My body & brain seemed clumsier,
Concentrationless, forever making a blunder,
Concentration Conrad, trouble with the catheter…

But compared to Thursday, I was feeling chirpier,
Then, this morning, I turned into a grumbler,
The power supply died well before it got darker…
Life felt it was just too much hassle and bother,
I turned into a frustrated, dispirited, sad creature!
Everything went wrong, tormenting, crueller,
I got the power supply back within the hour,
I awaited life’s next unredeeming feature…
At this, I admit I felt a little perkier,
Why I felt ‘up’ is up for conjecture…
The colour swatches disappeared from CorelDraw,
The batteries expired in the Kodak camera,
Liberty-Global, Virgin Media…
Drove me to the point of hysteria!
Blackout! No internet, TV, Alarm help-caller…
Was it down, or did I make another blunder,
I called on my mobile to Warden Deana,
Asked if anyone else had lost their Virgin Media,
Many had, so I was in a confused megillah…
The computer came back on, I had a self-ponder,
So far behind now, a frustrated old blogger,
Hopes of catching up are less than minuscular,
I had to restart four-tim
es on the computer
,
Resigning in on all the sites, regular,

Then, once again, I lost the power…
I reset the box as a chuntering inveigher!
I hope I didn’t move the wrong relayer,
I exist in almost total disorder…
Now joined by my mental dyspraxia,
No socialisationing, so no clishmaclaver!
Life, to me, is a shyster, racketeer, & fraudster.

Reasons for this undetailed blog

1) I was so far behind with the blogging.
2) I lost the notebook page by tearing it off the pad to do another in a failed effort to save time. I have no reminder notes; I can only use my memory with hints from the photographs the computer allowed me to save.
3) Mind-Mangling-Malcolm, Seizure-Soaked-Sandra, Concentration-Crusher-Konrad.
4) After the third computer cleaning of the day (there were two more), I tried to save some CorelDraw rectangles to a file to save new things to the same name and then changed the name to suit the photo. Great idea, I thought. Three hours later, as I was saving the last one, which was saved, the eleven ones done earlier disappeared!
5). Depression Duncan Dawned.

Bit of blood mixed in the nocturnal bag?

Morning views.

My beloved tree copse. I’d love to have a hobble through it again. But…

Late evening view.

Beef in rich stout gravy. With added chopped red onions. Cooked in the microwave, using the new Heat & Eat vented box. Potato chunks cooked in the Air Fryer. Brown ready-sliced cobs and an expensive Pots & Co. Lemon & Lime Posset.
So naughty, but nice!

Boy, did I sleep better? Yes, I did? Did you? Oh, yes!
I must stop talking to myself!

Worran ‘orrible night’s sleep!
, , and ensured a miserable nocturnal nightmare of ever-waking-up. Muttering, swearing, cursing and fighting to get back to kip. I’m feeling fedder-upperer than I’ve been for a long time.

I must ask a Carer to call the dentist to see if they can see me.
has been worse than ever today. Hope I can get in the dentist.
My concentration is non-existent. The agony is doing me no good at all. Even the tooth-pain-killer spray is not easing the teggies in the slightest. I’ve taken extra Codeines, Ibuprofen dissolvable in the bladder water drinks, and been eating Paracetamols as if they were podded peas. Not much in today’s blog, apart from moans and gripes.
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

At least the nocturnal wee-wee was a better colour.

The new Kodak.

I took these shots out of the kitchenette window with the cheapo backup camera, not the Kodak.
It captures the varying colour shades of the rising sun behind the building to my left. It’s not too bad at all.

Then the need for a visit to the was called for, so I went.
One final shot of the sky was taken. There were not many clouds yet; there were no more at midday. What does that indicate, I wonder? I poddled to the wet room.
No pain in evacuating this time.
But the stink was beyond the putrid classification. Phoaw!
Cleaning things up afterwards was a task and a half.
I think I had a while in there. I do not recall finishing up the cleaning and was back on the computer when I realised this. I grabbed a hold of , (I could not find and raced, well, hobbled back to the wet room to check if I’d left the taps running. I had not, and I’d cleaned the faucets!

I worked on CorelDraw and updated yesterday’s blog. I sent it off. It took me about three and a half hours.
I went to see if the skies were worth photographing and found that  had been left in the kitchen.

arrived. was then joined by , in a two-pronged attack while Precious was still here putting my diabetic socks on. The lad showed some concern. Then, as he was putting the other sock on, a kicked off, and I nearly hit him. Then,  sent a cracking bolt up my leg that went beyond my kneecap.
I gritted my teeth with the pain and instantly forgot all about the same pain… I’d crunched one of the bad front teeth against a lower one. Boy, well, Arghhh!
Precious then issued the medications, and I gave him a cold drink from the fridge and his choice of a nibble.

Within minutes of his leaving, I had another blank that must have lasted for a while, but I had not worked on this blog during that time. I may have done some CorelDrawing, or I could just be getting things all mixed up again. Carried on giving me some stick, and foolishly, I sprayed on another dose of the toothache painkiller. It’s losing its effectiveness now. Then, a second Caregiver arrived, but I can’t recall her name. She was in and out quickly because there was nothing for her to do, apart from taking a choice of drink with her as she left. Hehe!

Now, I concentrated as best I could on starting this blog for an hour or two. Then, I topped up the Nurses & Carers’ nibble table stock.

I tried to make up some Cartoons as I only had two days’ worth ready. It was hard work with the toothache and electric shocks, and the earache was gaining power. I’m fed up!

I took this shot from the kitchen window. Cloudlessness?

I went to make a microwave-ready soft-to-eat meal. Minutes later, these on the right were five minutes apart. The sky had a few clouds up there now.

Carer Israel called next.
I got the lad to take off the diabetic socks for me. I lost the plot a bit as he was on his mobile for a long time, but know that I did tell him of the tooth and earache and had a decently powered shock from & the ankle ulcer while he was here. I told him to take some nibbles and a drinkie on his way out.
I had a ready-made shepherd’s pie. The vegan sausages I added were too firm and painful to eat. They pissed off   too much. But I managed all the rest; the soft sliced milk roll bread and lemon & lime yoghourt were delicious.

I went to wash the pots, etc. and caught the sunset again. I snapped the first effort. Then, I proceeded to reach to close the window against the radiator. Swore, then swore some more.
I took the second shot with the sun now gone to bed.

I decided to watch something on TV. I drifted off into a deep sleep for about ten minutes, and then the TV woke me up, and I swore a little more.
Then the door chime chimed (they do that, I’ve noticed, Hehe!), and in came Carer Richard. Of course, I bored him with my tales of the last few days’ toothache, earache, and electric shocks. Following up after he gave me the medications, I opened a bottle of spring water and added some effervescent Ibuprofen painkiller to it. Well, another
The fizz shot up so fast that it drenched my nightshirt, protection pants and right leg before landing on the carpet!
I took off the gown and limped to the wet room. I removed the PPs, put them in the bin, and struggled to add a fresh pair. I bent a fingernail backwards, and it split, causing the new PPs to tear. Bending down to get them off again, I gave way as I was getting yet another pair on. Naturally, of course, the PPs kept me company.
When I returned to the main room, Richard asked what had happened. He had heard my language and cursing. It was good of him to wait to see if I was okay. A drinkie was chosen, and nibbles were offered.
I was not in a good frame of mind now!
I got back on the computer to write down the farcicalness that had taken place before I forgot it.

The Dang-nabbed pains from the lower regions of Little Inchie are slowly getting worse again. I know how this affected me over the last two weeks of agonising suffering, and I am not looking forward to the pains getting worserer. And this, with the more frequent ‘Out-Of-It’, Mind-Banks and possible seizures, I am going to ring the Doctor on Monday and try to get things looked into. The Acne and Barrier cream prescriptions that the Chemist had received from the Doctor eight days ago have not arrived with the monthly prescriptions; they were late and left me without pain-numbing Codeines for two days.
Just when I needed them more than ever.
That (I hope) is the end of my moaning.

