Inchy: Fri 10 Nov 23 No Help-Alarm Now!

– – – – IN THREE MINUTES – – – –

Well, well, well! Another series of cock-ups, disappointments, failures, frustrations and a fair share of self-misanthropicalness thrown in today, Again!
The landline telephone that went down yesterday brought more worry again today. After trying to press the Alarm Alert button while Carer Sam was here, the Panic Alarm was not connecting either! Carer Sam said she’d tell someone about it.
A fine time to take a tumble or go arse-over-tit, innit?
This, along with , bringing tablets back up. Bring up vicious winds. Ever present & the mind-killing carping on at me, it was another frustrating, barely tolerable day at moments. With misappropriate, miscomprehending mental mind meanderings, making anything simple seemed to be a mountain to tackle! Messy!
I felt pitiful, self-critical one moment, then snivelling psychologically damaged erk the next. Later, despite the concerns and worries, I’d find myself singing 1962 songs, and it seemed, genuinely unbothered about things? But somehow, I knew at that time, in the back of my so-called mind, that this would crumble again soon, and the loathed, nay, feared, opens the barn door for , and the cycle of freeing myself from his grip begins again. I seem to do this in auto mode; the short-term memory can have greatly opposite benefits, as in this case. Conversely, mega-frustration and self-criticism can develop when you genuinely cannot recall what you were doing or going to do. When the turn into a , then the tormenting bafflements sink in.
I can never forget what I was doing before the blank period. Sort of coming around or back into focus, often hours later, the interim time’s activities are lost forever.
When the Doctor calls me next Wednesday, I hope to have made a list of my ailments and problems, possibly with the help of , if possible. So I don’t miss anything off the notes that may need mentioning. Later on today, I got a call from the Doctor’s surgery. I couldn’t hear who it was, but some medico would call on me in the morning on the 4th of December. (Mobile or in person?)
Another took over when I realised that, yet again, I got the order from Asda all wrong. I’d have bet money on double-checking and finding it right, but no! I intended and thought I’d ordered it for next Thursday. It came this morning! Can I get any help with this problem? Of course not. One becomes aware of The mind’s fallibilities whenever Doreen Dementia… No, I forgot, nowadays it is, of course, it’s who’s the culprit, the brain-slayer. Yet, here I am writing away, with problems from failing, typing and sensing with the finger ends, which causes some complicated issues with the computer at times. However, at this moment, my brain seems concentrated on what I’m doing? These odd moments of semi-clarity never last for long; they never do. Sadly.
Another thing that amazes me even more is how I can still do the silly Odes. They seem to flow from my distorted brain quickly enough.
Typing them can be frustrating, but not the creating? Ah, there is one problem I do often have is: when I get an idea for a funny line and have to check nowadays to see if the word is suitable, spelt right, and rhymes, I’ve forgotten what I was going to write on that line using the aforementioned words or words. Yet the ideas still come without much prompting? I mentioned this once to the lady at the bonkers hospital meeting. I do not think I got any acknowledgement or response.
is constantly with me. Day and sometimes wakes me up at night to have a go at me for my failings, past guilts, wrong decisions, etc.
A new worry to add to the list: The telephone has stopped working. Today, I tried to test the Emergency Wrist Alarm. That is not working either! Now, this does worry me. He was with me at the time this failure occurred. She told me she’d mention it to someone. But being a Friday afternoon, and the Wardens leaving soon for the weekend, my hopes of getting any help are minimal… or slightly less, of getting anything done about the problem before next week!
Now that I’ve mentioned this on the blog, my worry mode has kicked in. What if I do have a tumble, a bad cut, another stroke or get a panic attack? How can I summon help other than with the mobile phone, which is not easy to use nowadays anyway? I will always try to remember to keep the Nokia with me while there is no Alarm to raise for help. But naturally, for me, remembering is not going to be easy. So, if the blog suddenly stops, the reason may well be that I’ve collapsed and died slowly, an overweight, crumpled heap on the carpet, over the weekend in agony. Oh, no, the Carers will call. They know or should have been told of my high-risk factor with no way of summoning help and may make extra checks on me; bless them. So, if they forgot to tell the Wardens or the Wardens had gone home before they got there, it would be Monday before they could be informed of my plight. Then, wait for the Nottingham City Homes to be informed and respond. I don’t intend to have another stroke, heart attack, panic attack or bleed to death, but just in case, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank them all now for the care and attention they have showered me with. My Money is in the wet room, under the stack of Depend Protection Pants on the floor cabinet… first comes first, Gerrit! Hahaha!

On with the day’s photographicalisationings

Don’t recall why I took two of these?
But I took them, so I put them on.

Morning view.

Rotten photo of the rotten-tasting mug of tea.

Selected small Anya potatoes in the crock pot.

I forgot to ask the Carer to put the back on for me. Plonker!

Self-medicationings attended to.
Some painfully, so. Haha!

I did it again. Ordered Asda for the wrong day!
I was sure I’d ordered it for next Friday, too!
The fridge and freezer were well stocked. Tsk!
I put the pressies in a box and placed the pyjama bottom that I could no longer get into on top to disguise what was inside and stop anyone from spoiling the surprise.
Crafty!

Lightening up now.

Blogging away…
arrived. Bringing some prescription medications and a bag from the District Nurse’s clinic.

More ankle straps and leg strappings.

And a pair of ‘All-Purpose Boots’ for me.

These could be to replace the ankle straps?
But I couldn’t manage to get them on myself.
Too many Kelva and complicated fitting are needed.
Maybe this is about the Medico coming to see me?

Eerie early evening sky.
(Say that when you’ve had a few) Hehe!

Hog pork pie in the meal.

Just after sunset.

I forgot to ask him to put the on.

FARE THEE WELL!

Inchy: Thurs 26 Oct 23 – Daytime spent sleeping not awake. Covid arm painful

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

My memories of Thursday (Now, Friday morning, and nothing done on this blog yet!), are not too good or comprehensive. Vagueness would be the word to use.
The Covid-19nd right arm was in agony all day without a break. Even worse, I had to use the sticks in my left hand, the right being too painful to use.
The sleep was broken, and although the early morning memory seemed better, the hours spent sleeping, or I should say trying to, and I spent so many hours throughout the day, because I just could not stay awake. The thoughtstorms or right arm pains ensured that getting any worthwhile rest was impossible. I’m unsure which Carers called, although Carer Maryham (Teatime) was clear enough. I tried using the computer, but it was no good. And got down yet again in the recliner after she’d gone. Carer Benjamin (I think) did the last check. No nocturnal night bags yet for the catheter, which meant I was still unable to get to sleep then. Thought Storms, the arm, and having to get up to empty the small day pouch on the catheter so often... I did take many photos I found on the SD card this morning (Fri); some I have no recall of taking, others, mostly the morning ones, I can recollect. I’ve got to catch up with this blog now. Nothing had been done to it yet, apart from this intro written on the notepad?
Not one of my better days.

