinators), Obersturmführeresses and Catwalk Model Wardens, Strip-search and holding cell room. Then on through to the Winchester Court lobby and out to the bus stop. A bit of a chinwag at the shelter and the bus soon arrived, and the others dropped off in Sherwood. I stayed where I was, snuggly ensconced in the corner side-saddle seat, having a failed attempt at the crosswords en route.

2Tue16I got off in Daybrook, at the Sainsbury store. As I went through the store’s car park, which was almost full, I saw very few people about? And as I entered the store, grim, yet determined faces on the shoppers greeted me!

My EQ told me to take care, in there?

The atmosphere inside, although the place wasn’t crowded, was one of purposefulness, it showed on the shoppers’ expressions, but there was touch of resignation lingering on a few of them. I made my way to the greengrocery section first, Hahaha!

WD 0.0.120 There was not a lot of choice on the ravages shelves. Unnervingly, As I searched, I saw what looked like reasonably fresh blood on one of the empty tomato boxes? I only got some parsnips and the only tomatoes available were the organic-grown cherry type. I bought a packet, although I was going to try Asda afterwards, I thought they may not have any either? I pack of sliced mushrooms and some very costly Cox’ apples were added to my basket.

2Tue31

2Tue30

Then I went to the paper products shelves. A grim sight indeed! But, I got blessed with a spot of kindness and compassion! There were just two toilet roll packs left on the whole of the shelving. However, they were expensive ones, with no cardboard rolls. Nicky brand, they were. I took a photo (below) when I got home to show you.

2Tue26

Back to the story-line, (I’m such a waffler!) I could not reach up to the top shelf to get at the rolls. And I could see grim-aggressive faced shoppers approaching, with obvious intentions when they spotted the two rolls! Others seemed to be chasing to overtake them… I would have lost my chance of getting any paper rolls, had it not been for a tall, distinguished-looking young lady, who passed me from behind and went to grab the Nicky’s, she kindly asked me; ‘Did you want one of these?’ ‘Yes, please, thank you very much’, and she handed me the packet!

With all the greed and nastiness going on around me, then this kind gesture from a stranger, I went all gooey-eyed. Thank you a million times, Madam!

WD 0.0.120 The ganglet of other shoppers who’d stampeded to the rolls, didn’t look devastated or sad at missing out; Just so angry! One woman said loudly to her partner, “He’ll be on his own, I have a family to look after… it’s not right”, or something along those lines.

If looks could turn into actions, I’d have withered and died on the spot! Two completely different outlooks within seconds of each other! The memories of their pure-hatred-filled glares and scowls will take me a while to get rid off. Humph!

WD 0.0.120 I paid at the checkout, and the two nasties joined the queue behind me. Still scowling at me, but not saying anything. When the till-lady offered to pack my bag for me, the man and woman both gave out a few Tsks as it delayed them! Oh, dearie me!

2Tue32WD 0.0.120 I paid the kind young lady, got outside and thought I’d not bother with going to Asda and make do. The bus was due in ten minutes, so I went to the Pelican lights to cross the road… and the L9 bus passed by! Well, fancy that, I thought! (Not the exact words a muttered to myself!) So another change of plans and I walked into Arnold and called at the open fruit and veg market to see what they had on offer.

The produce didn’t look all that fresh to me. The biggest disappointment was they had on display some tiny whole parsnips and carrots, that would have been perfect for roasting. But on closer examination, they were a bit like me, old and withered! Hehehe!

I called in the Fulton food store, but they had no vegetables or toilet rolls, not that I needed the rolls now, for a while anyway. It’d be just my luck, to go and get diahorrea now.

Over the road and into Asda. No photographing in here, not since the Security men caught me photographicalising last year, and firmly told me off!

WD 0.0.120 The place was mayhem, bog roll shelves empty, bread rack with nothing on them, and the now seemingly accepted family gangs, with each member having a trolly. In hopes of buying extra-short of stock things I imagine. Then they will go through the checkouts as if they are not related, in an effort not to stick to the maximum permitted number of items! Community Spirit?

2Tue24I got to the self-serve tills with, a bag of prepped sweet potato fries, (they’ll get eaten tonight methinks), ready-sliced fresh-looking leeks, some English fresh tomatoes, chopped onions, sugar snap peas and two tiny turnips.

