For once, things seemed to be going not too bad at all when I stirred in the ÂŁ300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, which was a bit of a shock to me, as you can understand. Not exactly full of the joys of spring, but the depression and Peripheral Neuropathy aches, shakes, and pains were noticeably absent this morning! At first, I thought I must have died during the night. And the Thought Storms were not pestering me either!
This state of non-panic or worrying mode… unfortunately, lasted only fugitively. As I lowered one leg at a time from the chair on which they were rested overnight, I managed to stub my right foot toe… my , against the waste bin. Guilt at my having moved it nearer to me last night to drop the crumbs and bits in as I nocturnally nibbled away at my cheese curls served to lower my previously pathetic moment of almost exhilaration at the lack of pains coming from within my blubbery body! Then, in mid-wailing, the other leg gave a mini , and slipped off of the other side of the chair, the knee hitting, with some venom, on the, which shot across to the Carer’s table and knocked a bottle of the expensive eye lotion off the counter… Yes, it hit the deck, and the cap came off – releasing about ÂŁ6 worth of medication, which is currently clinging on like glue to the slipper it fell in!
Good Morning!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

After initial, almost traditional morning mayhem, I needed to get the goolies, toe and knee sorted out, then clean up the mess. This did not go well. However, a cheery bit came to me: The Urine in the night bag was the best it’s been for ages… Colourwise!

Arthur Itis was gelled off to the wet room, and some cream put on the toe – it wasn’t easy, but I managed it painfully! With the unplanned leg exercises, I found . So, it cost me even more cash, and I had to apply creams, not only the Fungal Lesion but Phorpain Gel, to Arthur’s knees, but and now I’m on the last drop of Germoloids!
I’m a bit dubious about the ankle conditions this morning.
Hope they are not going to start ulcerating again! Still, fingers crossed. I got the Asda PPs on again. They seem small but did the job of containing the blood leaking out this morning… Good!
I sorted the waste bags and placed them in the hallway near the door.
Then, off to the kitchenette to get the kettle on for a mug of Glengettie tea. The morning view from the window. The first two I took did not come out well at all? Carer Shaquille arrived. After he’d left, I got the computer on. Shame! Humph! I decided to get the potatoes in the crockpot while waiting for to return to service. I’d
forgotten to make the brew of tea. So, I made a brew of the Glengettie tea.
Not that I got to drink it. The net came back on, and all my somewhat rather limited concentration went on starting yesterday’s blog.

Better late than never? But it didn’t last long!
Titivated the area around the Carer’s Chair & table.
The little hand vacuum is on the way out, methinks. There’s not much oomph left; the light showed the battery as fully charged, too. Pity, but it’s lasted for some years now.
Rechecked on the cooking. I put the potatoes into the saucepan with the other vegetables in it, added some tomato puree, stirred it and left it on a low heat setting.
Got the eyes sprayed, then the applied it to both eyes.
I must try the Sudocrem in the morning. The Germolene & Germoloid medications seem unavailable at any shop at the moment. I’m not expecting it to work, but I’ll try it anyway.
Got the meal prepped and served up. This one was worth all the time and effort it took.
Flavour-Rating: 9.3/10!

Carer Benjamin called for the last visit.
I’d , chimed from the doorbell, and Benjamin came in, checking that he was putting the light on before doing so. He is aware of my sight problems; bless him. He issued me with the Peptac and painkillers. Then got the night pouch attached to the day bag.
After asking him if he didn’t mind me doing so, I took the photo above of Benjamin in the Balcony. I wanted a picture of the hill dwellings to the left of the flats in the frame. That’s the ‘Upper-Crust’ housing area, Mapperley Hall Drive. With a few lower-class ones on the edges, mostly converted into flats by the Oligarch owners. That’s where the two bodies were found murdered last month… or was it in June?  I bade a thank you farewell to the lad.

Got back in the ÂŁ300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. Moth-eaten, cringingly-beige-coloured, grotesque, grotty, bedraggled, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not-working recliner.

But sleep would return and kick off again. So after an hour or two of failed sleep-searching, I checked the taps (faucets) and the cooker was not left on or running.
What a view from the kitchenette window presented itself!
I thought the entire sky looked so much like the surface of a planet at first, maybe the moon’s? With possible lava coming from underground.

The rest of the night was spent with the thoughts tormenting me, with precious few minutes of nodding offs interspersed here and there, each followed by moments of myoclonus.

A Bonus Ode from Inchy
A rarity indeed…
MY BRAIN’S CHANGING!

I’ve worked something about myself out…
My brain is erecting a mental redoubt,
It realises there’s been a turnabout…
And is now permanently on the lookout…
For Cognitive Impairment Iris, without a doubt…
Who’s using my cerebrum as a hideout!
Where she plays, on her gadabout!
Creating senseless thoughts that whirlabout?

