04:05hrs: I woke up, bursting into singing, badly out aloud; Oh, What a Beautiful Morning …
Oh, all right then...
I realised I needed a good shave and wash when I sniffed my torso as I got up to release the nocturnal catheter pouch. Hehe!.
The urine was a little dark again.
I was hobbling a smidge dodgily. I went into the kitchen, with the usual fear coming on that I’d find the hot tap or stove had been left on, but all was clear. As I took a photo of the high-in-the-sky moon.
I made a right mess of that one. Tried again…
This one was not a lot better.

Getting the diabetic socks off was not easy, and twice, I nearly took a tumble trying to get back upright after each sock was clawed off the legs. It had to happen, of course, as I tripped on the leg quilt that I had taken off. Somewhat painfully, although I didn’t hit the deck, managing to lean toward the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibblings, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige recliner, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300, ten years ago from the charity shop, which broke my fall.

. This displays my stupidity, as I was about to go to the wet room to have a stand-up wash and shave, thus washing off the Germolene in the process. Humph!

Off to the wet room. First things first…
Yellowy, runny, stinky!
Above all, it was messy!

I’d got the larger Morrisons PPs on and set about removing them along with the dried blood from , after he’d been tugged at by the . The crusted haemoglobin broke, and red flowed down my leg onto the floor. I had to clean it up before starting shaving, in case I slipped on it. That’s two close calls this morning. At the back of my mind, I knew a third was due.
A good job. I rose early again. But had to rush things a little in case the Carer called early.

Got the floor cleaned and started to get the shaving done. Things went well today. Just one teeny-weeny nick on the ear hole. But not for long...
Putting the razors away and dropping them both it was a deja vu again! I hit my forehead on the edge of the sink, and noticed, somehow, I’d missed it earlier when shaving, but the red-eye was back again.
Well, that was the third out of the way.

Dressing gown back on; it was a little cold without the strappings and socks on. But not for long…
Ten minutes later, arrived. She Germolened the right leg for me first off.
Then got the diabetic sock on for me, and we got the leg straps on between us. She did a good job of them. Then she issued the medications for me.
She’s spent a little longer with me than usual due to the extra fittings needed, and she had to rush off. Bless her. Did a good job all around.

I was on the blogging, and doing well, I thought.
Suddenly it was three hours later, and called on me. I was in a bit of a state of losing the memory of what I’d been doing for so long, and I mentioned the FND symptoms, of which memory loss is included, and she listened to me, which was nice. She took the laundry down with her for me.

After she’d departed, I made a brew of Glengettie.

Then returned to the computer to see what I’d been doing for hours. I came across a cloud photo that I must have taken earlier too.
This inspired me to take a look at the end car park mudslide, and I took this.
The pool had shrunken a little.

The leggings had not slipped. Mariam had done a good job on them this morning.

I made another mug of tea, and to my surprise, turned up. Where had the time gone? I was not concentrating at all.

No rush, I related the FND findings, but each time I looked at him he was on his mobile phone. Hehe! Nothing unusual with that. I was getting things off my chest to anyone who’d listen today. Even those who didn’t listen. Hahaha!

It is not advisable to think that because things like & have occurred three times in a day, and you have prevailed, it does not mean the fourth will not be the start of the next three. If you get my grift? I decided to get the oven heating up for the sausage and roast potatoes to be cooked for the daily meal later on.

I dropped the tray of potatoes, oh Woe…
The dish landed on my ingrowing toenail toe,
Slipped, retrieving each potato…
On the oven, I banged my elbow,
Got them in the oven, on the wrong regulo,
And I’ve lost my remaining libido!
Hehehe!

Do not be idle like wot I was, and buy any Asda prepared frozen roasting potatoes for any meal.
You will not like them unless you like the flavour of mushy-crushed cardboard. I imagine if anyone ate them, they would end up with tummy aches, as wot I did. And I only ate four of them before dishing the others in the waste bin, post haste.
Although Not Glorious This Time!

Washing the pots, and the view on offer from the kitchenette widow, although a little dull with the clouds, was still Bootiful!
Then a closer Kodak Tim shot was taken.
A charm in this one?

CHEERS!

Morning rain.

End car park mudslide.

Computing. Rain continuing

Confused, lack of concentration.

Computing going slowly.

Well…

Iceland delivery arrived.
Five items were not available.
Beans, crisps, bananas, beetroot & bleach.
Sausages, ham, more sausages, some honeyed parsnips
and battered cod balls.

Started to watch some old Del-Boy episodes.
Social Lady Sarah arrived. We spoke with me, mentioning my suspicions about having FND and why. She will talk about the Carers to check on Little Inchie to see if he’s bleeding or not. And the Doctor about the FND. Something less, but I can’t recall now… Oh, yes! She is going to call and sort the dates of the medications for me next week.

Cara Shaquille did a great job on my pouch changeover and legging straps.

Cara Kara helped with checking food orders, taps, heaters, the stove, etc. ♥

Had a good few mind-blanks today.

Simple nosh tonight for the simpleton to eat.
Honeyed parsnips,
They are just out-of-date chips.
Sausage baps…
And a sauce dip!