Then the climb up to High Street to catch the L9 bus. Eerily, there was nobody at the bus shelter at all! The bus arrived early, I’m so glad I did too!

2Tue25I’ve never known this happen before, but when I got on the bus, I was the sole passenger! So, out came the crossword book. I was doing a little better this time. The bus went for three or four stops without picking anyone up, another first. When it got to Daybrook, a few got on at various stops, and a lady who usually has a natter with got on, and I went into Chinwagging-Delight-Mode! Hahaha! The others all joined in with jokes and laughs when she produced a pack of toilet rolls. She works in a shop!

2Tue27I got home and went through a people-less Winwood Court to Woodthorpe Court. I got the fresh stuff out of the bag and ready for storing away in the fridge, that needed some jiggling about to make room for them. This is when I realized I had two packs of Cox’s apples, one from Sainsbury’s one from Asda. I checked the till receipts and found no charge on the Asda one? Oh, dear! I don’t know how, but I had not charged myself for the bagged fruit.

I got the oven heating up, opened a can of beans and put some Hickory marinade in with them, and on the lowest heat. Then, took the evening medications, moved the handwashing, put some on the clothes airer. Stirring the beans regularly, I’m looking forward to trying the unbelievably expensive Hickory.

2Tue28WD 0.0.120 The meal was okay, it didn’t look very appetising to me, though.

1Mon02The Hickory, so-called flavouring was untasteable! Trying to work it out, I think I must have put over a £1’s worth of the stuff in with the beans too! Very disillusioning. I shall not be buying that again! Watery Crap! Cat Wass! Here’s a photo of the insipid weak, Taste-of-the South, American marinade, just so you don’t get conned like I did, into thinking it will be rich and tasty. It’s not!

However, the fries and beans were delightful all the same. A flavour-rating of 7/10. But I was a bit miffed at the marinade’s tameness and bland tastelessness. Particularly at how much I paid for it! I’m too embarrassed and coy to tell you how much it was!

WD 0.0.120 Being so late, I thought that sleep would come quickly tonight, for once, but no. I did dose off regularly, but only for a few minutes each time, and was waking up with a start each time? So desperate was I, I turned the TV on, vainly hoping I’d do the usual and fall asleep at the first set of advertisements, but again, No! I just carried on, dosing and waking, I could see the clock, and sometimes I was off for only a minute before jumping awake!

I wondered if the day’s ups and downs, and excitement of the chinwags and getting out and about had affected me?

TTFNski. (Yawn!)

GM 90.0.002:05hrs: I stirred from my slumber, feeling sedentary, reluctant to move. Jejune thoughts came and went; the brain didn’t want disturbing with anything too important. Nor in the least bit like any conscientious physical or mental activity! The maundering mind mused over puerile irrelevant facts and figures for awhile. The eyelids were heavy, and Borborygmus rumblings and gentle but scarily bubbly-sounding emissions of wind started in unison!

I was just not interested in moving! The dry coughing was annoying me; it prevented me from getting back to sleep! Hehe! Inevitably, the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived.

WD 150.0.0 Off to the wet room, got the stick out of the way, and plumped down on the throne. It was hard-going, but I forced the activity along. I wish I hadn’t now – the pain! One unpleasant mess to clear-up and medicate afterwards. The whole nine-yards of hassle to deal with this morning. What a start to the day!

WD 150.0.0 Little Inchies fungal lesion had been bleeding and was sore. The messy bowl (the Sennas had been working at last, too well!) needed cleaning. The evacuated product required much effort and flushing to get rid of! Which when I was in the middle of sorting things out, the metal four-pronged walking stick was caught with my left foot, and it fell, clouting the right foot big toe. On the way down, it knocked the pen off of the floor cabinet, which flew up in the air. It fell into the toilet without touching the sides, into the mess within! Crying was an option that I barely resisted!

1Mon04However, I reckon that the pins (legs) were looking betterer than they were yesterday! There was undoubtedly hardly any hassle from Arthur Itis this Monday morning. Anne Gyna and Duodenal Donald were making up for this, though. The stabbing pains from Ann, and the dull droning aches from Donald. As I left the wet room, limping a little, the toe was still a bit tender, I took care in case any dizzies, or loss of balance came on, not to use the stick too close to the right leg. What am I saying? I get them every day! Every hour, or less sometimes! Stop being splenetic Inchcock! (“Okay, Sorry!”) I think the pins will soon be looking healthy again.

