A cold balcony & misty morning!
A bit nippy when I opened the kitchen window!
Carer Chris, who brought my laundry back last night, arrived. Medications administered. Peptac & Paracetamol were taken this morning… that was because
was giving way pretty often. At least up to now, anyway. I pointed out the fictional line in the ode, where he hits me with a feather duster; he did larf!
I started to put last night’s laundry away.

The dressing gowns were still damp. So I hung them on the air warmer.
After blogging for an hour or so, I took this kitchen photographicalisation.
Surprisingly, IU found the day pouch needed emptying, so I did. It looked as if the blood streaks had gone, but it was still a smidge red and had bubbles… large ones this time in it. I took a second shot of the wonderfully clear now clouds. I saw a rabbit’s head and a spaceship in the sky while I was
there.
More blog work was done… but it was not helping my concentration, and the usual cock-ups and mistakes were rife. I’m taking ages to correct them; even now, I don’t know if it is.
The second Carer took this photo of the once again filled-up catheter day pouch…
Rang out.
It was the Vitamin B12 tablets. A year’s supply!
The flipping pouch needed emptying again.
The Carer took this photo, too. Not many folks get a picture taken of them by their Carer as he’s peeing… well, pretending to pee! Hehehe!
Another shot while the clouds were so perfect for picturing. I saw more things in this one.
I must phone the district nurses on Monday. To inform them of all the wee-weeing going on.
Getting late now. Another beautiful view was taken.
The sun goes down. Bootiful
Minutes later.
I think there was a fire somewhere later. I could hear a lot of klaxons and see red, blue and twos.Â
I think there is smoke in the photo above. It seemed to be in the Basford area again.
I missed this one I took earlier at the end of the car park mudslide.Â

Eating, over the years, is changing,
Had to stop alcoholic drinking,
After the heart op, limiting…
Brassica off the menu, heartbreaking,
No caulis or brussel sprouting,
Broccoli, kale “No Eating”,
Low in Vitamin B – could cause dying!
The doctor suggested Smoked Haddocking,
Which is high in Vitamin K, alarming,
Can’t eat that cause of the Warfarin!
Now Diabetes 2 is coming…
Now to cut down on bread, appalling!.
Potatoes too,Â
It makes me blue…
What can I do?
Come on… I’m asking you!
Oh, did you find the faults? The Two?

I’m not sure if this ever happened. I do not trust my memory anymore. Yet I dreamed of this last night, and to me, it was a real memory… but…
Woke up by Carer Chris.
And the left one, by Colin Cramps!.
Carer Chris removed the Nocturnal Night Pouch, and took the above photos for me.
Gorgeous skies.
Not passing much these last two hours, and I’d been guzzling the spring water?
Another view of the sky.
More bills arrived. Huh!
The afternoon brought the clouds out!
Nibble time.

I stirred reluctantly in mock life.
Removed the nocturnal catheter bag.
Wash and shave.
The legs & feet were looking okay.
The bloodless parts of the toes were seemingly getting larger in the area? The make on the right foot is actually, I think, a mark on the camera lens. But I tried to clean it off the other day without any success? It does not show up in dark areas, so I cunningly took the top photo upside down. Clever, eh? Or not.
A second attempt at evacuating from the rear end, and Trotsky had regained control. Last visit!
All done ablutionally and medicatingly, I tackled getting the Depend PPs on. I am not kidding; I reckon the whole operation took me about 5 minutes from start to finish! With some miracle, the pains from knees Arthur Itis and the two Cartilages were not too bad!Â
I made up some bottles of spring water (flavoured with cordials) for the day’s intake.Â
Sorted the waste bags.
I was gobsmacked to see that the Catheter Day Pouch had filled quickly. Oddly, the shade looked a little deeper as the day went on.
The landline rang
And very welcome she will be! ♥
At least it was a small one.
Baguettes, beans & bacon soup, Soda water, a can of minced beef, kitchen towels, and Worcestershire Sauce flavoured chip sticks. And…
Hot dogs, potatoes, rissoles & Lamb Patti!
I eventually discovered that I must have knocked it off the recliner arm, and it’s fallen into the control pouch outside the chair. Angry at myself but so pleased that I found it, I went to take a very late shot of the night from the kitchen.
Not a brilliant one, though.
Full again! And look at the dark colour?