The carer did the last call. Put the night bag on, removed the strappings, and realised he’d forgotten to bring the laundry back up for me.

It seems to me that every week, some animal is freed from a life sentence for murder and commits another killing! This scumball Bierton has now achieved three murders of elderly women, two while released from prison with the blessings of the overpaid, incompetent members of our HMG Parole Board, killers!
Enough is enough!!!

Well, what happened when I woke up at 04:30 was terrific. I thought as I looked through the open, curtained balcony window, a ghost or even person waving at me! Well, when I got around to uploading the photo I took of it: Of course, it could have been splattered nocturnal bird poo?
It did look like that. Can you see it? Or is it just me and having a mental disagreement over the issue? Obviously, it is just a reflection from somewhere. I hope! Hahaha!

I escaped from the second-hand shop bought nine years ago for £300, c1966 built, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner, and released the Catheters nocturnal pouch, and took a snap of it with.
The contents were much lighter this morning.

After ponderisationing for a while, I made a decision…
Yes! These things still happen occasionally. I recall making up my mind in 1961, August 27th it was. But Grizelda had other ideas on that occasion, so we didn’t go to the pictures but stayed at home, making mad, passionate love. I recall it, cause I’m still hoping to be in that position again before I croak out…
Oh no, I can’t, can I, not now, with the bloody Catheter on and the damned  Finasteride tablets tearing my prostate to shreds, thus I have no way of producing the goods anymore. Gragknangles!
Not that I’m likely to find myself in such a position again. I’m waffling, aren’t I? Sorry. I grabbed hold of, it and limped into the kitchen to get the kettle on to make a brew of my favourite drinkie, Glengettie tea. But the site through the windows, was showing the moon through the clouds. So I fetched , and had a go at taking a decent shot for once.
I was pretty pleased with my first close-up effort.
I tried again, a little more zoomed in.

By Jimminee, this was a decent effort.
I nearly got excited; it’s been that long since a shot-in-the-dark photo came out like this for me, after so many failures or intentional modern art efforts. That a
erupted. Haha!

But the kettle did not get put on. My memory magically and momentarily engaged and reminded me that I had to shower and shave before a Carer arrived.
A change of plans again; my hesitancy, indecisiveness. uncertainty and dithering returned.

I made another decision – Oh, Yes! I will not have a shower at this time in the morning and wake the neighbours with the noise it makes. I’ll have a strip wash and shave instead. I was pretty pleased with myself for doing that, and yet another mini was enjoyed…but not for long.
I got the clothes ready to get into, put the dressing gown in the laundry bag, and tackled getting the diabetic socks off of the legs. This was when I realised I had not taken off the alert alarm or medical wristbands, so I did. Then, I had the wrong glasses on for shaving as I went in through the wet room door. As I turned to go back to swap the specs, I hit the door frame with the right shoulder, and this set-off, , which was not a good thing when shaving. My started to fall all over the place! The earlier enjoyed smug modes were a distant memory now. So, I changed plans after a little ambivalent faffling. I decided to remove the PPs…
Gawd, had Little ever bled so much before overnight. NO! The blood had dried rock solid on my hair and skin! Naturally, the removal of the pants caused it to start bleeding afresh! More mess to clean up and another battle to stop it bleeding!
I’ll not mention the pain, either. But it hurt.

Then, as I was struggling to to get the fresh PPs on…
That was nice for a change.

So, the rear quarters were thoroughly washed and medicated… taking care not to disturb .

Then, a good all-over body scrub. Well, where could I reach to get it without bending and causing any further damage to the testicle quarters?
Then, being as had died down, I tackled the shaving. Amazingly, I avoided any cuts on the neck or face whatsoever!

Oh, dearie, me…
I was putting away the shaving tackle, I dropped a razor, & automatically grabbed it before it hit the deck.
So, the medicationalisationing started again. I sliced a mini-slither of flesh from the end of my thumb on the razor blades. Luckily it was the right thumb, so there was no pain at all, as we were not getting through to my brain to tell it what had happened at the time. A heck of a lot of cleaning and medication had to be done. Tsk!
Thanks to the Germolene and heavy-duty plasters.

I got the fresh togs on and off to the kitchen to prepare the potatoes and peas for later.
I returned to the wet room to check I’d not left the water running; all was safe.
The itching started again on the legs.
I got on the computer, but the itching was very tempting to scratch, but I managed to avoid it.

Made a brew at last.

The lad looked drained when he came and was not in a good mood; he’d been doing extra calls.
I asked him if he would put some of the cream for the Acne on my legs. He did so, and then he got the diabetic socks and legging straps.
Hope he can get some rest today.

Afternoon Shot.
Evening Shot.
Night shot to the right.
Night shot ahead.
Night shot to the left.
Not so good, this one.

Nibbler did the last two calls.
removed.
The papule lesions were creamed by Chris.