At 05:50 hrs, I bounded out of bed and did fifty toe touches and 100 press-ups. I ran down the 12 flights of fire escape stairs and back up again to the flat. I made a drink of carrot juice and had five raw eggs. Or, the truth. At 05:50 hrs, I came back to consciousness, in pain with the they’d woken me up so many times in the night),  , and the pains from rampant. I had a feel around with some kitchen towelling, and at least this time, there was only a smidgeon of bleeding. As I forced my legs from the bed, a new language was coming from my mouth. Something along the lines of; Arghhh, ug, shit, oho! sodditski”. As I was catching my balance, a developed. It only lasted for a few seconds but it  , right against the right foot . I caught the ankle, and my lesion is now leaking. Not that it bothered me, of course. Ahem!
This shot of the legs and nocturnal pouch I took when I was doing my ablutions shows how good the urine colouring was this morning. Do you see Tea Glengettiethe bones sticking out on the feet? That was due to contribution to the morning ailments.
I washed and shaved, and after stopping the bleeding ear hole, I did the Medicationings as required and made a brew of rich, strong Glengettie tea. Then, I got the computer on and faced a mammoth task.
I’d done a little prep work on CorelDraw, but I have not started anything on this blog yet. And due to Mind Blanks whatever, I was struggling.

This cost me even more time and bother. I found myself in the kitchen, cooking a microwave meal, and unconcerned at that time, I got out a baguette to go with it. I knew it was beans, and it had an odd taste—not bad, just different. I sat at the computer with the tray in a drawer and ate it, not all of it. But I don’t usually have a meal in the morning. Good heavens, it’s afternoon now. Investigations were needed to satisfy my own curiosity.

First, I retrieved the sleeve from the waste bin to find out exactly what I’d just eaten. It was a Vegetarian Chilli.
Then I perused the caregiver log folder. Yes, two caregivers had called on me without any memory whatsoever of the visits!
Joanne and Israel, this must have been a long seizure or whatever it was. I’d used the new vacuum thingy during the blackout, I suppose. Because it had been moved and left near the caregiver’s table, I may have been demonstrating it. Joanne, likely. The tray and dishes had also been washed.

The rumblings and grumblings from my innards suggested that I might want to visit the wet room. So, I did!
Another turnabout in the evacuation process! A complete reversal of yesterday’s reluctant, painful, rear-end-splitting concrete torpedo! This was like a straw-coloured with a tinge of green, cabbage-bringing to mind, never-stopping sloppy dollop. The catheter day bag sleeve was standing up well. I’ll need a carer to do it when it needs replacing or gets dirtier. It is fraying at the bottom cut-out hole to accommodate the on-off valve snout.
The right hand is more painful than when I first burned it on the oven rack. I’m trying not to put anything in my right-side pocket because I’ve been going into it to get the camera, and each time, I forget all about it and give out an Arrgh! Hehe!
Carer Israel came for the least two visits.
I spent a while concentrating but did not succeed in finishing the blog. I think I finished it at about 23:00 hrs.

The potatoes had been in the crock-pot for over 14 hours. But they tasted okay. For some reason, the brown baguettes seemed tasteless, as if something had been left out of the contents. I ate half of one of them. The sausages were brilliant!

I tried to get the flat balconies in this shot.

Keep well, and don’t let them grind you down!

Well, there were still plenty of hassles, worries, and mistakes made. There were many visits and stings from . I have never had so many during the day before on a single day. I am greedy! Hehehe! The Doctor’s surgery gave me a tinkle. To make an appointment for them to give me painkilling injections in the knees, to counter & . I’ll see if I can remember to tell them about the latest ailment craze from . She made an appointment for 09:40hrs on Thursday, 18th April. Same day as I was to be going to the Diabetes Course in Bulwell. Can’t win ’em all… Humph, I can’t win any! Haha!
The replacement carpets ruined in the flood escapades arrived.
I cleaned the wet room again, another mess made by yours truly, Inchy. The hallway carpet had not dried yet, so I went into the wet room, taking black bits from the carpet onto the floor!
I decided to wash the bottoms of the slippers and dry them off well. Naturally, I got soapy water on the soft outers of the slipped and had to put them on the fairer to dry. Then, the need for the Throne arrived in a bit of a rush. I made more mess going in with my bare feet this time. Tried to use kitchen towels to clean it up, using my feet, but I couldn’t bend down far enough without suffering from the pain. And if I did get down, I’d probably not have been able to get up again! Then, trying to wash my feet, I got my plates of meat into the bowl alright, but at just the optimum time to cause me the worst degree of bother, as I was removing the dodgier right leg, prone to bursting into a wild dance of its own accord, I had a  , and tipped the bowl over! Thus had to clean the place up again for the third time! I took the bag of rubbish and put it in the waste chute. ; not realising how early it was in the day. (approx 05:00hrs) I’m going to get it in the neck now; from those people, I might have woken up. Tsk!
Finally, at long last, I set about having a shave (only one cut). I searched for the toothpaste. After a few minutes of failed investigation, I assumed it had dropped, and I’d taken it out in the waste bags. Arrgh! It was also the last of the prescription toothpaste.
I think at one time, I believed I was still asleep and dreaming. The showering was okay… just one clouting of my head on the power box today.
I got the medicationalisationing done. Amazing, I easily got the PPs on. No socks, of course, like a baby waiting for his nanny; the Carer will sort that out for me later
. I got on the computer. Carer Kimberly arrived. Socks on, medications, a mini-natter, and laughter were enjoyed.
There was a bit of mini-blank here. Hours later, the intercom rang out, and the first of the carpets arrived. Five minutes later, the second carpet (Well, rugs or mats, really).
arrived. We spent a few minutes setting the world to rights. She seemed to have a sore throat. I hope she is not getting the dreaded lurgy.
No idea why, but there must have been some logic in it somewhere; I made a J Sainsbury order for 14 days time. I think it may have been… no, no idea.
I called back later and returned the borrowed bag of ‘s. I was pleased to be in a position to help some other tenant out with the loan. It makes a change from flooding them out, and guilt returns!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Onwards to the photos.
The urine in the night bag looked much darker when I viewed it with my admittedly poor eyes.
The wet room farce was over. It looked good after three hours of mayhem and cleaning it up again… and again, and finally, once again this morning.
Damned good job I couldn’t sleep and got up early. Not that the poor devils living in the twelve-floors below, would appreciate it with me using the darned waste chute that early in the day. Guilt again!
This is the first picture of the view from the kitchenette that I took.
The amazing blue hue was back again. Bootiful!

I forgot to tell you, when I was cleaning the wet room, I used the new lavatory brush. Can I get it back in its hub? I still can’t.

The day pouch was filling up swiftly today. However, it was getting darker as the say went on. It usually does the opposite.
My first mug of Glengettie tea of the day. It really is the best I’ve ever tasted.
Shame I’m only allowed two cups a day. (Sob!)
The postman dropped my Anticoagulation results DVT, INR, and through the letter box. An increase in dosages. It’s a smidge low.
The most amazing cloud formation this evening.
Not unlike the news snippet above Mammatus clouds?
I see so many things in these three pictures.
I’ve put in this blog a little larger.
I hope that my fellow bloggers, Tim Price and Paul, and any reader, can see what I did in them. Who is a  Pareidolianist?
The second mug of Glengettie was enjoyed while I was blogging away merrily. The authenticity of the last bit is dubious.
Why the hell do I write so small? I know full well (at times) that my eyesight is crap, and I’ll not be able to read what I’ve written!

I got the smallest of the mats into the wet room. I decided this should be recorded for prosperity. Despite my shakes, I was determined to get a picture taken with the whole mat in it – I didn’t!

Carer Helen called, and medications were given.
After I offered them, she took about 40 of my DVDs with her, as I cannot see or hear them nowadays. She’ll collect the others later. Great, a clear out at last.