She could cause me a brain brownout!
It’d be good if she’d just clear out!
Well, it’s time now for me to phase out…
Now, where’s that bottle of stout?

Fare Thee All, Well!

TODAY’S PREDOMINANT PESTERISATIONINGS
This Saturday has been dominated by losses of balance, the left leg giving way – for the few seconds it lasts, it’s as if the leg isn’t there. The
routines have been numerous.
They were pretty lengthy ones as well, nearly had me other twice! To blame, of course. Even more troubling, I’ve been struggling to get words out correctly. The Carers noticed this first. After that, I became aware of it. The brain has been playing tricks… but nothing new, just more persistently.
Memory has been terrible; I was talking to Carer Benjamin, forgetting what I was saying, and throwing in some double-di-gook words. I’m unsure if he thought I was messing about, but he laughed out loud & long. I grabbed the Kodak and took this shot. Hehehe!

My putting the Bleptha Eye Gel in both eyes, was again a struggle for me to get right. At least the Dry Eye Spray one is easy enough to do. Concentration has escaped me again. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve opened a drawer, gone into the kitchen, opened a cupboard… and forgot why I was doing it in the first place.
Other possible handicaps… The urine is not flowing as well as usual. And, I’ve not visited the all day (18:55hrs)
On the bright side, though… erm… there must be a bright side… I’ll make one up, shall I? Oh, no… there was one! England Ladies Won their Match against the Mafia-Drug-Growers, Columbia! Only just mind.
I’m afraid Stuttering Stephanie has spread to my handwriting on the prompt notepad. The worst writing ever, almost illegible!
Ah, well, the photos may prompt me.

Better colour today.

Poddled onto the balcony
Decent looking morning.

Went automatically to the

Started on yesterday’s blog finalisationing.

Carer arrived. Meds and a mini-natter were completed. I was, stuttering and struggling to get words out, and my balance was terrible getting about. Had a few close calls but no falls.

Back to blogging.
Made a brew of Thompson Punjana.

The third-bash at blogging, and I was already on…

I watched the Ladies World Cup match, Australia v France.
Australia won – GRRREAT!
So was France losing! Hehehe!

Back to blogging again. Concentration shot to pieces with the joy of France losing, I reckon!

Ah, the urine is now flowingeth! Into the wet room to empty out the . Still a good colour!

I went into the kitchen to wash to tea mug. Had it started raining!
Took this shot through the glass.
And this one…
Opened the window for this one.

Into the balcony for this one.
By the time I took this one of the end car park,
the rain had stopped altogether.

Got the Saturday blog finished and settled to watch the England 2 v Columbia 1 result match. Another close one, with Columbia scoring first.Very satisfying result

The third Carer of the day called Joanne. Had a laugh and joke. She also noted I was saying either the wrong words or talking rubbish. Worryingly!

Started this blog for an hour or two. Then got a meal cooking.

Carer Benjamin called. No meds, but he reminded me to put the & on both eyes. Added the without any bother to day pouch for me.
I remembered to ask him to take the laundry bag. He didn’t; with him being a new lad, I don’t think he knew where to take it. I’ll ask the morning carer if it is Benjamin; I hope to be awake enough to explain to him.
He’s a spirited young man. I like him.

After Benjamin had left, sleep was suddenly not an option.
Rampaging were to blame!

Another Testing Day of Frustration & Dismay
Blepharitis Infection Eye Gel applying problems. brought on a few giving-way episodes on the left leg, which nearly had me over each time. But, somehow I avoided tumbling and having an . A close call though.
, the main guilty party is, the that was spouting puss a bit today. All of these are connected to which indicated that was responsible for them all. Schweinhund!
The delectable DVT Warfarin Anticoagulation Nurse came to take my blood for another extra INR test. And welcome she was made! “I’m so glad she did!” I happen to have fallen in love with her... but don’t say anything about this, or you’ll have everyone laughing at me! Hahaha!
She helped me by reading the minuscule writing on the  instructions.
Which seemed much more understandable now.
Unfortunately, when I tried it later, things were back to normal. What I am doing wrong is annoying not knowing!
Iceland delivery. That’s three delivered this week, an Asda and two Iceland ones. To replace the stuff I had to dish from the freezer when I left the darned door ajar for nine hours and had almost liquid products in when I found out about it.

After two hours on the computer trouble-free.
Another hour and a half and the total to date was…
Up to now, the internet had gone down…

As their adverts say…

The Opticians called again; it was farcical. I think she said Kara, so I assume she still wanted her to call them?

Late blast from the sun on her way down, Grrreat!