These, I took when I got up;
03:00rs: The end car park.
0400hrs:
Terrible photography!

This shot was supposed to be of Venus, the only thing showing in the sky. Another bad effort.
Not surprised, though, by the state I was in.

No idea why!

Ah, I did catch Venus, after all, in a long shot?

Can’t recall taking this one, or when.

Sometime in the day, in one of my frequent waking-ups, I took this one of the end car park mud-slides.
Might have been when a Carer came?

I forced myself out of one of many nodding-off, and back on the computer to reply to a WordPress Prompt. It took me ages, had to search to find the cheesy potato pictures to use in the blog. At this stage, I thought, well, IK struggled but got it done… I think the sleep demands are fading…
But the only thing that faded, was me back into a broken-up, annoyingly waking every few minutes and nodding off again, sleep. (but every bit helps, I reckon)

A massive four hours out of it, with broken patches of sleep, in which I did not leave the c1966, £300 Oxfam charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, crumb-covered from my nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, positively unhealthy & dangerous, no longer operational, virus-breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, Catheter-tube-trapping, recliner.
I must have known this was coming. I’d moved the jug to empty my into, and half-filled it, despite not drinking any water for so long? This decided me to ask the nurse to request a Permanent Catheter be fitted. The flow into the bag and the amount left in the bladder must be a sign for them to give up punishing me with this Catheter for over a year now. The supposedly monthly removal of everything to give me a chance to wee-wee manually; has only been done thrice in the year it’s been in. Every time they scanned the bladder, the day after removal. the bladder has been a third full after my weeing. And believe me, passing manually the last time, was sheer agony!

Chronically bad night shots.
Blurry…
Blurry.
Blurrier.
Really, really Blurrier!
I am a silly blurrier! HaHa!

Spent another night of nodding, jumping awake in pain, emptying the pouch… and for tonight, coughing to boot!

Am I Worried?

Keep Well, and Have a Great day!

The optimum words for describing today’s events:
Shambolic-Failures, Messy, Ignominious & Frustrating!
I can’t think of anything that went as planned?
The trip to town to get some Blepharitis Eye Gel, pads and Eye Spray, was futile! I got the timing of the bus wrong and waited for 36 minutes at the bus stop going. The Nottingham Citizenry in town, were as depressed as I’ve ever seen them. The pavement scooterers and cyclers seemed intent on making me as nervous as possible with the near misses from having my over. Boots, Wilko and even the Poundland shop visited in search of equivalent products failed! No anti-diarrhoea capsules, no Worcester Sauce nibbles, no affordable Germolene or Germoloid. Wilko must be closing down, the y didn’t have any kitchen towels in stock at all! The previously £3.25 Germolene at Boots, was now £6.29 for a 22g tube! It wore me out in B’s, trying see someone to help me with the confusing array of different products for the eyes – I gave up in the end!
On the bright side, I didn’t trip or fall getting onto or off the buses today. Coming home was a close call, mind.
No blogging as such done, so had to get up in the morning at 03:30hrs to get this updated.
Just time to whip in the photos with a few remembered details.
Utter Failure!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A good start though…
Excellent coloured urine in the night pouch.

Into the kitchenette…
Tried to take a better morning view.

Took this shot of the flea-pit as I gathered the things needed for the trip later into Nottingham.

As Carer Kara say’s the new reading glasses will take some getting used to. She was right!

Had a few hours on the Wednesday blog updating. Eventually getting it finished and posted… but it was hard work with the new glasses and of course…
Gave up and continued with the
Just three . A semi-tumble in the shower, leading a hal-hearted head butting of the left grab bar.

Kara who called earlier did the midday visit, and I turned off the computer. I got the body medicationings done, and I consciously used less olive oil in the ears, Germoloid on the bum, and Germolene on the lesion and papules. My EQ told me I was not going to get any on the trip out. He was right, too!

SET OUT TO BUS STOP TO NOTTINGHAM
I met a resident and chatted with her on the forecourt. She pointed out that Carer Kara was giving me a wave from a high window in Winwood Court. ♥
Got to the bus stop and realised I had a time top wait.
The traffic island was in a bad state.
Looked like someone had pulled up some plants. Tyre marks on the once frass soil. Debris and waste dropped or blown on it.

When I got into the city centre, this is the first photo I took – and unfortunately the last. Despite my thinking I had taken several more, about ten I think of different area, for some reason, and I can’t figure out why, none of them were on SD card in the morning? The when I got back to the flat ones and later were though. A mystery as to what I’d done wrong?
I’ve mentioned the farcical shopping efforts, so will start with my return journey. The thought of my failing to so many things I wanted to, and not being sure if I had bought the right ones of those I did find in Boots, is embarrassing!

After my stubble from the bus (I didn’t go down!)
I made my way slowly to Woodthorpe Court.

Part of Winwood Court.
Paved walking area between courts.
Got inside and made my way up to the flat.
Feeling a little disheartened at the state of the shops, and thought to myself, “Well that was a waste of time!”

Got in the flat, having seen not a single person on my way.
More beautiful puffer clouds on the horizon again.
Something peaceful, relaxing about these?

Got the shoes off, they seem to have gelled to the feet. Hehe!
The pouch had soon filled up again after I emptied it when I got inside the apartment. Come think of it though, I had started guzzling the soda water again, the get the bladder going, as instructed by the medicos.

Aha, at the last of the day(2nd) mug of Glengettie tea!

I got the receipts out of the bag. Boy had I spent a fortune with all the massive price increases at Boots
This little lot for the eyes cost me £64!
I’m not sure that I bought the right Blepha either. This one had SOL on it, the other I’m using from the optician, has GEL?

The meal tasted Grrreat!
Flavour-Rating 9/10!

Much needed after what was for me, a hectic, getting upright and annoyed with things day! I think I must have looked a little mentally and physically battered, cause the care didn’t stay as long as usual… not that I can recall much of the visits.