This may have been a top-scoring rating had it not been for the terrible Asda potatoes. The sausages, peas and, in particular, the green pickled tomato salad were all great and tasty! I’ve taken to these pickled tomatoes. The ingredients are Green Tomatoes 50%, Water, Red Pepper, Vinegar, Sugar, Carrot, Onion, and Salt. At only £1.69 a jar on a Special Offer at Asda, I got carried away and ordered another jar to be added to next week’s delivery. Nice, tangy!

Now For a Shock for You (and me)…

Well, this cheered me up a smidgeon! It was photo’d this morning in Sherwood, too!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

04:15hrs: I stirred back into a poor semblance of a mock imitation life. Again, the first ailment to bother me was from . She was giving me some hassle when I first tried to move the knee to get into a position to photograph the overnight catheter pouch. I took the picture and then tackled the task of removing my rhinoceros-like body from the clutches of the c1968, tatty, scruffy, unkempt, uncomfortable, virus, microorganism, bug, bacterium, bacillus, germ, parasite producing, and disease-fermenting second-hand, eyesorely-horrendously grungy beige-coloured, £300, charity shop bought, crumb-retaining, moth-eaten, non-working, itch-encouraging, incommodious, Haemorrhoid Harold testing, catheter tube yanking, recliner. Which brought to mind the promised delivery of the proper safety rail not maturing. I’ll be pleased when it does arrive, and I can use the bed at last.
The summoning arrived to get to the, with some haste. A damned close thing it was too! Phooey, stinky and a very oddly shaped evacuation. Actually, looked like slices of bacon?
Washed and cleaned up, then went to the kitchen and saw the moon was in view. So, I fetched from the front room and tried to get a close-up shot of the planet. As you can see above, it was not one of my best efforts. Does it remind you of anything? It does me; I just wondered if it did to you?
The second try was not very good either. But I was fed up with failing on night shots for the past week. So, I tried yet again to get a decent one. Ah, this time, it came out decently, I thought! The nearby unseen clouds in the other pictures gave it a certain ambience… is that the right word?
I tried a wider shot, which came out with more colour. There is obviously a reason for this. But I’ve no idea what it was. Hehehe!

Onto the computer. A lot of work is needed, with me being far behind everything. I need to make templates (A long, long job), graphics, the ode, and get a new cartoon made… but; , my plans were changed when I felt the blood trickling on my leg. ! Back to the wet room. I think the bleeding must have started on the earlier visit and dried, then I must have caught it, and it flowed again. Cause when I investigated the situation, the blood was shot a fair distance as it squirted through the dried bits. The floor and cabinet instead looked like they’d been decorated for Christmas with rich red spots. Which was (blood, Hahaha!). Things did not go well… I’d not put the cap back on the Daktacort ointment properly, and it had hardened so much that it could not be used. So, stopping the flow was a difficult job. I had to use the only thing I could try, the Germolene cream. Which is not a blood-stopper but is a good pain-easer. Half a roll of toilet paper and ten minutes later, the bleeding seemed to be easing off. So I put some kitchen towelling inside the PP’s. I must remember to check it later in case it leaks again. It was nice that I’d rolled some towelling in there; it made it look bigger. Sad, innit?

Back to the computer, and ‘Oh, Susan chimed out from the door chime. had arrived. I asked him not to put on the diabetic socks,  or , as I was hoping to get a shower and shave later on. Because of many reasons, this did not happen! Richard sorted the medications; extra Paracetamol and Peptac were given. I didn’t wish him a Happy Christmas cause I knew he was working over the holidays, but I hoped he’d get some sleep in. Nice chap, even if he does tell me off. Hehe!

Concentrated on getting the first job done. Creating the templates for a few future blogs.
I remembered I was going to

ring Sister Jane back.
So, I did, but was forgetting some people make a Christmas day meal. Even prisoners in jail get Christmas day meals. But not yours truly. Soup & bread will do for me. She was busy making her and Pete’s Christmas Dinner. I said I’d ring back later. But they may be sitting watching a football match or film or falling asleep after their wonderful Christmas Dinner. But a can of chunky vegetable soup and Milk Roll bread is more than enough for me! Oh, yes! It doesn’t bother me. Not at all.

arrived. I read I didn’t make him feel comfortable cause I was halfway through making the templates and scared of forgetting where I got up to. But the lad understood, I think. He even took a photo of me wearing Sister Janes ‘Christmas Elf’ tea shirt she bought me a few years ago. Bless him.
Here it is, Jane!
I offered treats and nibbles to the lad, and he took another photo, which came out brilliantly! I think you’ll follow me here, I hope. With me having ,  the skin is constantly shedding and falling on my chest. When he sneaked the shot in, I thought the skin was falling again and tried to wipe off the snow spots on the t-shirt! Hahaha! He even caught my hand wiping the imaginary skin flakes odd the shirt. Thanks, Chris!

I finished the templates and got on with making a few cartoon graphics. I spent hours on this but just could not concentrate. I may have spent too long on the odes and warped my already dented mind?

Time for Food!
The last of the beef chunks, the last of the chunky roast potatoes, with garden peas, and Polish green tomatoes pickled salad. (Really sharp and flavourful) A Taste Rating of 8.4/10 was granted to this nosh. Washed the pots, and tried to take some shots of the evening view on offer…
Yes, I think I got something wrong in the first two efforts? Well, I must have done summat wrong. Tsk!