1Mon01To the kitchen, where I was pleased to find I had not left any taps running, fridge door open, or parts of the stove left on! I got the kettle on and took a photographicalisation of the morning view. Made the brew of Glengettie Gold tea, and off to the computer to get the Sunday Diary updated.

WD 150.0.0 I got the computer on and checked first to see if Facebook had been repaired, and I could get back to tending to my beloved photo albums. As if! Third day with no access to collections now. Grrr!

1Mon02

I pressed on doing the Saturday blog and got it finished and posted off. (When I say this, it sound so easy, but took several hours) Then put what few pictures I had on Pinterest. Then went on the WordPress Comments. I checked the Amazon parcels; The one packet of red potato snacks and the 6 packets of Taokaenoi seaweed and the one bottle of Hickory sauce are due today. The absolutely ridiculously priced pack of 12 toilet rolls (I daren’t say what I’m paying, Oh, dearie me), are due on 18th to 20th March. Which was initially 16th, today. Will they ever arrive, or not? A few WUP (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees were taken.

1Mon05I took a break, had a wee-wee, of the WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) so very slowly, variety.

Then got the medicationalisationing sorted out. I remembered I should have made a vial of sample erm… water, for the nurse to collect, so had to fill the sample pot, which was no bother, the trickling is rampant today. Had a guzzle of the over the counter cough medicine as well. Then olive oiled the earholes.

I began on this post. I stopped and went to get the veg in the crock-pot. Onions, I’ve got two more in the fridge. I used the last of the other fresh vegetables up. Mushrooms, onions, and peas, seasoned with a little sea salt, light Soy sauce and vegetable seasoning stock cube. Oh, and a spoonful of mint in vinegar.

Weary-eyed,  I started to do the handwashing. Which went far better than yesterday, no big spillages and no toe-stubbings! Done, wrung and hung, I went to get the ablutions done.

During which, I needed four WUPs (Weak-Unwilling-Painful) Mode tyle wee-wees! But as with the handwashing, the ablutionalisationing went of a lot betterer than Monday’s. A few dropsies, only the toothbrush, razors (2), and the fresh air spray. Moreover, no toe-stubbing and the Sock-Glide tussle was injury-free!

Unfortunately, the chest pains started again as I came out of the wet room. I got the towel on the airer. Then made up three general waste bags and a large recycling one. There was no one about, so I took them to the waste chute.

WD 150.0.0 I came back and had a WUPT (Weak-Unwilling-Painful-Trickling) wee-wee. And decided it might be a good idea if I put the hot tap on instead of the cold one to fill the kettle with, and turned back to fill it. I now have some very artistic little scold-marks on my hand and arm. Frumpworthy Grobblecurses! I got the Savlon cream and used the last of it to ease the tiny blisters, but they all popped when I applied the medication? Now this made wonder. On closer inspection I found the ‘Use-By’ date on the box, to be ‘Oct 2006’! Ah, well, I don’t know how I’m going to get out for some more!

1Mon05bOn the computer again. I had a check on the Amazon bits progress for today. Nothing crucial, each one a bit of a treat actually.

Seaweed Snack, which was £1, I could have got packs of six far cheaper, but I thought it was commonsensible to try one first to see if I liked them. Did you see that? A moment’s logicality sneaked in there! Haha! I must not get carried away with it, though!

The toilet rolls I ordered but dare not tell you how much they cost, but TORK-UK company do not do a tracking system apparently.

1Mon06a

WD 150.0.0 I went on their website. Tork-UK is a New York owned and based firm, and their prices were a little less for the same thing than Amazon. But, not a lot, as Paul Daniels used to say. I looked up the details about the product, not that there was much of it.

1Mon06b

I shall have to work out what those, ‘M’ and ‘MM’ measurements are in English as I know it. Thank heavens for Google. 94mm is 3.7″, and 200mm 7.8″ per sheet, not too bad?

Of course, they have to arrive yet! Wednesday to Friday it says they are due. The lorry might get highjacked? And on Thursday, I have to go to the Podiatrists in the morning for an 08:30hr appointment, I hope it doesn’t arrive while I’m out! Oh dear, I’m worried now! If it comes on Wednesday, that would be the best thing. I’ll be stuck indoors anyway, I can’t go out until Thursday. I will soon need some bread and milk, although I can manage without them really, I suppose. Fresh veg and fruit will be sadly missed. Ah, I think I’ve ordered some of that stuff, from Iceland for tomorrow! I get confused easily, you know!