I nodded off without any problems. Must have slept peacefully for about five hours of bliss… then… started, and knowing that this blog would need updating, I made an early start – and has only been down once up to now!
So I’m glad that I started early (03:30hrs )while the internet was behaving itself for once.
It still took me a lot of mistakes and self-confusion until nearly 12:00hrs to get it done though. Hey-Ho!

I’ll ask the morning caller if they might call the Doctors for me, to ask if I can get some Blepharitis gel for the eyes, And Rear-end medications for .

TTFNski, Each!

Inchie Today: Thursday 15th December 2022

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

06:00hrs: I looked at the clock and realised I didn’t want a wee-wee – this is the first day’s awakening for months that I didn’t want a pee on stirring back into resat life! All very confusing! Nonplussing!

started to kick off straight away, might be the late medications yesterday? But she’s been much worse, only short stabbing pains at the moment. It does not last for long, with plenty of breaks in between.

I rose from the £300, bought nine years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly, sickeningly beige-coloured, many crumb-containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, caught my balance, grabbed 4-pronged Metal Micky, and off to checks the taps and get the kettle on for a brew.

I tried to get some decent photographs of the pretty morning view. I don’t think I id too well, do you? Haha!

Housewife Mode-Engaged! I set to getting the waste badges sorted out. Cleaned the sink area… well, tidied it up a bit, then! Got some more paper towels out to use and made a brew of Glengettie tea. Took the mug to the computer and checked for any messages or comments that may have come in from my hundreds of blog fans throughout the world. I answered them both.

During this, I kept hearing the oddest noises and thought it might be someone knocking on the door. I should have known, of course – it was the Herbert in the flat above giving me a concert of tap-tapping, knock-knocking with the odd loud crunching sound thrown in for good measure. I have to put up with this noise every single day, and at the weekend, it gets even worse. Still, no hard feelings, after all, as the Nottingham City Homes manager said to me: “He’s a wonderful man and makes steam engines for the school…” Nuff said. That was seven years of noisy hell ago. I wish him no harm, do not place curses on him, refuse to give him a neck-chop when I get near enough to him, swear about him, or hate him… just the noise he makes so regularly. I hope whatever it is he’s making comes out well. And the children, he seems to like, enjoy them.

As I moved on to updating the Inchie Today for yesterday, I heard a noise that sounded to my ears like firecrackers; it kept on for a few minutes, and I just had to have a look around in case someone was at the door or something may have fallen over. I had a momentary vision of an alien sliming along into Do-No-Wrong, noisy, snotty Herbert’s flat and slowly eating him alive. This cheered me up a bit; no harm in having a dream? Naturally, the noise was coming from the flat above. He got but more violent with it this time. Thuds bangs, and somehow, with tap-tapping in the background this time. Damned clever chap! I gave a tap or two with Metal-Micky’s handle on the high bookcase in return. He just carried on.

announced the arrival of . He got the medications sorted alright, and we had a little chat. He checked the taps and cooker on his way out with the waste bags for me. Nice lad!

I made up a bottle of spring water and added some lime juice, went to put it in the cubby-hole on the Hopewell’s 1963-built, falling to pieces, E-Plan Sideboard. Where I espied the Carers & Nurses Christmas bottle for them to choose. I must remember to ask a carer if there are any more names to go down.

The unfriendly,  bumptious, toffee-nosed, self-important, snotty-nosed, condescending, sanctimonious animal in the flat above has never been as persistently noisy as he is today. If I meet up with him, he could just be ready for a fall! I am not a violent person, but many years of putting up with this protected by the Council Management turd; is getting to me now!
There will be a clash coming unless he cuts down on the banging about soon! The pococurante, dismissive, disrespectful, git… will no doubt lose out in any conflict, despite his grandeur and overconfidence, and I will end up in prison… the Prison Hospital, I hope. Then I might get the Dementia, DVT vein, and Cataracts seen too? And a new PC to work on? Be fed meals?
Sounds good to me. Sorry Herbert, this is your last warning! (It’s not really; he’s in no danger from me).

Arrived to do a quick check-up and Client Review. And during the questioning and answering session, witnessed the noise that I was suffering from the flat above! As for myself, I can never tell if it’s him or someone banging on the door! I explained this to Kara. This is why I do not wear the hearing-aids when in the flat. Unfortunately, I can’t hear the fire alarm either, then.
But it doesn’t matter as long as Herbert can get away with such antisocial behaviour and him being immune from doing any wrong… the nasty, noisy bully.
Now then, can I remember the recipe from Grandma Griselda? Toad’s legs curdled with the blood of a Vampire, 2oz of Basil, 1 litre of Double strength bleach, and a tablespoon of TCP. Oh, what were the other ingredients? Eye of a newt and toe of a frog, the Wool of a bat and the tongue of a dog…
No, hang on… Am I getting mixed up with Macbeth? Hehehe!

At last, a decent mug of Thompson’s Punjana and three biscuits to dunk in it. By gum, this is a good life!
Hahaha!

Arrived, and he got me sorted out with the medications. I dropped one… Fool? Me? Yes! We couldn’t find it, but worked out it was a Codeine 30g, and although we were low on many tablets, plenty of them remained, so he gave me another one.

That git upstairs is driving me mad with the tapping and knocking.
It’s not doing my health or temper any good! It won’t do him a lot of good when I meet him again! The ignorant &^%stard!

I foolishly went on Amazon to see if they had any small Air-Fryers on offer – and ended up ordering one. There’s no stopping my sinking bank balance or stupidity!
.
I went to get the kettle on again and took these photographs of the front car park. The left one to the right, the right one to the left… I think. Hehe!

Then Spend-the-lot Inchie actually went back onto Amazon and ordered a new keyboard. I’ve got to stop doing this!
I am so angry with myself – I could almost cry!
What the hell is the matter with me?
No need to answer that, folks; I’ve a sneaky feeling that I know, but not keen on admitting it, if you know what I mean… which is probably more than I know!

Nearly 18:00hrs and the Perfect-One, protected and adored by the management of Nottingham City Homes, is off again with his banging away! With any luck, he’ll have a heart attack before I see him again and save me from getting arrested for GBH. It’s a living hell! But I don’t truly mind a single bit. It’s all said in fun…

Oh! I’ve done the . I’d better get them done then…

Dang and bother and . I’m back in the Hypertension Red-1 zone again. Think I got spoilt with two days in the HIGH-NORMAL Pink. Hehe! Still, it’s been worse.

I was making slow headway with this blog, but better than none. Meant another long day for this old man. Hey-Ho!

