– – – – Or is that 1.84bn? – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -.

Another ‘in and out of it’ day.
However, far fewer ‘Out-of-its’ than ‘Almost with it’ moments.
Genuine ‘With-It’ events you can count on one hand.
I still managed to get so far behind with everything.
Make multiple errors & mistakes.
Not a bad day, really, for me!
No, that might be stretching the point!
Sorry about the delightful moments of my Pareidoliaing.
I found a feast of figures in the clouds at various
times during the day & night. ..
A weakness of mine, as you know!

Up at 04:30hrs; Throne and ablutions were tended to.

Care Richard arrived. Nice to see him. He got the prescription medications issued and evaluated. Managed a mini-natter.

Healthier-looking pins today?

Only three visits to the challenging today.
was not so bothersome, but… the
were back again. Humph!

No work was done on my unknown neighbour’s house today.
Fair enough; it is Bank Holiday!

Got some fresh veg cooking, and am going to add them to a can of cheap vegetable soup. My designs were to have this at around 13:00hrs. But as per, they didn’t work out. I got the meal at 22.45hrs.
Better late than never!

A few Pareidoliaing moments were enjoyed, as the sky with its fast-moving clouds turned a smidgen blur… Two eyes, or marbles at the bottom of the first effort, above.
Higher in the sky shot. An explosion taking place?
A Pareidoliaing success here. (Above)
It looked to me as if a keyhole had been cut through the clouds as if they were made of snow? I can see a head in there, as well.

The fresh and canned vegetables were merged in the saucepan and flavoured a little… Then got forgotten about for a good few hours!

Later on, the skies began to lose their blue tinge a little.
I can see two whales kissing each other?
And a swan taking to flight?

Ten minutes later, the sun started to descend.
Looks like a Red-Dwarf craft in there?.

Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…

Late afternoon.
Down comes the sun.
Pareidoliaing: I see an animal’s head
with its jaws open in the clouds? Mayhap
chasing the small clouds on the right?.
A mane on the animal’s head?.

Back onto the computer…
Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…

The handsome-looking mirrors & Smoke boss Man Fries, paid with Liberty-Global’s $ 24 billion to buy Virgin Media, doesn’t seem to be interested in this constant failure? Yet manages to afford flashy untrue, advertisements on the TV, of how great, and reliable… (Sorry, I had to stop for a laugh there!) Virgin Media is.
Mind you, my experiences with BT a few years ago, were almost as bad as Liberty-Global-Virgin Media.

acci-whoop

I was taking out the potatoes from the oven to add to the soup.
I thought about other people with neurotic problems, and wondered how they coped when the shakes, shudders or topples happen?
At least with my having this as one of my ailments, there are times, like this incident, when can be a semi-blessing. As I tore the finger from the oven door, there was no pain whatsoever. Of course, as ‘s habit, when the nerve ends finally get the message to the brain to tell it that It’s in pain… it could be seconds or hours later, the belated agony can catch you out.
Come think of it, it did today. I was washing out a spring water bottle, when the message got through to my brain, and dropped the flipping thing. Hey-Ho!

The sunset, such as it was, was not photographed very well…

.
A wide shot first.
Couldn’t get it right, as it looked to me.
.
A close-up shot.
Couldn’t get it right, as it looked to me..
After the sun had descended.
I got it betterer, as it looked to me.

The Meal Was Served

.
Not a very pretty-looking meal at all!
But, it went down nicely!
I’m going to try another like this tomorrow.
The Carer called as I was scoffing at it.
I soon finished it off. Taste-Rating: 8.3/10!
Medications taken. A little chin-wag was enjoyed
The gal is off to Skeggie with her boyfriend tomorrow.
Hope she enjoys it.

Then, although so late, I decided to make a start on this blog.
Else it’s going to take too long in the morning if I don’t make a start.
This was the case; when I opened the Internet…

Would you believe it – , , , barely believable…
AGAIN!

Their Trustpilot Rating is no surprise!
This made me check on BT…
.
Blimey, an alternative load of crap!

Things could be worse I may have caught pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis!

06:15hrs: I leapt from the £300, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner. Threw off the catheter night bag and did 100-press-ups. Then 300 toe touches while I yodelled loudly.
A bit of shadowboxing and some torso turning. A couple of minutes of weightlifting… Then woke up for real
and prevented me from moving for a while. I grabbed the Pain Gel tube, and somehow managed to get up on my feet without tripping over the tubing, and lathered on where I could reach o the back, then took an extra Codeine Phosphate painkiller. It didn’t do much good.
Removed the night pouch, and I sat down again.
Boy was EQ right with his warning of ‘Pain to Come’ last afternoon.
The agony was too weak a word to describe it.

Struggled to get the thick slippers on.

Emptied the night bag, wrapped it and binned it in the appropriate bag.

Made a brew and waste bags up to the door.
Did the BP test while waiting for the kettle.
Then got the computer on.
After five minutes…

More followed! Tsk!

While the Internet was down, I tried to read the letter from Nuthall Hospital. But it was hard work with the spyglass. I asked a Carer to assist to make sure I got the time & date right. Put it on the calendar.

The Internet was back on again. Got on with updating yesterday’s not even started yet, blog. But…

While waiting for the Liberty-Global owned, Virgin Media to start again, I realised that it must be the demand on the system my Royalists wanted to see the Coronation? Or would that be right? Would it affect things?
I titivated the Carers stable a bit – and sod-it, & were joined by all increased their agonies inflicted on me. I know full well that I should not take Ipobrufen, but the Paracetamols are not doing anything to ease the pain at all, so I took one.