Better get the nosh prepared… it’s nearly midnight. A tastier effort tonight. Well, this morning.  (pork knuckle), Golonkowa, chips, a brown wholemeal baguette and a pot of naughty but so delicious lemon curd yoghourt.

I found it, but it took me 33 seconds.

Inchy: Sat 16 Dec 2023: Computer Down Twice, Depression reigns, Argh!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

You… well, even I couldn’t believe the mess I got myself into with the computer today! I was so frustrated that a loathing of myself and a continually hounding at me with a horrendous amount of lousy luck flourished furiously. This did not help my already well, delicate, state of mind in the slightest bit.
I fear with all the repetitions of failures, I seem to be going into a deep, dank depression at some time, every day! Often more than once. Yet somehow, my very depression makes me sick, disgusted at getting depressed, this in some fashion, helps bring me out of them… until the next one comes. Which are now suffered diurnally.
How I wish a doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist or psychoanalyst, I’m not sure who could help or be willing to, would read these declarations.

THE COMPUTER HAS FROZEN AGAIN!

I”M GOING TO HAVE TO GET THE PHOTOS ON QUICK, CAUSE IT’LL GO AGAIN FOR SURE! SHIT!

No night bag, I forgot to ask the carer to put it on.

.
Morning view.

Early nosh again.
Prepped.

I photographed the meal tray and the dark urine when I emptied the day dag into the jug. The state of the hallway floor before I cleaned, and afterwards. Also took a midday view shot… I did all of these without the SD card in Kodak Tim. Now I was really peeing myself off!

Put the card in and took this effort of the red sky.

When the computer went down for the first time, I tried to photo some of the screens that filled the screen… But they went off as I took the shot… talk about bad luck. Not that anyone can help if they see it, all very technical with no signs of what I had to do!

Opened the internet, Google.

Late afternoon delight.

The bottom field, lovely looking weather, no one around, which I found out of the ordinary.

A later shot of the sky and clouds.

THE COMPUTER HAS FROZEN AGAIN!.
I took these pages they meant, not a lot to me.

Washed the pots and cleaned the kitchen; now back on blogging and am going to finish & post this early.
While I can.

Depressed to Hell!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
The optimum words for describing today’s events:
Shambolic-Failures, Messy, Ignominious & Frustrating!
I can’t think of anything that went as planned?
The trip to town to get some Blepharitis Eye Gel, pads and Eye Spray, was futile! I got the timing of the bus wrong and waited for 36 minutes at the bus stop going. The Nottingham Citizenry in town, were as depressed as I’ve ever seen them. The pavement scooterers and cyclers seemed intent on making me as nervous as possible with the near misses from having my over. Boots, Wilko and even the Poundland shop visited in search of equivalent products failed! No anti-diarrhoea capsules, no Worcester Sauce nibbles, no affordable Germolene or Germoloid. Wilko must be closing down, the y didn’t have any kitchen towels in stock at all! The previously £3.25 Germolene at Boots, was now £6.29 for a 22g tube! It wore me out in B’s, trying see someone to help me with the confusing array of different products for the eyes – I gave up in the end!
On the bright side, I didn’t trip or fall getting onto or off the buses today. Coming home was a close call, mind.
No blogging as such done, so had to get up in the morning at 03:30hrs to get this updated.
Just time to whip in the photos with a few remembered details.
Utter Failure!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A good start though…
Excellent coloured urine in the night pouch.

Into the kitchenette…
Tried to take a better morning view.

Took this shot of the flea-pit as I gathered the things needed for the trip later into Nottingham.

As Carer Kara say’s the new reading glasses will take some getting used to. She was right!

Had a few hours on the Wednesday blog updating. Eventually getting it finished and posted… but it was hard work with the new glasses and of course…
Gave up and continued with the
Just three . A semi-tumble in the shower, leading a hal-hearted head butting of the left grab bar.

Kara who called earlier did the midday visit, and I turned off the computer. I got the body medicationings done, and I consciously used less olive oil in the ears, Germoloid on the bum, and Germolene on the lesion and papules. My EQ told me I was not going to get any on the trip out. He was right, too!

SET OUT TO BUS STOP TO NOTTINGHAM
I met a resident and chatted with her on the forecourt. She pointed out that Carer Kara was giving me a wave from a high window in Winwood Court. ♥
Got to the bus stop and realised I had a time top wait.
The traffic island was in a bad state.
Looked like someone had pulled up some plants. Tyre marks on the once frass soil. Debris and waste dropped or blown on it.

When I got into the city centre, this is the first photo I took – and unfortunately the last. Despite my thinking I had taken several more, about ten I think of different area, for some reason, and I can’t figure out why, none of them were on SD card in the morning? The when I got back to the flat ones and later were though. A mystery as to what I’d done wrong?
I’ve mentioned the farcical shopping efforts, so will start with my return journey. The thought of my failing to so many things I wanted to, and not being sure if I had bought the right ones of those I did find in Boots, is embarrassing!

After my stubble from the bus (I didn’t go down!)
I made my way slowly to Woodthorpe Court.

Part of Winwood Court.
Paved walking area between courts.
Got inside and made my way up to the flat.
Feeling a little disheartened at the state of the shops, and thought to myself, “Well that was a waste of time!”

Got in the flat, having seen not a single person on my way.
More beautiful puffer clouds on the horizon again.
Something peaceful, relaxing about these?

Got the shoes off, they seem to have gelled to the feet. Hehe!
The pouch had soon filled up again after I emptied it when I got inside the apartment. Come think of it though, I had started guzzling the soda water again, the get the bladder going, as instructed by the medicos.

Aha, at the last of the day(2nd) mug of Glengettie tea!

I got the receipts out of the bag. Boy had I spent a fortune with all the massive price increases at Boots
This little lot for the eyes cost me £64!
I’m not sure that I bought the right Blepha either. This one had SOL on it, the other I’m using from the optician, has GEL?

The meal tasted Grrreat!
Flavour-Rating 9/10!

Much needed after what was for me, a hectic, getting upright and annoyed with things day! I think I must have looked a little mentally and physically battered, cause the care didn’t stay as long as usual… not that I can recall much of the visits.

I nodded off without any problems. Must have slept peacefully for about five hours of bliss… then… started, and knowing that this blog would need updating, I made an early start – and has only been down once up to now!
So I’m glad that I started early (03:30hrs )while the internet was behaving itself for once.
It still took me a lot of mistakes and self-confusion until nearly 12:00hrs to get it done though. Hey-Ho!

Inchcock Today: Not a Good One!

We’ll start with the Ode,
Cause I’m tired and old,
Sorry, there’s no centrefold…
Oh, dearie me, I just scowled.
Just stubbed my toe; I let a naughty word go…
Read about another murderer being paroled!

Today felt like the longest day – ever!

0525hrs: I sprang awake with the usual verbal Huh! In mental confusion and a mind-muddle. That’s also a regular awakening scenario.
However, I was soon out of the c1968 recliner. And after a regulation wee-wee; The brain seemed to come partially together, and I remembered both the Amazon order was coming today and the delightful Carol to do the washing in place of Esther. The Amazon order should be the gigantic bottle of Ben’s hickory smoked barbecue sauce on its way to me. I adore the flavour of this one. It may not as strong as some other sauces are, but it’s smoked to perfection! And along with the wonderful Stubbs Hickory Liquid Smoke, will be used in the chilli I make. This passes Josies and my taste buds test to a tee! I also use it on the veggie burgers. Oh, I do live well… That might be a slight exaggeration. Hehe!

I checked the state of the plates first, not the dinner plates, my plates of meat, feet. They looked good, but they were painful underfoot. Having said that, They’ve been a lot worse, so I’m not going to grumble!
For some weird reason, I remembered the mould on the bottom of the shower area. I got the Mr Muscle Spray and used it all, covering the affected area. Then thought I’d leave it for the recommended 15 minutes and, naturally, I forgot all about it. Ahem! !