The 18:00hrs Carer called. I got the and the put on. The Gel applying, I’ve still not mastered very well.
Turned off the computer…

The final total of the
Failures had reached…

I got the meal prepared and served up!
No fish fish-sticks and fishless prawns. Canned garden peas, nice tomatoes, yellow & red, roast potato chunks done in the oven with olive oils sprayed on them, vinegared and salted on the plate, no sauce needed tonight. I then proceeded to eat the feast… and created a new record!
NEW RECORD!
I was trying to eat while watching the TV… but fell asleep at least five times during eating the food! I might have been more often. Each time I woke up, I had to recover whatever it was that had come off of the tray each time I dosed off, and the tray slipped… Peas went off wandering every time, I was still finding them on the floor that had rolled out of view in the morning. Potatoes, tomato halves too. Amazingly none of the no-fish, fish fell?

The last Carer Call. A were new lads today, so I took the opportunity to ask them each to check the taps, heater and fridge-freezer doors for me. We’ll see.

A final photograph from the kitchen window was taken.

How Gorgeous!
I spent a while on this one.

For a complete change, there was no , gave me a break, and no bother at all! This time is was the eyes that kept me awake! Both of them felt like there had to be grit in my eyes? Every time I nictated after waking up! I had to give up trying in the end. I sprayed some extra on both, but it made no difference; it’s still a painful nuisance this morning. I still think it’s I am applying the wrongly. I must try to get some professional help on this issue. I’m worried that the Cataract operation on the left eye might be cancelled if the infection does not clear up. Sister Jane has the same problem after having her eye done!
♥ Here she is with me in the flat. ♥

Another day ruled by Conrad Confusion.
It’s a secret even to me; half of what occurred, happened, went wrong, took place, or I did. Confusionalitis at its finestest!
Thank heavens for the photos. The following is not in chronological order; this is because my brain isn’t. Hehe!

One light, one dark leg and foot.

First photo of the day.

I now not what is was taken for.

Afternoon shot. As you can see above…
The lowest BP ever taken!

Only one visit all day…
Rock Hard and resistant to come out!

Late afternoon Shot.

Ah, I remember that Nurse Christina came to take the Warfarin INR blood to test. Lovely to see her again after so many weeks. She kindly rang the district Nurse’s place to inform them of the shortage of ‘s. The lay said they would order some from the chemist who should deliver them to Meridian. Also, is the pains from Little Inchie continue, I must ring them. They didn’t get any worse, so didn’t need to.

acci-whoop

After cleaning the things from last night, I went into the wet room to start washing and shaving. Midway through the shaving, the water ran cold… Argh! I’d left the hot tap running in the kitchen! So, no hot water to finish shaving.
I got water in the crockpot, two saucepans, and the kettle.

Meridian cleaner Denise called and did some housework for me, bless her.

Amazing sky, around 04:00hrs.

Amazing sky, around 04:10hrs..

Then I stopped everything (Not that I was doing much other than this blog) and just took photos as the sky changed and became coloured as the sunset started. The best bit of the day for me… well, after Nurse Nichol, Cleaner Denise, and Carer Adele. I do love these nights…

After I took this shot of the car park below, the sky captured my imagination. I started my pareidolia fixation going for the next fifteen minutes taking these shots of the changing sky – and searching for any figures I could find in the multi-coloured patterns!

Well, I’m just a lad at heart still... Hehehe!

I think these are in order as I took them.

Star shop Enterprise quality these…

The lowering sun…

Beautiful layered night sky…

The sun reached weaker clouds,
and breaks through.

Bootiful!

Gorgeous!

Still gorgeous two minutes later…

Distance shot for her last minutes

In close for a final effort.

By gum, I enjoyed doing them!

Evening Carer Jozeph arrived as I’d made a brew.
He got the medications sorted for me and checked the stove as it was on; he asked if I was using it; or did I want it turned off. I told him I would make some chips after doing a bit more of this blog.

I got the above photos online, turned off the computer, and I set about getting the meal made.

There you are, then, proof that I am a man of letters! Hehe!

Arrived, waking me up and . He departed, and I finished the meal, then went and locked the front door.
I got down to have a sleep, at last!

Half an hour later, rangeth the door chime? I was unsure why she had come, but it seemed she was due? Had to go carrying the night pouch in one hand and the Four-Pronged metal Mickey stick in the other. She asked if I wanted any medications; I thanked her and declined. Explaining that the night catheter had already been done. She checked the taps and stove for me and, after a mini-waffle, followed her to the door and bade her farewell.
Locked the door again, stick and pouch in hands, I returned to the ÂŁ300, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner, and swiftly fell into a state of sleep. I know I’d been dreaming but could not remember the slightest detail about it. Humph!

Evening, All!

Sleep? What’s that, then?