Not has anything to eat yer, apart from three biscuits. I went into the kitchen to get the cooker oven heating up. And I was so glad I did; for the red moon was going down on the horizon; quickly too.

The results were very pleasing for once.
Of course, I forgot all about putting the oven on.

Great balls of fire! He’s off again. A mechanical concert of bangs, tap-tapping and the odd clunk in between!

I went back to the computer and realised I was missing my beloved ‘Heartbeat’ on TV channel 10. Did some more updating of this blog while half-listening to Heartbeat… I don’t put it on loud cause being a much better and less snotty A-hole than, let’s say, Fart-Breath, living above, and I don’t like to make noise and disturb my neighbours. Grumph!

An hour or so after taking the photos of the sunsetting, I then noted that I had not put the oven on after all. So I did.

It wasn’t really a depression I’d sunk into; more a moment of self-disgust and or loathing… no, it was depression. Tsk!

Got the nosh sorted out, well-gone 20:00hrs now… Oh, no, gone 21:00hrs! At last, the noise from above had ceased – but I’m anticipating it starting again, like last night at gone 22:00hrs.

NOSH TIME COMETH:
A decent-looking nosh, but unfortunately, the photo and all taken since were recorded on the Lumix without my having a memory card in it. I’d left it on the computer yet again.
Flavour Rating: 8/10.

Woke me; I noted I’d fallen asleep watching Heartbeat; I’m missing more than I had watched lately. Thanks to turd-face up above, wearing me down with all his bashing and banging about, I’m so tired. Jo-Anne got the medications sorted as I was about to eat the meal. Left a pot of Lumix for me to take after the meal. We had a natter and insisted she selected her choice of thank you drink. Went with her to lock the door, and she took the waste bag with her to the chute on her way out.

ODE OF THE DAY

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

NEMO MORTALIUM OMINBUS HORIS SAPIT

04;30hrs: I woke, but not time for  Thought Storms, self-pitying, or passing the usual wind… For the  was desperately needed, I frantically farted about and somehow made it to the Throne in time, just. The evacuation took about 30 seconds, and it was all over. Minor bleeding, but not a lot. No effort from me was needed; it was all passed in auto-mode.
Besides the regulation cuts shaving, everything went so well that it worried me. However, on leaving the wet room, I did a Master-Class Top Quality, Damned painfully . Right on the edge of the door as I was closing it! Of course, it didn’t bother me at all, being the brave, heroic sort of young man that I am. Ahem!

Off to the kitchenette to make a brew of J. Sainsbury’s Extra Strong Brown Label tea.

But the morning’s views from the window caught my good eye.
It was raining and appeared so different to what it normally is.
Out came the Lumix; I offered up a prayer that it would fail me again and took these shots. The second one was taken through the bottom portion of the window. I tried different modes from the SCN options. But didn’t do very well. Although the last one was not too bad, I’m not claiming it is good, mind you.

As I was taking the last shot, an even more urgent than the first one needed for the
. This time a totally changed mode of evacuation again! Rock hard, reluctant and bloody painful. The cracks in the ceiling counted up to 46 this visit.
I spent an hour updating the Thursday blog and a further 45 minutes putting photographs on Pinterest.

Then got the seen, starting with the temperature and Blood Pressure. Roughly the same as yesterday’s results.
The NHS site indicated that the Blood Pressure was almost down in the Amber zone. The Excel graphs have broken the run of reds, and it looks much better now!

The Body Temperature has come down nicely, too! It’s taken a while for it to tumble… but all fine now!

I checked the flat repeatedly for safely leaving, lights, oven, windows, taps, heaters etc.

Jodie arrived and got the medications sorted out for me. The regulation treats accepted. ♥

Herbert above was giving me some banging, tapping and knocking. But I knew I’d soon be going out, so it didn’t bother me so much.

Then I spotted how the weather had changed so quickly. To fog!

As it turned out, I foolishly got the Lumix out of my coat pocket to take these two pictures. The first straight ahead, and the second one of the car park below on Chestnut Walk.

Oh, I’d better get ready for the bus trip. Tried to make sure I’d got everything needed, pen, mobile, hearing-aids and batteries… but I’ll tell you now, I forgot to put the camera back in my pocket!

I got down and waited for the EasyLink bus. The lady was lovely, and we chatted, and we were soon in Riverside, Bulwell. As she dropped me off, she said the pick-up was at 15:30hrs! I was sure Deana had asked them to make it for 13:30hrs? The lady said just ring us if you want it earlier, and if we can, we will do it. Fair enough. Of course, I forgot to ask her for the number!

Up in the lift, and all the others were in the room, the meeting was starting. I gave a cheery “Good morning each”, displaying my bestest smile. Humph! No one answered.
The usual thing was that so many of us could not hear everything the tutor was saying. He just carried on in the same tone when I pointed this out.
When he was talking about the exercise details of what we need to do… I could not resist letting myself talk out: “Well, on Wednesday, my morning Carer arrived just after I’d collapsed onto the floor… I went down to get the bus that did not arrive. I went back up to the flat, took off my outer clothes, and rang Easy-Link, who told me they were due at 10:00hrs. I dashed about to get dressed again. Caught the bus to the doctor, who told me that I didn’t have an appointment today. The Doctor gave me the flu jab. I had to walk back to Sherwood. Catching the bus back up the hill, I missed the step. The driver and passengers got me back on my feet. Now, I think that was a reasonable amount of exercise, bearing in mind that I had a fight with the sock glide and lost when I got into the flat? (I kept a straight face throughout) And I got the best bout of laughter from the patients for it! Although a couple on the other side just furrowed their brows and looked confused, the educator Nathaniel’s glare should really have melted me on the spot!
The best moment of the day for me, this was!

But, of course, there were bad things on the horizon going to happen that would send me back into a Dracula Depression.

I was last to leave and made my way in the windy weather that had got up into Bulwell Market to have a delve into the shops.
Going into the shops was a mistake. A shopaholic should never risk it when he has his bank card. A financial disaster! In the B&M store, I got some drinks for the nurses, Wardens and Carers. Different ones, I like to tweak their interest. I came out of the shop with two big bags full of stuff! Babycham, cokes, disinfectant, snacks, chocolates, mini wines, and biscuits (A lot of them!)
As I turned from the checkout and the dangerously overloaded with the two bags hanging on the handles of the walker, I realised there was a min-rainstorm out there!