I must call and ask the Doctor if anything else is available. The sheer consistency of the three of them is grinding me down today. They are detritioning my resistance. I bet that EQ is reading this smugly after yesterday’s warning from him?

The Landline Flashed!
It was someone from DHL.
DHLHe informed me that they had been given the wrong area code, which is why the parcel was not delivered yesterday. I confirmed it with him. It will be arriving later today. After ringing off, I wondered how the food had been stored, cause there are some fresh foods ordered? Later a driver called me, couldn’t understand much of what he was saying, but gathered he needed instructions to the flats, Did my best.

Carer Rhamat, or was it? I think that was her name. To think, a year ago, I was almost proud of my memory of names. Not anymore!
While she was here, the DHL man arrived. Rahmat took the box from him and put it in the hallway for me. I said my farewells and forgot all about the box… the box I nearly tripped over and still didn’t empty it!

A vastness of a Memory-Blank came over me. A few hours later, I remembered the box in the hallway!
Set about sorting it out.
Got it opened and the things sorted…
This should see me through without an order next week.
Goulash etc., fit for a king!
But not Charles 3rd, me! Hehehe!.
There had been ice packs in the box. But with them coming a day late, they were now just bags of water. Got some meat for Sister Jane as a treat.

Back onto blogging…
ARRGH!

Carer Jo-Anne arrived, and I showed her whatever material it was that was in the box. We laughed as I said I could use it as a head scarf, and wrapped it around my head. She did laugh raucously (is that the right word?), and she took some photos of me. Hahaha!
This one she took with my camera.
We couldn’t work out what cloth it was. Used presumably to protect the food? The thing self-destructed, disintegrated later, and just fell apart – making a right mess of my dressing gown & carpet?

I shall have a bit of the vegetable bread loaf and potatoes for tonight’s meal, methinks.

Another Memory Blank, and the girl-ailments, after easing off a little, were back on full-throttle pain-wise.

I took this off of the TV earlier. I managed to watch about ten minutes of the performance. But found it a little sad in a way.
Diane, No-Sweat-Prince with a bad memory. The wonderful way in which Her Majesty visited the tenants of the Grenfell Tower Disaster!

Carer Chloe came (I’m pretty sure that name is right – but…).
I told her I’d taken a painkiller extra, so none for me tonight.
I do believe that the ailments are easing again? Or am I?

Fodder Making Time!

Just swede & carrot, with sea salt and a splash of vinegar.
Potatoes, vegetable loaf and the swede & carrots.
Two out-of-date cheap bread rolls.
And a pot of dessert.
All eaten up – and followed by…
Vegan ice-cream.
Overall Taste Rating: 7.8/10.

I put the computer back on, when I found some photos from this morning, that I swear were not on the SD card then, but they are now?
Such are the mysteries of Woodthorpe Court, with the ghosts, wraiths, spectres, cacodaemons, apparitions, and other grotesqueries that haunt the hallways and lobbies, searching for Inchie to curse with bad luck, create ambiguities, abstrucities, perplexities, misfortunes and botherations, to scare. worry and confuse me! Cataract Kathie, Neuropathy Pete and Doreen Dementia are the main culprits. There are others, of course!

The Missing Photos…
Just after midday, I think!
Front car park.
Pareidoliaist-time here. Can you see anything?

I took a final photo from the kitchenette window.

Nightie-Night All!

Out of the blue, unbeknown and unexpectedly, two young lassies, District Nurses, arrived. Their mission was to change the catheter, clean up Little Inchie and check the bum for me! This soon got an added duty and became: to change the catheter, clean up Little Inchie and check the bum for me – and try not to laugh or smirk when they saw Little Inchie for the first time! Then a Social Worker arrived as the nurses were leaving. An
in-depth Q-A session on my needs, this took another hour. I wish I could remember more of what took place, but Dementia Doreen was in full flow today
Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet went down three times today, thus delaying me even more in my own mission of getting the blog done!
It was Saturday morning late on when I finally got around to starting this blog from scratch – and up to this time of writing..,
Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet’s gone down three times alrSody!
I have to get a move on to get this one done, and the chances of my statodaydare’s, is somewhat remote… like the chances of Liberty-Global Virgin Media Internet ever working without going down, really!

I did manage some incrediblewesome sunsets; all the same, I think I might deserve a medal or ar least going into a Smug-Mode?

Feet are still bloated.

Morning view.
Close-up of home extensionings. Coming on well?
The bottomfield, is getting greener!

Ablutionisationings!
The dreaded water carriers!

Ablutionings done!

Spuds in the crock-pot.

First catheter pouch emptying after the nurses had left.
I think I can see some spots of whatever in the wee?
Oh, dearie me!

The second shot of the home extensionings was taken because I’d forgot I took the first one. Looks like some more work has been done?

Went dark in the afternoon.
Pareidoliaist Joy! And it got
much better over the next
hour…so….

I see so many things in these later clouds!
Bootiful!
Wider shot.
My favourite, found fish (some flying) and a face or two?
A wider shot reveals so much!
Later, looks like are waves approaching?
Sun gets through as she gets lower.
Took a zoomed-in shot…
Farewell…
Sadly…
All gone!

The last caller arrived and put the night catheter bag on for me.
A quick natter, and off she trotted.

It was very late by the time I got the meal served up.
It was only potatoes, nowt else but salt…
Well, the butter that wasn’t butter…
Yet it tasted even better than butter!
On offer at the moment at Asda! (Walmart).

Jolly Good Morning!

.- – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Good, Morning!