Great-coloured urine when I took the night bag off!

Made a brew of Glengettie.
Throughout the day, I took some photos with the Fuji.
I’ll add them at the end to see the changing views.

Cor, the day pouch filled up quickly this morning.
A good sign, methinks?

Emptied the pouch.

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Lots of hassle today – what about I cannot say yet.
combined with Doreen Dementia’s and Sweet Morpheus’s ploy to ensure my getting very little sleep, a dark depression brought on by the day’s events that I will reveal later on in the week; I am at the lowest point in the contentment stakes that I’m been since, well many a year.
Another cut-short thought circumstances beyond my control (I’m getting a lot of these days lately) in detail diary I fear.

According to my notepad, I got up at 04:00hrs, failing to sleep again. After getting the kitchen mopped and making a brew and Carer Richard arrived. Still looking a little under the weather; bless him. I hope he’ll be alright later on. I tried to cheer him up a smidgeon.

Took this shot of the foggy morning…

Stayed misty all day long.

Went to refill the one-litre water bottles from the cheaper 2-litre ones… Whoopsiedangleplop! The cat shot off of the bottles, hit me in the middle of my forehead, and generally soaked me and the floor as ~I dropped it, and it spun around on the floor, liberally distributing two litres of water.

Mopped the floor and put the togs in the laundry bag.

Had a visitor and got all agitated afterwards.
On the Computer.
Carer Sam arrived to do the checks and medications.

Then four lines of scribbled notes happened, and it said it was 13:30hrs. No idea what I wrote, but @I must have been stressed to write that bad, even for me. Hump!

Seems I took a picture of the Chestnut Way car parking.
And somehow missed it?

I went back to the computer to get Sunday’s blog completed.
Took the above shot through the sliding windows and balcony ones.

Says here that ~I was feeling drained again. Not sure if that meant tired or I emptied Cathy Catheter’s Pouch.

Remembered that the Blood ~pressure has to be taken four times a day now. I created the graph near the top and put it on here later in the evening when I felt so tired.

.

Had a nosey about what to eat, and I ended up with a Sweet & Sour Noodles pot. I’ll not try them again.

Carer Kara came to serve me. Medicines and safety checks. Nice to see her, she doesn’t come very often… well, as I’d like. Hehehe!

I was fighting off falling asleep – Marvellous, innit? Get yer head down, and you can’t sleep, give up, get up, and you try working on the blog, and you’ll fall asleep in the computer chair! Not only that, you knock a bottle of spring water off the shelf, and Back-Pain Brenda kicks off when you bend to retrieve it. Fed-up? Me?

Fed-up, I may have said that already, I went to put the kettle on, and what a moon was showing up in the early night sky – Grrreat

Just look at the two-tone colour of it!

The last two above were taken much laterer.
Not so good, are they?

Carer Richard arrived as I was making a pan of stew… of sorts and dishing it out into a bowl. Richard kindly waited for me to finish this before , and gave the medications when the meal was readied. He left me with the tray balanced on my bulbous belly – checked the taps etc., and took the waste bag on his way out.
I ate the rather sad as-it-turned-out meal. Got the pots washed, and with the four-pronged walking stick, Metal Mickey in my hands, I went to lock the front door… well, it’s the only external door. Hehe! ,

Back into the second-hand, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner.

And Zzzz!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I REGRET I’M NOT VERY WELL TODAY. THE ANNE GYNA TABLETS, ALONG WITH THE MONTHS PRESCRIPTIONS, HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVED OR FETCHED (As you can read in the Ode above, my love).

HAD CARER RICHARD NOT GONE OFF SICK, I’M CERTAIN THAT HE WOULD HAVE SPOTTED THE PROBLEM AND SORTED THIS OUT.
I’m not up to coping with computing. The constant noise from the imbecile dwelling above me and the Cataract, Glaucoma eyes worsening
. The big thing is the Angina pain from the lack of tablets; this is also constant. The months’ prescriptions were, I was informed by a Carer, coming Friday – then Saturday; it’s now Sunday, no chance of getting any today. Today, they are coming tomorrow, on Monday. Tuesday, I’ve got an appointment with two different nurses, one DVT and another, can’t remember what department she is from… possibly the Mental Health hospital, but I’m guessing here.

PLEASE FORGIVE THE LACK OF CONTENT. TUESDAY WILL BE THE SAME, WITH THE APPOINTMENTS I’VE GOT TO GO TO.
I can zoom in on CorelDraw and Word, so will try to put the Ode, HC Log and Nottingham News Snippets in. For any photos, I’ll just not have the time to doctor or comment much on any. Cheers.