I was soaked to the skin in minutes. People were running into shops to escape the wind and rain, and the Market Stalls were abandoned. I got out the umbrella, and with needing both hands to control the walker-trolley in the howling wind, this was an impossibility. So I just had to get wetterer!
What could I do? So I went into the Heron Foods store. I came out with non-alcoholic drinks (I0), a Korean black bean Chilli. (I still don’t know why I did that), lemon desserts, black bags and Skinny Whips for the Carers. Came out, and the rain and wind were no better, so I took cover in the Iceland Shop. Tsk! Black bags, rice, Orange flavoured Wagon Wheels (they were for me!), Zoflora, and Party Ring biscuits.

This is where I thought I could get some smashing shots of the abandoned stalls, people running this way and that, and the atrocious weather. I got outside again, and the weather was worse than ever! The Market Place looked like a bomb site as the wind blew the emptied stalls all over. I tried to hasten back to the shelter of the Riverside Venue to get under cover, at least. But controlling the three-wheeler with all that weight on it, there was more weight now as the carrier bags filled with rainwater! Then I realised I’d forgotten to take the camera with me! Wot an Idiot!

Fighting to keep control, I walked into a massive puddle; I had no choice in the matter. The way the wind went, so did I! The shoes filled up with the cold rain. Eventually, I got into the building. And walked through to the car park entrance. Checked the time, and I still had over an hour to wait for the Easy-Link bus to arrive.

The waiting area inside had these massive automatic sliding doors for exit and ingress. The rain and wind continued! And those sliding doors never stopped opening and closing, even when no one was near them. I was chilled to the bone, wet and miserable.

Also, when I got the crossword book out to have a go at during my marathon wait for the lift, it was soaked through. Not surprising, really. But it did annoy me a bit.

When the minibus arrived, and the driver chap came in, boy was I happy! I could have kissed him, but didn’t! He was not a natural natterer, so a silent journey, apart from me talking. But, he cheered up when we got back to the flats. When I gave him a choice of drinkies from the trolley bag.

All I wanted to do, was to get a mug of tea and dried off. BUT NO!
There in the foyer, hands on her hips and looking threatening was Warden Julie. “They’re waiting for you in the salon, you’ve got yer feet appointed, and that was for over an hour ago!”
I couldn’t argue or even bother to explain the reason for my being late; I was drained and very damp. She kindly frog-marched to the salon. Not really, but it sounded good, dinnit? Just walked with the dripping trolley and soaked all over in the squelching shoes as fast as I could to the salon.
I don’t think the nail-cutter was very happy at having to stay on longer to do me. I did explain to her why I was late, but it didn’t raise a smile, get me out of her hatred zone, or even get any comment after telling her.
She did speak to me after cutting two of my toes. She only nobbled one last time? She told me I  now had two ingrowing toenails. From start to finish, she did the job in less than five minutes? I was certainly in pain from the normal toenails she cut; the last toe that she cut; made me jump. I said a naughty word! Shame!
Usually, I offer them a drinkie, but the cans were in the water in the carrier bags, and I didn’t know which one anyway. I’ll take some down for them next week. Paid the £25 demanded, with my last £30. Telling the lady at the desk, who owns the salon, about how I struggle to find pound coins to pay the Easy-Link with, and she gave me Five coins instead of a fiver. x

Got back into the flat at long last. Got the wet clothes off, drained the carrier bags, and sorted out the purchases bought.
Disinfectants wot I got. The Fabulosa washing scent stuff stunk awful to me, but the Carer loved it?

Ah, the treats here, each and every one a new variety. No, they are!

I can’t understand why I bought those Mexican beans in chilli? They’re bound to be too hot for me! That Dairy-Free spread looks worth a try.

Chestnut mushrooms. Sausages for Richard on Monday, and I’m looking forward to trying that Korean BBQ-flavoured rice. I’ll ask Richard to help me break them up.
I got on the computer about six hours ago, and am still on it doing this blog, now. Apart from when Sam (I think) called. Some names I can remember… but not many. Got me sorted and chose one of the new drinkies and a Chunky White Milky Bar for nibbles in thanks.

I pressed on until I started getting the shivers, obviously, from getting soaked through earlier.
I shall get something to eat and call it quits. I’ll have to finish this in the morning… There’s a thought, I hope I get a Carer, it’s Saturday innit tomorrow.
Back in the morning… I hope!

A sad meal was made up. A veggie burger on three uncut sliced cobs, and I sliced up some of Jenny’s donated tomatoes. ♥ And a banana for afters. Not the best looking or appetizing meals I’ve done, but I was in pain and so weary. The Taste-Rating of 3.5/10. But most likely, this low score was due to my state of Health. I can’t smell things very well now with the cold coming on. I’m still shivering cold, sniffling, stabbing away at me, and the feet are so painful, it’s hard to believe! To counter the discomfort, I took an extra Codeine and a Hemp capsule. Sleep will help as much as anything, I think. After the care calls, I’ll get myself settled in the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-producing, smell-retaining, gungy beige coloured, none-working, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner, and if it’s not on, turn on the TV, in hopes that it will help me get to sleep. It normally does; I’ll nod off when the commercials come on screen.

Ad KI was checking the SD file before turning off the computer, and I found the one on the left was on the SD card.

The Mystery Photo of the Month?

I know what I think it might have just been, but that would have been a physical impossibility. Does anyone have any thoughts on the subject? Obviously, a shot was taken by mistake?

18:25hrs: Jodie, I think it was, but you never know for sure – Well, I don’t anyway! Sad, innit? I was watching an episode of ‘Heartbeat’ at the time she arrived, and I was almost dropping off. Hehehe!
Got the tablets issued. The Carer put my socks on… not on herself, on me. Hehe! I think I’ve made a mess of this? Might have been Sam? We had a chat then, she chose some treats, and she took the waste bag to the chute on her way out.

I settled to watch the second episode of Heartbeat. During which I estimate I nodded off about eight or nine times. Ruined the viewing.
The next time I woke up was about an hour later.
I turned off the TV, assured now that I would soon be in the Land of Nod within minutes, which I was!

, I bounded back awake, convinced I’d left the hot water tap running! I rose painfully onto my feet. The feet and toes were giving me some bother and a half!
mainly. The knees seemed to have given way to the new Unguis incarnates pains. Off into the kitchenette, no tap running, then I went into the wet room to check there and shoulder-charged the doorframe going in. This got going; the toes were getting worse, and
after all that, the hot tap was not running.
Not that that was the end of the little mental pandemonium known as , Oh, no!
Back in the £300, second-hand, c1968, cringingly-beige-coloured, not-working, rickety recliner, without the slightest chance of nodding off again, due to the hurting and activities of !
But nothing could stop the Thought Storms from raging into life. This triggered the . As far as recall, I got up to check the fridge and freezer doors, and the oven had not been left on, and then if the front door had been locked.