The last one was terrible, but at least you can see what it was supposed to be that I was photographing.
Not a good outcome, but I was tired and was just starting to kick-off as I took the pictures. Or, something like that; Does that sound okay for an excuse? Hahaha! Love to know what it was I did wrong, though.

I checked the taps, (faucets); the oven-cooker was off, and plonked down in the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966. moth-eaten, bedraggled, grotty, cringingly-beige-coloured, much-dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, itch-inspiring, not working recliner. To see if anything was worth a viewing session on the TV. There was! A murder comedy, that I fell asleep watching twice this month. I snuggled down, got the hearing aids and subtitles on, and Zzz, within seconds, the adverts came on and I drifted off!
But I needed the sleep.

But an hour later, the last Carer called, which woke me up sufficiently, to know I had to empty the , before putting on the , the lad looked drained and tired.
After he’s gone, I perused the TV schedule, and found the same film on another channel just starting. Hurrah! So I resettled again and went through the same procedure, adverts came on, and I went off to sleep, swiftly.
But, could I stay asleep? No!
was not to blame, nor was ! Tonight it was the turn of to take over the nocturnal shift. (It’s only fair my ailments take it in turns). And Gordon Bennet did she! Relentless she was for hours on end; she’s never been this bad for years.

Oh, nearly forgot…

Cheers!

04:45hrs:

Nocturnal pouch, lighter this morning.

Rain and howling wind when I opened the kitchenette window. Caught a few refreshing drops of cold rain in the mush. I did laugh!

: I struggled to get the diabetic socks off of my legs. Causing a mini  , which cost me a lot of time and pain cleaning up, before I trod it all over the floor. Which didn’t work cause I trod it all over the floor and then the hallway as I fetched the vacuum!
I didn’t actually spit, but came close!
I only had one cut shaving, but it was a fairly decent one, requiring the application of the Brut aftershave a few times before I stemmed the flow.
For once, and this is very rare indeed, I only had one short . Which barely lasted for about three seconds! Great! I’m anticipating some follow-up sessions, though.
The Red Eye was hardly noticeable! But as the carer mentioned later, it is above the eye that he can see it?

Then…
.

I sorted the waste bags.
Then got onto the computer to try to get some blogging done while I had the time.

. arrived. He’s got a lot on today, but he didn’t mind. The new ankle socks were looked at, but we continued with the diabetic long socks, which after creaming the lesions were put on, then the ankle straps. Then the leg straps… then repeated on the left leg. He did a good job of them today, and I was able to get the inside-outside slippers on easily enough, bless him. I was going to ask him to help me get the trousers on, but decided against this, differed that I am, when I recognised that I would not be able to empty the day catheter while the trews was on, so didn’t. I’ll get them on later. Hopefully, without any s.
Then empty the pouch just before the battle to get the trousers on. But feel sure it’ll go alright.

was bleeding, and I had some red skin on the leg near the top of one of the straps. So they got a bit of medicationing from me.

I did a bit of work on this blog after finishing off yesterday’s. Then started to collate the things needed for the hospital visit.

Being the idiot I am. I set of down in the lift to get to the foyer on the ground floor, the elevator doors opened… and I realised I’d left the camera and hearing aids up in the flat – Wot a Burk! So, back up to the apartment. (It sounds classier than the flat, Hehehe) Could I find the hearing aids that I know I’d left on the ottoman? No! Well, not for ages, eventually finding them in the kitchen on the window ledge. I shot down so as not to miss the lift from Easy Link.
The driver was the pleasant lady who took me to the hospital. Lovely gal. She had two other passengers on the bus, I tried talking to them in greeting, but the two were not responsive, poor things, still I tried to give them the odd nod and smile en route. I was dropped off first at the Audio Clinic. I got a little confused when I got out, but the lady made a joke of it, she is sweet. I asked if she would be picking me up to go back, and she said no. So I insisted she take a drinkie and nibbles from the . Why she asked me. I said ’cause it’s Christmas, and I’ll sulk if you don’t take some. She laughed and obliged me.
I thought there was time to take some photographs of the front of the building…
In my earlier semi-panic to find the hearing aids, I’d forgot all about getting . Boy, I was getting weed off with myself!
Into the Psychotherapist Appointment…
That wasn’t a Psychotherapist Appointment!
I’d looked forward to it so much as well. A chance to explain all my difficulties and problems to someone at long last. But No! I should be so lucky! The lady on reception casual said, “Oh, we put the wrong department on the letter, did we?” As she was reading it! That and the earlier cock-ups lessened my spirits.
I took a seat as instructed and waited for my name to come up on the new panel on the wall. It seemed ages before my turn came, but I was in no rush.
I thought I’d have a go at the crossword book at least I’d remembered to take that and a pen…
But not my reading glasses!
Some days are destined to go wrong… well, in my case, every day is, and does!
My name came up and a young lady came to fetch me to her room. I was there not for the mental condition, but to have new hearing aids tested and supplied!
I fear I could not resist telling her and showing her the letter, and of my disappointment and followed up with all the hassle with the computer, the landlines, the new TV, and the Emergency Alarms all going down. She wasn’t interested at first, but by the time I stopped the moaning and groaning, I’d converted her to show sympathy for me at least. Hahaha!
She did a magnificent job of testing my ears, and the new aids are working brilliantly. She was told earlier of my inability to replace the tubing nowadays and told me to ring for an appointment and come in and they will do it when needed for me. She also gave me some batteries to take with me. Lovely-jubbly!
When I got out to the waiting, reception area, ~I knew there would be another cock, I’d made five and these tend to come in threes – I’d forgotten what time the bus was picking me up. I could not see the front door from the seating area. The thought of going out in the terrible winds that were blowing was not good. On the way in, we saw many rows of dustbins that had been blown all over the place in Sherwood, City Centre and the college area. In fact, when I went out to see if the bus had arrived, the hearing aids were nearly blown out of my tab holes. Also, I could feel the pressure of the filling-up catheter bag in the trousers, most uncomfortable. I dare not go to empty it, in case I missed the lift…
Then a receptionist man came to me, I must have been showing signs of concern or something, and asked if he could help with whatever the problem was. bless him.
He then fetched a high chair and put it in their foyer, so I could watch for the minibus arriving. Which it did an hour & ten minutes later. Steve, I think the driver’s name was. He’d looked after me before. So I insisted he have some treats as well. When we got back to the flats… erm, apartments (Haha!) How I got those hundred yards to the foyer door without being blown over, losing a hearing aid, or being hit by the twigs, empty bottles and bags in the wind, I don’t know.