Food Delivery. I’d just finished refilling the W.C. water tank for the second time this morning and was already giving me enough gip – but by the time I’d got these into the kitchen, agony reined. Seemed to stay with me all day long? Morrison’s had some fresh veg in stock!
Porridge, beetroot, milk, Shloer and treats for the callers and nurses.
Oh, and some extra painkillers in an effort to tame or at least calm down , and . They didn’t work!

Got two of the Desiree red potatoes in the crock pot.
When cooked, I’ll slice them up to go in the veg soup I’m hoping to make, using the ready-cut vegetables & seasoning’. I can usually manage to cut the potatoes without any injuries… well, the odd cut or burnt finger or droppings of the product. Tsk!

Took these shots of the sky and clouds, and I did a spot of jolt decent ‘Peaceful-Pareidoliaing’ for a while.
Plenty in these two for any pareidoliain to enjoy.

Hours of blog work later, I sliced the boiled potatoes and got them into the oven to crisp and toughen up to go in the soup.
Got the ready-cut vegetable in the saucepan.
Added some more seasoning to taste.
Got the baked potatoes added, served up and feasted! I’d left some in the pan to warm up tomorrow… it seemed a good idea…

.
Guess who ate his nosh, totally unaware that the idiot had left the heat on under the saucepan? Here’s a clue…
What a mess! I did my bestest to salvage the saucepan…
It is now laid to rest in multiple black coffin bags and laying at rest at the bottom of the waste chute tunnel.
R.I.P. It was an expensive one too! I now have four saucepan lids that don’t necessarily fit any of the others. And the waste tip was the destination of all four of them. Ah, there’s an idea, an Ode to Saucepan Owning Dementia Doreen Sufferers? Still, I have to say I really did enjoy the flavour of this effort; Not the cremation of the fodder left in the doomed saucepan; I meant the food I ate. Thought I’d mention that just for clarificationalistacalisationing.

After digging out what I could of the burnt offerings to go on the plate, this concrete had to get dished with the saucepan.

Worra Wild Sunset View!
Another Pareidoliaing session with this one.
Can you see the flying bird?
Dolphins in the sky?
The running tap?
Or is it just me?
Who can see?

Hehehe!

Oh, the nosh’s flavour rating, I missed that. Sorry.
Taste Rating: 7.5/10. Nice!

Auf Wiedersehen!

– – – – – – – – Good Heavens – A betterer Day! – – – – – – – –
Mind you, it only lasted for two minutes.  Things started and ended up in their usual rather chaotic, cumbersome, clueless, cruelly-mistake and error-filled lack of knowing what I was doing: What was it? And most of
whatever it was that I was doing was either not finished or forgotten about. Morning and then in the evening, the sparse few details of my
intentions, plans & designs merged with an unreality, but that seemed okay with me at the time. I quite liked that!

According to the sparsity of scribbled notes on the pad, I got up at 06:00hrs.
Removed the night pouch and took it to be emptied and sanitised. En route, and I can really remember this; partly due to its the first time I’d done it for many days and secondly for the agony that followed it. acci-whoop I had a , and cringed, whinged and moaned a little to myself.
I did notice that my blood was keeping away from my feet and toes?. Took this snap to show you.
The wee-wee in the night bag was a very good colour, although there was not an awful lot of it?
Not peeing, toe-stubbing, and now a blood-clot-threatening lack of movement from the cardiovascular system had gone on strike. Haha!
The betterer day was short-lived!

A sudden, urgent and unstoppable evacuation began of its own accord – no warning this time. I barely made it in time, had I not been in the kitchen, I would a phoo’d myself; that’s how close it was. Huh! was back in charge of the evacuations. More time was lost cleaning and freshening up and fetching water from the kitchen to refill the non-working WC water tank. Had a quick wash, and I got the kitchenette floor mopped. I did take a snap of it, but for some reason, it was not on the SD card?

Got the computer on, and the first Carer called. A little natter after she’d serviced me. Back to the blogging for yesterday that had not been done yet. It’s gonna be a long day again!

They just can’t get it right. Can they at Liberty-Global?
His bosses at the oligarch’s money-manipulating business bought out Virgin Media and have got involved financially with ‘3’, Vodafone and EE, as well. As they lyingly say on their web page:

We’re building Tomorrow’s Connections Today, bringing people together through the power of our technology. Liberty Global is a world leader in converged broadband, video and mobile communications and an active investor in cutting-edge infrastructure, content and technology ventures. With our investments in fibre-based and 5G networks, we play a vital role in society, currently providing over 86 million fixed and mobile connections and rolling out the next generation of products and services while readying our networks for 10 Gbps and beyond. We’re creating national champions, combining the best broadband and mobile networks under brands such as Virgin Media-02 in the UK, Vodafone-Ziggo in The Netherlands, Telenet in Belgium, Sunrise in Switzerland, Belgium, Virgin Media in Ireland and UPC in Slovakia. Liberty Global Ventures, our global investment arm, has a portfolio of more than 75 companies and funds across content, technology and infrastructure, including strategic stakes in ITV, Univision, Plume, Lionsgate and the Formula E racing series.

Our scale enables us to transfer knowledge and expertise (other than how to get an Internet service to Nottingham that isn’t going down all the time) across our operations and investments, creating a dynamic family of brands united in the pursuit of innovation and excellence. (Giggle!) And we’re prioritising diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace and communities while reducing our impact on the environment. We are using technology as a force for good; for our people, our partners and the planet.

Hahaha! A World Leader? Armholes!

They can’t even get an unbroken, working signal to Nottingham. And they have a mast up the hill from the flats. Of course, it may be an old one from when Virgin was reliable, trustworthy and economical to use?