I made up the waste bags, then I cleaned the cooker top… I did think about cleaning the oven… but, well, you know how it is… Hehehe!

Arrived and inquired as he came through the door what that smell was. At this point, I remembered the mould spray I’d lathered the wet room and floor with. Richard went in, looked around and turned to me with that famous half-smile and a he is, look on his face! He pointed out that I’d used shower gel, not a mould cleaner. He helpfully told me to nip down to Sherwood and buy some. Hehe!

It was so late in the night that by the time I made a start on this blog, my eyes were making it so hard for me to see properly. The notes on the ‘remember-pad’ have wriggling letters and words, so I’ll have to either guess or ignore what I cannot decipher. Sorry!

I’d not heard from HRH or Billum for a while. I was a little worried, so sent an email asking how things were – with hopes that they were okay. I love them both; they have such great personalities and are caring people.

Little did I know of what lay in store for me today. Ups and downers and more frustrations through things I did wrongly cost me dearly in time. I was up all day and night, trying to make things right again. Humph!

Carol, the ex-carer, who is standing in for Esther, came in, but of course, I could not hear her. Good job that I wasn’t using the bucket or medicating any bleeding areas at the time. I mentioned that it would be best if she pressed the doorbell before coming in. I spoke very matter-of-factly so as not to hurt her feelings. She apologised, and I said there is no need for that; you were not to know. She’s a lovely lady. She took the laundry for washing and said she will return. Bless her.

Now all the scribbling I’d done for over 14 hours was getting harder to read. I think I see “To the waste chute with Richard… Stubbed Toe and then mixed in. Back at the flat – Carol returned with the washing. But there is a lot of writing that means nothing to me now. Grungleturds! Carol and I had a natter, and she left the bag in the junk room for me. I still haven’t got around to taking the clothes out as hung up yet! It’d been the sort of day.

I do remember a … Oh, yes! As Carol was leaving, I, yes me! Realised I’d not paid her yet! Which I did, post haste… well, as soon as I found where I’d left my money, that took the edge off of my smugness, Hahaha! Another line of nothingness on the pad.

As I sat down to check on the Amazon delivery tracker, Anne Gyna kicked off, and she made a good job of it. So much so that like yesterday, I took gulps of Pentax, and having taken an extra Beta-Blocker, I dare not take any more, so took a Codeine 30g, but she’s been at me ever since. Even now, so many hours later, Anne is letting me know she’s still there, and it’s nearly midnight now! Being worried about Billum and HRH isn’t helping, I suppose. Worra day!

I then sorted it out. Better late than never.
The figures looked okay to me, and the body temperature was almost spot-on. Surely the NHS result configurator will show this time a lower overall figure? I put in the numbers on their site, And sure enough, I was nearly in the amber zone. Yee-Ha!
I had an email come in while I was making this graph copy. It was from the wonderboys at Iceland – telling me the order is on its way, but with a few changes – confusing ones at that!

At least I got some No-Bull mushroom steaks and Vegan Ice cream. Not that I needed the ice cream at all; after finding out how much I’d already got in the freezer when I put the goods away later when they arrived. Well, would it be impossible to put them away before they arrive? Hahaha! It’s also so sad that the best burgers, the No-Moo brand, have stopped being stocked by Iceland – The Gits! I can’t find any of the other shops that are stocking them! Humph! The Iceland order arrived. The chap went through and put the food bags into the kitchen for me.

I thanked him and offered a cold drink for both men. Vodka and lime and a G & T were selected.
I had an extra problem on my hands now. Reading the short life dates on the chips, potatoes, burgers and what was the other thing? I forget now; it seems like days since the delivery to me, with no sleep for so long. Grumps!
I got the things in the fridge as quickly as I could. I needed a bit of jiggling about to make everything fit in there.
I spotted the vegan cheese that I bought earlier. Must get that used up.
You see here on the left what I mean about my being overstocked on the vegan ice cream? That is because they  (Iceland) have stopped selling the No-Moo burgers, and I suspect that the ice cream might be the next to be abandoned. I have little confidence in Iceland’s system.

Got on the computer, at last, to start finalising yesterday’s blog. I can see another early morning to bed job for me again. But soon got disturbed. But on this occasion, I welcomed it, for it was Carol returning the laundry. This is when I got smug at remembering I’d not paid her, then looking somewhat of a , when it took me five minutes to find my cash so I could pay Carol. Tsk!

I found that two letters had been posted; one was the DVT Warfarin Anticoagulation figures and doses. The other was from the CT4N transport.

.

Some of the writing on the leaflet from CT4N I could read. The graph with the prices for each trip out and in, or in and out, was clearly seeable. So, I assume I can use my oldies bus pass to get the cheaper rate, I think. So, it will cost me £9 for each of the 24 sessions of the Diabetes Training or whatever it’s called.
I must see Deana tomorrow to see if she’s arranged a lift for each session for me. Cause I reckon it says I’ve got to ring them for each trip? The eight A4 double-sided pages on rules and actions needed to use them (DT4N) are just too small to read. I think I can feel Cataract Cathleen laughing inside my head. Hahaha!

He’s now playing away at drilling, and knock-knocking, with the occasion clattering sound effects. Not getting on well with the blogging at all here. However, I did finally get the Monday post done and sent off, 14 hours later than usual, to WP. Email links were sent out, and then the “Oh, Susana” tune chimed away.

It was the Amazon delivery. Well, a part of it anyway. The extra-large super-duper Ben’s hickory smoked barbecue sauce, my taste buds were tingling at the thought of it! It is mouth-wateringly tasty!
I think I must have got something wrong again when I ordered the writing pads. I’,m sure I used the steel ruler to measure that t the page size would be the same as the ones I’m using now… but no!
You see the pack of eight pads next to the BBQ sauce bottle – eight pads! The bottle of Ben’s is thicker than the pads are wide!
I think my Arithmophobia let me down again somewhere along the line in ordering these. Ah, well, I’m not really surprised. I’m just so annoyed with myself again!
Then the biggest time-coster of the day…
Last week, I made up some of the tabs, like the Whoopsiedangleplop one above, in this colour, ready to use here. I can even remember when I did them. Straight after, the metal-tasting reflux came up, followed by a scary Dizzy Dennis bout. Within minutes things improved, but although I was close to getting my head down, I stayed up all night CorelDrawing and creating the tabs. (Truth is, I was weary of sleeping in case the reflux came up again). I am a cowardy-custard!) So today should have saved me time, not cost me it!
I went to use the first one and realised I made them all the wrong size. I thought at first, slightly annoyed again, I’ll just have to edit each one with a new size; time-consuming, yes, but a damned site better than having to spend literally hours making a new set… I thought.
❶ I didn’t realise that the editor only allows you one edit per photo per graphic, and I could not alter them. ❷ But before I could start to create a new set, I had to clear the blog gallery of all the old ones, so they wouldn’t clash with the new ones! So, I did! ❸ Then, take all the old ones off of the hard-drive file to lighten the load on that, so I did! ❹ Double checking that the file and gallery were free of all the old ones, and at just the wrong moment shook me silly; I’ve no idea what I might have pressed as the cursor shot across the screen… but Corel Draw closed itself down!  I genuinely think I might have cried! ❺ As if she was mocking me, kicked off!