I was so glad when I got inside.

Home photos taken. I think they are in chronological order, as they came on Kodak Tim. Here they are:

First photo when I got in.

Drizzling starting.
The pouch just emptied.
Excellent colour!
Drizzling still…

Aha, stopping at last.
returned the laundry for me.

Very nice nosh. Flavour: 8.3/10.

Wobble on here, so tried again.
.
Ah, this was a better effort!

I hope so! Cheers!

I’m still miffed at not seeing someone about my neurological problems today.
Since getting home, I had a and a few . AGAIN! I left the hot tap running and the water ran cold. Then also, yet again , while trying to get the heavy large quilt folded. A landing on the knees affair, so it could have been far worse… still painful mind, with &
the main victims of the incident.  on his next and last call, folded the quilt for me.

Best of Luck, each!

Nocturnal urine is a better colour.

Eurgh!

Itchy ankles and legs. Multi-coloured?

Used the new razors… well, I say new; I bought them years ago and lost them. But the Social Lady and District Nurse found them when cramming the stuff in the spare room when making space for the bed. Haha!
Not a single cut! .

Well, had to go again…

Haemorrhoid swabs were medicated in the sink.

I decided to house up the spuds before the get more growth on them. Last of the Leicester Red Cheese, and later on, to make cheesy baked potatoes. Well, I do love them. They’ll be the last for a while.

The sun tried suddenly to get through the gaps in the clouds, beautiful!
Not sure why I took another shot?

A later snap.

Sunsetting.
Closer shot…

Ah, I missed the stand… Tsk!

Up to date, the failures of the Oligarchs are only…
Another improvement?

A lot of time was spent preparing the cheesy potatoes. But no Accifauxpas this time… well, KI did drop a jar of seasoning, but it missed my toes and didn’t break, so I thought it was worth mentioning… although I have mentioned it now… What day is it?

The Cheesy Potato Feast!
I’d just sat down to eat it, and Carer Atere arrived a little earlier than usual. This took the edge off of my enjoying the meal, but having a chin-wag made up for it.
My ankle, leg straps and diabetic socks were removed after giving me the medications. Nice, lad.

Sleep came easily enough, but the bugger didn’t last long. made sure of that!

At last, a slower day for Inchy. Of course, that does not mean a lot, considering the previous two hectic days suffered. There were a few moments, well, incidents that nearly got me in a semi-panic, though.
The new used ex-hospital bed unexpectedly arrived so soon via Red Cross UK this afternoon.  gave way again. She’s getting cunning nowadays… gone are the sharp pre-warning pains that used to give me a chance to get some support held on to. Now, she just collapses. Little Madam!
The cough is developing into a bit of a rasper.
However, I decided to have a go at making some baked cheesy potatoes. They are in the oven now as I type this blog… hello, I can hear an alarm going off. I’d better check on it… Nope, I can’t hear anything now. I’ve checked the flood alarm, and it’s not my flat fire alarm; that would be very loud, and I can’t even fail to hear that one when it activates.
Anuvver quickie.

It’s a decent colour this morning.

Off to get the done.
The legs looked much improved.

A bloodless shave! That was done with the feet in a bowl with Dettol and baking soda in it. It was a stand-up wash, but the feet were out of my range to get at. Messy!
I had a seat on the Porcelain’s plastic lid.
Personal Medications carried out. (Ouch!)
Creamed the Excema and acne.
Is that a bit of red eye, I see, now?

Snap from the kitchenette window.

Waste bags sorted.