Second Carer called. Medicated and had a chin-wag for a couple of minutes; she checked the taps and stove for me, took the rubbish bag,

I got a call from the Haematology nurse, Kristina. She is going to call on me Monday, twixt 9-10am. Lovely to hear from her. First time in about nine weeks now. ♥

Turned everything off to give the computer a rest and went to get the done. With EQ warning me to take care! So I will, I must; he’s never wrong, you know, about upcoming mishaps, Accifauxpas, whatever, back in 2 hours or so. (Sorry, I mean in the morning.)

Good morning – updating now…

Got the nosh sorted.
A better taste this time. (It’s about time too!) Not been very successful with
vegetable soup (canned); I made extra gravy and cooked some mushrooms with a splash of liquid smoke. Taste-Rating: 802/10.
Just got settled to eat it and the TV on, and the evening carer arrived. was patient and sorted the medications out. I told him that the INR DVT Warfarin nurse had called and is coming to take a blood sample on Monday. He seemed pleased for me, knowing as he did that no one had been for eight-weeks now. He shot off so that I could eat the meal, bless him.
When I went to wash the empty dish and things, I found I’d left the hot water tap running, and the hob on the cooker too! A bout of self-cursing and disgust followed!

Delved into the c1966 charity shop bought, second-hand, wincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, got the TV back on; and promptly fell into a deep comforting sleep.Waking bouncingly,. as the door chime woke me, and the late Carer Joanne called. She added the night bag to after giving me a painkiller. We had a little nonsense natter, and off she went on her rounds.

That was it for sleeping; tired as I felt, the kicked-off! After a while, I gave up, got up and was glad I did, for the night view was grand and photographable in the extreme.

Pareidoliaing perfection…Superb!
Warm colours.
Grand!

I got back into the flea-bitten recliner, and no sooner had I settled than the fan-dangled visited. They seemed to be having a discussion and not including me this time? The oddest thing, feeling, sensation that I’ve had in a long time.

This went on for ages, and then suddenly, it snapped back into the usual assault of guilt, stupidity and shame directed straight at me. (Which is the usual thing, so, somehow, it comforted me?)
But  was still resistant.

I recall using the wind-up torch to make sure that the wee was getting through to the , and seeing that it was 02:00hrs.
I reckon I drifted off thereabouts and didn’t stir until 06:00hrs.

TTFNski!

Unbelievable, Another tooth-pulling day; perplexing, flustering, yet in many a way, an almost acceptable day! There were yet again problems with CorelDraw that almost had me giving up. Combined with the computer snags and mystifying ways, and the worst, only over-worrying thing was the cataracted eye and the decrease in vision all day… still struggling, and the hospital will be called in the morning. If I can get in, the blog will have to be rested. No time to even make notes again, so my dodgy memory will have to be pushed to the limit – not that it isn’t now!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Woke up. (Well, it seemed a good idea?).
Emptied the pouch.

Ablutionalisationings were done and onto the computer.
My vision seemed a lot worse this morning.
Five Porcelain Throne visits today.

While filling the not working water tank with buckets of water from the kitchen, I caught a view of my mush in the shaving mirror. (A nasty thing to do at the best of times, but at five o’clock in the morning, it was scary!) The Cateracted right eye seemed to be closing itself?.
No wonder I was struggling on the computer.

The first Carer, Kara, arrived as I was photographing what looked to me like a car crash. These are the photos that fooled me & Cataract Katie.
After she pointed it out to me that it wasn’t a tank or smashed car accident, but the trees and shadows, I did feel a clot! Eventually, with the aid of the magnifying glass, I saw what she described.

I found a picture that I took by accident. Thanks, Peripheral Pete!
I think I was putting the loose lens cap back on the camera.
It was my left-hand palm… I think.

Mid-afternoon, I dragged myself away from the cock-up   I’d made on CorelDraw yesterday and had to replace the missing dockers and icons.
Will I live long enough to finish the job? Hahaha!

Just before the tea, Carer called; I took these two shots of the blinding sun straight at me. I had to close my right eye so couldn’t see what they looked like. The sun’s strong light was reflecting on everything shiny out there.

Another 4 hours and I got yesterday’s blog finished and posted off.
Prepped the meal ready for cooking later. Mushrooms cut and cooked, added some garden peas to the pan and got the oven tray ready for the chips to go in to have with the veg. The soy mini sausages are ready in the fridge. Having them cold. I went back to the computer for a half-hour to make a start on this blog. 3 hours later. I got up to hear… I mean, here and went to check on the well-cooked mushrooms. Tsk!

Aha, a late sunset!
While pottering with cooking and salvaging some mushrooms for half an hour, I took these pictures about five minutes from the one before.

Well, I’m going to get some nosh now.
TTFN.

Good Morning, I’m back!
All bright and bubbly, joyful, contented, almost feeling carefree and untroubled… Well, alright, I lied! But I was still so tired, but on the bright side, had eased off at long last. Okay, I know had replaced her. Oh… and I kid you, not here… my were nowhere to be found! .

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

Vegan mini-sausages 9.2/10, Chips 6/10, Chestnut Mushrooms 7/10, garden peas 7/10, Disappointing sourdough rolls 5/10, beetroot 7.2/10. The plain yoghourt and lemon curd, a decent 7.5/10. The two gabs of cheesy Curls eaten afterwards, 8/10. Guilt? Me? Yes. My recently acquired arithmaphobia prevents me from working out an average… ah, the computer calculator…
I’ll try to see if I can work it out there…

It shows an average Taste Rating of 8.128571428571429.
Of course, I knew that.

I enjoyed that. It may not have been a gourmet meal, haute, or nouvelle cuisine, but it satisfied my proletariat level of epicureanism.