Early morning shots.
Health Check Log
.
Egyptian Cotton shirt.
Alright then, made in China cotton.
Hehehe!.
No concentration.
Carer Ty told me I’d been given the wrong tablets this morning; I was given the evening doses! No wonder I feel so bad. What with no Omeprazole, now I’ve taken too much Warfarin, and the level is already too high!

The only thing that’s keeping me going at this moment, is that France are losing to Argentina – not that I like it, anyway. France made a comeback in the second half and ended at 3-3 in extra time.  Then on to penalties to decide. Argentina won 4-2. I should have felt sorry for France’s MbappĂ©, with three goals in a world cup final and ended up on the losing side. But I didn’t.

I’ll get something to eat; I’ve got a potato in the crockpot. I’ll see what’s left in the fridge and freezer to have with it, not that I’m hungry with the Angina perpetually performing its pain-giving. If it’s cooked (the potato, not the pain). I might try to bake the slices in the oven. Oh, Ann Gyna ain’t half giving me some grief! Things are not good!

A well-seasoned spud in the pan. I would have had this if I didn’t forget to turn the slow cooker on.
.
Last bag of cheese curls instead. Humph!

.
Bit of a mist coming on.

.
The odd-looking bag of BBQ flavouring filled three of the food containers.
I put a lot of the seasoning into the beans.
But couldn’t really taste anything BBQish?.
SHAME! Taste: 7/10.

06:00hrs: I looked at the clock and realised I didn’t want a wee-wee – this is the first day’s awakening for months that I didn’t want a pee on stirring back into resat life! All very confusing! Nonplussing!

started to kick off straight away, might be the late medications yesterday? But she’s been much worse, only short stabbing pains at the moment. It does not last for long, with plenty of breaks in between.

I rose from the ÂŁ300, bought nine years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly, sickeningly beige-coloured, many crumb-containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner, caught my balance, grabbed 4-pronged Metal Micky, and off to checks the taps and get the kettle on for a brew.

I tried to get some decent photographs of the pretty morning view. I don’t think I id too well, do you? Haha!

Housewife Mode-Engaged! I set to getting the waste badges sorted out. Cleaned the sink area… well, tidied it up a bit, then! Got some more paper towels out to use and made a brew of Glengettie tea. Took the mug to the computer and checked for any messages or comments that may have come in from my hundreds of blog fans throughout the world. I answered them both.

During this, I kept hearing the oddest noises and thought it might be someone knocking on the door. I should have known, of course – it was the Herbert in the flat above giving me a concert of tap-tapping, knock-knocking with the odd loud crunching sound thrown in for good measure. I have to put up with this noise every single day, and at the weekend, it gets even worse. Still, no hard feelings, after all, as the Nottingham City Homes manager said to me: “He’s a wonderful man and makes steam engines for the school…” Nuff said. That was seven years of noisy hell ago. I wish him no harm, do not place curses on him, refuse to give him a neck-chop when I get near enough to him, swear about him, or hate him… just the noise he makes so regularly. I hope whatever it is he’s making comes out well. And the children, he seems to like, enjoy them.

As I moved on to updating the Inchie Today for yesterday, I heard a noise that sounded to my ears like firecrackers; it kept on for a few minutes, and I just had to have a look around in case someone was at the door or something may have fallen over. I had a momentary vision of an alien sliming along into Do-No-Wrong, noisy, snotty Herbert’s flat and slowly eating him alive. This cheered me up a bit; no harm in having a dream? Naturally, the noise was coming from the flat above. He got but more violent with it this time. Thuds bangs, and somehow, with tap-tapping in the background this time. Damned clever chap! I gave a tap or two with Metal-Micky’s handle on the high bookcase in return. He just carried on.

announced the arrival of . He got the medications sorted alright, and we had a little chat. He checked the taps and cooker on his way out with the waste bags for me. Nice lad!

I made up a bottle of spring water and added some lime juice, went to put it in the cubby-hole on the Hopewell’s 1963-built, falling to pieces, E-Plan Sideboard. Where I espied the Carers & Nurses Christmas bottle for them to choose. I must remember to ask a carer if there are any more names to go down.

The unfriendly,  bumptious, toffee-nosed, self-important, snotty-nosed, condescending, sanctimonious animal in the flat above has never been as persistently noisy as he is today. If I meet up with him, he could just be ready for a fall! I am not a violent person, but many years of putting up with this protected by the Council Management turd; is getting to me now!
There will be a clash coming unless he cuts down on the banging about soon! The pococurante, dismissive, disrespectful, git… will no doubt lose out in any conflict, despite his grandeur and overconfidence, and I will end up in prison… the Prison Hospital, I hope. Then I might get the Dementia, DVT vein, and Cataracts seen too? And a new PC to work on? Be fed meals?
Sounds good to me. Sorry Herbert, this is your last warning! (It’s not really; he’s in no danger from me).