A leaflet was put through the door, weel, six of them were! I threw five straight into the recycling bag.

1Mon07WD 150.0.0 But had a read of the Farmfoods one. Unbelievable! They were advertising packs of 18 toilet rolls, @ 3 for £11!!! This may get them stampeded by the ruthless, nasty, hoarders of Nottingham. And will end-up in disaster for them! I hope not! But can already envision the responses from the Brexit-weary, Coronavirus C-90-frazzled, angry muggers, shop-lifters and gang members, even ordinary citizens, will be; after they have hastened to the stores to find they have sold out! A verbal insulting, vicious-marathon and possible blood bath will follow! Mark my words! The poor staff are going to be in for it when they run out of stock!

I rang Sister Jane to tell her of the advert. We had a natter, and things sounded better for her hubby Pete, medically speaking, I’m glad to say. Got a bit of a dizzy while talking to her, and most of the conversation didn’t make it to the memory-box. Phwert!

1Mon08WD 150.0.0 Back on the computer, but the usual old folk’s weariness was dawning fast. So I gave up, after trying Facebook first. Still no access to my photo albums! Grrr!

1Mon09aI got the chips in the oven and checked the vegetables in the Crock-Pot. The Amazon delivery arrived, and I left them to sort out later and pressed on with the nosh preperationing. And what a nosh it turned out to be. An 8/10for flavour. Super tasty! I could have done with an extra x6 servings of the Truffle Fries, but still.

1Mon09bI did the washing up, took the medications and opened the three bits from Amazon. The salt & vinegar flavoured seaweed snack pack (Not tried yet), six packets of Japanese style seaweed crispies (delicious!), and the Moores Hickory Marinade (Very costly!) I’ll ask on the TFZer Facebook if anyone knows how to use this Marinade.

1Mon10I put the boxes behind the £300, second-hand, grottily beige-coloured, c1968, not working, uncomfortable, falling to pieces recliner.

Then found boxes I’d put there earlier and had not removed yet! But I’ll get around to it sometime, I’m sure…

Washed, changed, and got settled to see some TV. The usual happened; watch a few minutes, nod-off a few minutes repeatedly, but no proper sleep for hours! Spit!

GM01 Dark Blu 00:25hrs: I woke up with a dry coughing bout. I’m hoping it’s not a sign of the Coronavirus having taken me over. I don’t think it is though, cause I wasn’t feeling too bad or ill at all. In fact, the ailments, apart from the new cough, pain in the chest, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters and Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley, were all in a good mood with me. The mind was a different matter, as the morning went on, concentration and clarity became reluctant visitors.

I rose up, got the four-pronged stick, and was making my way to the kitchen, and the demand for the Porcelain Throne erupted. So, to the wet room. Another painful affair, but at least it was not messy, over reasonably quickly, and only a tiny amount of bleeding. None from Little Inchies fungal lesion.

WD 50.100.200. Into the kitchen, olive-oiled the earholes. Kettle on and went to take the medications. Globolerations! I’d missed taking last nights doses! So, I took them and hoped I would remember to take the morning ones later (I did – Swank-Mode-Engaged!) Made a mug of Glenghettie Gold tea, and onto the computer.

7Sun01WD 50.100.200. I really wanted to get some time for graphicalisationing today. First things first, though. I went on Facebook, to see if the ‘Error’ had been rectified and I could add to my photo albums. ‘No-Chance!’ – Tsk!

The odd fleeting appearances of Dizzy Dennis kept me company, as I got the diary updated and sent off. So few photographs, and not being able to post them to Facebook saved me some time. Remembering which ones needed going on when (if ever) Facebook comes back online correctly, will be a time-consuming headache, I’m sure.

6Sat05I went on the WordPress Reader section. Then on CorelDraw for many, many hours trying to catch up with the page headers, dedicated days and Thoughts graphics. It was so slow going, though, and exasperating.

Though, after a few hours, I needed a change, Saccades Sandra came to life, and the eyes had to be rested a bit.

7Sun03So I had a wee-wee. Which was surprisingly powerful in its flow, but short-lived. Then off to the kitchen and got the kettle on again.

I got the handwashing done, wrung and hung.