The last Carer arrived, and dang-me, I forgot to remind her about the night bag. Well, I was sat in the £300, second-hand, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working recliner, half asleep at the time… Still, I should have remembered.
Guilty; as self-charged! Hehe!
Medications were given, a little natter, and off she flew on her missions.

I was going to watch some TV, but it didn’t pan out like that. Well, I did watch some of the New Tricks episode, about five minutes worth in total over about an hour, with my constant nodding off and waking up, with sharp pullulating jerks. I gave up on the TVing, turned it off, and got my feet up on the chair, and gave in to the demands of my body for sleep…
and , The damnable invaded the brain… as I expected, they are having a party-time with me for the last seven nights on the trot!
But still, I kept waking up, a few times shuddering, flapping, or threshing about? It was never any bother getting back to sleep mind; to be greeted by the crude yet again and jumping awake. I had to go and empty the small day pouch and noticed it was 04:00 hours. I got back down, and much to my pleasure, the must-have worn themselves out. (or, had gone on holiday?) Zzz!

I need help from someone with hypnosophy!
Someone who knows computers & cinology,
I may struggle with my theopathy…
I have no signs of thalassophobia.
But mostly with my lost sagacity!

Adieu, adios, ciao,  farewell & Tara!

Here are the results with m comments added. Hehehe!

Now, I’m really worried, folks,
Got the Catheter night bag off without any
leaking, breaking or dropping owt.
One, not serious, walked into the door frame.
Things seemed too contented for my liking…
The Computer is jerky, but working.
Just one Porcelain Throne visit.
Had help getting the Asda food to the kitchen!
Back to the computer.. and…

“Jumpin’ Jahosafat!!!
CorelDraw had replaced icons, toolbars and dockers.
I had to set about trying to get the others back on and the unwanted off of the programme. Which I actually did in less than nine hours!
AGAIN I let a smug mode come over me.
When will I ever learn?
This time I was so sure I got it as I wanted it… well, as near as I was ever going to, anyway. Displaying great stupidity, naivety, & idiocy. Pitifully unwarranted confidence that it was set right, and brainlessness, I clicked set as defaults. Within an hour, I found I had not replaced the Text-Options box link – not the select-all, Place in front or behind icons.
Another day spent not getting anything done that needs doing!
Tomorrow, I’ve got to go… well, not got to go, but I would like to go to the
diabetic meeting in Winwood Court. So more time is lost in the ether. Why I want to I do not understand cause it’ll be just the same as at the Bulwell meetings, which I can’t get to now with the catheter. I can’t see the whiteboards or written advice, can’t hear whoever is talking… I’ll have to think about this decision…

I woke, got up, and took off the night bag, which had a healthy-looking coloured content, warm; almost hot, of wee-wee.

And for the first visit of the day to the . The evacuation was swift and, for once, not splattery or overly messy. Only and of course, the Queen of ailments for all of last week, , was reaching an 8 on the pain scale meter. Lugging the bowls of water from the kitchen to refill the non-working WC tank three times each flush… well, it’s some exercise, innit?

Pottered about making up and sorting the waste bags for collection. And the morning Carer arrived. I took the tablets, pills and medicine like a good boy. While was here, the Asda order arrived.
Shaquille helped to carry them through the kitchenette with me.
I had ordered some fresh-cut vegetables, bearing in mind last week’s finger, chin and knuckle cutting.
This is all the fresh stuff that arrived.

Shame!.
Still, I got Asda Essential which is now not so cheapo plain yoghurt, that I was planning to have with the Asda Essential cheapo Lemon Curd, but they’d got none of them in stock either.
I did get another block of the Flora Not-Butter butter because it was on Special.
Plenty of potatoes, though; I expected some of them not to be in stock, but they all came. Fooled me there!

And tons of canned peas and various other vegetables.
So it looks like veg soup and stews a week or so.
On to the computer.
Then hours of confusion with carers calling, and phone calls; I struggled to get CorelDraw 2017 reset again.
It’s still playing up now, very regularly.
Not the foggiest idea why. And it cost me another day, and still, it’s not right!

Around 13:00hrs, I heard the mobile tone ringing.
I found it at 18:10hrs when I trod on it on the floor. Humph! I went to check on who texting or calling, and it dropped from assisted by ailment number 9,
acci-whoop It landed on the spot it had been hiding in…, but despite it being on the carpet, the back of the phone came off!
I spat, cursed and bent down to retrieve the pieces and then launched an attack as I stood upright.
I spat and cursed more vehemently this time. Took a painkiller… I smelt the day long taken to cook soup burning, and I hobbled hastily to the kitchen to turn of the heat and hope for the best…
Then realised I’d left the hot water tap running.

There are depressions and depressions of differing characteristics – I nearly went into each one!
Then spotted the clouds and sun out at last.
And had a few minutes of pareidolia joy.

The evening carer arrived and sorted the medications out for me. We had a laugh; she thought the NHS replies were great & humorous.

Close the annoying computer down and got the nosh sorted out.
Back hopefully in the morning

♫ I Made it through the night ♫

Wednesday morning (another farcical day dawned, I’ll put it in tomorrow’s blog, all the gory details). Back to tonight…

I prepared and dined on the vegetable (it-came-out-horrible) soup, with rolls and a mistaken thought it would be delicious plain yoghourt with a pot of orange jelly in it. The Carer arrived as I was tucking into it – no, that’s not the right word; tucking in suggests that someone was enjoying something.
And yet, I ate it all?

I blame the she-devil, who goes I’ve given yet another title, and she’s named . Even the jelly & yoghourt was tasteless. The Carer gave me a Covid Test yesterday, and it was clear. Taste rating: 2.5/10!