The new second-hand used bed. I was taking this photo when it rang out from the front door. A chap walked in from the Red Cross, the people who kindly delivered the bed for me with a no-fall bar to be fitted to the bed. They have sent one for a different bed to this one. It would not work. He said he’d tell them to see if he could get a bar fitted later for me. It can’t be helped.

Getting lighter now, much later than usual.
I have no idea why, but then again, having no idea, being confused, or not knowing what I was doing or going to do minutes earlier after getting a visitor or a topic subject changes is perfectly normal for me.

At long last, I got the computer on…
Within an hour of no blogging done…
arrived. I eventually got a signal that stayed on for more than three minutes. Two hours and a lot of lost work later, the Liberty-Global total had risen to
I was infuriated and pissed off, and the signal suddenly stayed on. Well, for a while. At least. But my confidence was lacking.

I got the largest of the baking potatoes from the pack.
It was a whopper! I heated the oven, and my taste buds tingled at the thought of having some cheesy baked spuds! Of course, I returned to the computer and forgot all about the potato that was slowly being incinerated in the oven.

Now, this confused me greatly.
I’ve been in full command of all evacuations for at least two weeks and have been taking the above capsules daily. The bubbling and agitations within the bowels continued, but not the faintest sign of any movement?
I gave it plenty of time. I even counted the cracks in the ceiling and had a go at the crossword puzzle, but nothing came out, not even any wind! Yet I still have the sensation from within, all the usual signs, rumbling, grumblings and pressure from the innards, forewarning me of a rear-end tsunami being imminent.

Came, and I gave up on computing altogether.

I got the well-baked potato out of the oven, the veg chopping board out, a sharp knife, fork and strong spoon, and the spud halved. No cuts!
Then, I sliced the flesh into two halves, husks, left putting the Germolene on the burnt fingers cause I knew there was more to burn.
Then, I added some Squid sea salt. Spirit vinegar and a smidgeon of.
Black pepper.
A hefty load of Leicester Red shredded cheese and bashed it all together as best That I could, for about twenty minutes, it felt like. Probably nearer five, though. Served up the nosh! It’s not the best cheesy baked potatoes I’ve ever done, but that may have been due to the blood from the finger when I sliced the tomatoes. Hehehe!.
Flavour-Rating: 8.5/10.

Carer Benjamin g Arrived. I asked him to take the laundry with him, specifically asking him to make sure that it was well-dried, as the quilts would be needed for the new bed. He had a nibble and some Lucozade, and off he went, with the laundry in the bag.

Had a go at taking some night shots of the view. I wanted to take a close-up of a decorated house.
Wobbled?
Wobbled!
And, again, Wobbled!
It’s an even closer effort. Wobbles!
I gave up and took a wide shot.
A half-decent one at last! Haha!

I fell asleep and returned, leaving the freshly done (but I discovered in the morning, still wet & crushed into the bag) laundry.
He took off the ankle, leg straps and diabetic socks for me. Selected a drink, had a nibble and went off leaving the light on in the hallway. I was half asleep, of course.

Easy one this time, wasn’t it?

Getting back to sleep was impossible for several hours. Not due this time, too, but the   of that felt much worse than ever now. Poor little thing.

Inchy: Sunday 3rd December 2023

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
One fault, but twice!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

The snow had fallen overnight. It was so cold in the kitchen, and my having developed a cough & cold was bad enough. But the heater in the kitchen was still not working! When I put the computer on later, it said it was -2°c (28°f) in Nottingham. So it must have been lower than that when I got up.
It’s these visits, as much as things that constantly go wrong, which are doing my head in. Shaking them off is getting harder than ever, and they stay for longer and have been more frequent over the last two days. I must force myself to ask for help with these things. It’s stifling my sense of humour, confidence and hope. Someone who might read this can help me. But then again…

Makes things seem worse. I’m sure that I’ve got arithmaphobia and am not getting help with the banking problems that I can’t cope with. Also, I know one shouldn’t, but I listed my significant mental and physical difficulties on the web, and now I think that I just may have Huntington’s disease. *The first symptoms of Huntington’s disease often include difficulty concentrating. Memory lapses. depression – including low mood, a lack of interest in things, and feelings of hopelessness. Stumbling and clumsiness. Well, that’s me to a tee! And relatives suffered with it in years gone by.
Still, what do I know? Now, I just want to free myself mentally, and then the physical side can be looked at. As if I’m going live long enough for that, Huh! The catheter has been in for about a year, the urine stinks to hell, and nothing is being done other than three tests where they removed the entire; let me try to wee manually overnight. They returned and did a scan to find the bladder was still over ⅓-full. Put the damned painful tube back in and carried on… what a Carry-On! Haha! Arthur Itis, the Cartilages, Peripheral Neuropathy Pete, Hard of hearing Harold, Dizzy Dennis, Duodenal Donald, Reflux Roger, Lymphorrhea Leslies Leaking legs, Shuddering Shoulder Shirley, the problem with my vision… I’m sick of these things going through my mind & brain whenever kicks-off, and the cursed ever-increasing spells fall on me.