Arrived to do a quick check-up and Client Review. And during the questioning and answering session, witnessed the noise that I was suffering from the flat above! As for myself, I can never tell if it’s him or someone banging on the door! I explained this to Kara. This is why I do not wear the hearing-aids when in the flat. Unfortunately, I can’t hear the fire alarm either, then.
But it doesn’t matter as long as Herbert can get away with such antisocial behaviour and him being immune from doing any wrong… the nasty, noisy bully.
Now then, can I remember the recipe from Grandma Griselda? Toad’s legs curdled with the blood of a Vampire, 2oz of Basil, 1 litre of Double strength bleach, and a tablespoon of TCP. Oh, what were the other ingredients? Eye of a newt and toe of a frog, the Wool of a bat and the tongue of a dog…
No, hang on… Am I getting mixed up with Macbeth? Hehehe!

At last, a decent mug of Thompson’s Punjana and three biscuits to dunk in it. By gum, this is a good life!
Hahaha!

Arrived, and he got me sorted out with the medications. I dropped one… Fool? Me? Yes! We couldn’t find it, but worked out it was a Codeine 30g, and although we were low on many tablets, plenty of them remained, so he gave me another one.

That git upstairs is driving me mad with the tapping and knocking.
It’s not doing my health or temper any good! It won’t do him a lot of good when I meet him again! The ignorant &^%stard!

I foolishly went on Amazon to see if they had any small Air-Fryers on offer – and ended up ordering one. There’s no stopping my sinking bank balance or stupidity!
.
I went to get the kettle on again and took these photographs of the front car park. The left one to the right, the right one to the left… I think. Hehe!

Then Spend-the-lot Inchie actually went back onto Amazon and ordered a new keyboard. I’ve got to stop doing this!
I am so angry with myself – I could almost cry!
What the hell is the matter with me?
No need to answer that, folks; I’ve a sneaky feeling that I know, but not keen on admitting it, if you know what I mean… which is probably more than I know!

Nearly 18:00hrs and the Perfect-One, protected and adored by the management of Nottingham City Homes, is off again with his banging away! With any luck, he’ll have a heart attack before I see him again and save me from getting arrested for GBH. It’s a living hell! But I don’t truly mind a single bit. It’s all said in fun…

Oh! I’ve done the . I’d better get them done then…

Dang and bother and . I’m back in the Hypertension Red-1 zone again. Think I got spoilt with two days in the HIGH-NORMAL Pink. Hehe! Still, it’s been worse.

I was making slow headway with this blog, but better than none. Meant another long day for this old man. Hey-Ho!

Not has anything to eat yer, apart from three biscuits. I went into the kitchen to get the cooker oven heating up. And I was so glad I did; for the red moon was going down on the horizon; quickly too.

The results were very pleasing for once.
Of course, I forgot all about putting the oven on.

Great balls of fire! He’s off again. A mechanical concert of bangs, tap-tapping and the odd clunk in between!

I went back to the computer and realised I was missing my beloved ‘Heartbeat’ on TV channel 10. Did some more updating of this blog while half-listening to Heartbeat… I don’t put it on loud cause being a much better and less snotty A-hole than, let’s say, Fart-Breath, living above, and I don’t like to make noise and disturb my neighbours. Grumph!

An hour or so after taking the photos of the sunsetting, I then noted that I had not put the oven on after all. So I did.

It wasn’t really a depression I’d sunk into; more a moment of self-disgust and or loathing… no, it was depression. Tsk!

Got the nosh sorted out, well-gone 20:00hrs now… Oh, no, gone 21:00hrs! At last, the noise from above had ceased – but I’m anticipating it starting again, like last night at gone 22:00hrs.

NOSH TIME COMETH:
A decent-looking nosh, but unfortunately, the photo and all taken since were recorded on the Lumix without my having a memory card in it. I’d left it on the computer yet again.
Flavour Rating: 8/10.

Woke me; I noted I’d fallen asleep watching Heartbeat; I’m missing more than I had watched lately. Thanks to turd-face up above, wearing me down with all his bashing and banging about, I’m so tired. Jo-Anne got the medications sorted as I was about to eat the meal. Left a pot of Lumix for me to take after the meal. We had a natter and insisted she selected her choice of thank you drink. Went with her to lock the door, and she took the waste bag with her to the chute on her way out.

I imagine that the Famously Murderous Parole Board will be releasing both of these criminals… well, animals, at the earliest opportunity to kill again?

03:30hrs: I stirred, with a degree of hesitation, a definite desire not to get up and face the world. A reluctance like never before. Indeed, I tried to get back to sleep – but the inevitable need for a wee-wee, followed by the almost thrice-hemerine Porcelain Throne visit, forced the removal of my elephantine body from the grasp of the second-hand, ÂŁ300, charity shop-bought, crumb-retaining, microorganism-microbe producing, gungy, moth-eaten, beige-coloured, non-working, bacillus encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, c1968 recliner. And off to the wet room.

