I forgot, but I meant to.

WAKING UP – WORRA SHOCK!
06:05hrs: I could still taste the acidic flavourings of having had a Seizure. Not until I moved; then the pains revealed themselves. The knee scratch was hurting, the lower back, and the right ingrown toenail was giving me a fair bit of agony as I gingerly stood up.
Then fell down against the recliner and knocked ¾s of the stuff off of the ottoman. Then, as I got up, I noticed many other items, seemingly knocked in the direction of the bed. This made me think a nocturnal seizure must have happened earlier in the night. I started to lose things then. I mean, my grip on the situation. I honestly cannot recall what happened then, but when I floated back into semi-reality, I was mopping the kitchen floor! Using the
old-fashioned mop and bucket! of don’t recall fetching the mop or bucket, or filling and starting to use it. About half of the floor was already done.
I finished it, and most of the pain from the tumble evaporated. Apart from the leg wound and ingrown toenail hurting, I was as good as I’ve felt for ages. But I was not ready to use logic. I cleaned the mop & bucket, and got onto the Porcelain Throne. All this I can remember clearly. Particularly the evacuation. It took me ages to get it moving again this morning, and I had three mini-evacuations that needed painful urging of each torpedo. I bloody time cleaning up; that urged me to wash and apply the Germoloid cream.
Then, I got into a session of body washing and medicating where I could reach, shaving, doing the teeth, and medicating. The battle to get the protection pants was… well… horrendously stupid and painful.
Got the dressing gown on, and returned to the front room; I say that, but I’ve not got a back room. (Note the humour in this paragraph & blog?) That is because of how the Social Ladies visit went so well! 👍🏻

Carer arrived as I was taking some snaps of the view from the kitchen window. I finished taking them and was pleased with the results compared to how they looked
to the naked eye.
He was speaking to me from the other room, but I could not make out what he was saying. But guessed he was asking me what painkillers I needed. I went to the room I hadn’t been in for an hour or so and found he was asking that. I told him, and surprised him, that I didn’t need any, thank you. But got a surprise myself when I saw the things on the floor that I’d apparently knocked in my seizure and tumble.
He used the picker-upperer to collect them and put them back in the box. Then I asked him to put some non-medical heat salve on my back & shoulders, which he did. He made a decent job of it today. But did not do barrier cream or body checks, as Ejaz & Mirza do. Not that I’ve seen Mirza for weeks. I love those lads.

Limbs Transmogrificationalisation?
I think that my right leg is morphing into an alien’s or an ostrich’s leg!
The top half is going all chicken-leg-like.
The bottom half is gathering warts, bruises, red patches, spots. Pimples, a wart, a boil, and gone all misshapen. Both feet have shrunken, going brown, & vein-displaying. I can get into my soft slippers by myself right now! ![]()

Carer Ejaz, always welcome and pleased to see him, arrived. And set about issuing the medications; then he took the washing down to the laundrette.
Returning shortly, he spoke of the Social lady arriving in a few minutes, and the landline burst into life.
It was that lady, saying she was on her way, but would be a little later than she had arranged. No bother; I was looking forward to seeing her and hearing of her plans.

COMMETH THE SOCIAL LADY (Laura?)
Most of what was discussed in the nearly two-hour meeting has now gone into the ether. A pleasant, supportive discussion went well until I had a seizure. Memories before this incident are sparse. Almost like I’d had a sort of mind-wipe.
As soon as she departed, I asked Ejaz what was said that was important and that I needed to remember.
I made a point of thanking her; it’slovely when someone tries to help me; at this moment, my spirits rose wonderfully. Great!

Ejaz related that: I was asked if I would like an independent association to take over my finances for a small monthly charge. He didn’t say if I agreed,
Wonder if I did? Surely not? The lady would contact the Carers for me and ask if I could have Carers Ejaz, Mirza and Prem as my regular Carers. I do hope so. Apparently, I explained why I wanted them. Obviously, because they are so good, and the others are not. I explained that things aren’t getting done, and I know why: I have to go on all the medical calls; then they claw back their pay ratio by missing others off the roster. Seems natural to me.
Plenty of other subjects discussed that neither of us could remember. But Ejaz was in a hurry. He fetched the laundry back up, and as he was leaving, he saw me pick up the bag to hang up the clothes. He stopped me from bending and said to ask the next Carer to do it. Which I did. Caring chap!

Returning to this blog for an hour or so, and a Carer arrived. He was miraculously willing and did not go on his phone as much. Wonder if he heard about the meeting?
He even took a snap of me in my tork. Being a comedian, I posed for it. Hahaha!

YeeHaa! Carer Mirza came on the last call!
The Intercom was not working again! The lad rang three times, but I could not admit him. So, I went to the ground floor and into the lobby… but Mirza was not there. He must have rung NCC control to be let in. As I was going down, he was coming up. I got back up, and he was in the flat. Worra life!
But I didn’t mind; I was overjoyed to see him. It’s been three or four weeks since he called. I just hope that my beloved Social Lady can convince the Carer Company to send the three good ones to see me and increase the hours. Fingers Crossed on that! 🤞🏻 And remove the frustrations of not getting things done. Mizra didn’t have a lot of time with him, not getting in when he rang. I blame it; it never worked properly since it was installed. And I don’t blame the NCC. They have been good to me.

I got the meal prepared to go in the oven. He asked if I needed help with prepping the meal. He always asks. Gawd, I’ve missed him. Sometimes I struggle to open cans, can’t read instructions on the packets or tins. He does not put the nocturnal bag on unless I’ve had my meal earlier, for fear of me getting entangled in it and tripping or falling. I know I’ve just said it, but I pray the three lads can cater for me. Else I’ll lose them altogether if I’m moved to another care company. Bade him farewell.

Went to check on the meal and added some carrots I’d forgotten to put in the dish earlier.
Took a snap of the evening view; not a good one, but I’m not bothered, with today’s prospective good news.

None of the other expected callers arrived. Shame!

I’ll get the food now… I’ll be back in the morning.

What a cracking sunset snap!
Found it in the camera; hope it
is not from a previous day?
I can’t remember taking it.

Finished off this blog, but not until well past 10:30hrs on Wednesday morning. So, I’m unfortunately more than a little behind with things again.