I did my best to stay awake to watch ‘New Tricks’ on the goggle-box. But it was a futile try; although the dreaded woke me up every few minutes, which is not unusual.

I had to get up to empty the day pouch of its contents and wash & disinfect the container.

Glad I did, now, cause the late sunset was just going down towards the horizon.

While taking these photos and viewing the scene on offer…
I went into one of the rare ‘Out-of-it’ spells.
They are hard to describe with any clarity. One suddenly feels as if you’ve gone out of your looking at yourself.
Impossible, I know that, but for the few minutes it lasted, I did believe I was doing just that. No sense, rhyme or reason as far as I could tell for these odd moments I get. Most of them occur when I’m looking out from the window. Can happen any time of day or night. I’ve had a few when I was out and about too? I tried to explain these to the Mental Nurse; her disinterest, or belief, it dispirited me somewhat, as I recall. I’ll not mention it next visit – if there is one with the strikes.

Back down into the £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, dour crumb-containing, virus-breeding, acne-giving, rickety, none-working recliner. I nodded off quickly for around about ten minutes. But the damned rotten crap kicked off straight away.

I took these few last photographicalisations of the day, of the darkening view and wonderful colourations from the dipping away sun.

Now the usually no0bother-at-all getting back to sleep was a bother! It took me ages to nod off this time. Yet the had all but disappeared?

All a part and parcel of the unaccountable mysteries, phantoms, and hauntings of Woodthorpe Court. (It never used to be like this, they tell me until I arrived!).

Now then, where did I leave the walking stick?

REGRETFULLY – TIME DEFEATED ME, SO, A POOR BLOG – SORRY!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

I was up, took the night pouch off, and started several different jobs simultaneously. But I was, at that time, in a better condition than the day before. For a few hours, anyway. I can remember some of the things I began doing. Made a brew, which went cold, as I decided it would be a good idea to get the ablutions done. Then found myself making up the laundry bag ready for collection, and I struggled to open the box of soap pouches. I had to rush to the , that evacuation was over about five seconds after I’d sat down. But the sense of another one was on the way, made me stay where I was and had a go at the crossword book. While doing this, and rather successful for once, blood from Little Inchie was felt running down my leg. So I abandoned the crossword and cleaned it up; there was only a spot or two left to come, then back to the puzzling. The follow-through, backup, or second coming did not arrive.
While I refilled the bowls from the kitchen to refill the non-working water tank on the WC… yes, you guessed it! I had to rush back to the . So, with the first dollop of mush not being cleared yet, I then had to get four bowls of water to encourage the mess to go down the toilet. I was well worn out by the time I’d done it all! But did that stop me farting about doing other things at the same time? No!
I went into a short Memory Blank, I think at this time… well, I know I did; when I came round, I wrote it on the pad, and there is nothing else on it at all, apart from my weakling up time.
I found another mug of tea with the bag still in it gone cold. I moved some spring water bottles around in the kitchen, left the cold water tap running, and although there was nothing in there, I’d left the oven door open!
I did start to realise I needed to concentrate. I did feel a little better later. A Carer called, and I’m sure we laughed about something or other.

What I’m writing may be out of chronological order, I fear. I think maybe I got the ablutions done before the Carer called. Anyway, I had to return to… yes; the yet again. Swift, messy, and how I didn’t drop a bowl of water or take a tumble was… well, a miracle! Ah, I did have a few cuts shaving. But little Inchie was no longer leaking, yes, the odd spot here and there that the PPs coped with admirably; this is several times a day occurrence from tube inserted.
Now the vagueness returned for a while. Eventually, very late on, I got the computer started, and the second carer arrived. AHA! She had some medications for me. At last, some Codeine! I asked for one straight away. This cheered me greatly. I really believe, swear, that the pain reduced the in half an hour!
The vagueness was coming and going for the next hours. I know Sister Jane called me, be nothing about what we spoke of… other than we were both sad to see Nottingham Forest struggling (I think?)
Around 16:00hrs, I finished and posted yesterday’s blog, then as I went to make a brew and empty the , I found I’d put the oven on a low light? Wish someone had told me. Hehehe!
There must have been raining outside, but I’d spent so long doing the blog that it is now almost time for the early evening carer. I can’t even remember the afternoon safety check caller. I’d been in a mental cocoon, I think.
So, I thought looking at the photographs I’d taken should help me recall things. As I got the camera to take out the SD card… ~~I saw in the computer’s external disk thingy reader.
I fear things are getting worse. Just doing this blog is taking me so many
error-filled hours. Causing frustrations.
I think I can hear an alarm now, but it’s just stopped?

I left all three receptacles filled with water in the wet room in case there were any more needs to utilise the .
There were a few, and after heaving water from the kitchenette to the Wet room, , has been ever-present since. The painkillers were week used today! A morning view of the sky so blue. I even managed a little spot for two of pareidoliaing.

Computerisationing had an enormous amount of errors and miss-reading. As the day dragged on and I got more tired, so wrong options were taken; thanks to and .
The afternoon brought storm-threatening darkness. Not that it mattered much to me. I’ve not been outside now for about... oh, ages. It must be close to a month now since I’ve seen and breathed fresh air?
The last time I went out for a pleasure hobble around the flats, ~I had to return sharpish half was along Citrus Walk in front of the flats. Blood from Little Inchies , then the valve sprung open and filled my shoe! I can remember that well enough!