The evacuation started as usual of its own accord. But it stopped part the way through the process.
So I got the crossword book out. I’ve lost the one I was using but found this one when I was sorting a drawer out. Much more my cup of tea this one. It was published in 1969, and is great; Cause the questions about sport and actors and like, I can remember from so long ago, and I got a few answered. . In fact, I got into it and forgot I waiting for the evacuations to restart. Hehehe!

EyeDropsHad a quick wash and clean up.

Put the olive oil in the ear holes, and I sprayed some of the eye drops around the chin, moustache and mouth… I doubt if any actually made it into the eye and used up the last it. Two more need to be ordered. But what are the odds of me remembering? Not too good, methinks.
I got the spy-glass to check on the urine colour. Not too good today, rated as a six on the NHS chart.
Which reminded me to get the Health Checks done. But not before I made a brew of Glengettie to stir my mind and body. (Well, it sounded good?) Haha!
I put a potato in the crock pot as I was mashing the tea.
Added some liquid smoke, sea salt and vinegar to the water.
Made the tea and got the computer on the go.
I received a long email from Lis-Petal, and replied to it, trying to cover everything she mentioned. She really is such a caring Angel ♥.

Minutes after getting this done declared the arrival of my mate and . I turned to welcome him with a handshake. Before, I stood a very-poorly, shouldn’t be at work, lad! Well, man! His voice was croaky and weak; he was red-faced, coughing, and looked so weak. His actions and reactions were slower than usual, too.
Poor Richard, he just gets his Diabetes level down, and this, whatever it is, hits him. Much as I’ll miss him if he does go sick, I hope he’ll be alright and recovers soon. But he didn’t look good at all. He’ll struggle to get back t work,  I think.
So unfair to him. A man who had helped me more than anyone goes sick. This is worrying for me. I walked to the door with him, tried to look and sound unworried for him, but don’t think I managed it.

Got a text from Asda. According to this, there are no changes or substitutions on today’s order? Never been known before – surely I misread it?

Got on with updating the Monday blog and posted it off. Took me a lot longer than it should have, and I made more mistakes to correct than ever before. And I’m sure many errors got through despite my hours spent adjusting things.

I need to get the Ablutions done, but there isn’t time now, as the delivery could arrive soon.

arrived. Gave me the Peptac. I checked the list of Christmas pressies given, but Sam was not on it. She is now.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY so far. The Asda order arrived. It was a big one, and the deliveryman saw how I was struggling and took the food through to the kitchen for me in his baskets, cramming the food where he could find room to.
Nice gesture; he was off in no time.
Getting the stuff put away took me two hours – Honestly! The Christmas treat bottles for the Carers arrived, and I’d just given the last of the others to Sam. Got them in the cupboard under the computer, so the others can take a pick their choice.
The Microwave had almost been covered with food. Hehe!
Glad to say the Marmite Cashew nuts have arrived, and the personal treats for Christmas for myself, the tasty but naughty Lotus-Biscoff Biscuits, all come as well.
The only room on the sink side was used up as well.
BBQ beans. The 7-Vegetable roasted Mediterranean sauce. Passata with basil. Soft drinks for the Carers thank you’s. More BBQ sauce, Korean this time; I hope it’s not too hot?
And from the one box, BBQ sauce, more veg sauce, orange cordial, and the BBQ Beans Micro Grain that I enjoyed so much last week. The Winiary Przyprawa seasoning that I’m trying for the first time. I couldn’t read the contents even with the spyglass – so I looked it up on the web.
It seems it is an alternative to Soya sauce, vegan & vegetarian. An alternative to Maggi, it says. The ingredients are WATER, Salt, Flavour Enhancers (Monosodium Glutamate, Disodium ‘5 Ribonucleotides), Vinegar, Glucose, and Flavourings (with Celery). I wonder what the secret flavourings are?
I might try a splash of it tonight with my BBQ beans, vegetable and potato meal? Or not? Worraya fink?

The sauce cupboard got special attention today.
The Polish sauce was used on the potatoes in the Crock-Pot. It was similar tasting to Worcester Sauce.
The BBQ sauces should last me a while. I seem to a have had a moment when I ordered them… I may have overdone it a fraction in ordering so many bottles.
I think I was dithering over which brand to get and seemed to order every type they had in stock? And why sweet pickle? I don’t even like it!

Well, blow me down with a feather duster! Who ordered the naughty cream cakes?
Surely not me? Did I? No, it must be a mistake!
Shame I didn’t notice it at the time. I would have sent them back if I had, of course.