Each trip was making the toes more painful! Thus even less chance of dropping off to sleep now!
I elapid there, train to think of something I could concentrate on to avoid the Thought Storm messages. I made a story up, a comedy, with relative to me failures and Whoopsiedangleplops on it. The feet were now getting the attention of Colin Cramps!
I think I might have been about to fall asleep, for the Thought Storms had gone offline in my brain. And I started sneezing hard and often. Of course, this set off , and I gave up any hopes of sleep, all together. I dare not take any more painkillers today… or yesterday as it is now.

Not one of my betterer days!

Inchcock Today – Just a graphic wot I made

Billum treats Inchcocks Ailments!

Bill & HRH

Lobotomy Sorted Out The Problems

HRH Lisa, Problem Sorter Outer, Ether-Carer to Inchcock, Electrician & Nurse (and a cracking looker) was at hand throughout the operation. First Aid box at the ready. Backing up professor Billum all the way.
The electrics and life monitorings were handled by Alan.

Billum prepared for the removal of the brain. Amazingly, Inchcock felt not a single pain! He was put at rest, by HRH covering his head area in Phorpain, and giving him an iced lolly.
The kindness showed by Billum, was gobsmacking. (They actually had to smack his gob to bring him round later, when refitting the brain and reattaching his head; but that’s for part two to come later.) Billum had thought of everything beforehand, he’d been planning this procedure for over two days, in his glasshouse laboratory.
He explained that when the brain comes out, Inchcock may not notice any difference, but not to worry.

Because a false moustache, spectacles, hearing aids, a missing many teeth plastic mouth, and a BO spray would be adorned on the brain straight away; so that it would feel at home without Inchcocks mass of blubber and accoutrements surrounding it.
He even supplied mini-walking sticks, crutches, and had the foresight to keep giving the brain a clout now and then, so, as he named him, Brian the Brain would not miss Inchcocks pains from tumbles, walking into things ad the desperate pain from the overactive bladder, Brilliant!

I’m afraid this will have to be caught up with later, because Inchcock’s eyes are too bad to continue, sorry. He may have to skip a blog or two, or just put a few words on. The poor old git is not too good at the moment. The eyes and bladder are the two main reasons.

Professor Billum started with Inchcock’s worst affected area, naturally the brain, but Billum had to take it out first.

Cheers, each.

Inchies Frictional, Unfrivolved, Fricking Friday!

Things started pretty well for me, oh, yah!

I got the Halloween hand-outs on display…

For carers, nurses, come who may,

Anyone visiting me from today…

Then got the potatoes, boiled with balsamic vinegar,

And a spot of Worcester sauce, & a pinch of demerara sugar,

They’ll do for later if I remember the bugger,

With the chilli, and put on some more sauce, tartar?

Titivated the kitchenette, dropped a jam jar!

An excellent job that it wasn’t the caviar!

The jar didn’t break, and it missed my feet…

Things were going well, all seemed alreet,

Off to the computer with a mug of tea, took a seat,

I even nibbled some biscuits, wholewheat!

The landline rangeth, the Amazon man, a right pain!

T’was then that my good luck, nosedived again!

We couldn’t understand what each other said,

So I went down to meet and talk to him instead,

His English was better than my Afghanistani,

But he left me, in the lurch, there was no barny…

He abandoned the food with me in the lift foyer, the Git!

I had to get the parcels into the lift, and I wasn’t fit…

Back up to the 12th-floor, struggled to get the bags out,

Then had to get them into the lobby,

Then into the flats lobby,

Then into the flat,

Then the hallway…

Then the kitchen, my energy drained away!

Next, the swearing started, I have to say!

The Git had put bleach in, it leaked, had to throw my bananas away!

The baguette buggered, utter dismay!

Tomatoes crushed, and I was feeling bushed!

Honey yogourts pot fell apart; I was further crushed!

Got the salvaged food sorted,

I was pissed off; I felt like I’d been ambushed!

The cooked ham was crumbs and crushed!!!

I was feeling despondent, to say the least!

Can’t see myself enjoying tonight’s feast!

Got the fodder all sorted… What was eatable anyway!

I was determined to get the treats out today for those who have helped me out over the year. Jenny, Norah and Frank, and Obergruppenfürher Deana and Obersturmbannfuhreress Julie, the ILCs (Indeependent Living Coordinators) at the flats. I rang them both to tell them I’d be coming down later to see if it was alright, as they may have been busy. Recorded messages on both phones that told me they must be busy. So I’ll get the goodies sorted out and go to Jenny then to the office with them.

As I was going out of the door, struggling a little with the walker-trolley, the postman came into the foyer. Oh, dearie me! This sounds like it may be a con-job?

An official-looking brown envelope, a white one, and then he handed me an ‘insufficient postage bill for nearly £11 for something that has been sent to me?

He kindly offered to ask his boss if he could pay for it for me, get the ‘parcel’, and I can refund him, and he’ll bring it in the morning. I was dubious, as I don’t think ~I am expecting anything through the post? Anyway, I thanked him and took him up on his generous offer for me, with a certain feeling of doom.

The white envelope was from Meridian, three A4 pages, about my Christmas needs for carers, Logging-in, Shadowing & Spot Checks, McMillan Charity Ball, On Call Centre procedure, and a Service-User Forum Wednesday 8th December at Foxton Gardens.

I didn’t over concentrate on owt, but the dodgy sounding parcel postage cost thingy. Then thought I’d try ringing the Wardens again, let them know I was coming down to see them and ask if they could have a look at the Social Services letter for me.

Finally, I got back to the walker-trolley of goodies, of off down to Jenny’s. On the way down, I thought to myself… well, I felt sorry for myself, really. Everything suddenly going into panic mode; surely things must calm down now… Hahahahahaha! Crap!

I called at Jenny’s flat, rang the bell and knocked on the door, and returned to the lift.

Down and into the connecting corridor with Winwood Court.

Called at the Wardens Interrogation and Body Search Room and dropped off the nibbles. Dean checked the Attendance forms for me, and I signed them. At last, something was going right – Hey-Ho! Little did I know what Accifauxpas and Whoopsiedangleplops still awaited me yet!