I’m not sure if I feel any better for getting that off my chest or not, which, incidentally, along with my chest, face and legs, have Acne and Eczema. It’s ruining my handsome, spotless features, you know. Just noticed this, I’ve got rid of the red-eye, and now I’m getting a red chin? Haha!

Moving on…

I woke around 05:00hrs> I checked on the colour of the Catheter nocturnal pouch and was pleased to see it was much lighter this morning. Escaped from the £300 second-hand shop bought, c1966, moth-eaten, bedraggled, cringingly-beige-coloured, itch-inspiring, grotty, dilapidated, crumb-containing from my nocturnal nibblings, bug-ridden, not working recliner, and hobbled to the Porcelain Throne, with a degree of anxiety that I may not get there in time! I barely made it. But did make a right mess to clean up after the evacuation finished.
Phwor! Worra mess!
I went into the kitchen, put the light on, and two remarkable things hit me! The most critical and confusing thing was that the kitchen heater was working! The other was the snow-covered views of Sherwood available to me for photographicalisationing. I fetched and made a start. Sadly, the first one and the few that followed were not too good due to the darkness and my inability to take a better picture, as much as I repeatedly tried.
But you can see the settled snow in amongst some of them.

Caught the lights on Mansfield Road in this one on the right and left.

I leant out the window, to take this one of the Winwood Court’s front car park.
There’ll be some car owners waking up with their cars in need of snow removal and maybe de-icing as well, and besides. Poor things.
I tried to capture a decent picture of Cavendish Drive with all the street lights on.
That’s the one I suspect has two drug-growing houses on it. The snow always melts first on their roofs. Hehe! I’ll check later, light, Peripheral Pete, weather permitting… and if I remember to.
Back to the wet room. Same procedure as the first visit. Smelly! Messy!
By the time I returned to the kitchen, the light had increased, and I had another go at getting just one reasonable photo taken. I gave up.

I made a brew of Thomson’s Punjana tea and got on the computer. Initially, it worked and connected the first time. I foolishly thought that maybe, perhaps  had improved their utterly abysmal record of failure to get a signal situation.
Within the hour, Oligarchs from Sad had struck six times. Everyone ruined what I’d done! Gits!
A blue hue, to the view now for you. Drops of rain were falling now and then.

The carer arrived at 0945hrs.
I found a Sister Jane email had been sent this morning. She had received a call from Meridian, telling her to let me know that the carer would be late or not come this morning. It’s unsurprising, with the weather out there and us living up a steep hill.
I assume that the Iceland delivery will not get here as well. The roads are atrocious. Carers must have been unable to get to work. No problem with my Iceland order not arriving; I’ve plenty of canned food and frozen.
I’ll not starve… or freeze now that the kitchen heater has miraculously unexpectedly started working again.

I took two photos of the weather view through the balcony doors from the computer chair.
I felt sure I’d caught a seagull in the second effort.
But I’ll be blown if I can see it now? Humph!

Off I went to the small room again.
Not a lot was passed, but by Jimminee,  it was so foul smelling that I used the fresh air spray in the wet room before leaving in a hurry. Hahaha!

I am still coughing regularly today, and a sore throat seems to be developing.

Back into the kitchenette, the warmed kitchen, thanks to the heater now working, took two pictures. The blue hue had gone, and a fog was beginning to come down now. The cars on Chestnut Way were now losing some of the snow from the side of the vehicles, so it may be warming up a smidgeon?

The mist and possible fog seem to be getting thicker, and the temperature is lowering, according to the MS computer, for Nottingham, than it was at 06:00hrs this morning.

Good Heavens!
is filling up more quickly again.
The day pouch slipped right down the leg with the weight.
Considering how tight I had the leg straps attached, this surprised me.
Then again, maybe not. I’m definitely in a lighter mood than I was earlier. Naturally, this can change at any time… at the first cock-up I make, signs of bad news bring back memories of my ailments and/or the list of jobs undone yet. Oh, and if should take a tumble. But I’m enjoying it while I can.

Well, the food is not coming. As anticipated. I just got a message from Iceland. I’ve got to book another delivery. But the weather is not good, so it may happen again. It’s not their fault; I’ll try to cancel it.

Getting on now, better get the can of beans opened and the leftover, just out-of-date bacon in the oven.
I seasoned the beans with my favourite Stubb brand Hickory liquid smoke, & it was Grrreat!
Tate-Rating: 805/10. Really enjoyed it, too. Washed the pots and got settled in the itch-creating, bruise-giving, catheter-tube-tugging, crumb-decorated from my nocturnal nibblings, God-awfully uncomfortable, cringingly-grotty, no longer working, dirty beige recliner, anti-sleep designed, c1966, second-hand bought for £300, ten years ago from the charity shop, put the TV on, and swiftly fell asleep for half-an-hour. Care Richard woke me up on his last call. Fitted the nocturnal night pouch to the catheter and issued the painkillers to me… that’s all I can recall.
Apart from not being able to get back to sleep again, thanks to persistent  raving away at my past demeanours and mocking my being in my current pathetic mental state. Making everything sound my fault, I believed him, and guilt crept into things.

TTFN, each!

Well behind after the hospital visit. This’ll have to be cut short. I took a few piccies. memory & confusion difficulties.