I belatedly got the tackled.

Well, when I got the results from the NHS Analyser, I was well leased and over the moon.
But it made me think of the poor  this morning.
I’m fretting now for him. Whatever bug has got him, he needs to have it checked out: that’s what he would have told me to do. Might even be Covid, Flu or associated with his Diabetes – 2? It’s knocked him for six, no question about it. In a way, I’d be happy to see him taking time off to get it sorted. Which, in itself, means I can’t get in touch to try to see how he is going. Poor lad. Oh, the Health Checks (I wondered off-plot there for a moment)
.
Well, as you can see, I’m back down in the HIGH-NORM Zone. That’s four times on this chart!

Now for the Ablutionalisationings. I have to admit to a little bit of apprehensiveness about this. I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet, but I had two bad bouts earlier and three bad incidents. The last one was while I was putting stuff in the freezer from Asda. Had I not been in that spot when it came, I could have taken a fall and landed forward on the floor. Luckily my landing against the fridge was far less hazardous. So, I’m going to take my time in the shower and try to keep near the grab rail. Also, be weary when shaving and dressing. This could take some time, but I’m not bothered, let it. Better safe than sorry.
Back in a bit… I hope, Har-har!
.
I was right; it was a long job. The shaving produced a few minor cuts, that took a while to stop bleeding this time. The Warfarin INR level is far too high, meaning the blood is thinner.
The teeth cleaningGC broken tooth caused more bleeding than ever before.
This is partly due to the teeth rotting and breaking and the high INR level.

The thing I was worried about, the showering, was Dizzy Dennis-free! Just the one head-butting of the power box, which was nothing serious.
Drying off afterwards, I cleared about 30% of the items on the top of the floor cabinet!
I got them back on again, much to the discomfort of .
I lost a little of the olive oil, and unfortunately, I trod on the tube of Germoloid and lost some as it squirted out. A shame because this is my last tube. !

I took an accidental shot as I was putting the camera down.
The flash activated and gave me a dazzling shaving mirror.
It’s the only mirror in the flat. When you look like me, it’s best not to demoralise yourself by looking at a reflection
of a senile old man looking back at you. Hehe!
My noisy neighbour above started drilling and clanging at something or other. I’m sure it was coming from straight above, but may have been repairmen working?

I then had to again utilise the . A decent evacuation, even if a bit messy.
Went to pick up hearing aids to put them in… and PLOP!
No more needs to be said other than maybe !!!

Another half-hour lost cleaning things up! Grumph!
I finished the medicationalisationings and got dressed.
acci-whoopBut guess what I did wrong… I got into the morning clothes and not the night attire!

After spending about two hours in total up to this point in the wet room,  then had to get out of the clothes I’d just struggled to get into, the jammie-bottoms, nightshirt, night socks and dressing gown.
However, I did manage to get the socks on without using the dreaded, deadly assured of being injured by .
But was injured by my losing my balance and hitting of all things to hit… my , on the corner of the floor cabinet as I went down on one knee, caused by a short attack from , just as I had one leg up off of the floor (talk about timing!) and setting off !!!
I suppose I ought to be glad I didn’t get a

I got the BBQ beans in the pan, and I added half a jar of 7-Meditterrraean roasted vegetable sauce and gently heated it up slowly, stirring all the time. Well, not all the time, cause I had to go back to the wet room for a quick wee-wee…
I found I’d left the sink tap running! , I’m not doing very well here, am I?
I got the meal served up. I had the potato from the crock pot sliced with the beans. And four of the part-cooked mini roll, oven-baked for six minutes.
Flavour-Rating 8.8/10. The rolls were delicious! I gave them a quick spray with some olive oil when I put them in the oven.

Sacrosanct Herbert was back to his usual concert of mechanical noises.
The tap-tapping with the occasional cappella solo.
And it was lovely. Even if I was missing my favourite ‘Heartbeat programme on the TV. Hehe!
Played and woke me up, and in came . I was very slow-witted and tired. It may sound odd, but doing ablutions with all the attached Whoopsiefangleploppery, Accifauxpas and cock-ups, I believe, took a lot out of me. Poor old sausage! Hahaha!
I did remember to check if she’d had her Christmas bottle of choice yet, and she had not – So she took her fancied pick. I think we had a natter, but what about escapes me… No, it doesn’t! It’s come back to me! It was about the poor . The lad has gone home due to his state of health. Oh, I do hope he’ll be alright! Carolynne departed after checking the taps and cooker, taking the waste bag with her. Nice gal! I locked the door.

I nodded off to sleep with relative ease. But it didn’t last. Back to the lousy fitful jumping awake and struggling to get back to sleep repeatedly! Harrumph!