❻ I stopped, and a Dracula Depression fought its way through the pain to get at me. And a sad Inchy just sat in the chair here, saying nothing, but the Thought-Storms were raging. I felt so sorry for myself, then I felt ashamed, and it was me sinking to a new low… ❼ Silly, but I believed a mug of tea would somehow help and went to the kitchen to put the kettle on… ❽ I didn’t make it, for fortuitously I got a en route… which made me even angrier, I’m not one for getting angry, but this time I think I was; everything blurred for a short while as if I was walking through fire and smoke… I’m not joking! The pain I was in must have triggered some defence mechanism I’ve not had before. For I suddenly resolved myself not to be beaten – and returned to the computer, and admittedly with a certain amount of incertitude, restarted CorelDraw. ❾ Of course, then I had lost the last saved version of the file! So, I saved this saved version to the old name, and things looked good. Hope was in the air! ❿ Then, all I had to do was pray that neurotransmitters and SSS didn’t bother me again and spent well over two more hours getting the new set of tabs completed!
I’d not had a shave or wash; I was in agony and so tired… yet this new spirit of resistance won the day, and I could get on with this blog once again. A SUPER . But was soon disturbed, in the nicest way…

By Cheeky Charley, the cheerful tonight carer. Because last night, I had dropped a tablet, tonight she hand-fed them to me, one at a time. She washed my stomach, where some blood had dropped earlier in the day when bile came up, and Charley made sure I was feeling okay before she left, all chirpy and gay! I think tonight she was going on the Girlie-Night-Out, and if so, I bet she was the star of the show, wherever they went. Hahaha! ♥

Back to the blogging grindstone, but a happier lad… well, I say lad… I was so worn out mentally, but Anne Gyna eased off at last, and then I had a break and checked on the emails. To Billum and HRH Lisa, they had replied to my email, letting me know they were okay and recovering from a nightmare hospital visit for Lisa. The nightmare was the hotel they were staying in. So much noise they could not get any sleep. Youngsters with their music and noise. Which is so sad. Between the three of us, who all suffer from sleep deprivation, and all three of us get it at the same time! I’m just thankful their absence was not caused by illness or accident; they both have more than enough to cope with as it is. This news kept me going. I checked the email again.

Billum let me know a bit more of his Whoopsiedangleplops. HRH and he went through. A sad Tale of Woe. We three share that trait. Hehehe!

GM2turq03 WD 150.0.100 01:25hrs: The much-hated all-around ‘Hum’ noise sounded for forceful than ever, as I was abruptly roused into a simulated form of life. Then, I so many things became noticeable by their strangeness and unusuality. And Confusion Conrad took over my thought processing for a short while, well, a fair bit of time actually! Which in my responses to, caused me a few injuries, but at least woke me up entirely. Hehehe! (Not funny at the time, mind!)

WD 150.0.100 I felt the chilly draft coming in through the wide-open balcony door. What?

WD 150.0.100 As I moved to get my lumbering wobbly-body out of the recliner to shut the doors, I realised I had all sorts of weird and wonderful things all over and around me! Pairs of washed socks, a bath towel, a bottle of mineral water, and packets of instant mashed potatoes and other stuff?

WD 150.0.100 Throwing the things off of my body to get to close the door quickly, I knocked many things off of the Ottoman.

wd 150.0.100A And stubbed the end of my foot against the metal swivel chair leg. The pain from the overgrown toenails was excruciating!

WD 150.0.100 wd 150.0.100AI got to the sliding doors, and hurriedly closed it. Trapping my right thumb! Argh!

I turned around, and the room looked like it had just been bombed! What the hell had happened? I could only think of one explanation. Nocturnal Phantasma Wanderings, yes, sleepwalking. It had to be somnambulism of some kind, indeed. I recalled yesterday’s moments of being temporarily out-of-it, was this a follow on?

As the scene was identified and the realisation that I was not dreaming sank in, then I started to panic. “What other acts of silliness had I unconsciously done in the rest of the flat?” I was about to set off to investigate, and the call to the Porcelain Throne arrived suddenly and urgently (I thought). So off to the wet room, which looked like I’d left it last night, thankfully.

WD 150.0.100 But Constipation Konrad ensured nothing was evacuated this time. Rock Solid! I did manage a weak dribbling wee-wee, though. You watch, in a few hours, I bet things change again, and Trotsky Terence gets the upper-hand. Tsk!

A quick clean up and I nervously started my search for any damage from my (assumed), noctambulations, in the kitchen.

1Mon001WD 150.0.100 I found that I’d washed a shirt and left it soaking in the bowl in the sink? The place looked like a right mess and unkempt, but this is normal. Humph! I got the shirt rinsed, fabric softened, all done, wrung and hung.

The mystery of why and how the socks were found already hanging on the rail, was not of interest to me at this time. The mind can only cope with so much.

1Mon01I got the kettle on the boil, got a mug prepped with a Thompson Punjana tea bag, and tool a photographicalisation of the morning sky, with the moon partially covered with clouds. I can use this snap later as a background for a thought’s graphic. The mind kept jumping from one thing to another topic, always.

1Mon02wd 150.0.100A As I got the milk from the depths of the refrigerator, Nicodemus’s Neurotransmitters let me down, and the jug slipped from my grasp. I was impressed with myself, how I managed not to drop the pottery! Then cleaned up the milk form my naked stomach, jammy bottoms and off of the floor. Made the brew, took the medications, olive-oiled the eardrums, sprayed Saccades eyes, and made up a black waste bag.

It has been a hectic morning so far. Whoopsies, Accifauxpas, frustrations and confusion. An everyday start, really for me. I do hope that the NHS R4Vad people look seriously into the questionnaire results, on Vascula Dementia, cause I’m beginning to fret a bit over my recent mind-fumblings.

Got on the computer, faffled about on different things, no concentration this morning now. I found an email from Jenny. She has got the lemon bleach for me. Also, she’d bought some lemon mousse which she knows I’ve been struggling to find, bless her, how kind. I got the money and wrapped it in a bag, put the plonk and bits I’ve got for her and Frank, and into a carrier bag. Put it near the door to remind me, when Jen rings to let me know she’s coming,

I’ll put it outside for her to collect as we swap bags. Lovely! ♥

This reminded me about cancelling the Government food parcel, so I got the address off of the letter and went on to the Government site to follow the instructions and change things. It said to reregister and click ‘Yes’ on “Do you have a way of getting essential supplies delivered” Will stop the supply. So I did.

1Mon05b

I was pleased with the ease of getting it done. Smug-Mode-Utilised! Haha!

Both camera batteries were showing low, so I got them on charging. I got on and updated the gloomy Sunday diary. Nicodemus was acting kind towards me, but Duodenal Donald and Toothache Tim were beginning to bother me. Can’t win them all!

Went onto Pinterest, then WordPress Reader and comments, well, comment.

0530hrs: I went on another Porcelain throne visit, but that was a failure too! Things felt Rock-Solid in there. Oh, dearie me! So, I went to make a brew of Thompsons Punjana tea.

1Mon04a

What a surprise when I saw the fog!

I made a start on this blog; then I had to go on CorelDraw to catch up with the graphicalising.

1Mon06The doorbells chimed out, it was Jenny, who’d left the bleach and lemon Mousse in a bag for me outside the door. She hadn’t warned me she was on the way, so I hadn’t put the payment, wine and nibbles out for her to collect. I called her on the phone and thought I’d be able to ask her my phone number which I forgot and lost the book with the list in. Klump! She was busy, so I didn’t ask her with asking, just thanked her, and she said no hurry. Wonderful woman!

I carried on with the CorelDrawing.

Five hours later, (12:30hrs) Humph!, I phoned ILC, Obersturmführeresses and Catwalk Model Warden Deana. I had to bother her, to get Caretaker Robert’s telephone number, that was lost with the notepad of numbers. Tsk! She didn’t give it to me but kindly asked what I wanted him for, and she passed on the message, asking him if he could call to collect some bags I could not carry to the waste chute. Walking is currently the at it most painful, with the toenails etc.

The blood nurse is not coming until the 12th; I will beg her then to phone the clinic for me to see if anything can be done to assist me in getting the nails cut.

I started to make a template in advance, on WordPress and CorelDraw.

Late now, I should be getting the meal prepared cheesy potatoes and, erm, er, maybe, perhaps. I’ll have a look at what’s available int fridge and freezer.

WD 150.0.100 Ah, that changes the plan! The Leicester grated cheese, with a use-by-date of 27th May printed on it, has gone mouldy! So, agravannoying!