The urine is still too dark.

The moving moon. Or was it me moving?

Mug of Glengettie. My having to go out with trousers on, I did not drink anything else, in case the bladder did the dirty on me like on the last visit, and suddenly filled up, and the pouch dropped down my leg and I had a messy job of getting to the WC while holding onto the pouch, and walker, struggled to get into a cubicle, to empty the little monkey of a bladder bag!

Through the balcony window. It was -3c.

Carer, then a second visit to the

In an hour! Gave-Up!

Got it done in time, then sorted out the needs for the visit to the QMC. Got down to the foyer in plenty of time, and utilised the crossword book, while waiting for the Easy Link lift to arrive. Which came a little late. But with the state of the icy roads, I expected it.
Set off, with the nice driverless avoiding the speed bump route, after I mentioned the bleeding haemorrhoids from last week’s lift. Bless her!
Winchester Street icy- Hill.

Don’t remember taking this one at all? I was also confused as to how I’d got a different shape of photos from ?

EENT arriving, area freed of ice, Security Guards.

The driver dropped me off; she had to dash off for her next customer, so as I was walking in through the front doors of the EENT…
“There was movement in my trousers!”
Yes, the filled and fell down my leg. Once again, I had a messy job of getting to the WC, while holding onto the pouch, and walker, struggling to get into a cubicle, to empty the little monkey of a bladder bag! A chap helped me to get into the cubicle. Thanking him!
Got lost finding the treatment room, but someone was at hand to tell me it was at the end of the pointed out corridor, left through the double doors, and that’s it. I thanked them. They sent me to another corridor, but I found that one easily enough.
Took a seat after showing the lady the paper work.
A young lady collected me and we went into the sized for eye-testing room. A bath on several different machines, and although I did have trouble holding my head steady enough, and she had to do some of the procedures from scratch again when I apologised and mentioned Peripheral Neuropathy Pete being to blame, she was very understanding. Her Sister-in-Law suffers the same, so she was in the know of my problems. ♥
I’ve to arrange another eye test ASAP, as after the chart test, she said my vision urgently needs correcting.
Thanked her and departed…
Funny innit, how easy it is to get lost in a maze of corridors going in the opposite direction, that you went through two hours earlier? Hehehe!

I stayed in the snug NHS lift area, as the gal would not be back for a while, and I anticipate she will be late again with the weather she’s coping with. It was a lot warmer in that place to wait.

Took this snap as I fought off falling asleep.
I had to move to the front of the building to await the bus as the time was approaching. I sat in the outer lobby, where some chairs were available… But could not stand it for long. So cold, and the two sets of automatic doors forever opening and closing made it worse.
So I went inside and I leaned against a corner, leaning near a wall panel heater on the wall.

Half an hour later, the mini-bus arrived. The gal rushed toward me and said; “Sorry, got to go the loo!”
She disappeared from view…
Returning ten minutes later, saying Phew!

I took this snap as I settled in the minibus.
We were soon back at the flats. I insisted she have a choice of nibbles and drinks form the trolley, as she’d done a grand appreciated job for me today. ♥

Going into the foyer, I met three tenants that I’d not seen for ages. Gaynor keeps looking younger each time I see her. Lovely lady. Enjoyed a chin-wag with them.
Up to the flat.
Despite my not having drunk anything for several hours, the day pouch was already half-full after the emergency emptying at the hospital?
Not a good colour either, not for the daytime.

Made a start on this blog layout. I spent about three hours on this, CorelDraw was playing up again, and during the struggle…
went down six times

Gave up. I’ll have to get it done in the morrow.

The day pouch was soon filling up after I’d started to drink the water again. But still, a reddish colour that flowed into the pouch!

The Carer arrived, a helpful lad, Didn’t catch his name. Victor, I think. He tightened up the pouch strappings for me. Medications were given.
I think it was Victor, but could have been anyone with my lack of short-term memory, who sent me this photo of Sherwood. Yesterday or today’s scene?

I was well weary after the day’s gadabouts. Again, I didn’t feel up to bother with making a proper meal.
So, a burger cob and chips it was.
BBQ sauce and bread, and a pot of jelly.
Taste-Rating: 7.2/10. (I was hungry!)

The Lace holes.
Did you get it?
Well, done!

Fare thee all Well!

.

The first-day pouch emptying.
What the heck is that in the bowl?

It’s still icy out there…

The bottom field is, too!

Far end protected by the poor trees?

The pigeons were only on one rooftop?
It must be a feeder living there.

Took a tumble. Nae bother.

Nightfall.

I only got one of them. Tsk!

Bad day for the internet…

To Date!

Late Carer, from another sight. Fear, or Fuhrer, I think his name was. Lovely lad, Sorted me, no strapping needed. I tried some new hearing aid batteries. Not much of an improvement, though.

I got some chips in the oven and garden peas in the saucepan. I will do a burger of sorts to go with them a little later on.

Back later, I hope.

I’m Back!

Super-Meal! Taste: 9.3/10!

Not looking forward to the struggle to get to the hospital this Friday morning. Cheers!