Then realised I had not put the prescriptions list in the envelope.

Back up and down in the lift again, and down to Deana.

Gawd, it did! I thanked Deana and hobbled out of the Winwood Court foyer, the first time I’ve been in the fresh air for months now, I think… But it proved to be a hazard ridden journey to the post-box to mail the letter… Just when I stupidly thought things were getting better again…

Unbeknownst to me, the wind was howling out there, and it whipped the envelope and paperwork out of my hand, high up in the sky, swirling around and then seemed to turn back in my direction, falling down in the car park twixt the vehicles. So, if it had blown off again, I would not have seen it again… Semi-panic mode engaged. I pursued the envelope and had to search a bit to find it. Still, the relief when I saw it trapped in between the branches of a bush was welcomed, even more so when I managed to get at it in time before it flew off into the clouds again!

I limped hastily as I could to the mailbox, checked the envelope, and posted it; thank heavens for that. Although, my EQ told me it would not have mattered, because as the voice said: “You ain’t going to get no financial help, any and either way, cocker!” Which was a smidge disheartening, bearing in mind EQ has never been wrong with his forecasts… no, I tell a lie, sorry. He was once, just the one time.

I hobbled back inside and just had to tell Deana what had happened. At least she got to laugh out loud before going home for the weekend, bless her. Hehe!

I set off along the link corridor and got to the connecting door.

Boy, did I feel a fool!

I could feel the key fob in my jacket pocket, but could I find a way in to get it? No! I assumed it had gone through the lining of one of the pouches. Back through link passage and to Deana, thinking she may have some scissors for me to use, to cut through the pocket.

Within a few seconds of investigating the jacket pocket for me, Deana put on a broad grin – that I believe actually said, “What a pillock!” As she pointed out that the sleeveless coat had two pockets on either side, one behind the other!

I blushed, felt the pillock above, thanked her, and scurried away in embarrassment and fast as I could… back, yet again along the corridor.

The hobble back into Woodthorpe was masked by the deep and genuine worry about what the hell am I doing? Since retirement, nothing going right, or even things going wrong, has been a part of my life, but I am not coping so well with things nowadays.

The trip up in the lift left little recollections of anything. I should have guessed that Dizzy Dennis and Shaking-Shoulder-Shirley were about to erupt; the hassle for such a long time nearly always ends in a tumble or similar – this time was no different, I’m afraid; Well, it was actually.

The haze came over me as I began to push the trolley through to the lobby from the cage. I gave myself such a bash on the right shoulder; it knocked me sideways, I clouted my back on the other side of the lift, and I went down, almost in slow motion!

My Luck Changed!

I had no idea who it was, but a bloke came out of the end flats and got me up on my feet again. See, I am fortunate sometimes. I think he knew me cause he guided me back to the flat and helped get the trolley in for me. Not sure what we spoke about, but I think we did have a natter.

I made a brew of Glengettie Gold and sat down doing absolutely nothing, but fretting of course. Nodded off for ten minutes. Woke up in need of a wee-wee and felt so much better, then? Back-Pain-Brenda was the main pain-giver, but you can’t blame her after that little backwards tumble. Hahaha! I made another drink, and took a Cocodamal, then got on with updating this blog. I hadn’t really realised how late it was, although with all the palaver I should have expected it, the Evening Carer arrived.

It was Helen. After she’d done the medications, it was she who told me what a terrible day she’s been having. Bless her! When I related my day so far and showed Helen the photographs (I was still doing the blog updating when she arrived), She did laugh! Which was good cause it might have cheered her up a smidgeon, I hope.

I realised that I could not find the Warfarin card anywhere. Mmm? Mayhaps I dropped it when I collapsed on my rump? I went to check in the elevator cage. Nope!

Summat else to worry about now, Tsk! I got back in the front room and was going to do another search of the multi-pocketed jacket… when… I spotted it on the carpet underneath the computer cabinet.

I pressed on with this blog updating, and woe of woes, I got as far as I heard and realised it was almost midnight! I’d better get something to eat… ah, yes, the chilli and the crushed brochette, or whatever its name is, bread to me.

While doing the cooking, it was complicated for an old chap, like what I am. Some done in the crock-pot, chilli-con-carne on the saucepan on the hob, and wedges in the microwave, and as for all the cleaning up afterwards… Humph! Where was I?

Oh, yes, I took photographicalisations of the night sky.

Inchcock Today – Thursday 6th August 2020: This diary contains an Ablutionalisationing Injury Communiqué, Not for those of a nervous disposition!

TFZer Cool-It-Cabin get-together!

Thursday 6th August 2020

Welsh: Dydd Iau 6ed Awst 2020

02:45hrs: I woke up with an astronomical vagueness all around me. It took me a long time to gather my distant, reluctant thoughts into some form of semi-logicality. Suffice to start arranging and forging some kind of recognisable sense out of them!

The distractedness of last night had not fully cleared away yet. The fuzziness began to clear, and be replaced with the worries, needs, and plan-making for today.

I realised that the new window cleaner was coming today, also that I had planned yesterday to get the kitchen cleared to give him access to the windows, and I had not done so! Fertummelt! This task became my priority.

I struggled out of the £300, second-hand, c1968, rickety recliner, grabbed the stick, caught my balance, and limped to the kitchenette. The most urgent thing was to get the window ledge cleared. Not an easy task, Dizzy Dennis was on the attack! For much of the time, I needed to use the four-pronged metal walking stick, which made progress slow down to a pathetic level. Then, thankfully Dennis calmed down.

I was annoyed with myself when I saw the recycling bottles that I’d forgotten to take down with me yesterday! Clunk-head!

I took a snap of the window afterwards and tried to catch my reflection in the picture. Hehe! The bald head and the bulging flabby stomach tend to stick out a bit. I’ve just noticed when putting the photo in, how much the man breasts tend to protrude, too! Hahaha!

The summoning from the innards for my attentions being suddenly needed at the Porcelain Throne arrived. I wasted no time and beat a path (although a slightly wobbly one) to the wet room. Oh, what an improved, less painful session it was! It still hurt, of course, but compared to the last couple, it was heavenly! Also much quicker and not messy at all! Mind you, it left a pong that was not very pleasant. Ah-well!

Back to the kitchen, and got the Health Checks sorted.

Oh, ‘eck! The SYS had shot up again? The body temperature showed as just, ‘Low’. I made a brew of Thompsons Punjana.

Got the computer on, and had to make a head-top graphic, due to failure to make one yesterday! Humph!