Then after taking the photo above, gave me something that he hasn’t shared with me for months on end, probably close on a year; an involuntary Right arm Hitler salute! I could have done without that! I rattled my knuckles against the window handle and, at the same time, I managed to knock off the window shelf, the knife box, the kitchen roll holder, the box of bags, and a jar of mint sauce! .
Then bending down to pick up the knives and check for damage to the floor, I hit my head against the freezer door edge! It took me an hour or more to get everything back where it should be.
I’d been lucky, I think, all the same. All five of the scattered-about knives missed any part of my body!
The only bad bit of the cleaning up and sorting was retrieving the bamboo stick that had rolled between the base cupboard and cooker. The burn in my hand that caught against the oven was nothing to a man like me. I laughed it off and at it! I’m inured to pain and a brave heroic sort of chap.
I made an error… (What am I saying? I’m always making errors)… with the daily meal. But it didn’t matter as it happens. I overcooked the vegan burgers, uneatable! But, me having the Natorra black tomatoes on the plate; They taste like meat to me? Lovely!
The ready-sliced potatoes (I thought after yesterday’s [photo on the left] Accifauxpas while slicing fresh potatoes were a good idea) Were very nice and crispy. Even the pickled beetroots were nice and well cooked, soft and kind to what few teggies I have left. I shan’t get any more of those burgers. Flavour Rating: 9.3/10.
Got settled down.
The feet and legs were looking better tonight. The ankle ulcers had all but disappeared again.
The skin looked a little darkly cadaverous. But I knew I’d not snuffed it yet, cause as I was nodding off, the leg slipped off of the chair, and that woke me up, so I knew I was still here when the pain and shock woke me out of my wallowing. But, putting getting back into the land of nod into a no-go area! Humph!

INCHIES CONDITION
HAIRY-FAIRY

I rose earlier than of late. Got the night bag detached. The moment I tried to move from the c1966 charity shop bought, second-hand, whincingly grotty, beige coloured, not working, crumb-covered from the nocturnal nibblings, itch-making, uncomfortable, virus breeding, easy-to-fall-out-of, recliner, I was greeted in the usual “Take-that-you-git” style as is a favourite felicitation lately of . Christ! She was even worse than yesterday… so vicious, whatever position of pose I adopted. I made for the painkillers and imbibed a couple post haste.

However, looking on the bright side, I did seem to be in better control of what I was doing – then, the had to be responded to, so I did. The usual Sit, Splurt all done routine again. Then the bit that was really unpopular with … fetching the water in bowls from the kitchenette. I needed three bowls-full today to refill the waterless, unfilling tank on the WC. Every shuffling step I took care so as not to spill the water or drop the bowel, I was tormented by . On the second trip, the ailments ganged up on me. Brenda was joined most handicapping, and for the first time in weeks, by in the right knee. Had anyone come in, they would have seen a limping, water-spilling old man concentrating so hard not to drop the bowl; I had had my tongue out!
Gordon Bennett, that took me some time to get done!

Got the waste bins sorted out and found a pot to use for emptying out the pouch into. Not that I have used it much as of now (15:00hrs). I’ve been guzzling water enough, but it doesn’t want to come out? A bit worrying that cause it’s been so good these last few days.

Then I got the Health Checks done. The first one shook me a bit. The readings were SYS 194 over DIA 64, and the pulse & temperature were up too! I left it a few minutes and tried again. This time, it was much better, but still not good. SYS 154 DIA 65. Pulse and temperature were still too high.

My Sherlock Holmesian mind tweaked into action… (It does  that sometimes, you know) Not often, I admit!
I deduced, using my superior investigative, but affected brain cells. I may have had some help with coming to my decision, from the agony that was giving me, of course. But I thought the carrying of the bowls of water may have affected the ticker rate on the first test?

After that, the HAIRY-FAIRY why-am-I-doing-this hit me. It stayed for a few hours; nothing got finished that I started, and ruled the roost.

The Carer arrived. Medications sorted. Can’t recall what about now, but we had a little chin-wag.

I gathered some of the accoutrement I used and put them on the £300, bought eight years ago from the second-hand shop, Harold Haemorrhoid testing, repugnantly beige-coloured, crumb-containing recliner. Then spent a few fruitless minutes trying to work out why I’d collected them onto the £300, second-hand, decrepit, Haemorrhoid Harold-testing, sleep-deterring, nauseatingly beige-coloured, not-working recliner. Aha! I think I remember a bit of the chin-wag I had/

The left hand’s little digit was in its usual position, trying to tangle itself up with the next finger. Which is its usual position. See why I struggle to type correctly and make so many mistakes?
Then, for about five minutes, the fingers were trying to get away from each other?
I’ve never had that before.

The Iceland delivery arrived. Unfortunately, the driver chap left the bags in the doorway. So that meant by the time I’d got them into the kitchen was giving me some stick again. Still, there was nothing unavailable from them this time, and I feel I might not run out of kitchen towels for a good while yet. Hehehe!

The ice-cream flavour drinks are rather nice.
The noodles were on offer.
The brown and white bread rolls ha gone up by 30p a packet though.
The Strawberry jelly pot is on offer!

The lemon curd mini jam rolls are Very nice looking) were three times the price of the Asda raspberry ones; however, they did have some sort of thickish flavouring on the outside of each roll. I’ll try one later on. Custard creams, vegan mini sausages and some Spanish strawberries, When I’d recovered from getting them into the kitchen and put them away, I took a punnet of strawberries and a can of gin for Josie to have.