13:40hrs: Hello, the innards are telling me I need to use the Porcelain Throne again. But I dare not, in case the caretaker calls. Oh, dear!

Ah, well, another think on the fodder finding for my food. I have some halloumi cheese sticks, a packet of BBQ skewers, and I can have them with some frozen peas, methinks. Mind you, I’m not hungry, really, now. I was tired, yes.

I’ll have a go on Facebooking, while I wait for Robert to arrive. No, No, I won’t! I’ll see if I can get an order in for Morrisons, I could get an order without waiting for three weeks this time. I’ll give it a try!

WD 150.0.100 Got all confused, the delivery pass was not accepting my card, the same one I pay for the Groceries with! After much kerfuffle, I gave up. But, I still got an order in, for three weeks. Original order is coming tomorrow morning, and Iceland later. At least I’ve got some batteries on the list; if they arrive. I can listen to the radio in the wet room again.

I went to check on the bags at the door, and they were all gone. Bar a bag of glass jars) I struggled to get the wheeler-guide going, and went to limped down to take the bag of recyclable glass jars, and they had gone? I was a bit concerned about the caretaker, if it was him who fetched the bags for me, was not communicating with me? I got down and found him, he was a new face, (I hope Robert is on holiday and not poorly) and he had not fetched the bags, a ‘woman’ did?

With well-aching feet and toes, I limped to the lift, and dropped off the bag for Jenny at her door and rang the bell. She’ll sort out who deserves them for me.

1Mon06bThen I got the ablutions sorted out. Another mystery, but a nice-one: Shaking Shaun, Nicodemus’s nerve-end failures, Anne Gyna and Dizzy Dennis were all so kind to me. The dropsies were only six, and little bleeding. Which was pleasing, but the toes, feet and Arthur’s knees were bothersome.

1Mon06CGoing to the kitchen afterwards, I saw the change of getting a moody-photo in, using the strong evening sunshine and the shadows. I did notice that both legs had gone thin, which in contrast to my wibbly-wobbly gross stomach hanging out all over the place, which gave me the guilts.

1Mon06aI got the meal prepared and served up, and a decent one it was. Those naturally Imperfect chips are the best of the frozen ones I’ve ever had. Overall, a flavour-rating of 705/10.

WD 150.0.100 Again, the sweet-Morpheus refused to come. Sleep deprivation seems to be the thing nowadays, with the lock-down. I bet a lot of others have it as well. Especially the poor devils with neighbours above who play music and watch TV at full-blast every night! They should do what I do, and invest in a pair of headphones so that others can get some sleep, and they can still watch their telly.

WD 150.0.100I watched the TV and nodded-off, woke, watched some TV and nodded-off… for hours and hours repeatedly, before finally getting off to blissful sleep.

WD 150.0.100 Then had to get up when the innards started rumbling, to visit the Throne Room. I struggled and failed to pass again.

Back in the c1968 recliner, I changed to a radio station, some classical music was found, and slowly but surely, the Thought-Storms abated, and I was drifting off, at last…

WD 150.0.100 The landline burst forth its ring and flashed. It took me a few seconds to respond, I struggled out of the chair, banged my elbow on the Ottoman as I nearly lost my balance; silently swore, and two paces to the phone… and it stopped ringing! Grobblecockski!

I got back down again, and it took ages before I’d unwound enough to get some sleep!

WDPrightWD 150.0.100 Again, I was on the verge of slipping into bliss, and the Pillow-Shaker Fire alarm activated! False alarms have occurred a lot of times. The NCH bloke said it is when someone on Blue-tooth on a similar band is using something on their internet or ethernet, laptop, computer or Ipad thingies? Anyway, I had to get up just to check, but there was no alarm on-site or Fire Brigade attended.

I gave up, got up, knocked the bottle of water off of the Ottoman, and did some imitation cleaning in the kitchen. Hey-Ho!

GM00303:25hrs: I woke after a nightmare-ridden kip. I lay a few moments trying to recall anything about the dreams, but only the fact that they were about my past failures and mistakes came to mind, nothing concrete, no details or facts.

WD 50.0.0 Then, as the brain slowly engaged gear, yesterday’s memory blanks were pondered over. I decided, that as soon as, well, if, things get back to normal again, I must get in touch with the Vascular Dementia Group, if I can find their details, and mention the increase in the ‘Out of it’ episodes I’m having. I was more worried about it, this time, for some reason. Within seconds, the recently regular need for the Porcelain Throne arrived and distracted my thinking.

I painfully disentangled my surprisingly twisted and yet sprawled over everywhere humongous body from the recliner. I knew walking was not going to easy today (Well, when is it?). RAI (Rheumatoid Arthur Itis), the feet souls and the overgrown toenails, all gave me hassle on the way to the wet room. I did notice that the nibble pots from last night, seem top have been untouched. Nibbled-less?

WDP001However, the session went well, indeed, much easier than yesterday. Barely any bleeding from the rear end and Little Inchies fungal lesion had not been bleeding at all! Wonder-fabulous! Not as hurtful, and over quicker too! Oh, Yes!

I cleaned up and medicated things, and hobbled, taking extreme and concentrating on not to get any toe-stubbings, to the kitchen.

6Sat01There was a slowness to my thoughts this morning. Not necessarily a bad thing, I think.

Before I turned on the light, I spotted the partial moon through the thick-framed, light and view-blocking window. I got the kettle on made a brew of Glengettie Gold, and took a photo as best I could of the morning 6Sat02view.

Then I decided to get the handwashing sorted out. This is an example of what happened yesterday, the mind kept changing priorities and forgetting what was going on before. I got the togs done, wrung and hung, and the tea had gone cold!

WD 50.0.0 So, I made another and remembered belatedly to take the morning medications. Realising, as I got the pill-dispenser out, that I had not taken last nights doses! This was not a very promising start to the day, Konrad Confusion seemed to be in charge again, not Inchcock!

Sorry if this sounds confusing, but it was to me, baffling!: When I got on the computer, I even jumped between tasks, it was all very disconcerting. Instead of getting on with the urgent need to update the Friday post first, I got the photo’s uploaded, resized and then instead of putting them in yesterday’s diary, I started to create the template for this blog? In the middle of doing this, I checked the Emails. Found one I’d missed somehow, from Jenny, and wrote a reply. Then, not back to this blog, or the Friday one, oh, no! I made up a Thought graphic on CorelDraw. I needed to get a grip!

I started the updating on Friday’s blog.  Pressed on, and got it done with relative ease, but still with problems that delayed me somewhat. This was because Nicodemus, Saccades-Sandra, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley and Shaking Shaun, were all being so kind to me, too. No, the addled-brain is the guilty party this time!

I got it finished and tried to concentrate harder. I got the link emailed off. Put some bits on Pinterest. Went on the WordPress reader. Then did some Facebooking, and commenting.

6Sat03Back to the Porcelain Throne again. Although Arthur Itis was getting a little painful again, I think the knees were looking much better than yesterday. The faces in the patellas had morphed changed. Hehehe! The evacuation was another decent one too! Still, Constipation Conrad drove, but far less bothersome.

6Sat05aI got a wash, and off to the kitchen, to make a brew of Glengettie tea.

I investigated the options for the nosh later. I had a check on the freebie potatoes and found they had roots growing out of them. So I removed them, it took me a while to get them sorted out. I got them cooking in the crock-pot on a low setting. Added some vinegar and salt and cleaned up the counter. Made the brew, took the midday med’s a little early, I know, but at least I remembered them this time. Hahaha!

The plan was to have them with some peas and the steak that is on its last use-by date in the fridge.

WD 50.0.0 I spotted some dogs walking their owners in the bottom field, and went to fetch the camera. But, could I find it? No! Bemused, I fossicked around, getting more and more frustrated with myself. I found the old camera eventually, not the new one yet, and gathered it and returned to the kitchen window.