I updated the Wednesday post and sent off the email link. Then made another brew, of Glengettie tea. (a thirst on me this morning!)

I took two shots of the morning view, the first in Aperture Priority, the second in Auto mode. I think the Auto one wins for more accurate colour?

Got caught up with WP comments, and then Facebooking.

I had a look on Amazon to see if they still had the cheaper offer on the Dettol lavender disinfectant. They had, but it said, ‘Only one left in stock, and unsure if any more will be available’. So muggins here, the favourite retailers type of shopper, ordered it. Then had a desperate last search for brown trousers available in my size. And bought some. I noticed an offer on Domestos. And bought some! Is there such a disease or illness called AGI, Amazon-Gullible-Idiot, I wonder?

Had a go at the WordPress Reader, then off to get the ablutions done.

: What a palava! After the two reasonable, indeed, good, last two sessions. It was back to the regular ablutioning experiences, with the Whoopsiedangleplops and Accifauxparing this morning.

Ablutionalisationing Injury Communique

  • The teeth cleaning set Toothache Thomas on the rampage! Then I stabbed myself in the gum with the toothpick!
  • I broke a razor! (Gawd knows how, but there you are!)
  • Dropped the foam spray, razors (4), and cut me near my earhole shaving. (See below, it was a most artistic of bleeds. Beautiful original job!)
  • Trying to make sure I didn’t stub the toe when moving the shower chair, I banged my poor old, already multiple-bruised right arm again! Gramshackles!
  • I tooketh the shower, and clouted my right arm on the shower box, when I had mini-dizzy, seconds later, I hit my left arm on the grab bar! (Now I was getting so annoyed with myself, and using naughty language!)
  • It had to happen I suppose, with me being so wound-up, I stubbed the toe against the shower seat legs as I moved it back after taking the shower! The language was getting a tad bluer, now!
  • I dried off without any problems. (There, I got something right. Hehehe!)
  • I dropped the Cortisone tube, and during the medicating, Little Inchies fungal lesion began bleeding! Humph! It took a bit of stopping!
  • The rear end furuncle became inflamed at I applied the Germoloid cream to Harold’s Haemorrhoids! I had quite a few tender areas stinging at the same time now! It wasn’t pleasant. Hahaha!
  • Leaving the room, I had a ‘drift-to-the-right’ episode, and clouted my right arm on the doorframe, yet Again!

No doubt about it, I was pleased to get out of there, and for the incidents to be over! Most annoying, especially as the previous couple of ablution efforts, had gone so well!

The right arm has taken a bashing lately. I just don’t seem able to judge distances accurately anymore. Peripheral Neuropathy?

But, I was pleased I’d got a photograph of the artistic bleeding during the shaving nick bother. Do you think I might stand a chance of getting an offer from the Tate Gallery? Hehe! How the blood ran the route it did, I found surprising. Hey-ho!

A mug of tea, and back on the computing. 09:10hrs and no show from the window cleaner yet. Of course, this started me of twittering, fretting and almost convinced I must have got the day or timing wrong. (I’ve no confidence lately either) The chap arrived ten minutes later.

Did a quick,  efficient job, and charged me £15 quid for the windows and sliding balcony. Did a fair good job. Booked me in again for a month’s, September the third at the same time, I think he said.

Herbert above was doing some tap-tapping and knocking again. I wonder if he is making a wardrobe from scratch? As long as he’s happy. Which is saying something for a laconic taciturnist like John (Herbert) is, compared to an argle-bargle, deipnosophist type bloke, like wot I am! Hehehe!

I made up an order for Iceland and then did a search for a word that I cannot remember. It means someone who is not talkative or revealing. I wanted it to put in the paragraph above, but can’t find it. Gribbledukes! I might not, well, I do not know what the word, but feel confident I’ll know it when I see it. Tsk!

I pressed on with this blog, and the door chimes rang out. It was the postman, delivering my last pack of 6 long, lambswool socks (for winter, if I make it) I stupidly ordered from Amazon. They have soft diabetic top grippers. Now I will be alright for socks, anyway. I’ve probably got more than enough pairs to see myself out. So in the event of my croaking out, I’ve put them in the airing cupboard, for anyone who fancies them.

Got the oven on and put the smoked haddock flavoured fishcakes, in. I must remember to add the fries in ten-minutes. Then hopefully, they will both be ready at the same time, but, ‘best laid-plans’ and all that!

I got the latest figures for Covid-19.

Then I tended to the nosh making duties. The sky was looking good, well, I mean the clods. Even if they were a tad on the dark side.

The fatigue arrived, a little late than usual, and I gave up on computerisationing and got the meal prepared.

And what the festival of a feast it was, too! The smoked haddock filled fish cakes were so moreish! The last of the truffle fries were used (Iceland no longer stock them, Boo!). The surimi stick enjoyed, The Piccolo tomatoes excellent, as was the egg mayonnaise! A well-worthy 8.5/10 for flavour-rating!

I got te pots washed, and settled down in the £300, c1968, unkempt, rusty, rickety, not operational, sickenly beige-coloured, uncomfortable, harmful to haemorrhoids, grotty recliner. Turned of the TV, and chose something to watch, and drifted off into the land of bliss within minutes!

I woke in a bit of the panic, the need for the EOGPB (Emergency-Overnight-Grey-Plastic-Bucket) was indeed urgent! The diabetes PMD (Pre-Micturition-Dribble) tinkled away well before I got the bucket! The SSPO (Short-Sharp-Painful-Orange) variety release was soon over, and off I went to the wet room to clean up, disinfect the bucket, and change the PPs. Walking into the doorframe as I went in. This right arm is going to have more bruises than ever! It’s already tender, just putting a coat or jacket on hurts. Hey-ho!

As I got back to the recliner to sit down, the right leg burst forth with an involuntary right leg Neuropathic Schuhplattler dance, ending up on my bum on the floor, banging the right arm on the way down, and in agony from Harold’s Haemorrhoids, and the leg just kept on kicking out for a minute or so. I stubbed a toe against the metal leg of the swivel chair!

Not one of my easier Accifauxpas. Claggknackles!

Miraculously, no severe damage, just pain and frustration, oh, and the long-winded challenge of getting my humungously-large flabby-bellied body, up and into the seat!

I was sure the grey-cells would start chewing things over, and Thought Storms would arrive. I was so wrong! No joking… I nodded off, as Sweet Morpheus came, and slept for… wait for it… Seven-hours! Unbroken at that!