I chose to float and did so. Landed back on the carpet and could hear Acker Bilk singing ‘Buona Sera, Señorita, Buona Sera’. Angels descended all around me, miniature-sized; my beloved lost cat Cyril was lying on the recliner, purring heavily; I could hear him clearly. I made my way to fuss him… And then I woke up!
food delivery arriving, Ocado this time. I can’t even remember making one with them. I need help with this problem.
Back to sort the food. Surimi sticks, fruit in pots, brown sauce, lemon desserts, lavender Dettol, lemon mousse, black bean
sauce and a can of ratatouille. I’ll try that tonight and see how it goes. Well, that’s the plan anyway.
Chunky vegetable soup, Lloyd tomato-type sauce with Mediterranean vegetables.
The two brown Italian tomatoes. came as three for a ridiculous price. But Ocado decided to send the pack with one of the ready-crushed semi-mashed and all runny. These brown tomatoes taste almost like meat; those I’ve had in the past have, anyway.Â
Carer Sam called. And Chris returned the laundry bag – Yee-Haa! It may have taken me a few days to get someone to take it, but it came back this week. That’s a positive improvement.
I got a landline call from the QMC Deep Vein Thrombosis & Anticoagulation teams Angel Nurse, Hristina. She will be calling on Monday for the next blood-taking test. ♥
I got the ratatouille in the saucepan and added some canned garden peas. I could not resist trying some as I put them in the pan. With the Lloyds sauce, Tomato with Mediterranean vegetables. I think I’m going to enjoy this one!

hours; There were no photos or notes to refer to until I found this evening shot. Not a good one, by the way.
Undoubtedly, it looked good, so I saw how it tasted. For once, no phone went, no carer called, and I ate nearly all of it with great relish and satisfaction!
Did you find the spectacles?

tube connected to Little Inchy; both for leaks and signs of bleeding. He found both! The release valve was dribbling bits of urine out. He pushed it over as hard as he could and was surprised when the leak stopped. As he moved his legs, agony!Â
I rose, still half-asleep despite my rude awakening, and went to get the kettle on in the kitchen. Which seemed a logical idea as that
was where the kettle was. I thought I might have seen Venus in the first shot of the sky. I took another one to try and catch it again, but it came out a little wobbly… which is what I became at that

Nocturnal urine was a bit lighter.
Started by sorting the waste bags into one.
The plan was to get a shower & shave, so I left off the leg and ankle straps when Carer Richard arrived. When I asked him not to put them on, I asked if he could please ring my landline, as I’d not had any calls coming in and was worried that Liberty-Global may have gone off again. I gave him the wrong number and cheered him up. He verbally suggested that I was a nuisance – he was right. I found the correct number, and he rang again; the first one I gave him was for the Audio Clinic. Tsk! The landline rang. Thus, it made me feel much better that no one had rung me for four days. Humph! Sulk! Hehe!
I am off to the wet room for the only visit up till now of this very wet, rainy Thursday.
Hey-Ho!
I took a half-decent shot to the moon as I made a brew of Glengettie…

Later, I spotted a chap from the flats on his disability scooter going up the gravel path to the park. He was driving along like Stirling Moss. The legal limit for these is 8 mph, but he was rattling away at well over that speed and uphill. If I get one, I’ll ask him where he got this one from.
.
.
Not good this one…
Not good, but better than the first?
Ah, well!
I didn’t, and not much wiser now that I’ve seen the rings on this explanation, what’s different about the yellow glove? Ah, I’ve gorrit now!
Bread at last!
The tomato sauce I ordered turned out to be something else. It warned on the label that it was an extra pungent chilli sauce. I’ll give that away!
The Danish loaf (substituted for Milk Roll bread) was eaten later with the evening meal.
I put some honeyed parsnips in the oven. And a can of curried beans, with tomato & basil sauce, and a suitable splashing of the Beetroot Borscht into the pan.
Adding some gammon slices cut up.

05:00hrs: Hence, the colour of the urine when I got up in the day bag, was far too deep. Humph!
Meandered into the kitchenette, got the kettle on, and tried for a change, to take a decent morning photograph.
They were of my usual standard – rubbish!
Made up a waste bag from the others, and as I placed it near the front door, I had to hasten… well, hobble swiftly to the wet room for the morning session.
Gorblimey, that was messy again!
The first one wasn’t…
The second is even worse.

It’s surprising how my bad eyes can easily miss bits of dried-on gumph when scrubbing away in the oven.
I’ve not recorded many because I had no internet to record them on. Hello…
I sorted out the waste bags.
Got some small potatoes on the crock-pot. I added a good splash of sea salt and a sprinkling of the gorgeous-tasting
seasoning. Not unlike Worcestershire sauce, a little less intense, but the flavour lingers on the tongue more.

It should be a quicker and safer task today. No need for me to get dressed afterwards… well, slippers, a quilt, and a dressing gown are all I shall adorn.

As I unscrewed the cap, a third of the contents sprayed out! Onto the computer keyboard, the leg bandaging, the recliner, the clean dressing down and my chest, face and hands, and the carpet, for many feet away!