WDP 003lrWD 50.0.0 WD 50.0.0A The bottom field was devoid of any tellurians of any type by then. The tea had gone cold! I’d left the hot water tap running, and that was cold! And I felt a right twit then! I’d had the Panasonic camera in my pocket all the time! As scatterbrains, simpletons and schnooks go, I must be in line for some sort of medal or award by now, surely?

WDP Dec 26bWD 50.0.0 I made another brew, Morrisons Extra Strong Assam this time, and returned with it to the computer. I’d sat down for only a few seconds, with the aim of getting this blog further updated, and Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shaking Shirley and Saccades Sandra all came at me at the same time! They seemed to be working in unison?

WDPH01LHowever, after having me holding on to the cupboard to prevent my toppling out of the chair, and thinking how lucky I was, that this didn’t happen while I stood up; within a couple of minutes, all three had departed my body!

What’s going on here?

6Sat10The all-around Hum, suddenly grew in volume again, just like yesterday. Annoying, enough to drive one mad!

I was sat there typing, listening to the mind-destroying ‘Hum’, and a few clangs from above, and I am sure I heard a noise that sounded like things clattering to the floor from within the flat. Off to investigate. I got distracted from my search when I checked the hallway. When I saw a large official-looking envelope near the door, I became twitchy. wrought-up, and adrenalised. I had no option but to open it straight away to find out what it was all about. Which I did!

WD 50.0.0 It was a dirty great 20 page A4 two-sided Questionnaire from the Vascular Dementia R4VaD (Whatever R4VaD is). Twenty pages!

This is going to be a challenge I thought I’d better make a start on it.

Back in a bit…

I was side-tracked for the first stand-alone wee-wee of the day. (It had to come, Haha!) Wot-a-shocker it was too! Or rather, wasn’t! It turned out to be a TBKIWAWBC (The-Bladder-6Sat15Know-It-Wants-A-Wee-But-Can’t!) version.

An hour -and-three-quarters later, I’d got the questionnaire filled in. Phew!

I espied some dog walkers as I was doing the paperwork, and thought I’d try to take some snaps of them. But it was a rushed affair, and I didn’t really zoom in enough, but still, I tried my bestest.

6Sat14

I gathered the black bags together, put some on the Trolley-Guide, and got the large envelope sealed and took it with me to post it. I’m not going to risk walking out with the stick like the other day, too risky! A bit of a messy job hobbling with five bags, pushing the walker, and trying not to crease the envelope up. I got the waste chute utilised and rid myself of the bags.

I got down in the lift and went to walk through Winwood Court for the first time for a few weeks.

6Sat28

Aha, blocked-off! Fair enough. So I made my way back through Woodthorpe Court and out into the sunshine on Chestnut Walk, to limp up to the post box.

6Sat22Plenty of yobboes about on their bikes and skateboards up and down the road. Many residents coming and going in taxis too. The sunshine was reasonable, a breeze helped.

I stopped a moment or two for some pain relief and took a snap of my beloved Woodthorpe Court from outside the Extra Care Winwood Court.

Made my way back, and could not believe how long it had taken me to walk a few hundred yards to the post-box and back!

WD 50.0.0 Scotty opened the door for me to get in, and I was so glad he was there, cause I’d not taken the key fob with me!

I know, I know! I’m a Yolop!

Still, Scotty and I had a little natter from a distance. Really enjoyed it, nowt serious and we had a laugh or two! He’d had to take a seat, to recover from carrying hos booze from the taxi. Hahaha! Jealousy showing up hear! Hehe!

6Sat24I got the one-day out-of-date beef in the oven. And for the next forty minutes or so updated this diary.

I closed everything down, drained but worried cause I thought I’d forgotten something important I had to do? Grobbledangerations!

6Sat28I still do now.

Got the nosh sorted out. Last of the fresh spuds, steak, a can of vegetables sausages and beans. The steak reminded me of when Dad went out into the yard and worked on his shoe mending cobbling lark. But he had an easier job to cut through the leather! Hehe! Rating 6/10.

I got the pots washed, took the medications, and settled in the recliner to watch a film on the TV. Dizzy Dennis, Shoulder Shuddering Shirley, and constant Thought Storms ruined things.

GM GreensLWD 0.50.0 2 04:00hrs: Woke up wanting a wee-wee. Staggered up to my feet, and over to the bucket, took a WUT (Weak-Unwilling-Trickling) wee-wee. It took me a while, unwilling to start and pass as it was, it also seemed reluctant to stop as well.

This gave me time to assess the ailments and plans of things to get done. In the forefront of thoughts was the getting through to the Zoom site. But having got a membership yesterday, I thought it would be okay this time. Duodenal Donald and Anne Gyna were seemingly the worsed of my attackers this morning, both on form and getting worse as the day went on. Unfortunately, this caused my usual old man’s grumpiness to turn to an annoying niggly grumpiness,  that was not doing a lot to help me cope with Donald and Anne Gyna, and a sport of resentment at my condition, helped the darkness to take over.

4Thu03aWD 0.50.0 2 As I walked with the single walking stick to the kitchen, some letters at the front door caught my attention. I investigated. I opened Corona Virus one, but there were five A4 pages of things, instructions, etc. I mustn’t read and digest all the much-repeated guidelines. About the virus and lock-down. I’ll get it digested when I get the time.

WD 0.50.0 2 The Anticoagulation Haemostasis Deep-Vein Arterial Thrombosis Clinic next. The Warfarin result, shown it down a tad at 2.4 this time. The next blood test is due not until Tue 15th May, in three weeks time. So, no Nurses to visit me for a while, this didn’t help my blackness.

WD 0.50.0 2 The last letter was from Ingeus, ‘Preparing You, for a healthier you.’ Huh!

4Thu19gThe mushrooms were put in the slow cooker on a low setting.

I got on the computer, was busying away twixt CorelDraw graphics and Wordressing updating the Wednesday post for many hours. Then Pinterested and Facebooked some photos. Emailed the link. Then off to get the Ablutions done.

4Thu04I had to hurry along a bit, as I was scared of missing the log-on time for the Ingeus, Zoom session. The legs looked a little pale, a contrast to how I felt, black and depressed, but couldn’t help it – it just persisted.

The dropsies during the ablutioning session were not overly too many. But getting freshened up and medicated, brought much aggravation and frustration to me! WD 0.50.0a 2 I knocked a lot of things off of the floor cabinet and proceeded to take some skin off of my knuckles, bang my head a few times, and dropped the picker-upperer while trying to retrieve the items. Ashamedly, I was getting angrier with myself, and more wound-up all the time! Duodenal Donald was getting annoyed with me, as well! The sorting things out took far too long, and I was in a-right pent-up and repressed mood, now! I got half-dressed and rushed to the computer with only minutes to spare.

3Wed14WD 0.50.0 2 I was in the middle of trying to log on Zoom when Sister Jane rang. I explained the state I was in and promised to ring back later.

I got through to my appropriate page, and I thought things were going well. Hahaha, Idiot!

4Thu07I put in the password as sent me by Ingeus and saved, with almost semi-confidence, I thought this is it, I’m getting online at last. Pillock!

WD 0.50.0 2 The password was rejected, and I was totally lost now. So I came out of Zoom altogether and tried again. I couldn’t get on Zoom at all after that!

WDPleft02WD 0.50.0 2 I sat there wondering what to try next, or if there was anything I could do at all! My depression deepened. Duodenal Donald got as bad as I have ever suffered, Anne Gyna continued to stab all over my upper torso. Dizzy Dennis put his bit in as well. My finding of words is not usually a problem for me, even if I can’t remember how to spell them and have to look the word up on Word Hippo. But how I felt at this moment could not be described, other than low and black.

WDP 2019AThis did not last for too long, mind. Somehow or other, after a period of self-analysis, and self-criticism, I fought off much of the blackness. By resigning to the fact that I no longer wanted to be put through the torment of Ingeus’s lack of support or cold responses, and the vagaries of the Zoom sight. Obviously, I am never going to master it, so why put myself through all the worry about it. I shall not even bother trying again. Thus, freeing myself a little, in the mind.

