What a terrible day today.

Nothing went right much. I left the hot tap (faucet) running, which ran cold. So, no washing and shaving!
When my beloved Nurse Nicole arrived, at long last, I had a
, when someone could see it happening.
But what we spoke of and if we decided anything is in the hands of the dreaded
, cause I’d be blown if I could remember any details within seconds of the lady ♥ leaving.
had the worst day ever for brown-outs… almost non-stop. Some lasted for a minute; two lasted for over an hour.

With
buying entire and majority shares in internet and phone providers. Virgin, Giff-Gaff, BT, E, 3, Vodafone and many others, this does not bode well for the pratts like me who have no choice other than to use a company that has the
, number-benders and manipulators, smoke & mirrors, with their figure amending, analysation, altering, and their
deconstruction, dissection and manipulativeness of their evaluations and interpretations, which fair enough, that’s what
do; but they have in the process, through incorrect communication on their behalf,(Shouldn’t have mentioned that, it will only confuse them), left me and so many others at the aged living complex without a landline phone and Alert Alarm system for weeks! I bet they still charge us for this non-service? And their inability to get an internet signal that stays on for more than half an hour is mind-boggling! Their
CEO, who took home a $64m salary in FY2, plus guaranteed bonuses in shares…
Still, he’s a good looking Mafia-faced chap.
Not being able to do any work on this blog all day, I was fed up with losing the work I was in the middle of.
I’ll send him my hatred, jealousy and a pain-wish through the ether for Christmas.
See? They’ve got me all angst again!
I’m doing this Tuesday morning, so things are going to be tight today as well… Grrreat!

Sorry not much detail, time, you know!
Oh, Happy Christmas to Mr Fries and all his other Oligarchs. Hope they have a wonderful time.
.
I wouldn’t wish this on Mr Fries… Well…
Crudnuts! The milk was sour!
Does Mr Fries’ maid have this problem?
Dank, dark, depressing…
A bit like
.
No hot water to wash.
And oh, dear…
Brings
to mind!
Pale-skinned suddenly?
The Carers & Nurses’ treat box was refilled.
If Mr Fries wants to pop over, he can have some!
New troubles in the lower regions…
Left little toe gone all red and painful?
Under the bandaging,
.
Aha, the snow slowly goes…
Which is a little like my
signal does repeatedly every day!
The snow disappears… Just like
Nosh. Taste: 8/10.
Ice cream & cream. Taste: 8.8/10.
Cheers, each!
Amazing how quick snow and Internet signals can disappear. The double wee wee bag graphic is hilarious. The night shots are great outside of the depressing darkness of irregular Internet. It’s all sour like your milk. I think you need a wet nurse to make things better.
Well put on the snow & internet.
A wet nurse? Yes please, Tim! Hahaha!
Been busy this week, and another four appointments next week.
I really believed that retirement would bring rest and peace for me… Humph!
It’s important to have a fave nurse like that – helps record a better blood pressure.
It certainly does, Paul.
I can’t imagine how hopeless your internet “service” is. I live in a cattle-raising part of the USA – more cattle in Nebraska than people – and the word “service” has connotations that results in bulls + cows = new calves or, in your case, to speak of being serviced = to be blanked!
Is this poor service universal in their area of “service” or just Nottingham or your part of town?
I have occasional outages here when my provider performs maintenance on their hardware or upgrades, but my service generally is pretty reliable. Their technical support is excellent and they notify customers if they plan to be down for some reason and how long they anticipate being down.
Hi. Doug.
Virgin Media used to a great service when I first joined them. Oligarchs Liberty-Global bought them out and they’ve gone downhill ever since. (Liberty-Global) Virgin Media – O2 Owner Paid their CEO $62 Million during the pandemic!
They should be sending a technician on Tuesday, but I’ve no confidence that they will – hope I’m wrong.
Its only gone down five times this morning, for a few minutes each time, maybe they are trying to upgrade my service from a distance?
Of course each time it goes down I have to work out what I’ve lost or not lost previously, hence no tiome to get anything done. Grrr!
Jenny says that she has spoken to some other tenants who tell her their Virgin is alright. The three I’ve spoken to, all lost their telephone and alarm system, and its not back on yet!
Virgin is the worst supplier for brown-outs and communication it said on a rating site. But the others, BT, 3, EE, Vodafone and GiggGaff, have all been bought out by Oligarchs Liberty-Global or at least have most shares in the other companies… they are going to take over Europe and South American internet control… the thought of it scares me, mate.
Loss of telephone service is a primary reason I don’t bundle this service with my internet s
A good decision, Doug!