Then cleaned the kitchen floor, it needed it after Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley had done with me, and much spilling of water was done. Haha!

Made the brew of Thompson’s Punjana tea, yet another wee-wee, again a bit forceful, then to the computer graphicalising again.

7Sun02WD 50.100.200. I tried Facebook again, just in case it had been mended and was working. No chance!

I remembered to take the morning medications. Smug-Mode-Engaged!

WD 50.100.200. I went into the kitchenette to check on the hanging washing. Rang out the shirt sleeves of water, spilling some on the deck. Went to put the kettle on, and grabbed some kitchen towelling, and the long picker-upperer to dry the floor with. And slipped on the water. The coalition twixt the right knee and the floor tiles, you’d have thought would have enough punishment… but no! I cracked the side of my head against the cupboard! Twisted the back, and Arthur Itis, Back-Pain-Brenda and Anne Gyna were all showing interest in me within minutes! Dangwangles, damn and blast the duplicitous, unreliable, Inchcock’s stupidity!

After some pain gel applications, and imbibing another Codeine 30g, the coughing started again. But, of course, it didn’t bother me, oh, no!

Back on the graphicalising. Until it was time to get Josie’s dinner prepared.

I did a double amount of cheesy potatoes, so I could heat what’s left-over for myself later. But no guilt! It’s an integral part of my allowed two-days a week cheesy-potato-treats! (Cough and a splutter!)

7Sun06WD 50.100.200. Off to the Porcelain Throne again. This mark-three attempt was another failure. Something seems wrong in the depths of my over-weight stomach? It’s giving up its contents for me! Still, I changed into some trousers ready for delivering Josaies fodder and checked out the pins (legs) and had a freshen-up.

7Sun05WD 50.100.200. As I came out, I glanced at the door and found a leaflet had been delivered. Which puzzled me for many reasons. To advice on Fire Prevention procedures and lessons learnt from the Fire in Winchester Court on 6th February, in the Communal Lounge.

  • It just had to be on a Tuesday, didn’t it? I’ve got Morrison’s delivery coming.
  • The Phlebotomy nurse expected for taking my blood sample.
  • The Podiatrist to reply to.
  • The Doctors Surgery to ring.
  • The Amazon (I hope) toilet rolls order just might be being delivered.
  • How come we can have a meeting (Although less the self-quarantined Tenants of course) when we cannot open the cafe or have Social Events?
  • Then again, dying of fire, fumes or smoke, is probably worse than the Corona Virus knobbling us? Maybe, perhaps?

WD 50.100.200. You may not know it,  but this leaflet caused me severe pain. Haha! I was hobbling along reading it, and I caught the stick on the clothes airer, and stubbed my toe! Whiperdeedooda!

7Sun07WD 50.100.200. I got back to the computer and started to update this blog, and thought I’d better check the spuds in the oven – I’m so glad I did! The vegetables in the pan were just pouring over the lid! I’d, instead of putting it on the lowest setting, had switched to the highest one. I turned it off and hobbled back to fetch the camera, and it was still bubbling when I got back to the kitchen! Ah, well, at least the peas, onions and black beans will not be undercooked!

I was having a run of bad luck recently, it was almost satisfying, after having moments of good luck and far fewer harmful episodes the last few days. Back to normal, heartening in a fashion. For such a woebegoneness-suffering, weighty, weatherbeaten, woefully woolly-brained Whoopsiedangleplopper, I suppose.

7Sun04Back to the computer and checked the Facebook status.  Pickled walnuts & Gravy! Will it ever get put right again!

WD 50.100.200. I’d got carried away again, and made my way ASAP to the oven to check on the cheesy 7Sun08 (2)potatoes. Well, it’s a good job that I like them well done and crispy. Although these could better be described as rock-hard! Hehe!

I was going to eat just half of them, but when they came out on the spatula in one lump, I just squashed it all on the plate. The vegetables were as I suspected, a little overcooked, in fact, the leeks had disappeared altogether. That’s what leaving veg cooking on high heat for twenty-five minutes can do, you know. Globdogerisations! The surimi fish, black tomatoes were well-tasty (Well they didn’t need any cooking, so I couldn’t ruin them!), and I cut some onions to add to it. Taste Rating; 6.5/10, which was good enough for me!

WD 50.100.200. After doing the dishes, ablutions and settling down in the recliner, the flipping Thought Storms arrived! Which caused me some acataphasia moments.