Of course, when the anti-empathetic staff call me, and they will, no doubt, I shall try not to listen to their useless read from a bit of some book advice or recommendations any more, and just tell them I am not up to trying anymore. If this causes diabetes to croak me out early, so be it. Anyway, the Coronavirus or any one of other my ailments can whip me away at any time.

WD 0.50.0 2 I do not need this hassle, cannot cope with it.  I can get myself all muddled up on my own, thank you. And Duodenal Donald and Ann Gyna are not easing off any, and now as I type this, Toothache Tim is kicking off again.

Thankfully, and I can’t figure out why, but Nicodemus’s Neuroltramitters, Hernia Harry, Reflux Roger, Rheumatoid Arthur Itis, Saccades Sandra, Trotsky Terence, Clopidogrel Clive, Thrombophlebitis-Fred, Shaking Shaun, and Peripheral Pete, Haemorrhoid Harold, Back-Pain Brenda and Impetigo-Imogen, each and every one of them, are in a good mood with me this morning! A united front, against the blackness.

I’ve no idea if my decision, or the very fact that I made a decision helped, but the blackness got easier, lighter to cope with. It was so late now, I planned the meal of the day and made a brew.

Looking out at the sky, brought and nourished my nephelococcygia and nephology to the fore. I could see so many things shaped in the clouds in each photograph too. I wonder, now I’ve cheered up a bit; can anyone can see the ghost, angel?

4Thu16I looked into what would be a good nosh menu. I moved the mushrooms from the slow cooker to the saucepan and put some petit pois in, to cook for three minutes.

WD 0.50.0 2 I managed to knock the jug and lid of the saucepan off of the counter onto the floor. It was easy to do for me, no bother Hehehe! The saucepan lid now has a dent in it. But I was not bothered in the slightest! I was coming out of a depression, by a planned route, and things were feeling so much easier now. A smug-mode was adopted!

Back to the junk room mark one, and rang Sister Jane back. Stuttering Stephanie intervened, and Reflux Roger too. Jane told me she had read Tim Price’s comment,  helping with the Zoom situation. I must have a look ASAP. But nae bother now, after a nattering session, I got on with getting some more computerisationing done. Still feeling even betterer!

4Thu02WD 0.50.0 2 I stopped for a while to study the letter from the Doctors in depth. I have been identified as someone who is at severe risk of severe illness if I catch Coronavirus. (Still no food parcels though) I am to stay at home for at least 12-weeks from today. No contact with anyone other than health workers who need to see me as a part of my healthcare.

They gave a number to ring, to get a Government support officer with my details. But my NHS number was repeatedly not recognised after several tries. (By gum, I’ve died, and no one told me!) Hahaha!

I rang Warden Deana to ask if she could assist, but it was too late, and she’d gone and couldn’t respond to the call. I left a message, which she will get in the morning, I imagine unless she is working here on Friday. So, I rang another number, Nottingham City Council, from the Doctors letter to ask for advice.

WD 0.50.0 2 The music was excellent when I got on the Council number waiting list. Twenty minutes later, after a repeated recorded message from someone, I couldn’t understand what the recorded said at first. But after about the fifteenth time it was played as I waited, I worked out it was telling me I had to registered to vote. When the lady answered, and quizzed me on my details, she said she would forward it to the Government number.

Still, I was not getting depressed again, things looked good.

WD 0.50.0 2 I added some stuff to the Morrison order for three or four weeks time. Then tried an Iceland order, but it was no go. No slots were available.

I could see through the windows of the balcony, I had a good few flies of some sort in there? I got the camera and ventured in to take some photos and investigate what they were. Curious!

4Thu17Off to the kitchen again. I made sure I had some and knew where it was stored, Maple Syrup to flavour the plain yoghourt with for later. I turned of the mushroom and peas heat.

Checked in the refrigerator to ensure the bacon was in there. Made jolly nice brew of tea, took some of the weak, insipid Peptac medicine, and 4Thu19fthen the evening tablets, and olive oiled the eardrums.

A quick check to make sure I can open the plain yoghourt lid. I’m not sure as it happens, but I think I should be able to master it. At least I hope I can. Hehe!

4Thu19dWell, it’s now four hours beyond my usual head-down time.

The sun is still out, and at last, I spotted a dog and owner outside, Haha! This mutt had the beating if its owner. As much as the bloke tried to rush the old dog along, it wasn’t having any of it. I fell in love with it!

4Thu19JBless him or her!

I got the sweet potato fritters cooking in the oven.

Then did a search for the latest Coronavirus results in Nottingham, the Country and for the East Midlands. Nottingham City seems to be doing better than many other areas.

I’m shattered now, all done in. But feeling a lot better now.

WD 0.50.0 2 I had a look at the advice from Tim Price on the terribly convoluted, to me, Zoom site. But it wasn’t there?

WD 0.50.0 2 From nowhere. Duodenal Donald burst forth with the most agonising stabbing and sharp, aching, pains. Come think of it, it was most likely in conjunction with Anne Gyna. I mused over whether I should be eating the sweet potato fritters or not, in 4Thu21my condition?

But my gluttony, allotriophagy, coenaculous, and phagomania won the day. I got the meal served up on the big blue oblong plastic plate that Lyzzi in America sent to me when I moved into the flat. ♥ A right feast it turned out to be, as well. 9/10 for the taste! Distressingly, this is the last of the sweet potato fritters for three weeks, when the next delivery is available from Morrisons. I just hope they have some in stock at the time!

Oh, the yoghourt was very thin and tasteless, but with a drop of the Maple Syrup mixed in, it was passable.

However, there was a nagging sense that Duodenal Donald was going to go on one of his rampages. No reasons as such, just that he had been more active today than for many a month. The uncomfortable sensation of positive expectancy lingered!

4Thu19kWD 0.50.0 2 Got the pots washed and had another review of the Sherringham Park Medical Practise instructions.

I phoned Sister Jane, to ask her to send me a copy of Tim Price’s comment on Zoom, but a connection was impossible, the line kept going dead after I’d dialled the number?

4Thu20Maybe, with the millions of folks at home, there was more of a demand for the lines?

WD 0.50.0 2 I fetched a bottle of the spring water with added orange cordial added. I took this snap of the evening sky. As Duodenal Donald kicked off again. Gruelling-Gromble-Garblisations!

WDP 003iWD 0.50.0 2 By the time I’d mounted the £300, second-hand, c1968, sickeningly beige-coloured, none-working, frayed, rickety, ready-for-recycling, rinky-dinked, rattling, rusty, resurrected, reconditioned, recalcitrant, recidivating and rotting-away recliner, and settled with the woolly hat pulled down over my eyes. In search of sleep, I realised it was mission impossible! The thought-storming, fretting, Duodenal Donald, and whoever was making the top-knock noisy somewhere, were my nemesis. A sort of retributive justice, for whatever I’d done wrong, and was revenging things with again denying me sleep!

WD 0.50.0 2 I got the specs on, dismounted the recliner, grabbed the stick and went to fetch a drink of spring water I’d flavoured from the kitchen. After a minute or two failed search for the bottle, it dawned on me that I had taken it through and put it handily on the Ottoman tray earlier! I was so iracundulous with myself! What an Eizel!

WD 0.50.0 2 Back and settled in the recliner again, went to turn on the TV, but could I find the remote control thingamajig? No! I freed my overly burdened with flab body from the recliner in search of the control stick. After a ferret around I found it on the floor between the chairs. Grabbed Jenny’s ♥ donated picker-upperer stick and retrieved it. Duodenal Donald kicked off again as I settled down once more.

WDP sleepLI started to watch a Kitchen Nightmare episode I’d not seen before, in between expelling oohs and argh’s in response to Donald’s refreshed activities. At the first set of adverts, I nodded off into a land of bliss!

I stayed like this (sleeping), for over five hours. It was good!