Then got my nosh started. Ate it; taste: 6/10. And nodded off, leaving the tray on the ottoman. Into a deep dream-filled sleep. Aha, off in the land of nod.
Dreaming for once, a decent dream; I was in an underground cave, and I was popular with the crowd of people with me. One of them identifies himself as a Doctor of medicine. Who recommended that it would be wisest for me not to bother waking up. And gave me an email address for St Peter. This was also real to me! So much more happened, but all vague now, the email address for St Peter, made me laugh as I was scribbling notes about what I could recall later. Hahaha!
Hoping to rejoin the clan in the cave, I drifted off in hopes of finding the dream again. Of course I didn’t!

I was woken again by the late Carer. I know it was a she, and bless her didn’t put the light on. Kind touch that! No idea what was said or done. and was instantly back in the land of nod when she left; I didn’t even get up to lock the door. Idle monkey me! But, no more dreaming!

TTFN!

Fan-Bloody-Tastic!
– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –
My window-frame head-butting session from yesterday
that I thought might affect my brain…
Hahaha! The things I come out with!
Affect my brain? A little late to do any serious harm to it.
The brain has had milling

about inside for a year or so now. As it turned out, no
damage was detected. In fact, I was a little disappointed
with the bruise quality, as it’s almost gone this morning!

Still, it didn’t affect my distinguished looks. Hehehe!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – –

A decent kip compared to the last few week’s efforts. Unbothered by
, or by the double-glazed head-butting wound on my forehead. However… conversely, , then combined to ruin the nocturnal sleeping session on their own.
They both eased off at the same time, around 06:00hrs.
At about 07:30hrs, Carer Richard arrived. I was so pleased to see him at last. But I was so tired I could not communicate properly. He told me to ring Matron about the leaking papules. Can’t recall much more; I think I kept nodding off while he was talking. Not being rude; just worn out through lack of sleep. I think he said as he left he’ll see me next Monday? A look at the roster later backed this up. Shame, only once a week.

I ran Matron. Later a Nurse came; she was a little miffed with me ringing in. I explained although was trying Otto stop me from talking, doing a reasonable job too: That the Carer, who was just out of the hospital with a similar problem, advised me to. I didn’t impress her!
If looks could have killed through the ether, I’d not be writing this now!
Even though not my fault – I humbly apologised as she swooshed out of the door, but missed whatever it was she said back to me. (Probably a good thing?) Don’t think that she scared me… but she did! Hahaha!

The wee-weeing started slowly, then suddenly got a move on. Once again, an excellent colour – but a horrible pong when I emptied the bag!

.

After the third visit to the , each one was messy.

.
I belatedly made the first brew of the day.
The dark clouds seemed to be moving quickly.
Ether that or and/or
, was assisting
to make my eyesight even worse than yesterday.
Mid-afternoon, I had to stop using the computer as
my vision worsened, and I got tired again. This happens
if you don’t get much sleep; I’ve noticed this!

Minutes after taking this shot, the sun came through the clouds.

.
The skies quickly turned blue. But the sun was not shining on the car park below; it was shaded by the trees. I’ll try again later is I remember to…
There I go again! Dreaming!.

I’ll have to pack up soon; the eyes are making things to complicated for me on WordPress. I’ll try to get some suitable Cartoons sorted out in a bit.

I did take this shot up high in the sky…
A  few lonely little clouds…
But still highly pareidoliable!
Be nice to know if either of the blog
readers can see in the above what I can?
Natural, I may be at an advantage with eye problems.

According to what I’ve looked up
on the web, is the culprit that
makes things appear to be moving when they are not.
A beastie with jaws, I see?

Going to get an early meal, but a ready-made one. Lamb Moussaka! Make some gravy, and bake some cut-up spuds in the oven. A sourdough roll or two to dunk in the fodder… best-laid plans, and all that… I’m off…

Tuesday morning late (At last, I got some sleep) was Far too much, although I must have needed it, I suppose.

CATCH-UP: The supper went as planned…

Flavour Rating: 802/10!

I washed the pots and got my head down really early.

Carer Jodie arrived, waking me up, and medicated me, checked the.
wristlet alarm, taps and cooker, and we had a little natter.
Despite the uncomfortableness of the c1966, £300 pound,
second-hand charity-shop bought, crumb-containing,
odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly
beige-coloured, non-working, virus-breeding recliner, within
seconds of bidding her farewell, I was back in the land of nod!..

Carer Jodie woke me again. But I still like her! Checked if I
needed painkillers or Peptac, and mentioned that the.
Warfarin tablets are getting low. She reminded me to lock the
door. How I managed to do it, I don’t know; I was deep
in sleep mode. And on and off, must have slept for about
13 hours or so. At last, but wish it could have been
asleep all the way through without any interruptions.
But it was needed!

AnyoneOh, there was one other break in my sleep I’d forgotten about. I jouncingly, joltingly, and jarringly woke up, positive that someone had come into the flat. Not sure if it was a noise or part of a dream I’d been having, but I was certain someone was in the hallway…
Dang dang dang, DANG!
I grabbed Metal-Micky, not to use as a weapon, of course, just a hobbling aid; although if the yobbos were back inside the flat again, it may come in handy for that.
By the time I’d struggled to free my excessively large, flabby, hanging and drooping stomached body from the c1966, £300 pound, second-hand charity-shop-bought, crumb-containing, odour-retaining, Harold’s Haemorrhoid-testing, nauseatingly beige coloured, non-working, uncomfortable recliner… if there had been anyone coming in, they would have been about ten-minutes older by the time I got to the hallway.
There were no signs of any intruders, of course. I checked that the door was still locked, had a peep out through the spyhole, and it was all clear.
I got back in the £300, second-hand shop bought nine years ago, c1966, discomfiting, alarmingly beige-coloured, crumb-containing, TV remote hiding, not working recliner.
I seem to remember saying to myself, “After all that kip, will I be able to get back to… Zzz!
